I have been to this restaurant many times but on a recent outing, I noticed a decline in quality and taste. The pasta they serve as part of a prix fixe lunch is not up to the same good quality as the pasta served a la carts at lunch or dinner. Buyer Beware- if Nyc is giving two courses for $25 when if is normally just $23 for pasta- there’s a reason! Pasta was mushy and microwaved mess!

My husband and I stayed on the Upper West Side for five nights--and each morning we had breakfast here. At first we were hooked on the "cereali," granola with yogurt and fruit. It may sound odd to order something as common as granola--but this version was uncommonly wonderful. The accompanying fruit and yogurt were so generous that we weren't even hungry by lunchtime. Over our stay, we tried various dishes. The french toast--with housemade brioche (many of the pastries are made on the premises)--is luxurious. And will keep you going for the rest of the day. The place is obviously favored by locals, and we felt like locals by the end of our stay. I was impressed that our third morning there, the woman who served us the first day remembered that I wanted a cappuccino. Our only regret is that we did not have a chance to come back for dinner. Next time.

Probably best coffee that you can have in New York and specially when Lorenzo make in it . Wine list is not a huge book but big enough to try everyday something new for the next couple of month. And the cheese plate are very special

Perfect location to meet up with family or friends for a beer or glass of wine on a late after-work Friday afternoon at an outdoor table. Energetic yet unobtrusive service. Interesting mix of UWS generational chic.

The coffee here is very good, and my breakfast sandwich was also quite good. It's a small space, so I imagine it's crowded on the weekend. My server was very nice, but I wish she had written down my order, as it came out differently from what I asked for. I didn't say anything because I hate throwing out food (it was still very good). Still, if you're sightseeing in Central Park and need a snack, this would be a good place to come.

First, I have to say that the staff is absolutely fantastic. Courteous, observant, polite ...simply outstanding; particularly our waiter. He was the friendliest guy ever, with a smile that brightened up our day. Offered excellent suggestions and had an incredibly warm personality. My friend and I went for breakfast and we had the most delicious meals. Personally, it reminded me of the kind of breakfast I had in Italy. My friend had an omelette with spinach, mushroom and cheese and I had the most fabulous open face sandwich...two eggs sunny side up on top of pancetta on a 7 grain bread. It was mouthwatering! As for the cappuccinos, even with almond milk, they were the best we've had - hands down!! Can't wait to visit for dinner/wine this weekend!

Tarallucci e Vino is a charming wine bar and restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It is an intimate space with a nice ambiance and a good selection of Italian wines, pastas, salads and starters. The service is friendly and there is a nice neighborhood feeling. Excellent choice on the Upper West Side for a casual dinner, lunch, or drink. It is best for couples, solo diners, or parties of four as the restaurant space is not very big.

This is an excellent taste of European cafe culture on the UWS, just a block from the park. I come here all the time, and its an incredibly popular place for locals!

This is my local corner joint, it's just perfect for a wine bar. They have amazing snakeroot's in the morning too. It's a perfect spot to wile away a warm day, sitting outside and watching the upper westside crowd wander by. It feels like a slice of Italy.

As a native Italian I was thrilled to count Tarallucci as one of my neighborhood restaurant. That is until tonight when I was served five dishes ( 2 apetizers, 2 pastas and one side dish) all ranging between mediocre and plain bad. To make things worse is the fact that service, once the jewel of this restaurant, has gone to the dogs. It is not enough to speak Italian to work in an Italian restaurant in New York: you also need professionalism, manners and know-how. I will come back to Tarallucci soon to make sure its fall into mediocrity is not permanent.

Great small Italian wine bar. We had a simple lunch of lentils and cauliflower, and some salad and side of bresaola. Food was really good. Wine list equally good. Service friendly. We sat at the bar both times. We'll be back again for sure.

