I was craving seafood so really wanted to try red lobster. our starter of stuffed mushroom was ok but nothing to write home about. my main course as a big combo of loads of seafood: prawn 2 ways, crab and lobster. only the prawns (especially the ones in batter) were disappointing. the Lobster was ok but the crab was definitely the highlight of my plate. the other two guests has a mix of prawns and tacos. although they were nice, they weren't as nice as expected. the cocktails though were the best I've had in the states! So the following night, we went back to celebrate our engagement! (just to the bar!)

It was a Saturday night, so they were somewhat busy. We sat in the bar because we did not want to wait twenty minutes for a seat in the dining room. The quality of the food was excellent. Not all red lobster restaurants are created equally. This restaurant rates close to the top of all of the red lobster restaurants that I visited.

This was our second visit and definitely our last. There were 3 tables occupied when we got there at 5:30 and after 1 20 minute wait, my wife went to the host at the front door and asked for a waiter. Once the kid got to our table (10 more minutes) I ordered a bowl of chowder and my wife ordered a cup of potato soup. I got a cup of soup (not a bowl) and showed the waiter it had a hair in it but he made no effort to do anything for me. My wife's soup was so over cooked and thick it may not have spilled. After our wine and the lobster/seafood dips, we decided not to order a dinner. We did talk to two managers bot w/o satisfaction. This is not at all like the good Red Lobsters in Houston and elsewhere.

We went the the walzem location in San Antonio TX. We are regular customers at this location and Ronnee Porciello is our waitress. She always has a smile and a hug when we come in. She makes sure we are taken care of with the most professional service. The food is always on point. That's why we're regulars!!

Easygoing as well as welcoming. Servers well versed on the menu. Plentiful seafood choices as well as non seafood choices. Fast service and very attentive.

The only reason we had dinner here was because my mother insisted for her birthday. I felt as though, everything was over priced and even though our waiter was polite and thorough, you do NOT get what you pay for. Many things here are what I call filler and I would rather do a Cheddars than here again. Pass if ya can.

We never miss endless shrimp. We were traveling and decided to treat the kids to a nice restaurant. We were seated quickly. The wait staff was very attentive. We had the endless shrimp and we were not disappointed. The shrimp scampi is my favorite, I love the garlic butter. As usual I ate to much. They took the coconut shrimp off of the choices but our server brought a side of the sweet coconut sauce. It was a nice evening out.

I prefer locally owned establishments however, we ate here with friends who chose the location! Two of our foursome build our own meal which is a great feature on the menu allowing you to pick from several alternatives. My wife had a platter featuring crab! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere, the service and the total experience. For a chain, Red Lobster does it right, training their staff, preparing the food, and making the a meal into a delight outing!

I am impossible to please. The quality doesn't even have to be great, but service MUST be stellar...Carol fit the bill... she's ahead of the curve...be sure to ask for her when visit this location. Shout out to the GM who also made me feel really special...

This review is for the 17415 281 North location. For some reason it was not listed with Tripadvisor... Seven of us had a nice dinner at this location. A young man named Austin was our principal server and he was very knowledgeable! The food and the service was excellent! Most of the guests only had water and only a few had alcoholic beverages and we had no desserts but the bill (w standard tip) still came to about $260.00... Pretty pricey but I admit, the service and food was surprisingly good.

I went to attend a seminar and have lunch. We had a preset menu that appeared to be different from what you'd find on the menu. I had fish-shrimp-popcorn shrimp combination and my wife had a sirloin steak... The meals were pretty good. What was ourstanding and needs to be mentioned is the server we had. Shannon served the whole group by herself and she was an absolute professional!

I was visiting San Antonio with my family and went for a good shopping day an San Marcos Premium Outlets. On our way back and to close a greay day, Red Lobster did not let me down. Great service and delicious dishes. I had the Ultimate Feast, I struggled to finish it as it is very complete and generous. My wife had the lobster tacos and she was really pleased. A huge strawberry margarita was a perfect pairing. Don't give it a second thought. Come to Red Lobster.

Visited on on Tuesday evening, the manager and service were very good. Our waitress took all the necessary steps to ensure a very positive experience for all.

Just attended a Optimist's Club meeting in the "back room". This room is perfect for a group of 30 or more! It is so hard to find enclosed yet enjoyable space in restaurants for groups and business meetings. I was very happy with the staffing, full bar service, separate checks, and space for an excellent dinner, mingling, and the ability to hear our speaker! I highly recommend this location for dinner meetings and group events. The staff went out of the way to make this event enjoyable for our club members and guest.

Had Walt's shrimp + Lobsterfest Surf + Sirloin. Would not recommend ordering a steak other than a steakhouse but the seafood was just right. Service was great even though the place was packed. Raw oysters were good size and tasted pretty fresh. Was impressed they had Shock Top on draft.

My wife had Steak and Lobster and i had salmon. Both of the meals were excellent. My salmon had a kind Cajun flavor and was very tasty. Decent service. Overall, we had a nice dinner. (It was at 3 PM and there were not many people in the restaurant consequently we had zero wait, etc.)

