I love love love this place, Mr Samad, amazing human being that makes the best authentic Persian food I have had in a long long time besides my mom's cooking. Homey atmosphere, excellent service, excellent gheyme khoresht, amazing koobideh kebob, fantastic mast-o- khiar and salad shirazi.ade me feel like HOME and that is not what you will ever get from 5 star restaurant. This man deserves his own Michelin star. Thank you Mr Samad for everything, you truly are a Persian Gentleman

Amazing customer service! The gentleman is very kind and thoughtful. 100% recommend or else you’re genuinely missing out.

Samad Cafe is my absolute favorite place to eat. I am a chef from Chicago and am always looking for a place to not only eat, but also experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I found it. The food is incredible, but the owner, Samad, makes you feel like you have just sat down to eat at your mother's house. I go there three times a week because I cannot capture the same experience anywhere else. The food gives you a warm feeling in your stomach and Samad gives you a warm feeling in your heart. -Aaron

The food and service were all excellent. I had the lamb which was delicious and fell right off the bone. I will be recommending to friends

Loved it, food was tasty and really good, Samad is really nice to everybody and he just made my day better, recommend it (took the lamb and it melted in my mouth instantly) !

Hidden local find near Love field with real deal Persian food. Owner pleasant fellow and nice to chat with. **CASH ONLY**

Very humble place, you will feel like you are at your mom or grandmother kitchen I strongly recommended

amazing customer service ! great cuisine for anyone to enjoy (coming from a picky eater.) me and my boyfriend LOVED this place !!

This is a small place that nobody can guess by its appearance that there is a restaurant there, however a Shirazi person called Samad is waiting inside to greet you. He is so warm and friendly that you feel he is your relative. The food is excellent and it is exactly like a home made Persian food. The price is reasonable and he does not charge you for tax or tip. As an example, a ground beef kabob and rice with bread and onion with a bottle of water cost only 7$. If you want to spend a romantic day in your honeymoon don't go to this place, however if you like to eat a real home made Persian food, you got the best place.

The only way you would find this place is if you a) got lost or b) wanted a secluded place to do an illicit business deal. But don't let that or the fact that it is attached to an auto shop or the do not enter signs for Manor Way stop you from coming to this hidden gem. Samad is a persian cafe that serves only 3-4 different dishes a day, but what they do serve is excellent. Each day there is a different specialty. On Thursday there is a wonderful beef, eggplant and lentil stew that has quickly become my favorite dish. Friday there is a delicate braised leg of lamb, and Saturday the special is a spinach, bean and beef stew. All are excellent and worth the trek to this unassuming and unpretentious place. The owner/chef/waiter/cashier/channel changer is one of the friendliest people I've met in a restaurant and I am happy to support his business anytime. Even if he wasn't nice, I'd still go for the food. Also, I should mention the portions are more than generous and you will never leave hungry. Did I mention it is a great deal also? Well it is, but don't forget your cash because he doesn't take credit cards. Do yourself a favor and open your eyes to something new and different.

This cafe has a chill vibe great food and the owner salad is very nice and caring/kind would go again easy 5 stars for me bye

amazing restaurant, great value for money! Samad was so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

I love this place! Amazing place and yummy food. Please give it a visit 💕 you will love the food. The place is cozy as well. I Will go here more often, thats for sure

Everything was so delicious! Samad is such an amazing person🙏 best persian restaurant in Dallas!! There was also a warming atmosphere, wow

A co-worker suggested Samad Cafe one day. I went & was blown away by the service, quality of food, but most of all by the genuine feeling of community you get when you eat there. Sam is now my friend! I have to agree with the location comments, but as they said, don't let the hole-in-the-wall facade fool you! He knows by now I only drink water w/ my meal, love his yogurt, & usually order chicken. My fav too is the spinach, bean, beef stew type side. Today I had a tiny serving of the lamb w/ the spinach side & it was fabulous. The menu is set, but anything you get is worth ordering. The portions are grand as I always have leftovers. The thing I appreciate even more, as if there could be anything more, is that he chooses the freshest ingredients for his meals. He actually grows raspberries & other fruit in his yard & makes preserves for the breakfast menu. That stuff is beyond description! Everyone that comes in are like old friends or family. His kind, humble demeanor exudes this is community! Experience Samad Cafe for yourself & I promise....you will be back. Bring cash, leave happy!

The food was amazing, and the customer service was top-notch, I loved the ambiance and the amazing, delicious food. I will be going back there soon

Wonderful cafe, the owner is incredibly kind and genuine. The food is delicious and it has a very homely feeling and great service.

We had lunch here while in Dallas for a few days. We chose this place based on trip advisor reviews. Yes, the place could definately benefit from a coat of paint. It's more like eating at your persian uncle's house than at a restaurant. We both had the special of the day, a sort of stew with meat, lentils, eggplant and squash. It came with a very large portion of rice, and onion, lime and pita bread. I also had a can of diet coke. The spice and flavors were good. It's not the best mediterranian food I've ever had though. I don't know if it's a great value either, for the two of us for lunch and one can of soda was $17. Yes the owner if friendly, but this is Texas, everyone is friendly compared to up north.

Just lovely from the food to the owner! Persian food is hard to come by and especially with this taste, and I felt really welcomed by the owner.
Absolutely splendid
