Saw the mac and cheese burger on the food network on facebook. I had to look this place up since I was headed to New York shortly after. The atmosphere is a nice spot to have drinks and lounge with friends. The restaurant gladly took a reservation for my friend and I and the server constantly made sure we were comfortable along with the table next to us since we were right next to the window. I highly recommend this burger if you love mac and cheese like I do. For $19usd it comes with all that greatness - patty, deep fried mac and cheese patty, mac and cheese itself and fries. It's definitely a must try. I really enjoyed it. Your choice on how the patty is cooked and the difference of mac and cheese blended together will adds to the taste!

Plan to go early if you just want a seat at the bar. I ate here twice out of necessity, and was disappointed by the inconsistency. Both times I had a burger and fries- once it had the brioche bun, and once it was like a store bought wonder bread bun. Once it had bacon, once it didn’t. Despite ordering the same thing both times! I tried the truffle fries on one trip, and found them topped with melted cheese and too much truffle oil. The second time, I went for the plain fries, and they were served cool, like they’d sat for a while. Overall, the food and service were both inconsistent, but it’s decent if you’re hungry for a burger.

The Ainsworth is connected to the hotel I recently stayed in so they provided the breakfast each morning but I was not overly impressed. Food was cold each day and the staff never greeted me upon arrival. I also attempted to order room service from them one night and the server who took my order seemed inconvenienced by my phone call and proceeded to yell at me about it. After that fiasco, my order was never placed. I called several times to check and the server who took my order answered each time and said it was coming. 2.5 hours later when nothing came I asked for a manager who claimed the server had I know idea who I was and that I never placed an order. They also offered no apology. I will definitely not eat there again and would recommend you not either.

A ribeye melting on your tongue whilst watching a game. delicious... have a beer whilst your at it....

Very good choice of dishes in a very lively atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is OK . Effective service.

This is the breakfast bar and restaurant attached to the Hilton Garden Inn hotel. Very bad value for money but plenty of better places nearby.

We went here for lunch after our flight into Laguardia. We are staying next door at the Hilton Garden Inn. We found they have a lunch special Monday - Friday until 4. For 15.99, we got an appetizer, choice of a sandwich, classic burger, or salad and a drink. We ordered macaroni and cheese fries ( panel battered and fried macaroni and cheese) which was excellent. We also ordered a short rib sandwich - also excellent. Normally this would rate five stars for me but the wait staff service was poor. Our food was served but it took most of lunch to get our iced tea- about 20 minutes after our food arrived and 30 minutes after we ordered.

We ate here with our two kids and there was no children's menu, so we had to be creative. We ordered the chicken tender and fries appetizer for our kids and there was enough for the both of them to share. The beet salad was delicious with greens, beets, goat cheese and an Asian type salad dressing. We also ordered the works burger that had bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion, along with the Ainsworth sauce, which is a spicy siracha type sauce. As a side we ordered the baked mac and cheese which was very creamy and a little crunch on top- baked perfectly. I was very surprised that on a Saturday afternoon we were the only ones in the restaurant. I would definitely come back again the next time we visit NYC.

Good service. Good food. Had the Cobb salad and rest of group had burgers. Not one complaint. Will come back.

Great NY steak, we really liked it. Also the spinach dip was excellent. Cannot go wrong. Great staff.

We dined here for a buffet breakfast. It was $16 per person. There was a waffle maker, but otherwise, mostly continental-style with a dish of scrambled eggs and bacon. There was yogurt and fruit cups, and bagels and english muffins. It was nothing special.

Adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn, the Ainsworth is a bustling sports bar in the evening, as evidenced by the roar that emits into the lobby anytime the doorway opens, and the breakfast room in the morning. They put out tables in front of the bar to hold the buffet items, and it works very well. Their bacon is especially meaty, and I like that they put the fruit in individual covered cups such that one can eat it later. Could use some fresh bananas, though I might have missed seeing them. Apparently there is a menu, but the buffet is always the best option.

My 17 yr old daughter found what was supposed to be the best macaroni and cheese cheeseburger in NYC on Instagram and this is where we headed. It didn't disappoint. We went on a Friday night at 745pm and sat at a nice high top in the bar. It was loud but not too bad. TVs with sports on etc. Young after work crowd. The service was excellent an attentive on a Friday night. I started with a Cosmo, very good, $17 but its NYC. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips, came out very hot and delicious. They give you a tall water bottle on the table so you don't have to keep asking them for water. My daughter and I split the Mac and Cheese Cheeseburger that came with piping hot fries, it was enough for 2 people. Cooked perfect and the right amount of cheese, it had a panko fried mac and cheese patty on the bottom, then the burger then mac and cheese, what's not to love. WE also ordered for $9 Mexican corn, like an elote, it was spicy and delicious and could actually feed 4 people, Worth the $9 price tag for corn. Overall and excellent meal.

