Crazy busy for 9:30 PM on a Sunday night!! We were shocked. The atmosphere here had a great neighborhood vibe. The pizza was great and the staff was accommodating. We will be back before the end of our visit to the city..

A good meal for the price , you take as you want and pay accordingly the weight taken . You can find anything, meet , fish and vegetables . Very well located ., in Times Square near everything.

Just got off a big bus tour and like when food shopping u should not enter the first place just cos ur starving!!!! Place is OK has space is quick to get food and sit...but as quick also comes the disappointment. Gr8 for a quick bite... not ideal for a good meal... same level as McDonald, subway or any other chain fast food restaurant.

I was surprised to see this in the city this summer. I stumbled upon it, I thought most of them closed down years ago. They were always good to me and when they started to go out of business I think not due to the food, but because of poor management, I felt sad, so I was so glad to see it and went in and tried it and was pleasantly taken that I still enjoyed the food. I had baked ziti and it was not dried out. It was hot and not overdone. Not expensive. It is not your top of the line restaurant. More a fast food, but ok.

Sabarro was right next door to the Doubletree in Times Square. You can probably find a thousand places to get a slice of pie in NY, but this was as good as any I've ever had.

Very impressed how our tour group of 200 people were handled. Great buffet. Great pizza. Friendly staff. More room than it looks like.

The pizza is average. The place hasn't changed for years. Grab a quick slice at a cheap price and move on.

Had a late lunch here of pizza and garlic bread. The pizza was delicious and after a days shopping it was quick and tasty. Self service and really busy. There is hot good and a salsa bar as well do suits everyone.

Huge pieces of pizza so one is quite enough, large range of choices of food, from spaghetti to pasta to garlic bread and dough balls. Great value for money and filling!

My son (21 yrs old) went in to the restaurants (the door was open) and asked if they served a particular meal. The lady aggressively stated that they were shut and he said he just wanted to know if they served a particular item. She was very aggressive with him as if she was shouting at her kids at home, she then turned her back on him as he was speaking to her. I got my son out of there, what horrific customer service! Ps if you’re closed then lock the door - customers aren’t mind readers and if you get asked a simple question answer it simply without bawling at someone who is bewildered by your attitude: do you not pay your staff enough Sbarro?!!

Popular pizza place for a quick bite. We stopped for a late night snack and there we alot of people in the dining area. Nothing spectacular but it's what I expected for fast food. Location right on Times Square and near our hotel.

Terrible, set price but you pay extra for drinks,no plates but plastic trays and knives and forks which snapped in half when trying to cut the bacon, you even have to clear your own table. This place set the standard for the rest of our trip by us checking if it was proper crockery before going in.

This place has a deli type service but you will find the staff all very helpful and cordial. We had one lunch there, the four of us choose the pizza and can say it was delicious. Can not give a review on other food there.

We went out to dinner and a play and our kids 11, 14 and 20 had Sabarro and were pleased with it. Close to our hotel, the W, as well.

Sbarro is open very late, as most things are on Times Square. The food was good. It was crowded even at 10:30 pm, but there was plenty of seating and it was nice and clean. Overall good experience.

I love mushroom pizza and this was good for the price! It was busy and bustling and super quick, which is what we needed at the time.

Everyone has their own thoughts on NYC best pizza but I can never resist a slice of sbarro. It's always a perfect way to refuel when sightseeing.

We were in a hurry to grab something and it was fast and easy.

This restaurant is in the heart of Times Square, so after a show...whether you are hungry for a full dinner, they have a full buffett, to just wanting to get dessert...this is the place to be...plenty of seating and their is food for everyone...even the healthy conscious ones!!!!

Yeah, I know...Sabarro's, like in the airports and the malls. But no, it's not. Yeah, it's got the same pizza, but it's also got a pasta station, a salad bar, and the gelato in the window is what drew us into the shop. The gelato is great. Everything else is ok, and very reasonably priced for the area. But the thing that was REALLY special for us is that it's a nice place, with comfortable tables, reasonably clean bathrooms, and they didn't seem to be in a hurry to rush you out. We were a couple of hours early for a play, and had nowhere else to go. We went downstairs, where it was quieter. We found a table. We plugged our IPhone in and charged them. I can't guarantee that they'll always allow this, but if you're a quiet group, and you've got some of their food on the table, I don't think that they'll chase you away. We were so pleased by it, that we headed back again a couple of days later. Besides the convenience, that gelato was the best that I found in NYC. We even split a slice of the pizza the second time around...free, by the way, since I'd kept the receipt from the first visit and filled out the review of the place. It was a very nice place.

