This was a fun, classy restaurant with an adventurous menu, great craft beers and cocktails and a good wine list. The best part about the restaurant is its location in the Presidio, away from the tourist hot spots, making it quieter but still lively and fun.

This was my second time meeting here for lunch...the food was very good, as was the service...perfect place for a lunch meeting.

If you are near Crissy Field, there are not too many options for food. We found this lovely spot and had a very nice lunch.

Service was very friendly and helpful. The fish (cod) and chips was very good--cod is well battered and fried; the chips (fries) are excellent. The hamburger is very good. The thin Belgium waffles are very good. Nice cocktail and beer selection. Kids menus is very good. Nice indoor or outdoor seating. Nice Letterman park to walk around after dining. We will return.

My husband and I were taken here for dinner by our son and his girlfriend who live in San Fran. They had been for lunch and thought it was a good place for us to have dinner after the Giants game. It was within walking distance from our hotel (down the steep Lyon Steps) and the restaurant is set in the Presidio Park so it was a very nice setting with lots of greenery around the patio. Evenings are cool in Oct but we dressed warmly and the heaters were very effective. I don't think sitting inside would be nearly as nice as the furniture looked quite uncomfortable and the decor is modern and minimalistic. But we loved sitting outside and our server had lots of personality. We asked him to make all the choices and keep bringing us a good assortment of sharing plates until we were full. The food was excellent with such interesting combinations and flavours. And there was a good selection of beers and wines. We were able to take our time and enjoy many, many different plates. We would definitely recommend this patio for a meal.

A very nice restaurant with patio which has a view to the park. Most of the dishes are delicious bit a bit overpriced.

Some of the appetizers are "interesting" (pickled everything?) and probably not great for kids. However, we tried their Sunday special for fried chicken, which was some of the best we've ever had!

The food here is rich and very satisfying. Out of every dish we ordered, not a single one disappointed. Don't miss the cheese dumplings - I wish they had a super-size portion of it! The one downside of the place is that the service wasn't the fastest/attentive - it might have been a function of where we were seated at (private, but also more difficult to see) but I would have loved to see service that matched the level of the food, especially when the restaurant automatically adds a 20% service charge. If you're here, don't forget to take a quick stroll through the nearby Palace of Fine Arts to help the food settle!

In the Presidio park, a large space indoors and out. Heaters were not working so outdoors not a great option. Needed a dairy-free entre and with a lot of maneuvering managed to put together a main. Food was good, not great. FIsh and chips a bit greasy, chips great and coleslaw great.

Interacted with five different staff members before we were seated. We chose a table but the waitress told us to go back to the entrance and check in with a hostess. A pleasant young lady took us to our table and another was explaining the menu when an obsequious young man appeared and shooed her away. He then proceeded to explain what the young lady had already explained. They have a policy of including 20% charge on the bill to cover tips and they are at great pains to explain why and how the money is distributed to all the staff. All very boring and not at all what one wants to be know before you even got a glass of beer in your hand. Sessions is selling itself as a beer "pub". It isn't. I ordered the taster beers because I wanted to try what they had to offer. Three very small tumbler size beers arrived all of which were disappointing. I was expecting real ale but the waiter had no idea what I meant when I asked are they real ales. My wife ordered a beer which came in a 12oz glass with a large head. She also did not drink it something which I have never seen in all our years. She ordered mussels and I ordered beef burger and a cheese plate. The burger was tasty but difficult to justify the price tag $19, The bill came to $104. 12oz beer $7 taster samples(3) $15 Cheese $19 mussels $20 burger $19 service and tax $24.40. The restaurant are in their eighth week and it shows. Maybe they will improve and the staff will not fall over each other trying too hard to be smiley. The policy of automatically adding 20% service charge is wrong headed. Gratuities are supposed to be voluntary. On the basis of the service which we received we would not have added 20% to our bill.