Came for a meeting over drinks. It was super quiet at 5:30 - and was very lively by 6 PM. The bartender in the back bar was pretty slow. I asked what was on happy hour - and she told me "she could do a cab or a pinot grig". Yet when I got the bill for my single glass of wine - it was more expensive than the list price for said wine. So I'm unclear what "she did" when I would have ordered the Pinot Noir for the same price. Drink service was SO SLOW for 4 glasses of the same wine - that the food arrived first. No joke. Great vibes and location - pricey menu.

We arrived around 5 p.m. and the music was loud and the place was very very busy. The service was a little slow and the waitress was somewhat confused about the menu, but everything turned out alright. The chicken wings were good. There are alot of burger selections. The drink selections were good and the music was good. I will definitely return when in the area again.

Great bartender and nice outside second story patio. Ridiculously loud and packed for a Wednesday night.

I had dinner at Ainsworth Midtown and it was poor. The cocktails were OK but the food was really poor. The prices are high for the overall experience. I will give this place a miss in the future.

Went on a date with my girlfriend. We had a really great time...until we got the bill. Place has a really fun ambiance. We sat in the lounge area. If you’re looking for a good time (rather than amazing food) this is a perfect date spot. That said, we got 2 burgers and 3 drinks. The bill somehow came out to $95. We didn’t even have appetizers. Pretty shocking that an Applebee’s quality burger costs $17 before tip and tax and a Moscow Mule costs $15. This isn’t a fancy restaurant, it’s a sports bar. Steer clear of the turkey burger, it’s gross. Both tables next to us had similar reactions.

I was rather surprised to see such clean straight sport bar. Was big & orderly. The hostess was far from friendly or welcoming & rather indifferent and rude. The rest of the staff was ok. Service for drinks took a little long as well as for the server to keep an eye on the table. Food was good. I was extremely happy to see the beyond meat on the menu. I'M TELLONG YOU GUYS YOU WILL NOT TASTE THE DIFFERENCE. BE KIMD TO ANIMALS AND SAVE A LIFE.

My family and I had dinner here. It was a Friday evening in mid-December and we couldn't get a table anywhere else in the area. I was surprised that a hostess led us to a table fairly quickly. There were lots of empty tables in the back of the restaurant. But then another employee shouted at the hostess, telling her not to seat us there. They were talking for a few minutes while we were just standing there without knowing what was going on. Then the hostess took us to a side counter and told us that it was the only place available, though there were a couple of more empty tables nearby. We sat at a weird counter facing a wall. It took a while before a server took an order. Then she came back and said they were out of Corona beer. We ordered some other beer and food and waited... and waited...for over an hour. All the food we ordered was just hamburgers and tacos. The food finally came and it was just O.K. We wanted to get out of the place as quickly as possible once we finished eating, because the music was too loud for us to talk normally, but it took a LONG time again for us to get a check. Overall bad experience.

Was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for a few days and stopped in twice for drinks. The first evening was quiet and service from the bartender was quick. Gin & Tonic and Margaritta were weak at best. Stopped in a day later, early afternoon. Loud, loud music, bar staff couldn't give us the time of day and had their backs to the bar on their phones. Went upstairs to the terrace. Tables were full. Stood for five to te minutes waiting for a hostess or waitress. Finally motioned waitress over and couldn't tell me if there was a waitlist, went to find out and then hid behind the bar. Left and went to the steakhouse next door for cocktails which were superbly made. Avoid this place.

Afternoon burger or not, in this case not. Infact we were seated then ignored. Can't be messing around with that so we walked out and went a couple of doors down to the open kitchen and had the best food in New York so far. The Ainsworth need to seriously look at re training staff. This is not a case of a customer being picky, it is about serving your customers with your full attention. At the time of our visit it was not busy and three members of staff walking about, person on the desk on her mobile ignoring everyone, the other two not really bothered.

Lukewarm reception, no server visit to table but was Buffet with serve self coffee. Eggs lukewarm, bacon perfect. May try for dinner to see if better but jury still out.

