love this place

By Grandmaat40 |

Great Irish pub among a street full of them. Many beers on tap including some smaller breweries which is great to see. Offered tastes before ordering a pint. Bartender very knowledgeable. Went up the top "smoking loft". We walked up. Next time we will take the elevator (it's a long haul) but worth it. You can smoke as long as you are by the railing along the edge of the building which is far from the bar. We ordered burgers and they were amazing. Do NOT miss this times square area pub.

Great visit

By Russell |

The Perfect Pint is really a great spot to watch sports, eat and have a drink. I recommend The Perfect Pint Irish Red beer. Also, they have great bartenders.

Decent pint and food!

By Cen W |

Great selection of beers on offer, clearly popular and with a good ambience. Chicken hot pot and a pint went down well. Will visit again.

Rooftop Bar

By Will |

We drank/ ate in the perfect pint twice in our 5 nights visit! The food was lovely (the lettuce wraps were gorgeous) and the pints were what they were pints! The rooftop part of the perfect pint is amazing, great atmosphere and screens for the sports but the best part was … our server Aaron who went above and beyond for us and was nothing but a breathe of fresh air! Would 100% recommend and hopefully Aaron is your server! Will & Emma 🗽

Rude and obnoxious bartender

By Shyle M |

I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the very rude and argumentative bartender on the 3rd floor. The moment I walked in, he was confrontational and totally off putting. The food was good, but he completely spoiled my night out.

Love this place

By roanie1969 |

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and The Perfect Pint did not disappoint. Awesome service and the food is even better. I had a burger which was awesome. Ordered a local beer which was also great. The best part is the staff who make you feel so welcome. Will definitely be back next time I’m in NYC.

Great Food and Perfectly Poured Beer!

By Matthew B |

Wife and I were in NYC celebrating our anniversary and found this gem down the street from our hotel. We were greeted at the door as soon as we entered and were walked to the second floor. Within seconds our waitress was at the table and had our drink order. A short time later, a couple of perfectly poured Smithwicks arrived. We ordered some traditional pub food, fish-n-chips and shepherd's pie. Both meals were excellent! The fish was hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The shepherd's pie was so delicious! This place is a must visit as we came back a second night for a few more Smithwicks before the end of our trip.

Good lunch place

By jfp01 |

Good food, great staff, nice authentic Irish pub Good draft selection. Reasonably priced Pleasant atmosphere.

Super friendly staff and outstanding food and beer!

By teresahughes65 |

This place couldn’t get much better. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are well cared for. The beer selections are good. The food was excellent. The rooftop seating makes for a throughly enjoyable dining experience especially when the weather is gorgeous. Could not have enjoyed this more!

Disaster!

By Riccardo S |

I had to leave without eating. First an unpleasant and rude woman at the reception. Then I ordered a chicken breast and after 40 minutes a bacon burger arrived. Disaster! I went to have dinner elsewhere.

Delicious food and drinks

By takemeaway23 |

We walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we were there for dinner or just drinks. Then we were informed that they had an enclosed rooftop, on the 4th floor, if we wanted to go up there. We decided to take the stairs and went up to their roof top. It does look like we took the back stairs as we arrived by the bar up on top. When we left we went down the stairs, by the hostess stand and bathrooms. These stairs had more room and were lite by Christmas lights. A lot more festive than the way we came up. We ordered an angry orchid and Ulta, and for food we got a Shepard’s Pie and a Chicken Pot Pie. Both were very good. Service was excellent and they checked on us a few times. Definitely a spot for some real good food, atmosphere and drinks.

Cozy Pub and a solid lunch choice

By Brady2005 |

Solid pub in Midtown. Very good food, solid beer selection and wonderful service. Being from WI and yes, we like our beer, this place does it right.

Rip Off Drink Prices

By Sausca |

This is supposed to be an Irish Pub, but the drink prices are the highest I have seen in NYC including five star hotels and fine dining restaurants. It’s a trap for the unwary.

Casual, affordable dining in the Theater district.

By Ed S |

Lively crowd, great service, good food, reasonable prices, all just a short walk from Times Square. We had a family party of six adults, and tickets to an 8:00 PM show on a Saturday night. No problem getting a reservation, everything else about the dinner was great, and we were in and out in plenty of time to get to the show.

Beyond dissapointing!

By aoifeCoDownN_Ireland |

Having walked past this pub a few times during our stay we thought we'd try it out on our last night of our trip due to the close proximity to our hotel...honestly, the worst place we ate in during oyr week in NY. As soon as we walked in, there was a smell, not particularly bad just something not great, none the less, we sat down & ordered 2 starters & 3 main courses. 1 starter cane, Calamari, which was fine, then 3 main courses, 2nd starter was forgot about. Food was mediocre, 2 mojitas were ordered & arrived at table approx 1 min after...obviously on tao, not made fresh, and tasted as much. All 3 main courses were edible but lacked any great taste or flavour. We ledt, very dissapointed. In a city with approx 25k restaurants...i would advise to walk on.

Lives up to the name

By MrBoJangles2012 |

Very cosy, welcoming, atmospheric bar in midtown Manhattan. Just around the corner from our hotel base, The Westin Grand Central, we called in twice during our January stay for drinks and evening meals. Different staff on duty each evening but the service and welcome was cheerfully similar. Massive beer choice and also enjoyed their Irish whiskey take on a Manhattan cocktail. Wines expensive as they tend to be in NYC. Meal choices from extensive menu excellent, also. We dined on the ground floor but there's also an upstairs and rooftop bar. Highly recommended

Pub Visit For Drinks

By Heidi M |

We love to stop at Irish pubs when we are in NYC. This was a great rooftop bar with delicious beer. While the food looked great we were just there for drinks. The staff was super friendly and accomodating!! The place was hopping on a Friday night but we got a seat a the bar and had a great time!

Not a place to Relax and Unwind

By Jokerman |

Was seeking refreshment and relaxation after a busy day exploring New York with the family. Saw this place advertised as having a rooftop bar, so thought we'll give it a try. Shouldn't have bothered. The rooftop bar has a roof on it. The whole place was packed, we couldn't really hear each other talking. My drink arrived in a plastic glass and looked like it had sat on the bar for 10 mins before being brought over. I wonder who looks at the picture of my drink and thinks that looks like a perfect pint. Got seated in the entrance where everyone else was trying to get past, then moved to the open area at the front, where we could only sit in a line. This venue obviously suits some people, but it wasn't what we were after.

