Another great Irish bar in NY, food was great and staff were so friendly and loved a chat.... must have visited this place a few times as the barmaid knew what we drank before we could order, would highly recommend to anyone while in NY to come here for a drink or food.

Great Food, Great Staff, Good Value. The 3 elements to a good place to eat. There are so many places to eat in New York, this hidden gem is not far from the shops of 5th Avenue and 15min walk from Time Square. You get lots of good food for your money and the staff are brilliant. Good place for sports and the outdoor area is really relaxing. Second time I have been to this place and will go back every time I go to New York

Two of us went here for lunch on a Thursday. We were seated right away, in the back dining room. It wasn't a great vibe back there, kind of closed off and dark, and we realized later we should have just sat in the bar area toward the front of the restaurant. The food was good. My mom got a chicken salad and finished the whole thing. I got a pepperoni pizza (I know, weird choice for an Irish pub, but I was craving it) and it was surprisingly good. While the food was great, my cocktail was a disappointment. It was supposed to their version of Moscow Mule with cucumber gin, but it just tasted like a regular cocktail and wasn't worth the money. The service was fine. She was prompt to take our order, but then disappeared and my mom had to ask a random server for more water. But they cleared our plates quickly and didn't harass us as we sat for awhile. I would recommend for a quick bite, but it's nothing to go out of your way for.

Mediocre food, poor service, rude staff. Was visiting NYC yesterday taking in the sights looked like a good place to stop. boy were we wrong. Were completely rushed through our meal by the wait staff and hostess who let us know they wanted to go home. our food order was also screwed up. just a point of reference- this was at 7 pm on a sunday night. would rather go hungry before we went back to this horrendous place

Stopped in here for lunch in between some other attractions while in NYC. The waitress was really friendly as was the other staff. We ordered the chips/salsa/guacamole as an appetizer and it was so good. For my meal I had the chipotle chicken wrap with fries and it was great. They also had a great drink menu to choose from. Would definitely stop back in if we're in the area again!

I was trapped in New York on a twelve hours layover and decided to wait it out there before going on to my next flight for the day. The Irish bartender was an amazing young woman with a lot of advice who seemed to know all her usual patrons by name. The food was really good and properly seasoned. I had wings and fries and there was so much I wasn’t able finish. The place is clean and well put-together, the clientele is mostly made up of Irish people and other very well-mannered gentlemen and ladies. Definitely a place to recommend in Manhattan.

Brought over my friends visiting from Ireland for St Pats Day. We absolutely loved it. It's not posh! It's a great bar with a fantastic atmosphere. Our bartenders, Michelle and Gary" we're on point in the middle of the chaos. Will definitely visit again and do recommend.

We stopped here for a late evening/night beer before crashing for the night. We were able to sit outdoors curb-side, which was a great for a beautiful evening. Our server was friendly. At first, they seemed like they had a great beer list, as the list was long...but, mostly with large-scale macro beers that weren't appealing. But, we did get a beer, and we were thirsty :)

Looking for somewhere to eat - 12 of us - stumbled across this bar - fabulous find - food amazing, great staff. Highly recommend Filet Mignon Sandwich was delicious The Christmas Decorations were wonderful Again Highly Recommend if looking for great value fabulous food

Other than the quick and friendly service, the rest was average. The burger and nachos were average taste. The price, not cheap if you consider $18 for a burger.

Great place to throw back a pre-dinner drink OR have dinner. Great Bar food! Great draft beer! Well rounded menu for dinner. Super nice bartenders. All Irish Bar.

Excellent service, amazing food, great location. All the staff members we met were lovely ,we went in a few times .Oysters were so tasty. Best service we had in New York!

I have been to St. Pat's way too many times to count, mainly to attend/host New York Social Network events. Aside from being a great events bar, the staff if amazing and the food is delicious. The bartenders are all friendly and knowledgeable about what they're pouring, which makes for a great drinking experience. The food is great, I mean, I'm craving their Salmon right now. They make a killer blackened Salmon. The fries are also, unfortunately, delicious. As much as I try to avoid greasy food I'm always a sucker for their fries. Bottom line, this is a solid bar, from staff to dining. There are THREE floors, each with its own bar, AND a little outside patio. Can't wait for my next excuse to return.

The service was great, the beer cold and a good barley sandwich, The house wine was full bodied as were the food orders especially the calamari

We ate our first dinner in NYC here, and it was a great way to start our vacation. The shepard's pie was excellent, as was the atmosphere and service.

I found this great Irish Pub during January’s blizzard, and returned for the next two nor’easters! I was staying at the Cambria (next door) because of the weather and found this place to be the perfect spot for my staff. We all could find something we liked on the menu and I was able to stay on budget. It was so good the first time, they requested we return for the next 2 snow storms! My favorite is the Chicken Pot Pie. Others liked the Ruben, or burger. Best of all Smithwicks! The entire atmosphere brought he back to Dublin Ireland ! I work a few blocks away! This will be my go-to place weather I’m getting a quick drink or meeting people from out-of-town!

Stopped for a drink and while the prices were as expected for NY I didn’t expect a 20% tip to be added to the bill for drinks that I had to go the bar for! Be warned We won’t be back

Cold, showy, and hungry about two weeks ago at dinner time after a day of site seeing. since this place was close to our hotel we stopped in to eat and get warm. It was almost totally full at 6:00 p.m. Food and drink was excellent but a little on the high side but again this is NYC. If you go there be sure to get there early if you want to get in.

