Great lunch. Too bad we did

By RenatodiCaprio |

Great lunch. Too bad we did not take more pics. Fantastic setting outside. Great service. Very good lunch. Simple and very tasty. From the burger (one of the best), king crab tempura, club sandwich, pasta, and dessert. All great. I’ll give you two pics. Sorry did not take more.

Just bad

The food is terrible.the drinks were okay. The waiter was nice. They need to move that lady out the restroom. Won’t be coming back

Swan Miami

By Catherine Shaw |

Never have I ever been so disappointed in a restaurant that is considered so high end. The service was mediocre and was not treated as a customer should. The food was delicious but the portion sizes were embarrassingly small that I accidentally said “what is this?” to the server when he brought my dish because I was so shocked at how little food they gave me. It actually took me a total of 3 minutes to finish my entree. I was so disappointed that I didn’t want to spend more money on food there that when we left we went to a different restaurant just to get an actual meal. Save your time and more importantly save your money and go somewhere else!

The BEST!

By kristal l |

My new go to spot in Miami! The food is delicious and fresh I really enjoyed the Crab Benedict. The brunch vibe is great for a weekend outing, good music, great drinks ( the Spicy Jaja is a must have ) and the service was incredible. My server Brittany was awesome! Looking forward to my next experience here!

Nice ambiance. For food go somewhere else

By Lorena Sh |

The place is hype and in. Menu is extremely limited. Service is mediocre at best. I would go for a drink at the bar and not have dinner there. Too expensive for what it is.

The worst

By Doris P |

Valet parking takes for ever. Extremely expensive mediocre food and drinks (juice). 18% Tip is automatically added to the bill... hence worst service ever! Stay away from this place... not worth the drive, hassle and crappy food and drinks!

Fantastic!!!!

By Samuel M |

What an amazing place, the food was outstanding, the service was great, every single dish was spectacular, the souffle at the end was out of this world!!!!! Do not miss it!!!

Good - Bueno

By The Spanglish Guy |

Located in design district. There are plenty of self parking around or even valet. Decor is modern, elegant and at the same time casual like garden style. Have a few ambiences like terrace, indoor, bar area and a 2nd floor bar/rest. Lunch time is always brunch. Service was ok. Food was good.

HORRIBLE

By Brett D |

We were very disappointed in our experience with this restaurant. They open at 6:00, yet at 6:05 they were still in a staff meeting and not greeting guests. Once seated, no one knew we were there, and we were IGNORED for at least 15 minutes. We ordered hamburgers (one “well done” and one “medium well”) and both were way undercooked and still “mooing” when they hit our table. We complained and were told it was a “kitchen mix up”. Ha! We were the only customers. Until and unless this place gets their act together…STAY AWAY!

Food very good, service very

By Adriana |

Food very good, service very good, a bit noisy (music) for brunch, upholstery extremely dirty which throws away all the above

Not worth it

By Fátima Velasquez |

I’m sorry but this restaurant is really not worth the money. The portions are soooo small, you leave there starving. If you don’t mind giving your money away on super small plates, then you should give it a try. If you think you will see a celebrity there good luck. This place is nothing like Komodo! Komodo is everything! If you want an all around restaurant go there. This place is lacking, sorry but I do not recommend.

Food is horrible for the price / Nice atmosphere

By Pierre-Antoine M |

We were 12 people ordering different plates, food was the worst I had compared to everything we tried so far in Miami. I mean for the price you don't get nothing close to what you would get elsewhere for the same price. It's so disapointing that they did'nt hire a good chef to make this place a real culinary spot. Salmon and salmon tartar were the worst we've seen in a long time. The sprouts were overcooked badly. Service was fine but also a bit rude. Atmosphere was great. I hope you guys make adjustements before you finally discover your hype is done. Good luck !

Great Service by Liron

By Carlos R |

Went into Swan the other afternoon for dinner and absolutely loved it. Liron took such great care of us. She was friendly, welcoming, and made great recommendations. Me and my friends had an amazing time and will definitely return.

Where stylish people go to dine and it’s good food

By Joseph A |

We had the opportunity to dine at Swan this past week. It was super busy and every table packed, but throughout it, the level of service of our waiter was great. There was a lot of us and we pretty much ordered all the small plates. The tartar both fish and beef are amazing. The corn, corn, corn savory pudding was so creamy and fresh. The deserts were just perfect. Not too heavy and no too sweet. Overall, it’s a hot spot where everyone is having fun, having tons of cocktails and also where the “Miami” style is full blown.

Trendy Groot Experience

By Krugger28 |

Has the potential to be amazing but misses on a few stars. The service and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Drinks were great and the location in the design district was excellent with outdoor seating for people watching. The inside restaurant is beautiful but my group thought the lighting was a bit too bright and space not very intimate since the tables are tight. Plus with all the hard surfaces it gets very loud. The menu is a bit short on items and uninspiring from sashimi, kale fritters pizza, duck, steak, scallops, etc. Nothing was bad but nothing was phenomenal either. Prices were not out of line so with just a bit of fine tuning Swan could turn the corner and be a winner but at present, it's not quite there.

Wonderful place for dinner among friends or special occasion with family.

By Globetrotter7707 |

Swan is a very appealing place for a wonderfully exotic dinner or a night out for drinks, the bar certainly has something for everyone with the most amazing drinks in town and the ambiance to keep you on your tip toes. It is definitely the place to be on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! I recommend to anyone who enjoys exquisite meals and who love ambiance!

Beautiful venue

By Stephen |

Adorable venue, very chic casual vibe inside. The patio with foliage is a perfect spot for an outdoor venue. Food wise, everything was delicious, though not necessarily unique. The short rib ravioli I’d come back for again and again. The octopus is similar dishes found an many area spots. The halibut was prepared properly & was moist, tender to taste.

5 star prices, 1 star service

By Carlitos W |

The service was laughable. I sat at the bar and ordered a $44 lobster salad and a $17 glass of Albariño. At these prices, I expected good service but I received the opposite. Asked for water (not offered) but it never came. I had to get up and ask the busboy. Salad came (looked beautiful) but it was bland. I asked for salt and pepper. Bartender showed up 7 minutes later with pepper (grinder was almost empty). Said he had to go look for salt. 5 minutes later, he served me a bowl of the wet salt they use for margaritas. Said “we don’t have salt shakers”. Unbelievable.

Sooooo overated

By sherrytheskier |

I heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to try it. First, very very very noisy. The service was ok, nothing great. However, the food was pretty underwhelming, I ordered a caesar salad and it had no taste at all. the mushroom pizza was ok but nothing great. What really bothered me was when I received the bill they had already added an 18% gratuity. I can understand that for large parties but we were only 2 people!!! I have never been to a restaurant where the gratuity was added for 2 people. I personally find that offensive. would not go back

So so

By A S |

If you are looking for a cool vibe in the design district then consider the outside patio for drinks. As far as a good restaurant for dinner, I would not recommend this place as the food was subpar..... at least the pizza. My wife had the salmon and said it was good though

Amazing brunch and much more

By Hala M |

Swan, in the design district, Midtown Miami for brunch was everything. Great food and the courtyard is perfect to eat outside. Waiting for our party to fully arrive, we decided to wonder upstairs. It made me want to come back in the evening just to experience the cocktail hours. The wall art, the vibe, I can just feel it. Amazing!

Absolutely Amazing

By akennedy1 |

I loved everything about Swan. Every single person that worked there was friendly. My server was absolutely wonderful. The food was really good and it came out in a timely manner. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and will definitely go back the next time I’m shopping in the design district.

Incredible Experience

By Miguel G |

We were seated immediately. Beautiful atmosphere and really good sanitation policies. Drinks were great (we had Negroni, wine and old fashioned). Food, both in taste and portions was incredible. Service very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Swan is a Must in the Design District of Miami!

By Eattery |

We were a party of 8 people--4 adults and 4 children (Ages 4-5-7-8 years old). We were concerned that we were not going to be welcomed because of the children. Instead---the hostess was so nice! Our waiter--Jhorvid (Jay) was superb! The food was fabulous! I would highly recommend this restaurant. (I have a SUV and wasn't able to Valet park---I finally parked at the Museum Parking Ramp--so, if you have an SUV--park there. It's close and cheap.

