We made a random stop in here while in Manhattan for the day. We were just looking for a beer and an app, and this place did us right on both. The chicken quesadilla and the fries with gravy were very good. The beer selection was adequate and the service at the bar was excellent.

We came for lunch and beer and to watch the Yankee opening home game. Great chili and burgers. Cold beer, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back!

Went with my twenty something son to catch some beers, friendly food and watch the March Madness. The bar was small and noisy with an adequate seating area in the back. Decent beer menu as well. The food for an Irish Pun was outstanding. Everything came to the table hot and fresh. We enjoyed an assortment of appetizers, salad and sliders. Will definitely go back. Pricing very affordable especially during Happy hour.

Been here before but just getting around to reviewing this place. Popped in this week with two friends for a few holiday beers and grub. This pub is small but cozy, and if you get there early enough to saddle up at the bar, make friends with the Irish bartenders - they will buyback from time to time. Happy hour specials run through 7 PM, so we took advantage of the $5 well drinks. They also offer $4 drafts. The food is better than average pub food. I dug into a plate of disco fries. The crowd is usually a mix of locals and folks who work in Midtown. There's music and sports on TV. I recommend stopping in and toasting a few with friends or work colleagues!

It was nice to have a beer and some food in this great pub. There is choice for draft and bottled beers and you can order nice plates of food.

Went to this bar when we arrived for a drink and was pleasantly pleased with it. Good atmosphere and bar staff. Drinks were average price, but good measures. Quite busy, but the bar staff were always quick.

We tried the cocktail happy hour and then had pitchers of the Junction Ale - the ale was tasty and went down a treat. We ate here twice - wholesome pub grub, but great service and food plentiful and yummy. Staff were attentive and the sports channels were not too intrusive for us girls. They have live music every friday and saturday nights too.

If you are suffering a jet lag like me, you are looking for a bar with a bit of atmosphere (i.e. More than 15 people) after 11pm mid week near Grand Central. Not classy joint - but plenty of good beers on tap and a full bar. Plenty of locals and a few tourists. Overall a great place to hang and absorb a few drops to give you - the hearty traveler - a good nights rest. Enjoy!

This Pub doesnt look mucg from the outside and whilst I was visiting the place is covered in hoardings and scaffolding, but so glad I visited! Great little Irish pub with superb staff which were helpful and friendly. The food menu is basic but what I did eat was better then some of the restaurants I went into. Really worth giving a visit!

Located on Lexington Avenue, around the corner from the Pod 39 Hotel (See Review), the Junction is a cozy and rustic Irish pub that offers a great atmosphere, hearty pub grub and an excellent pint of Guinness - smooth, creamy and tasty. Add to this efficient and quick table service and you have a place to stay on a cold rainy January night.

Small, cosy, friendly and with a very good range of specialist beers. Also remarkably (and dangerously) close to where we were staying. It was full of business people having a drink and a chat on the way home from work, friends meeting and visitors like us. Well worth a visit. And then a few more.

So i'll start by saying that this a a bar that wont bring you any classy mixed drinks you'll get a Jack and coke or a Vodka Cranberry... with that exception they have good beers on draft and good whisky on the shelfs! The staff is the golden touch Niel& Juile are the best along with Marie and paula they bring a family feel to the place to eat you can never go wrong with the wings or the nachos or the disco fries but fair warning you might need to find a bathroom right after lol enjoy and drink responsably!

Variety of beers, pretty good food and very nice stuff. Great place for watching a game and socializing

Popped in after a long first day in new York. After walking 30k steps we where knacked. This place was a haven. Warm friendly and very well priced. Service was the best we have had so far in new york. The xmas decoration made you feel like you are at home. Fantastic pub and great food. Very well priced and a joy to go in.

Nice little Irish pub in an area that they are fare and few between. Good drinks & drought beers. They have a food menu but the kitchen closes early so we never got to eat. Kitchen closes at 10 on a Sat. Not sure why....

Found this spot while wandering around Midtown-East! Not my usual spot, the drop in was totally spontaneous. The bartender (silver hair dude) completely won me over. He assured our drinks were to our liking (actually LOVING!!) with awesome energy and patience! Thanks dude! I'd totally recommend this dive bar for a relaxed, care-free, and embracive night on the town!