Jumped in here for a pit stop while touring around the Manhattan sites, good range of beers, local and continental. Ordered some bar food which the hot chicken wings were the best. Nice bar and staff, if you want rest for a while walking around new york recommend calling in here

Called in for late lunch. Gin & Tonics fancied, but these and beer prices were not shown. Somewhat surprised to see that gin cost as much as a cocktail elsewhere. Food fine; staff good.

So with Groupon the price was about 50%, but the service was so-so, as was the food. The salad with chicken omitted half the ingredients, no corn, avocados or chips. The guacamole was watery and the nacho chips were stale. Wings were OK. The burgers looked good. Maybe that's the problem. When you go to a pub- eat pub food.

We went to this place for pre Broadway show drinks and found it to be a little gem. This place has a real good atmosphere and its staff are welcoming and friendly and it serves a good selection of beers. We had the nachos and they were fantastic.

We bought a Groupon which gave us the opportunity to find this pub. We were made very welcome by the staff. They quickly got us a highchair for the baby. We chose some mac n cheese that was freshly prepared and not pre packaged and asked for it ASAP so that we could feed the baby and then enjoy ours. They did this and it tasted delicious. We asked the friendly waitress for recommendations, a messy burger, chicken salad and club sandwich were ordered. The food was delicious and of a good size. The only criticism is the price of the Magners cider $11.80!!! It was only $7.05 on the Queen Mary 2!!! The service charge was 18.5% which was automatically added and added another $15 to our three main meals. We were not given the option to take it off and leave our own tip. We were going to have dessert but the only ice cream they had was Mint, which doesn't go well with most desserts especially Apple pie!!!! The pub had a lovely atmosphere especially with the fire lit.

Love the ambiance of this bar/restaurant including the beautiful wood work, stair case and rail, first floor and upstairs bars, doorways and the typical NYC tiles. The staff were friendly and attentive. The live musician was great. The food was okay, reasonably priced and the portions were a good size. Personal preference- I would love Irish or mild/rock music vs dance/club music.

Attend at 1940 to be told food stopped at 2000 we would be okay so we were seated and ordered drinks. We ordered drinks and there was only 1 lager available. The waitress (irish girl who wasvery pleasant) returned with my daughters drink and explained they had been busy and there was no fish or chicken or something else on the menu. We decided to leave and the waitress apologised and advised us of another premises nearby. If the male we spoke to when we first came in had told us the had limited food we would not have sat down. Cant fault the waitress she was lovely.

Called in on a pub crawl for a couple of gin and tonics, ended up with gin and soda. Staff did offer to change. Nice pub vibe, food looked decent but didn't eat. Would try again if passing as it did have character.

We stopped by here after viewing the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The décor is nice and the staff friendly. Being an Irish Pub I decided to have the Irish Stew. The server advised they were out of it. Ok, the Mrs. and I then settled on the Fish and Chips. Nope. None of that either the server came back to advise. Really? Neither one? Anyway, we both settled on the Shepherds pie and our kids had a burger platter and a chicken wrap platter. We also ordered a Nachos appetizer which although it tasted ok looked to be sized for one person. Not enough and for $13 definitely not a good deal at all. When the meals arrived, the burger platters looked ok and the kids said they were ok. The Shepherds pie was woefully a small portion. I've had it many times in other places and this was the smallest I have ever been served. I hoped at least for the cost of $17 each that it would be a little better than most but alas it was just ok. Nothing wrong with it but just average. Thankfully both my kids weren't that hungry so I got a piece of both of their platters otherwise I would have had to hit up a street vendor later for a hotdog. I had thought it would be better. But it was just average.

The music was playing upstairs where the dance floor was. We stayed downstairs where we could hear the music but still talk. Staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. My only criticism is that I wouldn't say they had a great selection of beer.

We made the mistake of visiting this restaurant during happy hour. We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel and this was convenient. There is not many tables and we were seated near the bar upstairs. It was so loud I couldn't even talk to the people I was with. The food wasn't anything special. I would not go back.

Had a Chicago Hot Dog that was just soso. The Fish & Chips was good. Small but good selection of beer. Service was good.

Really great bar for a cold beer on a hot summers day😎 Food was surprisingly very very good! Great friendly barman Eamon from Galway!!! Will be back next visit for sure

We called in for a drink as it was so hot outside and ended up ordering food. I had the pasta and he had the chicken and vegetables and we were delighted. Super tasty and great quality. Would recommend.

My friend and I came in for dinner around 8pm on Easter Sunday. We were immediately sat and drinks were ordered. After taking a quick look over the menu we then ordered our food. The food came out within 10 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were fair. Our two sandwiches and drinks came to $40. Our server was Ivonne and she was an absolute sweetheart. She was super friendly and outgoing. She made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. Granted we were the only ones in the restaurant due to the holiday but she went the extra mile to make our visit worth it.

We stopped of for dinner last evening, wanting something that had more options to pizza and fries which my children have favoured since being in NYC. friendly staff and the food was lovely (chicken hot pot and the fish and chips). Prices bit high but it's spitting distance from Times Square so it's what I expected. Be warned though, nice evening so waitress suggested sitting outside, only when going to pay the bill did I see the tiny sign saying 18% service charge automatically added to bill if sitting outside. - outside was full and inside was empty!

