We were seated quickly, and the service was good. I had the steamed Shui Mai and the Shrimp Dumplings. Both were tasty. My husband had the Kung Pao Shrimp. I was impressed by the exceptionally large, fresh, prawns in his dish. Good job! The restaurant itself was very quiet -- a nice change of pace from the casino area.

We had visited Wing Lei at the Wynn last time in town, and in checking for reservation openings, there was nothing available for this Saturday night. We were just walking through the Wynn looking for something for dinner, and came across Red 8. They had a table available for us within 5 minutes. I had been craving Chinese food and was delighted with our discovery. I was even more delighted after we were done. Our Server, Wilson, had given us excellent service, helping us navigate the menu, and order more thoughtful selections than we would have otherwise. And every dish was most enjoyable. While your tastes may vary, we ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Hong Kong Crispy Noodles with Seafood, String Beans with XO Sauce, and Steamed Rice. They were all so good, with just a couple of the pieces of Kung Pao Chicken being a touch over-cooked. All the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the small chicken blemish did little to take away from our enjoyment of our meal. The room was comfortable and service excellent. A great dinner.

Last minute choice, this was a really good choice . All we had was great. The service was top notch. I would recommend this to anyone who likes asian food

Terrific food as always . Great meal , but the staff seem a bit abrupt in our opinion. . Apart from that can’t fault the place .

Ate lunch here and the service was very quick. The food was ok, nothing special. Only had the fried rice, would like to try something else next time.

I was told in the Dallas American Airline lounge that this was the place for Dim Sum in Las Vegas. I tried to make reservations but they do not take reservations so we showed up as a party of 7 and they set us up within 20 minutes while we had a drink at a nearby bar. The menu had something for everyone in our party and we were not rushed at all as we ordered single items and then another after that was finished and so on. I read the other reviews and you can go find cheaper Chinese food elsewhere but nothing of this quality. We had a blast and it was a little above average price but worth every cent.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Red8. It is in The Wind casino and was a last moment thought anout grabbing dinner there. It turned out to be very nice a great food. There was very little wait time (which helped me save money from losing more in the slots). I had the rice noodles they were abut spicy but very good. It had authentic Asain cuisines. It even had semi private rooms for larger crowds

We ordered sticky rice, shrimp dumplings, mushroom dumplings and pork dumplings. Great service. Excellent chili oil.

Cosy atmosphere with a nice variety of South East Asian dishes. We loved the Malaysian fried rice. It was so delicious. Staffs were friendly. Reservation prior to dining is fully recommended.

Everything we have ever ordered at this restaurant was tasty and prepared just right. Convenient location inside the resort with the open walls allowing customers to look out at the activity, if so desired, as they eat.

Very good food server was very helping in guiding choices. Tried the chicken peanut and the shrimp dishes. Both were excellent large portions. Very good tasting. Only weak point was very busy, I would suggest making a reservation.

As New York city boy i am no stranger to Chinese restaurants so when i tell you this is the THE place to eat take my word for it! Can't remember the chef name but wow the food was incredible try the Lotus Dumplings it will change your life and the Chow Main i couldn't get enough! drinks are awesome and if you didn't finish they let you wonder off with it into the casino so no worries of waiting to finish before you can play! have fun

Very expensive for what is offered. The jellyfish was great but the noodle dishes suffered for a lack of proper spicing and the vegetable dish we got was bland

A great Dim Sum forward menu. Convenient, right off the casino floor. The noodle bowls are excellent. They can accommodate and serve larger parties with great precision and ease. Always a stop for myself when in town on business.

Great ambiance and service very attentive the food quality is high and the taste are very traditional, the prices are reasonable we are definitely coming back

We expected it to be good since so many of the diners were Chinese. We were not disappointed.Wonderful Shanghai style soup dumplings, delicious soft shell crab, shrimp won ton noodle soup and much more.Good Service and worth the (usual) wait of 30 mins or so.

If patience is a virtue, then dining at Red 8 made me a saint. We waited 45 minutes for our food — long enough to start a new hobby, question our life choices, and still have time to grow emotionally as people. The servers were friendly but seemed to be practicing the ancient art of disappearing. By the time the food arrived, we weren’t sure if we were at dinner or brunch for the next day. The food? Not bad. But after that wait, even a microwaved burrito would’ve tasted like a Michelin-starred masterpiece. Would I go back? Only if I bring snacks for the wait. ⏳🍜

We enjoyed the food and it was served hot. The restaurant is located near the casino. It is busy and crowded but excellent service. It is expensive but convenient. Great variety of menu items. The hot and sour soup is enough for two.

Went for a late dinner and was impressed by not only their service but also the quality of the food. Had the soup and the seabass and the chef customized my dish with veggies. Good value place as well.

This restaurant , located in The Wynn offers fresh authentic tasting Asian and Oriental food at a reasonable price. With excellent service and a wide choice of food this is a great way to spend an evening away from the gambling.

Had a great experience. The dishes I researched before hand.... were fantastic! (EX.Dim sum) The ones I assumed were great, were a little bit bland. So be prepared for that. I'd probably give it a 4 star, but the server made it into a 5 star. Server was very willing to share the good dishes, and he was right. Made it a great experience. Probably over priced... but it's Vegas, so expected.

Had lunch with family here (group of 6). We chanced a walk in as it was a Tuesday afternoon but had a small 30 minute wait, which was absolutely fine as we were a group of 6. The table was ready before 30 mins. The choice of items on the menu were good. I'm a vegetarian and I struggle to find anywhere to eat, especially in Vegas, but they had Vegetable rice which was very tasty. A few in the group mentioned that the food was one of the best Asian foods they have ever had! Everyone's plate was empty. Cocktails were good but were not big glasses, wish they were a bit bigger. Otherwise, would definitely return.

If you're from Hawaii and are looking for meals you're use to; this is your place! The food was so flavorful with each and every bite!