Cosy bar, cafe in one of the best district areas of NY, with good wine list in a good price, accompanied by qualitative, tasteful snacks, like bruschetts, olives, salads, hot soups, or special dishes of pasta, etc. Cosy set up of the bar, nice people and customers. Fantastic place to make a stop or combine with a walk to Central Park or witb Historical Museum visit.

Good place for lunch before going to the nearby Museum of Natural History. Enjoyed a delicious cold squash soup and salmon on whole grain bread. Regular coffee was very good too. But the background music was loud.

Returning from 2weeks working on a project in California dreaming of the Chicken Milanese at Tarallucci UWS…..my local! It was as good as always! Love the consistency of my favorite dishes, the warm welcome back to the neighborhood and the fine service of Martina at the bar😊

During our dinner at Tarallucci e Vino, we had a very special experience, thanks not only to the excellent Italian cuisine, but above all to the impeccable service. We want to pay special praise to Martina who made the evening even more enjoyable. From the very first moment she was welcoming, professional and attentive to detail. He professionally recommended some dishes on the menu, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the ingredients and suggesting the perfect match with the wine. In particular, he gave us a wonderful presentation of the wines present in the restaurant, explaining with enthusiasm the characteristics of each and helping us to choose the one that best suits our tastes and the dishes ordered. His smile and friendliness made the difference, making us really comfortable. The service was quick, but never rushed, and our every request was met with kindness and precision. It is rare to find such authentic and genuine customer attention; this made our experience unforgettable. We highly recommend Tarallucci and Vino, not only for the excellent cuisine, but also for the quality of service, which makes a real difference. We will definitely be back!

Coffee house? Yes. Wine Bar? Yes. Breakfast Ham and Cheese Croissant? Yes. Lunch? How about one of six Panini. Or, one of many Quiche? A short walk from the Museum of Natural History--we went to the one on Columbus Ave and 82nd. Perfect ambience. I'll be back.

I went here a couple of days ago. It was early in the evening and not many other people showed up, so it seemed kind of awkward - though maybe more people come the later it gets. The restaurant is small, anyway, which is good because it allows the servers to be very attentive. I liked the food, especially the bruschetta and the gelato. The pricing wasn't too bad, either. I would visit this place again.

For authentic Italian cuisine in the Upper West Side, Tarallucci e Vino is a top choice. The fresh, high-quality ingredients shine in every dish, from creamy burrata to perfectly cooked homemade pasta. A special mention to Martina, whose professionalism and wine expertise made our experience exceptional. Her recommendation was spot-on, enhancing our meal perfectly. If you love genuine Italian flavors, excellent service, and a great wine selection, this place is a must-visit!

Live this place! We go almost every week-end for lunch, paninis are great, cakes as well, very tasty cappuccino and iced cappuccino. The waiters are extra nice and always help to make room for our huge stroller. One of our family's favorite places

After a visit to the American Museum of Natural History, we kind of wandered the streets in search of a place for lunch. We settled on Tarallucci e Vino and we were pleasantly surprised! We shared a spaghetti and polpettine and they were delicious! We were seated at the bar and the service was excellent! The prices are fair and the ambiance is good. An excellent choice in the area.

The service is great. Nice ambience. Food is average. Pet friendly. The steak is cooked at the temperature we ordered but it's just regular steak, nothing special. The grilled sea bass is not bad, need a little more flavor. The tiramisu is pretty good, could use a little more rum.

I live nearby and often drop into this small, bright, friendly cafe/wine bar for a morning cafelatte and crescente (croissant). Later in the day there's a menu of delicious soups and fresh, well-made sandwiches, salads, pastas, etc. At 4PM it's perfect for an espresso or a glass of wine at the marble counter. Handy to the Museum of Natural History and the New-York Historical Society, this is not a big date destination or a fancy fine-dining establishment, but a totally pleasant place to enjoy that inimitable Italian combination of good food and casual sophistication. In warm weather, the outside tables are great for people-watching on Columbus Ave.