We went with our 8 and 10 year olds and had a very good meal. The waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. We tried to get in earlier on Thanksgiving Day for lunch, but they were about 20 minutes out and we didn't want to wait. We came back for dinner and was able to get right in.

We arrived in NYC on Thanksgiving Day and were hoping to find a T-giving dinner. Luckily St Patrick's was close by, and had a full Thanksgiving dinner in addition to the rest of the menu. I ended up with the Shepherd's Pie and it was THE BEST. Beer prices were a little high. Friendly staff.

The bartender was very attentive and entertaining. They had a good selection of food and what we had was delicious. The only drawback I saw was that they didn't have a very large selection of beer. They DID however have a great selection of spirits. The entire bar was old, of course, and had a very warm feel. Overall the experience was very pleasant and I would suggest you stop by.

I expected a pre party on the roof but ended up watching hockey alone! The poor British university girls seemed disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the other patrons. I know nothing of their food as they seemed to be trying to close by 11.

I loved the atmosphere and it was hopping during a recent college football game. The only thing I didn't like was the music was kind of loud.

Good service, excellent, attentive and accommodating manager. Nice bartenders and great food! Great menu with full saw bar, delicious lobster rolls, burgers, fries and a bunch more! Always a fun lively environment.

Only went in for a drink before dinner & ended up doing both ! The barman was friendly and persuasive so we thought why not ? Not the cheapest meal in town for a Bar & Grill but the food was good & the bar was cozy and service was quick ! I had the $18 Messy Burger while the missus had a lovely (her words)Chicken Cordon Bleu at $23 and a couple of drinks rounded it off. One point to watch for, they base their suggested gratuity on the total including Tax !! That''s a NO NO ! But you could do a lot worse I've found !

Had an enjoyable couple of hours in the pub. Very friendly and decent prices. Friendly barman too. Didn't eat there tho

Stopped in with family. Ruben was small and only so so especially for the price. Server was nice but not very competent or prompt. After ordering, only saw her when we called her over (She didn't bring the food) and to bring us the bill. Neat setting but I will skip this place in the future.

Ate here for dinner and we were greeted by very friendly staff. Water was brought to our table without having to ask. We had lobster rolls and sweet potato fries which was nice, a little disappointed with the lobster as we thought it may of been warm but came out cold. Fries were plentiful and could of got away with one portion as we couldn't eat them all. Had Fudge cake for afters with Guiness ice cream and a whiskey sauce which was to die for. Lovely atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.

Friendly place, although it was a little loud inside and tough to have an intimate conversation. I had the turkey club sandwich and it was really good. I asked for some veggies in place of French fries and it was no problem. I would recommend this as a great place to go after a broadway show!

Amazing food and great staff. Arrived for lunch and the food was delicious. Tried the Shepherd Pie and Messy burger and loved both. Portions were big too. TIP: Use the groupon coupon while it's available for sale.

Service was horrible. Waitress never came back for refills. Ordered a hamburger medium and got a well done, very dry, no flavor burger.

This was an absolutely wonderful find in the Theater District. We walked into this pub accidentally while looking for another. The place was packed on an afternoon, with a lot of locals at the bar, all seeming to enjoy themselves. Spouse and I got a spot at the end of the bar and could not have been happier. Michelle was our bartender and she was great. She exemplifies what a bartender should be. She had everyone at the bar involved in conversation and laughter, whether it related to neighborhoods, sports, etc. Even the manager and wait staff got involved. I cannot comment on the food, as we were there for drinks only, but the plates passing us looked great. After three hours, we reluctantly had to leave because we were picking up theater tickets. We visited several pubs in NYC during our stay, but St. Pat’s Bar was hands down our favorite. It doesn’t have a “wow” factor appearance, but don’t be fooled. Stop in for a visit!

Fantastic Irish bar, not far from Times Square, does great food too, bar staff very friendly, slainte, ciaran..

A very warm welcome both on the staff and temperature side. Really cold outside and great to get in for a beer

Average meal of sandwich,(with burnt toast) beef stew with (1 scoop of potatoe)1 glass of wine, coffee, water cost €57.81, checked the bill and after tax etc a gratuity (tip) of 18'/.was added .Nothing left to our discretion which was the first time this happened to us in NY. Waitness was lovely, irish and courteous so we would hsve left a bigger tip but management took it instead.Theres a law against thus in Ireland! Avoid this place if you.dont want to get annoyed at the greed!

Beer cold. Wings & mozzarella sticks good. Fish & chips were delicious, (thin fries??). Service decent. Got there Sat night about 5:30pm. Reasonably priced. $8 - $9 beers. $5 beers are limited to Bud + blue moon?? Would go again for food & service.

Came in on a groupon deal and the servers were very friendly. The food was very good / large portions and presented well. Liked the style of the dining room with pretty church windows at the back.

Cold beer nothing exotic just typical pub style selections. The food came out and fast and was cooked perfectly. It's not bar food it's pub food...which means better and less grease. For a late lunch, the portions were perfect keeping us full for the rest of the evening. The side fries were huge at least 4 large potatoes worth! The entire staff was on top of it to making sure we were served and had anything we needed.

What a great burger. Everyone else enjoined there meal. A little loud but that seems to be the nirm anymore. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 is because the waitress took a while to comeback & see if we needed anything. Ketchup & mustard before our burger & fries got cold.