We stayed at the attached Hilton Garden Inn and ordered food to take up to the room. I had a Burger & my husband had the Buffalo Wings. While waiting for our food, we ordered a drink at the bar, which we were able to take back to the room with us. What we ate was really good, and I'm a pretty picky eater. (This is the third time I've eaten at this chain - twice here, and 1 other time in Newark.) It was a little pricey, and there are cheaper places to eat nearby I guess, but this was convenient and really good. I'd eat here again.

Sad excuse for a Hilton Hotel’s Restaurant- Service is non existent, menu is bar food served poorly, did I say bar- music is pounding so loud you can’t order, can’t swallow your food and when you do it is not cooked right. Two steaks a week apart both poor quality and not correctly cooked. Just sat at table for 3rd attempt- 24 minutes of not one server even with acknowledgement. Hotel stay sends you here for breakfast- do you enjoy your shoes sticking to the floor, or the tables sticky and smelling of last night’s binge? Suppose it’s a great bar scene if you’re thirsty... and like your conversation at 80db.

I was promptly greeted by their friendly staff. My order was taken. I ordered their supreme chicken nachos and some bone-in bbq wings. I noticed that some regulars were there getting their usual orders and talking to their favorite hostess. Very laided back atmosphere. The nachos were good and the chicken wings were pretty bad. Tasted like they were cooked 3 days ago. Yikes!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS The restaurant is horrible. I tried to eat there twice, the first time was Saturday night, we had a party of six we were seated promptly and then waited, and waited a server finally came and asked if we wanted drinks, I ordered the Roosevelt. it was good, it all went downhill from there, we ordered our entrees I ordered the nachos with BBQ pork, and then we waited and waited, about 25 minutes passed before we got our food, I was presented with a platter of chicken nachos, I said I ordered BBQ Pork, the food runner said he would replace it, He returned 15 minutes later and said they were out or BBQ pork would you like a steak I said yes, med rare, then waited and waited, 15/20 minutes later our server came over and said sorry for the wait and she would take it off our bill, but would still receive my nachos, and I waited, I sat there like a FOOL while everyone else ate. It was humiliating, After everyone was done eating we were asked if we wanted dessert, I don't recall what they ordered for dessert but I still had not received my entre, we asked for the check and they started clearing the table, and then someone arrived with a metal tray with an upside down 10 can on it. I said we are leaving, and they marched off and returned with our bill. I sat there for over an hour like an idiot and I NEVER GOT ANY FOOD still don't know what was with the metal tray and the 10 can, I guess it was some kind of joke, I guess the thought I had metal teeth like Jaws from the James Bond movies. Another person in our party paid the bill so I don't know if they were charged the mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more,I hope they weren't since all I got was a cocktail. BTW It was clear our server was avoiding us. I left HUNGRY and PISSED OFF. The next morning we went to have brunch, as we were checking out of the Hilton at noon, (the Hilton is a good hotel) We arrived at 11:05 the restaurant was empty, and were told we could sit anywhere. We sat ourselves and waited for about 5 minutes before our server decided to come with menus, she asked if we wanted something to drink, and my wife and daughter said no TY just water, I asked for a Bloody Mary, and she left and came back and said they didn't serve Bloody Marys, just Mimosa, juice etc. I said water TY. we placed our order, I ordered the chicken and waffles, my wife the Tablewich, and my daughter the Pancake tocos. 20 minutes later our food arrived. The menu stated the chicken and waffles came with sausage gravy mine NO, I said it was supposed to have sausage gravy and the food runner said no it comes with hollandaise. I asked our server to see the menu again and it did in fact come with sausage gravy, I asked her to get some. She returned 5 minutes later with a cold cup of sausage gravy. My wife's Tablewich was fine, my daughter's pancake taco arrived COLD, and tasteless, it looked like all they did was fill the tough premade pale white "pancakes" with leftover scrambled eggs from the breakfast buffet. My chicken and waffles also arrived COLD, The waffles were obviously pre-made or packaged, they were tough and looked like someone sat on them, the fried chicken was HAMMERED beyond recognition, dried out, and tough, and the hash browns were mushy probably leftover from breakfast buffet as well. I needed a knife to cut the chicken and the eggs were hard poached and topped with about a teaspoon of tasteless so-called "hollandaise" i.e Knorr mix. We would have sent the tacos and C&Ws back but we were hungry and were checking out at noon and figured if we sent it back we may never see food again, Did I mention we were the only ones in the restaurant? I have been a chef for 40 years and Ainsworth has made my list of top 10 worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in my life. Don't go there, It's run by kids who seem more interested in their phones than doing their jobs, there are plenty of restaurants in the area, the coffee shop across the street was good and I'd bet the hotdog cart down the street has better food and service. The Ainsworth is overpriced, the service horrible, and from my experience so is the food, if you get food.