Waited almost 1.5 hours for

By Li Jee |

Waited almost 1.5 hours for a table (with a reservation) just to discover terrible food. Pizza undercooked, Octopus Carpaccio, Scallops, Duck were all nothing special. Very small portions .. And the polenta with popcorn ??? Seriously ?? Please take that off your menu! Only positive is music was great. Service was worst than any Nikki beach ... if you’ve been than you know what I mean. Host was very rude and unforgiving .

Amazing experience!!!

By Karla B |

My friend and I could only get reservations at Swan on a Sunday night....so obviously it's a booked solid restaurant. The food, ambiance and service did not disappoint!!! The owners have created a relaxing chic space where the food is tasty and the playlist is chill vibes. I will definitely be back!!

Comfortable vibe, good food

By Annette F |

We had a casual lunch here to kick off my birthday weekend celebration. My husband really enjoyed the short ribs ravioli, especially the fried garlic bits. I copped out and just had a burger - the waitress explained that it was two patties with cheese, smashed down. It was good. The fries were perfect. My husband had the Kahlahari cocktail - way too sweet. I had the mandarina; the waitress had them leave out the simple syrup and it was really good. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very nice, calm and restful - enjoyable. The wait staff seemed to go out of the way to make us feel comfortable.

Over Priced not good.

By cpsjg |

The service was terrible from the start to finish. The Burger was cold yet thin and burnt. Tuna was soggy and warm. Way overpriced don’t eat here.

Pleasant Surprise

By mtroner |

I was a bit hesitant about going to this restaurant as the reviews seemed to indicate some inconsistency. It is a bit expensive but the experience was quite nice for an upscale treat. The dining room looks stunning but we avoid indoors so ate on the lovely patio. Our waitress was excellent. Professional, poised, knowledgeable and made great suggestions.. The appetizers were good. My Caesar salad above average and the burratta superb with a great pomegranate jam. Our friends loved their mains, my wife greatly enjoyed her snapper and I was yearning for a simple hamburger and I was not disappointed. Oneof th best I've ever had. We enjoyed it so much we will be returning to celebrate a friends special birthday. Hopefully it will be great the second time as well.

Disappointing lunch

By Karen B |

Recently visited Swan for lunch as a party of 2 and we were initially seated right next to a large vocal group. We asked to be moved and they moved us to the next table over despite most of the tables in the cafe were empty. The large group was so loud it was difficult to even have a conversation at our table. Would not recommend this place!

DOESNT RESPECT COVID19 PROTOCOLS AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

By Natalia S |

Last night we had dinner at the restaurant and we had a "terrible experience". First of all, we made a reservation two weeks ago for 6 people "outside", we arrived and saw a lot of "RESERVED" empty tables but they gave us the worst table in a SUFFOCATING little room which was depressing. Not only that, but after a while we saw the manager greeting very affectionately and receiving a group of 30 young adults around 25 years old and sat them in two tables that were for a maximum of 8 people, in front of our tables and less 6 feet away, in that little room and not following CDC protocols. My husband called the manager and complained that they put us next to all these people who arrived without masks and EXPOSED all of us that we take care of ourselves a lot and respect the protocols to avoid contagions. The manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ...

BELIEVE THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS

By Matt R |

The Swan seems to have consistently mediocre to bad reviews across all online platforms. I really wanted to like this place, so I ignored them and came anyway. Big mistake. The outside dining area is beautiful and we selected a great bottle of wine, but it went downhill fast. The portion sizes are far too small for any price point, especially the prices here. I thought I chipped a tooth on a lobster shell that was in my Lobster Cavatelli and had to go to the restroom to check. By the way, the restrooms are weirdly small for such a large venue. Not a good idea to let a bathroom attendant set up shop complete with candy and cologne spread out across the sink in such a tight space. Do you know anyone who likes to use the restroom with someone just sort of awkwardly hanging out right next to them? In regards to service, lots of people with indifferent attitudes just standing around. At no time for I see a manager circulating and and at no time did anyone ask how our experience was. Seems that they have hired a very young crew with no prior food service experience and without proper training. Finally, you see a lot of guests that are here taking selfies and that think it’s appropriate to wear T-shirts and ball caps to dinner. My guess is that these are the people that wrote the good reviews.

Everything is perfectly balanced.

By Jericho R |

It has a great ambiance, well-made cocktails, and bartenders who know their craft. Everything is perfectly balanced. Thanks Club Bookers for suggesting this wonderful place!

Overall pretty nice food, decor and service

By Ms_R33480 |

Went on a Saturday afternoon while visiting Miami Design District, it was not overly crowded. Everything was OK, not fabulous, but OK. The service was prompt and efficient the decor was pleasant with fresh roses and linens at the tables, clean and modern. Prices are a little high. The menu was limited but had enough variety that one could find something to eat. Some of the plates were huge, like the hamburger or the omelet with four huge toasts, but other plates were tiny, like the ravioli. The pizza was enough for two people for lunch and it was very good but I would had preferred if the musrooms were a little cooked. The wine list was very overpriced.

Very bad customer service

By Sabrina S |

We went to Swan to celebrate a friends bachelorette party. The Swan is obviously the place to be right now but they couldn't care less about their customers. We were told we can only sit down for 1.45 hours. we ordered appetizers, portions are very very small so we reordered appetizers but never got them. We asked three times if we can get more appetizers but they kept ignoring us and just brought the entrees instead. We never got refills on our waters until we asked repeatedly several times. Our glasses were constantly left empty, we almost had to beg if we can order more drinks (wouldn't it be easy to sell more drinks to a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette party??) We wanted to order a final round of drinks at 10:30 pm and were told we cannot order more drinks and we have to leave now since we were occupying the table already more than 2 hours. They gave us the check and refused to take another order. Then the manager showed up and told us that we cannot order more drinks because they need the table (at 10:30pm). we told him that we are Miami locals and had never been refused to order something as paying customers in a restaurant and that we hope he understands that we won't come back to this venue since they refuse to serve us and he said he doesn't care. Never happened before that paying customers are refused to order more in a restaurant. They might me the hot spot today but might be forgotten tomorrow and nobody will return to that spot, then they wished they would have treated locals better who might come back on a regular basis. in the end, this unfair and unprofessional treatment left a bad taste with the entire group and we felt bad for our friend really. Food was ok but not wow, had the Lobster pasta and was totally over salted, appetizers were so small that it was ridiculous to even share them.

food served to fast !

By Poppy2580 |

We started out ordering drinks and appetizers, our appetizers came before the drinks after 15 minutes a manager walked bye and I informed that we wanted our drinks and he apologized very nice Mgr, Then our dinner came before we finished our appetizer or our first drink timing was way off!! finished dinner very small portions but tasty and expensive. They are trying to hard to turn over the tables slow down and get it right >

Terrible service

By Massimiliano B |

Visited by six people, the place was half empty but at the entrance they still made us wait for 10 minutes, it was not clear why, the table where they made us sit was already free The service is non-existent even if you pay 18% of the food consumed, a very long wait

Great Place for Fun Drinks

By Ashley M |

Absolutely loved this place. We went twice for drinks and had a great time both nights. We had a bottle of champagne at the bar the first time which the bartender was nice enough to tend for us while we went upstairs and explored. Upstairs is very taj mahal chic and the music was great. There was a smaller brighter room with very cool artwork then the outside area. A great place to people watch as celebs come in and out.

Delicious Meal at Swan Miami

By mrs_un0 |

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Swan Miami with my family. The service was amazing and the food did not disappoint either. The caviar pasta was to die for.

Poor service and hospitality in Miami

By Tulio Capriles |

Avoid going to a restaurant which is run a soho type club. Rude staff, rude with customers. We had reservation at 10 for dinner. The ask us to walk around or stand at the front door while the time comes. We were with a party of business people no respect. David Grootman and Farrel is going to go broke in this place with this kind of bad hospitality and staff. The front guy claim to be the operations manager. Poor service to get in eith him I do not know he could not work out side miami. I came before to eat it was food from a poor cruise line ok. Never came back. But today my people wanted to come a monday night.

