A very good steak, decent selection of beer, nice interior. Not as cheap as some other places in neighborhood though.

Oh wow—the food was awesome here! My friend had the kale salad and switched out the kale for baby arugula and she said it was fantastic! I ordered the truffle fries—DELICIOUS!!!! I also had the chicken salad—-delicious again! Would DEF go here again! Nice waitstaff!!!

Thank you Dillon and team! I stopped in for a quick lunch and it was great. Comfortable seating at the bar. Pinot Grigio $11 was good as well as the sweet potato quinoa salad $16.

This was a recommendation from a friend who visited just a month prior. My husband and I were playing tourists, since its been over 10 yrs since being home in NY, and wanted to do stuff tourists do. THIS place was worth the trip to the city!! Food was amazingly good. So flavorful. I had the fried chicken sandwich while the hubs had a burger. We were not disappointed!!

I wanted a glass of wine, wound up with a terrific cab sau and a super tasty cheese board and the us open. Nice place!

Nothing can go wrong with bottomless mimosas and an excellent brunch menu. My husband and I were looking for a brunch place in the big apple. It was our anniversary weekend in NYC. We were referred to this place by a bartender at PHD Terrace. The Horny Ram had one of the best Avocado toast I have ever tried, my husband had the eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon which he loved. We sat at the bar since the wait was an hour for a table. They do not take reservations. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful with making suggestions of things to do and where to go to around Broadway. We will definitely come back to this place next time we make it back to the big apple!

The special sauce is AMAZING!! No need to say more, just get it. Doesnt take reservations but ive been a few times around 6/7 on a saturday night and have never had a wait.

Very pleasant watering hole on the Upper East Side with attentive service, clean toilets and avery attractive venue. Lunchtime is generally not very crowded but the joint really rocks later in the evening.

Great atmosphere, great drinks, and great food. It has a cool vibe both inside and out. Our favorites were the ahi tuna sliders and the caprese salad, and Mac and cheese. The bread pudding was also really good. I enjoyed the beer menu as well. They special made a M&M pancake for on child for dessert!

We had brunch with Bellinis , the eggs Benedict was the best I have had. It was a fun a place to dine in and I highly recommend it.

Fast food with a taste that comes from high end restaurants. Hamburgers and also a selection of fresh oysters on the half shell. You eat here once...you will be back

A must do in New York. Friendly and very accommodating staff, especially when going with children. AND don't forget the happy hour, it's a treat!

Best waiter ever! Crowded Friday night, sat outside, crowded lil table. Heater was on full blast, so nice of them to turn it down for us warm blooded Texans! Food was good. First time I would ever say too much bread, to enjoy the fried chicken sandwich. Good fries, good cocktails, perfect nachos, yes in NYC! Thin and crispy as they should be. Brussels spouts were nice, but oh those nachos! Humus sandwich for my cousin, she said it was ok. Steak for my husband was delicious as was the garlicky chimichuri sauce.

This was my second time here and still not disappointed. The ambiance is cozy and chill. The food was delicious! I had the Mac and cheese and my sister ordered the burger and we both really liked our food. The drinks are good too! I recommend the Poison Ivy. This is a great spot for late night food and drinks! The kitchen is open until 1 am and the bar until 4. The bar tender was also very pleasant. I’ll be returning when I visit NYC again next year.

Awesome place. Great food and drinks. Live DJ added to the cool vibe! Open late. Would definitely recommend.

Visited on a Saturday evening in November 2022. Busy, but not too crowded. We had drinks only, so we sat at the bar. The place is clean and the staff are helpful. Good bar selection. Nice ambiance. Showed up thirsty, left horny.

Called in walking back from Grand Central Station. TV's were showing the womens tennis final presentation with no sound or text. so couldn't quite understand why both women looked like they had lost. Then saw some replays of Serena's meltdown and looked on line to see what had happened. All over a pretty nice crisp cider. Maybe need to put some text on the TV's

Great service, great steak sandwich with kimchi. I had to get sweet potato fries. The pumpkin ale was also good. I would dine here and there was ample outside seating.

Drinks were top notch, music was dope, bartenders were friendly and not at all pretentious. The patio upstairs was our favorite place to sit and we loved the decor. Also, to find craft cocktails for $13 in this area was a real treat for our pockets lol the bar we were at before coming here were $26 a pop.

