Love Sadelles. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is so cute. You are packed in there like sardines, it’s very cramped. The food is quite expensive, but worth it to me for the experience. If you are looking for privacy, this is not the place. We ended up chatting with the table next to us because we were basically sitting with them anyway. I have been twice and will still come back as the food is worth it. Just be prepared for a hefty bill and a tight squeeze!

Excellent place and atmosphere. I go there each time I am in town. Bagels, lox, matzo soup. Love it.

Where they likely succeed in gifting overrated and overpriced dining experiences – particularly to the brunch/lunch seeking Broadway attendees – the failure to provide riveting taste dimension in a salad recommended as their signature best, is what’s most disappointing, The service is wonderfully efficient, save for the faux pas of not remembering to pose necessary questions accompanying an order, such as tea. Come here for an alcoholic lunch, and savor the factory rustic interior design, while snuggled close to a stranger sitting nigh alongside the cramped tables.

Not your typical NY bagel experience, it was an elegant twist on a NY tradition. I have loved many bagels in the city but this is the designer bagel brand. Wonderful service, true focus on all the elements of the experience. Loved the delicate slices of salmon, the light whipped texture of the cream cheese. The tomatoes were beautiful, and the capers and cucumbers were the perfect compliment to the everything bagel. Perfectly unique NY bagel experience!

We came for a Sunday brunch. The place is beautiful. The bakery is right at the center of the restaurant and the bagels are made in front of the guests. The bagels, cured salmon and whitefish were all excellent

A place that has everything: cozy atmosphere and careful decoration to the detail, ideal to enjoy calmly. Very good and great food presented. Bagels are a real treat, and the best part is that you can see how they are prepared instantly, impressive! The waiters friendly, attentive and very professional. A place you always want to go back to. Highly recommended!

Extremely cozy place (a bit more of room between tables would be appreciated) with an unique breakfast style offer for the first half of the day (it closes at 2). Combination of one of their three soups followed by their tuna melt, cheese sandwich or salmon tower is great. Try the Grimm beers they have!

The food is average but the ambiance is great! Yes, they make their own bagels in a clear sided "box" in the middle of the restaurant. Fun to watch, but the bagels are not that good. Yes, they hand cut their lox. Fun to watch. Their serving size is skimpy for the price. Home made blintzes sounded terrific but 3 crepes arrived with a thin layer of cheese inside. The blintzes were flat and actually looked unappealing.

From the guys that brought us Carbone, ZZ’s and Torrisi’s, I had to try Sadelle’s and knew I’d be in good hands. It. Was. Perfect. Their smoked fish were the all stars but surprisingly it was the supporting players that took over for me. The club sandwich, eggs Benedict, pigs in a blanket, all well seasoned and perfectly tasty. It was really light and airy in the restaurant with a great vibe throughout. Service was outstanding and not intrusive. Can’t wait to go back.

The best breakfast in my last trip to NY, was so good that I returned the next following 2 days only to have breakfast here. Usually crouded, services could be better but food makes it worthwhile

WARNING FOOD SAFETY ISSUE!!!! Absolutely devastated to have to write this review, as I had such high hopes for this restaurant after hearing such good things. Myself and my boyfriend visited Sadelle's last week on our holiday from the UK. We both ordered salads, which came looking amazing and began to eat. I ordered a Beverly salad which came with chicken. I had eaten around a quarter of the salad when I realised the texture of the chicken was a bit strange. On closer inspection, to my horror I discovered the chicken was RAW. Immediately I was disgusted that a restaurant of this reputation not only put me in this dangerous predicament, but also that they would be so careless to even allow this food to leave the kitchen to begin with. They had obviously not checked the quality of their food before serving it to their customers. In their defence, as soon as we were in discussion with the manager she was extremely apologetic and gave us her card to be in touch with later. Extremely luckily, I did not become ill after this experience, but the risk of doing so after I realised what had happened was extremely distressing and ruined the rest of our day. I contacted the manager a couple of days later to update her on the situation, and very disappointingly, she did not even bother to reply. This makes me feel as though she gave me the card to pacify me and that they don't actually care if I got ill or not. In summary, as sad as I am to say this, please do not eat here as I would hate for anyone else to go through what I went through. Any sort of food safety issue is a massive problem, but especially when it is something as dangerous as raw chicken. Although I understand that mistakes happen, this is too big of one and something that sadly the management doesn't seem to further care about.

Yes, the lox is expensive. Yes, the bagels are on the small side. But the food is delicious, the service fabulous, the atmosphere totally cool. Reservations a must!! Try the blintzes. Three in an order. Small, but rich, so you may want to share them! SO yummy. Not a place I'd go every weekend, but fun for a little brunch adventure with friends!

Popped in for a takeout gluten free bagel. Service really slow - 20mins to have bagel made up even though only two order in front of me. Opted for house salmon & cream cheese. There was literally one thin slice of salmon & was it was $23.75 for one tiny gluten free bagel to go (gf bagels about 1/3 smaller & 50% more expensive) On top of that they wouldn’t take cash, so had to used card, therefore international charge, so pretty much £20! Taste was good but price & experience very disappointing.

This restaurant had me at the plated tower with bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a plate of fixings. That alone was enough to convince me this restaurant was something special. But then I actually tried everything and was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the food, as well as the portions for the price. The service was good, nothing so amazing that I have to write about it, but it didn't detract or hinder the experience. The ambiance was great, both cozy and traditional with a fresh modern vibe. I definitely appreciated the blue Le Creuset mugs and tableware. We ordered the smoked salmon tower to share, which had excellent lox, a tasty plain bagel with very light fluffy cream cheese, and a plate with sliced tomatoes, onions, capers and dill. The perfect set up for a the ultimate Jewish bagel experience. My friend got the barley and mushroom soup which was pureed and honestly amazing. If visiting on a cooler day and not in the dead of summer, I highly recommend the soup. I ordered a salad that came with turkey, beets and cheddar. It was not only a delicious salad but extremely generous in portions. There was so much cheddar I actually had to take some out. It;s definitely a large salad but the flavours were great together and I appreciated that you get to dress it yourself. The only thing that was not amazing here was the babka. Skip dessert here - you don't need it when you have bagels to snack on anyway. This is now officially on my list of favourite restaurants in New York.

If you want an excellent option for late lunch before a theater night, this restaurant is a great option. Bagels and salmon are the best that can be eaten in the United States. They also serve very good cocktails with a touch of this exclusive restaurant expert in breakfast and brunch. The bad thing about the experience was the service. It took an hour to serve us Bagel with salmon !!!!! I must note that they apologized and gave us a cocktail at no cost.

It’s confusing as to how this place is so popular. The quality of the food is okay, nothing special, service is adequate and the ambiance is alright. The only thing extraordinary about this restaurant are the prices and perhaps the hype around it. Definitely not worth the absurd wait to get in.

Amazing NYC breakfast. Their lox is amazing. My son ordered the French toast which was also fantastic. Super tough to get a table. Sometimes your best bet is to order for pick up through a food delivery app.