Superb Nights

By Ian M |

Went for a bar meal and drink one evening and that good we went back again. Big shout to the Galway boys behind the bar, thank you gents for great customer service, made us feel really welcome. All staff were actually very good. Food excellent, with lots of it and both me and the wife struggled to finish, but we managed it :-) Try Guinness and Guinness Blonde, excellent beers, got to get a Shakey glass though gents, I'll pick you one up when next in Sligo. If you in NYC then I would certainly say go here for both a good hearty meal and drink and warm welcome. See you next time in NYC and thank you so much for making us feel welcome.

Great spot

By Ted P |

Was going to a show and wanted a place close. Great beer selection and food was awesome. Had the shepherds pie and it was perfect. My wife had the sliders which were nice size burgers. We have been there before and it never disappoints. We will definitely go back.

Casual good food!

By Anna O |

This place was perfect for our casual dinner. Price was right! Atmosphere was casual. Food was great! I had the turkey burger with a side salad. So glad I found it. We had been wondering for hours and stumbled upon it. Food cake quickly once ordered.

Great pre-show dinner

By Andrews Family of 4 |

We stopped here for a pre-show dinner. We ate in the roof top area which offered a cool vibe, but is only accessible by a tiny elevator or 4 flights of stairs. The food and drinks were great and the service was okay. Having travelled across the pond, the food was authentic and the experience was second to none.

Guter Irish Pub

By DerProfi |

My classic Go to around Timed Square when in need of a good beer and a good value for money meal. My favourites are IPA and Perfect Cheese Steak. If bar is too crowded / too loud ask for a table on 1st floor.

Will be back soon

By EllieEllie13 |

We went in for a few drinks and had a lovely time, great beer and very friendly and attentive staff but the showstopper really is the rooftop, it’s completely covered so fine in all weather but so bright and open and trendy and just a lovely atmosphere. Very reasonable price compared to other places, a bucket of 6 beers for $25. We’re here for a few more days so will absolutely be back.

Perfect Pub

By Michael S |

Attended three times during US Open Week, twice on the roof top – which is a beautiful place to be in pleasant weather – and once in the atmospheric downstairs. Wide selection of brews, good service. it will be our go-to-pub for future NYC trips.

The Perfect Pint

By James F |

The food was excellent, the beer nice and cold, service was quick and efficient. Reasonable prices for New York City. Fair warning: we arrived on a Wednesday evening about 5pm without reservations and were seated immediately. Approximately 15 minutes later the place was nearly filled. Call ahead.

Feels like you're in Ireland

By Brian |

This is a quintessential Irish pub. We came in the night before the marathon to have my pre-race Guiness and it was hard to leave. Bartenders were awesome, wish I could have stayed longer

Great Tap Beer Selection

By K N |

Great atmosphere, good old fashioned pub grub and amazing tap selection! You have to try the mango wheat beer which I enjoyed. The bar staff were helpful and I got to watch sports on the screens which was nice.

Charged twice

By Gareth |

Popped in here last week. Bought drinks for three of us. Then my sister and partner joined us. I added their drinks to my tab. I then paid the tab in full and we left my sister and her fella finishing their drinks. They later told me that the bar tender charged them AGAIN for their 2 drinks. Very unprofessional and out of order. Will not be returning.

drinks before theater

By RochesterTraveler585 |

We had about an hour to kill before curtain, so we stopped in for a couple of drinks at the bar. We enjoyed the good company of a friendly bartender, a generous pour, and some vegetable potstickers as a snack. It felt like a familiar neighborhood snug.

A great find!

By silverandwine |

Four of us met in the city as part of a high school reunion weekend. Had tickets to a show, and just happened to find this restaurant on line!! What a great place! The 2 vegetarians were very happy, and our friends enjoyed their chicken wrap and burger. Our server was lovely, very accommodating and fun!! The next time I’m in the NY area, I will definitely come back!

Near hotel

By Teddy |

Perfect Pint was next door to our hotel. Stopped in for dinner. Bartender Ashley was great at beer recommendation. We ordered dinner and all 3 of were happy with our selections. The manager stopped by our table to check on us. Enjoyed so much I stopped by for breakfast the next day.

Loved this place

By madp0m in Sydney |

Loved this place and came back again and again for dinner and then dessert one night. Conveniently located just off Times Square, while popular, it somehow escapes the busyness of the general area and provides a relaxed atmosphere. Good food and great service - what more could you ask for?

Great service

By Walter K |

We had a private party on the 3rd floor. Dint recall the bartenders name but she was great. Had fish & chips and the fish was very good. Great selection of beers on tap. No pumpkin spice as of Wednesday

Lovely rooftop bar perfect on a sunny day

By jackirmic |

We had lunch here after visiting the New York Library. It was nice sitting up in the rooftop bar. Eating a blue cheese burger and drinking Guinness. Quirky decorations. Thatched roof, gunners raps in the bathroom and stools made from kegs. Very friendly and fast service

I recommend

By Eunice-Crds |

The meat is tender and well served but the meat with the hamburger was not well cooked as requested (rare) Very helpful waiter Very good beer However, we were placed right next to the door so there was a lot of draft.

A must stop in.

By lookie-brookie |

My husband and I dropped our girls off at Lion King and made our way to this little pub. It has a great atmosphere and the service was great. I love it when the servers take the time to banter with my husband. He enjoyed it so much. The food was quick and delicious. I enjoyed their house Red too.

New York first anniversary break away

By Paulie_lcfc |

Totally fell in love with the character of the place. Staff were very very friendly, food was gorgeous and the New Year’s Eve party was a great atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend paying this place a visit enough.

Great tasting food, large portions, service was average

By ElementTent |

Picked this place based on the menu, as it looked good to us. We were seated upstairs were it was quiet and near the end of lunch time so most the patrons were done. Server arrived quickly and took our drink and food orders, no issues there. Food arrived fairly quickly. Only issues was server never came back to check on us till our meal was 3/4 done, so I had to go find the vinegar for my fish. She also took quite some time after we were done before seeing if we wanted dessert or just the bill. Other then the service, the food was great. Large and flavourful piece of fish with the fish & chips. Shepard's pie was big, thick and hot. I would go back for the food again and hope the service is better

Birthday Weekend

By Joe T |

Great rooftop bar. This place is actually a multi-level place. Good service. The only thing marring the visit was all of the cigarette smoke on the rooftop. My son loved the Buffalo Chicken Tenders. I loved the Mojitos.

Perfect pint 🍻

By BenHarris |

Each time I've visited NYC over the past 15 years I have been here and it gets better each time. Great beer selection with simple, but tasty food available. You can't book as it's first come first serve, but they have a lot of tables over its three floors. Great vibe as it's and Irish pub but has NYC sports feel to it also. We really liked it there and will return again someday 🍻👍🏻

Put this place on your itinerary

By Mark |

Not a bad word to say about this place. Good beer, good food, good staff, good atmosphere. Will definitely return when in NY next.