The Florida State Alumni associated does their view parties here, and we came to watch the game. The place was packed, and there was a DJ, who was pumping music during the commercial breaks. Luckily we reserved a table and the food was descent. The waitress was on top of it despite the place at capacity. If you're a FSU fan, this would be the spot to go to in NYC for a game watch.

I was really impressed with this location, very nice place to hang out, have a drink, meet friends, maybe eat something

My friend and I made a reservation before eating here on a Saturday night. We both ordered the famous mac and cheese burger. It was soooooo good! The burger was cooked exactly how I asked and the mac and cheese addition was genius. I savored every bite! The french fries were also delicious. The place was big and nicely decorated. We also enjoyed the music selection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!

Well located and nice terrace in first floor. Good beer and excellent Ainswoth burguer. If you like sports, you can also watch games in several TV screens all over the room at ground floor. Very nice and professional staff.

Awful service and average food. The location in midtown is perfect and the room layout is good, but service is very poor. The guy serving us didn't understand us and we couldn't understand a word he said. We asked for the check and it took 20 minutes to arrive, took forever to order, and just overall a poor experience. We got in on Easter Sunday for a reason; nobody goes there and that's my advice.

This restaurant is next to the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown. I ate breakfast and it was very good. There is a breakfast buffet or you can order from the menu. Very convenient to the hotel.

Joined to the Hilton next door thought I would enjoy a nice evening meal here. Well that was a huge mistake. Ordered the marguerite pizza which took 30 minutes to get to my table ... a very loud conversation took place between staff asking where my pizza was but the mystery continued. There was only myself and one more table in so not a busy period - the locals must know better. When the pizza arrived it was just pizza fingers, disappointing presentation and then came the first bite - hard, tasteless, greasy (and that's me being kind). The waitress even tried to take the plate away when I had two slices left ... she clearly felt sorry for me and wanted my pain to end. $15 pizza when just five doors down a takeaway would have been better. Looking at some other reviews this is just a place to completely avoid if you don't enjoy frozen food.

We love it. We arrived for dinner on a Saturday night and was very excited because I was having an American football match. The food was delicious. But the emphasis was really for the care. The waitress was very attentive, placed us at a table and served the dinner menu when it was late. The meat was delicious and the entries too. I would definitely come back but I finally met on the last day of the trip.

Didn't eat here, but went here for a beer since it was right next door to our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn). Upon approaching the bar, it seemed as if the bartenders were grumpy and after numerous attempts to get their attention for some service we finally were helped (after calling out "excuse me" several times). I don't even know why we even left a tip. Never even got a thank you!. Won't come here again. I definitely do not recommend it!

Love the location and it’s hidden and huge. Had a very nice lunch after a day of shopping and the meal was excellent. Our server was fast to seat and take our orders- was expecting an average meal but ended up with an excellent one. Love the French Toast ❤️. They did have a brunch deal but we opted to order individually. Price was excellent- with drinks under 50 bucks.

Stopped by to watch the Alabama football game. We did not eat, just had a few beers, and they were super expensive beers. The atmosphere to watch the game was great, but left to find cheaper beer.

The location is okay, as soon as you get in the crowd was tight. Thanks goodness there are two bar areas, went to the back and it was a bit better. Lots of TV for sports fans, music way too loud hard to speak to your friend across a small table. Food was good, staff was rude felt we we were a bother. The wait staff interrupts with their full body to reach over and clear the table. No excuse me or may I pick up these empties, NO just rude. Patron lovers don't go there they do not carry this tequila.

Stayed at the Hilton garden inn for 4 days and enjoyed having drinks here after a long day. Terrace area very nice and relaxing.

Brunch was fantastic with the girls!! The food and service were outstanding! Cant wait to go back for lunch.