We walked past this bar several times before deciding to give it a try - and immediately wished we'd gone in sooner! It's a cosy pub that was nicely decorated for Christmas. An excellent selection of draft and bottled beers and good food (great fish & chips!), all served by friendly staff. Comes alive in the evenings! Definitely worth a visit.

Late at night, hungry and wanted to watch the NCAA finals without all the noise. We hit the jackpot on all counts with this neighborhood joint. Our hotel was a few doors away and we stumbled in here. Grabbed a burger and a beer, decent crowd not too loud....most people seemed to know one another...it felt like cheers!

This spot has really close by the hotel I was staying so I decided to go must because of it... outside, tipical pub entrance. Inside, 100% bar. Didn't have the chance to try their food - it was kind of late and the kitchen was already closed - but the house draft beer is really good and have nice price ($4 / pint). They have lots of other kind too So, if you're looking for somewhere to close the night and have good beer before sleep, you should step by!

A great laid back bar in Midtown East that has amazing wings and tots. The buckets of beer are perfectly priced and the wait staff is very friendly and fun with talk with.

We found this bar during our stay by accident, as we wanted somewhere to get out of the cold. Really welcoming place, very accommodating. Happy hour is great, ended up popping in most days. Definitely a place to remember.

We stopped off here for drinks as we were staying at a hotel just down the road, great little bar, great service.

We were staying at a local hotel and popped in here on our 1st night and preceded to go in each night (and day) of our our holiday. So friendly, we were given free pints one night to try. Highly recommend it!

We found this amazing place by chance whilst wondering the district. It was really busy inside but had a great atmosphere. We had a table through the back which was nice as it was away from the busy bar area. Food was good decent price too!

After a long day of travel, the Junction was recommended to us by the concierge at the Pod 39 around the corner. Our table was in the back room away from the bar area so not as noisy, conversation was still a little difficult but it was a pub on a busy night so it was expected. We shared a salad with grilled chicken and a cubano sandwich. House wine was on special so overall it was a good value

Came here on our first night after researching any bars near our hotel on Lexington. It was happy hour so a pint was 4 dollars instead of 7. Place was packed and had a great atmosphere. Although we didn’t eat here, the food being served looked huge and delicious . Would definitely return

The Junction has a good selection of draft beers and also has an impressive cocktail menu. There is good bar food and the service is super friendly and accommodating. It is definitely worth going there during happy hour because the beers are really cheap then. We saw mostly locals there, which we really liked because it means you can have a good drink away from the tourist crowds.

The boys had burgers and chips, very good. I ordered a Goat cheese salad even though I thought it was a bit pricey being the same price as the burger. But when the salad arrived I was delighted. A large bowl of mixed lettuce leaves and pickled beetroot with lots of cheese crumbled over the salad. A most generous amount of walnuts and cranberries was added, with something I this was a Honey/light mustard dressing. Yummy. I had problems eating all of it, so generous was the portion.

Stopped in for a night-cap. Full of awful loud rude people. The staff were really quite nice, problem was the other clientele - though perhaps it was because we were coming in sober. Guinness was great. $8/pint. Once we fought through the scrum at the door, we found a quiet corner. We won't bother going back. If you're stuck, might be worth stopping in. Don't seek it out.

Brilliant pub filled with locals. Excellent waiting staff serving great drinks, I have to mention there own brewed beer, and lovely food, I recommend the Nachos Grande to share. Good happy hour prices. Go here you will not be disappointed.

I was in NYC on a quick weekend getaway and stopped in at this hidden gem. They have Karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. It was NFL playoffs so it was packed however I managed to get a table in the back room. I was there for happy hour and dinner. Food and drinks were great. The start is this bar is the staff. They are extremely friendly and really make you feel like part of the neighborhood. Shout out to Emma who was simple amazing. Karaoke was a blast. I highly recommend the junction if you are in NYC.

Great food , in fact delicious food, great service, very friendly staff made us very welcome, good selection of beers, so good visited twice, tried different dishes both times great, so good bought tshirts, well worth a visit, we also had a great santa

Well preserved old pub, with beautiful decorative panels. Heavily decorated for the holidays. :) Standard pub fare, very well prepared. Drink prices a little high for a pub.