We made a reservation before our trip to NY. When we arrived at 1.30pm the restaurant was quite full. Seeing as it was our first time here we knew we had to try the Sadelle tower. Paper thin sliced house smoked salmon which was more like gravlax and really delicious. Fresh cucumber slices, tomatoes and capers. We opted to have avocado which was an additional cost . We also went for the most popular bagel the everything. It did not disappoint. Was warm and a perfect size not too big and not too small and not too doughy and heavy. Super flavourful too. We went with one serve of salmon which comes with one bagel and we found it to be enough for the two of us. We ordered another bagel and it was an additional $3.00 for one bagel. We ordered one glass of orange juice which was really good. The salmon alone is $24!whilst it is delicious the slices are paper thin . We enjoyed our lunch we just found it overpriced and paying $US 54 for two bagels with salmon we found was rather ridiculous, especially coming from Canada . But for the experience and a delicious treat it was lovely.

非常にフラストレーションを感じました。以下英語で書きます。ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー When I ordered a beer, a stuff asked me if I needed water. The water price was no listed in the menu, I thought it would was free. After all, the beer cost usd8 and the water was usd10, I felt as if I was cheated. I should've asked the water price, but shouldn't they list on the menu? Another stuff brought the check and she stood there until I chose the tip, and the tip price started from 20%. I didn't eat foods so I have no comments on that, but I thought the restaurant with such an attitude doesn't last long.

We had our brunch on a Monday morning, which explains why Sadelle's wasn't stuffed to the rafters, as I hear it is on weekends. No wonder. The bagels made on the premises in a glassed-in special area are the best I have ever tasted. Now I know why people talk about New York bagels as in a class by themselves. I wisely chose the simple salt and pepper bagel. It comes perfectly toasted on a plate w/ lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, lemons and capers. The main filling then comes on a tiered tower, which in our case was a combination of delicate smoked salmon slices with chives or tarragon. The tubs of cream cheese are plain or with chives. Once the bagel half is loaded, the freshness, springiness, and succulence are not to be believed. The busy wait staff can be counted to replenish the veggie accoutrements. The one dissenter in our crowd had french toast, which was thick, crusty, light but devastating. I don't even remember the cost of the brunch, but it was worth every cent.

We visited Sadelle’s our first time in NYC 18 months ago and when we knew we were returning it was the first thing we booked to experience their French toast again, It didn’t disappoint. The salmon was stunning, the cream cheese lovely but the star of the show must be the French Toast. The best I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. The service is exemplary and the setting lovely. It’s not a cheap breakfast but for quality and ambience we didn’t feel it was pricey either for the experience. Well worth a visit

We made a late lunch reservation just a few hours ahead on a weekday. We ordered two everything 2.0 bagels ( everything + fennel) plus the house salmon and whitefish salad. It was pricey but well worth it. The fish was delicious and plentiful. The whitefish salad had big chunks of fish. We didn't see onions on the menu, but saw the waiter bring it to some other folks. We wished we had known it was an option. Service was great and we enjoyed watching the bagels being made. We ended up with too much food and would probably do just salmon and 2 bagels next time.

I went there for a brunch and really liked the place! The smoked salmon is very good and I really enjoyed their bagels and cream cheese. The place looks nice too. This place is very busy!

Came here for the bagels and kept it simple. Many options on the menu but great if you just want to go for bagels, smoked salmon, and cream cheese !

The food is plentiful and yes, it will be on the pricey side but its fresh and worth it. You will definitely walk out of Sadelle's stuffed, but the bagels, lox, eggs and potatoes are excellent. You can make reservations, or put your name down and walk around the many shops in SoHo. Sadelle's is a must when you are in the area for breakfast or brunch.

Can you say Breakfast Nirvana???? There is everything right and nothing wrong with Sadelle’s. Even with a small line there was only friendly smiles and the aim to accommodate. Seating is squishy but that makes for fun conversations with neighbours. We even handed over one of our sticky buns! Sharing is caring here and the bagels are so so fresh. Watching them be made is such fun. Order everything and everything and then go for a walk! Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food and travel fun

This property is an almost obligatory stop for those who consult the main tourist guides of the city. With a clientele that combines tourists with well-to-do neighborhood neighbors, it offers a dining experience that goes beyond typical American brunch. From the outset, the elegance of the space stands out: tables arranged with every detail and impeccable service from the first contact, attentive and professional, but always discreet. The atmosphere is refined, but without excesses, with a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to enjoy calmly. At the entrance, a counter displays the fresh produce of the day, where a cook cuts the smoked salmon with great precision as diners request it. It is a clear demonstration of the product’s prominence and respect for detail. The menu is extensive and varied, with proposals ranging from the most classic to the most elaborate. On this visit, we were advised and opted for Benedict eggs, a classic egg sandwich and an assortment of smoked salmon with tomato salad and bagel. All dishes stand out for a careful presentation and an excellent cooking point. The eggs, with a soft and tasty hollandaise sauce, are especially successful. The sandwich, well balanced and satisfying, and the salmon, very fresh, pair perfectly with salad and bread, bringing a more delicate and refined touch to a New York brunch classic. The prices, as expected, are in line with the location and overall level of service and quality. It is not a local for those looking for an economic option, but for those who value a complete dining experience.

This is such a delicious brunch spot in NYC - the line and hype is totally worth it. Amazing gluten free everything bagels.

Top of my list when we return to New York for sure!! You need to book as the restaurant is so busy and buzzing. The house salmon that is freshly cut with homemade bagels was amazing. My sons had an omelette with chola and the other had eggs benedict with avocado. All was so fresh, so yummy and prob for me one of our best meals in NYC. Staff so friendly and helpful. Yes slightly expensive but worth every penny! Would highly recommend a visit

Sadelle’s is a beautiful place. Great decor and ambiance. Friendly and quick staff. Amazing bagels and all types of smoked fish. New York prices...

Good atmosphere, great service. Blueberry pancakes were excellent, and the bagels were awesome. Overall great breakfast!

Possibly the best brunch spot in Manhattan. This place is phenomenal. The high ceilings and open floor plan make the room feel vast. The cocktails are strong, and the food is delicious. Don’t miss the fried chicken sandwich—whatever sauce they use is incredible. All three of us ordered it and loved it. I need to come back ASAP to try more of the menu. I have a feeling everything is amazing.

The coffee and food here were excellent. I had the egg breakfast which was egg any style, potatos and a bagel. Easily enough food for 2 people. Free coffee refills and great atmosphere.

This is our favorite spot in the city for a great brunch. The scrambled eggs are maybe the best I ever had. The waitress told me the secret is cream cheese goes into the eggs. The bacon always crisp, the potatoes the best, and of course we washed it all down with some great Mimosa's. On other occasions, we had the amazing Nova the the bagels are excellent as well. Reserve in advance and have an amazing late morning dining experience.

I loved that place. We went for a late breakfast with my husband and the salmon bagel is a must try. The presentation, the taste of the salmon and the homemade cream cheese... it was delicious. A bit pricey however.