A special kinda wonderful.

By FernieFranco |

Service was excellent. From the moment we entered to the minute we left. Food was served timley and prepared perfectly. Ambiance was great. Decor amazing and vibe perfection. Go and enjoy yourself at Swan. It’s unique and well worth it.

PLACE TO BE FOR LUNCH!!!

By David P |

Friend picked me up and we drove down for lunch and if did not disappoint!! Make sure to sit outside as the people watching is great! Service was right on point and the food was amazing!!

Table Turnover

By Indianprincess |

This restaurant has a beautiful outdoor garden and patio however this does not compensate for the atrocious service. The first course was served and some of the group were still enjoying when the main course arrived. The service staff started to clear the plates when a few were still eating the appetisers! They did not offer to take the mains back to kitchen to wait for the entire group to finish. Also the service staff cleared the plates whilst others were still eating. Also they attempted to take the mains away when we were not finished. I had to inform the service staff that I was still eating! In a restaurant where the staff is trained properly they do not clear nor take food away until all diners have finished. I would never come back to this restaurant for this reason. The food was good but the poor service outweighed the quality of the dinner. The attitude of the staff is you should feel privileged that we actually allowed you to dine in our restaurant!

Ehh

By PKJ |

Overall: would not go here again for dinner. The food was okay-decent overall which I expected based off reviews so we definitely went for the scenery and experience. Beautiful scenery for sure. Good service. I want to try their brunch Starters: ordered lobster and shrimp sliders. Those were good. They weren’t outstanding and definitely wouldn’t pay that much for those again. But they were good Meal: I ordered the fried snapper. It was good. Wouldn’t go there for it again though and I’ve had better snapper than that making it at home. Can’t mess up shrimp but it wasn’t that good. Meal: my girlfriend ordered the salmon. She hated it. I tried it. I hated it. Simple. Drinks: we got strawberry lemonade. That was amazing. 100/10 Dessert: pavlova was good. Verdict: if you like cute places you should go but if you are going for food only I’m writing this as we’re on our way to Wendy’s if that says anything.

Good option at Design District

By JLSS2014 |

This is a very nice place, conveniently located at the Design District. You can go in for a bite while you are shopping or just walking around. Service is pretty good and servers know the menu very well, I think they give an honest opinion of what is good on the menu so you make the right choice even if it is your first visit to Swan. Food is very good and some dishes have modern presentations. I would recommend trying a signature cocktail to make it a full experience.

Great Customer service

By Jesús C |

As usual our best restaurant in the design district of Miami we found good food and great drinks. Thank you for keeping the great job!! Cheers 🥂

Tiny portions & rushed service.

By Essextravellots |

Went for a family meal, there is no denying the food is delicious in beautiful surroundings and a buzzy atmosphere! However our service was really rushed perhaps as we had younger children 7&9 but every course was immediately served after finishing the last one and my husband was still hungry after 3 tiny courses.

Swan Dinner

By Claus Blohm |

Dear ladies and gentlemen, first of we would like to highlight one person which was our server on September 9th 2021. His name is Jhorvig and he was excellent. He took the best care about us and our guests. He was patient, mindful, knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best services we have ever received in a Miami restaurant. The food quality and price level was totally fine so we can only reccomend to experience Swan. Great location with a beautiful outside seating area. We will be back for sure. GREAT experience. Sincerely Claus Blohm

One of the best places in Miami!

By WBCThree |

One of the best places I have been to in Miami! Great menu, great vibe, and terrific atmosphere. Excellent service as well. If you go, have the Corn, corn, corn! One of a kind unique treat.

BEWARE OF POOR MANAGEMENT WITH SERGIO!

By Jeremy B |

Swan Review I eat all over Miami, and at the best restaurants all over the world for that matter. To say my experience at Swan was a disappointment would be an understatement. I would never return to this restaurant and don’t recommend anybody visit as there are so many other options in which to choose from. Last night was supposed to be one of those special occasion date nights at Swan. I had made the reservation for a table and we even arrived early to have a drink at the bar before we sat for dinner. We were immediately warned of a time limitation on our table for dinner as we sat down. I understand this, but there is a proper way in which to enforce this. This leads to the huge management issue, particularly led by Sergio, who did an extremely poor job in handling the situation last night. I had already heard that the service is subpar here and now I know why. As we worked our way through dinner, we ordered some of the most expensive dishes, with multiple appetizers and entrées, with an expectation of going into dessert and an additional bottle of wine. Therefore, we were spending more than most, I would say. Towards the end of our meal, Sergio approached the table with no salutation, but only a rude remark to say that we were not getting our second bottle of wine, and we needed to wrap up our dinner and release the table. As we looked around 75% of the restaurant was still empty. We questioned why we would need to leave when others had obviously not arrived for a subsequent seating. We also got online and found that immediate reservations for tables were still readily available. Sergio simply responded that was the rules and delivered our check to be paid. As you can imagine, this ruined our special occasion. To have someone like Sergio in an important position and showing such poor leadership in how it was handled, would lead my recommendation that his employment be terminated or certainly these actions documented. This manager should be sent for better training of how to handle customers as we now all risk the extremely unpleasant experience Sergio may create for any of us.

The BEST brunch

Great Staff, great food, great service and great ambiance. Food was so good, kid friendly a perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon and people watch.

Horrible Do Not Go Here!

By marcellasmith87 |

Had a reservation and was never seated and zero communication from the 5 hostess. The manager was unapologetic and just said nothing. By far the worst experience I have had a restaurant. Do not waste your time and money! So many better options in Miami!!

Go for the experience

By JanineHBim |

A beautiful and buzzing restaurant! Great coffee and cocktails and a wonderful vibe. Went for brunch and would say the food is decent but nothing memorable or overly tasty (this is also what I expected based on other reviews I read) . Would return for drinks or if i was looking for something fun to do with friends and take some pictures.

Beyond amazing!

By Cathryn |

I can't speak highly enough about this venue. We went with family and friends to celebrate and we were treated like royalty. We even sat in the decorative indoor and lavish tent. The drinks were amazing, and they even had complimentary cocktails since they were testing a new drink. They also had complimentary appetizers which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back at this beautiful, lavish and charming hotspot whenever I come to visit Miami.

NOT worth it!!!

By mras1990 |

I was expecting amazing food but NO.. the location and service are great but food is not worth the price that they charge.

Such rude service

By Paula C |

Came in for dinner yesterday. It was so cold inside. Experience ruined by the rudeness of our server David. Always seemed to be bothered by our questions. And seemed to rush us. He was always rolling his eyes and talked down to us with a snarky attitude. Food was pretty good. Hopefully they have better service training.

THE WORST

By LondonHH72 |

Had a 9pm reservation. Seated at 10. Did not receive our first course until 10:45. We were a party of 8pp and we were offered an endive salad...ONE endive salad for 8pp as an apology. No words. Seriously none. In fairness, our food was good when it eventually came. Shockingly, we were not all dead and buried by the time it arrived. Best thing here is the music. Such a disappointment. Truly.

Amazing Brunch

By Jesús C |

We are really hopping we can come back to our favorite Brunch Restaurant Swan Design District Miami!! We miss you Fabio 🥂🍾

Beautiful Restaurant...Tasty food

By JCHaywood |

Really nice restaurant. Beautiful decor. We had a large party and our server Cash was attentive and friendly. We sat outside and they played good music while we ate. Everything we had was good. We ordered the chicken, skirt steak, lobster and shrimp sliders, octopus, margarita pizza, corn corn corn, lobster cavatelli, Cesar salad and snapper. Everything was good! Nice portion servings so we were able to share. Definitely recommended.

Excellent mood

By Lf25 |

Went brunching with my friend who is getting married. The music was great. Jaime was out waitor on gave us great service. Helped us chose the best food and also made us laugh. Awesome time!

