An extraordinary new restaurant from Tao Group and all of the menú it’s superb with wonderful creations ! The Branzino, it’s one of a kind recipe I have never tasted in this way ! Súper atmosphere and the attention is wonderful! The Matcha Tiramisu is the best in the world! Can’t wait to go back !

We came here for dinner and absolutely loved it. The drink and service at the bar and also in the restaurant was gorgeous. Same for the food. 10/10

Christmas dinner

By Catalina Abarca |

Excellent experience at our Christmas dinner. Even though we reached the limit of the kitchen closure, they served us the same, we ordered a pasta carbonara and a salmon sushi, both dishes were extraordinary without leaving behind the dessert and the cocktails. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very beautiful, the lighting relaxing and very good service from the guys. 10/10

Dinner in NYC, New York

Came here Sunday night for dinner—restaurant is located downstairs of the Moxy hotel, very dim lit in here. The ambiance and decor is nice! Service was okay, our server took a while to greet us and didn’t come off that friendly. Food was okay. The Prawn and Asparagus Tempura was mediocre, also bland. The BBQ Freshwater Eel & Black Truffle Sushi Roll was delicious! The Wafu Carbonara was interesting with the poached egg, truffle and uni—would have preferred the sauce to be thicker than liquidy. For drinks, “The Classics Flights” of sake was a nice option to try different types of sake—poured in a shot glass with a decent portion of sake. The Nice Drip cocktail (vodka and cold brew) was alright—cocktails started off $21-$22 a drink.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Sake No Hana: Exceptional Service & Sensory-Friendly Touches 🍣🍱✨

By Melissa L |

Dining at Sake no Hana was an exceptional experience, especially since taking my 16-year-old son with severe autism to a fine dining restaurant can be challenging. From the moment we arrived, our server, Fallon, made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The team went above and beyond, providing a bag of sensory toys and a headset from KultureCity, the nation's leading nonprofit for sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities. It was truly the most thoughtful dining experience we've ever had. The vibe at Sake no Hana is just as impressive as the food. The decor transports you to an Izakaya in Japan, with an elegant ambiance that perfectly complements the exquisite dishes. Chef Jackie's culinary expertise shines through in every bite. The wagyu beef was insanely good, tender, and flavorful. The Black Truffle Uni Udon was a hit—rich, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable. And the desserts? Simply divine. The whisky chocolate dessert, reminiscent of my favorite cocktail, the Manhattan, was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Sake no Hana has set a new standard for what a dining experience should be—delicious, thoughtful, and memorable.

Best Japanese restaurant in NY?

Eaten here two days in a row. They have lovely sushi, good service and a totally fantastic Wafu carbonara!! I would love to come back. Absolutely worth a visit.

Good food

By Maysworld |

The ambiance is nice. The food is good and the drinks are delicious. We had reservation and we still had to wait. The hostess was more focused on being on her phone. We sat and waited by the bar. It took about 15 mins for someone to greet us and give us the drink menu. Our waitress was nice. We went to piano bar and that was a cute spot to get more drinks and listen to someone perform.

Don’t book

We had a reservation but when we got to the restaurant we had to wait more than 45 minutes beyond the booking time to have a table.

Disappointed

By Nick W |

Downstairs inside the Moxy hotel - nice space, well designed. Food options were good, quality was slightly disappointing, particularly the King Crab. Service was not good, took a long time to ask for order and deliver drinks - came across overly arrogant and quite unfriendly. Expensive for the overall experience - wouldn't return

Excellent

By AndersUA |

Excellent restaurant with great service, expensive as everything in NYC, so not surprising. Vibe is very good. Recommended.

Overrated

Overrated restaurant. Poor selection of sushi. Noodles were not nice. Staff too young and inexperienced. Wine glass was dirty.

Worth going!

The ambience is great and the decor is fab Food was really good and menu had lots of options The staff gave us the bill and we paid it. Then 5 minutes later they realised they made a mistake and gave us a new bill. This was the only downside of the evening!

Simply- Must Go!

Fantastic service, ambiance and wonderful food. Very unique flavours and great for business. We had an array of fish and meat options and the dishes were so beautifully plated, with the taste to match! Will return!