We went to the Ainsworth midtown for drinks and dinner after work. The place is really lively and nicely decorated, prices reasonable. The bar staff is great, attentive and fast. Drinks were half price during happy hour 4-7. The food was excellent. We had the guacamole as an appetizer, the Apple Poppy salad and the strip steak. Steaks are half price on Monday. Service was great. We really liked this place and definitely want to try the other locations.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which is attached to the Ainsworth. The hotel was great, whereas the Ainsworth isn’t that great. To be honest breakfast was disorganised - everyday we had to ask for something, bread, tea etc! They don’t keep things topped up. If you go in there for an evening drink it’s a ‘sports bar’...the music is far too loud, can’t have a conversation. It’s just rap music which is bearable but they need to cater for everyone - not everyone likes that type of music and there is a variety of people that stay at the hotel! Needless to say you could always get a seat!! Even the staff agreed with the customers and have made comments to the owners of the bar who, should take note as it’s a common complaint in the reviews!!!

I was very disappointed with some of the staff members on NYE. The bartenders were great, but the others were terribly rude and disrespectful to all patrons. I’ve never seen a business so disorganized and poorly run. At coach check, there were several men standing on tables yelling to everyone to move back when there was one person getting coats. Furthermore, when I gave my ticket to one of the men, he threw it on the ground and told me to move. When they couldn’t find a patrons jacket, they auctioned off someone else’s in place. Not the service you expect when you pay such a high price. I won’t be coming back.

This restaurant was a part of hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Midtown. It has a great breakfast for $16, and kids are free!

Great lemon pepper wings. Love the wedge salad. Will definitely come back. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to nice (but slow servers) .

Before leaving NYC I had arranged to have lunch with a friend before going to the airport, so, I booked here just because it was next door to my hotel and very convenient, what a great place, I love the décor and lunch was really good, we had Mexican dishes which were good but, I wish I had the burger as I saw some on a table next to us and these looked amazing, oh well, there is always a next time @theainsworth For more of my favorite restaurants and places follow me on my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or on Instagram @naddias_favorites

We walked in, and the head server was super nice, he got us a table right away even though we did not have a reservation. We both ordered a burger, and I had a glass of sparkling wine. The burgers looked good, but were so sloppy made I could not eat mine (I took it home). The wine was okay, nothing special nor strong but extremely overpriced ($23 for one flute) Our main gripe was the music's volume. It was barely 8 pm and the music was so loud the waitress messed our order up, and we could not even hear each other speak.

I met a friend for happy hour drinks and had a nice time. The happy hour specials were great, but do not include the Frozee and Frozen Mai Thai (didn't stop me from having one!). Rooftop is nice as well - there were some parties with tables/areas reserved, but still plenty of space to walk in without a reservation. Post-work crowd was great and the bar is in a good location! I hadn't been here in a long while, but I'd definitely return soon!

The Ainsworth is a great place with awesome music. It's a little bot too rowdy and nearly impossible to get a seat during game nights. The staff is friendly and kind of amazing when it comes to catering to what you want. I've had their Mac and cheese burger and it's great, however their NY strip wasn't anything to write home about. The fries were fine, a bit on the dry side, but the atmosphere and staff makes up for most of it. Whoever their dj is needs a raise for having Afrobeats in his playlist

We stopped here a few times on our visit since we were staying at the Hilton Garden right next door. it was fairly crowded on the weekend and a little hard to find a spot but the drinks were good and the staff friendly. Definitely a good place for a drink if you are staying here.

Popped in on recent trip to ny Friend and I ordered steaks and both were cooked exactly as requested Only prob was the "steak fries"... these were literally huge potatoes cut into 4 pieces and deep fried... in truth huge and quite tasteless, hard in the middle too Service was reasonably friendly and quite prompt Beers were $8-9 on draught and $6-7 in bottles Filet steak was about $45 Probably would return there but certainly not for those "fries"

Slow service Husband had the french onion burger. The french onion soup was bland broth, luke-warm. Burger was good. I had the Trash Can Nachos with chicken. The sauce was soupy. The guacamole was good with it.

Linked to the Hilton Garden Inn as a restaurant option, the experience this morning was appalling. ALL the buffet food was cold. The sausages, from the one mouthful I had, tasted like it had more salt in them than a a glass of seawater, the waffle iron hadn't been turned on, so was going to be ready too late to be able to use, and even then, when switching the toaster on, tripped the breaker to the toaster and waffle iron. No Assam/ English breakfast tea available either. The porridge, which was also cold, could only be eaten from disposable paper bowls similar to those found in a hospital! Completely unprofessional and highly wasteful. The waitress tried to help by ordering waffles from the kitchen but even those turned up cold. No offer to refund. Worst breakfast experience to date. Eat elsewhere.

We found this place by accident on our way back after a hectic day. The place has great atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food here - the Wagyu burger was amazing and the family said it was the best burger they’d had. Drinks were good and service great (ie we had glasses of water brought straight away on sitting down and drinks were quickly served). Well worth a visit!