After a friend visited, we just had to go there during our trip to NYC. It was well worth it. While lots of folk waited outside for a table to become available, we sat there like fat little cats eating our French Toast! Wow! It was well worth the 3,450 mile trip! You must go there!

Fun, premium experience with good brunch menu and a well-dressed crowd. The restaurant has a nice, open space loft-like space. The salmon was extraordinary! The only criticism: such a place should have more / nicer restrooms!

The bagels with salmon are highly recommended. the prices are rather high. The price of coffee - $ 6 each - is far too high for regular filter coffee. Would highly recommend to offer also espresso coffe.

My friend took me to sadelles 3 months ago I really enjoyed the food So I came back today everything was perfect amazing food good atmosphere nice waitress I will come back asap

Loved Sadelles. The ambience, the menu selection and the quality of the food is excellent. Top spot for breakfast in NYC!

Visited mid week and early for brunch so we were able to get a table without a reservation which was great. Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. Dined with a friend and we both ordered french toast with bacon. Portions are huge! French toast was delicious but we definitely could have managed with just one portion. Had a lovely mimosa also ( not sure if OJ was fresh though, which it should be for the price.) This is a pricey place to eat but worth it as the food is good and the decor is gorgeous. We split the bill and I paid my share on my credit card as they don't take cash. However, a few days later the restaurant changed the amount charged to my card without my permission or signature for a much higher and incorrect amount. I had screenshots from my account showing the first correct charge and a few days later the incorrect charge. I emailed the group with these and it was passed on to the AM of the restaurant. She replied to say that it would be looked into and since then I have heard nothing back and she has ignored follow up emails. I have held off writing this review to allow them time to come back to me but have heard nothing - it has been 4 days since my last email. I have since contacted the credit card fraud team at my bank. So although I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here I can't recommend it given this bad customer service experience and would never visit again. If you do eat here, keep your receipt and check your bank account carefully.

Best breakfast in NYC. French toast to die for. BUT MEAN MANAGEMENT. I am 76 years old and handicapped. I had a reservation for nine AM this morning for six people. I got there at 840. They made me sit outside in the cold. WTF? I was so angry but I didn’t open my big mouth because it’s such a hard reservation. But this is no way to make friends. There’s great food all over this town and this is not a sustainable way to treat people let alone a senior with a cane. Shame on them. Also to reach them is impossible. They only respond to emails

We got the coveted brunch reservation for 8 people at noon on a Sunday. Still needed to wait 30 minutes in a crowded space on a cold January day. Finally got seated and went "family style" and shared a tower with smoked salmon, Scottish salmon, whitefish and smoked salmon salads. We doubled up on the two sliced salmons, chose to forego the sable and sturgeon. Beautifully presented on a triple tower with tomatoes, cues, onions, capers. Service was very slow, albeit friendly, and it took about 10 minutes after the fish was served to get bagels. Took another 25 min to receive more bagels. Maybe it's a sign we should go gluten free? Also had the LEO lox eggs onion which was very good, and the French toast- well received and very fluffy, almost cake like, , along with two orders of blintzes and sticky buns. Sticky buns were small and disappointing. Not sure what the hype was with them and a costly $16! Coffee was meh. The slow service was especially frustrating, including having to ask numerous times for the bagels, water refills, and not getting enough cream cheese. Reason for four stars is the high quality hand sliced salmon, on par with Russ. Not rushing back, though.

Busy place! I recommend making a reservation. We did not have one, but on a Thursday morning the wait was under 30 minutes. The bagels were DELICIOUS - we had the everything and everything 2.0. And they brought us two regular everything bagels at first and brought us a third everything 2.0 for no charge for their mistake. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were good as well. We ordered the overpriced "famous" sticky buns but I have had much better. Do not waste the $15-18 on three measly sticky buns. Too salty and not enough sticky!

Awesome service, awesome food. Go for the bagels with chive cream cheese, and smoked salmon, capers etc etc. Or the Salmon Eggs Benedictine... Add the Tuna salad is just s great delicious plate of yummy tuna mix... Do it!

We were a party of six. Arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately seated. The wait staff were were quickly by with water and menus. Coffee came quickly and was replenished efficiently. The fish tower was superb as were the bagels and cinnamon rolls. Great food. Great service.

We visited for weekend brunch without a reservation, arriving early and sitting on the communal long table. The service was professional and efficient (not particularly chatty). This is a well oiled machine which has been popular for a long time. Our college aged son had been before and raved about the French Toast which he ordered again. When we saw the size of the portion (like a brick) we understood the appeal to a big eater. I had the blueberry pancakes which were nice (but not better than other good establishments) and my husband had the smoked salmon tower which is a showpiece. This is not the place for espresso coffee, it offers more traditional american coffee. It was a pleasant brunch and worth visiting once.

Had breakfast here. The food and drinks were great (and portions were generous), but the prices were a bit on the higher side. It’s a very popular place, so the restaurant was packed and some people had to wait for a table. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff.

With known success concept regarding New York's offering for a classic Jewish deli.If you look a bit behind the most visible one, you notice that it is a styled scene. If you are a guest without a reservation, you will notice a certain confused organization. The tables near the entrance are exposed to the weather outside. Enervering narrow tables, your table neighbors are almost in your lap.Very surprised that Sadelle,s do not use the balcony when the guest pressure is so large.Prices are far from harmonized with what is offered.Correct but a little uninterested serving staff.Simple dishes to prepare, however, taste excellent

The eggs benedict was good but the french toast was not. We had to wait for around 45 minutes to find a table to have brunch on saturday. The place is so busy and has cool vibes!

We had bagels, pancakes and eggs Benedict. All was delicious. They don’t serve cappuccino but coffee was good. Prices are too high. 8$ for an avocado as a side.

We had a disappointing experience here. We have been here before and enjoyed it. Unfortunately this time it something had changed and not on the good side. The place was busy, seems over crowded. We were seated and had to wait for over 10 minutes for a server to come. We should have realized that it was sign of the upcoming disappointing experience. Every thing took too much time, they got our order wrong and no one really cared an d no one to talk too.

Fell in love with this restaurant! Amazing food and great service:) Will definitely come back next time I’m in NY.

Visiting SOHO is always a great time when in NYC, and if you are there, having brunch at Sadelle’s is the way to start the day! Bagels are so good and the pancakes are amazing. Love the atmosphere. Staff is good. Great iconic spot

When you get beyond the difficulty in making a reservation at Sadelle’s (30 days in advance) be careful doing so because it’s impossible to change it! I thought I made a reservation for 3 but it was for 2 and I couldn’t change it! The food is wonderful. The servers are lovely but harried. The food was excellent but it was brought at once which made eating it near impossible because the table was so small and the forgot the spoons for the soup! Which was delicious (albeit not hot) once we finally got the spoons! The coffee is mediocre and they have no espresso beverages. Stick to water or ice tea. The bagels are small but nice, chewy ours were toasted although we hadn’t asked for hat be toasted. I prefer that my bagel not be toasted if it’s fresh. The smoked salmon is divine, sliced expertly, so thin it’s translucent! The whitefish salad, divine. The chocolate balls was burnt and dry. I’d try the cinnamon rolls the next time. The French toast at the table next to us looked amazing.

