I recently had a wonderful dinner and overall experience at The Standard with a few friends before catching the late set at a local jazz club. The Standard came with high expectations and they didn’t not disappoint! We were greeted warmly by the host Chris, who checked in on us as we were having pre-dinner drinks. Our server, Serena, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the menu. When we let her know we were short on time to catch our set, she made sure to expedite the service without making it feel rushed. Jesse also stopped by our table and made some excellent recommendations on the menu. The scallops were perfectly cooked and everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. It was refreshing to find a restaurant in NYC that was highly reviewed and then actually lived up to the hype without being pretentious. It is perfectly situated under the High Line and the vibe, food and staff were all wonderful. I will definitely be returning.

Had an amazing time here! The vibe was impeccable, the wine list was great. I'm a natural wine enthusiast and they have great options. Loved the orange that they pour by the glass. Snacks were tasty and tasteful. Overall an elegant experience that was super fun. Chris and team are the best! My favorite new go to when in FiDi!

We went there for my brother-in-law’s birthday. The service was perfect the dishes very good. We had pasta and meat and we were not disappointed. Watch out just a little bit. A little candle on my brother-in-law’s dessert was very nice of them!

This is A classy and classic New York scene. If you know, you know and if you’re new then you need to know. I had lunch with a friend in the cafe, one of the many beautiful dining areas, but was in the moment so much I forget to take pictures lol. Our waitress Stephany was so patient with us because we hadn’t seen each other in a while and took our time looking at the menu. I had the tender steak tartar and my friend had a classic French omelette. Hot sauce was served in little individual bottles as well as other condiments. The decor, the energy, the food, the service I can’t say enough good things about them. I have yet to try their beer garden as it gets very busy very quickly, so if that’s more your vibe, make sure to book a reservation in advance.

Delicious food and absolutely fabulous service from Elijah! We had the scallops and it was perfect and the best gin and tonics!

Great spot for dinner. We were there on a Saturday night, and we were very impressed with the food and service. The wagyu was a bit tough, but the rib-eye was excellent. Overall, a really good dining experience.

Had a wonderful Experience for the first time at the Standard Grill and enjoyed myself so much !!! But the VP of hospitality Chris was amazing with me and my party showed us a great time and even made sure we had a Bday toast for my partners 30th Bday celebration. The staff and team was very attentive and hospitable during our visit . We will definitely return .

The whole vibe of the standard is amazing, the food is excellent, the drinks innovative, but it’s really the people and the staff that make the place so special. You are always so well taken care of and everyone leaves happy! With Chris at the host stand and Christa at the bar, you are guaranteed a good time. Also, make sure you talk to Andrew the somm before you make any decisions!! He’s the best!!

Another fabulous dinner at the Standard Grill! It was my first time ordering the Wagyu Bavette which was heavenly. Service was attentive and friendly. It seems like the Grill keeps just getting better and better. I will be back.

Had a superb meal earlier this Winter for some clients and returned recently to check out the Summer menu and vibe and great to see the Standard Grill still humming! We started with a literal *punchbowl* of French 75 to cool us off and get the birthday party started right and the seafood tower was out-of-this-world. As usual, the venerable Chris Session was a superb host and our server was on point. Try to sit in the main dining room or outside once it cools down. The Standard Grill is back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our breakfast with J. ward! She was the sweetest and recommend great items from the menu :) Service was great, space was beautiful, and the food was delicious. Can’t recommend it enough! Hope you get the pleasure of being served by J. Ward!

I came here with my friends and everyone was so enthusiastic because of the nice location and the good drinks. All the stuff there was really friendly and anticipate,

We were enjoying a perfect spring day and bopping around the West Village near our house and happened upon the perfectly inviting patio and popped in for a quick brunch! My partner Will and I both opted for the Standard Omlette and a cocktail and they were excellent! Jocelyn (J Ward) was our lovely server and everything was exactly what we wanted.

