I went here recently with friends. It's a small place but our wait was brief. We ordered some dumplings (the fried were better than the steamed), a cucumber salad, and soup for each of us. I really enjoyed the noodles. There's lots of condiments on the table for doctoring your bowl. Everything came out at different times but we didn't mind because was hot and fresh. You can see the noodles being made in the kitchen.

I read the reviews on this place and although I didn't expect much, I was disappointed. It's very VERY small and the three shared tables are all close together. The menu is as it says - mostly noodle dishes. Maybe it was just an off night or we chose the wrong dishes, but they were just average. Noodle plates were 12-15$. Meal with just two plates, a shared fried pork appetizer (bland) was $40 with tip. The service was quick and the food was hot. I'll try somewhere else next time.

I searched for hand pulled noodles that offered delivery while visiting NYC. I was able to find Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles II with delivery through eat24. I was able to select my noodle size from 5 or 6 choices. The delivery arrived to the hotel with the noodle dishes still warm and my kids absolutely loved them. I highly recommend this place!

We saw the sign about the hand-pulled noodles, and the place was full, so we stopped in to eat. We ordered one soup and one pan-fried dish. The noodles themselves were excellent, delicious. The follow-on preparation was decidedly lacking. The duck soup was bland and almost tasteless. The pan-fried dish with "lots of vegetables" had anything but many veggies, and the overall taste was bland as well. Between putting chili sauce and dipping sauce for gyoza, we managed to get a little flavor into them, but the soup should have had a nice, rich stock to begin with. We'd really give the restaurant two stars, but the quality of the noodles did raise the review another level.

This is a small little restaurant that has an excellent menu, including great vegetarian options (even their fried noodles have veggies in them). I ordered online and my food was ready to pick up less than 15 minutes later when I dropped by the location. Portions are large and fresh, and everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. The actual restaurant is fairly small, but it was packed on a Friday night!

My sister had been craving noodles and it was raining, so we ordered delivery from here. It took over an hour, but the food was delicious! We had of Pan Fried Beef Noodle and Crab Shumai Noodle Soup w. Egg. The crab shumai was excellent. Order noodles separate from soup, so they don't get soggy. I would definitely recommend this place! Delivery is free!!

One of the few restaurants that all in my family of adults and teens love! We had soup, dumplings, and noodles and left full and happy!

This place was a wonderful experience and all the dishes are made-to-order with fresh, fresh ingredients. The menu is extensive and the staff is very attentive. Great value for the price; we visited twice and always left with doggie bags! This particular location is in Midtown West/Hell's Kitchen on 9th Avenue. Do check it out!

Picked up some pan fried noodles and veggies. Simple and tasty. A decent quick cheap eat in NYC. Wish I could have tried more options, but the order for one was way too much - easily enough to for two!

II is not I. This Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles location is definitely not as good as the OG location in Chinatown. The menu might be the same, but the kitchen isn't. The heating is inconsistent in the dumplings and noodles. The prices are also higher, but at least this location accepts credit card.

Great bowl of noodles in this little place on 9th Ave. If you are staying in a Times Square Hotel/Midtown you need to walk over give this a try. The three of us had different broths, one Oxtail, one chicken, and Beef. They are large bowls with plenty of delicious noodles in them. Everything is fresh too. We had an order of pork dumplings too and they did not disappoint. It is a small place with about 20 chairs but you may find yourself sharing the one of 3 larger tables. They were doing takeout and they a bike delivery service as well. Our hotel was nearby and we hit this place after seeing a play that afternoon. We got a China town meal without having to go to Chinatown.

Having spent a chunk of time in SE Asia, I'm always on the look for a good noodle shop. This is one of the best places I've found here in the US. I started with some dumplings which were terrific, then ordered the Pan Fried House Special Noodle. It was simply awesome - very flavorful and tasty. And you know you're getting fresh stuff when you can see the guy cutting the noodles in the kitchen. Fantastic place and definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful pan fried noodles! Loved the knife-cut noodles, with chicken and shrimp. High quality noodles and meat, with excellent service! My friend got the fat noodles with shrimp, and agreed with my assessment. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone.