Breakfast here was so amazing! I ordered an omelette and the salmon tower with the Salmon Benedict as well! So delicious so amazing! Such a cute ambiance all their dinner ware is creuset all Tiffany blue with blue. The staff is super friendly and super nice! Food is pricey but worth the money. Very cute place for a Sunday date!

Decided to try it out based on these reviews here and it was awesome! Service was friendly, nice, and efficient. Food was amazing! Atmosphere is super cool and even the prices weren’t terrible! We would definitely return for brunch!

If you’re a fan of lox and bagel, this is the place! Served beautifully with all the fixings! Even had gluten free bagels that were pretty good!! It is fairly pricey, but that seemed to be the case with most places we went. Loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Didn’t like our original seat as it was right next to the service area, but they moved us and while cramped, it was much better.

This place is awesome. Do they charge more than they should? Probably. If you come hungry and thirsty, expect your wallet to be a little lighter. I would have a hard time making this a weekly brunch like place back home in Portland, but an occasional visit is worth the 💰💰. Everything is quite delicious and I dig the vibe. I think it is special place. I’ll be back!

Beautiful place, excellent food, excellent service. Obviously not a budget place, but totally worth it.

Nice place, excellent service, food was wondefull But 12$ for a cup of coffee, someone is confused...

The décor is great. Best bagels in NYS. Best lox in NYS. Everything else - stay away. This is that simple. You come there for three things and three things only: décor/atmosphere, bagels and lox. I think as long as you stick to those things you will be glad you came. Your try to wonder off to other things on the menu and you risk to de disappointed. Ok, fine you feel like egg salad - its not bad. Salmon salad - its interesting although not necessary. Unless you are like me, you order a TOWER with four types of smoked fish egg salad and salmon salad thinking it would be enough for two adults and two 7 year old kids and then realize that for all that money you get just enough fish for two people. then you watch your kids eat lox and you end up with egg salad and salmon salad. Like I said, its interesting. Its definitely more interesting then just eating cucumbers (they do give you enough cucumbers to feed a small army). The lox is great. the other smoked fish they have is tasteless. DO NOT ORDER THE TOWER. with all the money you have saved do yourself a favor and get more lox !

Don‘t go! Toooo expensive, we paid 80 dollars for a very tiny piece of salmon and bagel, and toast that didn‘t taste like bread . Plus Tip. It was a complete rip-off. In Europe you can eat für 80dollars two Steaks.

We had reservations for breakfast and were able to have our party of 6 seated together due to the recent lifting of the restrictions. Everything was great from the hostess, to the waiter to the food. Would definitely go back. Favorites were the Eggs Benedict - we had both types - ham and salmon - awesome! Bloody Mary’s were great too.

Came here for lunch and loved it! Delicious fresh food and great friendly service with an amazing atmosphere .Would love to come back again!

Had brunch here and no wait when you arrive early. Service was good but not great. The food was excellent. Lox platter and poached eggs all done well. The only down side is the prices are high for what you get.

PROS Great food and service Excellent brunch Hard to get a table and it is a good sign Cant miss margaritas and bloody mary CONS Nothing Absolutely cant miss, great French / US mix for a perfect brunch

While waiting for our table we saw this incredible lox slicer at work. He was also giving with his knowledge. When we ordered the bagel and lox it tasted even better because of the thinnest. He is a gem!

Came here for brunch and had a wonderful time! Our waiter was wonderful and the food was great! I got the salmon eggs benedict and a bagel with cream cheese and it was delicious. Everyone at our table got a bagel to start which was perfect to go along with our meals. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

Very good if not the best bagel with salmon, but for 25 USD that is what I expect. Don’t order scrambled eggs if you like your eggs soft and runny cause they come very hard and dry even after we specifically told them to make them soft. They do not have espresso, so no lattes, cappuccinos etc. It’s quite unbelievable and unacceptable for a high-end breakfast place. It’s worth going for the bagel if you are willing to pay. Everything else is not special.

Really cool venue where ‘Hipster Industrial Urban’ meets ‘Beauty and the Beast’ style decor. Great service and amazing food. Only reason it wasn’t a 5 star was that the portions were quite small for the price and we had to wait an hour...although we added our name to the waitlist and can back in an hour to be seated straight away.

We were attracted by the stylish decor and pretty tables so agreed to the 10 minute wait for a table while we perused the menu. Our choices of Greek and Cob Salad arrived in huge bowls. They were delicious. A glass of Sancerre completed a very enjoyable lunch.

Went here for breakfast and was very impressed. I do not normally eat French Toast, but it came highly recommended. Oh my WOW! I can’t even properly describe it....just do yourself a favor and get it. Service was great and so was the atmosphere. The bagels were also delicious.

Simple an Slique – Sadelle's review SoHo, a very trendy, chic area in New York City where you will find some of New York’s busiest eateries. Sadelle’s is one such place. It’s very reminiscent of a Jewish eatery except for this institution serves “pork” bacon. Upon arriving, I noticed a few people standing and sitting outside. I walk in and felt like I traveled back in time to an old-fashioned ice cream shop. The small tables and chairs, the waiters, and the openness just took me back in time. I was excited. It was crowded and quite busy, but the waiters were artfully dodging each other and the customers, while holding large platters of food in the air. I could not help but love the atmosphere of this place…the exposed brick, high ceilings, tasteful art pieces, and sky lights that ran the length of the restaurant were lovely. As per usual my server pours my water, and coffee immediately, while I dissect the menu. I ordered two medium fried eggs with a side of white fish salad, and per the menu their “famous sticky buns”. When my meal arrived, it was presented beautifully. The tower of food was visually pleasing. However, the eggs were not “medium”, but instead quite runny, more so than I like. As for the “famous sticky buns”, they were tiny, and tasted store bought with butter melted on top. The whitefish salad was very tasty and when paired with the homemade bagel, superb! The service, and the atmosphere was very nice. And honestly the experience, was not that bad, but the BEST part... the music I dined to was "Sara Smile" by Hall and Oates! ❤ I would give the meal a 6 out of 10. #simpleand_slique

Why would you want tonstart your day with anything other than a bagel tower! Great food and great service. Book in advance

Was in NYC 2 weekends in a row and Sadelle's was on my itinerary both times. Weekend visit was extremely busy but they honoured my reservation. smoked salmon is out of this world and so are their bagels. Greek salad also a winner. Over priced....ABSOLUTELY but well worth the visit. I promise to be back every visit to NYC. staff very friendly and both visits enjoyable

OMG OMG the best brunch ever the best bagels ever the best waiter ever the most delicious grapefruit and the most delicious nova platter love live live this pkace

Lovely atmosphere - very chic and elegant. Nice buzzy place for breakfast / brunch. I had eggs with potatoes and bagel. Everything was good and the potatoes especially were excellent. It’s not cheap but service is great.