Loved this place so much we ate here twice during a trip to NYC! Food was great, staff was very friendly. Like most everywhere in NYC beer was a bit on the expensive side, but other than that no complaints. Rueben was delicious as was everything else I tried. Will definitely go back here next time I am in NYC!

Everything i saw in New York had fries and meat, i just got here because my resort was next to it and i didnt wanted to walk more! i got there and assk for THE SALAD, BESIDE IT WAS CHEAP was the BEST I EVER TRIED! you will love it!

Attended this bar just for drinks. Staff were great quick service and nice. I like the atmosphere here would definitely return

The Bruschetta Chicken was the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten! Sooo good! The pretzel we had for an appetizer was great, too! Great service!

Spent a week in New York and visited St. Pat's twice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a great food menu which is reasonably priced and the availability of Irish drinks was a plus for me. I'll definitely be encouraging people to visit St. Pat's when travelling to New York

We used a Groupon to eat at this restaurant which made the value acceptable. We took advantage of Happy Hour but the "well drinks" seemed watered down. We didn't go for seconds. We chose this restaurant because it was within walking distance of the Radio City Music Hall. The food was okay. My husband had the fish and chips and commented that the batter on the fish was very hard. I had the Rueben which was pretty good. You'd never go hungry eating here but the food is not memorable.

Stopped here for some lunch and a couple of drinks. The food was really nice and the beer and wine excellent. It does have sports on TV screens if that's your thing. Would come here again for sure.

My daughter and I ate here twice on a recent NYC trip. Super convenient since we were staying at the HGI 2 doors down. Very friendly service and easy to get seated. Mozzarella sticks were the best we ever had and the salads were delicious! Highly recommend!

Great food and service! The dumplings were incredible, as well as the tomato soup. Would definitely return.

Popped in on our way back from Times Square to our Hotel. We had a club sandwich and Sausage & Mash. Prices were very good quick friendly service and food was very good

Just a random finding. But a good one. Friendly staff, football screens and a clean place. Enough Burgers to be chosen and enough different beers. Food was ok.

We were very happy with a quiet meal in a tavern setting. The food and service were both quite good. We had the penne ala pasta with shrimp and harvest salad with chicken.

Nice and friendly. Good atmosphere and staff were lovely. We are and the food was good and served quickly and hot. The pub was clean and well kept

We were heading out of the city and stopped for a quick dinner. No wait. Read reviews and most were really good, except for a few about food not being good and "more Mexican than Irish", which I'd have to agree. I'd have to say the food overall sucked. Bathrooms were soaked on the floors, which is never good-although I *think* it was from thensoap dispensers location and the hand dryer...hopefully. We got steak nachos to start...again just ok. Not much on them. My husband got pizza (it's the small flatbread kind) and it was not good. I was SO excited for shepards pie but when it came out, not only was it small but it honestly looked like a big scoop of taco meat with the smallest amount of mashed pots on top. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. It wasn't terrible but definitely not a traditional Irish version.

We went late on a Saturday night because we were hungry tired and it was right next to our hotel. There was some kind of MMA fight going on and it was VERY noisy and crowded. (We were subjected to MANY renditions of 'Ole! Ole ole ole!' ) But they sat us right away and the burgers were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive despite the noise. If I cared at all about MMA (or whatever) I'm sure this would have been a fun place to watch.

My client and I went here for a social/business lunch. We were seated in the back, away from the bar. At 12:30 pm, the restaurant was busy. Without any fabric to deaden voices, the noise level was intense. I spoke to the manager who said there was nothing he could do, even though he asked me to repeat my request in a louder voice. We wanted to move to the bar tables. There, he had the rock music turned up to full volume. I pleaded for relief, but he refused. Since we had ordered, we shouted through our burgers and salads. The food was delicious. However, unless you are looking for noise, I suggest any other nearby restaurant to have a social, relaxed conversation.

The food was good and the service was also. The singer that night was good and funny since we really couldn't hear him to good he tried to sing louder. Would eat there again.

We wandered in here on our last day in NYC we wish we had in our first day the food was perfect and reasonably priced. Staff were smiley and helpful. Will be back the next time we visit NYC

We were staying at the Cambria Times Square next door. Popped in for a few pints. Attentive and personable staff. Recommended.

New York is full of Irish Bar's so it was no surprise this one was only a couple of doors away from our hotel. we stopped for a drink after walking back from diner. Bar staff very friendly and the place is clean and tidy. Drinks were a bit pricey, but we were only a stones through from Times Square.

Visited several times while staying at the Hotel at Times Square. They did not disappoint us. Kind of noisy but great taste in music. Would definitely go back & would recommend.

Had a good cocktail while waiting for a good salad to go. Very nice bartender. Will go back when in the area

Had lunch here today, fish, chips and salad, $10 great value, great tasting. Great looking pub, little out of town, great friendly service.

We come here each time we visit NYC. Love the atmosphere and staff. Food was excellent and the cosmos were good also.

Very nice bar, friendly bartender, great pastrami Reuben! Beer a little pricey, but that's NYC for you. Glad we stopped.