Dinner

By ritz a |

It was terrible experience, first of all they made us wait for more than 1 h to give us the table even though we had reservation. Once they gave us the table we waited almost 45 min to get the first plate, by the way it was cold and disgusting. Then we waited for another 30min for the second course and for one of our

Beautiful space

By nycnyuguy |

The first impression most of us encounter at a restaurant are the hosts and at Swan the tone was set with the friendly hosts who greeted us. Then we noticed how beautiful the restaurant is and I think it will remind people who have visited or stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel of some of its restaurants and public spaces. Our helpful waitress offered her suggestions on what to order. Its a good menu and there were a lot of choices but we took our waitress' suggestions and liked what we ordered - not loved them but that's okay because the restaurant is new and perhaps they are working out some of the kitchen kinks. Some of the food can use some improvement and the food was slow in coming out.... real slow... with no explanation slow. The prices are in line with other design district restaurants so no surprise there. Swan is great looking but its not all style and no substance, however it can use some improvements in food and execution.

Great dinner (pre covid)

By www.DinedThereSippedThat.com |

Made reservations for dinner here on a Friday night with four friends. Got seated promptly in the courtyard and the service was a very friendly and patient the whole night through. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to order but our waitress was very helpful and knowledgable about drinks as well. The menu is a bit all over the place, some Asian inspired dishes, some pizza, quite eclectic so there was some thing for everyone and we all shared several small dishes. Ambiance is great, really enjoyed our evening. This was all pre-Covid.

Be aware

By irisha72k |

Well, we made our reservation weeks before the dinner day. On the actual day I received a text message asking me to confirm wich I did. Our time was 7 30pm. Few hours later I received another text saying that we only allowed to be there for 1.5h and if we want to stay longer we have to spend $1000 inside or $2000 outside on the drinks only. Its sounds like an extortion to me, plus whyvwe haven't been told about this " wonderful " rules when we made reservations??? Guess what, when I called to ask this questions they simply put me o hold and forgot about me.

Nice place

By Jani |

Went there last weekend for dinner. Im always amazed by the hospitality of all groot’s places. We got a table inside which i always prefer in miami. Ambience was truly great. Nice decor. Classy clientele. Food was very good, but we did had some trouble getting it on time, probably the kitchen was busy. Big thanks to Adam the manager who resolved that issue for us. I highly recommend the skirt steak. We will be back

MARCO IS THE BEST

By Adriana M |

Marco is amazing!! He has the best personality !! He goes above and beyond !!! He is so fast!!! He literally had my order out faster then ever !!!! He’s truly a gem here And worked the whole bar and had a smile on his face

Great food great service

By Mikael R |

Had a late dinner and received excellent service and food and beverage recommendation from Ty who aöso helped us to get into the posh Bar Bevy right next door. Ambience great with good music and good mix of people.

Terrible service. Wish we never went.

By @TheRealiCheek |

Terrible service. The hostess first rejected us because they were at “full capacity” even though there were 10+ tables empty. Then a second host ran after us to seat us (must have come to his senses). Once seated, we were neglected by all staff as they pampered other tables (who presumably were “better” customers) food was extremely expensive and did not taste very good. Only thing that was tasty was the Salmon. 9.5/10. I really wish the second host didn’t run after us....

Nice outdoor experience

By DeDe |

Swan has a very nice outdoor dining experience. However, we were rushed as soon as we sat down to place our order. There was not a line and seats were available. The food was okay as well as the cocktails. Expected a little better quality because this is located in the Miami Design District.

A TRUE FANTASTIC DINING EXPERIENCE

Swanky restaurant in the heart of midtown. Good food. A bit pricey for the portion size but still a nice place to meet for dinner. The lychee mojito is delicious.

Birthday celebration dinner.

By Aubynwr |

We took my daughter to Swam for her 18th birthday. We were a large party of 9 and suggested to seat us in a very crammed spot. However, with a little discussion it was resolved. I have to say I thought the evening was going to go south but grunted out fine. Service was a little slow but I’m their defense the place got crowded very quickly. Food was good an md for a group on nine the price wasn’t too bad. All in all a good restaurant to visit and dine.

Drinks

By Repulsivepapaya |

My boyfriend and I love this place for drinks. Super tasty and great atmosphere. It’s expensive but worth it if you want a great vibe for drinks and an appetizer

Are you up for badly cooked

By nettoneves |

Are you up for badly cooked meals that take forever to arrive or awfully sauced pasta? Hop on by, otherwise, run away from this place.

Found by accident but happy I stayed!

By rojeanne b |

While looking for another spot I found this place. Me and my friend decided to stay for brunch. The drink recommendations were perfect. Waitress was friendly and helpful. All you need to know is Coconut Pancakes. You only get one but you will feel like eating three! Soooooo delicious! I will definitely go back for more.

Lets Just Say I Didn't Swoon Over This Swan

By tkdb1984 |

Myself and 4 of my girlfriends dined at Swan a few weeks ago and were left dumb founded. The $17 drink I ordered (Purple Reign), tasted like straight sour mix (no sour mix is listed in the ingredients for this drink). I sent it back, we were not off to a great start. My girlfriend then asked if they offered bread for the table, the person she asked didn't answer but showed up later with 3 slices (there were 5 of us), of plain toast, no butter, no oil, no nothing, just plain, dry toast, which we were then charged for. Again, not great. And then, each of our meals showed up and to our disappointment were sub par at best. My girlfriend's margarita pizza tasted like salt. Another girlfriend ordered the Caesar salad, it was laughable, half a stalk of plain romaine lettuce with the dressing on the side....what the hell kind of caesar salad is that??!! And for $17. My dish was actually good (the short rib fusilli), but the portion was so small I could have eaten two servings. The whole experience was ridiculous. Nothing was memorable in a good way, other than the decor/ambiance. Step it up Swan....seriously.

Great Service and Amazing food.

By MVPGA |

We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was really good and the service even better. It was a little hot outside , they need better fans , but overall the ambiance was nice .

Nice place

Burger was delicious and so was the crab eggs Benedict !

Waste of money and time

By Dorian |

My reservations were for 7 pm. We arrived early and immediately seated. However, eight (8) waiters in groups of two (2) talked among each other. The restaurant was nearly empty. After fifteen (15) minutes, a waiter approached our table. The waiter asked how we were doing, and my friend advised better that you are here. He reported that we were waiting for fifteen (15) minutes and no one acknowledging us. The manager came over to acknowledge us. He offered a caesar salad, which was a head of lettuce cut in front of us and dressing, as well as a dish of burnt artichoke as an apology. The main meal of onion burger and fries was awful. The worst burger ever and the fries over salted. Such a disappointment. Grossly overpriced and Holy Unimpressive. Save your money

Swan - EXCELLENT dinning in Miami Design District

By byMT305 |

Part of Groot (David Grutman) Hospitality, SWAN is an excellent Miami Design District restaurant. We had not been here for more than 1 year (since the pandemic), and the ambience, service, and menu changes are all excellent. The lovely and spacious outdoor (partially covered) patio seating is very nice. Service is friendly, and highly professional. The food and drink is outstanding. We enjoyed the following items: Margarita - very good Manhattan - Swan's Woodford bourbon, icy chilled version is a classic! Crab-Avocado salad w/ lime vinaigrette - light, fresh, and delicious! Lobster cavatelli - lobster and spicy black cavatelli is covered in a tomato and garlic bread crumb sauce/seasoning - tasty and spicy! Grilled Tiger Prawns covered w/ a chimichurri-like salsa verde - perfectly cooked, and VERY flavorful !! Butternut squash ravioli - for those w/ a butternut squash sweet tooth - delicious! Pavlova dessert - cheesecake sorbet served over baked meringue, along w/ berries and strawberry sauce - a light, DELICIOUS summer dessert!! This visit did not allow for sampling the individual housemade pizzas (yum!), or the menu fishes, etc., though everything that we tried was delicious! Bottom Line: Groot knows how to run a restaurant, from the beautiful ambiance, to the very fine bar, table service, and delicious menu items. If you haven't been, you owe yourself the treat. We'll certainly be back!!