A tiny restaurant discreetly placed on the prime street of Manhattan has a pleasant vibe to boast of. The bartenders are welcoming and do their best to keep the diners happy. Being a vegetarian i tried the kale and artichoke dip and well as falafel sandwich. I loved both of them. The wine selection was fair and the food and beverages were fairly priced.

Awesome tacos and nachos. The service was exceptional. Maybe a bit weak on the pasta but you shouldn’t really have pasta here anyway. Great night

We stumbled upon this place with its location being quite close to our apartment. We ended up popping in after struggling to find places post show around Times Square and it did not disappoint. It was charming, chilled and perfect for a social. Dimmed lighting, candles, kitchen open until 1am and an excellent menu. We went in the following night and it was slightly louder and busier but they had booths at the back, we shared the cheeseboard and a bottle of wine and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food is solid and their cocktails are good. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. They also have the other half IPA on tap, which you don’t get at a lot of places in Manhattan. Wish the music was a little less loud on weekends as it is a bar not a club.

We're always looking for local draft beers, so we happened upon The Horny Ram while walking down 2nd Ave. We stopped in for beer and found some great choices. My husband, daughter and I don't always like the same beer but they had something for everyone. The bartenders were very nice and helped us find some good pizza after which we went back for more beer! We decided to stop in again on Sunday morning for brunch and were again treated with pleasant service and a great brunch. The omelette was especially tasty; the huevos rancheros were not the best I've had, but tasty and not over-filling. We didn't make reservations, but didn't have to wait; we arrived just after 11.

superb - great service, great beers, lovely atmosphere - prob best to book ahead as not a lot of space but is well worth it

So, first of all, whenever I am in a city traveling, and I don't know where to go, the Adjective-Animal rule comes into play. You can't go wrong when you go to one of these bars (for the most part in my life...couple of misses). This place did NOT do anything to my rule but elevate it. We sat at the downstairs bar, but know they have an upstairs one also. This is a brunch review, and the $27 bottomless also lured us there, especially given the city we were in. You could rotate between Bloody Mary, Apple Cider (special of the day), Bellini, and Mimosa during this bottomless adventure. What I DIDN'T expect at this fun place was off the hook food. That is what we got. I got the Skinny Grilled Cheese. One of the best grilled cheeses I have ever had. I even took another picture closer up for you. I almost got the buffalo chicken nachos, but my random neighbor got it, and included a pic of that. He said it was good. Wife got the brunch salad and LOVED it. They have a couple of TV's with sports on, and good energy in the music. You can have fun here just drinking, or eating. Jennifer gave us flawless service behind the bar. She was great in efficiency and personality. And, I got a T-Shirt of course, since the staff gear looked great. Definitely recommend, and see you there (next time we are in NYC).

We went to the Horny Ram this past weekend for Saturday brunch and it was absolutely incredible! I made a reservation ahead of time as it was for my bachelorette and there were 10 girls. Bjorn the manager who I had emailed with came over to Introduce himself and make sure we were all good. He also checked up on us throughout the meal! Perla our server was amazing! We did the 50$ bottomless brunch and she made sure we never went thirsty! The food was also amazing we had a lot of allergies and food restrictions and they were so accommodating! They also knew it was my bachelorette so they blasted Bruno Mars ‘I think I wanna marry you’ and brought a shot for me! It was the best brunch we’ve ever had and if I ever go back to NYC I will for sure be going there!

Not only was this a great happy hour spot with a good drink special, but the food was also phenomenal. I would love to come back just for dinner. The ambiance was also spot on. We sat outside on the 2nd floor balcony for happy hour, and it was perfect for a warm afternoon. I would also like to mention that despite having to order our food as well as our drinks at the bar since it was a Monday evening the service was phenomenal. And the bartender/waitress was so sweet!

The best!!! All the items are very good. Definitely returning here at this place very frequently in the future! 10/10 and 5 stars

Love the food and the drinks! Great place to enjoy time with friends whether it's dinner or post-dinner.

The food was okay, but was sat next to two grown men. For reference, it was me and my best friend from college who are both 21. These older men that were sat next to us were in their 40’s and would NOT leave us alone. Very uncomfortable the whole time.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is charming. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the food we had was delicious. Bottomless Bellini and Mimosa. Breakfast burrito is a favorite. Chicken and waffles is delicious.