Properly Irish, and across multiple levels, you can find bar space or table space, either in the happening space, or in a quieter space, here’s plenty of options here. The food was very good, and the staff were really helpful in getting our sports teams game showing on a TV (which required streaming from the net). They also pulled a decent pint of Smithwicks.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch meet up with my husband in between work training. Decent menu with the expected pub food options, nothing too out of the ordinary. I got their chicken fingers meal, which was plain and had no seasoning or flavor. My husband got chicken wings which he said were decent but not something he'd get again. If you're in a rush there are worse places to check out but in NYC there's too many other options to bother with a forgettable meal here.

I guess I was expecting a very Irish themed pub with Irish music. Maybe its name is more related to its proximity to St Patrick's Cathedral. They do have some Irish dishes and also a variety of American fare. My wife had a salad and I had their two New York style hot dog lunch which was quite good.

Great food although we told our waitress (Sinead) that we would leave a cash tip instead of adding it to our bill. We signed the check with no tip but then received a bank notification with a value which meant she had added a 20% tip without our permission. When we challenged this Sinead said it must have been our mistake. Rubbish!!!! After she refunded our card she then had the total cheek to ask for a cash tip!!! No way!!! How rude given the blatant mistake she had made!!! Won’t be back!!

We have ordered brusels Sprouts as a side dish but they are burned. Server recomended us the lobter roll but was not good. Waste our money.

My sister-in-law and I had time to kill after our Broadway show and before the train back to DC. Popped into the bar to cool off - it was HOT in the city 10/2/19. The Happy Hour prices were a bonus and we each promptly ordered a Guiness. Our server was friendly and efficient and all our fellow patrons in the bar area (tourists) seemed to be enjoying themselves. We noticed a lovely woman in a stylish "work dress" and joked she was the only one there playing hooky from work. Turns out she is the manager and a total hoot! Danielle chatted with us a couple times and we thoroughly enjoyed our interaction. She is the reason I would return to St. Patrick's when in the City for my next show. Cheers to a fun, friendly experience!

Food was served warm to cold, when we told them, they looked at us like we were aliens? “Would you like us yo warm it up for you?” Er no why not serve it at the correct temperature. Shocking service and experience.

Lively Irish bar serving a very wide range of excellent beers, the usual screens, good food, my daughter said they were the best pizzas she tasted, I had various meals from the many burgers to a lovely homely shepherds pie. Although it could be loud at times there are two floors and a small outside seating area. Very convenient for us and madd it my home from home for the week I was there. Very reasonably priced and excellent service. Would definitely recommend

The food was good, we had been walking around and hungry, so we stopped in. Got greeted with inside or out and do you want food or not. While he was still smoking. Was very short and not friendly. The whole visit seemed like we annoyed him. Server name on the receipt was Nudy N. There are a lot of places on this strip. I would recommend going somewhere else

I went here with business associates for lunch. The location is perfect, they have good good that's is fresh. The prices are reasonable for the location and the wait staff was attentive with frequent checks to make sure we were happy. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

The service is really friendly, the food is really good and the beer is good too. I am a vegetarian and I am so lucky I found this place! Perfect vegetarian food!

Pretty cool modernised Irish pub. Came here for a feed with my wife and young family because every other place within the area was booked out and wasnt too keen waiting over an hour for a seat anywhere. St Pats squeezed us in. Food and service was awesome. Got a messy burger... wow it was good. Food was reasonably priced, beers on the other hand were quite a bit more expensive than restaurants around the area which is strange considering they are meant to be a pub. Worth checking out if your nearby

We called on on our first night in New York for a couple of cold ones and ended up staying for about 4 hours. The bar staff were spot on , great selection of drinks, I'd recommend a few of the draft Liguintas (perhaps got the name wrong -but close 😁) so instead of finding a restaurant we stayed and had the mixed platter and cajun seasoned fries , all very nice indeed. The atmosphere was very relaxed so we enjoyed our time in St Pat's and have no hesitation in recommending 10/10

Had to visit as a Celtic supporter, had a great meal & the staff were very efficient. On the 1st floor there are some great bits of memorabelia for a photo op. Home of the New York Supporters Club. Will defo be back next time we visit.

Went in here early in the week with a large business group and I have to say the food and service was excellent. I had the ribs which were falling off the bone cooked to perfection and massive and others at the table raved about the salmon. With a large group it's always tough for the staff and you kind of accept you are going to wait ages between drinks and courses, but certainly not in here - the staff were quick and attentive and I even got a beer I didn't order (but gratefully consumed). If you like wee dram of single malt, this is the place and you will be in a peaty, smoky heaven with the wide variety of malts on offer. It's a great place and I can find no fault with it - you really should try it if you are in the area - I'll certainly be going back and I live in Bermuda!

Most of the staff were Irish. Very busy and nice and warm. Bar staff were friendly and informative. Spent 2 great nights there for drinks and snacks.

Seen by chance the first day, visited it every day during all our stay in NYC. Very good Pint at affordable prices. Good food, specially the Salads, free and powerful WiFi and, most important, very friendly and helpful staff.

We wanted to enjoy the outdoor seating area upstairs but it was so packed we had to settle on the upstairs bar. The drinks were good but a little on the expensive side -- even for beer. The bartenders were friendly which made the pricey tab a little easier to swallow - pun intended.

We ate here twice during our stay in New York since it was so close to our hotel. The first time, I had the fish & chips, which was delicious- the fish wasn't dry at all and the batter was crispy and flavorful. The second time I had the shepherd's pie, and it was AMAZING. One of the best things I've ever tasted, just like my Nan used to make. My mom tried the open faced brisket and the rueben, and they were phenomenal as well. The staff was great too, we had the same waitress both times and she was so kind and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and the environment was relaxed, quiet, and clean. I wish I was a local just so I could come here every day.