For a hotel restaurant, the food was really good. I ordered the Singapore noodles and very rarely would you expect a hotel restaurant to get it right. Super flavorful and huge portion. I couldn't stop eating it. Service was good and atmosphere just right - not formal and not loud. Would definitely go back.

This isn't the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, it's about average. The restaurant is lovely and open late, but too expensive for basic recipes. It's all about location.

Couldn’t fault the quality or presentation of the food. I had the mixed BBQ selection and some stir fried vegetables, and that was nearly $60.

Lovely food. Reasonable price. Great surroundings. Great for couples and groups of up to about eight.

The food is a travesty. A combination of US food and hygene requiements ensure the dumplings are soggy and over steamed. They were probably frozen first. They certainly aren't made to order. Salt and pepper squid cooked in old oil, virtually inedible. The Laksa lacks spice and flavour. Seafood sausage anaemic and the shrimps were very obviously frozen. Honestly not good at all.

Waited about 20 min for a very late lunch, very early dinner before U2 at the Sphere. Service was good and the food didn’t disappoint. Enjoyed the atmosphere. This isn’t a large restaurant and you can still see the hustle and bustle of the casino just outside the “windows.” We would eat here again if we were at the Wynn.

We stopped here for lunch, had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table. we walked around the casino until we got a text telling us our table was ready. The service was good. The two Dim sum chive dumplings and shrimps in bean curd rolls were really good. The assorted barbecue platter was good. The stir fried mixed vegetables was OK. Overall, it was a good meal.

Excellent service. Food was delivered quickly and various options were offered,. Only super minor item.... I like Hot and spicy dishes...couldn't seem to find a ot enough hot sauce Overall an exceptional experience

Food was okay, service good. Did not make a lasting impression but okay for a quick lunch if you don't want to leave the hotel.

We sat for almost twenty minutes before even getting water. My mother is allergic to shellfish and the server said the only thing she can order is chicken chow mien and I’ve had better at panda. I ordered the Kung Pao shrimp which was six shrimp on a plate with green and red peppers no flavor. My aunt and uncles dishes were mediocre. This is a restaurant inside the Wynn and they need to act like it. My mom was almost in tears she was so hungry when we left after our $100+ check. Ridiculous.

Located inside the Wynn, Red 8 serves quality Chinese food, but you pay a premium because it is in the Wynn. The food is well presented and the sauces were properly applied in just the right quantity.

Food is decent for the price and not authentic. There are other better options around for Chinese food.

We sat down for a variety of dim sum. The food was excellent. The service was very good. The prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend if staying at the Wynn.

This was the best way to close our visit to Vegas with a very diverse and amazing lunch. Dim sum was actually very good, with good selection and the other Chinese plates were very tasteful. We usually go to the classic buffet but having a Chinese brunch in Vegas was unexpected and very recommended. Good cure for the hangover too.

Came with a party of 5 on a Monday night and was seated almost immediately. Servers were very friendly and food came out quickly. The food tasted great with portions that were big enough to do family style. The price was also very reasonable by Vegas standards. Special shout out to the decor as the atmosphere was calm and beautiful.

Very surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. We went in after going to a show at The Wynn and loved pretty much everything about it. The service was good and the cocktails were even better. The food was really terrific and there was a decent selection for non-meat eaters which was more than just window dressing. Highly recommended

Bad… overcrowded. Most of the waiters are Chinese, and have a peculiar accent in English, with masks on it is impossible to understand descriptions. On the other hand, every time they change diners or clients they poorly clean the tables.

We had dinner here and were happy with the quality of food as well as the service. We were seated promptly and the food came in quick. The server was pleasant.

Enjoyed a luncheon experience at Red 8 in the Wynn Resort. Wynn is doing everything correctly as far as CDC guidelines go. We felt very safe and comfortable during our lunch. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The cuisine was excellent and nicely presented. My one star ding is that fact that I don’t like the auction of food ( who gets the chicken, who gets the fish?). In a high-end, high price restaurant, this is unacceptable service to me. We recommend this restaurant if you are at Wynn and looking for a nice Asian dining experience.

I stopped in for a quick bite I’ve eaten here before and it all came back to me of how good the food is. Service was very quick with the server Richie being very attentive. I ordered Mongolian beef with brown rice Beef was extremely tender with loads of pepper and onion. Lots of rich spicy sauce to compliment the brown rice . Take advantage of this great experience.

My husband and I dined at Red 8 while staying at the hotel. We waited approximately 30 minutes and gave our phone number to be notified when a table was ready. After returning upon notification, we waited a further 5 minutes without any acknowledgement or reassurance about our table. Eventually we were seated by a friendly server. My husband and I both ordered a stir fry and they were just very basic. Mine was the chow mein - the chicken was over, and really I probably could have produced something similar at home. We also had a dumpling appetizer that was ok.

Stopped in for a quick late lunch after a day shopping. The food is great. Fresh and they have a great range. There is always a steady flow of people in the restaurant and I would recommend you book for dinner. The only negative ...which is the case pretty much everywhere inside a casino is that you do get an occasional wiff of cigarette smoke. Smoking is allowed on the casino floor which took a little getting use to. Even so I would go back to eat there.

Disappointing. Nothing truly terrible, but definitely not worth the $$ or time. We arrived on the early side as they don't take reservations, so were seated immediately: good start. Drink order? Thank heaven the waiter didn't hear us order tea, because after we examined the menu we discovered the tea was $7.50 for each person. When was the last time you were at a Chinese restaurant of any kind where they didn't serve tea? Menu order? We were very surprised as the the prices on the menu were a good 25% higher than on the menu online. The menu is a really bizarre combination of Americanized Chinese and more upscale imitation Chinese, and not honest descriptions of anything. We had pot stickers 4 pc/$11 (!), salt&pepper soft shell crab $24+, and BBQ rib noodle ($17-18?). The crab was cooked properly, but there was no attempt to flavor the crab before coating & frying with the s&p batter, so much of the crab's flavor was lost. The BBQ rib noodle was the worst of our choices-- half sized, nothing BBQ about the meat, one lonely sprig of green, a thoroughly tasteless and watery "sauce," and last but certainly not least, the "homemade cat's ear noodle" was actually dried orricchio pasta, that was under cooked. We didn't order any rice, thank heavens, because that would have been another $3.80 each (I have only once encountered a charge for rice at any real Chinese restaurant in my 65+ years!)