Pretty good pub food.

By Ian H |

Ideal place to eat if you have had a hard day travelling and you want something to eat. Perfect if you are staying in the hotel neary by . Service good. Food good, Price good. Beer choice very good. It's a typical bar with a fair degree of atmosphere and character

Great evening and friendly staff

By Redbrab |

Thanks for a great evening, we had a few drinks downstairs and all the bar staff were friendly. Then we went upstairs for a few more drinks and food, we were served by a lovely and friendly lady (sorry missed her name but she was Irish-American) and definitely a credit to the Perfect Pint 😁 our food (shared starter, mains and shared dessert) was all very tasty and enjoyed by both of us so thank you for a lovely night at the Perfect Pint, it's just a shame we didn't find you sooner! Cheers, Lee & Paula 😉😉

Lovely lunch

By paulodge |

We visited the Perfect Pint for lunch whilst staying nearby and weren’t disappointed. Attractive surroundings, extremely attentive staff, very positive atmosphere and ambience and a great menu. Food and drinks were excellent and the waiting on team made for lovely hour or so. Would highly recommend.

Proper Irish Bar run by proper Irish lads

By UK-Visitor99 |

Meant to go to Connolly's across the street from our hotel (turns out Connolly's was next door) but wife and I from the UK stumbled into here celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. Wherever we go on holiday around the world, we always like the craic of a proper Irish bar, staffed by real Irish. We always find it so much more relaxed and fun at the end of a day touristing than normal bars that tend to take themselves too seriously trying to be something they are not. Found it here. Fell in love with the place and for the three nights we visited, it really made our New York trip for us. Rounded off every day perfectly. Be nice if they could get some of the yiddly diddly live music going on. Place would be swamped. Mark the bar manager is a star and we are going to miss him. Irish but been working in New York for 30+ years and, from my lengthy experience in these establishments, is a wisened, straight talking New Yorker but also a fun loving guy that does love a craic. Now joined this year by his son. For a nice chilled out end to the evening, this is a good bar. Can't speak for the food personally though the wife loved the burger cheese wrap thing. If you want a foodie with Irish decorations pretending to be Irish, go to Connolly's next door or O'Donnoghues on 44th. Next street down. Plastic Irish pubs. Just want to relax, go here. Not sure you will read this Mark but this is from the Gallagher's steak guy that had to apologise for the loud northern English guy on the last night. Was a laugh mate. Be well.

Nice spot for lunch (and probably dinner, too)!

By femaleboxer |

I was treated to lunch by coworkers, and this place was a first for me. Now... the portobello sandwich I ordered was very tasty, but it did not hold up well at all. I basically had to eat it deconstructed. Those sweet potato fries, though? O.M.G. Fire! Our waitress was very friendly, too, which was nice.

Great surprise and great price!

By jjgasman |

My wife and I were looking for a dinner stop in the Times Square area, and we came across this pub/bar/restaurant. We got quite lucky to find it, as the place was really quite good, reasonably priced, and had large portions. My wife had Greek salad with shrimp, which provided a generous amount of good-sized, well-seasoned shrimp. I had the chicken curry which was nicely flavored. We had a brussels sprouts appetizer which was above average. All in all, a nice, local find.

Great food served by original staff

By BoardingPass813690 |

We booked a table and was welcomed by a lovely waiter called Kevin. A breathe if fresh air that we were in an Irish pub and we were served by Irish people , Kevin and Katie. The food was lovely and the Guinness was lovely The manager Norma was great she stopped and had a chat and she had time for us. Turns out my father was from the next village as her dad. Overall great experience and would recommend a visit to this lovely pub. It wasn’t crazy busy. Was just nice. The staff were all attentive and I could have stayed there all night. Definitely worth a visit. Good fantastic

Cool Irish Pub

By Scott L |

Stopped in for lunch on the 4th with the family. Was a little worried as the place was virtually empty., but was not disappointed. Granddaughter had wings and I had the Reuben. Both were very good. The service was spot on would highly recommend.

Beware

By andrewDublin_Ireland |

Beware Hidden Fees! We sat at the bar & had pints and wings. The bill arrived with an automatic 20% tip which you can’t change and a credit card surcharge of 3%. So a bill of $100 suddenly is $125 whether it’s good bad or indifferent. We’ve been to this place a number of times over the years, we won’t be back

Excellent bar in NYC

By Neil H |

We were in NY for a long weekend before Christmas and this bar was close to our hotel , we were well looked after by the bar staff , nothing was a problem, great choice of beers, we did not eat here but the menu looked very good. Even the rebel songs were up to standard :-)

The perfect Perfect Pint Pub

By Balfian |

Located close to 7th Avenue in the Times Square area, the Perfect Pint greets you with - to anyone who has been to Ireland - genuine Irish ambiance and decor. We got there for early lunch before seeing a show. The Guinness looked and tasted just like the classic. Evan, the bar tender and waiter, talked with us for a while about his home country (there was no denying where he was from with the Dublin accent) and knew well the places we had visited in Dublin and Galway. My Irish Stew was delicious and again, just like remembered from "over there." We will go back.

Excellent meal and superb staff

By zung |

After a long hard day of sightseeing we looked for a good bar and Restaurant with rooftop bar and found this quircky place plenty of steps to climb to get to the rooftop bar but once there were met by excellent staff kelvin in particular whose Irish charm and humour added to the crac Ordered our meal which came quickly and didnt disappoint two perfect steak sandwiches and one perfect and one blue cheese burgers cant fault any of them best steak sandwich i have ever tasted and best pint of Kilkenny or rather best 4 pints of kilkenny Well done kelvin you made our day especially proud of seeing the display of police badges in the foyer as we left we are a big police family and intend sending a NWP badge over to add to them well done

Great Dinner!

By trav115 |

Stopped in for dinner, walked to the top floor and ate on the patio. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection, service was excellent and very friendly. Restaurant was very clean, prices were reasonable for the area. What a great experience, thank you!

Irish atmosphere

By Truffade26 |

What an atmosphere in the evening on the magnificent rooftop. Large selection of draft beers. Irish cuisine at a fair price for NYC, plentiful and of good quality. Fast service.

Nice Irish Pub

By Wawafont |

I had lunch here last week with my parents and my daughter. We all enjoyed our lunch very much. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Bonus points for having Kilkenny on tap! It’s one of my favorite beers and it is so hard to find in the US. I wish I lived closer to be able to go to the Perfect Pint more often.