Here's what we got here: fantastic salads Boston bib lettuce, huge panini, shishito peppers: not overwhelmed by bread crumbs and barter, they were melting in your mouth. Prosecco @ $44, real Italian espresso and friendly and efficient service with a smile. **

Walked in with friends late night and had a very nice dinner. Food was good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was friendly but not too professional. The lasagna was very good and the polipo was special, the tiramisu delicious and the espresso perfect.

As a regular Upper west side visitor and coffee snob - I have come to this coffee and food spot on regular trips to New York City . Amazing coffee prepared by Angela and genuine Italian barista - Rita . The soup of the day is always sumptuous and the pastries - don't get me started . I can only rave about this place !!!!!

Are there two? We went to one at 475 Columbus Avenue with the same name but I think it's a wine bar and part of the same restaurant group. It's quite small and we had a bit of a wait, but the barista/waitress behind the bar was so accomodating and had such a friendly face and a happy smile, that it took the edge off. (the edge due mainly to a family occupying the only table for four, and they were clearly finished and had paid, but seemed to be oblivious that others were waiting for the table. actually I don't think they were oblivious at all, they just didn't care) Menu had some varied options, some unusual salads and panini, not unreasonably priced for New York. We stopped in after a visit to the Museum of Natural History on a Sunday afternoon. I liked that it had some vegan options. I had a delicious salad with grapefruit and avocado. My husband had the sgombo, a mackeral salad which he said was very good. One son had the polenta with salsiccia which he really liked. He said the polenta was kind of plain but when mixed in with the carmelized onions and sausage, it was very tasty. My other son had a quiche with peppers and loved it. My cappuccino with soy milk was outstanding. I'm not a soy milk fan but this recent lactose intolerance issue has forced it on me. I don't know if it was the coffee or how it was made but it was the first time I've had a soy milk cappuccino that I really like. The ruby slipper tea was delicate but quite nice. Next time we're in the area, I'd like to return for the wine. Looked like they had some nice ones.

While in the neighborhood, I walked in to get a take-away coffee. Much to my shocking surprise, my order for a "small Latte" in a paper cup was SIX DOLLARS. The rude person at the counter just shouted "six dollars" and she then took my money. Rude. Unfriendly and a HORRIBLE HIGH PRICE for a simple coffee. A total rip-off. This was April 14, 2022, at about 10:20 a.m.

We arrived on the upper west side, hungry and not really knowing which way to head. I stopped a lady in the street and she said this was the ONLY place she frequents - good enough for us, we headed that way. This place doesn’t disappoint, the food was gorgeous, coffee and wine fabulous. We would definitely come back for more! Highly recommend this spot!

The service is horrendous here. It took forever to get an order in, and then two of our four entrées came back as something different than we had ordered--that's what happens when waiters don't write anything down. Because glasses for water are small, and we had to request refills twice, versus them being attentive. I asked for a refill of my ice tea, also in a small glass, and the server said that I'd have to buy another one instead. This is not some high-end white cloth restaurant, but more like a chain Italian restaurant with ordinary panini and pastas, so I was stunned that they don't refill an 8 ounce glass of iced tea. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry." Twice when we were looking for service the waiter was chatting it up with his friends. The restaurant decor is minimal and uninspiring. I simply see no reason for anyone to ever come here.

This typical Italian restaurant is a must try! They have lovely breakfast with eggs or yoghurt, not too fat and in real European style. Also, here they understand what good coffee is! For coffee lovers like me this is the place to go! The coffees and espressos are really good and not too watery which you see in other coffee bars. I'll definitely come back!

The food is delicious, very equilibrated. The wines are awesome and the environment is very quiet, different than many other places in NY. The service is very special, you feel very well in the restaurant.

Ordered the spaghetti a 20 dollar plate. Not even worth ordering. The dish was bland and the noodles were gummy. I do not recommend.

Good place on the UWS near the Natural History Museum to have a pastry and a coffee. The service can be spotty at times, but overall they have good coffee and bread / pastries. Alcohol is served too, so added bonus for happy hour-seekers.