My family and I had a fantastic time dining at Red 8. Not only was our server very attentive, but the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed without being too laid back. While we didnt get alcoholic drinks at this meal, one of our daughters got a virgin mojito and the other an exotic (non-alcoholic) lemonade. Our daughter said the mojito was definitely the best one she's ever had; it truly did taste like it was poured in heaven - the perfect mix of fizzy and tangy. We had steamed shrimp dumplings for starters and they were definitely made fresh to order. My palate is still recovering from shoving it straight into my mouth the moment it arrived at our table. It was definitely worth the amazing flavour. For our main, we enjoyed the Kung Pao Shrimp with Malaysian Fried Rice and a side of brown rice. The shrimp were succulent and cooked just right with cruncy onion and peppers for texture. All in all, the food was phenomenal, and while the wait time (forty minutes) was a little extensive, the delicious food was definitely worth the time we spent dealing with growling tummies.

Some friends invited me to join them for dinner here. One of them said he’d order for the table. Before we knew it, our table was completely full of so many wonderful dishes. We were all pretty full when we left. The service was top shelf.

Restaurant is located in the Wynn on the casino floor so the smoking is a problem as the restaurant is open to the floor. We had to wait an hour for a table but the food was very good and the service prompt. Cocktails were also good. Shame about the smokers which means we will not return.

Red 8 is located in the Wynn Casino, they don’t take bookings. The food is exceptional and staff are lovely. Lots to choose from something for everyone does get very busy.

This was a very nice, clean restaurant, with friendly staff. It had been a long time since we had eaten at an actual Chinese restaurant (normally opting for Mongolian grill, Teriyaki or some other version of asian cuisine), so this was a nice treat for us. We felt a little under-dressed in our tank tops and shorts, but the staff were very courteous and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious. The restaurant’s cleanliness was pristine. Overall, a nice experience and worth a try if you’re in the mood for good Chinese food.

Red 8 serves authentic Chinese recipes in modern Asian style. The menu is in Chinese, with helpful English translations. You want boba? They have boba! Also black and green tea, honey and lemon, hot soy milk, and so forth. Menu selections lean heavily on central, southern, and Taiwanese cuisine with only a few nods to the north. We ordered Sichuan Scallops With Chinese Eggplant (鱼香茄子带子煲), Dan Dan Noodles With Pork (擔擔麵 , 担担面), and Steamed Shanghainese Pork Dumplings (上海小籠包 , 上海小笼包), commonly known as xiao long bao. It was all quite good, especially the scallops with Chinese eggplant, which were perfectly seasoned. The Chinese eggplant was buttery-tender, infinitely better on the palate than heavier and tougher American eggplants. Red 8 sits at the heart of the Wynn on the Las Vegas strip, one of the poshest casino properties in Las Vegas, so it’s astonishing that everything mentioned above that we ordered plus iced tea and soy milk cost only $105 including tax and tip. The décor is ornate, but not stuffy. The room is open partially to the casino. Red 8 is good food and a lot of fun. 请享用 !

Our visit to Red8 was the worst dining experience I've had in over 20 years. The service was unbelievably bad. After being seated by friendly the hostesses, we were ignored for over 13 minutes before asking who appeared to be the manager to take our order. He did not offer nor ask if we wanted drinks or wine. After 45min, our food had not arrived and no one had stopped to check in with us. We received some of our order about 1 hour in, only after we found the manager as we were about to leave. The food was flavorless and lower quality than what I recall Panda Express to be (however I haven't eaten at Panda Express since college.) Our appetizer came at the end of our meal with no apologies, and we sent it back. No one came to bring a check, and we had to ask the hostesses for the check. Really a shameful and disgusting display from Red 8. They simply do not care, and its apparent there is zero accountability -- the fish stinks from the head.

Something about Chinese food being overpriced is a real turn off. Add this aspect to the fact that the Red 8 is located just off the casino floor (think cigar smoke, noise, and too much pedestrian traffic walking by as you eat), and eating here will likely be a one-time experience. Food is nothing more than average, and service is the same, though our server was pleasant enough. If you are in the mood for some Chinese food, getting it here will likely leave you thinking more about what it doesn't deliver, than what it does.

We had lunch there and it was great. Food was delicious. Service could not have been better and reasonably priced. All around good experience and wouldn’t hesitate recommend

We had booked for the Le Reve show at the Wynn hotel and wandered through the hotel looking for a pre-show dinner. Many of the places were fully booked (Naturally) so we ended up at the Red 8 that found a table for us. Red 8 is not an outstanding restaurant, but the food was tasty, freshly prepared and plentiful. We started off with the Hot and Sour soup which was very good. We then shared Softshell Crabs, Cashew Chicken, Honey Roasted Prawns and Special Fried Rice. The service was a little slow, but generally O.K. Good Pre-show Dinner!! Nice Place!!

Very reasonably priced food. Good service. Good food. No complaints at all! If you are looking for a quieter night in Vegas, this could be ideal!

We are a Muslim family who just wanted to enjoy a delicious meal, only to discover that 99% of the menu is either pork, fried in pork or boiled with pork! Unbelievable! Will definitely not be returning.

Located at the Wynn, a great choice for Asian food. All our favourite dishes served quickly and cooked to perfection. A good selection of Chinese dishes.

Good Chinese in the Wynn. We had lunch there. The food is okay. The soup fantastic. Good service. It’s in the middle of the casino, so if you like the smell of cigarettes, it’s great.

I loved the food. But, the menu didn't do a great job of telling you what was in the dim sum. Mushroom dumplings for example: mushroom caps stuffed with shrimp is not on the menu description. I'm not a shrimp person, and fortunately not allergic. But they were tasty, nonetheless.