I always enjoy my time at The Standard Grill! I caught up with some friends for lite bites & wine after work. My first time having the seafood tower, and honey, lemme tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. Perfect accompaniment to my Chablis. Getting to see Chris Session is always a nice bonus ☺️

Outstanding brunch with delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great service! (Thank you, Diamond!) sitting in a spacious booth was super comfortable and relaxing. Great choice for a day of Meatpacking District exploring. We’ll be back! (And yes, the monkey bread is as good as they say!)

The vibe is lively and fun, and the decor has this classic New York feel. I tried the steak frites, and it was cooked perfectly—juicy with crispy fries on the side. The oysters were also super fresh, a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and made great recommendations.

I had a fantastic dining experience here and a lot of the credit goes to the manager, Dion. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority. Dion was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They handled a busy night with grace, making sure every table was well taken care of. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly enhanced the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend eating here and appreciate the excellent management that made our evening so enjoyable.

We had an amazing time, and Annelise, our server, steered us well the whole time - from my cocktail selection to the hearts of palm salad, everything was delicious. The setting is beautiful - sit outside if you can.

This place is like home and approachable yet classy compared to some of the other establishments in the area. The steak tartare is definitely my favorite. I also find that the Maître d’ Chris Sessions goes the extra mile to make every guest feel welcomed. Sergio is definitely one of my favorite bartenders y si necesitas servicio en español, él puede ayudarte perfectamente. Amazing place!!!

The food at the grill was excellent. The best I've had in NYC. The service we received from Stoyan was awesome. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting NYC.

Had the most special birthday meal! Our server (Elijah) made our night and even gave me a candle in my dessert! The food was incredible! And the floor is so special.

The food was excellent and very generous portions. The chocolate mousse advertised for at least two was enough for at least two tables. Everyone was warm and friendly, especially Chris. Would definitely come back again and again.

We had an amazing brunch at the Standard Grill. Everyone loved their meal and our waiter (Gery) was the best! The Cobb salad, fries, and crookie were highlights and the drink menu was great. We recommend the Honeymoon! Eat outside if you can.

Brought my uncles out for a family birthday celebration dinner and Chris (manager) treated us like celebrities. The million dollar chicken was amazing. A couple uncles of mine ordered the burgers and they loved that as well. And don’t get me started on the fishbowl… Great icebreaker! The standard grill never disappoints!

After hosting a friend’s birthday dinner at The Standard Grill, I had to return with family to celebrate my own trip around the sun in New York. Since the weather was perfect, we ate under to pergola (a must when climate allows). Chris Session’s entire team, from the hostess station to the wait staff were amazing. The ceviche was exceptional, as always, the garden salad was bright and fresh, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the items that we ordered from this summer’s drink and dessert menu were delightful!

Look for a different dinner with atmosphere and some romanticism, and I found it! The -standard- of the place lives up to its fame. The whole process is careful step by step: the attention, the variety of the menu, the presentation of the dishes and the atmosphere of place make it a Must.

Happened to pass by after viewing the "Elephant Migration " and were attracted by the flowers and design. The hostess and waitress Jocelyn both greeted us with warmth and charm. Jocelyn very capably advised us about the wine and food selections. Both turned out to be excellent. She was attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience. We will surely return.

We came for dinner before a show, and wow — the NY Strip was out of this world. Cooked exactly medium rare, crispy potatoes on the side. Carlos A. made our experience seamless and fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at The Standard Grill!! I celebrated my birthday with my family at this awesome restaurant. Our host, Chris, was the epitome of graciousness!! The food was Amazing! The drinks were excellent! The service was superb with very attentive staff! The ambience was so chill! I am definitely recommending this restaurant as a Go-to Destination for anyone who comes to New York for business or pleasure!

The Standard Grill has very good weekend brunch menu items available near the Whitney Museum. I was on my way for to that Museum, and stopped in to have the "Croque Madame" (a ham & cheese sandwich made with fancy ham + cheese; then with a fried egg on top) for brunch. The menu has plenty of other brunch items that also sounded good. Today's breakfast sandwich was very tasty (as was the side salad), and the service was prompt on a reasonably busy weekend late morning. A good choice if you're on your way to the Whitney (just ~1 block away).