Nice place, nice welcome, fresh and good food, reasonable price, cool atmosphere, warm place: it ticks all the boxes. And fast too. When setting up, don't hesitate to ask for a table for 4 even if you have 2

If you like sitting at a bar taking in some sport on the tv, drinking good beer and eating a burger this is the place for you.

Decent food, attentive service. Small portions and huge bill. What do you expect in NYC? It is well located and the atmosphere is clean and friendly.

Went in for 1 round of drinks - served by 2 lovely Irish girls and had great drinks there in their lovely roof terrace. Food also looked good. However, on leaving we went to pay at the bar and a rude American girl took the money for the drinks and then demanded a 15-20% tip. Given that they'd moved us to a different table, brought us one drink and we had to go and pay at the bar as one waiter refused to bring the bill to us, we didn't feel a tip was deserved. Ruined the whole experience there.

Went for lunch with a friend who had a gift coupon for the place. I got a Guinness on tap and a steak sandwich which was good, but nothing special. My buddy got a chicken sandwich which he said was also good. Came with potatoes which were a cross between French fries and potato chips. They were ok but a bit cold. For dessert, we were given three choices. We chose one and the server went downstairs to put in our dessert order, but shortly came back and told us that none of the three choices were really available. They said that they only had chocolate ice cream, so I had that. That would make some diners a unhappy, but it wasn't too much of a distraction for us. Given the whole experience, we might go back. Prices comparable to a similar eatery. Average!

We stopped for a break while walking around the city. It has the old bar feel with all of the dark woods. We got a couple of cold beers and decided to order food. We just ordered some chicken strips to share. They were okay. Definitely frozen. They didn't come with enough dips/sauce, and no one every came by to check on us after the food was delivered. They also put them on a piece of lettuce which was just gross and wilted. They should just skip that. Had to go to the bar to get our check, since no one every came back, which was disappointing. Also, if you are an Auburn fan, this looks like a good place to, based on the flag hanging by the front of the bar. It had stairs, but we never went upstairs. We just stayed in the lower bar, so I can't comment on that.

Looking for a place for catching up with old friends or a chance to catch your breath after fighting the crowds around Rockefeller Center? You’ll find it at St. Pat’s. They feature a generous selection of beer on tap or in bottles. Wine comes by the glass or by the bottle. The speciality cocktails change seasonly. We’ve only sampled the appetizers but the full menu looks good. When I need a place to meet friends for late afternoon conversation in midtown this is my first choice.

We were greeted warmly and after a late lunch, we came back to the bar for a drink. There was not standing room near the bar. I had onion soup which was good. My wife had a cheeseburger, which was very good, but they did not provide mustard and ketchup with out flagging them down. There was also no salt and pepper on the table. My friends both got different salads that they enjoyed. The service was bad.

We stopped here for a few drinks after a show. Coming in from the mob scene outside, this was a safe haven in a pub crammed with young adults who obviously enjoyed the music and food inside. The wait staff were wonderfully attentive in a such a crowded place and the decor was wonderfully Celtic cozy.

The bar is nice and the staff friendly but there is one black mark in my opinion. 99% of bars and restaurants we have visited have a suggested gratuity at the bottom of the bill. This bar just added it on without asking or suggesting.

We visited this pub in March on St Patrick’s Day before attended the parade. What a great pub!!! We were made to feel so welcome by everyone including members of the New York pipes & drums band and the NYFD who were happy to have photos with us and loved our ‘Peaky Blinders’ accent!!! The service was great and we had a all round great day, we will definitely be back the next time we visit New York. Thanks for making our first St Patricks day in New York so memorable.

We stopped for some lunch and drinks the one day. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but definitely picked up. The service was slow and the food was alright. The drinks were expensive compared to elsewhere. With all the places in the city, this is one i would avoid.

We went Dec 3 at 7 pm. By then they had run out of burgers, pastrami and club sandwiches, but they didn't tell us until after our drink orders, arrived. I got the brisket instead of the burger and it was terrible. Yuck

Stopped in for a quick bite of food. The chicken was way over cooked but on a cold plate and it was more warm than hot. Bar was nice. However overall average.

New Yorkers are into their sport. This place is a colleague alumni bar and has real atmosphere on a a game night. My first real experience of watching colleague football and doing it in this atmosphere was a read unique experience.

Guiness poured how it should be and two bars. I stopped in before a show at The Town Hall and though the bartender was slow... very slow, she was pleasant and I liked her. I ordered from a game day menu and my only criticism is my chicken fingers came with nothing ... no fries, no dips (i had to ask for), no chips ... nada ... three lonely chicken fingers on a big white plate. They were very lonely chicken fingers, but cooked nicely.

Went to this bar twice on my visit to New York , food was great and the beer was cold and a great selection , staff were very friendly and really helpful , place was nice and clean I would recommend visiting .

Had a lovely evening with my new wife @St. Pats. Called in for some drinks and food. Excellent range of food available. Bar staff were excellent and created an great vibe for the customers. It was clear to see both locals and tourists enjoyed this bar as the night went on. Highly recommend calling into this warm, lively Irish bar! Cheers.