Sd comes to Miami

Lively, loud, and lots of people. Could barely hear our soft/- spoken waiter. Food was excellent. I had mahi mahi. It was melt-in-your-mouth good! Vert elegant but not very romantic or peaceful. Lovely decor and bathrooms are clean. Make reservations early!

Restaurant + trendy nightclub, expensive, terrible service, waiting for a reserved table for over an hour!

By Victoria Weitzel |

We reserve a table for 10:30 pm We arrived at the place, which was crowded, with several people waiting outside, and the attendants told us that we would have to wait until any table that was occupied left and that they would send a message to let us know. Meanwhile, we tried to order drinks several times and were simply ignored by the waiters who are terrible at serving. Finally, we managed to buy a glass of wine at the counter after a lot of “begging to be served”. When we received the message to go sit down, and went to order some wine, the waiter informed us that the restaurant would close in 20 minutes and that there would be no time to order food or drink a bottle. As the place has the nightclub above, I asked if we could take the bottle there and finish drinking in the club. Which was also denied to us. Summary: we waited so long and didn't drink or eat anything. Especially because the restaurant was already closing and they were in a hurry to send you away. We decided to go up to the club to see if it was at least worth going there, and for me it was even worse. The club only had the option of some distilled drinks and beer. Detail: expensive and hot drinks! The place was packed and you had to beg to get a beer from the bar attendant. I hated it!

Average

By Jose Eduardo Btesh |

Average food. Small plates were oily. Main dishes and service good. Not sure we will be back in the near future

Pleasantly surprised

By J-in-Europe |

We were a little uncertain upon arriving as the place was empty at 7 PM. We all looked at the menu and found lovely choices. By the time our appetizers were served the restaurant was packed with folks waiting to be seated. The food was very good and the service exceptional. The staff attentive.

Fabulous restaurant

By Kimberly Lopez |

I celebrated my birthday here and had such a Fabulous experience. The bartenders made me a classy and fancy drink called "Flower". Cheers!! To start we had the "Little Gem Salad" and "Swan Cesar" which had a beautiful table side service! I also enjoyed the Scallops and Ricotta Gnudi with preserved truffle and sprinkled parmesan. The atmosphere inside and outside has a fantastic ambiance. Can’t wait to try their brunch next!

Very overrated

By Adam R |

Another overrated Grutman restaurant with surly service. Beautiful setting with beautiful, wealthy people (never saw more Pateks and APs in my life) but the bottom line is the food and service is LOUSY. Been there 3 times and we’re never going back. Last time, the 12 of us were all served at different times and one person who ordered chicken paillard was served RAW chicken. Management didn’t really care which made matters worse.

Beautiful Restaurant with Poor Service

By TomSjoberg |

I do not know how long this restaurant will last in the Miami Design District. It has a great location and they did great job creating a beautiful restaurant interior and terrace design. The service experience was simply horrible and disorganized. Also, I had one of the worst Paplova Desserts in my life. I might give them second chance if they stay around.

“Diner” quality food from an overpriced menu.

By Henry |

Subpar service and food is even worse. Went for brunch, omelette was terrible, looked like a child of 7 prepared it, decided to order a burger, even more disappointing. Food presentation is terrible and portions are small, not great for a restaurant that claims they prepare gourmet meals. Venue is pleasant, especially the outside area, but meals are overpriced with food that you can get from a diner. Service was terrible, but this seems to be the norm in the US. I’m not a fussy eater and I don’t normally complain about food. I hope that management can improve this place (which has lots of potential) on all levels.

KAYON DANIELLE you improperly charged for the new year's dinner. the dinner was duly canceled as evidenced by the email below. I ask that you take immediate action to return the amount. your non-response demonstrates how dishonest you are. I expect the amount to be refunded immediately! RZ

The Scene is better than the Food

By Lisaj730 |

Unsure if this place is always wild and fun and filled with VERY young people. Or if it was the holiday (New Years) week. But we were the oldest (I'm only 38 lol) table in the place. It was fun, and after dinner hours the updaters turns into a wild table service party. We didn't go there, due to covid but if thats something you are into - check it out. You will have a blast, the music was great we could hear it downstairs in the restaurant. We had gone for dinner, and yes the food is good but WAY to salty for my taste. The kitchen/chef should ease up with the salt. But then again, if this is a place for young-ings they only want to party and could careless about the food lol

Place to be seen.

By Jill T |

Lovely environment. Went for Sunday brunch during Miami Spice when it was fairly empty. Food was ok, service was pitiful. My husband was finished with his meal before mine finally arrived, thanks to the manager. They gave me a second cappuccino and an extra dessert. I hope it's gotten better since September.

Metal piece found in the ravioli, a big in the drink, and smell of mildew in the courtyard

By Scott C |

Metal piece found in the ravioli, a big in the drink, and smell of mildew in the courtyard make it hard to give a good review. Classy neighborhood, surely expensive rent, but this was unacceptable. The other dishes were fine. Nothing exceptional for presentation.

Staff Dinner

By Moira M |

I held a staff dinner here and it was wonderful! Just wanted to shoutout to Julianna (events) + Danny (bar) and everyone else who was consistently giving our table all the attention we needed. Miami Spice menu was amazing, thank you for being so accommodating :)

Perfect for Happy Hour

By Ery S |

Food was on point and there is great music. We went on a Friday evening and it was a great crowd. Our waiter was excellent and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely make reservations. But definitely also try this place.

Beautiful

By mabelh |

Absolutely loved this restaurant! My boyfriend and I came Tuesday evening. The service, food, drinks were amazing. I’ve never really been one for fine dining but this place totally changed my mind! Every dish was delightful in taste and presentation. We had the kale and artichoke tempura with ponzu & caesar salad to start. Oh my goodness - amazing!!!! For main we had the roast chicken with curry-carrot purée & the dry aged strip steak. Both were beautiful. We had the Tres chocolate for desert, again amazing. The cocktails were spectacular. The Swan mule was up there with the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Coconut & passion fruit what a combination. I couldn’t fault this restaurant! I can’t imagine what it is like in season, especially the outdoor terrace which looked beautiful even in the pouring rain! Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return.

SO Disappointed!

By Olivia C |

Thanksgiving Day! Terrible Service ! Waiter without any training and kept making terrible mistakes from the initial cocktail order to the end if the meal! Food took forever and a few sides never made it to our table - although they gave us extra servings of the turkey and dressing. Never received the desserts on the Thanksgiving menu! They took a few drinks and dessert off the bill, not worth the hefty bill! Have been there several time but no plans to return!

The letter is exquisite

Incredible quality. Dishes with a lot of flavor and identity. The place is very cool and is in a super nice area. Excellent attention. We loved it.

Rude and Overrated

By Davide M |

Had a reservation at 3:00 PM with my wife, got there at 2:30 PM, at least 10 tables available outside. We checked-in asking if it was possible to have a table a bit earlier than the time we reserved, we were un politely reminded that our reservation was at 3:00 but we were told that the wait time wasn’t long. Ended up having two drinks (one glass of cheap Italian wine and a decently overpriced Moscow Mule) at the bar for $40. We were asked to sit outside (95 F) at 3:30 PM at which point we decided to leave and go somewhere else. If you are in the area I recommend eating at Michael’s Food and Drink, great food and service!

Beautiful Bar! Less than On Par Food

By JayKNM |

The scene is decadent. The vibe is a good one. The bar itself is pretty to look at. The menu at first glance peaked my interest, but while dining with 4 people, we each ordered something different and not a single one of us liked any of our choices. The food was such a let down for such a cool new spot. This is where I chose for my Birthday Dinner. I may have only ate 1 scallop, but at least we got some cute photos??

Really cute restaurant

By TheFunFoodie |

Really cute restaurant done in pastels with tons of outdoor seating. The menu has lots of fun unique tastings. We really loved the food! And for dessert they have an ice cream (make it yourself with a sparkler in the middle. It’s really cool. The presentation of the drinks is pretty. They do play a little loose with reservation times .... 30 mins standing waiting ... but it’s worth it. I’d go back for sure.