Nice place with good selection of beers. Nice atmosphere but personal is unfriendly and rude. Not coming back.

Had a couple of nights at this bar drinking & eating it is a great place with good food & the friendliest staff in New York, just wish it was my local

Saw reviews of this bar before we travelled and put it on our list. After a visit to Grand Central Station we took the 5minute walk to The Junction and so glad we did. Lovely friendly bar staff, great food and drinks, good bar with a good vibe and very reasonably priced

I visited December 5,2014 - I found the staff warm and inviting - the bartendress - tall dark haired was wonderful - the waitress was kind and professional as well - the patrons were no different than any other Irish bar wanting a drink and warm food - all enjoying the ambiance, drink, and food We returned the following night - completely different staff - silver haired bar tender was pleasant as was the blonde waitress - as far as the short dark haired woman holding down the bar stool at the end of the bar - unfortunately - I believe she left her ovaries at home and switched them with a set of testicles - she left a lot to be desired as far as hospitality - however - the other staff made up for this one flaw - If you want a warm cozy Irish pub - this is perfect -

Great find this pub, loved the friendly staff, friendly people. Great range of drinks and food and wonderful company, thoroughly recommend!

Only in NYC 3 nights but busted here 2 nights after discovering it , really a hidden gem. Great atmosphere friendly welcoming service and the food outstanding. If in close to Lexington Avenue would thoroughly recommend a visit at any time of day tho we visited at night after sightseeing all day

Great “neighborhood” bar. Had noticed that The Junction was just a short walk from our hotel and put it on our list as a place to stop in for a nightcap after walking back from a show that night. It was a good choice, as it had a cozy neighborhood bar feel. It wasn’t very crowded for a Friday night around 9, but that was okay for us as we were trying to wind down. Found a couple of stools at the bar and the bartender told us about the Friday night special which included a 10” Margherita pizza with with one of certain beers (Bud Light, Junction Ale, or Junction Lager). I chose the Ale which was pretty good. The pizza that was delivered wasn’t a Margherita pizza, just cheese and we didn’t realize it until we were each on our second slice. That didn’t bother us though as it was a pretty good cheese pizza. We enjoyed some good conversation with the Irish bartenders as we finished our late night beer and pizza. We didn’t get past the bar, but it looked like it had a nice little restaurant seating area just beyond. We enjoyed our stop that night, and would recommend The Junction to others that might be staying in the Grand Central Midtown area.

Nice place with good atmosphere but extremly rude staff. Didnt understand the waitress and we end up with an argument about the payment, and the tip...

On a very busy early evening we were squeezed in by an amazing friendly waitress, the service was excellent and as it was happy hour the drinks very reasonably priced. I would of given a higher rating but the main dishes we ordered were very small, unfortunately after spending a lot of money we left still hungry.

We ate here twice and had several drinks as well. It's a really friendly bar with great staff and a real mix of customers. The food is excellent with good size portions - cannot fault it - thoroughly recommended.

We were staying just up the road at the Affinia Shelburne and had seen reviews on trip advisor. We were pleasantly surprised. Great pub food and loved the flags on the roof - lots of tv screens for watching sports. All in all a great bar. Would go there again.

Stumbled on this lovely bar whilst out shopping as you do in this great city. Lovely clean place with excellent staff. We had a meal in here twice and it was very good and cheap. If i lived in this city then this bar would be my local.

Just strolled in to this bar nice young vibrant clientele plenty of Tvs for the football staff are helpful and chatty food is pretty good good chicken wings good burger worth a pit stop 🛑

Small local bar opposite Grand central station with larger dining area to the rear. Friendly to locals & tourists. Have great value meal deals most days we had the pizza and the burger deals. Couldn't fault either; good portions, very fairly priced for the area.

The bartenders are great. The beer selection is good and the mixed drinks look good. This is your typical bar and can get loud and lively. The food looked ok, I only had the tater tots, which of course were good, but you can't really screw that up.

We were staying on 39th St E and Lexington and were looking for a spot to have a bite to eat mid afternoon. This was an excellent choice, our group had the burger, the chicken pesto panini, a wrap and the nachos, all were excellent! The service was perfect and welcoming. We were here with friends in our mid twenties.