Traditional Irish Pub

By CJIG106 |

Small low-key pub (go next door to Connolly's for a larger crowd and excitement/noise) near Times Square. Good place for a business traveler to sit and do some work (or not) while tossing back a few pints. Extensive beer and liquor options, as well as food. All were excellent. Staff friendly and service was quick.

Top tent

By mkunnen63 |

We have sat here ff lovely after our full 1st day in New York City. drink done and enjoyed the atmosphere and the good service. It was nice that all the Scots who had participated in Tartan Day came in. Nice people and nice music to hear and see.

Great authentic Irish pub

By SC Yaya |

We enjoyed two meals here during our visit. Great service and really good food. I loved the Reuben and the beer was good as well.

Amazing party @ the Rooftop

By Nicola C |

We hosted a corp party at the Rooftop, it was AMAZING. The food was to die for the cocktails were impressive. The entire team went above and beyond for us. Roisin handled the reservation and was so accommodating. Ernesto was the manager and he really took care of us. The bar staff was so nice and treated all of our employees so well. We really could not have asked for a better venue. THANK YOU

Pre-theatre meal

By Edward B |

This rooftop bar/restaurant is located close to Times Square and the theatres. A great place for a pre-show snack or meal. Large bar area; this seemed more of a drinking place that a destination restaurant. Service was very good, although the waitstaff seemed harried. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Large screen TVs all over the place. My companion loved the chicken pot pie. I found my shepherd's pie a bit bland. I would definitely go back for beers and to watch a sporting event, when I get to New York again.

Good staff but worst manager

By Yoandy P |

Manager Ernesto had the worst attitude ever, my mother got a food that she didn't like and he said that he cant switch the plate, at the end my mother didn't ate her food and we had to take it to the hotel. Im Not a complainer at all but if somebody deserves it I will.

Dropped the ball

By Perry G |

Went to the rooftop on 5/10/19. Upon arrival the server asked for a credit card to put behind the bar. Normally I refuse and leave if they insist. For some stupid reason I said ok. We enjoyed trying a few different beers and a couple appetizers. Some how it was a different server that gave us the bill. My wife pulled out her credit card to pay our $100 bill. We left and the next morning I realized they never gave me back my Amex card. I called and they had it. I said we’d be back for it after our all day tour of nyc. When we came back for it around 6pm I suggested to the bartender he owed us a beer for the mistake and I thought we’d probably have dinner there again. I was surprised when he said no way. We will go elsewhere for dinner. No I have to call to cancel my card and order a new one. I will never again patronize anywhere that wants to hold a card.

Popped in for a drink

By D T |

Slightly disappointed with this so called Irish pub. Felt more like a restaurant than somewhere to just have a drink or two, hosts greet you to seat you at a table. We did not want food and settled for the roof terrace, drinks arrived in thin plastic glasses even though beer and wine to other tables were in glass.

Food ok drinks good

By Shelley R |

It was ok here but the main course came out before we had finished our starter & being English didn't like this especially sitting at a small table then because it was a small table our glass fell on the floor without anyone touching it !

Average food

By 70'sThrowback |

Booked this place as it was one of the few places we could get a large group booked in from abroad. The food was ok, but nothing special and not somewhere I would return. All the waiting staff seemed to be very young but they lacked experience and did not provide great service. Probably better to go here for a drink.

Good Pub Fare

By DJF1958 |

Great Burgers and French fries as well as the shepherds pie. Worth the caloric splurge if you are in the area

Fab little find

By Evonne M |

We stumbled across this bar on the way to a broadway show. The bar tenders were very friendly, we had bangers and mash and chicken pot pie and they were both delicious and very reasonably priced. The drinks were great, a definite go back to place

A quiet place with good food

By Sandy W |

I wanted Irish food and a pint. Glad we stopped here. Our first visit. Several customers but not crowded. The chicken pot pie was great. Fluffy top crust. My husband had a burger. It was large. He said almost too much. Didn't eat all his fries.

Great place for a meal and drinks

By Matt Nixon |

My partner and I ate here on our first night in New York, and after being slightly jet lagged, it was a great place to come. We sat on the rooftop bar above Times Square and we’re impressed by the food and drink, not just by how tasty it was, but also how cheap it was, a salad was $14 and fish and chips was $17ish with the drinks being around $8 here. Great place if you want a quick pint and food!

The Perfect Pint was Perfect

By Big Buck |

We ate and drank on the rooftop terrace- Service excellent. Food Excellent. Drink Excellent. Could not have asked for more. C19 Protocol was excellent. It was bright, clean and welcoming! We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Pretty Good Grub

By Barbra S |

Good for quick bar food. Loud atmosphere with music and chatter - but the service was stellar and the food was pretty good typical bar food with some nice vegan options.

Excellent atmosphere

By Nick C |

Met up with family here earlier this month. What a place, noisy but good. The food was excellent especially the chicken curry which was amazing. Quick tip. If you can book ahead, as it gets crowded

Food and ambiance nice. Service average most likely due to automatic addition of gratuity.

By ericoftheeeast |

Good food. Nice setting (rooftop). Fair service- not great. Watch the surcharges. They automatically added a 20% gratuity for a table of four, and an additional 3% surcharge for credit card.

Fantastic roof top bar!

By John S |

Fantastic roof top bar in the middle of Manhattan! Beautiful Irish decor and sit overlooking 45th Street while enjoying a drink or meal! Tom our waiter was great too!

Solid

By Michael R |

We are visiting from out of town and needed a fast place to go to before seeing a show. This was the perfect spot. Food is good, not great, but it was a good space considering the location.

Great food

By Nicky W |

We had a really warm welcome when we arrived and shown quickly to a table. The two young waitresses were really polite and attentive. The burger with blue cheese was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted! Food arrived really quickly and was cooked perfectly. Good choice on the menu and perfect if you are looking for good homemade American food.

‘Pub-Like’

By Rob W |

Had dinner here while in the city for some meetings. I thought the beer selection was good and the atmosphere was better than I’d expect for a place right off Time Square. The burger was really good and surpassed my expectations. It’s a fair replica of a proper pub but you shouldn’t expect a true British/Irish pub.

Became our local pub while in NYC

By EssexBetty64 |

This pub was next door to our hotel and we used it several times fir drinks at the end of the day and dined their twice. Staff were lovely especially as I had to go to the bar to enter my pin each time I paid by credit card. It’s was great that our preference of drinks was remembered. Food was very good.