I found this place to be a wonderful place for Sunday brunch. All of the fishes were delicious and artfully prepared. I loved the French toast and the omelette. You must have a bagel you are in NY you know. Oh and don’t forget the locks and cream cheese. I’ve heard you must sample the tower of fish. I was so full I could put another item in my mouth. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. Everything came out if the kitchen hot and quickly. It would be shameful if you traveled all the way to SoHo and did not visit the wonderful place. I am sure if you keep your eyes open you will see very many famous people coming through the doors. Have fun!

Traveling to NYC to visit with my niece and have some holiday fun. Sadelle's was better than I hoped for. I made reservations for bunch on a Thursday. It was packed on a Thursday. Make sure you have everyone in your party before seating. Lobster salad my husband ordered was very good, you can taste the lobster. I had the salmon, which is a cannot miss. And the best French Toast I can remember having, my niece and I split. Overall, the friendly service was great. Only the front door people were not too friendly, broadline rude but don't let that put you off. This is the only reason not a five-point rating.

Strongly recommend to make reservations, this place is always packed. In any case, it's worth the wait. You cannot leave without trying the salmon (smoked Scottish is better, but the house salmon is also good) and the caviar (I'm still dreaming about those blinis). This place doesn't come cheap, but the food is absolutely amazing.

Heard so much about Sadelle’s - everything and more! Bagels, house cured salmon, pigs in a blanket are incredible. Sticky buns could be better hot. Check out the blueberry pancakes! If you have the time - don’t miss!

Such a cute restaurant with amazing food. The french toast and white fish tower were excellent. There bagels are super tasty so I had to have 2. I would definitely go back next time we are in NYC

Have arrived from the uk and pre booked breakfast having been here before a nuber of times and always enjoyed the food and friendly staff - on arrival at 10am it seems that in error my wife has booked for tomorrow at 10am - having explained to the manager Rachel that we have travelled by Taxi from uptown and that clearly it’s been a misunderstanding on my behalf - and after requesting that if we are happy to wait she has said they don’t have enough staff to serve us and nothing that she can do - now going to have to book another Uber and go to sarabeths who am confident will be able to accommodate us would suggest that - Jeff Zalaznick, and Mario Carbone seriously consider if they should keep a restaurant open if they are not actually able to accommodate guests who want to eat - restaurants work better with recommendations and word and mouth in the Uk generally helps businesses prosper - clearly Sadells is not one of those restaurants who want to try and go and beyond to help manage peoples expectations- suggest that as an alternative visitors consider Jacks wife Freda and Sarabeths where the teams can’t do enough to make your visit as pleasant as possible !!

The French toast is absolutely worth the hype and a HUGE portion. Unlike any French toast I’ve ever had. The restaurant is so cute inside and the service was great. Highly recommend for brunch.

Popular brunch spot that's packed, but excellent. Just make a reservation and you'll find it to be easy, enjoyable and yum experience. We all had the bagel towers...all your bagel toppings -- including your choices of excellent types of salmon -- on a tiered tower. Our waiter was informative and gave excellent service. Well worth trying out.

When in NYC do not miss this. Wonderful place with very good food. We took few dishes and all we ate was perfect. Defiantly will go there again.

We had a family brunch at Sadelle’s. The omelettes were very good. The cheeseburger had a unique flavor and was really delicious. We had to wait 1 hour to get a table so this was a bit painful. Service was very good. Overall, this was worth it and we will return.

We absolutely love Sadelle's! We went here the 1st time we visited NYC and went back a year later during our second trip! Definitely the best bagels in town, you have to order the "Everything Bagel" - it tastes so good even without any spread on it! Also the Bloody Mary really stood out, it was soooo fresh, made from fresh tomato not juice concentrate! Atmosphere & service are also top!

You really need to book a table in this place as it is very busy and if I was doing so again I would request a table downstairs. Upstairs it is quite dark and you are removed from the atmosphere that is downstairs. There were two of us, we each had a cocktail to start, followed by a smoked salmon that came with cream cheese cucumber and red onion and one bagle. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and we both had coffee. The food was very nice but at $103 for what we had I thought it a bit expensive.

Completely overrated! Low level diner quality, top end NY pricing! 10 min. In the kitchen and I could have done better myself

Great brunch spot. Smoked salmon, sable, whitefish salad & bacon. Excellent service. Highly recommend!

The waiters have no idea that eggs and omelets are served with bread - - strange New York - then bread is also buttered !! Totally ignorant

Wonderful food. Portions are big so don’t over order. Booking essential. Sounds expensive but great atmosphere- fabulous quality of food. Al, server, was excellent. Will be back on next NY trip.

First time dining at Sadelle’s. Love the restaurant decoration fixtures and colors coordination. The smoked salmon was delicious. The in-house cream cheese selections combined with their homemade bagels, plain, onion, seasame and more... you get to make your own bagel sandwich which was a lot of fun. The smart, pleasant and energetic servers make their diners a pleasant one.

This place is amazing , it has sophisticated furniture and the waiters are so friendly. The atmosphere is light and relaxing . It’s a nice place to know and spend some time .

We went to Sadelle's in NYC two weeks ago. I want to send a direct thank you to "Master Slicer - Jay" for an amazing experience! We waited for over two hours for a table and nearly loss our patience, if it was not for him. His warmth and engagement made the wait worthwhile and a memory we will not forget. As you watch his mastery slicing lox in the front glassed bar next to the waiting area, you wonder why he doesn't have his own YouTube channel. He's fascinating to chat with and he genuinely appreciates the clientele. I recommend going with a lot of people so you can order almost everything on the menu. Must-haves: house-made lox (tower), fried french toast and blueberry blintzes.

We landed from a red eye and were ready for a great NYC brunch. Sadelle's was not it. First of all, a place that serves $24 dishes and $6 coffee should know how to make a delicious pot of coffee. It was unpalatable. We got the Salmon Eggs Benedict. Was it good? Yes. Was it the best salmon Benny I've ever had? Nope. Did it warrant the $24 price tag? Noooooo. Look, I'm from the Bay Area, rivals NYC in prices. And we have no problem paying for a good meal but this is yet another hyped up attempt at an upscale old school bagel and lox. So many other options, skip it.

