Fantastic food and the service was impeccable . The hostess marylyn was very warm . Felt like home . Very good breakfast menu.

The bar has a fabulous view, with Carnegie Hall and the Russian Tea Room across the street. But it's the bar service that's a real stand out. Alex is a great bartender, and remembered us from our trip 9 months before! Our flight was late and we had only 30 minutes to eat something before our show. He got us all set up with a lovely charcuterie board for two and fabulous drinks. We were out the door with 5 minutes to spare. We had breakfast at the restaurant the next morning, but although the chairs we sat in were huge, they had no back support, and were really hard to move to get close enough to the table. The seating is variably configured in the small restaurant area, with some areas set up more as sofas and coffee tables, and other areas more traditional. Wasn't sure how it was going for the people trying to eat from the coffee table. It looked a little awkward to me. I guess they were trying to evoke the "living room setting" concept. Maybe that's why most people eat in dining rooms. The food was good but pricey. Welcome to NYC. P.S. The hotel is immaculate, with first class housekeeping services. The location can't be beat. You can walk to Times Square and Lincoln Center, if you give yourself a couple of extra minutes.

Very nice staff and delicious food. Was never too crowded when I went. Everything I had on the breakfast menu during my stay (lobster scramble, omelet, waffles, pastries) was tasty.

Great location for a breakfast meeting, and because it is on the 2nd floor, the tourists do not know that it exists! Great food here, but the service seemed a bit distracted on this visit. Will go again.

Good selection of food for breakfast. However, it's not consistent. One day, my hash browns side order had 2 slices and both were soggy. The next day, it came with 3 slices and all were perfectly crispy! Good place for drinks pre and post dinner. Service was variable and I had to ask for my sparkling water to be topped up ($7). Excellent lobster omelette and the evening bartender was very good. My Japanese breakfast salmon was overcooked.

From the moment we arrived we had a delightful time. The location of this hotel is supurb and we had no problems getting to where we needed to be quickly. The service was fabulous and we will stay there again. The Living Room was some of the best food we had.

The Living Room on the 2nd floor of the Park Hyatt is designed to emulate the residential feel of a NYC apartment. The decor is welcoming, the staff is attentive, and the food and drinks are on point. The only thing lacking is the view. The upper floors of the building are exclusively luxury residential condos valued as much as $100M. The Park Hyatt only occupies the first 25 floors, and the Living Room is on the 3rd floor with a view of 57th Street, the Russian Tea Room and Carnegie Hall.

This restaurant is woefully understaffed and should not have reopened. At 1030 on a Sunday there was no Avocado toast or, wait for it, bread! The only option was a baguette, no bagel, nothing. The prices were laughably high and the menu so limited that it should not be considered a full service restaurant. If we hadn't had breakfast included with our room rate, I would have demanded a refund. Total joke.

Great menu, both food and cocktails - pricey but here to splurge on this family holiday getaway to New York City. Awesome eatery in the place we are staying
Disappointed
I have a beautiful dinner in May , the pan seared scallops super outstanding, so I returned two more times to try , but totally disappointed, I decided to try one more time in August, even thought I gave out the detail information how to cook this dish right , but don’t think they really pay attention, so the dish came out shock me , the worst I have ever seen in big Apple , then sent it back to the kitchen to recooked, more horrible when it out again , see the pic below, if u are paying a main course $37 like this , you wanted to cry bog , no guts to come back again! There are lots good options in big Apple , please don’t forget! Hope the manager really listens to what customer need, this is a good way to run business, thank u!