Great little rooftop bar

By thekfamilyKent |

Found this by chance. Great little rooftop bar. Loads of beers and drinks on offer. We didn’t try the food but there was a good menu. Very friendly. Toilets are a must see!

Last Night in NYC

By qtypie617 |

Service amazing, gets no better. The food was great for a pub and the prices were fantastic for being near Times Square. Truly enjoyed every moment here.

Ok bar in NYC

By StephenG1875 |

Popped in for food and a few drinks whilst walking round New York. Food was ok but nothing to get excited about. Drinks were good at an average price for New York.

ATTENTION TO TIPS

By Giuseppe P |

In my recent visit, last week, i have authorized a full payment of $ 140, the debit on my credit card was $ 156 PAY ATTENTION!

Large beer selection, good food and service.

By dfb260 |

We had dinner here and were pleased with the quality and flavor of the food. Prices good (for NYC). Bartenders (servers) were helpful and pleasant. Would return. A sports bar.

Great Lunch

By rktj |

Stopped here for lunch after arriving in NYC. Service was quick and friendly. Food and drinks were great. Just a friendly bar atmosphere off Times Square

By Rick F |

Great evening meal before going on to a Broadway show. Had the Gobbler and fries and my wife had the bangers and mash..All great then followed by chocolate brownie and mud pie..Excellent food, excellent service...Great atmosphere..Booked to return again..Highly recommended..

Wow - the rudest man ever!

By trueblue80 |

We went here hoping for a casual dinner. There weren’t any tables on the ground floor so my husband walked up the long and steep stairs to the roof while I waited at the bottom with my elderly parents since we didn’t want to make them walk all the way up if there weren’t any tables. The man greeting people told my husband when he asked for a table of four that he didn’t believe him. He then explained he was just ahead and everyone else could come up and the man said he still didn’t believe him. Really all he had to say was there was a table available and when everyone was here he’d seat us. I then got to the top first and he came rushing up to say is that it? You can have a table for two. I was completely shocked at the way this man was talking to my husband. My husband then said my parents were just walking up a bit slower and he started arguing with my husband. Honestly I’ve never known anyone to speak to customers like this in my life. Our jaws just dropped open. After that we just felt we couldn’t stay and turned round and walked back down (after my 70 year old parents had just walked all the way up) and got a sarcastic ‘see ya’ from this server. Seriously shocking! I hope one day he’s on the receiving end of the service he gave my parents tonight.

Nice place to hang out.

By Dmc0221 |

Nice place to hang out with a well poured Guinness. Nothing fancy. Lamb burger and sweet potato fries were tasty. Service was fine.

Great!

By iver0185 |

One of the best pubs in the area! Food I'd great and atmosphere is nice. Prices are reasonable. Would eat here again...highly recommend.

The name says it all

By Ad6687 |

I am not an Irish person that likes to go to an Irish bar but this one is exceptional. The cocktails are great, the Guinness I’ve be been told is actually very good but most importantly the service is great. We got talking to a gent from Galway called Evan who works here and without a doubt he is the best representation of the Irish abroad. Definitely worth stopping here for a pint and some food.

Nice Bar - bring cash

By Clare C |

Stopped in for a drink here after a day wandering around the city. Nice cozy atmosphere. Was at the start of happy hour, so a bit busy. Sat at the bar, ordered and received our drinks. Staff changed and we ordered an appetizer from the new guys. Checking out, we noticed 2 different prices on the receipt. Found out they charge 3% to pay with a credit card (and not just American Express - all credit cards)!! Thought this was ridiculous - it’s NYC and this was clearly not a mom and pop establishment. And we were not told upfront. 3% is not a lot on a $45 bill, but we feel we were duped.

Good for a drink

By Sarah T |

My friend and I have stopped here to eat and drink twice. There is a wide variety of drinks and the food is always good. It has a true Irish pub feel. We had quick friendly service.

Good lunch spot

By Robert B |

We went to the rooftop bar and restaurant. Basically, it's got a sports bar feel but outside. Had the turkey sandwich (the Gobbler), which was really good. The beer was nice and cold, and the service was excellent.

Service very friendly & quite fast

By George M |

Took my family (six total) for lunch the first day in NYC and dinner late on our last. The food was excellent and served piping hot. We tried a wide variety of the appetizers and entrees and all were very good. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. The waitress/bartender was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A very good selection of Scotch Wisky and Irish Wiskey. We had a great time there. Next time in NYC will definitely return to "The Perfect Pint".

Nice Bar for Groups

By crazyzete |

I met a group of classmates up here based on the recommendation of someone working in the area. I wasn't too sure this place would be decent because I'm used to places around Times Square to be tourist traps. This place was not. Good food and drink and reasonable prices. The ground floor main bar was busy, but we ventured up to the third floor with a smaller bar and less people sonwe could get a table for 7 and have some noise free space to chat. If you are meeting a group I highly recommend this place, and the quieter area upstairs. A ton of beers on tap, I'm a wheat beer person myself and had Hoegaarden and Allagash White. The turkey burger and brie special (see pic) was very tasty.

Busy place but good food

By Feemar5 |

We had both breakfast and dinner at this place and found it to be o.k. Breakfast did not start until 9.15 on Sunday morning but the waitress was pleasant and took our order quickly. Food was tasty. We also had dinner one evening and the place was very busy. We were a party of six and there was an 18.75% mandatory tip added to our bill. The only table available was just inside the door and it was a bit cold. However the food was good and the staff were efficient.

Beer Fans

By chetnluz |

The perfect Pint is a great stop for... you guessed it, a perfect pint. They have about 25 taps with a wide selection of styles of beer. And pretty fine pub grub as well.

Nice Irish Pub in Times Square Area

By ronco0807 |

Excellent Pub atmosphere with tables in front and a long bar in the middle and more tables in the back. Our waitperson was friendly, helpful and professional. We came late after a show and even though the place was crowded we were seated right away. My dining companion was not very hungry so she ordered an appetizer of the chicken lemongrass dumplings. I tried one and it was delicious. I had the Blue Cheese Burger. It was cooked just to my specification and was juicy and delicious. I would definitely return here.

Great local bar in the heart of mid town

By jla113 |

Found this pub online whilst looking for a pub to watch the Super Bowl in mid town. Highly recommend this place for several reasons. Firstly a huge choice of beer including our favourite blue moon and the barman knew it came with a slice of orange (top marks) secondly great personal, table service with the servers knowing when to check in, who were all friendly and helpful. Finally great bar food as we both had nachos (1 chilli 1 chicken) which tasted great washed down with a cold beer, really enjoyed staring here to watch the game, will defo be back next time we are in nyc

Nice beer selection

By SeeTheW0rld62 |

We went here before a show at a nearby theater to watch a football game. They have a nice selection of domestic and imported beers. They also have 5 TVs so it's a good place to watch a game. Service was good.

