As a visitor to NYC lately this restaurant and its sister restaurants became my choice stop place if i needed a bite or to snack. Liked your variety of snacks including healthy snacks. Great service at all times and kind supportive staff. I will definitely stop by again and again

Wow, I have never, ever stood in line so long to get my coffee at STarbucks. The place was packed and the staff did a good job keeping the 50+ people waiting for their drink moving through process. I honestly felt bad for them, it was just so busy. They really did a good job.

While waiting to access the visit to the Empire State Building we stopped a few meters before access to have breakfast. Among the many visited in the United Kingdom and Italy, this is by far the most beautiful and assorted.

Used Starbucks throughout USA on a recent holiday, and whilst it was great to see a flat white available, it still needs work!! Come to Starbucks in New Zealand if you want to try a REAL coffee!!! Also found the Starbucks ordering system really does not work at busy locations especially at Disneyworld, Universal Studios and Epcot Center in Orlando - often saw people pick up the wrong orders resulting in many having to be remade. There was also very little waiting room too, which added to the confusion and frustration!

Clean, tidy and efficient. The free wi-fi definitely helps to bring people in. An 'A' rated establishment. We were told about the rating system in NYC on day 1 and it helped us makes choices where to eat.

This Starbucks was right down the street from my hotel. I went to it several times during my five day stay in NYC. Everything in NYC is busy and crowded and it is what it is. The staff were very courteous and I received my order as requested in an acceptable timeframe. It lost two stars due to the nastiness of the restrooms. This just wasn't just a bad day. I used the rest room several times and the same HOT piss smell was bad enough to make your eyes water. I understand how busy it can be, but something needs to be done.

Its hard to get a really good coffee in US the way NZers and Australians like it. Cups are huge, always takeaway cups and never crockery, really milky, not very strong. Starbucks is everywhere and reliable as anywhere else. All the locals do it.

Coffee was really good and we'll priced. Clean and good internet free access.had breakfast a few ti!mes

Stopped in here for some coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich. The coffee and sandwich were good. There is limited seating upstairs but they have more seating downstairs. The table upstairs had wireless charging pads which was nice. The bathroom was mostly clean, but the toilet was pretty dirty in the back and bottom, it could of used a good cleaning. This was early, after 7 am, so it wasn't cause of the use that day.

You can't get much more Manhattan than this, sipping good coffee at the Empire State Bldg. We were pleased with the location and the good coffee.

Great place for a drink stop free wifi and toilets Starbucks on every street in New York so pop in to rest your feet and use the facilities

We stopped by for a cup of coffee with few friends. It was crowded because of the location. That does not justify the amount of trash all over the store. We were there for approximately 30 minutes, and no one tried to clean up the area that was already filthy. Dunkin Donuts was cleaner with better coffee! Something is wrong with Starbucks these days. The prices were OK.

We went to Starbucks every day of our holiday! Whether it be for a frappucino, free wi-fi or just to rest our weary feet (though seats can be hard to come by).

The coffee at Starbucks seems extra creamy, it is also a good place to get drinking water (surpsrisingly cheaper than the supermarkets we found) and for a dose of fresh fuit which is not standard by ameican breakfasts. The New York City mug with relief and yellow cab is also a nice souvenir.

very busy, typical Starbucks quality,a bit dirty in places, toilets needed a clean, staff were swept of their feet with customers ordering drinks/food etc,we found it a tad expensive to what we experienced elsewhere but its is the Big apple so be prepared to pay top dollar

I always liked Starbucks - in places where there's no better coffee. At least you could always get a decent cup of coffee here, anywhere in the States. Since they decided to join forces with Nestle, I decided I will not spend another penny in any Starbucks, not even buy their city cups all around the world on my travels; I already boycott Nestle products since years.

We used our Starbucks card and love the wifi. Café Latte is always good. There isn't much seating in many of the Starbucks but just wait around for someone to get up.

had a coffee here, not much seating but excellent service. Lots more to pick from than in the uk....