Came in to see the play Beautiful, and kept finding places with wait times of over an hour. Walked right in to St. Pat's and got one of the few tables left, and were so glad we did. Our waitress, Chloee was from Limerick and was one if the best waitresses we have ever encountered. She recommended the Shepherd's Pie in her Irish accent, and I was so glad she did. We will be back, and have already recommended this place to others!

We were there last night. We were on our this refill and the food no where to be seen. It finally arrived and it was good. A bit overpriced. The place wS beautifully decorated for xmas but the other tables were also complaining how late the food was arriving.

My mom and I who have been to Ireland loved this pub. Authentic Irish feel. From the host to the wait staff. Food was delicious! Shared the pulled pork sandwich. Will definitely be back when visit NYC !

We ended up here after a disappointing experience elsewhere. We had seen it earlier as we were coming in to park. Quite pleasant, clean, small pub. Friendly service. Not bad selection with options for kids. Good food that hit the spot on a cold, rainy day

Went in for a few drinks and stayed for some food. Drink selection really good and the pints are poured well, unlike experiences in some other bars in New York. Food really well prepared and a good selection. Will definitely return when next in New York.

Just had the most enjoyable meal, a big choice on the menu. As you would expect, large portions, but tasty. Pumpkin pie lovely, lemon sorbet refreshing, Irish coffee the best! Night time drinks value for money. Just across from the Hotel@times square, so very handy for a night of good banter and good drinks. Staff excellent, very helpful, all in all a good experience.

Good craft beer bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Interesting selection on craft beers. We also ate here and had a good meal, pub food but tasty and ample.

Wow -- this was far from my UK home but very near to the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. Buzzing pub and lovely food -- lovely staff too & super fast service. < BE AWARE> -- portions are absolutely MASSIVE and 1 choice will serve 2 people unless you can eat one potato more than a pig !!! Highly Recommended.

We went there related to had a Groupon I had the Cornbeef Sandwich, which was very Good, and and my Friend had the Chicken Sandwich both very Good. So this Sports Barr and Resturant the Staff very friendly and Nice, this Place close to TimeSquare. So recommend this Place.

Typical bar with well made food and nice enough drinks. Wish we could have hung out in their beer garden though, that would probably have made the experience nicer! Follow them on instagram, they're great with updating when they have special offers and events coming up!

We found St. Patrick's after a trip to NYC for the Rockettes show just before Christmas. Arrived around 4:30 and were able to be seated upstairs near the bar. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was great (also the variety of beer). However, by 5:00 the after-work singles crowd flooded in and the noise kept us from table conversation among ourselves. A great place to go, but if you need quite for conversation, ask to be seated away from the bar area.

Our food (French onion soup; Shepard's pie; salad) was good. However, our table by the window was drafty and the service was a little more perfunctory than it was warm. Not bad for a simple meal.

Friendly bar, just went in for a few drinks after a day of busy sightseeing, clean and tidy with helpful bar server

wandered in to whet our whistle. Great place for a beer or whatever makes you smile. Good atmosphere, typical NY prices. Good way to end your day

Hungry & thirsty saw this place and ducked in. All acceptable but nothing special. I think it would be a great place for drinking and having a laugh for sure !

We were here on a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed a glass of wine while we waited for a table and the staff were really helpful when we explained that we were going a a show later and didn't have a lot of time. The food was very good and served with a smile, we had the fish and chips and the servings were plentiful and the fish was delicious, sorry we didn't have time for a return visit!

While we visited the Pub daily, we only ate here the last day but it was a pleasant surprise. It is a shame however that WiFi does not work in the Restaurant.

I've been having a craving for a burger... and that was a good 'messy' burger!!! 😍🤗 super happy and cravings stumped... for now

Came to New York 12-09-22 Found this cute Irish pub! John is lovely & very helpful with sightseeing tips! The staff are great! Fries/Chips are amazing!! Drinks are great! Will be back!! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!! Making this a regular for the duration of my stay at NYC

Great Food and Drinks especially the cocktails!! Staff exceptionally friendly. Peter the manager was really nice, Cathy on the door was very helpful and kind and Fergal is a great bartender. I would so recommend this bar to anyone who wants a good time.

This is a good restaurant with lots of choices. I’d you want the shepherds pie get here early they sell out. Location is easy to find and. Good overall service.

I tried to eat here on Christmas Eve 2017,even made a reservation, they were closed when I arrived, they didn't tell me that when I made the reservation, anyway I decided to give them a shot on my first night back in NYC since then,it was ok ,nothing to brag about,I nearly forgot I ate there, the waitress was very good, the diet soda tasted off, like Sam's Choice cola from Walmart, the bangers and mash I ordered was good, /most likely I won't go back, after all there are lots more choices in Times Square and on w46th St afterall.