Firstly I have to say the staff are amazing. Such a lovely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was buzzing. Fabulous food with a lot of choice.... We will definitely return. Erin, the manageress was so helpful and kind.... Thanks to all concerned.....

This is the first I’ve been to The Horny Ram. My server Olivia recommended the Big Burger. It was one of the best burgers I've had in my life. Oliva was also an amazing server. I look foreword to coming back here many times.

Came here this past Sunday for brunch and enjoyed my visit. Sat at the bar and both bartenders were very welcoming and provided great service. I had a chicken avocado wrap that was very good. Definitely will be back when in the area again.

After a long day touring Brooklyn and lower manhattan we decided to spend our evening closer to our hotel on Lexington. Our concierge recommended we hit 2nd Ave where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. We walked by this pub and found ourselves drawn in by the cozy ambience. Great service, cool tunes and good grub. Glad we stopped! The Mac n cheese is seriously delicious.

Quirky little place that doesn't look much from the outside, but it's a little gem inside. Eclectic decor and music was good and just at the right volume. We ordered 2 burgers and 1 chicken waffle sandwich and all were delicious. Great service and nice chilled atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

The four of us found another small restaurant to enjoy a pint and delicious food. The restaurant is a nicely decorated in a farm / cowboy barn motif that matches most of the food flavors (the falafel being the notable exception). For a small place they have a decent range of draft beers from NY and surrounding areas. The food arrived promptly and was neatly presented. Flavors we good without being over the top. My only complaint is volume of music in the small seating area in the back was louder than necessary. Though the music was good, we had to talk over some songs. This would become a favorite watering hole if I lived closer.

Our first night in the city we were starving after an afternoon of exploring. My husband and I both ordered a burger. Tasty but nothing too special. Good choice of beers available and enjoyed the ambiance.

great basement bar with an upstairs and friendly staff. the happy hour beers were cheap and i could catch an nfl playoff game without it being too loud or rowdy. great kind staff. I enjoyed it.

Didn't eat here but had a few drinks. Lovely pub with great atmosphere. Very welcoming. Barry the bartender deserves a special mention. Definitely we will retuen

I took 4 teenagers to The Horny Ram based on a solid recommendation and the funny name. I recommend it for an intimate/cozy feel yet a lively environment. The service was very average (Although she was pleasant, we had to track down our server a couple times) but the environment and food were very good.

Young 20s something crowd. Nice. Food is great. Try the Samon. The sauce is amazing. This company also owns a few other bars in the city and they are all pretty popular.

Everything was really good here! We had spring rolls and crab cakes as an appetizer. The spring rolls were linger, crispy and full of flavor. The crab cakes were pretty good, could have maybe used a little more seasoning. Dinner was excellent! At first we were disappointed that they were out of salmon, but that turned into a delicious discovery trying Korean steak sandwich and grilled bar steak - both were fantastic. Just two small things that we would have changed, the salad with the steak was over-dressed, which was a shame because it was tasty. Second is that the music was SO LOUD - we could barely hear each other or our sever. Speaking of servers, ours was great! Fun, fast and made out experience dining that much better. The poison ivy drink was fun - kind of like drinking an adult Capri sun. Would definitely go back!

We were searching for a place for our coworkers retirement party. It was not easy to find event space that was not only private but also affordable. Thats why we were so excited when we walked into the Horny Ram and met Kayleigh. She took us upstairs and said we could have the upstairs bar. She showed us the food choices and we were blown away by the selection and the prices. We found our place. We had to guarantee $1500 and with the tax, gratuity and event space fee it came to $1,972. We had about 37 people and I collected $55 per person. I was able to order a ton of food and give everyone a drink ticket. When I say Kayleigh cut off the bill precisely at the $1,972 she did exactly that. She was on top of it. We had fun bar music playing. We were able to decorate and bring in a cake and we had food left over. We also had access to the outdoor balcony. Because it was a Tuesday she never rushed us out. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and everyone had the best time. We will definitely be having more parties here.

This place was truly local color place in midtown. Recommended by everyone, including the doorman. Food good. Affordable and trendy.