A typical Starbucks but literally around the corner from The Empire State Building. Small seating area on floor level but more seating in basement although a little dark and dingy. The toilets need a code to use. A good place for a coffee after visiting the Empire State Building.

There was a Starbucks close to the hotel, and it became our first stop for the day. Not having tea or coffee making facilities in the room, that coffee from here was even more welcome! More reasonably priced than UK variation!

Slow, messed up order, food not warm, 1 of their 2 bathrooms out of order and the other was disgusting - used toilet paper all over the floor, stool had matter on it, and so on. Maybe just a bad day for store, but it happened to be while I was there.

Like all Starbucks the staff are very friendly and helpful and this was another fine example of that quality service.

thi place was clean, and surprisingly had no line, and our drinks were spot on! this was a quick stop at the base of the empire state building with pleny of seating as well!

Could be in any Starbucks anywhere. Very busy, not too clean, toilets are very poor. Nothing positive to say. Sorry.

Starbucks gives excellent, aromatic, smashing coffee with variety of eatables - unforgettable experience which attracts fans like me again and again. Starbucks gives me Irresistible, inimitable quality of products. Hats off.

What's not to like, a New York Starbucks, amazing as you would expect. Can get quite busy, as they all do, but when in New York, you have to visit one!

All Starbucks seem to recognised as place to spend a penny. Always a line. Look for a local department store. Much cleaner and no lines. Have a coffee but forget about the bathroom stop. It's a myth that there are no other choices.

Great place for Coffee and free wifi to catch up with e-mail from home or sending out e-mail and pictures form there

Starbucks is as American as it can be. Delicious coffee, but the floors could be swiped once in while.

It's in my building so just really easy, but if I have a few minutes I prefer to cross the street for the Starbucks at 33rd and Fifth. Much better service and shorter lines over there... But well, ordering coffee in the ESB must be a cool experience when visiting New York. And the coffee is OK.

Going to keep this short. The coffee is like every other Starbucks. Good quality, a bit hot but excellent. Door policy with those with a pushchair or wheelchair however is something else. The main door is revolving so these will not fit. There is a sticker on the door staying ring bell. We did that on multiple occasions and no one came. 10 minutes later after guest inside pointed us out to staff they finally opened the door. Men's toilet out of order so both sexes are using the ladies which is in a grim state. Urine all over the pan. It's discussing and has not been checked in hours. The 1 rating is for the coffee.

love it so much!especially the variety of coffee and backery)free wi-fi, nice staff and good design of interior.

Popped into various New York Starbucks about twice a day ( 12 x approx). Great coffee, hot chocolate and selection of snacks but they never succeeded in getting our order right. Never had this happen in other cities so not sure why the New York service is so inefficient.

When walking in the city we got very cold. There is a Starbucks on every corner and is a great way to warm up with a nice hot chocolate! They taste great! Side note, they also have toilets so if you need to go and can't find a loo, Starbucks has them!

I surprised my boys by taking them on an evening trip into the city. In order for them to appreciate the sounds of Midtown, I kept the car windows down. They were so happy and so excited but then the mood drastically changed...we could hear the cry of a what seemed to be a homeless person piercing through the crowd literally begging for someone to "please help me Lord please help me" as he shook and awaited contributions to his empty cardboard coffee cup. The car was silent. Our hairs stood up. Ive never heard someone beg from their heart like that. The person sounded like he was in sheer agony and was experiencing the greatest suffering of all time as he cried out "please help me, please" as he wept and sobbed. It was so real! Our hearts went out to him as we teared up...I could hear him but I could barely see him...the crowd covered him. Anyhow after that to cheer the boys up I found parking and took them to this Starbucks (Empire State Building). The order was somehow screwed up and the staff prepared the wrong coffee. The staff however was nice enough NOT to disguard the wrong coffee and gave it to us anyway. We ended up with an extra drink. On the way to the car the idea came up to look for the "weeping" guy who so moved our hearts...he was on the corner of 7th Ave and 31st. The Starbucks mistake was God's way of blessing another. I gave the boys some cash and let them out of the car. They were so nervous as they approached him but boy what an honor to see the boys serve that man the Starbucks coffee. The man's eyes just lit up in awe!!! He said "Wow!!! God bless you!" It must have made his night....He no longer cried. Now he just smiled! 😁 God moved the hearts of our young people including the Starbucks staff to make a difference...little did they all know just how much and how significant their roles were --- including the decision to give away the second coffee in lieu of discarding it. Thank you Starbucks staff for making the choice NOT to throw away the wrong drink. It made someone warm that night and brought a smile to someone who was weeping just moments prior. The "mistake" was perfect!!!! Great move Starbucks!!!!!!!