Quick pre-theatre dinner that was yummy!

By travelingfam5 |

Everyone in our party of 5 loved their dish - burger with mozzarella and roasted peppers, fish and chips, cheesesteak, fries, and amazing cheesecake and key lime pie. We were comfortable, not crowded, inside the pub and had very attentive servers. A 3 minute walk in the rain and we arrived at the Lion King show early.

Pub, pub, pub

By Cindy Wood |

In a line of 3 pubs near hotel we stayed. It was nice. Irish coffee a bit much for me but pretty sure it is because more authentic than my own. lol

WINGS!!

By Mickinley L |

We stopped in for a drink and ordered some wings. They were so good we had to get another order. This place has a very "warm' feeling. One of the ladies who works there was greeting a lot of people coming in the door by name and giving them hugs. I wish it was closer to home b/c I would be here often.

As good as the other one!

By Kerzy |

Didn’t realise we had been to the other one until we got served. Same friendly service and good atmosphere, food looked good although we didn’t eat here.

Great spot for food and beers

By Majken C |

I would definitely recommend this bar when the sun is out - they have the cutest rooftop bar and smoking is allowed (selected tables). The staff were really friendly and we got a lot of information about the different beers - the food was also really tasty and fairly priced. I only had drinks there once, and the price is too high compared to taste and value. Go there on sunny days, for beers and food :-)

Not sure why this is rated highly by TA

By wmccfp |

Mediocre food, disinterested service, weak drinks but great location off of Times Square. Based on other reviews we must have hit a bad time with a bad crew. Nonetheless there are certainly many other nearby options that are better.

Best Pint in Town!

By Kelley D |

If your visiting NYC, please do yourself a favor and get a pint of Guinness at The Perfect Pint, it truly is perfect! And make sure to enjoy it on the rooftop bar!

Good Irish Style Pub

By Gene K |

A good Irish style pub serving a variety of beers and liquors, along with tasty food. There also is rooftop seating for those wanting an outdoor meal. Service was friendly and prompt.

Strange barman

By Katie C |

Found the young Irish bar man helpful and attentive however our visit was ruined by a taller bar man. He had an unkempt beard, curly hair and glasses, came across as extremely rude, abrupt and lacking severely in people skills. Very surprised this man works in hospitality, will NOT be visiting again thanks to him and absolutely would NOT recommend.

Service was great, food was good - not great

By Brian L |

Very good place for an Irish style menu, good drinks, and very good service. We were looking for a place we could walk into without reservations, dressed casually, that wasn’t Italian or Chinese that we’d been eating all week. Perfect Pint fit that bill well. We didn’t try the rooftop.

Surprising roof terrace

By Ralf S |

Good fast service, 20 beers vd draught Great food nice location Tap water wasn't so thunderous. Lots of.staff but neat and non intrusive

Great find!

By Laurie H |

My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and it was delicious!! Flakes crust wonderful sauce. I ordered the fish and chips and ate the whole thing. The fish was extra crispy with hot tender fish. The chips were excellent with perfect seasoning and the place carried Kilkenny on draft!!

Nice bar but spirit mixer a little pricey

By kristen h |

We headed up to the rooftop for a pre theatre drink, ambience and service was good. No menus on the table so ordered a beer and a single rum and coke and was a little shocked when the spirit and mixer was $12 but we are in Manhattan.

Awful food

By Caroline R |

The worst! Awful overpriced food not served according to description. Prepared incomplete and not accomodating.

Great beer selection

By mitchh705 |

So glad I found this bar!!! The Perfect Pint Irish Red was fantastic!! I’ll be back the next time I’m in NYC!!!

Good choice, especially considering value.

By tapeterlee2015 |

Not bad at all. Pretty good lamb burger and shepherds pie as well as draft beers. Portions were modest but enough for us and besides, it looks like they kept prices in check in face of Onicron inflation :-( Took off a star cause when we asked for water and the answer was: “our pipes had frozen”. Ha? this is not an answer I expected at a veteran NYC restaurant. Buy some bottled water for Christ’s sake. And besides, they had running water in the restroom sink …

Good food, great atmosphere

By Keith P |

This was our last night in NYC and we decided to do another Irish themed bar/restaurant and, being a beer drinker, the name appealed to me. We weren’t disappointed as the beer (Old Man Grumpy IPA) was very good as was the food. We shared a NY Cheesecake as we were both stuffed. Two mains, one desert and a couple of drinks came to around $74, which is par for the course in NYC

What Have You Done to My Fish and Chips

By yatach |

This was our third visit. We had great food and snappy service the first two times. This time, we didn't feel as lucky. My Fish and Chips arrived quickly on a mid-week night. I noticed they looked nothing like an earlier visit. They were previously thick and juicy and tender but now they were thin and dry and a bit tough. On the surface was a tire tread like pattern - almost like they had prepared it in a George Foreman grill. Won't be ordering that again. I would return here again because this is the first marginal meal we got here and we like the atmosphere and the quick service. I hope they come to their senses and go back to the old was of preparing the fish. I will definitely read the other reviews to see what dishes are the best before I return there.

Great Atmosphere

By Rick K |

When we travel, we search out Irish bars and pubs, as my wife is Irish. We just spent eight days in New York and had a great time. We managed to shade the doorway of about twenty Irish pubs during this stay. This was in the top 5 during this visit. The food was well above par with generous portions. The atmosphere was electric with tons of life from a busy crowd. The place was clean and well lit. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside was the prices were a tad higher than they should have been. A great visit, just the same because we enjoyed the lovely taste of Harp one or two times, maybe it was closer to six or seven. We will return on our next visit.

Great rooftop bar

By Mike G |

My wife and I spent some time at the roof top bar, while visiting New York for her birthday. The location and weather were perfect, and Jess made it even better by taking great care of us. This place is worth a visit, and be sure to ask for Jess.

Great meal

By Matt S |

We went here for a later dinner on an early summer evening. We ended up at the roof bar, which was an excellent venue, and a great option. The beer selection was decent, and their private-label beer good as well. The staff was awesome throughout our visit; friendly, efficient, and patient!! Teh food turned out to be good; I ordered the fish and chips, which didn't look all that remarkable when brought out...but, it was great, and tasted fantastic! The food came out relatively quickly. All in all, a pretty good dining spot.