Stopped in after a very late concert. No food was available, but the staff were more than willing to help us select a bottle and wine.

A great choice for lunch. I sat outside and it was lovely (this was prior to the recent heat wave). Wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was very good.

Run into this authentic place while enjoying the central park are ao Nyc. Nice friendly ambiance and a good menu, quite reasonable prices (for nyc) and very nice snd friendly staff. Breakfast dishes are awesome, served for lunch too. Very much recommend.

A perfect spring day in NY on the way to the MET: An outside table, a bottle of Rose, the finest tasting pasta ever, presented as a spaghetti with another order of meatballs and a vegetable of Broccoli Rabe. Presented exquisitely by our server Anna. A glorious day with fine food done well. Don't miss it.

Really excellent food here. The beef was consistently perfect, ditto the fish. Love the veggies and the potato mash and their desserts are all excellent. They have a nice terrace and open-air interior in summer. Highly recommend.

Wow. Everything we had at this small UWS outpost was soooo good. We'd already checked out the menu online...$15 salads, $32 main dishes. It was a small but pleasant space, barely a handful of tables inside and a few more outside, with a bar as well, but...everything was delicious, service was attentive and friendly. Between three of us we got two radicchio/cheese/pecan/frisee salads, one "first course" Lasagna as an entree, Branzino, and chicken with lavender-thyme something or other and potatoes. Every bite of the salad was perfect, the lasagna might actually have done for an entree (veal and beef, homemade pasta). It was really special. The chicken was perfectly moist and the sauce reduction was delectable. I had the Branzino, which was served with a pleasant and tasty side of frisee/orange slices/shaved fennel. The bread they served with the meal was also excellent (several types in a small basket, perfect for mopping up the lasagna ragu or the last of the chicken). Nice glass of pinot grigio, my crew thought their chianti could have been better. Desert looked good but we were stuffed. The tables around us filled and emptied rapidly, there was a table with children nearby inside, and people with babies and/or dogs seated outside. Just friendly, and people looked happy to be here. I can't wait to go back, for once!

GO THERE! Really good Italian restaurant with authentically Italian flavors. Dishes cooked on the spot with great care. Local over-recommended. In the evening possibility to taste cocktails. Perfect service.

Went here on a snowy Saturday afternoon and it was great. We ordered the cheese place and a few pastries. My mother in law loved the coffee. She said it was the best she’d had! The only complaint was that we must have been there during shift change and our service wasn’t stellar.

In search of a particular Sicilian Etna Rosso we happened upon Tarallucci at the suggestion of a friend. We enjoyed our spectacular bottle of 2004 Rovittello by Benanti "'al fresco' along with a quick nibble from our cheese tray with assorted delicious breads. These were the most peaceful and delicious moments we spent in the city. The staff was most friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this location for a meal and more Sicilian Benanti fine wine.

Atmosphere is really amazing. I love the bar area for both breakfast and cocktails. Food is also very good. But (and it's a big BUT...) the service is as cold as ice. We gathered there with a party of six at the bar. We were the last to arrive and our party had already ordered wine. The bartenders did not greet us, and more importantly they did not offer us glasses in which to pour wine from the bottle that had already been ordered. We had to flag down the bartenders, ask for glasses and pour our own wine. After an hour at the bar and at least two bottles of wine, we moved to our table where we dined on muliple courses and yet two more bottles of wine. At dessert, I ordered a glass of $15 dessert wine. I dine out frequently and understand the 'pour' of dessert wine (which the server took time to explain to me...um, I know...thanks!). This was a 'splash' of wine at best (and for $15). My friend asked the server, politely, to "attend to this pour" - meaning, pour a little more. At that moment, given the size of our bill and the time invested at the restaurant during the evening, they had a choice to make. The proper choice would have been to pour a little more wine into the glass. Instead, they took the wine away (and we had to ask it to be taken off the bill). Kind of shocked. On another occasion, I discovered that this restaurant had opened during an early morning bagel run with my six year old. I am a lover of Italian coffee and the experience of sitting in an Italian cafe. We purchased said bagel next door, and that's when I discovered that T e V had opened next door. I was excited, as I know this place from other locations thoughout the city. We went in and I greeted the barista and went to sit down with my son. The plan was to order a cappucinno for me and a hot chocolate for him and allow him to eat his bagel while we were there. At that moment, the barista informed me 'no outside food.' I am a person who frequently dines out - all meals, coffee, you name it. This was approximately 7:45 on a Sunday morning. No one was in the restaurant. He's a KID and we were going to order two drinks AT A COFFEE BAR and no one was there (it wasn't like we were taking up the last two seats)! I was startled to say the least. It's unfortunate because my very lovely UWS neighborhood could use a great coffee bar/restaurant such at Tarralucci e Vino. But the service ruined it (both times!) for me.