During my recent trip i could walk to this Starbucks every morning for my Coffee, very clean and very efficiently run, polite staff and great location.

My wife and I could not find a good coffee ANYWHERE in NY, it's all brewed and burnt. So we were relegated to drinking hit chocolate, wow that was good

Enjoyed a mint, mocha here, had to be done . Great, quick service as expected in America. Enjoyed walking to Central Park sipping my moch and taking in the feel of New York.

I went here for coffee with a friend of mine. We went during mid-afternoon on a weekday and wanted to have coffee there itself. We expected all the seating to be full given very few chairs in the location. We lucked out and grabbed a table as someone was leaving. The coffee and condiments are what you would expect from a standard Starbucks. The location is great though, given it is off fifth avenue, near the subway and close to central park.

We like to take our Starbucks coffee to go and continue with our day. But you can also sit here and use the wifi.

This is a large Starbucks on the ground level of the Empire State Building. The entrance is on the north side of the building one 34th street. There is an upper level on the ground floor and a lower level down the stairs no elevators. The service was very good for a busy Starbucks. The two levels can handle a large amount of customers. The tables on the lower level have electrical outlets along the walls behind the tables.

I liked Starbucks because since I loved to dink caramel frappunico crunch. I never let Starbucks go because I keep think bout caramel frappe crunch in 2014 but I started drink Starbucks in 2012 or 2013.

The title said ... good place for a coffee close to a real espresso and also one of the few place in NY where you can find a restroom ... often with a long queue

While running around Manhattan, we took a break to order a latte here and were happy with the results, consistent with their usual.

Quick, friendly service and surprisingly clean inside. The bathroom line was a bit long but I guess that’s expected for a Starbucks right at the Empire State Building.

Starbucks is as ever RELIABLE! The coffee is great, and access to the internet was so welcome, I can't tell you! We were able to reassure people at home we were ok and having a ball. Thank you Starbucks!

I never start a day without this coffee. I like the coffee. I prefer although the service and the atmosphere in the European locations. in America I find Starbucks very dusty!

As a Brit not used to drinking coffee first thing Starbucks was the first stop of the day. Their black tea with bag in and fresh milk available should meet the needs of any Brit with tea withdrawal. Also, if you're ordering to go, pick up some of the little tabs to block the hole on the lid so it doesn't spill on the subway/in cab.

Shop very large and very supplied in merch Reserve. Staff understaffed and not very friendly. Absolutely boiling and undrinkable coffee before at least 10min, served in a cup inside a second in addition to the cup protector...

Everything is bad: the employees are rude, the seats are dirty, you can’t even ask a glass of water without being told ask at the front!

This is a typical starbucks, the downstairs seating area is a little uninspiring, but the toilets and coffee were both very welcome after a trip up the Empire State. We found starbucks prices here quite expensive compared to the UK (probably the awful exchange rate at the moment!) but other coffee shops did seem much cheaper.

Imagine our joy at finding a Starbucks right at the base of the Empire State Building! After a chilly, early morning visit to the ESB, we had time to kill before Macy's opened their doors. No problem! We nestled into Starbucks, home away from home.