Good food, great service, lovely ambiance

By Lisa B |

Had dinner here with a large business group and everyone enjoyed the experience. We sat outside - which was gorgeous. As a vegetarian, I’m often stuck eating the vegetables that serve as sides for the mains, and although this was somewhat the case, our server was very solicitous and helpful in pointing out items for me and then also putting them in front of me, as we were eating family-style. Food was very good.

Ugly Duck. Chose Swan to celebrate

By Jamie07093 |

Ugly Duck. Chose Swan to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was very clear on the reservation it was a birthday. I called in advance to inquire about balloons and a firework-like candle. I was told firmly no balloons or large candles - but they have a special birthday cake. Upon finishing dinner, they forgot about the birthday. I had to go to the host stand to remind them. They brought out a DIY cookie with one candle. 5 minutes later the table next to us was 4th of July with full sparklers. I was embarrassed I couldn’t provide my wife the birthday others were having. Also, had the salmon which was Red Lobster quality. And…. The chairs outside are cheap, wet, and uncomfortable. The manager and server were nice.

Horrible, unprofessional service

By Jenny J |

We went there on a Friday night. The hostess at Swan was nice. We went to the bar in the outside area being that the rooftop bar wasn't yet open. We got to the bar, the younger gentleman didn't acknowledge us until I called for his attention a few minutes later. He assumed the other bartender was taking care of us. It wouldn't have hurt to ask if we were being helped, etc. Another bartender at the bar, made herself a drink, not sure if it contained alcohol or not, point is she stood at the bar drinking the drink rather than going to the back to drink her beverage. Let's move on to the rooftop line. We were told it opens at 11:30pm so we came back around 11:35pm or so. As we were walking walking up to the line, I seen them let some ppl in. When we got to the line, we were told to wait a few minutes so we stood to the side to see what was going to happen next. As we are standing there, a group of gentleman walked up, hostess approached them to take care of them, another group of people walked up and they were let in. Remind you the entire time, they are looking at us if we didn't exist. We walked away with a disgusting feeling. I've been in the hospitality industry for 20 years and never seen such a thing. I've heard about clubs profiling people but this was to another level. I will never return or recommend anyone to an establishment that treats people spending their money like crap. NEVER AGAIN!

Good vibe and food

By JM27S |

Went for dinner on august while in Miami. The restaurant hs a good vibe, nice decoration and good food. We were 4, two of us ordered 2 menus (entrée-plat-desert) and 2 two plates. We shared the entrées, the mushroom pizza was amazing. The pasta plate was good too. Deserts were good. At the end we ordered a cappucino resquesting a swan art (what they are know to do for instagram) but it came as a normal one, no swan. The girl explained that she didn’t know how to do it. We will definitely be coming back soon for brunch. The vibe for a brunch with the outside patio should be cool

Nothing like Smokers to Ruin it for You

By MiamiEpicurist |

This was my second time at Swam. The first time was indoors. Had such a great time just had to return. Had the Miami Spice, which was accurate to what was on the website. It was Ok. Good size portions though. The service was very good. Leo was attentive in every way. So why the poor rating? It boils down to the entire experience. I am exhausted from restaurants in Miami coming up with the excuse of having a “European Vibe” by allowing smokers in the vicinity of diners. I have been to over 10 European counties and suffices to say despite data on smoking it is still endemic today. Some may argue that having a cigarette while dining enhances the experience. That said, I’m not in Europe. I’m in the US where smokers are a minority. Highly unacceptable even if dining outside within the restaurants property, not on the sidewalk to have to enjoy someone else’s second hand smoke along with my meal. It just pollutes the air for others in the majority. While the law states people can smoke outside, restaurants can make the choice of being smoke free, especially if that outside area is primarily for dining and not on the sidewalk. Since that choice is not one Swan wants to make, I’ll make my own choice and not return.

Over rated

By Inspiration222011 |

Food was ok. We went for lunch. Charged a service charge. The hostesses we’re mostly with attitude. The load music horrible. Who could talk? Best part was a nice server. Go somewhere else for an occasion or Saturday brunch.

The atmosphere is very nice. The experience was memorable. The food was delicious. We enjoyed everything, but this is way out of our norm.

Sad Super fast decline

By Jillian O |

just now-Edit Sadly, after enjoying this restaurant basically since it opened, I have to say it was an awful experience from beginning to end. What was an elegant, upscale, fine dining establishment an atmosphere and ambiance emblematic of the design district and Miami, Swan and Bar Bevy has sadly descended into a poorly run low end Las Vegas bordello...... The service was awful, the help all rude, the low grade inconsistent fare, the cleanliness and quality completely disintegrated, it usually takes a restaurant years to fall this fast but in this case it was mere months.

Nice Bar

By Rebecca L |

We came early and sat outside at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and the cocktail menu offered many interesting choices. We chose the Swan cocktail and a glass of wine. It was a great spot for people-watching since it was located in the Miami Design District.

Hottest restaurant in The Design District so far

By Stacey S |

Swan is a fabulous restaurant. The food is great! ALL the apps are excellent especially their infamous Cesar salad. Mains and desert also rock. The Dover sole is great and the Nutella soufle’ Is a must. I like sitting out in the garden for lunch or Dinner. Their are many rooms and a great lounge upstairs both inside and out. Swan is a must go to you will have fun. P.S. You never know which Stars you will spot at Swan. Make a rez!

Uneven food and rude service

By ctj94 |

We went for brunch and it was overall a disappointment. Yes the restaurant is attractive, but the food was wildly uneven (goat cheese omelette was gross, cinnamon bun was delicious) and the service was very pretentious. The waiter became and stayed rude once he saw we were not dressed fancy and did not order bottled water. We felt very uncomfortable throughout the meal.

Too bad for the price.

By Nataly Smith |

Terrible service - ignoring from the start to the finish. Even though there were free tables hostess told us to wait for 5 mins. And they were just chatting to each other, while we were staying outside. Seriously not tasty food: cold steak inside; overcooked pasta; pizza was like from the store (plus we ordered another pizza). High prices. Bad.

The place was so cute. The guava french toast was soooo good. Our server Natasha was great also. Cant wait to eat here again

So-So Swan

By elizabeth b |

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of Design District, the decor and tea lights are exceptional. However, the service was beyond poor. The waiter was sarcastic and lethargic. The food was good. Ordered the Caesar salad, the sea bass tiradito, truffle fries were lacking, however the strawberry pavlova was the BOMB. It made up for the mediocreness.

Great restaurant

By Ilioskaifangari |

We really enjoyed the restaurant, from the atmosphere, music, servers and of course the food! Adriana was the best!! We had the grilled octopus which was very tender and seasoned perfectly! The little gem salad was also very good! For dinner, the halibut was cooked to perfection and the duck breast was very good. No meal is complete without dessert! Highly recommend the soufflé Nutella and the chocolate mousse! We will definitely be back!

Swanky little spot

By Michelle |

Cool little spot to grab lunch while shopping in the Design District. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and came out quickly. Would definitely go back

Can’t miss

By Paul |

Stuffed pasta was superb.filet mignone was was perfect. Flourless chocolate was the best I ever had. Very nic lounge upstairs

Disappointed again

By Kosminski-Jack |

I really want to love this place but they make it so hard. It's a great scene but lacks the substance. This was our third time back and it always comes down to frustrating and disappointing service. The vibe and location are excellent, however, the lack of passion from the wait staff and timeliness from the kitchen are noteworthy. May come back for drinks. Unlikely to return for a meal. Better options available.

Amazing Drinks, Food, Service and Atmosphere!!

By Lesliepec40 |

The atmosphere is gorgeous! The staff welcomed us - we sat at the inside bar and ordered a drink from such a friendly bar tender! He made the most delicious tasting cocktails and they were so pretty too! We ordered the strawberry salad and the brussel sprouts for an app to share - everything was so fresh and so good! The restaurant was so gorgeous even the light bulbs were beautiful! You must go there for at least a drink!! I heard they have an amazing Sunday Brunch! Ill be back!!!

Amazing from start to finish!