Bit of a random choice but actually amazing burger joint and great service. Had the Big Burger which was cooked to perfection. Finished our wine on the Juliette balcony which was cool. There are probably better restaurants but please try this one 👍😎

A friend and I stopped here for some appetizers and drinks. The inside is nicely done. The drinks were great, the appetizers were okay. The service was great though-happy, friendly, attentive bartenders.

This place has a cool vibe and really unique drinks. I got the poison iv, which is served in an iv bag!! Service was great. We had a fun time here!

The family ate here on Wednesday night which unfortunately was our last night in New York otherwise we would definitely have returned. We arrived at at 1730 hrs and were seated in a booth to the rear of the bar area. There was also the option of outside dining at street level or the first floor balcony. All the staff were excellent, friendly and informative about the menu and the choice of beverages on order. It was happy hour at this time and there was a good selection of beer (draft and bottle) wines and cocktails all available at reduced prices. We order a selection on main meals all of which were excellent, well presented and good sized portions. Price wise it was excellent compared to other restaurants we had dined in and on reflection we could fault the place. If we were ever back in New York we would definitely make the effort to dine here again.

Best place we visited whilst in NYC, it’s a shame we couldn’t go back. We stopped by for a light evening meal (tacos and nachos)… both absolutely delicious and tasted authentic. Everything was reasonably priced too. We were in our element in here… Being British, we really appreciated the music vibe too… cool music, cool people and relaxing. TV’s in there were showing the basketball which pleased my husband !! Highly recommend and would be the first place we’d return to when next in the area.

Had brunch here with 5 others. Bar service and table service both excellent. Food was very good for pub fair.

Fantastic experience. Food was great, the selection of beers was good, not too overwhelming. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

We intended eating to a place opposite called The Smith but it was full. Tried this place and not dissapointed. It's a lively bar with an upstairs and a small terrace. Decent food and a great environment.

Had some great food here on our recent stay in NYC, everything was hot and delicious. Staff were friendly and the lunch service was quick.

Walked into this place and the vibe was great. Grabbed a beer which made me stay for more. The cocktails the made We’re unbelievable. Deffo recommending will always return

Really nice, small pub on the East side. Good selection of beers, tasty pub food combined with enthusiastic & friendly service. Great option if you're in the area.

The food was good but not outstanding, but the service was extremely good. Salvador, in particular was extremely nice.

Went there for lunch with my friends on presidents day food was 10/10 customer service 10/10 drinks 8/10 and music wasn't it for me. Overall would definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I visited this eatery on Thursday. I had never heard of them before. At first the menu looked very limited, but we settled on their big burger which was very delicious. Coming with thick cut fries. and pickle we had an enjoyable meal. Would I go back? Yes BTw we dined outside on a nice autumn evening.

My wife and I were killing some time before the train back to Boston and popped into this place. We were caught by the name but this place is really interesting from a design perspective. The white brick interior is different and the decor is modern and well lit and open. But the purpose of this review is to tell all of you that if you're lucky enough to have Jackie as your server, you're fortunate. She and I talked NBA basketball like team executives. She was so well-versed on Hoops that my wife was blown away. In less than an hour, and a few nice local brews on tap, we chatted about basketball, Boston, the South, snow, and just about everything else. What a cool lady. It isn't that often that you get a bartender to engage you like Jackie did with us. She is the best, and I couldn't miss a chance to post this on Trip Advisor. D & M