Popped in here while Empire State Building opened. Nice cup of coffee and a soft breakfast muffin. Pleasant staff.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, fast service, clean restaurant, lots of places to sit. This place was busy, but they worked quickly and got orders out in a timely fashion.

Coffee was ok but we got the feeling that the staff did not really care. It was a busy period but regardless...

Coffee is what is what supposed to taste like so it was consistent... Place is pretty busy as it is near the empire state bldg.

I don't have anything bad to say about this Starbucks, it's conveniently located at the base of The Empire State Building, the service is a little slow when it's busy but my only complaint is the lack of seating. I'm not sure of the exact number but 12 comes to mind. A great place for a coffee on the go but for a foot tired explorer visiting the city who wan't to sit, not so much.

We bought our lattes and noticed a few places to sit, but mostly people were taking their drinks to go as we did. OK quality and fast.

Enjoyed Starbucks for the variety of food and drinks also the place has free wifi which was a big plus as our hotel's wifi wasn't working properly

I know it's in the lobby of the Empire State Building, but the people here are incredibly nice. A well trained staff blows through their many orders with incredible ease and accuracy!

We visited several Starbucks in NYC but I am singling this one out for a review. It had friendly employees and nice large spaces. Stop by on your way out of the Empire State Building.

They should take the reserve title from this Starbucks. Nothing like the one in Chelsea. This place is basically a normal Starbucks but dirtier and no where to sit. Poorly trained staff and out of pretty much out of food. Give it a miss.

We used the many Starbucks as a resting point, Strawberry and Cream Frappuccino, twenty minutes back in the street until next break needed. Always quick friendly service and free wifi.

I ordered a panini and a drink. Panini came quick but then had to wait about 15 mins for my drink standing up, by that time my food is cold. Workers are slow and lazy. Girl making my drink didn’t look like she wanted to be there and was making other people’s drinks first when I had been waiting before that!! She didn’t acknowledge I was waiting and would serve someone for tap water but still hadn’t done my drink. Servers were not friendly. Will not return. Shame as I usually love Starbucks.

the cakes and coffee are all yummy staf is kind a very quik service and comfortable rest place full of energy and have many choice to eat and drink and also free wifii is vondrful

Just your bog standard Starbucks. Nothing special really other than its location! Its still good though!

I liked it very much. A nice variety of coffee and tea. Nice place to sit and relax after a shopping day!

Only place that could make a good cup of tea. British style...Staff friendly and fun to chat with. The one outside the Sheraton in Time square was one we visited a few times.

i like Starbucks, the coffee is good the food is OK and they have wi fi. the bathrooms are always clean and the staff are friendly.

Good food, But the server kept calling the drink to the front, not the place where we were supposed to get food.

This is a big Starbucks, tables in two floors. Coffee was as good as you would expect but only Blueberries left to go with it. The floor below the entry level is completely underground without windows making it less appealing.

While travelling in different countries I often visit a local Starbucks for a relaxing coffee served in a real cup and to use the wifi. This was an altogether different experience. The only seating was in a dismal downstairs area with no windows and full of people with throwaway coffee cups staring at their smart phones. Was there wifi? I couldn't find it! What a waste of resources and a waste of this prime location at the bottom of the Empire State Building. Next time I will head for an independent coffee shop.

Great coffee, reasonably priced and located everywhere. Good quality of cakes and snacks. We don't get Starbucks in the wilderness of France so it was a daily treat.

The coffee is good and hot and some of the pastries are tasty, but most places are small with too few seats and no restrooms.

We ordered and whilst we were waiting for the order they messed up other peoples orders. When they finally did ours they also got the order wrong. The staff were extremely rude with everyone and seemed to think it was ok to blame the customers for their lack of attention. One lady just kept saying that she was nearly ready for home and didn't care what people thought. Needless to say we never went into another Starbucks on our whole holiday after that.