Go for the experience, stay for a few of the selections. NYC is not void of smoked fish options, so how do you choose. Other than go everywhere, there are some that are better than others. Since we have never been to Sadelles, it was a chance to check the box on the must-do list. We made a reservation for a cold Saturday morning and were seated within 5 minutes of our time. The tables are designed to maximize the number of people that can be served, smallish but they use every square inch plus the air rights above. They place a “tower” that you have seen used for cold seafood or two-tiers of pizza in the middle, and they place your plates on them. They also give each diner their own plate. The four of us started with a “Latke Royale with caviar.” This is an “order with your eyes wide open” since the price for one is $80 with the black caviar. The single palm sized latke is first topped with crème, then slices of smoked salmon, a good amount of black caviar and chives, dill and cucumber juliennes. One is plenty for four people to enjoy a sample, and enjoy we did. The combination of the components was unbelievable. One member of the party suggested a second but we all decided against since we had more food on its way. Our table ordered the house smoked salmon, the smoked Scottish salmon and the sable. Here is where I have an issue with Sadelles. When you order three $24 smoked fish platter, limiting the diner to a single palm-sized bagel is an affront. For a table of four, please bring a half a dozen bagels. The favorite was of the two salmons was the Scottish. This was perfectly smoked, delivered a healthy dose of salmon flavor and the texture was fantastic. The other two fishes were a distant second and third behind the Scottish. The house smoked salmon was barely smoked, if at all. I would best describe it a cold poached, there was no flavor other than cold salmon. While I did not like this one, one member of the table did, so it is a personal preference. The sable was not to my liking at all. This succulent fish was served much too salty, in fact I do not remember a saltier version anywhere. I would highly recommend tasting yours to see if it acceptable. We also ordered the cheese blintzes. The wrappers were delicious, with a mild sweetness and the filling was luscious, albeit a little scant. Again, I am always surprised when the server and the kitchen are not “out of the box” thinkers with customers. We had a table of 4, they serve three blitzes to an order. Why not ask if the table would like four blintzes for an addition $5-7 dollars. A perfect win-win. The bagels, although small, were delicious. They are made on site, in the middle of the restaurant and you can watch the process as you wait for your meal. I wish I had the option to enjoy more than one. Service was spot on throughout the meal. Overall, as much as I wanted to love Sadelles, but it just did not get to love. The Scottish salmon and latke were spectacular, the cheese blintzes delicious, but the House-Smoked and sable were not in the same league.

Good overall experience: nice food and good service. Atmosphere was ok, music was too loud though. Would be happy to go back, but was maybe slightly underwhelmed. Seeing all the glowing reviews, I was expecting an exceptional meal. This was just a good brunch, like I said, not overly memorable but just nice.

One of the best places en NYC for breakfast and brunch. It is well known how good Sadelles is. Everything from coffee to any of the food available is great. It never disappoints.

Our favorite breakfast spot in NYC! The bagels and nova are the best but don't sleep on the potato's. They are crisp and cooked to perfection. Everything around us looked amazing. I wanted to go back again but literally could not get in. Reserve in advance and it won't disappoint.

Twenty minutes to wait to be seated on top of a ten minute wait to get a waiter on top of thirty minutes for an order to be taken. Every decent deli now has someone hand carving cured fish because it tastes better. So the gimmick is not quite unique but it attracts the clientele. Whilst the smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel were good, there are better. The cream cheese tastes oddly whipped. It is not dense like normal cream cheese. The smoked salmon was good. The issue which has caused me to give this place two stars is not actually about the slow service or the food, it is because of the sheer food wastage which this company seems to care little about. While watching them bake the bagels in house, the baker must have thrown in the garbage at least 10 bagels off a tray which were not uniform or perfect in shape....in the garbage! I asked the manager why such waste..why don't they sell the slightly mis-shaped bagels half price or ask customers opinions wether a slightly imperfectly shaped bagel will ruin their meal? Why not donate the bagels to charity? The manager advised that the conglomerate which owns Sadelle's sets the policy and they can do nothing. In this day and age when there is so much heightened awareness of food wastage, people going hungry, this establishment flagrantly throws probably at least 100 if nor more bagels away because they are slightly misshapen. Disgraceful

Pancake for ever! Or Sadelle New-York, this is where you want to have your pancake experience! Book in advance and let's the magic happen

Very nice restaurant Nice service Good price $$$ Need reservation No parking Nice menu Need to try the beagle

Service, Decor, Food, Atmosphere - just wow! This was the perfect last brunch on our girls trip to New York, and I will be dreaming about that bagel and smoked salmon for a while. Can't wait to go back, will definitely be making this a must on each trip to New York.

Really good food in Soho, only a short wait, friendly service. The place must be popular, as it is very busy

I went in for a weekday brunch and other than amazing bagels they were one of the few place in NYC that had decent tea! Watch out for the prices of any add one for your breakfast, very expensive

A mythical and beautiful place, but very noisy. The food is hearty and good, but the service is average and communication with the waiters is very complicated, despite my great command of English.

Great lunch with lovely buzzing atmosphere. Make sure you book table in advance. We all enjoyed our meals - smoked salmon bagels and salads. Would definitely recommend

Love the place and the food was amazing. Chico our waiter was so helpful and always smiling. The receptionist was so rude her name is chia. She doenst smile at all. We ordered eggs Benedict for breakfast. Beautiful ambiance

Went here for breakfast. It was very early and not busy at all. The choice was quite limited for breakfast. I ended up having potatoes with my breakfast which I'm not really a fan of and they were barely warm. It was high up on TripAdvisor so we thought we would give it a try but I wouldn't go again.

Stopped in for brunch. They have an excellent selection of bagels and toppings. Service was slow. Worth stopping in and trying a tower

Superior Quality and Fresh Ingredients, beautifully presented dishes and all extremely tasty. If you are in the mood for a first class meal of bagel and salmon, this is certainly a place that should be on your list. Our server was very helpful with the menu and she could have not been more personable. There is a way that you can make reservations if you come the afternoon before the morning you would like to come by--that is if there are any spots left. Upbeat, bright and airy atmosphere. Be prepared to step up in cost--the prices reflect the highest quality ingredients. Check out my photos for more details.

Thé food is so expensive and is absolutely disgusting. Three of us ordered pancakes and they were $20 each, despite the fact they were small pancakes. The pancakes themselves tasted like salt and baking powder. I could only stomach a few bites. The waiters never check in on you either and only approach you when getting your food and drink order. They never follow up after food is delivered. The drink menu is also nonexistent. Waste of money. Go to the starbucks down the street instead

Based on TripAdvisor reviews I was a tad nervous booking Sadelle's for a weekend brunch, given that some had poor service experiences and/or very long lines for seating. I checked the menu online and knew that we'd be paying "New York Sunday Brunch" prices, but I thought no more than the menu prices at some of the mid-town "regular" brunch places. Couldn't do anything personally about the service myself, but I booked a relatively early (9a) table for 4 on a recent Sunday. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for our table. When we left the wait time for those without reservations was over an hour....and people were willing to wait. One of our party ordered the bagels and smoked salmon; she said it was fantastic. I went with the fried eggs with breakfast potatoes and a bagel. My best move was ordering sausages as an extra, which were a fantastic pairing with the eggs. The location was fresh and lovely. Coffee was frequent and free-flowing. Server was funny and breezy; came to check on our table just often enough. Would happily visit again.

Great Restaurant, fine smoked Salmon and different type of smoked fish. Great Service and amazing Bagles.. definitely recommended..

The place has a cool vibe and was pretty busy. We were lucky that it was only a 10 minute wait around noon with out a reservation. We ordered the everything bagel with the house salmon - very good; but the French toast was fantastic, one of the best I’ve eaten. Would definitely order that again! The food overall is quite good with an outrageous price tag, but one’s got to treat oneself every now and then.