Burger was great. Hospitality was friendly. I love the room very, the host was very special experience. The dj played an array of great music

Overall: excellent food, mid range prices, excellent service and atmosphere. starter drinks and appetizers were delicious and timely. recommend the steak tartare. for main coourse I had the grilled pork chop with beans, excellent grill flavor and lovely flavors. for dessert i recommend the sorbetto, but we also had their pride onth cake which was super moist. Outstanding service and staff. recommend you get out the way to visit this lovely restaurant. Service

I had an incredible dining experience at The Standard Grill! The food was exceptional—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the Lioni Burrata, Standard Burger, & their Espresso Martini! However, what truly made the evening stand out was our server, Nina. She was warm, attentive, and her menu recommendations were spot-on. We’ll definitely be back, and I hope to have Nina as my server again!

I enjoyed dinner with three colleagues on the terrace on a recent warm, Wednesday evening. Service was prompt and friendly, and the branzino, the burger, the steak tartare, and the wagyu steak were amazing. Our server even brought an amazing rainbow-pride- themed slice of cake for the table when she learned that one of us was celebrating a birthday. Awesome. I’ll be back!

Maybe if I give just one star it will make the manager of this place react ? Because otherwise it seems he does not care about customer service at all ! I just had the worst experience ever which made me feel very bad. I was waiting for a table for a while, people before me were given a table so I was supposed to be next. But then the waitress seated the people behind me !! The manager passed by, I said that actually I was first and he said in a very patronizing manner that it was obvious the line was the other way around… and offered me to queue again! Wow shocking. I felt like he was thinking I am stupid. I am very disappointed. Cannot rate the food, I left the place immediately.

This was the worst dining experience of my life …and I’m 52! The service was beyond arrogant from arrival to departure- the food was terrible but the ambiance was like an airport departure lounge - please please trust in this review - Don’t Go!

The location was amazing and the waitress J. Ward was great. She was respectful and knowledgeable of the food and drinks menu. She offered recommendations. She made sure that we were enjoying the food and time at The Standard.

Good atmosphere, good service, but it feels forced that they are trying to sell. We ordered a 3-type sausage platter, it was okay, nothing special. Caesar salad was good - the lettuce was fresh and there was enough Parmesan. The main courses were not good. We ordered pork and steak, both dishes were tasteless and dry, and the steak was served with butter and lemon, which did not go well with the meat. Because of this, we gave up dessert.

Great location for post-High Line lunch on a freezing New Year’s Day. The food is fine and menu has a good range of options. We arrived early for our booking but they were happy to give us a table 30 mins ahead of schedule. The front bar area was virtually empty but sadly the service was slow - very unusual for NY. Left standing with our coats at our table before someone eventually took them from us. Our order came quickly and food was good enough. It was the small things that made it a less than great experience: - a request for fresh ground pepper seemed to cause problems - it took 5 minutes to arrive. - Coffees served with cake forks rather than teaspoons - a request for milk rather than cream caused further delay. - very keen to clear plates even though 2 guests still had lots of food on their plates. - no thanks or goodbye from staff when we left. Not sure I’d rush back.

We’ve been to the standard grill a handful of times and it never disappoints. This was the perfect spot for our Thursday night dinner to catch up with good company and even better food. The service is spectacular and the wine selection really compliments the menu. Chris and his staff really went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we had a great time. Our waiters Annalise and Matthew were so sweet and the sommelier Andrew was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend the crispy potatoes and sautéed spinach first sides. The scallops for the entrée is a staple and we’ve had that multiple times. Also, the little gem Caesar salad was on point! Definitely a New York staple that’s worth visiting multiple times!

The restaurant was a great vibe for date night !! The staff were great with wine recommendations and tastings. The host was very accommodating throughout the whole night. The room gave an old school feel and the food was easy non pretentious and super delicious.