It was cold outside and warm and welcoming inside (once you cross the dark balcony at the entrance). I was served with fresh and tasty food. the portions are big and prices are decent.

The noodles are perfection . I feel like the best way to appreciate them is in the soup .Meat, noodles, veggies. A meal you won't soon forget... the ultimate delicious comfort food. open all day, so perfect for before a show!

Service was quick, though not the friendliest. We ordered takeaway and requested 2 of the hot oils, and the cashier only gave us 1... Per the Yelp reviews, we tried the beef stew with knife peeled noodles, which was delicious! The broth itself was great. They serve the noodles separately so they stay firm, which I appreciate. The spring rolls were the only disappointment... $5.95 for 4 little rolls that didn't taste homemade. Not too surprised since they don't specialize in them, but still sad! Would return for a nice soup on a cold day :)

The food was so good and watching the guy in the back hand pulling the noodles was fun. So many things on the menu and I only got a chance to eat here once.

Family of 5 stopped here for lunch. We had a combination of fried noodles and soups. Everyone loved it. Meals were so fresh and tasty. Very generous portions. They accommodate nut allergies. Would definite return. Great value!

The noodle was ok, but the soup it was in was tasteless. It is not for me. The steamed pork was just so-so.

I started with a small cucumber salad ($8, good for sharing), then shrimp stir-fry with choice of 6 noodle types ($13). My companion had the noodle soup with steamed pork dumplings ($9). All fresh and made to order--you can watch the chef hand-pull your noodles! Service and atmosphere were OK, but the draw is the delicious food and the very reasonable prices! Will definitely return.

The noodles are springy, chewy, tasty, handmade, and delicious. The restaurant is tiny, you could eat in as a group of 4 but no more, but takeaway is fast and well worth it.

One of the best noodles I have ever had... cooked well - everything very tasty - but not a fancy place... pretty scaled down corner of the street kind of eatery. I would definitely come back and order from home - noodles and noodle soup as well as the chili oil - just great!

This place is really small, but they hand pu the noodles for your order! So fresh! So good! The best meal I had in NYC!

This was a great place to get something great to eat in the Time Square area. I truly enjoyed the small quiet dining area. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with me selecting the noodles for my soup. The shrimp wonton noodle soup was amazing. It alone was very filling. Great flavor with many additions on table that could be added on. Surely I will return.

We were craving some noodles and stumbled upon this restaurant. I had duck noodle soup, my partner had dumplings in noodle soup both bowls included some vegetables. The broth was awesome and the dumplings were exceptionally tasty. On top of that the meals were both inexpensive, costing about $10 per bowl. The restaurant was quite small, but definitely good bang for your buck when you dine here.

We stopped in for lunch and were glad we did. We tried a couple fried noodle dishes and they were excellent. Small place with big flavor. Definitely a new go to spot.

Couldn't even finish our bowls of Ramen - so big! Great selection. Every choice you could want. Awesome prices. Only complaint - small restaurant, difficult to move around, but doesn't deter from the food. Would go back for sure. Bathroom could be cleaner.

The video showing Guy Fieri's visit to the noodle chef and the menu posted outside drew us in. The place consisted of approximately 4 - 2 top tables and 4 - 4 top tables in a narrow room. Basically a "dive". The food was AWESOME! We got the pork and veggie fried dumplings and shared a large bowl of the chicken soup with extra wide noodles. YUM! The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was the place needed a good cleaning...

Quick and delicious. Ordered the shrimp shumai noodle soup and the pan fried roast pork noodles. Both were so good!

Small place but you can see the guy pulling the noodles!! Super fresh food. Excellent flavour! 2nd time here in 3 days!

We walked in and saw them preparing fresh dumplings at the table. We received our noodles less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Everything tasted so fresh and they had pots of chilli oil and coriander/cilantro on the table to add to your dish. The noodles were absolutely delicious and one of my favourite meals we had in NYC!