New York coffee ain't great - in fact most of it is pretty bad. Starbucks abound and are often a reliable compromise when you need a shot of caffeine.

going to the empire state building from the morgan hotel on madison great to grab coffee and a muffin , bathroom clean etc, so you dont have to wait in the empire building bathroom great spot !!!!!!!!

Fine starbucks with quick service. located on the base of the empire state building. Breakfast for two: 2 coffee, 2 loafs of cake: 20USD! Long line in front of the toilet, on the ground floor at the back! Seating area downstairs is quite big,

The servants were helpful and got good ambience to chill down and have nice hot and cold drinks with some delicious snacks.

The food was great but it was too scammed. There were too many people and it was not easy to get the waiters attention.

Always greeted with a smile by the team and served up a delicious hot or cold chai latte, my favorite and signature drink. Located on Broad Street and convenient to the Kroger right behind, the parking lot can be a bit congested from time to time.

I've visited Starbucks so often in NYC. It's just a must-do. They're everywhere. So just relax get a cup of coffee or thee and enjoy the place you're in. NYC that is. :)

I love Starbucks, the only disappointing thing was that wheelchair access / stroller door was locked; it was really cold outside I had a stroller and all the staff just looked at me whilst I knocked on the door standing in the wind and rain. The girls that worked there were kind enough to yell for me to use the revolving door! Are you kidding me.... Finally I yelled out open the door and a guy from under the counter stood up looked at the 3 girls and said why haven't you opened the door... they stared like a dazed deer at him. So he rushed over to get the door. Then the ladies toilet door kept getting jammed on the way in, and one of the staff was like ''oh just use a card to open it from the outside". The coffee and food was good, but there service was pretty ordinary!

We had breakfast a few days at Starbucks but on the whole the ones in London are better. The quality of the food is better back home and the cost more in New York

Very cheeky members of staff. When asked to add on something to the Order the server sighed as if it was a difficult task. Then when we were waiting, we waited for about 5 minutes people had come and gone and we were still waiting. Then when we asked where was a part of our order the server (different member this time) said with an uninterested approach said it might be over there. P.S coffee was good.

Super excited when I came across this as I LOVE Starbucks at home. The signature espresso martini was excellent that we had. So much so we were keen for another. We were having a great time until we had to try and order another drink which in itself took a while but when we eventually ordered our drinks took so long we gave up and decided to go to another bar. Needed more servers as we would have stayed and ordered more

Love the spinach pastry and the iced green tea lemonade. Service was quick and easy with a smile ...

This Starbucks is located on ground level of the Empire State building.. so if that is not cool enough, this Starbucks is very unique as it has menu items that no other location does like... Pizza! This location is spacious, with plenty of seating, service is great even thought is very busy.

stopped by there to get a quick breakfast right after our morning visit to the empire state building observation deck. standard starbucks menu and very friendly baristas. tip: use the bottom floor to avoid noise and crowd.

Ground floor has only to-go food/drink, so you have to eat upstairs if you want to sit down. The upstairs menu has NO plain coffee, tea or chai drinks, and there is no ability to modify the printed menu. Food is tasty, but the service is so slow that it’s easy to lose your appetite! Plus the restrooms were really bad news. Pick your favorite Starbucks and go there instead!

My daughter and I enjoyed the experience of walking around New York but the Starbucks, on nearly every corner, certainly kept us going throughout the days. All well maintained and staff very friendly

Starbucks by Empire State Building was a nice place to pause before next sightseeing visit. Coffee and tea very nice, service was ok.

This is the most expensive coffee in all of the United States of American........ For a very good reason.

Very friendly and quick service. Clean store. I like Starbucks ice coffee !!! Great coffee! Stopped for a little refuel of energy, then away we went!
many better variety coffess r available
first time visitors ti USA pls give it a try. Starbucks is a must in ur visit to USA. NO visit to USA can be complete without visiit to this place. Starbuck is overrated.. many other brands n coffess r lot better. Still dont miss on it :)