This was our second visit and I'm glad I waited to review. We like to sit at the bar and service was much better this time because of the awesome Jordan. Guy knows his beers, wine etc and very friendly. He told us about the special process for making the fries, which are just outstanding!! We had the mussels and pastrami sandwich, both very good. Fun place to hang out.

Great Beer selection. Modern vibe. I like the tapas concept with small and large plates. We had the pickled vegetables and I would definitely get this again. Service is ok - they had difficulty keeping up with a light crowd, but despite that, I plan to return.

So last night we went to the Palace of Fine Arts to see Bernadette Peters in concert. We wanted to go to dinner beforehand somewhere close and when looking for places that had a 6 o'clock reservations we came across sessions. I don't have any expectations and what we would find;reviews were mixed from 3 to 5 stars depending on where you looked. I loved the inside of the restaurant, nice balance of light and airy with substance. They were very gracious, we were seated pretty quickly. They were really helpful when we explained we were going to the theater and our server felt we had plenty of time. But that's when service got a little wonky. We ordered pretty quickly, going with the sliced meat appetizer and then the hanger steak entrée, the chicken entrée and a burger. I think the kitchen may have been having a bit of a off night; our waiter did mention they were short one staff but it sort of feel like maybe the kitchen was a little short. He came out to tell us that there could be a chance for appetizer would be out after our entrées because of timing in the kitchen and with that be a problem for us. Now I appreciated him asking because in some cases we wouldn't care but it did feel kind of odd. Now we did notice the food coming out looks wonderful. We got our appetizer first, and just finished when our entrées were served. I was sort of underwhelmed with the burger; it was a seared on both sides but nearly raw inside (and had been ordered medium). The hanger steak looked very and tasted good as did the chicken although I have to say that the chicken portion was underwhelming for the price of the entrée. I'm sort of wondering if some of our food may have been held up so that we could eat ourbappetizers first as both the other entrees weren't particularly hot, even though the place themselves were. Luckily they redeemed themselves at the end of the night with a very very good banana nut cake with salted butterscotch ice cream. I could've eaten that as my dinner and been happy. They did remove the cost of the burger from our tab then asked about my not eating it. So while I wouldn't rule out going to Sessions again, I probably wouldn't order the burger. I noticed they do have a squid ink seafood pasta dish that reads good on the menu, that is likely what I want to try next.

Drinks were great - but holy crap the portions were small and oddly portioned! Visited for brunch with 11 family members and found service to be ok. Maybe I'm used to overeating - but I was surprised by the cost of the food in relation to the amount on the plate. Started w. $19 cheese plate which felt like stingy portions. 2 pickled walnuts?! I'm not in love with pickled walnuts - but 2 of them? I mean are they rationing?? Pannenkoek (belgian crepe) with bacon and apple was tasty. Members of family also got the burger which received resounding positive reviews. My cousin got pastrami bagel dish which was a joke for $14. 2 small "house made" bagels together made half a regular sized bagel! The kids pasta dishes were larger than some of the entree servings! It's a gastro-fiasco!!

Sessions is a great hidden gem in the Presidio. Bonus - there's usually free parking available in the area (on Lyon between Chestnut and Lombard). A welcome relief from the cluster that is Chestnut Street. There are so many fun ways to visit Sessions: saddle up to the bar for brunch after a hike through the Presidio (get the Pastrami and Fried Egg dish), or, come here for a nice dinner with your parents who are visiting from out of down. OR, sit on the patio with a group of friends on a nice Sunday Funday. Incredible selection of craft beer, and insanely good food. It's on the pricey side, but the quality of food you get with stunning presentation makes it worth it. The owner Evin is super friendly and passionate about his restaurant!

We enjoyed very much a selection of small plates and wonderful cocktails and wine. The ambience was not too noisy, bright tall ceilings and very casual. Our server was very helpful and friendly as he paced out our small plates and made recommendations. We had only the vegetarian dishes, given a friend was vegetarian and we made a delicious meal.

