Real tacos and tremendous atmosphere! My favorite was the volcano, but really everything we tried on the menu was delicious. We asked for several things to share and there wasn’t one we didn’t love. I had a drink of tamarind with mezcal called Tamarind—too good! Sergio was more than excellent, ask if you have the opportunity! And when you least expect it... the place becomes a Dismissal Room: they hand out microphones, everyone and the party is formed!

We were a group of 10 with a confirmed reservation, yet we were left standing outside for 15–20 minutes just to “show” that there was a line, despite our names being on the list. At the door, we were hit with a surprise minimum consumption of $75 per person OR 3 bottles (around $400 each). Nowhere in the reservation details or terms and conditions was this mentioned. After arguing, they agreed to waive the minimum if we only stayed for 2 hours — ridiculous. When we finally got inside, they first tried to squeeze us into a tiny side-terrace table for 4 people. For a party of 10! When we requested an indoor table, they forced us into a table that normally seats 6, cramming 12 people together with paint cans as seats. After going back and forth, they eventually added a side table, but the wobbly ice cream–parlor style furniture made for a very uncomfortable setup. To be fair, once settled, the food and drinks were actually good. But the service and management? Absolutely unacceptable. At one point, one of us stepped out for a smoke and they refused to let her back in — even as five other people (including someone from our table) had just walked out freely. Their excuse: “The owner gave us instructions.” Nothing but nonsense. It was clear they wanted to push us out because we didn’t fall for their hidden “minimum consumption” scam. They don’t care about customer experience, only about squeezing every dollar out of you. Bottom line: If you want to be treated with respect, avoid this place at all costs. Sala del Despecho Wynwood is all about greed, not hospitality.

The best, the best in wynwood, Sergio attention us in a spectacular way, and viviana rooms is a love of person ♥️ Very successful for this business! BTW: it's my third time here and I've always had the best attention 🥰

I loved the whole experience of the Hall to go and sing with my friends... we had a great time. The delicious cocktails, I recommend ordering Paquita and Tamarindo... Tacos don’t even say, truly authentic Mexicans, the spectacular pork and meat trunk tacos and Gloria’s slapstick as an exquisite dessert! I'll be back in June for another birthday!

HORRIBLE !! I made a reservation for 6 people and when we arrived the first thing that we found out is there is a $75.00 minimum consumption. We didn't mind because we are locals, and we spend more than that when we go out. It would it be nice that they tell you that in advance of course. The second surprise is that our table was not ready, and they want us to seat in a table of 4 (six people with reservation and paying their $75.00) It was 7:45 pm and they had several empty tables. Next to us was a table of 8 with 8 people (nice right) so Mr.Franco in a VERY condescending way he said, or you seat in that table of 4 or there no is other option. And I point at him a table of 6 and I said I would like that table. He told me that table for 6 people actually was reserved for 12 people (good luck to them). And the answer was a NO !!! He even told me that I didn't know how busy they will get later. I told him I visited a couple in Mexico City and the one in San Miguel de Allende (whereby the way there is no minimum consumption) and were great. Well......... it was disappointing. We left and we went to the Mexican restaurant Bakan one block away from there and we had a great dinner experience. So be careful and pay attention when you decide to go to this place. You won't have good customer service from Mr.Franco not sure about the rest of course. As a Mexican I was expecting better from you.

Delicious, authentic food and excellent service! Sergio was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back. The only downside is the prices - it’s not your everyday taco prices. But, it is a special place.

The place where you thought you were just going to eat tacos but instead you end up partying and singing your heart out! The place is amazing, the energy is very high, everybody is dancing and singing to Selena, Thalia and Luis Miguel songs, and that’s not the best part…THE FOOD IS INSANELY GOOD!! Also the service is fenomenal! Ask for Sergio, he’ll make your experience even better, and I promise you, as packed as it is, you’ll get your food and drinks in less than 10 minutes. If you’re in wynwood, I suggest you give it a try, it’s definitely worth it!!

Great place to go with friends, the food is amazing probably the best tacos in Miami! And the Despecho experience it’s like no other! Very unique! I loved it!

Amazing tacos and service as a Mexican, this is the most authentic tacos you can find in Miami. Please do yourself a favor and try this place. Shoutout to Sergio our server for his outstanding customer service.

Tourist trap. 1- keep in mind, is Miami, this excuse for a glorified taco stand, as if Disney world had a taco ride, this place would be the gift shop at the end of the ride. 2- concept.... They leverage off the glory of Luis Miguel, Paquita, Juan Gabriel and others.... Hope their lawyers and estates are getting royalties from the barbaric way they milk people for money at this place. 3- example.... You are charge (in Miami) $1,200 dollars (PER TABLE) to stay after 9pm. Bro.... The table are as spacious as a personal carry on item for an airline. 4- Instagram and nostalgia... you think you are going to this place to share great memories and have a night out to sign outloud and enjoy company.... No.... You are not, EVERY employee.... And I mean EVERY EMPLOYEE is at a constant pressure to serve, rush and next cash cow per square inch to milk. 5- I be glad to spend $1,200 dollars in Miami, take a fly to Mexico or Colombia and truly enjoy a kareoke bar with good 80's, 90's music. AFTER WE HAD ALREADY PAID OVER $600 DOLLARS FROM 7pm to 9pm. I got the receipts to prove it. I am uploading it, showing my part (4 of us, out of a group of 12) 6- ardido y ardida.... Yes... but only due to the scam, abuse and rush-consume-over pay-pressure. And bro.... $13 dollars for 2 tacos a 5 year old kid had more inspiration to make.... What a joke of a place, just keep in mind.... The joke is on the consumer for making them overpay. 7. Again.... It's Miami, be aware this type of slime could happen, pero que te dejes.... Eso ya es otro cuento. For a better cultural, Mexican experience you got to drive to real Mexican food in Homestead (35 minutes drive south) and again.... For a good old school karaoke experience.... I fly to any Latin country and gladly spend $1,200 to party while I feel good helping the people that work there and making sure the family has a good time. But being part of this money grab scam.... No gracias. 8- el que le ponga 5 estrellas, es alguien que va de entrada solamente, por su foto de Instagram y tomarse una bebida de $25 dólares, y bueno….. eso no lo niego, ese es el costo de una bebida en un antro en Miami, pero de que no entran una experiencia de karaoke en grupo y sea amena como la promociónan….. no mi estimado…. Ahí no es.