I had the shrimp bun and the vegetable spring roll. Both were terrible. The spring rolls were extremely greasy and the sauce tasted like it had ketchup in it. The shrimp bun was dry and had very little shrimp. It was nearly all bread and was served with no sauce.

This place looks great but in the end is another overpriced casino restaurant with mediocre food and mixed service. The chicken satay was chewy and it was a struggle to get a drink even though it was not very busy. Try something else.

Amazing Chinese restaurant of Wynn, probably only Delilah is better! Excellent service, great food, fantastic taste! Highly recommended!

We did not have good experience in Din Tai Feng restaurant in Aria. The foods were bland and the service was not good. The Xiao long Pao, the steam dumplings, were not tasty.

While we did enjoy this restaurant you cannot make a reservation here and wait times can be long but they do text you when your table is ready. We were told earlier in the day to put our name in 45 minutes prior to when we want to eat but when I went down later she told me it would be a 75 minute wait. Others, with more people in their party, were told 2 hours. Our wait ended up being 45 minutes. We really enjoyed our meal. My braised beef short rib noodle soup were very flavorful but the first bite of beef was chewy and honestly there was very little beef in it and lots of pieces of fat. I scooped out a handful of fat and put in on a plate and we asked the server if this was normal and he said something about it being fatty because it is a tendon and he then left. Well I am a very good cook at home and do a lot of braising and certainly fat gives the broth a lot of flavor but I would never serve loads of braised fat, I only served the actual braised meat. We did enjoy the meal and the service was acceptable but I expect more from the Wynn. The atmosphere was wonderful but long waits and fatty soup makes me question if I would return or not.

We had dinner here before seeing a show at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Our dinner was fantastic! The portions were not too large, so we could order several items a la carte and not be stuffed. We were very happy with the experience!

visited twice once last year and again this year poor service and advice from waiter totally unreliable on both occasions there is a much better place in the Encore next door better service and food.

Terrific fun restaurant to visit in LV. Erin, the hostess at the front desk could not be nicer. The food is nice, very lively environment.

My wife and I had reservations for Wing Lei but I did not completely read the dress code. It was 100 degrees in Vegas and I had not packed long pants. We got to Wing Lei and were denied entry. I get that there is a code in effect but I was wearing dressy shorts and a Burberry polo. Pretty sure I wasn't looking like a hobo. But, my fault so too bad for us. So, we headed back onto the casino floor and decided to eat at Red 8. It was a great second choice. We did not have a reservation and were advised the wait would be 45 minutes or so. No prob, we went across the way to the Tower Suites bar for a cocktail (excellent service there) to await our text. Exactly 45 minutes later, the phone buzzed and off we went. The restaurant is nice inside with very pretty Chinese themed displays. The food was very good, if not excellent. The tenderloin was delicious. The dumplings were fresh and tasty. The cocktail menu has a nice variety and I enjoyed a couple of mocktails. The service was quick and efficient. We were quite pleased with our visit and would recommend to anyone looking for something a little more upscale than Wazuzu yet less fancy than Wing Lei. Dinner for two: $230 plus tip.

My wife and I had the sliced filet with pepper steak sauce, crispy pokbelly with hoisin sauce dip, and pork fried rice. The food was fabulously cooked and so flavorful, it makes me salivate just writing this. The cost is reasonable. Must try!

This restaurant is inside The Wynn casino and it has a good choice on their menu. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The price is reasonable.

This place is at near the elevator of the Wynn Suite tower , opened 1130am to MN. Decor is modern Asia. Service is good. Menu is extensive with dumplings noodles , etc . I had beef tendon noodle in a broth ( good ) , cold white-chicken leg , ( good ) , roast duck leg ( reheated , not fresh ok) with green tea . Good comfort food

Love Cantonese and this didn’t disappoint. Starters and dim sum were divine and the vermicelli was ace. It’s close to the Tower rooms so quick for me and flavoursome quality Cantonese dishes.

A shared starter of minced chicken in lettuce leaves and two substantial mains of beef with flat noodle and Mixed fried rice. All hot and tasty without breaking the bank. Excellent.

I am from San Francisco, coming to Vegas for a family trip. Dine out along the strip. This is my worst experience, maybe my expectations are too high for Wynn Resort but who doesn’t or Red 8 may not belongs to Wynn...... I don’t know We ordered food and beverage to an Asian young lady. She wasn’t patience to start up with, she once said “ maybe I will come back after you decide” So nowadays a five star dining only need an order taker but not a person come to the table to suggest what you want or explain the menu ? don’t you think everyone come in Red 8 know what is “dim sum”, what is Laksa ??????? Robot should take your job young girl. Food on the table, we start looking for that busy young lady ( tall with a ponytail), busy talking to her co worked at the front entrance at all time. I waved her not because I wanna take away her fun time with her co worker, it’s because my beverage still not served (even my meal is served). Ok not successfully draw her attention. I decided to enjoy my meal with no beverage. She finally check back with us with the check book on her hand. Beverage still not served but probably in our check....... I am not the one who pay but I decided not to get involve. No apologize, bad attitude. Can’t believe it ! In my experience China Town in SF has a better service than this girl in Red 8. My family love the food here, they said service wasn’t like that before. I really don’t know how good it could be before. Maybe this young girl is new and need more training. Isn’t it that hard to find good server out there ??????? Cos during my trip in Vegas, even Buffet at Wynn provide better service. An elegant hotel with a nice Asian design restaurant, offering good food but have bad server. This discourage a lot of business. I feel bad as a customer. Definitely need a lot of improvement!!!!

Nicely designed Asian restaurant off the casino floor at the Wynn in the shadows of the Tower registration and elevators area. The food was good, not great. Flavors all pretty much blended as the same with nothing really stand out. I had the cashew chicken which required a separate order of rice. On the scale of Chinese foods, it falls in the middle. Staff friendly. Prices ok. Vegan options are welcomed.

Not your typical Chinese food experience. Turnaround is pretty quick. They don’t take reservation but you can go an hour before to reserve a table for large groups.