Delis are closing all over the place. Where once there were three in a neighborhood, there now is one. So it better be good. Sadelles is that good. While the bagels are bubbling away in salted hot water in the back, people are chowing down on Nova and cream cheese, herring and egg salad presented in a most unique way. You wonder where all those lazy susans went from all the chinese restaurants on Sunday nights. Well, they are all happily here and each is overflowing with Jewish specialties. Each one better than the previous. Bagels come fresh from the oven and are stacked on large poles that are part of the table ware. Each bite a remarkable tribute to the delicate art of making bagels. If you want the true experience, do not Passover this restaurant.

We enjoy a delicious breakfast there today. The bagels were freshly made and white fish salad was One of the best. In my opinion too pricey for what you get .

Crazy breakfast/brunch in this wonderful place. Impeccable service from start to finish; both sweet and savory breakfast of the highest level (from salmon bagels to French toast to omelettes). Super highly recommended (book well in advance).

This place is a must if you are in NYC. Make a reservation and just go. We had an amazing meal of lox, bagels and salads. The portions are large so easy to share with another person. Drinks were also delicious and the service can't be beat. They even have GF bagels!!!

Sadelle’s certainly has a nice vibe and very good service. Having said that, we’ve been to every breakfast spot in NYC and, wow, for what you get the prices are ridiculous. The “eggs any style” comes with actually very good smashed roasted potatoes but why such a heaping truckload of potatoes dumped onto your plate? Really odd. It seemed like I ordered potatoes, with a dab of eggs. The bagels? Guys and gals, come to Montreal! I’d be interested to hear what you think. I was really, really disappointed in the NYC bagel if this is the yardstick here. A beautiful restaurant inside but nothing to bring us back.

The queues are long and the bagel was crazy expensive - watch out as it was cash only - but it was so worth it. We took the bagels to go and sat in the park nearby and it was the most amazing bagel I have had. We also got juices to go, but they were so expensive for what they were so I would recommend that you get soda or juice from another store then just grab a bagel from there. They have two queues for eat in or takeaway so make sure you are in the right one!

Atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were spot on, but we were served on dirty dishes and the food quality was something we could’ve gotten at a local diner. Our check made our eyes bug out of our heads! Plenty of other brunch places in NYC with better quality!

A delight! In the middle of the soho. Brunch maravilhoso! The tuna melt very good and the smoked salmon is also very delicious. Reserve pq is full.

We were in the city in Christmas Day We decided to go to Sadelle’s with no reservation we wait almost 2 hours for siting ...was worth every minute The service (the host was amazing we had infant with us and all she care is the siting that we will be comfortable ) The service was great and the bagels delicious (pricy but we knew it ) Recommend to have reservation !!!!

NYC is full of Bagel eateries, but Sadelles’s in SOHO is exceptional. A fantastic selection of bagels and other gourmet treats as well as excellent eggs Benedict. The vibe is definitely SOHO sophistication, especially on weekends where NY urban trendies together with well heeled tourists enjoy lox bagels and espresso. Tip: be sure to book via e-table to avoid long waits at the entrance.

You'll wait about an hour if you don't make a reservation. Great bagels. Excellent Lox! Scrambled eggs are cooked to perfection. Fun place. Great atmosphere. Excellent wait staff. Coffee is okay- could be better.

One of the best breakfast in the city. Completely wheelchair friendly, accessible wc on site. The stuff is super nice and professional.

My Wife and I visited Sadelle’s in Las Vegas last year and loved it so were excited to go to Sadelle’s in New York. However I was very disappointed with the experience. The restaurant is extremely noisy and it is hard to even hold a conversation, unless you want to shout like everyone else. Our table for 2 was tiny and could barely even fit the food we ordered which was just a bagel tower and salad. We were also placed right next to where the servers would work and there was constantly someone standing right next to us inputting new orders into a tablet. There was not much space in the walkway behind my chair because all the tables are packed together so closely so there was constantly someone walking right behind me very closely through the entire meal. Thankfully the food was at least very nice although by the point you get it all these other factors have kind of ruined the experience. Overall I think Sadelle’s in New York is overrated and you could easily find another restaurant for a better meal if you wanted to.

This seems to be the popular go to place in Soho for brunch (make a reservation, or expect to wait). I can see why it’s popular, it has a great atmosphere and vibe, great decor, bagels are made fresh to order and the most popular item on their menu is the tower (cream cheese, smoked salmon and bagels). We didn’t order that, but both our selections were delicious. Service is just okay. Recommend and likely return when in NYC again. (Don’t accept cash, credit/debit only).

Visited on a wet thanksgiving-good waiting system by text. (45 mins) We were seated closest to the door and it was freezing - huge gust of cold air every time someone opened it - which was a lot. I have no idea how bad it would be if it was freezing outside (it was around 50). It did spoil the meal really and I watched the table next to us start putting on their layers as they waited for food. My wife had a chicken sandwich which she really liked and I had eggs Benedict which was very average - seemed to be a lot of smoked salmon around which I guess was a speciality. I would return but not anywhere near the door - I don’t know why they would have a curtain or something.

You will love everything about this place, mouth-watering brunch, gorgeous decor, excellent service, what else can you ask for. Oh yes, and they do have Gluten free bagels.

We made our reservation 30 days in advance and were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We had the classic egg sandwich on everything bagel & the healthy egg sandwich on bread. Both were outstanding! We also enjoyed a bloody mary and bellini, equally as delicious. This was by far the most we've ever spent on breakfast for 2 people, but worth every penny. I will go back next time I'm in NYC and have already recommended it to friends.

I guess it's one of the it places to see and be seen, the waiting was for 40 minutes before we managed to get a table. Brunch at its best by trying the salmon tower which had 2 types of smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes , chives and cucumbers . Accompanied by freshly baked sesame bagels, super good and beyond delicious .. The A/C was down at the day, which is too bad since its a bit humid. The space is huge, the tables are a bit small though and its good they have a bathroom as well ..

Excellent, we visited on a Saturday morning , staff & servise very friendly , and the food was of good quality and taste , I recommend for brunch / breakfast. Only downside they offer only American coffee, no cappuccino etc.

Had an amazing, 5 Star meal. As far as Jewish deli food goes, this is at the top. Had whitefish salad, bagels, potato pancakes, blintzes, all at their highest level of flavor and execution. Service was top notch in all regards. The lox and bagels also amazing. We had just an amazing meal. A+

Excellent! I ordered omelet with bacon, ham, and cheese. It was wonderful. Mimosas yum!!. Service was impeccable coffee good.

Got recommended this place the last time I was in NYC a couple of months ago. Tried to go without a reservation and got told there was a 3 hour wait! So I made a reservation a month ahead of time to make sure I could try what is a great brunch place if you like bagels. We ordered the tower which meant you got a 3 tier mix of ingredients across fish and salad, with unlimited bagels. The bagels are baked fresh on the premises, and you can see the guys at work cutting the dough. The bagels are great because they are fresh, the variety is also great, and the size is also perfect. Not those big bagels that weigh you down, meaning you can try out a few different ones. The aperol spritz were also well made, great balance between the flavours. Would definitely recommend and return. 4 people with tips and drinks came to $260.