Had a reservation for lunch, were seated reasonably quickly in the bar. It's a bright, sharp modern place with tasty combinations. The Mahi Mahi Tacos were tasty and you must try the French fries with cheese and bacon jelly. Oddly delicious!

We were walking to a brewery in the Mission area - but came upon this one on our way. It was Saturday on a holiday weekend, and we were able to be seated immediately. They have a fantastic farm-to-table menu and some nice local brews on tap.

Sat at the bar and drank 4 ales all were very good. Had Mad Fritz Belgian, Dubhe Black IPA, Local Brewing Terminal G Belgian IPA and Sierra Nevada Orange Pale Ale. Bartenders were knowlegable about the beers here. It's a higher end bar and restaurant, the prices and clientele reflect this. Bar is spotless, very modern and organized with a good tap system and autoclave for barware. This is not a brewpub as they don't have beer of their own to sell they do however have a couple dozen best picks from all over. I enjoyed the Terminal G the most followed closely by the Black IPA.

Wonderful innovative restaurant in the Presidio but unfortunately has very little signage to let you know where it is...Keep looking though! Fun cocktails Ie. Mos Eisley Mule and for Starters share fabulous Fries w/Malt Aioli: crispy on the outside, melting like butter inside; warmed Organic Bread w/marvelous Goat Butter and the Pickled Vegetable Plate - sweet & sour. Entre's: Sessions' Burger is a classic w/twist of Bacon Jam and ask for extra Wagon Wheel Cheese; Wild Mushroom Pappardelle - rich & wonderful comfort food; Crudo of Hiramasa w/Citrus a light, flavorful fish entre'. Desserts: Apple Turnover w/Bourbon Ice Cream a must; Malt Ice Cream Sandwich - so good but a little hard to eat w/o a fork. NOTE: IPhone flash light needed to read the menu. Restaurant needs votives on the tables!

I knew I wanted to go out to dinner in presidio but didn't know my options. Stumbled on sessions and loved how the patio looked. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and I put that it in the comment box when I made reservation. I've done that before but didn't think much of it other than they'll have a candle ready when we order dessert. We got there and 645 and had special menus saying Happy Birthday Lindsay. It was a clear night (especially for sf) and great to sit outside. The food was great. We ordered the burrata which came w nectarines, cherries and burnt brew bread crumbs and squash blossoms to start. We split the halibut/seafood medley and steak. Everything was very tasty but highly recommend the squash blossoms and seafood - there was a crab mash thing on the bottom that I have been thinking about since we left. We got the mollases cookie sandwich for dessert and it was perfection. Can't wait to go back

The view is beautiful and the restaurant looks nice. Me and my girlfriend shared the mussels and the pork belly were delicious! We got the halibut but I can make it better! Tip is included in your bill and maybe that explains the horrible service! I would go again just because of the service! But they do have some 20 something beers on draft! Still rather go to Toranado or zytgies! They have lots of beer and better service!

Sessions is a bright, contemporary restaurant with an interesting menu. We had reservations for brunch. I was amazed to see grits on the menu and they were delicious. Stone ground grits, portabello mushrooms, ancho chili sauce, jalapeno-jack cheese with perfectly done poached eggs. Other items ordered were the burger and fries which was also excellent, and fish and chips. The fish was tender and tasty but the coating was a little bit doughy in spots. (A 20% gratuity is automatically added to checks.)

Read through a lot of reviews and must say our experience with the servers & staff was great. Prompt, attentive and made great recommendations. We had the cheese dumplings to start and they were delicious. Got the small order for two people, should have gotten large as we were wanting more when we finished. My wife and I split the burger, easily one of the top 5 burgers I've had in the last few years. Wrapped up with the malasadas for dessert which were delicious. They had a long beer menu, looked good but had a long drive ahead of us. Would definitely come back. Great location at the north part of Presidio!