Located in the high end Wynn Resort, Red 8 is a solid Chinese restaurant located on this Strip. The Chinese decor is high end that runs consistent with the Wynn Resort. Our server was on point and attentive to the table's needs throughout our recent business lunch. Waters and beverages were always fresh. They shielded our drinks when pouring to avoid splashes to the table or our food. It's the little things. The kitchen was very quick with getting our dishes to the table. Steamed BBQ Pork Buns: A dims sum staple, and they didn't disappoint here Steamed Shiu Mai: Steamed perfectly and yum. Cantonese Pot Stickers: Pot Sticker fans, these are a safe order here. Salt & Pepper Calamari: This was was a treat. Crispy outside, soft and chewy outside but flavorful af. Salty tasty and I'd order again. Hainanese Chicken Rice: This dish a little misleading. You get a serving of Hainanese Chicken with a small bowl of rice on the side. Is it yum? Yes. But don't expect this to come out like your typical 'chicken fried rice' dish and you're all good. Chilean Sea Bass: Flavorful and a solid sea bass dish. Mongolian Beef: A traditional beef dish and they loaded up some peppers with this if you wanted to spice it up. It doesn't come served spicy, but the option is there. Expect the prices to be on the higher end because of the location. Red 8 can definitely service as a date night for dinner because of the ambiance. I seem to find myself here for business lunches which also works. Overall, Red 8 has been good to me through the visits and I'm sure I'll be back soon. Enjoy!

My wife and I are lucky to go to Las Vegas 4 or 5 times per year and we always stay at Wynn Tower. one of the first places we visit is the Red8 Chines Bistro. sometimes with the "jet-lag" you want a quick service so you can "stay on the go" and the service is everything you want it to be. we have been to this place at least 20 times and everything from a quick meal and drink (in and/out within the hour) or sit and enjoy a long lunch for a couple of hours.... it has everything. if i had to have a "green mile meal" this would be up on the "top of list" of last meals!

Mixed BBQ meat starter and soft shell crab was lovely shared between 4. Pork duck and belly pork. Cooked perfectly. Mains of spicy chicken , prawns with walnuts. Egg fried rice. Soft noodles all delicious. Deserts is chocolate cake and panna cotta martini a great way to finish. $250 for 4 inc wine. Excellent value. Going again tonight. Not as formal as wing lei and our new favourite Chinese to eat whilst in Vegas. ( one for the brits .... they don’t do chips/fries)

Wynn and Encore are our favorites, this first time at RED 8, was really dissapointement. We had a nice table,BUT the waiter forgot we were there! The time for beverge was about 20 minutes, we were left there, had to stand up for service, food was good. But they left us there, when we walked out, said they could not find our room number or name!! After 4 times telling them! Next day Miss yen was kind enough to call and say we would have a refound, we went to the restaurant and the manager said "come back tommorrow, she is not here", finally we got the refound. I will not cgo back to Red 8 !

Food was very good and traditional with American flare. Cucumber appetizer was perfect on a hot day, cool and refreshing. Food was equally as delicious. Great spot nice job Red 8 and Wynn

This is a good restaurant if you’re looking for Asian food and I’d happily return. The service of each dish is incredibly fast but everything is still fresh. Portions are large and with some of the prices are really good value. Very tasty, really well presented, and plenty of meat and fish in the rice made for a memorable meal and with the interior and calm atmosphere I’ll be back!

Have eaten here several times, always getting the pad thai with shrimp and hot and sour soup, so can't tell about the other menu items. But have never had a bad meal, food has always been consistently good, and the service has has be perfect, attentive but not overbearing.

We ordered a variety of food. It was all good, but nothing spectacular. In the process of being seated the first time, I had my stroller with me and my newborn in it. I parked the stroller at the end of the table and the hostess said that was not allowed because it's a fire hazard. She asked if I could hold my baby -- well yes, but since she's a newborn, that leaves me no hands to eat. I prefer to have her in her stroller where she can sleep and be safe. Then she asked if I could just put the carseat on their narrow chair -- no, that's a safety issue and the carseat won't fit, it'll fall off.... Here's the kicker, a person sitting in a chair at that very spot would have come out further into the aisle thqn the stroller. But they choose to seat us at a different table where I could still have the stroller. I'm shocked they've never run in to that scenario before.

I went there tens of times. This trip I went back four times for lunches and dinners, why? Because it's nice, convenient and good. Good quality and perfect presentation. The prices are very reasonnable for a restaurant at the Wynn hotel and you can find all the dishes you would find in much expensive other places serving similar Asian food like dumplings, noodles, and duck variations. I recomment it with no hesitation.

To be honest, Red8 was at the bottom of my dining options list so I left it for my last day during my visit to Vegas, but i was wrong... I was pleasantly surprised during my dining experience here. Im a big fan of Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and the one that I had here has the best one that i have ever tasted. It was a super big bowl and i never thought that i could finish it, but it was so good that i did. I also ordered the Mongolian beef and it was very tasty. The service was very courteous and friendly. If i had stayed for one more day in Vegas, without a doubt I would came back to Red8 just for that Brisket Noodle Soup.

I judge all Chinese restaurants by their Mongolian beef, and this place did well. It’s spicy as is , so you may need to back it down.

Get in early evening as you cannot reserve tables and will have really fresh and tasty Chinese food! The dumplings are really good and you could just eat loads of these and be happy!

A colleague who has lived in China strongly recommended Red 8. There seems to always be a bit of a wait to be seated but not bad. Our server was polite, helpful and attentive. We were only 3 and I think it is best to come with a larger group to try a larger variety of dishes. Everything ordered was tasty. Good but not the best I’ve had. As always a question of taste. I think our table had different wants in the meal that made it a bit more of a Challenge

Excellent food, but our server was mediocre. We enjoyed the food! Our server was not attentive. At the end of our meal, we wanted dessert and he approached us with our bill. When we asked for dessert and extra plates, he brought us coffe cup saucers. The service did not reflect the excellent food experience. I highly recommend. Management needs to keep an eye on their servers.