By Melanie M |

Excellent! From the entrance to the exit the service was stellar! Thank you Andres for recommending the perfect dishes to to with the right wine and bubbly. This was my first time and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Esteban, the birthday dessert was delicious and perfect. I’m usually not a sweets fan but this dish was amazing and perfect for sharing. Jude and Fabio, you guys were exceptional. Thanks to your entire team for a great experience. My palate is pleased. I’ll see you all again very soon. Love and blessings, Melanie

Only if you want to take a pic or some non sense

By johnb b |

Food is trash , don’t have expectations of food quality. In the luxury category , it’s the worst across the board. Any other pick has better food. If you go, take your pics and post on ig and don’t expect much else . Garbage restaurant

Trendy Miami - DESIGN DISTRICT

By MiamiTravelingDuo |

We went for a relatively early dinner ay 7pm The Swan is a huge restaurant with large outdoor dining area and did not seem too busy at that time. By 9pm this place was hopping. Our waiter was great and offered suggestions on dishes and how much to order. Pretty decor and atmosphere.

By Sara K |

please be advised: : swan restaurant in the design district , waiters are nit wearing mask and dont believe in vaccination, THey told me so. We left the restaurant because if you are not vaccinates at least wear a mask and dont spread the delta virus to people that were taking car e of themsleves and had to spend a year and a half inside a house. BE KIND to your fellow human beings !!!! I am never going back to swan

The food here is outstanding!

By Tiffany L |

The food here is outstanding! I highly recommend the ricotta gnudi. It may be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The restaurant itself so beautiful and romantic. I wish I took photos. We sat outside and it was perfect. The service was on point! It might seem a little expensive for some, but compared to New York, the prices are comparable. Can’t wait to try again the next time I’m in Miami!

Good, not great!

By AlexanderDFraser |

This is the tale of two experiences. My wife loved the scene, the fancy drinks, and the small French-inspired dishes. I, on the other hand, would not return...ever. Don't like sugary overpriced drinks, no "real" beer, and left unsatisfied and no kids menu:( If you are like us, and enjoy dining with your kids, make sure they will each French food!!!

Dishonest. Nice setting. decent food.

By JFYUL |

Don’t bother . What stands out ? another restaurant that includes service at 18% and then tricks you into leaving a tip. Food was a 7/10 overall. Mushroom pizza excellent, Gem salad too sweet, polenta is interesting unique dish to try once. Drinks were good, nice Sancerre white wine and cocktails well done. Service was very attentive. Most impressive part. Only 1 cooked fish offering , Dover sole at $68. Otherwise it’s Sashimi. Not reasonable in today’s world. Won’t be back, many others score higher.

Music too loud

By Tarek K |

Music too loud inside for dinner at 7.30pm. We couldn't have a conversation at all. I do t mind having lound music at all but later when it's time to party but not at 7.30. You should ease in.

Disappointing in every way

By babs441 |

We had reservations for 9pm and were only seated at 10pm. Once seated waiter told us we had to clear the table by 11. Drinks got mixed up, Appetizers were brought out twice, and entree took over an hour to show up and when it did it was missing a side. That side only showed up once the entree was finished. Food was nothing special. The Scallops were cold and the avocado crab was average. Terrible food and service.

Beautiful garden!!

By Gerri S |

The presentation of the Ceasar Salad is beautiful but needs more dressing & with anchovies on the side. The King Salmon was superb, the farro was cold prefer a little warm. Brussels sprouts was excellent. The ribeye is perfect. Beautiful garden to dine maybe adding a candle to the table under the stars would have been fabulous. Expensive wine lists $52 and above.

Chic , cozy , happening

By Sarmo |

Chic and happening restaurant in fashion district with a great outdoor seating and dining area, despite of mixed reviews we took the plunge and go for dinner as they start serving dinner at 6, we had a great service , good food presentation and tasty. Save room for desert

A new favorite!

By Brad A |

Met some friends here for lunch and it was outstanding. Stunning decor, great vibe, excellent menu options, and the service was perfection. While I think of it as a shopping destination, I would go out of my way to celebrate a milestone event or simply enjoy some time with friends and family.

Great option for a bachelorette celebration!

By boseguera |

This is a beautiful restaurant for special occasions with indoor and outdoor dining. The food and drinks are great, especially the drinks because they are very creative! I definitely recommend this place when visiting Miami!

COVID - They don't respect social distance!

By María Laura H |

I made a reservation for 6 people (máximum allowed now in COVID time because they don’t allow more in Open Table or on the website), with 2 weeks in advance asking for a table at the patio. They didn’t give it to us and they put us in a tiny room and next to us, they then put a party for 25 people once we had already started eating. Manager Marco answered that he knew that this couldn’t be done because of the social distancing but he didn’t care! Good service, good food, terrible decisions from a very careless manager! Also de reservation team didn’t respond very respectfully!

Cool place

By Alfredo8074 |

This is a cool place in Miami where you go to see and be seen and where the food is excellent. Cocktails are good but at $19 for Grey Goose vodka, is just a bit too much. The food is best to order as tapas for everybody to enjoy, such as the tuna carpaccio, the burrata, the Swan ceasar salad, the corn plate and the gnudi. All very tasty and delicious.

Family brunch

By Coline R |

We went for brunch with my mom, sisters and 1 year old daughter. The place is incredibly pretty a d luxurious. The menu Is very appealing but we were a tad bit disappointed by the food. The Shrimp and gritz was really good. Cocktails are also really good, especially the Swan mule. Leo our waiter was really nice and gave us good information on the restaurant, its history, the chef and gave suggestions of his favorite dishes. Price/quality ratio is pretty good given the neighborhood and other brunch places in Miami.

We had an excellent lunch full of tastiness

By Giophs |

We tried: -The hamachi tartare who have been juicy and very well presented with ossetra sturgeon caviar, blini ,lemon creme fraiche and japanese yellowtail. The osstria caviar was particularly good and copious . -the seared scallops win out.The quality of the scallops was beyond my expectation .The grated coconut with the grill cauliflowers very trendy with hight standard quality. -The fresh egg oscetra caviar came about to shine on the table with full of flavor in my mouth. -The semi candied strawberry vanilla chantilly lime sorbet Pavlova with a fresh raspberry and pecan happen to be perfect. This Restaurant at the Miami District Design is outstanding.Keep up with the awesome work.

Much ado about nothing

By adriana b |

Well Miami is a place where usually we get so so regular food with extra over priced food... It was my bday we were 2 girls, reservation at 8.30... didn’t get a table until 10 ... we didn’t really complain we spent time drinking at the bar... Tuna Tartare meh... octopus meh... they offered a free dessert but I guess they forgot ... There were like 15 hostesses... but nothing seemed neither organized nor smooth... Very messy bad service... but Miami people is so pretentious they look other way ... they want to post in IG they had dinner in the LIV’s owner place

Very, very mediocre. There

By Yana B |

Very, very mediocre. There were three of us We shared three sides two main courses salad and pasta as an appetizer. All of which tasted like diner food. Fish for $44 a plate was fishy, duck was chewy needless to say we didn’t stay for dessert. Waiter asked how good the food tasted and I told Him the truth. He looked shocked. Don’t know why I’m sure we were not the only one that felt this way. Every dish was not to par. Last night we were dining at the Bazar by Jose Andres same three people the bill was 16$ less and the food was fantastic very disappointing experience to say the least. Forget $300 total waste of calories. That’s the worst

A deception

Totally on fashion! One of the best place to eat in Miami! Make a reservation and be on time or you'll loose your table! That's why they told us. Forget it, this place is high end for prices and average for food. Located in the nice Miami Design District, I wouldn't say we had a bad dinner, but the price paid for the quality of food is a bit insane. I consider that 95US$ + 20% service for some spaghetti with caviar, is kind of pretentious.

Disappointing - lunch

By Charlyncy12 |

Disappointing service and menu for lunch. When entering the restaurant patio, none of the two employees welcomed us. When entering the restaurant, no one neither welcomed me. Attire of the two waiters giving an impression of lack of “cleanliness”. Not sharp. Rude service: I was still working on my plate while the other guests had finished , the waiter not only removed their plates and let me alone eating in front of an empty table , but also started cleaning with a wet towel the table around me still eating . Gross and rude. Finally whist the food was ok , the menu is disappointing as it has nothing to do with the evening menu. The Bronzino was very good though The tempura kale and artichoke batter was plain with no taste and quite heavy.