We ordered 10 oysters during the happy hour. The smallest oysters I have ever had in my life! The oyster flesh is about the size of my nail. As we exit, I told the waiter the oysters were terrible. He responded with a grin on his face " I can tell". What a horrible place with horrible food and horrible service! People still paying money for happy hour! Have some respect! I have never given a negative feedback on trip advisor. This surely will be the worst dining experience so far! size of my nail. As we exit, I told the waiter the oysters were terrible. This surely will be the worst dining experience so far!

Really great local beer selection and yummy small plates. A little sophisticated for kids palates but my 15 and 11 year old found things to eat.

I am always skeptical about restaurants in SF, where everything is super expensive and not necessarily good. At Sessions, the food was excellent, though still pricey. Our server was very professional, and exchanged (at no cost) two items that we were not happy with (allergy problems). We were 7, so we tried a big variety of items, from fish to meet, from appetizer to dessert. Everything was good. It's also a very nice restaurant, located in a beautiful area. It's huge, so I guess it could become loud, though it was not on the night we were there (but stay away from the bar if you want quietness). Overall, a very nice experience.

We were a large group, at a table in a separate room. The service was excellent and attentive. The wines we had were quite good. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their first plate. The main dishes- the steak and the hamburger were enjoyed at our table. Two of us had the fish dish (Florida Pompano) and were disappointed. The desert was OK but not spectacular. The location of the restaurant at the Presidio is very beautiful and quite accessible. Overall, excellent service, excellent ambience, very good food.

The food was good but a bit overpriced. I know one doesn'the eat in a restaurant but if my husband had visited the men's room before we ate we would have left Sessions in disgust. Both of the urinals were blocked and overflowing and there were pools of urine on the floor

Best casual dining I had in San Francisco. If you're looking for a drink and some light food, look no further! We had the cheeseboard and the home cut chips. Cheeses were excellent and were accompanied by lovely dark bread, date chutney and honeycomb. The combination was brilliant, so good that my wife who doesn't like dates, honey or blue cheese ate all 3 and thoroughly enjoyed them all!

The location is lovely overlooking a lucious green park. The room is sparse and casual the service was friendly but not polished. The luncheon food was also casual and eclectic. My friend had a daily special of spare ribs with cole slaw and a delicious cornbread jalapeño muffin. It was the winner. We also had a very unusual version of an open-faced pastrami sandwich. It grew on you as you got further into the meal. I would recommend it if you are near the Presidio but it isn't really a destination restaurant. Great place to be outside on a sunny day. We had a pretty easy time parking in the parking lot which has validation for restaurant goers.

A upbeat and contemporary restaurant with a wide craft beer selection. Vibe is friendly. Entree selections are varied, from juicy thick burgers to pasta dishes. I found some of the dishes too artsy and different but we're not very tasteful. A friend ordered the kale ravioli which was bland. The burger was delicious, with tasty French fries. I recommend the beer selections but not the food.

First time visit and it was fabulous. Angelo, our waiter was fantastic. The food was awesome. Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and fries.

Nice location, good food, contemporary digs, but the practice of auto charging 20% + on my bill without allowing to add more or less is unacceptable. A tip is voluntary. Won't return. Don't be surprised. Unbelievable that they engaged in this. Many other places to visit. Very disappointed.

Great spot to take a break from walking this lovely part of the Presidio. Craft beers and excellently prepared food.

Four of us had dinner. The service was good, although they automatically include a 20% tip. The food was Ok as the place advertises as a gastropub but is really trying to be a 4 star. We felt they were trying too hard as almost all the dishes were complicated with too much going on.