The Standard Grill is really quite a lovely restaurant. My sister had visited prior and suggested that we dine there after a beautiful stroll along the High Line. Our waiter, Matthew S, approached us and asked for our drink orders. Upon receipt of our drinks, he quickly asked if we wanted to place our food orders. Just for reference, the place was very SLOW for a Thursday. Mary and I ordered 3 shared plates which were excellent and received quickly by the South American 🇺🇸 help.. Matthew S. was no where to be found. I had to order a glass of wine from a different waitor. Seriously, I was a waitress back in my younger days. Matthew is totally middle aged and I’m sure, this is his profession. I was better at 18 years old!😳 He is totally inattentive. His tip reflected his mediocre service. Matthew really should be delegated to the Biergarten. Much better for his level of service! Crappy and no real expectations! Sorry, I won’t recommend this p,ace!

Ate here for Christmas dinner with my wife and it was a truly delightful experience. We ordered the Tomahawk steak and it was one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. The service was wonderful and the overall ambiance was impeccable and made us feel very cozy for the holidays.

It is not easy to eat acceptably in Manhattan after covid. At least for me. This place is an exception. It's not the same as it was before the disaster, but it retains an acceptable quality that does not exist today in many other restaurants in the city.

For those visiting the pier area, this restaurant has good options for meat, hamburgers, pasta and salads. Various environments, from the loose to the formal. Prices a little higher, good service and a good place to eat.

My second time going and did not disappoint. The food was once again amazing I ordered the duck. It was exactly the way it was the last time. I was there about a year ago. The staff are so accommodating special thanks to Dion, Chris. Oscar and the manager Tim who booked our table And checked in on us, can’t wait for my third time

We went here for breakfast, and the food was fantastic! Comprehensive menu with something for everyone. We loved the ambiance and style with ceiling subway tiles and floors made of pennies. Our waiter, Stoyan, provided great service with a positive attitude. Highly recommend!

The Standard Grill is exceptional. We were looking for somewhere to go for Thanksgiving dinner and the menu for phenomenal. The atmosphere was top shelf NYC. The servers were all great - especially Elijah and Conner. We were made to feel like family - warm and friendly. The tables are not crowded at all like some NYC restaurants. The squah soup and brussel sprouts were our favorites and chocolate pecan tart was delicious.

Kade was awesome. My burger was overcooked and he handled the situation perfectly. The salad greens in the salad were so fresh.

This iconic NYC hot spot still lives up to the hype. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Chic, classy vibes in a spacious layout. The seafood triple decker is an impressive way to start the meal, and you can't go wrong with the steak, chicken, or duck for entrees. Great for celebrating a special event like a bday, but also intimate enough for a date. Chris Session, took incredible care of my friend's birthday dinner and I can't say enough good things about the restaurant and Chris! 10/10!

Was keen to experience the food and bingo night at the Standard Grill, we had a table booked for 9pm, we were told on arrival to wait at the bar as the table was not ready, 20 minutes in still not ready, 40 minutes the same response, we could see some people being seated and we eventually (after much asking) got a table at 10:10pm. There is a separate menu for Bingo night which was small but had some nice choices on it. The bingo night started OK, but there was a customer who wandered in and then proceeded to star at by daughter and made her feel threatened. The staff were quick to help us move to another part of the restaurant (We also collected plates and drinks) . The food was good and the gluten free burger was good. The long wait and the incident put a downer on the overall experience.

I attended dinner with a group of friends for my birthday and was given the royal treatment by VIP Director of Hospitality Chris Session and our wonderful server Nina! I can’t recommend The Standard Grill enough. From soup to nuts a great place to dine out at! I will definitely be back every chance I get!

This was recommended by a new yorker and so glad we went. Special place with great service, attentive staff and great food. It was my wife's birthday and they could not have been any more accommodating by making it a special morning. Food was great quality and reasonable. Would return here 100% next time we go. I would just like to thank the manager and security for their honesty when my wife misplaced her rings in the washroom. Would highly recommend this place to anyone going to New York. in a cool and trendy district you wouldn't be disappointed.