Worst service in Miami

Not going back there!!! Service was horrible!! Barely saw waitress( (thank goodness for busboys). Sat for 30 minutes- no drinks. Finally salad arrived- still no drink. Had to ask Busboy to track down cocktails. After salad our appetizer arrived.. then our main course arrived immediately. Had to ask for more water and ketchup for fries 2 times. Never saw waitress after she took Our order until the bill arrived… with 18% gratuity added in even though we were a party of 4. Food was just ok. Lots of people taking selfies

Beautiful restaurant in the

Beautiful restaurant in the design district . Great picture spots. Beautiful and delicious drinks. Great people watching. Order the swan drink .

Beautiful interior design and nice location

I went twice recently to this restaurant, once for brunch and once for dinner. The food is delicious, but at least 20 to 30% too expensive for what is offered. The service is not in line with the price on the menu. There is somewhere a miss match between the relaxed lush ambiance vs the offer on the menu that would suggest a different service level, table arrangement, seating etc. There are so many other new restaurants in Miami that Swan will not get on our regular restaurant visit rotation....

Hot Spott

Visited the Swan in January and loved it! Beautiful ambiance in the outdoor patio, great lounge upstairs, delish food and service!

Waste of money

Bad service, rude waiter, way over priced. Nothing exciting on the menu. No table throw. Overrated. I do not recommend.

Absolutely fabulous

I'm sad that others didn't experience the fun and fantastic evening we did. This was part of a weekend celebration for our friend who is getting married next month. When we arrived at Swan our table wasn't ready but we were invited to go to the bar and have a cocktail. This was the only disappointing part of the evening. The male bartender who was by us took forever to even acknowledge our existence then made a Manhattan that did not taste correct. His female colleague then approached and we explained and she was very sincerely apologetic and indicated so also about our wait. The male bartender (surely overhearing that she was correcting his Manhattan) made no acknowledgment of this at all. We were shown to our table and it was cramped for 6 of us and a tight squeeze near the adjacent tables in any time but especially so in COVID times. I asked if we could be seated outside and the outside was empty as it did appear the rain may come. We were shown a great table over an overhang and the rest of the evening went off without a hitch. Tiny was our server and was especially helpful. We then decided to have a Drug vs Crystal taste off and the Somme (who's name I did not get) helped with the rest. Food also very good and I encourage people to give it a try. We had a great time!

Average Meal at Fast Food Speed

If you are in a hurry, this is the place for you. We sat at 8:30, and we were finished with dinner a little after 9. I guess they needed our table for a 9 pm reservation. We ordered 3 small plates to start. The first 2 came out in less than 5 minutes. The corn, corn, corn small plate was excellent. The crunchy popcorn on top of creamy corn was a great contrast in textures, and was very tasty. The tuna carpaccio was also very good, although they should warn you that it is quite spicy. While we were still eating these, our third small plate, a mushroom pizza appetizer, came out. This was also really good, with a taste reminiscent of mushroom soup. Unfortunately, about 1 minute after the pizza came out, our main dishes came out. You never really want to see a server stand behind your table holding what should be three hot dishes while they wait for you to try and gobble down your appetizers, but that’s what happened. The main dishes were disappointing and a big step down from the small plates. The Dover sole was doused in a salty sauce, the lobster was very plain and the ricotta gnudi was boring and mushy. If you go, stick with the small plates.

Good for lunch too, BUT they

By RenatodiCaprio |

Good for lunch too, BUT they do not keep to the Covid regulations of keeping 6 feet between tables. Not good. The food is good, atmosphere nice out in the garden, live DJ which is nice, but in these times they should show a bit more respect for the rules set by the city.

Longest wait ever and I had a reservation. Horrible & unprofessional!

By Twelcher2020 |

Had a 9 PM reservation for two people on a Monday night and was not seated until 11 PM due to no reason. When we arrived there were barely any people. By 9:30/10 PM it was busy and it seemed like they forgot about us. I kept asking the host when we would be seated and we were told to wait a few minutes so we stood to the side to see what was going to happen next. As we are standing there, a group of gentleman walked up, hostess approached them to take care of them, another group of people walked up and they were let in. Remind you the entire time, they are looking at us if we didn't exist. The drink at the outside bar was nice and the ambiance was beautiful but the wait for hours on top of making a reservation and having to secure it with a credit card seems a little extra. Swan, do better! Very disappointed.

Swan - hip, stylish restaurant with good (not outstanding) food

By byMT305 |

Located in the heart of Miami’s very fashionable Design District, SWAN has been successful for several years. The all-day menu is suitable for a more casual crowd (though on a recent Saturday night SugarDaddies, SugarBabies, bridesmaids parties & such were on full display). The decor is stylish pink The outdoor patio is lovely in good weather The interior dinning ambiance is loud! Service - drinks & dinner somewhat rushed! On this visit we sampled: Cocktails - Margarita (good), Manhattan (harsh) Bread course - good toasted thick slices Cesar salad - good Pumpkin Agnolotti - good (must like sweet!) Rigatoni Amatriciana - good (not great) Profiteroles w/ hot fudge & vanilla ice cream - good sharing portion for 2-3 people (ice cream was mediocre) All-in-all, SWAN is “happening” Design District restaurant with reliable good (but not great) food.

Sophisticated great space

By Ruth S |

Great night with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. Bar staff could have been more enthusiastic, however the waiting staff made up for it. The food was great and the ambience both inside and out was incredible. A special night indeed.

Upscale and very expensive

By cenkotay |

Although food was not very impressive, the atmosphere, and people are very interesting. Friday and Saturday nights are very crowded and make sure you have reservations. I had short rib ravioli, good food but not wow. Then we had Ricotta Kanafeh and Mango Lime Cream Puff which were very good. Service was not good, because it was very crowded that night.

Fabulous MIAMI Spice Menu

By R K |

Went to Swan because it’s a “ hip hop and happening place in the Miami Design District . Farrell has a piece of the action too ! I didn’t have any expectation beyond going for the experience but was very happy when the food was excellent as well as the service at 5 stars ! Very cool decor - reminds me of the Beverly Hills Hotel .. very cool 😎

Worth visiting

By Ryan C |

Swanky decor and and a great menu make this place worth a visit . We came here for brunch and and between a few of us sampled the majority of the menu . Surprisingly good value . Considering the standard of food and location this could easily be just as pricey as a lot of the other Miami hotspots . Will definitely return .

Nice atmosphere!

By Diana C |

Very pretty interior both inside the restaurant and out on the patio. The servers took good care of us providing great recommendations for food and drinks all of which were displayed beautifully! Very appetizing! The atmosphere was nice with a variety of music that everyone is able to enjoy.

NOT REALLY A GOOD OPTION

By PARISFRIEND |

The only place to have dinner is OUTSIDE because inside the decoration is ugly , oldy, very conventional and not fun at all. I could go there with anyone. Nothing fun and the food is very regular. I had pasta with caviar and the pasta was too cooked.....I dont recommend this "trendy" place because it s not what it is supposed to be

A huge ?

By Yuri K |

What is this place!? A club? A restaurant? All this folks packed up outside waiting for? Mediocre food, scarse service, oh but wait it’s Pharrel’s creation, so it’s ok to be overcharged. Just terrible, go support local and “real” restaurants instead!

Poor service

By wallygator7 |

Food was good, service was inattentive and almost nonexistent. We received better service from a server that wasn’t assigned to our party, than from our assigned server. Management never stopped by to check-up on us after addressing items that were missing from our order. The automatic gratuity should not be entitled by our server, but should be earned.

Our waiter Ciara was amazing!!

By Samantha Sacks |

Our waiter Ciara was amazing!! She really made our swan night unreal! From the minute we sat down she was the definition of customer service! I love Brussel sprout pizza and I had the best espresso martini of my life!!! They followed all the Covid stuff and wore mask! Felt sooo safe!!!