I regret buying a favorite, Singapore Mei Fun, which was excellent and well prepared. I could have ordered one of their large selection of other authentic dishes, with in-house prepared noodles. I have traveled in about a dozen Asian countries, and it felt "real", and so comfortable. The setting was comfortable, the service prompt and food very delicious, . I heartily recommend eating here.

We liked the choice of different size noodles. Andy enjoyed his duck with noodles. My soup with noodles, vegetables, and BBQ pork was OK. Tasty noodles, pork and vegetables but the broth was bland for my taste. Good service and prices.

We went for a late lunch and it was delicious. I had the pan fried chicken noodles and my wife had chicken noodle soup. We both ate with chopsticks so I'm not sure if they have forks or not. Easy to get to either walking or by subway. We would definitely go again.

Great noodles. Awesome flavor. Highly recommend it. Great service. Chicken and veg dumplings are top notch as well.

If you leave the tourist areas of Beijing and Shanghai you'll come across countless local mom and pop's like Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles. Unadorned tables, a view into the kitchen and endless bantering wok side are what you'll find in most Chinese cities and neighborhoods. The food is delicious, plentiful and reasonable in cost. The noodles are great ... The menu, like most english translations in China, is a funny example of the humorous divide when East meets West. (There's even an arrow pointing across the left side of the menu to a pictorial of the noodle choices on the right side)....Portions are good for sharing and the service, while extremely matter of fact, is Chinese, in that, they deliver the goods with detached emotion. Quick, good, tasty, easy and uninvolved. LIke China.

This little place has the absolute best in noodles, with choices for every taste! The food was so fresh, and came quickly.

I have heard Taylor Swift’s song about being 22 so many times!! I like to sing another song called I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 81 even though I’m only 19!! That is a joke that has twos in it and this place is called Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles 2!! Noodle soup is the best thing on this good blue planet earth!! I got the roast pork noodle soup!! I thought the broth was sort of bland but I added some soy sauce and dumpling sauce and it became way more flavorful!! The noodles were very soft and the pork was melty!! I also got the chicken and veggie dumplings which also fed me well!! The food was cheap and very good!!

Good, simple and wholesome noodle soup. Quick, efficient, no-frills service and reasonable prices. Lots of choice too. Recommended.

On a cold day this restaurant serves up some yummy noodle soup bowls that will warm your hungry soul. Noodle soup dishes range from $8.50 Vegetable & Egg Noodle Soup to $11.75 House Special Noodle Soup, Seafood Noodle Soup or the Japanese Eel Noodle Soup with Egg. Plenty of options to add extra topping like veggies, fish balls, extra beef, roast port, pork chop or chicken. My picks are the extra roast duck, ox tail or shrimp. Plenty of choices for dumplings and you get 10pcs for about $6- 8.50...wow what a great deal. For those who don't like soup noodles(and I don't know why) you can order up pan fried noodles, oh so yummy. Plenty of choices for yummy food at this place...happy eating and I'll definitely see ya around the table!

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Noodles are hand made in back and were excellent - you choose from six different kinds. My wife thought they were skimpy on the meat and vegetables, but, nonetheless, very tasty. I had to add extra sauce to get them to my spiciness. Tables are somewhat cramped because of its size, but they move your order quickly. Not the kind of place to dawdle over dinner.

First off, this place is TINY! With that said, it was packed with a line waiting to get in. At first I was concerned about the B grade posted outside but glad I gave it a shot. It’s not the neatest, cleanest, most spacious restaurant and service is not real attentive but the food was really good!!! Stop in for a tasty bite, as the name says... If you’re a germaphobe, you may want to pass, but you will be missing out.

Having been a fan of the original location, I was extatic to learn about the midtown location. I journeyed there for lunch, and I was NOT disappointed. There pan fried noodles (think lo mein) are AWESOME!!! Way better than any others you've ever had. The restaurant is not thr most elaborate setting, but boy is it worth the trip!!!

Best noodle bowl. Hands down. Dumplings are just as good. Great service. Fair price. Right in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. Warming bowl in the middle of November.

Delicious, fresh hand-pulled noodles, in several varieties, for you to choose from. I had the pork dumplings with hand-pulled noodle soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also very plentiful portions. I looked over at other patron's dishes and everything looked wonderful. As for the few naysayers; let's face it, you just do not like this type of cuisine.