I've just got back from a very good dinner at Tarallucci. Splendid selection of cheeses meats and so on to start, followed by good main courses and some exceptional deserts (that chocolate soufflé is worth the 12 minute wait) accompanied by a couple if bottles (between four) of very nice Italian wines. Of course it isn't cheap, nothing in Manhattan is, but it was good value for money. I can't say I'll be back but if I'm in the area again it would be worth another visit and I'd recommend it. Mark

Unbelievable, they put the gratuity in the bill, then the charge another tip when you pay with the credit card, hiding the fact that you are already paying the tip in the bill. very very disappointed with the service

There seem to be a number of places in NYC with pretty much the same name...this one is a wine bar on Columbus and 83rd. St. It has a nice selection of wines, a small but very interesting selection (unusual in NYC) of Italian artisanal beers, and very good food. We went for a late dinner the other night and had the risotto Excellent) and a home made pasta with duck ragu sauce (very good). The kitchen closes at 11pm and we got there at 10;45, but didn't feel rushed. The service was friendly and good. The room itself is bright and modern, with glass on two sides, which makes it a little cold in the winter when it is windy, but it should be great in warmer weather. There is outdoor seating.

I went to the location on the Upper West Side on Columbus. They were the only place open on the morning after Snowmaggedon. I had an Americano and the Whole wheat honey croissant. Both were fantastic- way better than Birdbath and Joe Coffee. The Americano was one of the best I've had. It has a real neighborhood feel to it. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you are in the area.

Tarallucci E Vino is a great spot for lunch or dinner and drinks. My husband and I live close by and come here often. There is constantly good food and service, and atmosphere is wonderful. We enjoy eating inside or outside.

I almost never give four stars on TripAdvisor; this is an exception. We stumbled across this authentic Italian trattoria just around the corner from our hotel, the Excelsior on 81st Street. The two of us ate brunch here twice. The french toast is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Coffee was terrific, and the place itself is lovely: lots of light, beautiful fixtures, and professional servers.

Amazing good and better service. Pasta was perfectly cooked and desserts are a must! Go with the wine pairing suggested by the house (they get it right). Alex is the best! We had a wonderful evening.

Taralucci e Vino has five locations - East Village, Union Square, Upper West Side, Cooper Hewitt, and NOMAD. Having just visited the Union Square site (and enjoyed it very much! Please see my review.), I had a chance to eat at the Upper West Side location. These are two totally different restaurants. Union Square, warm and inviting. Upper West Side....not so much. At the Upper West Side location, we started with a dirty table, and no menus. It was a Saturday, and brunch was still being served, so we ordered the Uova e Zucca (Poached Eggs, Butternut Squash, Potatoes, Parmigiano, Herbs) and the Uova e Polenta (Otto File Polenta, Poached Eggs, Rosemary Ham, Parmigiano, Pink Peppercorns). Given the restaurant's extraordinary use "e" (Italian for "and"), I'll use it myself to describe the Upper West Side location......Eh. Spend your money at the Union Square location.