I went for brunch while visiting from Toronto and I was blown away. I ordered the healthy egg sandwich and got it on a bagel (couldn't miss the bagels) with cream cheese on the side. It was excellent.

My husband and I decided to go for Saturday brunch and chose Sadelles - not in our neighborhood but we remember Il Tre Merli in that location from New York past! I'm a 4th generation New York City gal I called to make a reservation knowing from the website they keep tables for walk-ins. I got email back from their reservations saying they have limited reservations because they keep tables for walk ins. So we went in the rain excited to eat there. We arrived and were rudely told they are not taking walk-ins and when I told them it was on their website as well in the response email that they keep tables for walk-ins - I asked the manager and staff who said "oh we have to change that on website and email response"and still would not seat us even though they were 3/4 empty! UNPROFESSIONAL MESS. So unprofessional and unkind! Don't treat patrons that way when you mess up! We own an NYC business soI know customer service - this is awful!

Sadelle's won the best breakfast category for my most recent trip to New York City. When I go to NYC, I absolutely have to find a great bagel and lox. I did just that at Sadelle's. I ordered the house salmon and everything on my plate tasted so fresh. It was simply perfect. I would love to go back and try some of the other fish offerings.

A so nice atmosphere, with a a good food and bagels It was a good choice by my cousin and his wife to enjoy the breakfast with the family in a warm atmosphere

This is a must go spot for brunch! The food was excellent and the restaurant is warm and welcoming. You can also just go to the bakery to purchase their bagels and breads!

Nice venue and really good service. Really recommend their eggs benedict with salmon, one of the best I've had. Recommended!

I didn’t think there was a way to improve on the New York classic of bagel and cream cheese but Sadelle’s take the concept and ramp it up! Yes it’s fancy and costs but it’s SO worth it! The smoked salmon was delicious and the con salad was delicious. If you fancy a big brunch this is the place for you. Only downside is the toilets. Only 2 for a place of this size is not enough. I waited in line for nearly 20 minutes. Luckily I had finished my meal. But that needs to be sorted out as everyone in the line was annoyed and complaining. Overall though a good experience!

brilliant clean food, excellent attentive service. nice atmosphere. great range of breakfast items. we didn't have lunch or dinner there but im sure by the standard of food it would've been great.

Great ambience and service.Food exceptional.Loved the fresh bagel. They serve only black coffee, but still this is just great.

The bagels are excellent, with the freshly sliced Salmon and the right sides, is a unique experience The French toast is a unique experience as well, fluffy, tasty perfect Same for the oatmeal along with other choices as well. On the downsides, It is a bit expensive and the coffee is below the standards/level of the restaurant which other than that is a great choice I would make again.

It was amazing, we were late and lost our reservation and the place was really crowed, they treat us very well, and managed to get a table in less than 10 minutes, it was the best bagel I ever had, we were 4 people, and ordered different plates and everything was perfect ! Hope to go back on my next trip .

The suggestions were not in vain, the presentations are very enjoyable and delicious, we definitely recommend it... The omelette we tried for the first time with salmon set, French toast and mustard was delicious. The staff were very attentive, although we went without a reservation, we did not wait long.

The smoked salmon was wonderful as well as the amazing French toast-once we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation ( which is a must). Plan on spending $40- $50 per person including tax and tip. Coffee was very good but $6.00 including refills. I’d go back without hesitation.

Good breakfast menus selection An interesting Sadelle tower presentation and selection Great taste and great experience

Salmon was super fresh and the bagels were delicious! We ordered the French toast too and is was so good. It was very busy so make a reservation. I kept thinking about it and wanted to go back the next day! Yummy!

Recently visited after a friends recommendation! We had a 2:45pm reservation that was at the end of service, the restaurant was lees than half full and the service was poor despite a number of waiters working! The staff seemed more interested with getting rid of us so they could leave for the day. The food was lovely but the whole experience was ruined as we felt rushed and didn’t really have time to enjoy our food or drinks. I would suggest setting time as side to ensure that you provide all customers with an enjoyable experience.

Yum ! If you are looking for a REAL New York bagel .. look no further. Sadelles has perfected the recipe. Come here to eat the gravlax (also called smoked salmon or nova) It was truly tasty perfection! Everything you have read or heard is absolutely true. This is worth every penny …I should say nickel, umm dime … let’s just say dollar …. It is a bit pricey for breakfast / lunch or brunch … but it can either serve one and a half people … we didn’t think the portion was large enough for two … but maybe if you have 3 people you only need 2 orders! It is definitely worth coming here. We also had the french toast - it was a very large portion, very soft inside, crispy on the outside - a bit too greasy for my tastes - but the waiter told us to try it over the pancakes. Wouldn’t order it again, but that’s personal preference. Sadelles is a definite YES

Yes, it’s pricey, but the bagels are to die for. We were two Montrealers (who had to admit that these NY bagels almost stand up to Montreal’s) and two jaded New Yorkers and we all loved it. Had the wonderful luck of being seated with a view of the bagel maker. He deserves an award for his handiwork. Sadells should put out a tip jar for him. He must have made 200 bagels in the time we were there. What you eat is fresh. Best French toast I’ve ever tasted. Go for the tower with 6 kinds of smoked fish to share between four. Lovely decor. Excellent service. Thanks to our very informative and patient server, Mickey.

Good spot if you wanna be in the mix. Really good smoked fish etc. The tower is the famous dish and it doesn't disappoint. While the clientelle are a little obnoxious, the servers and atmosphere are not.

Stopped by one Saturday morning (around noon) - the restaurant was super packed with brunch-goers, but we went to the to-go bagel line. I got a sesame bagel with the house salmon and some orange juice. The bagel was so good!! Definitely worth it. Probably the best bagel I've had.

Sadelle's is a truly wonderful brunch experience! The salmon; the salads; and the eggs were excellent. But the French toast was magnificent! Sadelle´s is somewhat expensive as most New York restaurants, but the experience and quality of food and drink make a visit to this SOHO establishment a must!

Staff are very attentive and we had no difficulty getting a table. Menu is limited but there is a variety of foods available. Staff are very friendly and offer suggestions when asked. Prices are typical New York high but at the reasonable end. We enjoyed our meal, conversation with the waitstaff and would recommend eating here.

Our 3 day whirlwind visit to NYC was so fun and one of the best places we found was Sadelle’s in SoHo! We’ll be back!!

We pre-booked ahead at 9am and good thing we did as it was full by 9.20am. Delicious breakfast, loads of options for gluten free, even the fresh GF bagels were really tasty. We got some bagels to takeaway for our boys. One of the best meals we had on our trip.
Delicious breakfast
Really cool restaurant. Lovely setting and delicious food but make sure to book in advance. We were glad we did, as the reputation means there is a lengthy queue. Worth a visit if you are in the Tribecca area!
