Very pleasant setting. We opted to sit outdoors in their semi-enclosed space, which was comfortable. Our waiter was attentive and polite. The food was extremely well prepared. If we had been in town longer, I definitely would have gone back for dinner.

Point blank , the service at this location was not welcoming at all. I do not plan on visiting in the future . The person that took my takeout order handed me my bag with entree without saying thank you or anything. He just handed it over, barely even acknowledging my presence … no words … just walked away. Please coach staff on being gracious to not only dine in guests but to take out guests as well .

Came here for a nice pasta dinner the night before running the marathon. I had been to the Serafina in meatpacking, but really enjoyed the outdoor seating of the Tribeca location. My friend and I got the burrata with tomatoes, orecchiette and spaghetti aglio e olio. Everything was fantastic and the service was great. I’m giving this pasta all the credit for PR-ing the marathon by over 10 min.

Restaurant that we found by chance but with which we fell in love. Mauro, who I think is the owner, gave us good advice on what to eat and treated us like old friends, even though it was actually the first time we sat in his restaurant. We ate pasta and pizza and I have to tell the truth, for New York, it was all very good. To end on a high note, Mauro also offered us tiramisu (very good). Low prices compared to average. I highly recommend it, especially if you sleep in the central park, given that there is an agreement with the hotel. Great Mauro!!!

Try to get a window table to watch the NYC parade of people any day of the week. the food is great, the service OK, but the view is something. You never know who is going to walk by the restaurant.

First night we shared a Goat Cheese, eggplant and roasted pepper pizza. It was delicious. For breakfast we had Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. They were the best I ever had. For dinner the next night I had Bass with roasted eggplant on the side. Very good.

Excellent is nothing short of! We had dinner on Christmas Eve, we ate very good quality food, especially meat. from fillet to steak. Never eaten so good. Plus excellent Italian wine, Montepulciano. Friendly and welcoming staff. The professionalism of the manager, impeccable. 10 and praise!

Great pizza, wood oven right in the restaurant area. Dessert for yummy. Lemon ricotta pancakes for brunch even better.

The food here is amazing!! the truffle Pizza is to die for. the homemade short rib pasta and the tiramisu are life-changing!! There is a great wine and cocktail list, I also had the lemon Ricotta Pancakes that were great for breakfast.

This was our last day in NY and we wanted some down-home Italian cookin. The service was great, the food was delicious and the wine was really good as well! We were surprised at how many places didn’t have a large selection of wines. This place didn’t either but what we picked really worked. The kids were happy and so were the adults. Great ending to a fabulous NYC vacation!

Perfect for travelers, tourists, business meetings or folks who like wood fired pizzas. Sure its a little pricey but you're in Soho. Location can't be beat. They let us sit and chat for hours. Very pleasant. Probably need a reservation.

We went here to celebrate a graduation, following my daughter's suggestion. A nice evening allowed the windows to be open. We arrived around 8pm, didn't have a reservation, but got a table in a few minutes. Everyone's meal was delicious- I enjoyed a primavera dish which had an excellent cherry tomato sauce. The food was served quickly & mine remained HOT for quite some time. The wine selection was good- I found a super tasty Sancerre from the Loire Valley. Desserts were fabulous- green apple torte, Torta Della Nonna & profiteroles were shared & really enjoyed.

The hostess seated us in an area that a large party had reserved. When the party arrived they asked management to reseat us and they ignored their request. We had a very unpleasant experience and when we said something to mangement they blamed us for not asking them to move us. We did not enjoy our pricey dinner and because of their attitude we will never return.

We stumbled upon this place by accident after leaving another restaurant that didn't fit our vibe. We were so happy we didi! Serafina was a block away from our hotel, and this was our first night in NYC after a long day of travel. After being seated in a great spot in small dining room in the rear, my sister and I felt right at home. The wait staff treated us like royalty, the food was amazing, and the location was great. I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was to die for! Sis had the farfalle al limoncello that we both said was heaven on earth! Canoli for desert was just the perfect ending to the night! Even the bread was great, even though we did have to pay for it. All in all we had a fabulous meal and would definitely go back.