Not sure it lives up to its name

By Jezrez |

Not bad but a bit of a let down. I live in England with hundreds of great Irish bars around, sadly this is no match for any in England, Scotland or Ireland itself. Food average, beer below average. Anyway you win some, you lose some, I’ve had better. Friendly service. Thanks

Great Roof Top Bar

By rowanNottingham |

Came here for a drink after a day of walking and sightseeing. Great atmosphere and the staff went out of the way to find you a table and make sure you had everything you needed. Ended up having a meal here as well and the food was good. We did discover after climbing the flights of stairs that there was a lift 😱 Would defiantly visit again

A great place to wind down after a day of sight-seeing

By Diem6 |

The staff were really nice, and Irish to boot which gives the place the Irish atmosphere you'd want in an Irish bar outside of Ireland. I'll return to this bar on my next visit to NY.

Great food and service!

By DLA |

Great service and food! I had the pale ale and fish and chips. All delicious and the fish was enough for 2 people. Best onion rings we ever had. Atmosphere is loud bar type, a little difficult to talk, but not impossible. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Best bar in NYC

By keeo66 |

I try all the Irish bars in NYC and this is still the best of the best. Atmosphere, service, food/drink, and great conversation. Tonight's visit was made special by Sinead and Nick. Slainte!

Wouldn't be Our First Choice.

By SkipperBill2 |

We visited here on a hot day looking for a cold brew. We did find the cold brew, but the staff we encountered were not pleasant. Certainly, that might not be typical, but it was our experience.

Great restaurant very close to Times Square

By Franjgs |

A very nice place with a very friendly and attentive staff. We went with a boy who suffers from a severe milk allergy and at all times the chef took great care in preparing his food. It is, without any doubt, a place that we recommend.

Go to the rooftop bar

By Michael W |

Had lunch here with a business colleague and it was excellent. I had one of the daily specials, a chicken curry, and it was delicious. The staff are attentive and very pleasant and the ambiance really good. Unfortunately, it looks as though I will now be avoiding NYC until the ridiculous vaccination requirement is lifted.

Dinner

By Mje12518 |

We stopped here for a quick dinner. Although the food was OK, they stuck us upstairs. This area is cramped with no atmosphere at all. Nothing makes this area "fun". We find O'Lunney's a much better location. If you must go to the perfect pint, se if you can eat downstairs (assuming they will let you).

Yummy Pre-show Lunch

By Dorothy M |

We had a wonderful time here before seeing a show. My husband and I at at the rooftop bar and ordered shrimp quesadillas, a special and they were probably the best quesadillas we've ever had. Full of large, sweet shrimp and toasted to perfection. My husband got the bangers and mash and said the sausages were wonderful. My black bean and quinoa burger was also outstanding, with Swiss cheese and avocado and mushrooms. The beer selections, also outstanding. We must have had 5 different beers between the two of us. We returned after our show and sat at the bar and tried the delicious strawberry cake that was also a special. One of the staff joked with us when we raved about the quesadillas that it wasn't even a Mexican restaurant... who care when the food is this good!

Quick bite between shows

By Brian C |

We had the smoked duck wantons and a burger, my daughter and son in law had the fish and chip platter. The food was great and fast! The Irish red was tasty. We were in and out in less than an hour!

Had a lovely meal here last week.

By artmuseumgoer |

Very good service. Tasty burger and fries. Yummy turtle cheesecake for dessert. Server, Norma, was very pleasant and caring. We will be back for sure. Very conveniently located to many Broadway theatres.

poor service

By Teresa W |

visiting NYC with family, decided to have a late night dinner at the Perfect Pint. the Irish waiter elected not to write our order down and as a result two of our 4 meals was received incorrectly. Not once did anyone EVER come by to ask how our meal was, refill our drink.. NOTHING. not even a thank you after returning threw credit slip for me to sign. STAY AWAY!!

Fantastic chicken pot pie

By Kevin R |

There is a huge choice of beers here and the service is very good. Staff are friendly and food is served quickly. The chicken pot pie is absolutely delicious- great pastry and a delicious filling. It’s the food highlight of New York for me.

Great selection

By Bethann S |

My husband, Mom and I were in town for a Broadway show. We wanted something to eat before the show. I found The Perfect Pint on trip advisor and it appealed to me with its close proximity to our theatre. The older gentleman who was hosting was great. He had a great sense of humor and gave great suggestions for food. The beer was cold and had great selections for affordable prices (not my small town prices but good prices for NYC). I had the Reuben, the other two had fish and chips. We all enjoyed and walked away full. The food came out really quickly, too. The pub did remind me of Traditional Irish pubs in Ireland. I don’t make too many trips to NYC, but if I did, I would frequent this establishment. Thanks for a great meal!

Welcoming Environment

By nikimak |

We always stop in at The Perfect Pint when visiting NYC. Great atmosphere and good ol’ pub to enjoy a beer or two while enjoying the city

Nice pub near Times Square

By DCarver262 |

I always contact restaurants in advance to make sure that my power wheelchair can be accommodated. I had set up a booking for Sunday afternoon at 5:30 (following a great show at the Hudson theater) for four people at the high table in the very front of the bar. When we arrived, those tables were occupied and the manager on duty had no knowledge of my booking. My power wheelchair is quite bulky and doesn’t fit under a regular table well which is why I always try to arrange things in advance. To his credit, he asked the party on the table if they would move; they did without concern and we were able to get settled for dinner. I appreciated his efforts on our behalf. Menu pretty standard pub food with good prices for NYC. Tab for each couple was $75 in tip. Great beer selection and my sour pale ale was excellent. Fish and chips nicely done as was my southern fried chicken wrap (asked for no cucumber/tomato and received as ordered). Staff was attentive, followed up promptly to all requests and operated as a well functioning team. When in the Times Square area, this is a nice little pub to enjoy some sports on tv and good food/drink.

Wonderful staff and food

By Emma |

The food here is amazing, we went back a few times to eat. Staff were so friendly and work really hard, you can see how busy it was at times but never left waiting for anything. Really great service.

Food good service meh...

By Dad2Twins1969 |

The menu online shows lobster ravioli (not available). The wait staff could hardly be bothered very inattentive and slow. The food and drinks however once we could actually place an order were good. Took forever to get a check too.

okay but......

By tom g |

it was okay, good choice of beers, nachos good. what I don't like though is that you get no list of beers that are available and how much they are/how strong they are and they then recommend one that happens to be what I would assume to be the most expensive one (3 dollars more than the second one I had) - probably more annoyed at my naivety but this just left a bitter taste - there are better bars in NYC and within a few blocks of this one

Happy hour!