This is one pub where you are sure of a pleasant experience. It's lively and bustling and the staff are up to the task while being cheerful and friendly. The food is excellent and the portions are big and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit

It was our last dinner in NYC and we went here after reading reviews. Bad choice- I would not go here again! There were 6 people in our group and 3 asked for the NY steak and 2 for the hanger steak. 30 minutes after ordering, the waitress came back and said they only had 1 hanger steak and so I changed my option to the NY steak. I was disappointed that it took that long just to inform us. The food came out at different times, the chicken strips being the last thing to come out. When we asked for ranch dressing, we were brought mayonnaise! We had 3 different servers for some reason, yet they didn't come to our table often. If we needed something, we had to wait a while before someone came by. All restaurants drop off straws when you order water and soft drinks, not this pub. When I finally got my steak, it was bland, but the sauce covered up the tasteless steak. The mashies and vegetables were good. Walking to and from the table was a challenge- the floor is really slippery, how does this restaurant get away with that, it truly is unsafe! The workers were slipping and sliding everywhere, but they seem to be ok with it. We were in and out in 2 hours, which is a really long time. Service was bad and slow and the worst part is that they conveniently include the gratuity on the check. They truly did not deserve a $30 tip, but when I asked, I was told I couldn't change it. If this policy was changed, maybe better service would be given by the servers so that they actually "earn" the tip!!!! I don't recommend this place.

I can't review the food since I didn't actually eat there, but if their customer service is any indication, well. So I made a reservation for 12/24/2017 for 8pm. Never got a response despit them having my email address. So at 8 pm I went there,,they were closed, now I'm pretty sure someone at that restaurant could have responded with a "Were sorry sir we close at 8pm would you like to come earlier in the evening or even during the day, this is New York City for goodness sake, they have the skills to send an email,I live in a town of about 3000 people and guaranteed I would have gotten a response saying sorry we're closing early that night,so in the end it is in Manhattan on Restaurant Row so there will be plenty of choices to eat but never will I eat at St Parick's Pub.

We arrived about 8 pm and someone from bar began to speak to us until our server could seat us, at first we thought he was an employee but it turned out he was just a regular. This was fine with us and I love when locals are in places where we are eating because it means the place is usually doing something right. My daughter and I ordered the steak, my husband went with a pastrami sandwich and my grandson had the shrimp appetizer. All the food was good and my steak was cooked to perfection. The sides were asparagus and mashed potatoes. The asparagus was good, the potatoes were ok, but I am not a big fan of mashed potatoes. The shrimp was huge and more than enough for a meal for a kid. Overall the food was good and the price was reasonable for the 4 of us. We will return on our next trip to NYC.

Such a great bar and restaurant the food staff and atmosphere is jyst amazing its like home from home local 3 story place with fab rooftop area food is fantastic and it's in perfect location

I found this restaurant through a Groupon offer. It was a fantastic location with friendly staff; the burger, fries and pasta were excellent. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Good pub! Very clean, very friendly... and the beers were cold. Perfect stop in between shopping and sight-seeing. Reasonably priced entrees and appetizers.

Went tonight with my brother as we were looking for somewhere quick to dine before going to top of the rock. On opening the door I was put off by the really loud music however don't be as st the back where you eat the volume is fine. Waiter was Excellent, attentive but not overly so which is perfect for me. We had a great meal at a good price for new york. But be warned unlike anywhere else in new york they automatically add an 18% tip to the bill! Now i am happy to tip good service & had already planned to leave a tip as it was well worth it but o don't like being made to, it was the only thing that tainted a good evening.

A kinda authentic Irish bar. Real accents, lots of drafts, but not Irish drafts, and limited audience. Food looks lukewarm and prepared way in advance. Basic fried choices. Not a place to eat. People are friendly enough serving. It's too close to TimesSquare..so u know it's $10 a beer. As a result..8pm on Thursday see photo! Not a NY experience...keep looking chap

We spent a week in New York and kept coming back to this bar. Great food and beers and really friendly staff. Very clean and food atmosphere.

We booked an offer via Groupon NYC for this pub for a credit against our final bill. After a long flight from the UK this was a great location being only 5 minutes from our hotel. We were shown to our table at the rear of the building. Don't expect much room between tables so we were glad it wasn't that busy. Drinks were in our opinion reasonably priced. There was not a special Groupon Menu which you tend to find when you buy a voucher so there was no restrictions on what you bought. We did not have starters and went straight for mains. We chose a Reuben Sandwich along with a steak sandwich both very enjoyable and cooked well. When we got the bill at the end, they didn't take the credit earned off the Groupon voucher - make sure they do. Also, the gratuity is compulsory and is set by the pub.

Arrived over on a 50th all 25 of us and were looked after brilliantly in this bar,The staff here were by far the best we encountered after visiting numerous bars in the City,Food was top notch as well,Defo a bar to visit if you're ever in Manhattan and it doesn't matter when it's busy as the staff are on the ball at all times and you won't go thirsty.

My wife is a big Auburn University fan. This bar and grill regular hosts the NY Auburn Alumni Club for football games. Good food, great service, large TV's, and a fun atmosphere

We enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. Everything was fresh and quite tasty. We were the only ones dining at the time as the restaurant was just opening on an early Saturday morning. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast....all nicely done and well presented.

Went looking for breakfast food after lunch time and with it being weekend they served breakfast until 3pm; two had breakfast, two ordered from main menu. The food was absolutely amazing and it was a clean environment with a good vibe to it. The price for two adults and two children was $123 which we found quite expensive for 'breakfast' although that included 4 alcoholic drinks and 1 soft drink. That aside, we will definitely go again before we leave.
Go hungry
I had a Groupon for St. Pats, sometimes places are hit or miss when you get a Groupon. This place is absolutely a hit! My son and I sat out on the deck. It was very pleasant. The waitress was quick and very accommodating. We had the messy burger. It was huge! It came with fries. We were seeing a show after lunch and asked for the check right away. The waitress brought it right away with a smile. I will definitely go back.