Had the Napoletana Pizza which was excellent, colleague had the Tuna Tartare Di Sophia - which was absolutely outstanding! I will definitely be going back - expensive but worth it.

Went here for a family gathering. Everyone liked it and service was good. Avocado toast was awesome. Could become a regular.

Staff, was so friendly, helpful, and food was excellent! Italian flavors were delish, margharita pizza was light but full of flavor, def would go back. Sitting outside was perfect.

I had dinner with my friends for three days since the restaurant was located under our hotel and therefore after a whole day of kilometers through the streets of NY it was a convenient solution, perhaps it is not a cheap place for us Italians because you pay on average with one course each costs around 50/60 USD but I must admit that the quality is high regardless you are in NY where everything is more expensive

Don't believe the good reviews, view recent ones from google, Service was awful, very unpleasant waiter + we asked for coca cola and they gave us something awful which wasn't coca cola for sure , they couldn't even tell us what it was.. we just went away a restaurant which can't even provide the correct soda.. what a joke

We had a dinner reunion and the manager/waitress were fantastic! We had 6;30 reservations on a Friday night ended up staying for almost 2 hours. Thanks for letting us have so much time. We ordered wine, and the Miste Verde salads to start. For entrees we had the branzino, the farfalle al limoncello, and the ratatouille. For our desserts we all ordered the gelato. Everything was quite good and we enjoyed our reunion!

We had a very enjoyable few hours drinking cocktails and sharing pizza and salad. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Went with 2 children; there is a full children's menu. The child's pizza was so good we all took small tastes.

Had breakfast here twice on our recent visit. Food (eggs Benedict, omelets, French toast) was great. Fresh squeezed orange juice and specialty coffees add to the meal, and open air seating is available if the weather is good.

We ate breakfast and dinner here during our stay. Not always the cheapest but excellent food. Breakfast was good with a wide choice and free coffee refills. Dinner menu also good, we had pizza one night which was great, I think they have their own pizza oven. It was always busy and buzzing at night. Staff very friendly.

Saturday morning brunch is a very busy time with young families with kids getting together after sports or just meeting friends. When this restaurant is filled, the 4 solid walls, brick and glass, make the room extremely noisy. When I asked our server, Patricia, to talk louder so I could hear her, she maintained her "low talking" voice. I asked to to come close so I could hear her, she didn't budge. She willfully made it impossible to difficult to hear her. As we left I spoke to the manager, Pablo, and upon hearing my complaint said, "I cannot ask other tables to quieten down". I told him again that Patricia's insistence on using her "low talking" voice was the problem. The families with kids on Saturday morning were not the problem. Neither Patricia nor Pablo seemed to care if I was able to hear and communicate with our server. We will not return. Too many options in NYC for a staff that "gets it" and cares.

Excellent food and a super friendly staff! We would definitely recommend it. If you come to New York you have got to visit this! Best food experience in New York during our week stay

Really enjoyed lunch with friends here — great food, good drink, and really great service. The food was really delicious, with nice flavors in Pappardelle Short Rib, but nothing over-powering, although I was looking longingly at my friends Halibut, which looked awesome. Desserts measured up to the main course, and equally pleasing.

At 30$ you would expect more than a toast with eggs and avocado, juice and coffee It is a rip-off but other nearby options don’t open until 10 am Perhaps opt for the Starbucks next door

It is an excellent restaurant with great hospitality and very refined dishes. The decoration is beautiful, we want to go back.

We were sat fast on a Monday and the service was great. The food was very delicious, I had the lasagna. We sat outside and the music level was just right. You could enjoy it if you wanted but it also didn't drown out conversion.