Ate lunch here twice while in NYC for a conference. A good quick lunch. Food service area appeared clean and orderly. Staff was actually not very polite or friendly and dining area was untidy, but overall pretty good.

This is located right in the heart of Times Square and is very handy to grab a quick slice of pizza. We stopped by not wanting to spend a lot of time eating so that we could see more of the City. Perfect place for a quick bite.

Had breakfast lunch and dinner while at New York. Good value for money and very quick and helpful staff

We ate several times at the joint coz being muslims, margarita pizzas were most handy for us, they had more variety like olive and jalapeno, mushroom and red onion and all for us to survive over. loved it!

You have to queue for your pizza and freshly served, don't take ice cream, the dining area not so clean

We had pizza and it was great, great crust and the staff were pretty good as well, very busy and pretty clean.

Proximity to hotel and a quick bite before going on to the Javits Convention Centre. Unappetising pizza slice (serves me right for eating unhealthily first thing in the morning) and restaurant looked unkempt.

Earl catering to the tourist market, nevertheless the slight of spinach and egg pizza with the buffet salad was delicious. Others in our group were not so happy with the grease on the buffet food but it's the best you are going to find at that end of New York.

Loved the food! It was economical, delicious, and the staff is great. I have told everyone that I know about this place! It is great!

I was tired after a long night of 4th of July activities and this place provided the perfect junk to hit the spot! It's fast food but you can't beat it with a stick. The place was clean, the service was average but you don't visit these places looking for world class waiter service. I'll take Sabbarro on a late night anytime!

for the 1st time I've bought 1 slice pizza only. normally where i'm from you buy the whole box with 8 small or medium slices of pizza. but for the best 1 slice pizza sabarros is the place.

On a recent trip to New York we discovered Sabarros close to Times Square. Their all you can eat breakfast is $9.99 and really good value. There is a large range of good available to suit everyone. They do an amazing dinner range too. Give it a try!

nothing to write home about. I like original NYC pizza This to me was airport food, Ny has way better Pizza than Sabarro's pizza

The food is like an Italian fast food restaurant, ideal for a quick Italian meal especially if you're near Madison Square Garden.

ideal if you want a cheap and cheerful dinner but it wasnt worth what you pay, Better to go to Smilers diner at the other corner of the block

Tourist Trap, yet the kids were very happy with the food and service received! Food quality was good and Pizza were fresh.

I think 1 pizza would be like a whole meal. Its juicy and keeps up to the NYC pizza image. You can try the chicken Stromboli. Chicken and mushroom pizza are my favourite.

$9.95 per person, breakfast buffet, not including coffee or drinks. It was ok, the scrambled eggs were good but the pancakes, waffles etc were either dry or soggy. Not bad but did have better. Good selection of fruit. Excellent coffee.

If your looking for a cheap, substantial and tasty meal/snack whilst on the go in New York then this is the place to go!

We were meant to go to Ellen's Stardust Diner but the queue to get in was crazy so we went round the corner and found this place. $8.89 all you can eat breakfast buffet - you cannot go wrong! Paid first, got food, then realised I didn't have anything to eat it with. I asked at the counter for a knife and fork and you'd think I'd just asked the cashier for a million bucks. She reluctantly handed them to me after asking if I'd paid (despite being the one who served me 30 seconds prior!), whereas my mum was given hers with her receipt. Food is buffet style. Selection of 'hot and cold buffet' - fruits, mostly melon, porridge, bacon, sausage, pancakes, eggs, maple syrup. YUM. We loved this company so much that we went a further two times before we went home, there are a few Sbarro's dotted around, we went to different ones but all the same food. Great for a quick dinner too!

I would say skip this unless your starving, hung over or broke. The pizza is horrid as is what they called garlic bread. Has all the ambiance of a school cafeteria. Service average.

Good varieties of Italian food, buffet food was very tasty. Pizza selection is too good even for vegetarians. Delicious Food

A lot of food, but the place not very clean and the food greasy!!!

We stumbled in here for a quick lunch in an ignorant haze on our first day in NYC. If you want fast food it is better than McDonalds. But still, pretty ordinary.

