Food and service above and beyond! Helen who is the owner and the chef truly cares about you having best experience possible! Roasted chicken leg! Fried chicken sandwich! Many Mi with soft shell crab! Spinach sautéed with garlic! Garlic noodles with shrimp! Everything is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Hidden gem! Would definitely recommend!

Made reservations beforehand. Highly recommend doing that. Met Helen the owner who is from Seattle, like us. Had pork belly sisig, garlic noodles with prawns and a salad. Very good food, but quite noisy.

Had dinner here one evening, and were delighted with the food -- the ribs are excellent, chicken wings also very good. The drinks, service, all were top-notch. The place is small and a bit noisy; the two-seater tables are situated in the middle of the "traffic" so to speak.

small restaurant with a humble atmosphere is the setting for a delicious trip through the cuisine of Nam. the food is prepared by a excellent chef who earned her chops long before she opened her own place. her take on clams and mussels w/ginger and Vietnamese chorizo was a pleasure to behold. The service is attentive and they make you feel very at home. The dishes we had were excellent and some were nice and spicy. A truly enjoyable meal in a great place.!!!

We had dinner at Saigon Social on Xmas Eve - it was fairly busy in spite of the bitterly frigid temperatures outside. We ordered: Bánh beo: pretty authentic, loaded, flavorful Saigon salad: again, pretty authentic rendition, maybe a bit too much spice Chicken wings: cooked and seasoned well, liked the pairing with the fishy garlic sauce Oxtail Fried Rice: honestly a bit bland for my liking even with the fried egg on top Garlic Noodles with Prawn: noodles were flavorful and cooked el dente, prawns were naturally sweet Cocktails were creative and tasty. Saigon Social advertises as a fusion restaurant and it delivered. We like to eat Vietnamese cuisine and it was awesome to try a different while still fairly authentic take on classic dishes. Service was friendly and quick.

The food here for the most part is good. The fried sticky rice with pork was overcooked. The hamburger was good, but messy with flavors that fought each other. the shrimp and other seafood dishes faired better. There was no dessert. The restaurant is cramped and the atmosphere could stand an upgrade.

Charming little place. Spectacular pork ribs to start. Roast chicken to follow was perfectly cooked and delicious. Would return any time. Lovely staff

Saigon Social serves up delicious Vietnamese fusion eats. Not entirely authentic, but definitely great concoctions. Big fan of the garlic noodles and fried egg roll varieties. The pho is okay, but the sandwich/bahn mi options are good.

We have been here twice, and the food just keeps getting better... so tasty! The menu options are different than your typical NYC Vietnamese restaurant menu. The staff is also great.
A Cozy and Inviting Spot with Memorable Flavors
This restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a casual yet inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. The warm and attentive staff add to the overall charm of the place, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk in. The real star here, however, is the food. Every dish is carefully crafted, with flavors that truly stand out. The spicy dumplings were, without a doubt, the highlight of the meal. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat, they were flavorful and left me craving more. The cocktails were also expertly made, refreshing, and paired beautifully with the dishes. While the food and service were top-notch, the pricing is on the higher end. For those used to more affordable options in the city's thriving Asian food scene, this may not be the kind of place you'd frequent regularly. Still, the quality of the dishes, especially the dumplings and cocktails, makes it worth a visit—perhaps for a special occasion or when you're in the mood to treat yourself. If prices were a bit more in line with the competition, this would easily be a go-to spot for frequent visits. Nonetheless, for the experience and the fantastic flavors, it’s definitely a place I’d recommend, even if only for those indulgent nights when you want to enjoy something a little more special.