The best pizza I think I've had. Excellent cocktails and stellar service. Calamari and bruschetta were fresh and delicious too. Beautiful space to enjoy a great lunch or dinner. Try to snag a table close-ish to the street, makes for great views and people watching. :)

Great pizza!!! Horrible service, as we finished main dish - pizza we are sitting and waiting and waiting. I asked manager CARLOS if we can get coffee answer was yes and we ordered, after 20 min we asked where is a coffee “is coming”, 10 more minutes NO COFFEE We call the manager CARLOs and answer was « we have to wait if we want the coffee » as he is busy. Service was not polite and no one dosent care about the customers., men’s washrooms dirty and no soap and sanitizer. No owner, no other manager present in a restaurant. If you want GOOD pizza (thanks for lady who made the pizza) you can go but do not expect great service!!!

very knowledgeable bartenders and superb pasta dishes. My fav is the tagliatelle with cream sauce. Lots of great wine, and by the glass ranging from Napa to NZ to SAfrica to Tuscany. Not cheap, but well sourced and come with solid pairing recommendations by the staff.

The best pizza that I’ve eaten! I ate the truffle pizza, it’s was delicious!!! My husband ate the salame pizza! Both were fantastic!

Went for lunch. It’s a small but nice looking restaurant and it’s even nicer when all the floor to ceiling windows are completely open. We were seated quickly and our server came over immediately. But the rest of the service was quite slow. We ordered the fried calamari. It was quite dry because it was over fried. Not great. Now it took like 20 minutes to get our entree. My vegetable platter dish which was spaghetti squash with mixed vegetables was delicious. But my brother’s rigatoni with Bolognese sauce was way too salty. Overall a disappointment but our server was nice and it’s a nice looking restaurant.

A male who was putting the tables together he was a older man. Not very friendly he was giving dirty looks towards our table because our son was unhappy with his ice cream and complaining. So rude!!! A restaurants service should be outstanding, friendly, smilies at all times. The customers are the ones that’s make a business survive without us their would be no restaurant!!!! If he was the manager he should he should be fired. He made us feel uncomfortable and that’s not a good feeling when going out to dinner. The food was average!!

Christmas dinner with the family, immediately we were greeted by the manager with a big smile and came to make sure how dinner was going. Excellent and impeccable service. We started with excellent appetizers accompanied by a fantastic crispy focaccia; we continued with a selection of meats to say excellent is little, all accompanied by an excellent Montepulciano Abruzzo reserve. I highly recommend it.

We had a table on the rooftop with a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food came very quickly, 2 pizzas and one Vongole pasta. Everything was delicious. The cocktails were good too! Prices reasonable for New York.

Has been a good experience, the pizza has been perfect but I recommend you the Carbonara.... grate!! The design of the restaurant is incredible You need to go!

Would only dine here again because the food was so good. Food was a 5, service was a 1, so rating it a 3. Service was awful. We were seated next to a large party who our server was also waiting on. This was part of the problem (but the bigger part of the problem is that the server should pick a new career). My friend and I arrived late (our other friends were already there). Took over 30 minutes for the server to come take our drink order and when he did, he was short and rude. Took forever to get our drinks and then forever for him to come back to take our order. I said something to the manager and then the manager came over with the server and made it really uncomfortable for all of us by scolding him in front of us. Finally took our dinner order by saying "what you want". Just not fitting for this place. Our pastas were outstanding. We ate the Farfalle al Limoncello, the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Spaghetti All'aragosta. All really delicious. Tip to management, have the level of service match the food you serve.

Friendly staff, exceptional ambiance, and serafina Champagne was delicious. Very clean bathrooms. Highly recommend the chocolate Gelati

Serafina provides an excellent Italian lunch and other dishes, usually available with interesting specials. I had the daily special of pasta with chopped octopus; which was really good.

As a self confessed Serafina addict, I was delighted to find that we had one attached our hotel on our latest trip to NYCl! This restaurant offers great food in a good location, right next to the Frederick Hotel and Chambers Street Subway station. The Truffle Ravioli, Farfalle al Limoncello and the 'Chocolate Sensation' cake are all amazing...and everything else on the menu looks delicious as well! Staff are always efficient and friendly, and helpful with menu choices and recommendations. Will definitely be back again for a visit soon!

Went there for dinner, ordered their special seafood pasta and I find a bit spicy. You may want to order other recipes in the menu.