The restaurant is in a very good location and the prices are very reasonable. The cheesecake was very good and they have plenty of topping to add. Although the pizza is very, very greasy, we were able to drip a half a glass of grease into one of our glasses. The toppings could not stay on top of the pizza because of all the grease. Definitely don't plan on eating here again, too many other better choices.

5th Ave location great for a meal with a family. Not only pizza but they serve pasta dishes too. Good for a bite to eat without breaking the bank.

$8.99 all you can eat breakfast, if you like eggy bread, eggs and grease. Surly staff expected in NYC but these guys take it to a level yellow cab drivers aspire to

What an amazing idea. The price you pay was decided by weight. There was a lot of choice of salads fruit, pizza pasta breads, as well as large rang3e of beverages. Excellent value for money

Enjoyed a selection of delicious pizza slices, which were fresh, warm and reasonably priced. Large selection of fresh looking pasta was also available. Plenty of seating and a good choice if looking for a quick, tasty Italian meal.

Good fast food Italian eatery. we purchased a combo. More pricey then but home but its nyc so yeah of course! I had a pepperoni and cheese stromboli with baked ziti with pasta sauce on top of it and a sierra mist fountain drink. The meal was delicious. Hot and fresh! New York pizza really is the best!

Sabarro on 47th is a quick fix for a meal when you have been to a matinee and are on your way to an evening show. The food is always fresh and good. Plus you can grab a beer or wine to go with it. It sure is handy when you don't have time for a sit-down 4 star meal!

Pizza to die for!!!! There was a buffet that made you drool it looked so delicious! Extremely clean and fantastic employees! Very friendly and helpful! A+++++

pizza galore. nothing beats a good ny piece of pie. and im not talking pie im talking pizza. mmmm very good this place is excellent i could eat here every day of the week just thinking about it makes me want to order some yum.

When this name comes to you mind you do not think of a nice sit down place. Its like a quick grab and go place. You get good Stromboli and pizza slices. Always a good bite post a hard days work.

Italian fast food, pizza, salad that sort thing. Not every meal has to be a memorable experience, sometimes you just need to grab something to fill a gap and move on with more important things. And this is the place for that! Loud, crowded, the staff were scrapping among themselves, not entirely clear for first time users where you are meant to order/pay/weigh your salads etc. If you survive the mayhem the food is not bad. Probably the Times Square branch is more like this than others. If you can get somewhere to sit it is a good option if you just want to grab something to eat so you can carry on with other stuff.

That is what I tell people who go to NYC who have never been. There are mom and pop pizza joints on almost every corner so why would you ever go to a Sabarro which can be found in most malls all across the U.S. while in NYC? A co-worker of mine ordered carryout on his own without asking the group so we settled on Sabrarro. The pizza tasted okay and was just like those you eat in the malls. Decent but many better options in NYC.

There was one across from our hotel. Great for a snack on the run. Lots of variety, fast and tasty and not a burger.

A wide variety of tasty food...you will find an open buffet , take plates on your tray and go to casheir...you will pay according to the plate weight...very nice pasta , pizza and salads beside meat , chicken and soup..very reasonable price for a good meal in the middle of most expensive spot in Manhatten...about $ 12-15 per person including soft drink. Enjoy a tasty Italian meal.

My recent experience was horrible and insulting. First I would like to say that the mall itself has no air working which made my experience even worse. As a diabetic my sugar starting dropping, while waiting in line for six minutes for a drink. The person who was at the register (the manager) I asked him for a lemonade with no ice. The manager rudely advised me oh we cannot and will not serve you a drink with no ice, it's company policy??? My response was so you're going to serve me something I don't want, and make it a new policy?? His response was take it or leave it.... So I left angry and forced to stand in line even longer at another restaurant. It's various reasons I don't prefer ice in my drink, but I shouldn't be forced to take it (PAY FOR IT)! I will no longer patronize your establishment because of this (manager who advised me he doesn't have a manager) trying to force me to consume and pay for something I don't want!!

Had this right by our hotel. The best freshly made pizza and pasta, and cheap to buy. Also offered a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Well worth a taste :)

average pizza, I had better but it could use a bit cleaning and some change of scenery. I would not go back here because of other restaurant business around here.

If youu are in a hurry, and want some affordable Italian for Lunch I can recommend this plance. Good Italian dishes served in a matter of minutes.

If you're hungry late at night, this place is a great go-to spot in the heart of Times Square.