We ate here twice during our stay at the Wynn. The food was tasty both times. As others have said, your best bet is to go about an hour before you want to eat and leave your name with the hostess. You will get a call or text when your table is ready. The first time we waited almost an hour, the second only about half an hour.

Great food. Great service. I have eaten there 3 times and was very pleased each time. It's not cheap, but you can get out of there for under $100 for two people.

Our Party of Three were looking for a different dining experience for a late lunch/early dinner. With that said, we thought about the RED 8 Asian Restaurant and are very happy that we came upon the RED 8 location. The RED 8 is located very near the Wynn Las Vegas Casinos; and is a very pleasant and colorful facility. Our Server, Hui, was very good and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the Mongolian Beef and General Tsao Chicken; the Pad Thai Shrimp was generally okay. This was a welcomed dining experience.

Directly open to casino - allowed cigarette smoke to come into restaurant. Food was decent, although expensive for what you got

Hostess is just awful, pass the host stand, everything is great. Food is excellent and rapidly served. Drinks are good, managers are visible and addressing issues. Love the food!!

Busy place understandably so . Service prompt, food delicious prices reasonable, Wynn has excellent selection of restaurants all good added to that Wynn is a first class destination with incredible service all round . Well done management.

Everything was very good . I recommend trying the chive dumplings,Out of this world! Kung pao shrimp very good, chicken cashew as well, delicious Leeche martini with fast friendly service . Good lunch option .

Delicious dim sum and noodles! The BBQ pork steamed buns and wok fried noodles with beef made this the perfect post-Vegas show stop.

Very traditional cooking. Service and dinner just average to above average. Lots of great restaurants at the Wynn, will probably go to a different one next time.

The Wynn is easily the best hotel in Vegas and I always eat at Red 8 when I arrive. Every item is hand made by the talented chefs and the service is always attentive and welcoming. My favourite dishes are the Dim Sum and the Mongolian beef. They also do a fantastic mandarin mojito. :)

Ate here with my wife and we shared the Beijing pork noodles and the barbecue platter. The food was tasty, the pork belly and duck on the platter were delicious, the Char-siu was a little dry and tough. We would eat here again although I think for decor and with many of the same menu items wazuzu is a slightly better dining experience although if you are on the Wynn side it is conveniently located. Our waiter was excellent.

We had a lovely meal here while staying at Wynn. You can't reserve a table but we dropped lucky & got a table on our attempt. We had a delicious meal of prawn dim sum, prawn & scallop with noodles & Mongolian beef. Really tasty & big portions. Good price too. Would come again next time we visit.

My sister and I were checking into the Wynn Hotel and our room was not ready at lunch time so the concierge gave us several choices of restaurants and we selected Red 8 as we both like Asian food. Oh my goodness, best lunch ever! I had the honey walnut prawns for $26 and pork bun (cho su bai) for $8, and I believe that there were 3 in the steamer basket. Delicious. So good that we had dinner there, too. Then the next day had lunch there--my sister had the Singapore noodles which I tasted and they were great--I had the Dan Dan noodles which were listed as spicy and maybe they were a bit too spicy for me as, I probably would not order again. We had the honey prawns for dinner again and shared the banana spring roll with coconut ice cream which was a nice treat that neither one of us had ever had. Can't wait to g back and have some more of their delicious food!

Best Chinese food in Vegas although comes with a price tag. Soft shell crab is the best I’ve ever had, along with the chicken satay. Food is plentiful, if not a little too much but you can take it away if you want to. You can’t book a table which can be annoying as you may have a long wait if wanting a peak time. It is worth the wait though.

We were starving and had a good lunch here. I would definitey recommend it. The usual Chinese staples and done nicely.

Red 8 is a very nice, in-hotel restaurant that features traditional Asian cuisine in a casual environment. Their menu is varied, with items from across the region, and they do an excellent job of preparing them. Quick and attentive service and very good food. Definitely recommend.

We’ e visited RED 8 before and always found the food and service to be very good. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case on this visit. Our waiter seemed a bit offish , the food was good however he asked if we were done with our main course , we said yes expecting the offer of coffee or dessert. He presented us with the bill without asking if we were ok or needed anything else. This restaurant isn’t cheap so was very shocked at this attitude.

Excellent restaurant with great dishes and friendly staff. Highly recommend for Asian food. Located in Wynn hotel with easy access from casino floor. Kung Pau chicken is best I have ever had

it serves traditional Asian food good variety to choose from but for me is was rather difficult what to eat the soup i had the taste was just ok and the rice i had said will be spicy was no where near it had to mix chilly to get the taste overall the taste was just about > the service was good no complaints here

Had early dinner here. Food was very good service was excellent. Enjoyed our meal very much been here before and will return Thanks

I expect things to be pricey in Vegas, but you have really crossed into the absurd when a restaurant charges $6 for a bowl of steamed rice, which is typically included in Chinese meals. The food was fine. The decor is quite lovely, but my husband and I are both average-sized and found that the chairs were quite uncomfortable. I just can't with the rice though.

We stopped here for bite on our way out and we were very impressed. Great food and quick service and priced very good. I highly recommend.

This is a casual restaurant inside of the Wynn Casino. The service is very nice and the hostess even remembered us when we arrived a second time. The food is very very good - we tried the chef's selections and were happy with a jumbo shrimp dish, a special fried rice, and a mixed glass noodle creation. If you care to overlook the casino they have a nice quiet table, or otherwise many nicely spaced tables are also available. This restaurant is not as formal as the other Wynn restaurant which is a Michelin 5 star, and its nice to drop in for a delicious meal.

Went here with the husband, service and food were both very good & quick. Very nice decor too except the chairs are uncomfortable & if your bottom is large like mine you can’t sit right back as it digs in.

Returning to Vegas after 10 years, we were delighted to find this restaurant still in business. Excellent quality food and a diverse and interesting menu. Prices weren't bad considering it's Vegas and the Wynn.