Another absolutely perfect experience at The Standard! This time we came for brunch. After ordering some (perfectly balanced) cocktails from the bar, we asked to sit outside since the weather was so nice, and got a table in the lovely outdoor area underneath a pergola. We started with some delicious items from the raw bar and then had some egg dishes. The hostess, server, and manager were all so professional - very attentive and super nice. The chill sexy vibe is what so many places want, but The Standard actually has! Really just a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend!

Had such a fantastic time at The Standard Grill the other evening! The food was delicious, my favorite being the Chicken Liver Royale. The Key Lime Gimlet was divine (I could have had 10) and the service was excellent. I will be back for sure and look forward to trying everything on the menu!

Staying at the standard and was excited to eat here. Wife and I had Saturday brunch. I ordered fresh OJ, espresso, and burger medium with egg. Was served espresso (not over extracted but not exceptional), grapefruit rather than OJ, and a burger that was cooked well done and an egg that was undercooked (whites were runny and not set). For $30 I was incredibly unimpressed - I would have enjoyed a burger from 5 guys far more than what I was served. Wife ordered shakshuka which came out ok. Our waiter was very polished and professional, but not very attentive (not his fault, but he was tending to too many tables to offer timely service, like checking in on us after our meal was served). In sum, food preparation was poor, I was served the incorrect beverage, and the value was very poor for the price. Ambience was nice and service experience was overall positive.

Everyone is amazing! Elijan is the best. The wine suggestions were on point, and the Dj knew his stuff. They are bringing back the NYC energy

The Ambience is really nice it’s the Perfect Place to take drinks with Friends. I highly recommend to come here when you are in New York! Chris was a Great Host.

Visited The Standard Grill for a brunch after a night at the Standard Hotel. It’s perfectly fine food in a nice, brightly lit environment. It was terribly cold outside, but the temperature inside the establishment was pleasant despite the large windows. We had servings of eggs prepared in the usual American ways, and they were delicious, like the coffee that went with them. The staff was attentive and prompt. It’s a nice place, not cheap but you pay for the quality of the food, space, and neighborhood.

We went to Standard Grill for brunch. We sat outside & it was lovely. You didn't feel like you were in NYC at all. We got the Spinach Florentine & the Crepe Suzette French Toast & shared them both. Both were delicious! Our server was very pleasant. We weren't rushed at all. It was a great way to start our day! We will definitely be back soon!!

Thank you to all the staff at Standard Grill. It was most definitely one of the best dining experiences. We were greeted by their lovely host, Seif, and had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful meal with Chris, The Hospitality Director. Thank you to all the excellent staff who came and warmly welcomed us, especially our servers, Griffin and Nina, who were extremely attentive. Everything from the cocktails, appetizers to our main course meals and dessert was amazing! It was a complicated menu to choose from. Luckily, we had Chris, whose expertise helped us navigate the menu, but I highly recommend the Colorado Rack of Lamb and Steak Tartare both were very memorable. The food and the ambiance made it a night forget.

Love! Great place to people watch and the food is delish. Brunch faves are the lobster roll, burger, sweet gem and steak tartare. Staff is on point and I love sitting under highline/near water and the Whitney. Beautiful location. (and the giant cocktail bowls are so fun! )

Worth the trip to Meatpacking! We weren’t super hungry, so we just had the burger and the fluke crudo. The burger lived up to the hype, and the fluke crudo was surprisingly good. Everything tasted fresh. The space itself is also gorgeous, with the dim lighting and wood accents. Very cozy for a cute date night. 10/10

The Standard Grill is better than ever. Had a celebratory dinner with friends. The food was amazing… fav appetizer was the snap pea and radish salad… the King Salmon was perfectly done with nice crispy skin… dessert was a toss up between the banana pudding or the apple crisp. The staff was terrific. Service was awesome. Yeah and the drinks were great… we had many! Will definitely be a regular spot!