Pricey, of course, but the pizza wasn't as tastey as it is @ Sabarro in the local mall.

This is to be quick. Breakfast all you can eat for just $9.99 and the regular buffet for lunch and dinner for $7.99/lb! I was there a few times because it´s fast. If you prefer, they have also a la carte and you can have basically the same food that is on the buffet. Also great pizza!!

Honestly, don t go. We took a salad and a slice of pizza. The salad was tiny and tasteless. The pizza was lower than average, though not as bad as the salad. Even for a quick fix, it does not worth it, with the better options available around it.

We luv Sbarro! The one at times square has a buffet that is Halal but as we weren't very peckish we grabbed a quick slice.

Stopped here a few times for slices, but on our last night we got a whole 'pie', half pepperoni, half margherita. There was loads of seating downstairs, so we waited down there and our pizza was brought to us. Must have been around 5 or 6pm and it was pretty quiet! The pizza was bloody delicious!!! Staff were friendly and very good pricing. Would recommend big time and will definitely return if i'm ever in New York.

This restaurant can only be described as rubbish. We went off breakfast and wish we had not. Food was dreadful, it looked like it had been sitting there for hours, the quality of food was poor, the selection just dull and extremely limited, no drinks included and the service was just shocking- the staff were ignorant! Eat anywhere else but there!!

I have eaten at Sabarro in the past as a last-resort and every time I always think: "Why did I eat here?" The food is always undercooked or overcooked. The Pizza is always gooey, and the drinks are always over-priced. Never mind that the food looks delicious behind the glass sneeze-guard. When you taste it, it's simply awful. On this last visit I had the baked Ziti (over cooked and gooey) with a 'free', undercooked, break stick. The Pizza was even worse. Just terrible. I noticed that they had baked chicken and rice but I was not brave enough to try any of that. Dessert was simply out of the question! I just loved the workers who were coming in and out of the back kitchen area with food in their hands, no hair nets and the most filthy aprons and work shoes I have ever seen. I've seen cleaner workers in slaughter houses. I give it a two because it's a good spot to waste time between shopping or a show. But I can't figure out how or why they are still in business...

This is the best restaurant that I visited in NY. I liked it mostly because of the food, the variety and the excellent prices. Also, the location of the restaurant is really attractive.

Little expensive and probably not the best New York City pizza but it worked in a pinch. The place was fairly clean.

Well prepared food and exceptionally nice staff. Small tables crowded together makes for meeting new people and talking about their NYC experiences.

After a long flight, lost luggage, taxi ride in rush hour Sbarro served the purpose. It was a couple of doors from the hotel - got a Stromboli to go - it was convenient for two exhausted travelers. No complaints - it is exactly as expected. If you're in a pinch it works.

We went in one night for pizza. We noticed that the pizza did not look fresh and it was overpriced. We left and went to our 99 cent pizza a few blocks away. We did see that they had a sign for buffet. The next night we went for the buffet. Their buffet is expensive, and you can only select 3 items from the selections, and you cannot go back for refills. We left again. They have a breakfast buffet, but we did not return for it.

Coming into NYC alone sometimes I appreciate dining at these "quasi" fast-food places since I inevitably am alone on these visits. My typical "fare" is the "penne vodka" and either a small bottle of merlot or a beer. The penne are tasty and am typically happy with the dining here. The seating is more than adequate being located just north of Times Square there is also a lower dining hall with plenty of seating.

The first couple bites are good; but be prepared it's greasy & not really good for you. There is much better Italian food out there, but not bad for a quick fix.

Pasta and pizza didn't taste bad but they didn't taste fresh. It's a good enough meal just to satisfy your hunger but would not recommend it.

Always thought their pizza, especially Sicilian was good. Can be comfortable depending on the time of visit, if not crowded.

Good for a quick slice of pizza . Ok value for money for Times Square. Good choice including pizza pie

It was fairly priced and decent tasting, the line however was very long and the water overpriced. The gelato was tasty.

Stopped in for pizza after seeing Wicked. This was close to Double Tree where we were staying. The Pizza was cold and it was down right dirty downstairs where you eat.

Went to the M&M store on the northern end of Times Square and then over to the Hershey store across the street (how convenient!). Did not have dinner before the play so we stopped in at Sabarro which is a block north of Times Square. Lots of good food and nice people. It was not crowded and we got a large table easily. For a quick bite to eat close to Times Square and not much money, this is an easy choice.