We had the grilled tilapia and Walts fried shrimp. Food and service was great.....biscuits hot and salad fresh! Easy on and off Interstate 35. They have a nice bar but with a large selection of drinks. We recommend this restaurant if you're on the east side of San Antonio.

This was located next to the hotel. Great atmosphere and good service. We had drinks and a great meal.

For a seafood place Red Lobster has an excellent recipe for margaritas. We order the one that has the Grand Marnier on the side. We pour the grand marnier into the margarita and it is sooooo good. Of course the seafood is delicious. Service is very good and we go for the trout and lobster.

We had a very good meal at this Red Lobster. The trout was prepared perfectly, though the broccoli was a bit overcooked. Our waitress, Shaina, was terrific. She checked on us frequently, kept our glasses filled with water, and was prompt in keeping us informed on our orders. While normally not frequenting these types of restaurants, the food was good.

Had not been to a Red Lobster in ages so off I went to get a good seafood dinner. I really wanted some of their rolls also...but they just did not taste like they use to! The fried shrimp I had looked and tasted of frozen...a little rubbery and no flavor. The best thing was the service...Ashley was very friendly, attentive and efficient.

With this chain, you know what you are fo by to get... well served food plates, nice atmosphere and good flavors for sea food at adequate prices... biscuits continue to deliver... this time I had ,the blackened catfish, and was great, and they had some new dishes in the menu, tried the dragon broccolis, Very good as well... everyone was happy with their dishes... worth the visit

My 7 year old had been begging to eat at Red Lobster for about a month.....we were in San Antonio for a doctors appointment and found a red lobster along the way. The service was wonderful even though the waitress admitted that it was her first day. We were treated great and she complemented my children on their manners and good behavior.

Everything about this location and meal was great. Service was impressive. Would come back in again! This was a great experience!

I was not impressed at all with the food,Me and my wife ordered a seafood meny each. We both lobster tails was small and overcooked and on top of that not hot like out would if coming out of the kitchen at once. shrimps had a better taste and consistency not hot food. Service was barely acceptable, my my had to wait to get her ice tea refilled, so I would say service wasn't very attentive. The only thing i found pleasing was the atmosphere and clean table. Will I spend seventy bucks going there again? Not a chance. there are some many better options.

we had stuffed lobster, mashed potatos, captains platter, grilled salmon with the soy glaze and it was on the side and delish. All drinks were good, all salads were good, all baked potatos were good.

As usual, good food & great service. Best of all, they asked if we were veterans. Since we both are, we each received a free full-size appetizer. And the hostess & server both thanked us for our service.

We had a great experience here. We were seated immediately and our food came out quickly as well as our appetizers and drinks. Love their shrimp alfredo. Waitress was wonderful and serious props to Red Lobster for their take out containers. The are microwavable and I love reheating food from there in our hotel room. Wonderful place.

We had Ashley as a waitress and she was totally wonderful. Very friendly and very alert to our needs.We will be sure to ask for Ashley when we return to this Red Lobster. Thank you Ashley for being so great!! The food was terrific.

Went for the snow crab legs and was very disappointed. They were so salty, almost inedible. Not very fresh either. Appetizer was good - stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail and coconut shrimp. As always the biscuits. YUM!

Chain restaurants are like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. Our past two trips in the past couple of weeks to this ole venerable "red lob" have been quite good, very good in fact. Service has been above average and the food quality even better. I'm actually surprised by this. Had the Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon and loved it. The wife had the wood-grilled langostino lobster tacos and was very satisfied. Based on the past two trips, I recommend this one.

This Red Lobster is located in a shopping center area right on the highway 35 with a lot of different eating places as well. They have a variety of food options from seafood to Italian to burgers etc. Service was very good. I just wish their bar was a little bigger. Overall great service with great food options.

Hello. So after church we decided to go to Red Lobster for a lunch instead of the usual breakfast. Cost was $48.23 excluding tip for our lunch which included 2 coffees ($2.29 each), Clam Chowder Cup ($4.99), Tilapia Fish Tacos, and Lobster Shrimp Salmon dish ($25.99). My tacos tasted well and the ranch jalepeno sauce is great! However, the wife was displeased with the salt content on the lobster tail. It was only the tail, everything else was on par for this chain. It was a quiet setting in the back of the restaurant and we would eat there again. My only complaint is because of diet, I cannot eat salad and when substituting with soup they charged. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year! RetiredArmyRANGER

The family and myself went for lunch at the walzem location last week and had a great experience. Ronnee Porciello was our host and was absolutely fantastic. She is very attentive and on top of her game. I would recommend her anytime and ask for her when we go

service was slow, food was kind of ok,, however, the shrimp was not fresh, appeared to be frozen too long, and was overcooked

My husband and I went to red lobster to use a gift certificate that we had obtained . I am a good cook, but honestly the food was just okay, and I could have made better at home. As usual , the Cheddar Bay Biscuits and the brownie with ice cream were the best part of the meal. The ad-on lobster tail that I had ordered had to be sent back due to the extreme saltiness . I gained 3 pounds overnight from all the sodium! The shrimp are okay but lacked good seasoning . The chowder was nondescript. The calamari and green pepper appetizer that we had tasted mostly of the breading . The salads were bland and lacked pizzazz . I have had better experiences at other Red Lobsters previously . Our waiter Michael was very, very good but the service was somewhat slow .