We stayed at the Hilton next town and re river a daily credit that could be used at the connected Ainsworth. We visited three nights and were ignored by the bar staff every visit. The drinks were over priced and there is no wine selection. You should use your Hilton credit to buy snacks at the store and avoid this place.

If you are looking for a relaxing dining experience, LOOK SOMEPLACE ELSE. The hostess was leaning back looking at her phone. She couldn’t care less. After being seated in an otherwise nice venue, we couldn’t hear each other over the too loud hip hop type music on the speakers. I can’t tell you about the food on the limited menu because we got up and left. I think some adult supervision might have been in order.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a NYC resident. My sons and I had a large salad, BBQ chicken sandwich and the Mac N Cheese Burger. The food was all excellent. The service was good and the place has a cool atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

Staff was very friendly - placed was packed because UFC fight and we had no reservations, since we decided last minute to eat here because we stayed at hotel next door. They went out of their way to get us a table, but they were all reserved. However, the bar was open and offered for us to seat and ordered food there. Our bartender, Alex was awesome, friendly, excellent service and very attentive. Food was good, we had turkey burger, which was not so good. Lacked flavor, but he then exchanged it for the regular beef burger which was awesome! Prices are normal for NYC - $17 for burger. Back home I would pay $10 for that, but then again you are in NYC. I had a beer, but I had a taste of a mixed drink my friend had and it was really good. Overall it was a great experience...with the DJ music playing it and the Tv's, fun night. They also have a rooftop patio, but we didn't get to go.

Wow wow wow yes the burger tastes as good as the photos ! So glad we ventured to find this place I must admit the place stunk of drainage which was a little off putting not sure what that was about But when the burger came out it was incredible and yes I finished it all have been dreaming of it ever since lol

Perfect setting for a nice relaxing meal. Beautiful rooftop deck lifts you above the cityscape. Menu is a little limited but enough to make most happy. Good selection of drinks as well. French Onion Soup Burger was perfect, but didn't really need the fries. Perfect night

Just left this place. Burgers were good but the desserts were awful! My daughter ordered the flan based on sever recommendation. It tasted like a wet sponge with chocolate sauce drizzled on it. We ordered a Pana Cotta to go for our son. He said it tasted like medicine. I tried it and literally spit it back into the to go box. We spent the same amount on dinner at a great Italian restaurant last night. Do yourself a favor and save your money for somewhere else.

This bar sits below the Hilton Garden Inn on 33rd. Had an enjoyable meal there after a long day in New York. Food selection is perhaps more a typical bar with pretty large starters that included thing like wings, sliders and chips with dips. We shared hot wings. Mains were steak and partner had burger. Steak very tender. Staff were friendly but not great at serving the tables and we went pretty much full meal after initial cocktail without an offer of a drink. I had received wine menu as food being served but they did not come back. Better options in New York but worth a stop if you want a burger and a quick drink.

6 adults went for happy hour and dinner. Had to ask for water refills. Adult beverages were ok - could have been stronger. Staff member came over as I was putting a french fry in my mouth and he took the french fry container OFF of my plate, putting it on my placemat, and then promptly REMOVED that plate. I was too shocked (as were others at the table) to remark or stop him! Yes, the burger was consumed, but it was clear that I was enjoying the remaining fries. I have never had a situation where staff rearranged my plate while I was dining.

I came here on a Friday night for an engagement party. We had unlimited alcohol. I asked for a chocolate martini. They couldn't make it. I asked for an expresso martini. The machine was broken. They had guacamole and chips, cheese balls, and vegetables in dip. It was nothing special. It was very loud and it was hard to hear people.
Food 5* | Service/ Atmosph 1*
Food - fantastic! I can’t rave enough about the food. I had the turkey burger with mac and cheese fries. The burger was outstanding, although it was priced at $17. Now that I didn’t mind however the tip was automatically included at 20% which was a joke. Drinks - nothing to rave about. Cocktails were fairly bland and the waitress was very unenthusiastic when walking us through the menu. Service - we didn’t have a reservation so they sat us in the low chairs out the back which was fine. However they left us for 45 minutes from when we first arrived to taking our drinks order. We then had additional people join our table and they were really accommodating however once again to get anyone’s attention was painful. The icing on the cake for us is that we went to go and pay and this task took for one of our party to go up with her card and stand there whilst they processed it as it was taking forever. Overall, I am going to return to an Ainsworth, not this one, but another location as the food was great!