By Claire J |

Great pub. Great manager from Sligo. Never caught his name. Good beer especially in happy hour! Had a few visits. Great atmosphere and comfortable place. Loved it.

Great place.. great location.. great beer and food

By Momdemac |

I took my teenage son here looking for something affordable and not touristy. We loved the perfect pint. The food was great. Our server was actually Irish. I loved the beer. I had the Guinness Blond American Lager. Loved it. It inspired me to go to the Guinness Brewery in Baltimore. Service was fast and attentive. I look forward to going back again.

Nice place for dinner

By missmadisonnn |

I came here on Friday night at around 7 pm and was able to go straight to a table. The service was good straight to the point. I got the shepherd's pie and my fiance got the lobster ravioli dish. The portions were smaller than I expected for the price. The shepherd's pie was really good despite the size. It was a little chilly in the restaurant. There was not a lot of Irish inspired decor in the dining area like there is at the bar. We went to dinner here since it was right next door to our hotel and it was a really nice dinner. I am glad that we took a chance and had a good dinner here.

Evan is the best

By Paige W |

Dropped in for a pint or two and met Evan the bartender!! Great guy. Made our night. Perfect ending to a perfect weekend trip!! Go by and say HI! Tell him the girl from VA sent ya!!

Guinness at its best!

By American M |

Great friendly staff, excellent food and a nice pint of Guinness right in Midtown Manhattan! Very reasonable price and although busy around Christmas, staff were very attentive and smiling.

Definitely the perfect pint

By jusyandmark |

Great traditional food. Friendly staff. Lovely roof top bar. Great atmosphere. A wide variety of beers.

Back to New York

By Tomas W |

This was my second trip to New York and this bar was the first place I went into due to my very positive experience of it last summer! Cannot speak highly enough of the place. Very friendly and helpful staff including, Sarah, Evan, Mick, Eunan, Norma and Sean! Also received good advice off the staff in regards to tips about what to do in the city!! Would recommend this bar to anyone.

Great spot!

By tweetyrx2003 |

We went up on a bus trip to see the Rockettes. Unfortunately it was pouring rain so we didn’t get much sight seeing in. We tucked in this little spot to get out of the rain. The service was impeccable. The drinks were reasonable and the bar staff was super nice! We will definitely make this a regular stop when we are in the city!

Disappointing food. Nice atmosphere.

By Klvrn |

Atmosphere on the rooftop was lovely. Service was okay. The food was definitely disappointing. I'd say it's a good spot for some drinks but definitely skip the meal as no one in our group enjoyed their dinner.

Not the best Irish Restaurant for food, but great rooftop

By Leslie J |

Well, their rooftop garden setting is very nice. All of the TVs were set on a single station which limited our viewing options significantly. Unfortunately the food was very standard, nothing worth note. We had the spinach artichoke dip, French onion soup with bitey onions, and the fish and chips that were all the same size. The fries were good. Service pleasant. Prices reasonable.

Solo visit - NYC

By Fran E |

Great ambiance and quality staff. On point with service for drink and great food options. Friendly engaging staff - more like a local!

Roofgarden beautiful, excellent sandwich a place to spend a very pleasant evening

By Enzo71Napoli |

After a long flight we opted for this well-reviewed pub not too far from our hotel. The sandwiches were really very good (in the picture those taken from me) accompanied by a great beer .price New York but acceptable (about 24 € each). To visit

Best of Irish! Top Notch.

By Matt H |

Found this little beauty on night one and kept on coming back. Great for sport; food and the “craic”. Staff all on the ball and great fun. The open top bar on the roof (only 6 floors up) is another level again! Though not tried, food looks good and menu well balanced. Will re-visit on another trip and cannot recommend highly enough. Best enjoyed with bar staff banter.

Not worth your time

By TXVicky |

This place was near our hotel so we decided to have dinner here after a long travel day. Once inside it was very loud both from music and customers. It took a while to be waited on and given a menu and order wine. I ordered the fish tacos which said they were like the fish and chips. My husband got the turkey and brie sandwich with fries. My husband liked his sandwich, but said it was nothing special. My fish tacos however were terrible. The presentation was lovely, but once I bit into the fish I realized the batter was coming off the fish and the fish was tough, We were so tired and hungry that I did not complain, just ate what I could. It did get a little quieter as it got later past the happy hour and into dinner time. There are a lot of better pubs in NYC.

Great beer and food

By Peter Brumlik |

Best beer, fish and chips and shepherds pie. Great service from an Irish lass. Right around the corner from Time's Square

A late night dinner straight from the airport.

By Lalo765 |

We were staying at the Club Wyndham right next door and we had just arrived from Florida. There was a very friendly Irishman at the front door who sent us upstairs to the rooftop bar since the lower level was full. We were seated immediately. It's an open air space, and I was surprised that smoking was allowed. And there were three chain smokers at the railing on the street that kept the whole floor filled with smoke - ugh! However, we both had beers - I had the Irish red draft and it was just what the doctor ordered. We both had the fish and chips and they were very good as well. Overall, not a bad experience, except for the smoking, but maybe that's a NYC thing.

Great rooftop bar

By Michael W |

Don’t worry if the weather turns inclement. They’ll get the roof over your head much more quickly than they can do at Wimbledon. Good food at reasonable prices (for NYC) and a very good selection of beers. Very attentive staff too. I’d recommend this place for lunch or drinks any time.

Average Irish bar

By #FCW |

We were mildly disappointed by this place. Many good Irish bars in NYC but this one was very average. Food was ok but nothing special especially not by NY standards. Wings were really disappointing. Just did't do it for us.

Still Perfect

By MrBoJangles2012 |

We discovered this bar on our last visit a year ago and were pleased to find everything we liked about it was as we remembered. Cosy and atmospheric, the service and food were again top class with staff taking time to chat about your trip. We dined here twice in three days and both times, the meals were superb. Wines were expensive compared to UK pricing but that seems to be a NYC thing. Can especially commend the Lamb Burger and Crab Cakes

Excellent pour

By johnziac |

Excellent burgers delicious beer along with very friendly staff. Convenient location to Broadway and the theaters.

Irish Pubs of NYC

By TQ436 |

The perfect Irish pub just off Broadway. Excellent selection of Irish beers and although we did not eat here, many patrons looked like they were enjoying themselves. Friendly Irish bartender made this stop a great find. We will definitely be back!!

Yum!

By Colin K |

Dropped in here on the off chance, as I was passing and it looked inviting. Waitress was really helpful and even chased after me after I left my headphones at the table .....much appreciated I had a burger which was absolutely delish! Excellent place - can highly recommended