In town for the weekend and a special event so we had to make time for a #BoozyBrunch the following day! You already know how I do, so let us begin! This is the sister restaurant to "The Flying Cock" which I reviewed a while ago and raved about, so I had high hopes for this place. I was right! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set in midtown right on 2nd Avenue is this beautiful gem. It's a 2-floor establishment with a nice upper-level outdoor seating area for those lovely warm days. We sat up on that top floor, but in a booth for 6 inside. We got walked up so fast that most of the decor breezed by me, but it was SO BUSY! It was a great, lively atmosphere and not too loud at all even though there was an important soccer game on, though I don't think anyone was really paying attention to it... except for 1 table. Lol. They left before the game ended so they obviously didn't care that much... or their 90 minutes was up! Hmm... Service: EXCELLENT. I can't remember the young lady's name, but she was awesome. She had a mild accent, but I can't remember from where since it's been about 2 months since I've been here. Lol, my bad. She put up with our party of 6's shenanigans, kept the bottomless mimosas flowing and made some great menu recommendations. Food: We're obviously here for the bottomless mimosas, bellinis and Bloody Marys featured during their Saturday/Sunday brunch from 11:00am to 4:00pm. You get 90 minutes to drink all that you can (responsibly) and to have some fun! I wanted to have something healthier so I chose their Grilled Chicken Avocado Wrap. It consists of romaine lettuce, tomato, kidney beans, red onion, chipotle vinaigrette all wrapped in a flour tortilla. It comes served with breakfast potatoes, but I opted for a nice salad since I'm on a health kick! Matter of fact, a lifestyle change! It was DELICIOUS. I would totally get it again and I wasn't left with the guilt of eating a massive, greasy burger served with an assortment of carbohydrates. Value: 90 minutes of pure mimosa bliss will run you a measly $19.00 which will also include bellinis and Bloody Marys. My wrap was $15.00. Pretty good value in my opinion! Naturally, drinking isn't cheap, but that goes for any restaurant, so if you want to just come eat, it won't hurt your pockets nearly as bad. I loved this place and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a good place to turn up with some friends and get some day-drinking going!

I loved it here! The bar area was very interesting. The waitress was not so pleasant and was busy in watching the match. She overcharged us for a drink. But I didn't mind as everything else was just great!

As mentioned above, this new addition is one of better options for a drink/snack in this midtown area known for cheesy bars and not so good restaurants. There are bars on both level with a variety of dradt beers and a balcony with few tables

Stopped in for lunch the other day. Had the big burger. Wow! It was excellent! Others had the smash burger and chicken salad. Everything was great! Staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome!

This was a great selection for brunch in the city. My boyfriend and I came here for a lunch date during our weekend getaway. I initially picked this place because I was looking for brunch in the city. When we got to the restaurant, it was a little hectic because it was quite busy. It took a bit for them to seat us even with a reservation but honestly, the food was worth the wait. I ordered the pancake burger and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. Both were so good! The meat was well flavored and it was just a great brunch meal. The wedges were also perfectly cooked. Nice and crispy on the outside but still soft inside. I would definitely recommend a reservation if you're coming here since it seems to be very popular.

We got here a few minutes before 11 am when they were opening on a Sunday. The line was going down the street. We were lucky to get in and had a great meal. Some of the dishes we tried were: Pork belly croque, grilled cheese, breakfast burrito and the chicken with waffles. We all were very happy with our choices. It was still very crowded when we left. Enjoy!

I've been here for lunch a few times with co-workers and then came last night for dinner. The food here is always really good, service is good and prices are decent. They do have a happy hour 4-7 that knocks a few bucks off the drinks. Most recently for lunch - sitting at the bar - I had the lime salad but replaced the chicken with shrimp. For dinner we ordered a ton of apps - it was 4 girls. Fish tacos- very good, 2 to a plate. Brussell Sprouts - HOLY MOLY AMAZING, spicy cauliflower - good but as it explains it's real spicy. Kale and Artichoke dip - good with huge pieces of bread - I wonder if you can order veggies as a side instead? Fried Pickles - good, in spears which I have never seen before. Jalapeno poppers - not our favorite, they were kind of doughy and big with not a lot of cheese. Chicken nachos - sans buffalo sauce, these were great. The food is consistently good here. The only weird thing that happened was that we were seated at a tiny tiny table because they said the larger booths were for 6 people or more - but then after about 10 minutes of us sitting at this small table a party of 3 were seated at the large booth - it was annoying but that being said I will come back - I'll just sit at the bar instead.

Really enjoyed brunch here this weekend. Plenty of space but if you'd like to sit outside in the upstairs terrace be there when they open. They have a wide variety of good food for brunch and then bottomless drinks are a good deal if you plan to stay for a bit.
Excellent! Hidden Gem..!
Met my stepson for brunch at this hidden gem of a place. Walked from 50th and 8th Avenue took about 30 minutes. Not easy to find as the sign was very high up and the front of the place looked like it needed a lick of paint. However, couldn’t fault the warm welcome and great food. Drunken bec for brunch -bacon, egg, syrup in a ring doughnut and fries -plenty of it. The mimosas were lovely and washed the oysters down a treat. We’re lucky enough to get t shirts too. Later visited the flying cock the sister/brother of this place. Highly recommend a visit to both.