Cozy Irish Pub/Sports Bar with a down to earth and welcoming atmosphere which I found quite remarkable given its location in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station. This is a fantastic place to have a burger and a beer and hang out with friends or watch a game.

Food was excellent, we had lunch here with a group of friends. Service was really good and very friendly. Highly recommend this great bar.

A great New York bar. Guys behind the counter are great and look after you real good. Love the wings and burgers. Location is good for locals like me and tourists taking trains or just looking around.

We originally came here looking for something to eat later at night as our hotel was located nearby. But the place turned out to be so nice, we came here 3 times in 5 days! First of all, great atmosphere! Plenty of people, great music, screens showing sports etc. and great quick service. The food is simple but tasty (great fries!), the happy hour makes the drink prices look more than interesting. I definitely recommend.

Came in for a quick bite and sat at the bar. Priced well for happy hour drinks and everything from the food to the service was exceptional! It did get very packed around 5, so be mindful of that. I'll definitely be returning.

A nice place with uncomplicated food that tastes great. A perfect place to just relax and enjoy. Happy hour helps as everything is so expensive in this city

Stumbled across this bar as it was a short walk from our hotel. Obviously so many bars in the area but when we're back in the city we'll definitely be coming here again, just gutting we only found it on our last day. Had a couple burgers and they were so good, very fresh, cooked perfectly, juicy and tasty. Service was great and there was a real friendly vibe about the place. Was here at the beginning of October and the Halloween decorations were amazing!

During our recent stay we had the fortune to stumble onto The Junction after meeting friends and looking for somewhere to have a drink. After a while we liked the atmosphere so much we decided to have dinner here.We were served by a lovely Irish girl who was chatty and helpful,I regret we didnt get her name.Between us we had servings of chicken wings, chicken ceaser salad and junction burgers, all delicious and no long waiting time for our meals. The meals were well priced and ample. The beer was cold and freeflowing. Fully recommend The Junction for a great meal in a homely atmosphere

We went here a few times on our recent trip to NYC as it was really close to our hotel so a great spot to end the day. Prices are pretty average but they do their own beer which is really good and staff are really friendly! Plenty of different sports on if you're into it but otherwise just a really cool place to go. Pretty relaxed and easy to chill out. We did eat here one night and the food was good - pretty cheap and seem to have plenty of nightly offers on, do good cocktails and a happy hour too if you catch it.

We are three old mates from Scotland, who had arrived in the Big Apple, from Washington, en route to Boston. We arrived at our "apartment" booked through a reputable company, only to find we had been conned. We had passed the Junction on the way to our apartment, so decided to base ourselves there to sort out somewhere to stay. Rachel, our waitress, who turned out to be the owner, took us under her wing, and could not have been more welcoming or helpful. What a great pub, and we found a bed for our stay, and returned to the pub a couple of days later, to let Rachel know that we had a great stay in New York. Rachel gave us a great welcome, and a great send off. She really restored our faith in human nature. Thanks again Rachel.

Always pop into the Junction while staying at the Shelburne up the street. Consider it our "local" as we go in there everyday !! Great staff (Niall is an amazing bartender) and customers. Been going here for 8 years now when in NYC and love it. Food very good and you just can't go wrong with this place.

Used this place several times for drinks & late night snacks!! Really buzzy feel, always busy. Staff are very friendly, and efficient. Good value too

Had dinner here on Friday evening. The pub was filled with locals so took that to be a good sign. Food was tasty and arrived promptly. Service was great. Fab find!

Watched the McGregor UFC fight here with pals, it was busy but no problem to the staff. Its small and you might walk past. Staying in the Affina it was our Local in NYC.

This was a really fun place to stop and have some drinks. Actually, I think it would be fine for lunch or dinner, as well. The drink specials looked really nice with very good prices. Some of us had those and other ordered regular drinks. Everyone had a good time, which was enhanced by the great service offered by Marle.

Went in here to pass an hour or two prior to heading for the airport. Welcoming place, good pints of draft Stella Artois and great atmosphere. Keen prices too. Highly recommend to all.

Really good pizzas, nachos and beer. Total good mood and crowded pub, which was decorated up for halloween. Also our two girls at 18 and 20 were excited.