We had dinner here after seeing the Le Reve show the show was excellent and so was the dinner service was excellent and the food all finished, the cater very well for vegetarians, I especially enjoyed the jade dumplings and the vegan tofu dish and our waiter even gave us chilli on the side without us asking. Great food and service and cocktails

Arrived to Las Vegas around 10pm. Which sort of sucks since most restaurants or at least decent ones on the Strip close at 10, which is monumentally surprising given the nightlife and casinos. This place was open and given it is in Wynn's Chinese themed hotel the restaurant service Chinese cuisine. But this is not your run of the mill Chinese place that you see on the corner. The restaurant is casual but the quality is that you would expect from a high end place. So we came in about 10 pm. We ordered. Classic Hot & Sour, Miso Soup, Lettuce Wraps, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice to share. I can't say I have had a better quality Chinese cuisine. Unlike the neighborhood places the food was light and not hit your stomach like a ton of bricks but filling enough. I would love to visit the place again.

We stopped in for a small bite before our show at the Wynn. Although delicious, it’s very expensive. My husband and I shared a General Tso chicken, steamed rice( not included) and he had a beer. $43. The food was delicious.

Came here in April 2019 and we had just arrived from the UK and we were all starving hungry and this restaurant ticked all the boxes. Great food in great portion sizes. We had a feast!

This venue has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the staff are wecolming and the food is delicious. We dined on a Tuesday night and it wasn't very busy. The staff are happy to provide advice and explain the dishes. If you like good quality reasonably priced food I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Got seated immediately, between lunch and dinner. Wonderful choices I made. There's something for every taste on the menu. Ordered mongolian beef - melted in my mouth. Service was attentive, friendly, and quick. Meal was a pleasure. Would highly recommend (and have). Return customer. Looking forward to next visit.

I couldn’t leave Las Vegas without Chinese food..... and it was good.. taste was good and presentation as well.. real Asian food! Egg tarts are delicious

We were waiting for our room and went for lunch. Our server was not the best. It took her a long time to come back and take our order. Spring rolls were just OK, not hot (temperature) wise. The pork fried rice that we shared was good. It was $25.00. .So for just under $50.00 with tip, we shared an order of spring rolls and pork fried rice, no beverages or dessert. I prefer Wazuzu to this restaurant. All food in Las Vegas is expensive, ridiculously expensive.

Really surprised how quiet and relaxed this place was, considering it’s proximity to the casino. Really tasty dumplings! Actually rated this quite highly. Good service as everywhere at the Wynn.

The restaurant is located near the entrance to the Wynn Tower Suites. The food was good quality Chinese with a large variety of dishes, including a special menu from Wynn Macau (China). Staff helpful.

Very good. Excellent service. Nice decor. Prices are reasonable for location. Menu is somewhat limited. If you know what you want and they have it you will be pleased.

Very nice ambiance! Service was great. Choices were great. Very nice staff but our waiter didn't know what a lager beer was. I showed him on the bottle lol.

Displace is very nicely put together to food is unique and tasty is a very comfortable place to enjoy one another nice conversation not too loud

After a long flight, and having not eaten most of the day, we stopped in here after checking in to the Wynn. Great choice! We split the mongolian beef, with a side of brown rice, and got an order of cantonese pot stickers. Service was super fast and food was great. Would visit again!

I was here on business and my associate had a late dinner here. The food pretty good. I had not complaints about the food. I have been coming to Las Vegas for 2 years and never experienced something like this. I was having a conversation and the water simply just takes away our plates as we were still eating and drops the check. I made a remark "well I guess I'm done then" and there was no response. I had address the issue with someone at the front desk, but no one had reached out to me to resolve this. I was very embarrassed and I had to apologize to business associate and we left. I will not be coming back here ever again.

Our usual lunch and dining spot when you can get a table rapidly as they do not accept reservation. The food is good and the service perfect. We usually spend time on the betting machines and then have a light meal at this place which is a must when you are in the Wynn hotel

My husband and I were not impressed with this restaurant. Neither the service nor the food were noteworthy. It was also overpriced given the food was nothing special and could be easily ordered (and probably better tasting) at any local neighborhood Chinese spot. We will not be returning. I wish I could at least say the service was good. We noticed the table beside us received care and maintenance throughout the evening while we had to inquire about a glass of water. Never again. I will take my 100 bucks to a better spot.

I have been coming to Red 8 for lunch for years, and the quality of the dishes is very consistent. Unfortunately, we forgot to reserve a table at a restaurant due to our busy schedules. From the bar where we were sitting, we saw tables free at Red 8 and decided to go again but this time for dinner. We chose several dim sum dishes to share, followed by two main dishes that were served in such a way that they were also perfect for sharing. The quality of the dishes was again outstanding! The staff is attentive and helpful.

Best Duck pork and Mongolian beef .Not full of atmosphere but good service and very tasty quality ingredients . Very happy with my choice. Situated in what i think is the best hotel in Vegas

We got a great meal and a great service from our server(Rungwadee). We had Dumplings, Potsticker and Kung Pao chicken. All very tasty.

We were staying at the Wynn and were looking for a convenient place after traveling all day. We arrived at the hotel before our friends and were scouting out a place for dinner. We really like Wazuzu at the Encore last time we were there. Wesaw Red 8 and asked if we could make a reservation. The woman there said no reservations, so same as Wazuzu. We all came back and gave our name. They texted that our table was ready, but no one was at the hostess stand for several minutes when we arrive. Food was good, service fair. We had fried rice and pot stickers. They were both good, very similar to Wazuzu except I did not see egg roll on Red 8's menu. We would return if at the Wynn again.

We went to a late lunch at Red 8, a Chinese noodle and dumpling house located off the Wynn casino. The space is very red and subdued and remarkably quiet for being so close to the casino. The appetizers we had were perfect for a late lunch. All came hot with the various dipping sauces. The chopped chicken and pork with lettuce leaves and hoisin sauce was as good as I have ever had. Our waitress, Dorothy, was attentive and provided great service.