Would not return due to arrogant attitudes of bar tenders who were barely waiting on us. It was a burden to get a glass of water and to ask for ice really put him out😱 Oh and 20% is automatically added to your bill😤 So why serve . Too bad we thought food was excellent

We went for drinks but ended up ordering the happy hour oysters ($1.50) and the crispy chicken biscuit slider and then we tried the heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad...it was fantastic! We already had other plans for dinner but we will be back because it all looked great and the service was fantastic. It's one of those places that tacks on 20% that is shared with all staff and sometimes you end up feeling that the service isn't what it should be...not so here at Sessions. Very attentive

Nine of us (adults) went here for Saturday lunch. Setting is beautiful. Lots of room and we were seated right away with reservation. Parking garage downstairs. Menu very interesting for foodies. So far so good. Picky eaters had a harder time finding something they liked (so probably not great for kids). Food and cocktails were as interesting as promised, but 5 ordered burgers and 4 orders were wrong. Excellent, wide selection of beers and ales. Noisy, so not great for conversation. Would be excellent for your unattached millennial friends visiting from England.

I've dined there twice in the past month: brunch and during happy hour. Inside and out are attractive dining areas in the beautiful Presidio and the menu has something delicious for everyone. And $1.50 fresh oysters during happy hour; and the crispy chicken slider are delicious and great deals. Appetizers, entrees and desserts, and cocktails are all very good. Its good that a tip is included in the final bill and most service is good, but 100%. At happy hour the two of us ate indoors and our waiter was helpful and timely. At brunch the four of us ate on the patio. Our waiter may have been in more demand--all tables were full outside, though he was not the only waiter working the outside tables. But he was less observant of us, so much so that the person serving our drinks spilled one of the cocktails all over two of us and the table. He apologized and brought us two extra napkins and a bar towel to clean up his mess and dry off. He returned with a new drink, minus the fruit garnish (reasons unknown). Presumably neither he nor anyone else on staff informed our waiter of the spill. Even when I handed the wet towel back to our waiter he never inquired about the spilled drink or whether everything was alright. And we were charged for the four drinks and our meals, desserts, coffees, which was surprising--Sessions should have compensated us for at least one of the cocktails and really for at least two. Since two of us were showered with the drink the server spilled on us, comp'ing us for the drinks would be the right thing to do regardless of the restaurant including the tip in the bill, but given that the tip IS included--Sessions should have done right by us. Otherwise I very much recommend it, and I hope that Sessions will improve communications between its staff and between its staff and customers.

Had the Eggs in Purgatory and they were quite good, along with the coffee. I would return again as this is breakfast dish that is not found in most breakfast places..

I was having dinner with a friend at this restaurant on a Sunday nite. I had read some of the earlier reviews that mostly seemed positive but when service was mentioned there seemed to be a problem with this restaurant. I came in on crutches, lead myself to the bar, having been abandoned by the two hostesses at the front while they led other people to tables with no place for me to sit. The bar was not crowded but there was no acknowledgment of my presence from either of the bartenders for 10 min. Finally my friend joined us I guess that larger crowd of two warranted service. Service quality at that point best described as "adequate". We were shown to our table and it took several requests before we could get silverware for both of us. The drink orders were incredibly slow. The food delivery seemed okay but a little slow, but the french fries were definitely not hot, probably lukewarm. Lots of "oh, I'm sorry, I'll get that now..." Then I remembered, this restaurant is taking part in that trend to include service charges of 20% of the bill, in essence no tipping. The idea is the back staff, dishwashers etc., can take part in the fruitful bounty. This approach has been tried in progressive Portland but largely abandoned because what it produces is a steady decline in quality of the service. When the restaurants have gone back to the usual approach of good service gets good tips, the quality of service improves significantly. The restaurant management could make a whole lot of people happier by paying their backs staff more by raising prices a bit, returning the waiters to an incentive plan, ie, tipping.

Stumbled upon this after 7,500 steps from Golden Gate point to Fine Arts. Worried it was a tourist trap just because of locale. Nope. Great beer choices and cocktails. Good menu options. We just had the pickled vegetables and squash blossom dishes (since we had a dinner reservation). Both were great. Service was solid. Friendly. Efficient. Would definitely visit again.