friendly and fast service without haste, caffè with a good atmsphere, many different italian cookies on the counter in big glass cans, (tozzetti, cantucci al cioccolato USA size, bigger than inItaly), a good espresso and cappuccino with soya milk e with good foam, many cornetti

After a weeks searching many a New York eatery we have finally found a 'proper coffee'. It was a delight (and a relief!) to sit down at Tarallucci e Vino on Columbus and have a perfect cappuccino before me. You could see at first sight the just right créma which was such an encouraging sign compared to the sea of lifeless foam that many other NYC cups before this had disappointingly offered. Coffee was balanced and smooth and a delight all the way to the last sip. The staff are lovely, pastries delightful and the setting is contemporary and intiment which made for the perfect place to sit down to watch early morning UWC life drift by... and enjoy a second cappuccino! Later that morning I put Tarallucci's offering to the real test.. my coffee adoring partner who had not tolerated a full cup of NYC coffee to date. She was in coffee heaven at the first sip... aaahhh! Grazie Tarallucci e Vino from a couple of Melbourne coffee lovers ❤️

It is a small neighborhood restaurant corner coffee bar/restaurant that really shines because of the Wonderful staff. Everyone there is always so happy to see me, and I feel the same about them, that it turns from a coffee stop to a real great place to spend a half hour or more.

My wife and I were cycling through central park and decided to go find a place to have lunch. A very nice lady directed us to her favorite lunch restaurant.... Trallucci e Vino. It is a small place with a nice patio to watch New York go by. I had a couple of beers and my wife had a glass of wine. For lunch I had the Beef Gnocchi and she had a Mesclun Cranberry salad. Total bill was $54. The food was great, the people watching interesting and the service good. It was just a bonus that Matt Dillon was sitting beside us.

I"ve now had several lunches with friends at Tarallucci e Vino, and all have been delicious. The menu has a good selection of pastas and paninis, but I'm always drawn to the salads. The arugula with proscuitto, peas and ricotta is my favorite - a very generous serving of wonderful, fresh flavors - but others are good as well. The atmosphere outside is uncrowded and away from buses, the service is very good and the cappuccino is excellent with a beautifully silken froth of milk - something hard to find in NYC.

I have been going to Tarallucchi since it first opened on it's doors on 18th street 16 years ago. It now covers a lot of ground in the city (literally) with 5 restaurants . On my way to an event at the Naumburg Bandshell last night was an excellent opportunity to stop at the UWS location for salumi e formaggi, which was amazing as usual. The outdoor seating here is more plentiful and better, but my regular haunt on 18th street has a far more inviting dining room. The menus are identical as far as can tell, except the additional lunch and dinner prefix at the Union Square location. The waiters at both places are super knowledgeable about the food and the wine list, which of course is 100% Italian and worth exploring. Our waiter was really nice and got us several wine samples. I settled for Pallagrello Bianco '13 which I wouldn't necessarily have picked out myself, clean and minerally with a touch of fruit.

The menu is short but sweet. Wine selection is amazing. Food is always good especially the pasta. Only bad thing is they don't serve mixed drinks.

This was the best breakfast that we had while in NYC. Simply amazing. My husband had the French toast and I had a egg sandwich with ham in on brioche bun. So good! Very limited seating though. We went on a Sunday morning and didn’t have to wait.

I was very pleased with the atmosphere, service and food. I agree with the other poster that it is probably not great for little kids. If your kids are older and appreciate good food (don't need a children's menu), it would work well.

At tarallucci e vino the cozy atmosphere and attentive service of Martina make for a memorable dining experience, i really enjoyed the curate italian "orecchiette" pasta. And also the wine was good making a top choice for a very good restaurant!

Sitting out in front of Tarallucci with a cup of cappuccino or espresso is the perfect way to start a sunny day. Their pastry is perfection. We try something different each time. This last time my husband tried the Millefogle, a pistachio & strawberry napoleon, where I had the the Cometa. Which was a breakfast panini of smoked salmon, cucumber & dill dressing.