I have always liked the bars in Hells Kitchen, and still do but the Junction is the best. I have spent time there, recently and the people make it such a great place to hang out. It's a local's bar, with tourists stopping by every now and then and the local's seem genuinely interested in you and want you to have a good time. A couple of them remembered me, from last year, which shows they do take an interest. Service is excellent, particularly Roisin, who is a Northern Irish girl, with a great attitude. Beer selection is also good, and the food has been excellent, when I have eaten. I hope to return to New York and will definitely be back here, if I do return.

Fantastic neighbourhood bar to go to Happy Hour at. We stumbled in out of the cold for a quick drink. Their happy hour starts at 11am and runs until 7pm. At 4pm it was pretty quiet. The service was great. A glass of good Argentinian Malbec in a big pour for $5 was a bargain. The crowd grew post 5pm. It was a nice mixed crowd from 20 somethings through 60+ somethings. All cheerful. Didn't try the food but I suspect it was good.

Just down from the Shelburne Hotel, found this sports bar. Nice atmosphere, good food and beer. Returned as the food was good and the beer was cheaper (happy hour - drink what's recommended).

I had the special of Salmon on rice with veg. The Salmon was overdone and dry. The rice was hot but the vegs were cold. The service was slow and so were the bar staff. They were a little disinterested. Shame as the ball game was on...

We went here because we were staying across the road. It was a great atmosphere and generally a really nice bar. My daughter went with her friend and stayed late and the barman furnished them with a few complimentary shots. We Ate there a couple of times and they do a great burger, fries, onion rings etc. there was 5 of us and we all enjoyed it. the bar staff were always attentive and friendly. I would definitely go again.

Not a fancy place by any stretch but the service and the food is exceptional. We had a great waitress who's name i can't remember but she was Irish and just a real treat.

The Junction was over the road from our hotel, we visited it often, The service was great and we liked the music it played. They had a good choice of beers and a favorite was Shock Top! You should try this if you go. The atmosphere was friendly and there was always some locals in which added to the experience. I would certainly recommend this pub.

Located on 39 and Lex. Owned by Irish who made this place popular because of high level of their work. Went there couple hundred times. Good food, friendly people around, many beers.

I stayed in a hotel nearby and often passed without calling in - on the last night my wife and I called in on spec just for a change - it was the best night we had in New York . The atmosphere and staff were fantastic everything is priced reasonably and the quality of the food and service is fantastic - I could not recommend this place enough and it is very popular with the locals so you get some good tips on what to visit and where to go - Our only regret was that we did not go in on the first night

Stayed in the Shelburne and this was our local, long happy hours, sports on TV and friendly staff if you hit them on a good day, tipping became a problem, bar man pissed if he didn't get a good enough tip, but then why should I if I wasn't happy with the service, stay on top and earn your tip, good quality food, Avoid 5-7pm when all the locals tend to storm the place, you can't get i. And it's a squeeze

We Happened across the bar by mistake. Great atmosphere and staff . A good selection of beers was on offer! Place was nice and busy with a great buzz about it

Great food we had Shepherds Pie, chicken breast, burgers...all excellent. Dinner and drinks for four cost $80. The blonde waitress Sarah is so warm, friendly and helpful. She was born and breed in Hong Kong. She looked after us a treat. As a family we could not fault. Thanks guys we will return.

I walked by and was attracted by the nice, unique decor of this sports bar, so I stopped by, but just for lunch. The burger was perfectly grilled medium rare as requested. Service was efficient and friendly. I like it.

Burgers were excellent, the staff is really nice. Ambiance is so cool with good playlist, I recommand if you are in this area!

We stayed in a hotel just over the street from the Junction. It became our local. Happy hour 11am to 7 pm. We popped in after a day's sight seeing and had good beer for $4 a pint. They have a good selection of beers. The food was good. I can recommend the chicken entree as it comes with veg, something lacking in a lot of eateries in NY. They coped with my wife's food allergy fine. Every time we went in the staff were very friendly so not sure about other reviews below. Plays a good selection of music rock/80's. Can get noisy once full. Worth a visit if staying locally.

In the center of NY, a perfect option to dine on an American-style burger with good beers. Friendly service and more than reasonable prices for NY. They have happy hour and the place has its charm.

We visited here last week end of may 2014.welcoming atmosphere.nice wine.irish bar man very entertaining.