Hosted a 50th Birthday Celebration for one of my best friends here, and everything was wonderful! We had an incredible culinary experience from start to finish, thanks to Chris Session and Chef Summer! I've already sent another friend to book The Standard Grill for their daughter's special event this spring. Each course was outstanding. The seafood tower was exceptional, and apps, entrees, and desserts were all top-tier. Get the banana pudding! Great beverage selection with fabulous mocktails for those who don't partake. The vegetable sides were delightful, but one drawback was that there was no actual vegan entree. Please add at least one vegan entree to the menu!

We called at The Standard Grill for breakfast before walking The Highline, and whilst the food was very good and the setting pleasant, the service was slow and a bit lacklustre. Arriving as a walk-in, we were seated promptly and provided with water whilst we considered the menu. Once our order was taken, it did take a while for our drinks and food to arrive, the latter being understandable since it included a shakshuka, which was very good, as was the pancake. A little later, we asked the waiter who was refilling our water for a second coffee, only for him to completely blank us and walk away. A few moments later, we asked the passing maitre d' if he could arrange another coffee, but rather than taking the order, he replied he would ask our server to take our do this. However, when our server reappeared, he simply said, "So you want the bill?" So we decided, yes, we would take the opportunity to pay and leave.

A group of 5 went here for brunch and it was outstanding. The spicy Bloody Mary was perfect, the food was delicious, and service was top notch. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are looking to get away from the “tourist” spots.

The best chicken parm sandwich I’ve had in a long time! The ingredients put together to make this master piece, was like any other! This new menu really slaps! The new Italian themed items the standard bar and grill has to offer really put me at a cross roads, it came down between choosing the lasagna or the penne vodka. I had to stick with a traditional quick sandwich because of the time I arrived, but maybe next time I will stick around for the diner menu, and chose off there. Our waitress, Annelise was so good to me. Very attentive and very punctual. Any time I needed anything she was there. Can’t get better service than that! I am very appreciative and will be returning with more friends. There was also a tall man dark and handsome who would come every now and then and check on me. He went as far as bringing me a drink with my lunch which went perfect with my chicken parm sandwich! Thank you! Thank you! Cannot wait to return!

I hosted a small, private group dinner for friends and family in "The Wine Room" of The Standard Grill on a Saturday night in February to celebrate a special occasion. I communicated with Jess by phone and email to work out menu details and she was always gracious, thoughtful, accommodating, and quick to reply. The space was tasteful, comfortable, and more importantly, quiet enough to allow guests to converse down the length of a long table. The food was amazing. Every course on the menu was conceived and prepared by chefs at the top of their game. The preparation and timing of the service were impeccable. Wouldn't have changed a thing! Thanks to all involved for a great evening! Given the neighborhood, the beautiful space, the reasonable portions, and the overall quality, this is a great value. If you are looking for a quiet and elegant venue to host a special occasion, I would book The Wine Room!

We had a late dinner and everything was excellent. The staff was attentive, especially Carlos, he made us feel like VIPs. The Stake was juicy, and the Vongole was a great!

My best friends and I went to celebrate a bridal shower. It was such a beautiful experience with the entire staff congratulating her. I want to shout out our wonderful server Dion. He checked up on us constantly and gave amazing recommendations. The food was to die for and atmosphere was so perfect for our little celebration. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

So happy to see the Standard Grill back to its former glory. I’m a nativeNY’r and was a regular when they first opened. In my opinion the standard is the only thing holding up the meatpacking district, especially after the OG Pastis closed. The food was elevated, but approachable and the service and Hospitality were truly five out of five stars! I’d like to note Dion who was our server. He was very attentive and professional. I’d also like to note Kera, a manager, who went out of her way to make us feel special and go the extra mile in exploring and explaining the menu. I wish they had their old cheese and charcuterie board, but I look forward to my next visit regardless. Keep up the great work! Kal

If you want a classic New York dining and nightlife experience, then The Standard Grill is IT! The ambience, decor and servers are full of personality and hospitality (Elijah, Mark and especially Chris) My friends & I just had dinner there 11/30 as a belated birthday celebration and everyone was more than pleased with the service and vibe. The lighting and the music made us feel like we were at an exclusive club! Now the food….The Standard Burger, the seafood ceviche, salmon and oysters were the crowd favorites. My birthday dessert faves were the apple crisp and the carrot ginger cake! So good!! Literally getting hungry now thinking about it all. I can speak for all of us when I say TSG knocked it out the Park!