Clearly a place that's just going through the paces. Omelet bland and cold. Service lackadaisical. Lots of better alternatives in the neighborhood.

We chose Tarallucci after local friends recommended it for a nice dinner. It was excellent. I enjoyed the sea bass which was done to perfection. My daughter had the charred octopus which she thought was wonderful. For dessert the cremosa was an unexpected delight. If you are on the UWS I highly recommend this restaurant. It's not very big so make reservations.

We went here for a late lunch on a Wednesday, and it was packed with young people, old people, families, couples, people on their own, etc. Lots of people having lunch and a glass of wine. The restaurant has 18 seats at a U shaped bar and another 20 seats at tables. It takes a while for the food to come, but when it does, it is worth the wait. We had paninis, which were large and really excellent, but there are also a lot of other choices...pastas, salads, octopus, etc... all of which looked very good. We have had dinner here as well, and it was equally good.

All tables were full when we entered the small, sophisticated, restaurant. We walked out, and were called back by the waitress. Vivian was as excited as we were to learn that a table of guests would be happy to move on so that we could enjoy a great meal. She was on task with our order, wine pairings, food satisfaction, and tab. My wine, Nero D'Avola was an excellent compliment to the homemade lasagna. The dining experience felt comfortable and welcoming.

For breakfast this is a great place. It has the best croissants south of 106th St. that we have found, the coffee is excellent, and there are interesting breakfast dishes.

This is a nice little spot, but not suitable for families. I asked the hotel for a recommendation and this was really unsuitable. The menu choices were limited and the portion were small. Quite expensive, not value for money. We left hungry. Could be good for couples, out for quiet night.

(Disclaimer: I am a foodie who is not easily impressed. For me, many of the Upper West Side restaurants that are rated 4+ dots on are "meh".) Over the past 4 months, I've been steadily working my way through UWS restaurants. Tarallucci has become a favorite. Small, cozy room. Low key but very nice. Great service at the bar. Excellent wines by the glass and cheese boards. Octopus appetizer is A+. As is everything else I've tried. My ONLY note is that the bar stools could be nicer/more comfy for those of us who like to dine bar-side.

Had chicken Milanese, rather had eaten! cardboard.. awful Caesar was a solid 2 out of 10m. Wine was ok , disappointing.try another italian place.

Rita & Bruno & the entire staff are the absolute best! Cucina autentica; servizio accogliente; 100%! Wonderful neighborhood place with authentic Italian food

Very nice layout, bright and light filled, high ceilings so low noise quotient, warm and friendly service plus easy and tasty menu with abundant wine choices. Personable and attentive service, quickly corrected without hesitation a slight billing error and perhaps a too aged open wine by the glass. I live in the neighborhood and have been here several times, particularly when it's French neighbor immediately to the south is closed. Can't go wrong.

I already knew Tarallucci e Vino in its other locations in the city. This one is really classy but the great italian tast of what they offer is exactly the same and what expected. This is definitely a must-try restaurant

Enjoyed an hour or so of happy hour on a Friday night with 2 for 1 excellent valpolicella. The Menu was inviting with a typical Italian enoteca variety of cheeses, meats and specials and we wished we could stay all night but has other plans. We'll definitely return next time.

Stopped in to grab coffee and a pastry with a friend to take since we were going to sit in the park, first off the woman behind the counter is extremely rude & obnoxious!! I don’t understand why someone like that is in a service industry Now to the coffee and pastry , the coffee was over priced and tasted burnt, took a few sips and had to throw it out, the pastry was stale and not eaten , thrown out as well, do not waste your money, it’s like your taking $$ and throwing it in the trash.
Buonissimo dessert and Martina ❤️🔥
Always a Great Pleasure Tarallucci E Vino UWS! Tonight I tried “Budino di Pane” with Vin Santo! Amazing Buonissimo dessert! A Special Mention for Martina ❤️🔥 Professional and Bravissima! Grazie Tarallucci!