While sightseeing in New York City I came across the Junction Bar and Restaurant just off 42st at Lexington ave. Just dropped in for refreshments but was pleasantly surprised. Not only by the warm welcome and service but the staff were very helpful on advise for the surrounding areas with reference to sightseeing. The real surprise was the food it was excellent I could not believe the flavors and textures in the dish I ordered. I tried the chicken pasta dish and could have eat a bucket full, it could have come from a top class restaurant it was delicious. The portions were large and reasonably priced as was the refreshments. The Junction is a gem that I can honestly say is missed out by travel guides. I cant recommend the Junction enough do try it out you wont be disappointed.

Pub near Grand Central with good friendly service and neighbourhood feel. Monday trivia quiz was fun but not intrusive if you weren't involved.

Needed a quick bite to eat with the family and came across the Junction. It's a lovely place, the decor reminds me of visiting family in Ireland and drinking in the many bars in Dublin. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The food was lovely and was a the right size portions. Great pub and place to grab a quick bite.

The bartender at our hotel recommended this bar for one last drink. The Halloween decorations were theatre quality. The friendly patrons were upstaged only by the extremely rude bartenders.

This pub really aims to please. Three sections offer different noisomenter ratings; the front an 8.5, the middle about a 6, the back, 5-8 depending on the crowd, like at Beer Pong night. Burgers, pork chops, fish dishes, salads were all well prepared and well seasoned. The tender pork chops were a great surprise in a tasty sauce, the jasmine rice with the mahi-mahi was delicate. Mixed vegetables were fresh not the peas and carrots variety. I love pub food, and this is at the top of any I've tasted. Wine selections by the glass were very good. If you are into gourmet beer, it will not disappoint. In a recent 12 day stay in NY, I ate here more than once. Leave room for dessert, Try to get the raspberry sauce on your ice cream.

Love this place. Came here by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of TV's and they got em all set up for different games. Our waitress hooked us up with Buffalo-Pittsburgh as we requested. Food was decent and I enjoyed their beer menu. As a visitor, I felt welcomed at this non-touristy place.

Ah jeez this is a pick up joint or at least it was last year. Thursdays the day. Go round the corner to Salvation Tacos for better drinks if not the best tacos in NYC. at least I hope not.

We went in October, so The Junction had some cool Halloween decorations up. I wasn't super impressed with their happy hour options, which is usually the best part about going to a bar in the Murray Hill area. There were only three beer options, bud light and two of their own beers, which I wasn't a fan of. My friend had the tater tots and said they were really good. We sat in the back room, which was quiet, so if you're looking for more of a livelier vibe, I would sit up front. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus.

I stopped in here during a work trip. I ate at another place the night before, so decided to try a different pub in the area. The beer selection was good for a bar it's size, plus they had free wifi. Great staff. I ordered a turkey burger, which was so-so. Had I ordered regular bar food, it probably would have been better. That's what happens when to try to eat "healthy" at a bar...:)

Visited this bar more than once during our stay over Christmas in NYC. No matter what time of day we called in always had a nice buzz full of locals. Friendly helpful staff and good menu. One of the most welcoming atmospheric bars in New York we visited.

It was great to find this gem in NYC, an eatery that shows genuine interest in the costumer. Lovely food and great happy hour prices. Would recommend.

We visited three times while on a weeks holiday over the new year. Food was very good and the staff were very friendly. He had a great New Year's Eve and it's open until 4am.

It was our last day in New York. We called in here as it stood out and the day before was so busy we could barely see inside! My partner ordered a burger and I ordered some buffalo chicken dish with a side order of 'disco fries' to share. The disco fries were in fact chips and gravy but with cheese on top. Now I find that American cheese is like cheese slices, you know the plastic ones? Being a Lancashire lass I couldn't resist a bit of chips and gravy but it just didn't work I'm afraid. I think it was the plastic cheese? In any case my buffalo chicken nearly blow my mouth away, was far too firey for me and coupled with exhaustion I didn't end up eating very much. Bit deflating for the last day really. My partner ate his burger but it wasn't anything to write home about either apparently. The lager was decent though.

Stayed in the Affinia and this was our local, long, long happy hours, sports on TV and super friendly staff, with good quality food, Adrian in particular is worth a mention.