We planned to go out for Mexican food, but the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Mondays, so decided on the Red Lobster and it was a GREAT choice. 2 had the fish and chips, 1 had the shrimp Cesars salad and it was not quite up to par, and I had the endless shrimp and it was VERY good, but i did not pig out like I planned to, since the first plate was a VERY large portion, so I ony had one extra skewer which was the teriyaki shrimp and it was excellent. If I lived in San Antonio, I would definitely go back.

Have not been to a Red Lobster that has disappointed and this one was a good as the one's back home. Waitress was wonderful. Love their rolls!

This restaurant its just my favorite seafood place, the suggested combo dishes are always full of flavor and well served, the desserts are delicious like everything there 😊 you just need to go and try it. I go everytime that I visited the United States

We were told that this might be a bit "conventional"... I suppose it was meant to be boring. It was anything but conventional at all. Fantastic food, great choice and very high quality for the price. Such a pleasant change from the TexMex food we had suffered for nearly a week before we found the Red Lobster. Great steaks! Excellent service. Easy to find, lots of parking, very clean. Highly recommended.

We called during 'Lobster Fest' when there were extra lobster items on the menu so we had to try some. Very good and a reasonable price too. Service as usual excellent and the biscuits.... Words fail us (in a good, very good way).

I usually like Red Lobster. We ate there last night. The clam chowder was very good, the salad fresh tasting. The biscuits were a little drier than usual. They should serve the with butter. We had fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, and I added King Crab to my order as well. The fried shrimp were fine, the coconut shrimp, one of my favorites, a little overcooked. But the king crab legs, which we ate a billion times while living in Alaska, were so disappointing. They were boiled so they tasted wet and like salt water. The shells were so soft from being wet or boiled or whatever that I couldn't even crack them open with the tools. So disappointed because I love crab.

Took my wife to Eat at Red Lobster for her Birthday she thought she would enjoy the Crab Fest but it not only was a disappointment but I think that she has decided that Red Lobster is no longer her favorite restaurant. While the service was good the food just did not hit the quality note that we expect not being lovers of crab legs too much work for to little reward the selection was just not really a selection at all they do have a very good bread and crab appetizer that is served hot and is very light it was the high point of the meal besides the cheese biscuits if you want to go celebrate a special occasion please do your self a favor find somewhere else to go or at least don't go for the Crab Fest.

Okay, I think that Red Lobster is not as good as it use to be. Our last two meals were plain and uninspiring. The service is usually very good and the waitstaff is accommodating. The biscuits are delicious. Skip the specialty drinks as I don't think that the bartenders know how to mix any drink. Stick to the beer. Skip the calamari appetizer. It is mostly onions and peppers. We didn't have more than 5 pieces of calamari. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff did sing happy birthday and offered a free small dessert and candle. Very nicely done.

Red Lobster always does a great job no matter where we go. Service was excellent, food was great and the atmosphere is very nice.

Pretty good eats as usual for a Red Lobster. Had the shrimp linguini and the wife enjoyed a lobster pizza. The service was very good and the desert was very good as well.

Had a great dinner with my love both ordered shrimp and lobster. We love coming to red lobster for romantic dinner because it's so clean.

Had the clam chowder and shrimp salad. The tomatoes had a bad taste and the chowder was very thin and runny. would not recommend those items to anyone.

Clean kind fast service. Great food and close to airport for those staying by the airport. Great biscuits and awesome crab legs. Reasonably priced

We waited for nearly two hours just to be seated. They sat down next to table with a party going on. Most of the adults were well intoxicated and extreme loud and noisy. The servers could not get to our table without asking the revelers to move closer to their table. The food was fair. The salad was a bowl of lettuce not a salad.

We were nicely greeted and gave a vibrating alarm. It was a wait for 6, at about 50 minutes. We were sat, and given the famous cheddar biscuits, which were great as usual. Service is extremely friendly. It's almost like you know them personally. The food was great (I had the wood grilled hamburger) and the apple crostata was also great. Overall, a great restaurant and con ineptly located next to two hotels. Me and half my family actually walked their from the hotel. Great place! 👍

This branch of Red Lobster is very clean. The servers are pleasant, although they're a bit on the slow side. A nice location for a fast, yummy lunch. Order off the lunch menu for good value prices.

We had a variety off their menu. And "all" of the menu was great. The food was packaged by our server at the table side. With the teamwork of all the workers it made our family outting worth the stop!