We were wandering the streets looking for a place to eat and came across this little noodle shop and wow!! The name itself got us in the door, but they lived up to the expectations!! Sorry we didn’t get a photo but I can confirm that we had fried spring rolls and a spicy noodle combination dish and I highly recommend them both!!

I had the beef noodle soup, and it is delicious. The broth is rich, the noodles are chewy but not gummy, and the beef is tender, juicy and flavorful. A couple leaves of bok choys and the garnishing of chopped scallions enhance the herbal flavor of the soup. Thumb up! This place has a small storefront on 9th ave in Hell's Kitchen. The sign is written in Chinese and you might overlook it when you walk pass by. But if you are looking for good, authentic, Chinese noodle soup or dumplings, definitely give it a try.

First off, this is the real deal. The real hand pulled noodles I've eaten all over China are here, with bells on. The menu is easy to follow, with great pix and descriptions of the kinds of noodles and how they can be served, with what, etc. We did not try the dumplings but we are telling all our friends to go and try everything. The place is run by a family from Fuzhou and they do everything carefully and it's sooooo authentic and delicious! Second, it's super cheap. Ridiculously cheap. My husband and I split the single noodle dish and it was perfect. Bigger eaters next to us ate a whole serving, but that's still under ten bucks. A nice guy in the neighborhood was showing the place/food off to his cousin visiting from Georgia. It's that kind of place-- sheer perfection!

My friend and I planned a stop here for some post-theatre noodles. My dish- Pan Fried Noodles with Tofu- was superb, with a generous quantity of flavourful tofu pieces. We were served straightaway.

I went to this restaurant after reading so many great reviews. Sadly, it was horrible! Truly reprehensible! I started with the cucumber salad which was okay, except it was a very small bowl of nothing but cut up cucumber in soy sauce and sesame oil that was $8.75!! What a rip off. Then I had the pork dumpling soup with noodles. The dumplings were just okay. The noodles had a great texture but no flavour because the broth tasted like hot water with some fat in it. It was the worst broth I have ever tasted anywhere in the world!!! TRULY DISGUSTING!!!! If you tried, you could not create a more vial soup. BEWARE!!!! I can’t in words how offensive this was!

Wanted something to 'hit the spot' and ended up coming here. Their noodle bowls are AWESOME. Has the pork dumplings with the fat noodle. Add the hot sauce, the soy and the cilantro and you have happiness in a bowl.

I ordered the fat noodles with broccoli. They were truly outstanding. Nice chew, great flavour… just delicious. I would go back again and again and order the same thing. My husband had the pork dumpling soup with noodles, however, and it was inedible. The broth had zero flavour. That was extremely terrible, but mine was so delicious. Just make sure you order the pan fried noodles and not the soup. I wish I could give this five stars and I would if it weren’t for my husband‘s dish.

I would give it 3 1/2 stars for the food, the place is very small and not much decors; and it wasn't warm enough when we were there on a cold day. The dumplings were very good (for a Chinese standard) and the noodle, the beef, and the broth were very tasty. There was quite a good amount of beef in the bowl. The price is high compare to noodle places in Chinatown, I guess due to the location? It is a great option if you are in the area.

Decent hole in the wall noodle place. Got the one fried chicken noodle with the fat hand pulled noodles. Noodles themselves were great but the rest of the dish was ok. Ambience is classic hole in the wall.
BETTER DUMPLINGS THAN MEE
This place has been around our ‘hood for a little while, and we only got to try this today because we were craving for dumplings. Theirs are better than Mee (which has thicker wrappers). It’s thinner and the taste of meat and vegetables ooze out of the wrappers. It’s juicy, tasty, and personally, perfectly half-fried. We also ordered stir-fried noodles and its smoky taste was evident. Very delicious. Mix fish balls soup was also good. Pan-fried pork buns, to me, were a little bland. I’ve tasted better ones. Overall though, great foods. The friendly staff make this hole-in-the-wall bigger in heart’s cooking!