Friendly service, great food, what more could you ask for. Always great for a light lunch when you are looking for something light. Will be back.

The Red 8 restaurant's female manager came to our table to force that you need to order your food now because you are waiting for your friends come in almost one hour. The onsite lady manager serviced on May 11 2024 evening dinner. I so upset about it she is so rude.

Red 8 is an outstanding restaurant. The food at Red 8 is an unforgettable experience that begins with you ordering the incomparable pan fried dumplings. I also suggest the chicken cashew. For dessert you must order the homemade ice cream. Go on and try it! The service was par excellence!

When staying at this hotel, this restaurant is surely a suggested visit. The menu is unique with a twist on Chinese type cuisine that is great to eat.

Nice quiet restaurant in the Wynn casino. Enjoyed our dinner here, General Tsao’s Jidori chicken, scrambled Egg with shrimp and rice. The food was very good and service too. They take all necessary Covid precautions & maintain enough distance between tables. I recommend this restaurant and will go back.

This drop in restaurant at the Wynn was OUTSTANDING. We are real Asian foodies as a family and this restaurant has beaten anything we have eaten in London (and in the short 2 week time frame we were in the States). Outstanding service by Billy - fun and friendly too - the dim sum were simply divine with a great selection for my vegan husband. The noodle dishes were phenomenal - especially the prawn Pad Thai. The restaurant is sophisticated and chic but typically relaxed Asian. Apart from one great dinner in LA two weeks previously, this dinner stood out from them all. YOU MUST GO!

Solid dim sum at high prices with great service and quality. Well there are no deals at the Wynn but of price is no object ..

The food is excellent and superb service. Some of the best Asian food I have ever had so qualify all the way. Pricey, yes but worth it.

Good food and service just off Wynn Casino floor. Convenient and efficient lunch just after arriving to the casino. Limited selection for someone with a shellfish allergych as myself, however, the dishes we did have were very good.

I expected it to be expensive but I also it expected the food to be good. It was lacking in flavor and the chicken in 2 of the dishes tasted like it had been pre-cooked a week ago and left out to dry. The beef in the Mongolian beef dish was actually tender but again, under seasoned.

I was looking for my choices within Wynn, where I stayed and based on other reviews, this seemed like a good one. Indeed it was. By 7PM, I did not have any difficulty getting a seat. The waiter was very honest and helpful in choosing my dish, which was very tasteful and my drink, which matched perfectly with my dish. The food came very fast, which was perfect for me, since I was going to a show later on. Very pleasant place with good food.

i love the wynn hotel. it is easily my favorite hotel in vegas. i decided to try their restaurant red 8. overall the food is very good and not too over priced. the unacceptable problem i had was with the service. i had completed my meal. been delivered my "to go" bag. i was ready to go. but a full half hour later, after my searching high and low for service, the server finally came to my table. that's just unacceptable. very good food can be ruined by very terrible service.

Typical Asian food with good service and good ambiance. If you stay at Wynn you should give it a try.

Second time dining at red 8. Food is very good. Service is exceptional. It's our new go to at the Wynn with no reservation. Thanks

I had dinner with friends, service was good and fast. The meals were pretty good and overall recommended place just be ready for a pricey restaurant

great food, good selection, service exceptional,a must try!!!! in the very best casino in vegas!!! perfection!

We like to eat there as much as possible as we enjoy the food and the Wynn's atmosphere. We know by heart the menu and this has not changed for years now, as we used to live in Las Vegas and this was our "Cafeteria", easy and efficient. Perfect venue, very successful, you have to queue as they do not take reservation.

The decor of this restaurant is stunning. Look up as you enter. Above the check in station is a "Table" set with blue and white Chinese dishes, glass and silverware. Quite unique! We just had two appetizers because we had dinner reservations in Picasso and didn't want to spoil our dinner appetites. I had the crab rangon, which was very bland but had a nice crunch and sauce. My husband ordered the chicken satay. It was very nicely prepared with a wonderful, chunky peanut sauce. My only complaint was that there was smoke drift from the casino since the restaurant is not enclosed.

This place inside the Wynn has really amazing Food! We had to wait for 45 minutes but that’s understandable and they were really sweet. Customer service and ambiance is great. Not my favorite but all really good! Food was amazing! We had the almond walnut shrimp (my favorite), assorted BBQ platter with duck and pork belly (AMAZING!), crab, and shrimp friend rice. The Cabernet I had was really good too I just can’t remember the name. If you are at the Wynn and looking for something delicious where you can still sort of people watch. This is the place!

Great food. Loved the dumpling with ramen. The crispy pig barbecue meat platter was the vest i had. Menu very varied and would highly recommend it,..,

Enjoyable meal with plenty of food. Outstanding service so the wait for a table was worth it. Server was attentive and careful to explain what foods may be exposed to seafood because of allergies. We always try to visit when in Las Vegas.

We really loved the food in Red 8 ! Good Chinese food, nice ambience and great service ! You already start helloing well when you walk in , because of the great smells of of food in the restaurant - ha ha Just try and enjoy. It's really good !!

Easy to grab dinner , very good service and decent food.Crab Rangoon and Edamame were super. Steamed prawn dumpling from dim sum great. Deep fried chicken with chili good but Penang Style flat noodles so-so.

After my wife and I had been taken on a wild journey with Uber unable to find the new location of 'Lotus of Siam', we both ended up at the Venetian, very HANGRY and decided to give this place a whirl. How we were pleasantly surprised! The fried pork dumplings were one of the best I have ever had and my Singapore noodles were lovely and very satisfying. My wife's dishes were lovely too and we both came away very happy! The service was excellent and our 'Chelsea fan' waiter was an absolute legend...even though I support Liverpool! I didn't catch his name but he was brilliant and the restaurant needs to hold on to this guy because he deserves special recognition.

Very good food and good service, I think place is open 24hrs, located right next to Wynn casino, prices not cheap but reasonable......
The food is so awesome.
The food here is amazing. They have a large selection and great food. We had several dishes and everything was perfect.