We are very impressed with the story of Vittorio Assaf & Fabio Granato and the creation of the Serafina Restaurant Group! They have amazing restaurants everywhere!! My Partner Henry and I usually eat out on the Friday after Thanksgiving to get away from the "turkey" of it all. We settled on Serafina Tribeca on the ground floor of The Frederick Hotel. Upon entry, I'd have to say that Serafina Tribeca is a sexy restaurant however- it is suitable for families and children who were dining all around us (don't know exactly how they pulled that off but BRAVO!) We met the manager Christian and were seated quickly to a romantic table for two. He quickly spoke to our server Claudia who in turn appeared with a bottle of Prosecco that apparently has been chilling. Christian poured 2 beautiful glasses with the prosecco and stated, "This beautiful bottle is compliments of your beautiful friend - Betsy!"' Betsy Mujica is the Amazing Director of Sales at the Serafina Beach Hotel (where Henry and I will spend my birthday, 1st week in December) located in Puerto Rico and is the first boutique hotel owned by Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato- creators of the Serafina Restaurant Group... you'll hear all about THAT trip in "TRIPS" (videos, attractions, pics, etc.,) after our stay. So, Henry and I began eating the menu with our eager hungry eyes- everything sounded so good: Avocado & Artichoke Tartare, Risotto Veuve Clicquot with Truffles, Spaghetti All' Aragosta (Lobster), Pan Seared Scallops, Castata Allá Florentina (RibEye)... and just when I was about to tell Henry what I wanted, Christian returned with another surprise. Betsy, all the way from Puerto Rico, was also gifting us one of the Gourmet Di Serafina Pizzas. The gesture was beautiful, the way Betsy has always treated us, but our eyes already told our appetites what they wanted. What were we to do? The Pizza Chef Ricardo brought us a delicious Tartufo Nero Pizza. It's made from a secret recipe, a bouquet of Italian cheeses and black truffles. The fragrant pizza almost made me cry! Every bite was heaven! However we had a dilemma: do we eat the incredible pizza, grab dessert and leave -or- do we try to eat just one slice each and order meals from the menu? The latter won and we asked Claudia to box up our amazing pizza (it was hard to part with it but then Henry reminded me that we can finish enjoying it tomorrow for lunch!) and please bring back those menus. We enjoyed an amazing carpaccio which we agreed was the thinnest and most-flavorful ever! I recommend that you try carpaccio if the restaurant offers it. It's a great indicator of what a restaurant can do with delicate simple raw ingredients. Henry had the Filet Mignon "Al Pepe Verde" and it was superb. The right temp was executed perfectly and it sliced like butter. The green peppercorn sauce was delicious and the french fries were crisp. I settled upon the Veal Scaloppine Al Limone and this time, I did cry. My delicious veal was served with fresh brócoli and rosemary roasted potatoes- amazing! We thank you so much Chef Louis for sharing your artistry with us! We toasted our last glass of prosecco to Betsy, wthanked Christian, Claudia and the Chefs, paid our check (very reasonable), grabbed our box of truffle pizza and into the cold night we went heading back to Jersey. I tell you what, I can't wait for lunch tomorrow! Thanks again Betsy!!

Came across this after a walk on the HighLine. Many other places we passed had lines. I ordered brioche French toast and only ate half because it didn’t seem cooked. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good. Just felt it wasn’t worth the cost. Had a much better brunch the day before at Dos Camino’s. Much more food and about the same price.

My coworkers and I came here for after work drinks and food. There was plenty of space at the bar so we sat there. They offer Happy Hour specials so take advantage of those as they have great deals. We also split some appetizers which were very good. Recommended for business or casual meals. Prices run mid-range.

Stopped in for lunch while walking to the Financial District and Serafina was a welcome site. Had the Margarita pizza and the sausage pizza; both were excellent. A little pricey for the amount of pizza, but expected for the area.

Good restaurant with beautiful decoration. Very friendly staff. The dishes are good but expensive for the type of dish.

We came in for lunch and sat by the large opened doors with our 3 y o. We ordered calamari to start, then pizzas and a kale salad. There was a wedding rehearsal luncheon behind us, luckily they already got served otherwise we’d be waiting awhile. Once our food came, we were joined by 2 bees 🐝🐝 that wouldn’t leave our table. They swarmed around us for 10 min. Food was good, thanks.