Uses this place whenever we need a fast light snack. Plenty of choices and both up and down stairs to sit.

When in Nyc and looking for a great slice, go to a family owned neighbourhood pizzeria, the quality is far superior and the experience far more authentic

i love this food. i know i know. its greasy and very unhealthy. tastes great. fast food. cheap. and they serve big portions. love the stromboli. and the garlic bread and sauce too. yummm

Went to grab my 7 yo a slice after seeing the Spiderman play at about 11pm when all the other theaters let out...which happens every night...you think they would be prepared for a slight crowd rush..nope, not here. Food was poor quality and quanity. I should have known better from a rest area staple.

it is a nice place to get good cheap meals with vegetables .it is a good salad .bar.very nice in this city

We stopped here for lunch during our NYC trip. Best value for food we got our entire trip! Pricing with their restaurant was clean and food was what you expected.

This fast food joint was right by our hotel and sadly we were disappointed with the quality of food... plus it was expensive for what we got.

My kids and I thought we would save money by eating Sabarro's Time Square location's Breakfast Buffet. It appeared to be a great deal at $8 for all you can eat. Everything from the eggs to the bacon to the french toast was gross. Don't waste your money.

Buffet style eating. Your plate is weighed at the till and charged accordingly. Food was good considering it's a buffet, not much pizza choice but it was good too. Extremely busy so don't expect it to be spotless. If your on a budget this is the place to eat

First ever visit and the food is lovely. We had the buffet and pizza. Fantastic quality for the price we paid. However, outside were young men selling their cds, they turned quite abusive when we didn’t want to buy anything. The restaurant should move them on as this was very scary.

Seriously, we eat here every time we visit, because well, its convenient, quick and inexpensive. Each time we went, its always clean, easy access and open late.

We needed a late night snack. Stopped for slice of pizza, in my opinion undercooked. Beer was $5.99 a bottle. Unfriendly cashiers. It served the purpose.

The pizza is good, though not labelled, so you don't know what you're getting or how much it costs and the service is some of the most terse and rudest I've ever received. Good for a quick bite, but be sure to know what you want when it's your turn to be served or you will get shouted at! I can only assume that Sbarro is Italian for rude!

Found Sabarro's by mistake but sooo glad we did. Awesome pizzas and Italian food and CHEAP. Order upstairs and eat downstairs - great experience

Found this place walking back from Times Square. It simple, this place is an excellent choice for a quick or long bite. Their buffet offering was really scrumptious and we ate every drop of food we selected. To top it off we also shared a slice of their cheesecake which was superb. It appears that this particular store also stays open a little later than others being close to the always buzzing Times Square. All I can say is well done and all around me people looked very happy...great pizza options too.

This is always an easy and inexpensive place to eat in NYC, especially with kids. The location in Times Square has pretty expansive seating in the basement, as well as restrooms, so it's a good place to stop and rest your feet for a bit.

The place is for fast food and open until late so its convenient to stave the hunger, staff is nice, pizza is edible, but lasagna is not recommended.

We got here as they were switching over to lunch around 10:30 and were told not to take any of the lunch stuff as we were paying for the breakfast. Everything was luke warm, the bacon, the pancakes, the potatoes. Drinks were not included. My niece said that the coffee was not that good. We would not go back.

Just off of Time's Square, we discovered this eatery for lunch one day. A buffet full of Italian food, polite and courteous employees, relaxing atmosphere and super clean.

We go to Sbarro every time we stay in Times Square. It is an easy way to get a quick full meal at a decent price. Food is chosen buffet style and is paid for by the pound. Wine and beer as well as desserts are also available.

If you get there early enough probably better than just before they switch over to lunch buffet. And the lunch buffet looked delicious if i was the first one to eat

Located right next door to where we stayed, so very convenient to pick up a slice of pizza or some pasta. Tasty food as well.

Used this place for breakfast a couple of days as offered a buffet service. Generally good. Fresh melon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, waffles plus other options. Reasonably priced

Come on... you're in NYC!!! you want some magical NYC pizza! So you stop at SABARRO! It's the same crap you can get at the mall back in your home town. It's big sliced, oily, cheesy, slimy goodness!! What more do you expect from mall pizza? Enjoy it!!!
Easy and quick
Breakfast was $9.95 unlimited Buffet. At lunch, we had a good pizza at reasonable prize. Service is Ok The restrooms are no so clean