I made a reservation for a visit with my family that was in town for a visit. I called the day day prior to make the reservation. When we arrived the hostess claimed she had no record of our reservation, and could not accommodate us. She was quite rude, and I will no longer be a patron here. It was a mortifying experience, and I would strong caution diners from visiting this establishment.

We were first greeted by fabulous Maitre D’ Chris who set the tone for a wonderful and fun evening with friends. Elijah and the supporting staff took care of us so greatly through the evening. They gave us great recommendations and made sure we had all we needed. The food was delicious, from appetizers to sweets. I had a super refreshing snow pea and radishes salad appetizer, and tasty salmon for main course. We shared some desserts for the table and I highly recommend the banoffee pie and the apple crisp. The craft cocktails were also super delish! The general manager, Steven, came by to check on us and gave great wine pairing recommendation with my entree. Just a wonderful evening with friends, good tunes and A+ ambiance!

Went for Thanksgiving dinner - the staff and assistants were attentive and happy to make the evening a special occasion. We got the salmon and crab linguine, highly recommend sharing for the table. Kade took care of us, made the night a special occasion for my group.

Had brunch at The Standard Grille with J. Ward as our server. She made our meal and experience perfect. So sweet and attentive. Knew the menu inside out. Definitely upped what would have been a good experience to great. Food and drinks were fantastic.

Had a lovely solo dinner outside and Gery was the best server to have this evening. The ambience on the patio was great for a cool night with a glass of wine and I had a great time even though I was by myself. Maybe it was the good positioning for people watching, but I also felt like I had enough space to myself to enjoy doing some writing. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a nice dinner with friends in a cool luxurious environment. The staff were great. Very friendly, welcoming and super attentive. There was a DJ playing some great music which added to the ambiance but didn’t disturb our ability to talk. Elijah was our server and made some great recommendations. The Snow Pea & Radish Salad was one of my favorite dishes. Both me and my friend described it as “refreshing.” I also had the King Crab Linguine, which was very filling and delicious. Overall this experience served as a memorable nice night with friends.

I hosted 16 colleagues for our annual holiday party in the Wine Room on Thurs. evening. I worked with Jess and Chris to set up the details. I'm a perfectionist and I definitely worked them hard! They were gracious and met every request with a thoughtful reply. If they couldn't meet a request, they found a good solution that delivered great results. On game night, the staff (Diamond; Andrew; et al) also delivered well. They were attentive, professional, good-natured, and present when I needed them. The meal and coursing were on point as well. I would be happy to recommend The Grill's private dining to others! Thanks again for a terrific evening and event for me and my team.

My family and I went to The Standard Grill on Saturday and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. The entire staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We ordered king crab linguine and the chicken for two, with a couple of drinks, and all were delicious. We had a peanut butter cake and the chocolate chip cookies with milk for dessert and both were fantastic. Thank you to the wait staff, bartender and host for making it a memorable night. If in the city, stop by The Standard Grill, it is a must! We can’t wait to go back.

I had the pleasure of dining here with my family during my latest visit to New York. The service was top tier, Ron treated us like family and everything we ordered was excellent. Went with my partner for a celebration dinner we weren’t disappointed. To start things off we tried the French Seventy-Five cocktail and grins quickly became beaming smiles. We shared some apps including the steak tartare (delicious) and the burrata which melts in your mouth. If you want something light go for the king crab linguine and thank me when you run in to me there again! Call and ask for Chris and he will make sure your meal becomes an experience! Going back for sure!!

This was my first time going to Standard Grill. I must say it’s probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m glad my friends decided to take me there for my birthday. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. My server Gery was knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. The manager Chris was also friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to go out, have a great meal and overall good time. I can’t wait to go back!!