Beer lovers look no further! Great selection of beers and fabulous food. Kids had fish and chips and adults has fish tacos, soup, cheese dumplings were crazy delicious. We stopped in here for a late lunch after visiting Chrissy Field. Average meal price $12-19 and kids meals ran around $7-10. Parking in garage is $6/ph. Can get pricey with drinks but great pit stop for our family after a day of Golden Gate Bridge activities!

On Valentine's Day we stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to the Presidio golf course. You can see the tip of the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the palace of fine arts which is superb as far as location. We came in around 3:30 starving and probably didn't pick the right spot because they were in between menus; they had a burger and then a lot of smaller intricate plates that did not seem appetizing, it was for some one with a specific palate. Also they were out of oysters and mussels :( so it further limited the menu which was only about 6-7 items. On the plus side, they had a very extensive list of beers, Sours, sparking wines, red and white wines.

Lovely setting and atmosphere. Our server was very accommodating to the children's wishes as there was no children's menu and allowed them to pick and choose from the main menu. The food was very good indeed. Lots of lovely flavours and combinations. Seemed to close rather early and they were waiting for us to leave but I think maybe we got carried away in conversation! A great place!

took our kids and grand kids ti teh Disney museum and on the way stopped here for lunch. Great setting, good service, and good food. We enjoyed some different dishes and beers and all was good. Great patio on a wonderful S.F. day

Set in the beautiful Presidio of San Francisco, Sessions could be a great place to stop off at on a sunny day to enjoy the views and a drink or snack. Getting a table at the outdoor seating area would be a must. My husband and I visited for a late lunch on a gray, wet day and were seated inside by choice. The decor is what I would call spare Scandinavian - concrete, bleached wood, no color. It is clean and attractive, but not warm. The hard surfaces also amplify the noise. The menu was extensive, as were the drink choices. Our waiter was helpful in suggesting beer choices once our first selection was not available. He also brought us sample pours. My husband had the lunch special which consisted of a soup and a shrimp poorboy. Both were tasty, although there were only two shrimp in his sandwich. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was also quite tasty. The chicken was well prepared, the slaw veered on the sweet side, and the bun held up nicely to the contents. The fries were pale. Overall, I rate the food average for the price (go the Bake Sale Betty's in Oakland for a chicken sandwich twice the size and half the price). The setting is spectacular, however, and we would consider returning if we find ourselves in the area again. If you drive and park in the Presidio garage, be sure to ask about parking validation. Sessions validates for $5, while the garage charge is $6/hour (if I remember correctly.) We're glad we remembered to ask.

We needed a place to eat lunch on the day we visited the Walt Disney Family Museum. This restaurant caught my eye because it is within walking distance and it has a nice craft beer menu, which appeals to my husband. For lunch, my teenage son ordered the nutella crepes, and my husband ordered the burger. I had the fish tacos. They were kind enough to make eggs for my younger kids, and brought them baguette toasts. I thought the service, food and beer selection were all very good. Worth the 10-15 minute walk from the Walt Disney Family Museum!!

Tall ceilings obstruct common communication with your guest. Tables are very wide and eliminates intimate conversation. Very clean place. Cocktails overpriced, aren't they all? $65.00 gets a soup lunch, pastrami sandwich and two cocktails. Very nice location in a very park-like setting in one of the world's most beautiful cities......

Went here for a starter and some beers. We had the house fries and cheese dumplings. Food was good but not exciting. Good beer list. Service was not excited about guests but OK.

We were staggeringly hungry after visiting the palace of fine arts and literally went on a search for the closest restaurant to eat and boy are we glad we stumbled on this place. Excellent food and service. We were recommended to try the rib eye steak which is a bit on the pricey side $45 but perfect if you can split it with another person the steak is huge. But definitely one of the juiciest steaks I've ever eaten. I would equate it to grade 6 wagyu except this is all organic. Had it with cheese grits and the zucchini on the side. The restaurant has a 20% gratuity built in so it takes the stress outta tipping. And a huge variety of craft beers. Really recommend this place.