We just had many $4 Bud Lights here during their extended happy hour, so I can't comment on the food. Great service...thanks Adrian! Even got a round on the house. I will return!

Old time bar. Yes when I say bar it's more like a pub for guy's and friends to meet and relax. No fancy stuff. Treat the barmen right and they could be very nice to you in return. At least that was my experience.

Loved this bar - live music, good amount of seating, great vibe. The Bartenders were very friendly as well.

Hubby and me called in this great little bar while staying in Murray Hill. Its friendly with a great choice of spirits, beers etc. It also serves food, which we didn't try but looked fab. We will definitely return to this bar on our return to NYC really soon.

We found out this is where Mississippi State University alumni living in the city go for game days. We loved seeing people from the south and watching the game! Tina the server for our backroom group was amazing!!! Hope to go back soon the food was really good also!

Fun place to watch sports and drink with the locals! Our waitress was awesome and staff very friendly! Wings were great!

Junction has all a good pub needs. Classic Rock, cheerful efficient staff, very good pub food, and their own draft beer. Loved it - definitely my 'Local' for Midtown

In town for business, I stopped in because it was close to my hotel. I ordered a burger and fries to go. I also had a few shots and a draft while I waited and watched the end of a basketball game at the bar. The bartender was good and the food was delicious. I honestly can't review the dining room, servers, restrooms, etc. because I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Good deal at happy hour with $4 pints, the food was also a fair price and very tasty. Wish we had found this bar earlier in our trip.

Stopped in for a quick visit and to watch the Penn State game. Ample seating. Great truffle tots, buffalo cauliflower, mozz sticks. Great Christmas decorations

This is a BRILLIANT pub! Watched the recent England v Italy game here. Barmaid Diane was happy to put the game on for us and kept us topped up with drinks throughout. I highly recommend the pumpkin spice ale if it’s available. We both had burger and chips too which was excellent. Highly recommend for English tourists but anyone would enjoy it here.

My brother ordered the Pub Sandwich and he was completely happy with the selection. I ordered the Veggie Burger. It was fantastic. I never had a burger with cranberries in it but it went phenomenal with the burger. Not to mention that the fries were great too. The atmosphere is chill with great service. Few TV's in there as well. It definitely ended our long trip satisfying.

We stayed at the Shelburne and stopped in for a cocktail and met Diana - she is fantastic! She was personable and made us some amazing drinks. The sangria is really good. We even asked her what her scheduel was so we could come back and see her and we did the next day. We love this little pub and the staff. Thanks, Diana!

This was my 2nd visit to New York as, as like last time, I stayed at Hotel 31, which is only short walk from this place, and I remembered it from the last time. It's very friendly, with great bar staff, especially Roisin, who is a bit crazy. The food is really good and, like the beer, reasonably priced. It was always pretty full and attracts people from all over the world and all walks of life. A nice place to spend a couple of hours.

Places like this are what travellers hope to find - good bar service and food with sports tv if needed - one of my favourites

Awesome sports bar, wide range of drinks available, we had the house ale was delicious. Amazing food with lots on the menu, good price and very tasty especially the junction burger! With basketball on the screens, people all around having a good time with friends and family? It was a very cool atmosphere. Was busy but we’d reserved a table in advance and the staff were amazing. So friendly and attentive, drinks came out straight away and food not far behind. Offered refills on drinks when glasses were empty and felt properly looked after. Family were very impressed and we will be returning. Thank you!

Loved the pub... came back a couple times on our weekend in the city. Great food served with a smile and a story! Nice beer selection with a knowledgable server... really enjoyed it!

Found it since it was next to the hotel, this small bar offers a great buzz, nice drinks and lively atmosphere. Sports fans can see different games on TV as there are about many of them. They also serve food, cheeseburger was very tasty
Starsky and Hutch!
Well, this sports bar reeked of Starsky and Hutch. Clean, and very welcoming, I was expecting Huggy Bear to turn up! The chicken wings in buffalo wing sauce, fries and salad were absolutely scrumptious. Our Irish waitress Rosie was just gorgeous. Had to hug her good bye. She made us feel so 'at home'. If you are looking for a sports bar away from the noise of midtown then this is the place for you.