Service at Serafina was horrible. It took about 20minutes to get a cappuccino and even longer to get breakfast.

Good selection of salads, pasta, etc. I had a good avocado and shrimp salad for lunch. Prompt, friendly service.

My husband had an individual pizza and I enjoyed my eggplant.... But watching others made it even more enjoyable...

Recomend for a great pizza! My wife had the tartufo (truffle) ... unbelievable!!! Great place for couples and friends!

The restaurant was near-empty for a late week-day breakfast with a friend. The waiter was really bad, I don't think we even got a cup of coffee for at least 20 minutes. And then when I asked for a second it didn't arrive until I was done anyway. The omelet was delicious though. Not the end of the world. In the neighborhood there are plenty of other places.

We have been to many Serafinas and this one is far the best! They especially took great care of my family during covid with their heated outdoor patio and quick delivery. Every dish is done well and with consistency. My personal fave is the truffle pizza. I recently discovered Farinella pizza uptown, hmmm and see a similar one under Serafina to go banner opened on 8th street, but we need gourmet slices for takeout in Tribeca also, really there are so choices now other the gross $0.99 slices on Canal street.

lovely staff and as a picky eater the simple margarita pizza was perfect and also the perfect size would 100% recommend and managed to get in without a reservation how ever may be needed at peak times as it got a little busier during our meal.

While traveling on business, I often dine alone. At Serafina, 95 W Broadway, it was unusually fun. I had dinner just before sunset, in January, so early dinner. I sat outside, despite the cold, in the heated and gorgeous space, just outside the restaurant. The picture shows how lovely were the lights and decor, along with the magic of the city at this early evening time, The menu made it hard to choose. The soup was sublime. And the scallops/shrimp were so generous that I could not finish it all, despite how wonderful it was. The wait staff were professional, helpful and made me feel welcome. That does not always happen with a single woman diner. I thought that I was settling because I was too tired for anything but the restaurant next to the hotel. Serafina, you gave me a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.

I didn't know it before, it seems to be some sort of restaurant-chain, anyways, their food is amazing. Authentic, with flavor and character. Service is a kind of rushed, but nothing to be displeased about. First class "Mamma" pasta and souce. Heart hot, a lot better than in Italy or Brazil the House of Italia's nonnas.

5 of us had dinner here this week and every dish was superb. Spag bol, hake with truffles, ravioli everything was excellent as were deserts. Wine also great, we enjoyed a Napa Chardonnay @ $60. The whole meal including wine was $280 + tip for 5 of us.

Had a reservation for Saturday night and seated right away. Service was good. Food was prompt. Everyone liked their meal with the exception of the kale salad. It was really salty. Almost too salty to eat, even the chicken. It would be nice to serve a bread basket at an Italian restaurant.

My daughter and I slipped into Serafina before heading to the Lincoln Center on the subway (steps away). We needed to eat quickly, and the staff were incredibly accommodating of our rushed request. The food was excellent. The pizza was the best I had the whole time I was NYC (and I ate pizza three nights in a row, so that's saying something). The calamari was delicious too. Breaded and fried just right. An appealing wine list as well. Thanks for everything!

The food here is outstanding as are the cocktails and service! Their Sunday brunch is delicious and it is a great spot for people watching and enjoying food with friends.

My 7 year old is a fashionista and a lady who loves to lunch. Serafina is perfect because it's fancy but not overly so. The staff is friendly and the food is always just the way it's described on the menu. She never tires of the variety of pizzas. They offer a kids menu, crayons and of course there's dessert. We like to sit inside with a view to the people walking down the street.
Disastrous customer service to go
How does one screw a two pizza and chocolate cake order? Easy! By bringing only chocolate cake and tons of plastic forks. Seriously, what was in the head of the person preparing the order? Was he/she thinking people specifically order one piece of chocolate cake for delivery? Does it really take a nuclear scientist these days to not screw up pizza order? Customer service afterwards was extremely unhelpful, basically unable to solve it in any way with only option being delivering already cold pizza with another driver. Had to ask for refund. That they haven't screwed up yet.