Went to the fairly new restaurant, Sessions in the Presidio in San Francisco. Delicious and different. A really diverse menu...a foodie's paradise. Super hamburger, tuna crudo, hanger steak, fabulous brunch Sat and Sundays. So creative and really a fun eating experience. Beautiful setting. Fabulous outdoor patio (one can bring your dog!) Wonderful craft beers for sampling...great bar for mingling...great new spot.

The area around the restaurant is great for a stroll, close to the Golden Gate Bridge, and the interior of the restaurant has a relaxing and contemporary vibe that is very pleasant. The service was very good, so the automatic 20% charge didn't bother me. The menu is not extensive, but the dishes on offer cover most people's tastes, and the quality was good. I would recommend this restaurant and be very happy to dine there again.

Sunday brunch - some of the food items were not well cooked. Our group enjoyed the bottomless mimosa.

My friend and I trudged into this place after hours of walking around San Francisco. We were hot, tired and a little bit over doing the tourist thing and .., There was absolutely no plan for us to drink way more than we should have, nor spend way more than we would have normally at 4pm till 7pm !!! Eeek but .... It was away from the crowds, the selection of beer and wines are good and we liked Dan the guy looking after us. Anyhoo, if you want to escape for an afternoon - go here- enjoy the grounds and relax.

I had to plan dinner for a large contingent that was coming in from Spain, and settled on Sessions, frankly, because they would take a reservation for 12 on OpenTable. The place is well set up for a large group - roomy and not too noisy - and is in a pleasant setting just inside the Presidio. Food and drink were good, if not exceptional. Two gripes: Inattentive service from very junior waitperson (not what I want when shelling out $1,000 for dinner); second, the menu takes the farm-to-table but to a new level of pretentiousness. "Hoof and Talon" - are they serving eagles or hawks? "Fin and Siphon" - I'm getting an image of a dolphin mixing a whiskey and soda. Lighten up, please, and tighten up the service.

Love that this restaurant is large enough to be able to get into without booking it a month in advance and the parking is good. Five of us ate here on a Friday night. We always order the dumpling appetizer- it is delicious. They have a fun cocktail list. I ordered the hamburger, which I love here, with the French fries (nice and thick). I saved half for the next day and it was still delicious. Too full for dessert-next time. They have a good beer selection and you can also eat at their bar.

Dropped in for a beer and appetizer. Shared "House Cured Meats and Cheese Platter". The entire platter was delicious. In particular, the "Beef Tongue Pastrami" was remarkable. This a wonderful way to serve tongue. The rest of the platter was also very good. I would recommend a piece or more of the brewed bread or something else to accompany the meats and cheese.

Convenient location if spending the day in the presidio. Was underwhelmed by the dining room we sat in - very large, kinda generic, but the bar is nice and our waiter was terrific. We were uncertain about which types of beer so he brought samples until we found what we liked (Westphalia (sp?)) for me. We split fried chicken and a salad - plenty of food for 2 and super yummy.

Pres a Vi and Dixie didn't last at this delightful location just inside the Presidio. This one won’t make it either. They barely serve one of our dishes by the time everyone else is finished. Cappuccino is unpotable. Kicker is that they charge $50 birthday cake-cutting fee! I understand the equivalent of a corkage fee. The waiter brings the manager over and he gives us an "everyone does it” excuse. You know he is not an owner/manager. Good luck in your next job. You'll need it soon.

Street parking tough but worth the wait. Right on time reservation seating outside with plenty of table room for 5 people. Interesting selections from crepes, fish tacos, big burger, salads and pastrami egg dish. Go for the draft beer selections and take some time to look it over and ask questions. Reasonable prices and good value for the food quality. Automatic 20% added to bill for service and employee benefits.
Great place for Family Friday
We found this new farm to table restaurant on our door step. Great setting, easy access, underground parking. Lots of space, great bar, great menu and great drinks. The owner, Evan, is very personable. We been twice now - this is a great place. And the outside terrace is awesome.
