Great Quality Sandwiches

By Luv_TravelSanJose_CA |

Great Turkey sandwich on whole grain bread. The meat was delicious. My only suggestion would be to have more sauces. My sis got an everything bagel sandwich, which was even better than mine. The sandwiches are packaged up very nicely for transport, which was just what I wanted for my plane ride home. I also got a large chocolate chip cookie. Yum! I have my eye on their chocolate cake. Next time!

Great option for a quick snack

By Nimai Hari |

This location was right across from our hotel and offered a tremendous number of options. We stopped by here for breakfast every morning and the food was delicious. It had a wide variety of options - I happened to get salmon lox every morning and hit the spot every time.

Great deli and eatery

By GL726 |

Was in town for a week on business trip. Came here several times for breakfast or lunch. Food was fresh and outstanding. A bit pricey, but it's NYC...

Good but pricey

By Wielluan |

There is a good choice of food and the food is pretty good. The pancakes are exatly what to expect as real US pancakes. Toasts and eggs are also good. So, food in general is ok. The guys cooking the food are really friendly but the people at the cassier are just in for the moeny as it feels, sum up your order quick and pay quick. If you still want to choose a type of coffee they roll with their eyes as it is not going quick enough. As you are really in the city center and close to Time Square, expect prices to be very high. A breakfast for a family of 4 (incl. 2 kids), expect to pay around $160 and probably you haven't eaten enough yet.

Cakes

By Rajaa L |

The chocolate cake was soggy and but alright the fondant was disgusting on it, like taffy. The Napoleon is the worst I don’t recommend this place for dessert I’ve been in a hunt for a Napoleon but was disappointed with this bakery the Napoleon tasted like eggs and was soggy. The mixture was like mucus texture. Disappointed and no returns and exchanges So I see why they have that rule. Given one star because the chocolate cake was eatable.

Best breakfast

The best bagels! Handmade bagels with toppings to suit your taste. Very friendly and the cheesecake was great too.

Great Breakfast at Times Eatery

By Debbi O |

Excellent breakfast & lunch location on 8th near many of the Theaters. Made to order breakfast items, delicious muffins, bagels. Very friendly & efficient staff. Definitely would recommend!

Best in town!!!

By RAJ1971 |

We had a five day stay in New York and came here every day for breakfast. Good food and good service!! Bagels and cheesecake were to die for!! Always busy, but then that shows how good the food is. Would highly recommend if you’re in town!!!

Freshness in Times Square!

By sofgde |

Fresh salads to make yourself: delicious to take to the hotel room after a day of hot dogs and hamburgers!

Friendly staff and tasty food

By Ellie K |

The staff were very friendly and the portion sizes were great. The lox bagel was fairly expensive but really nice with loads of smoked salmon. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was packed full and good value with great taste. We loved sitting by the window people watching.

Great food and coffee & cheesecakes

By mrshsr |

We were in New York for 7 days and this deli saved us, as it was close to our hotel. Loved their food, we had bagels, muffins, cheesecakes and also got takeaways every night after a long day of sight seeing. It was always busy, great coffee and definitely would go again n recommend it xx

Gorgeous pancakes . Stayed

By Clay |

Gorgeous pancakes . Stayed in Westin across the road and came for breakfast. Got to be some of the best pancakes I have had. And the cakes and pastries look incredible.

Typical NYC Eatery

By Kuvasz1988 |

Food is very tasty. It is in a great location on 8th Avenue. Service is quick. Food selection is abundant. Seating is tight Good choice for a quick breakfast

Great cafe for quick breakfast or snack!

By ParadiseNets78 |

We were staying in the Westin over the road so came here most days for a quick breakfast on the go, always got a seat and a smile, freshly cooked pancakes, sandwiches and I loved the bagels! Even called for a late night cake fix! Can be pricey as there was 4 of us but always good quality and you’re in New York City so everything is expensive!

Rude

By slpsomm |

The food is very good, but all but one employee was RUDE!! It is NYC, but they were very RUDE to us and others in the restaurant.

Great food and location

By BrennaW |

Our last morning in NYC finally convinced my crowd to just go across the street for breakfast. Wish we had done it every morning. Fantastic service and food. We ordered a breakfast platter and pancakes with strawberries. It was all so good and staff are phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Quick Bite and Good Food

By Emily Thomas |

Quick bite with good flavor. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Small table seating so be aware when ordering. Thankfully we were able to find a small table for my husband and I without problem. Nice atmosphere!

Worth a visit

By DeeJaneC |

The service was really friendly and the premises appeared to be very clean. We enjoyed the food and drink that they provided and would go back again.

Can't go wrong here.

By Martin R |

Comfortable place to eat, sfaff were very welcoming and the food was very good. Lots of breakfast choices which included, bagels, croissants with various fillings, pancakes, omelette, bacon etc. Dinner choices included hot pasta with a good looking fresh salad bar with burgers also available. Quite pricey but everything in New York was expensive.

Great little place

By Tony S. |

What a little gem this place turned out to be. Great for breakfast to sit in or take away (ideal if your staying at the West Inn times square). The place was always busy and everyone was helpful / friendly with seating etc. Had a few meals in the evening great quality and a very reasonably priced and a great selection of food. I've got two fusy eating children and they loved it. 5 stars.

Our "go-to breakfast bar

By 288Eurotravels |

Just across from our hotel a very convenient place for breakfast before setting off on a day of site seeing. Offered a wide range of choices which easily met the needs of seven-strong group with ages spanning some 6 decades. Quick, friendly service and reasonable prices. An easy choice to make each morning

Espresso coffee

By sara f |

We stopped at this place for a coffee break and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed an excellent espresso, among the best tried in New York, accompanied by soft and delicious muffins. Quick and courteous service, with prices fully in line with the city.

Times eatery

By L-M B |

Nice little place for lunch , well located. Unfortunately there are not many places to settle on site but on the other hand the sweet and savoury counter does not so much end there is choice. Bagel, French toast, pancakes everything was very good! Too bad it is served in cardboard dishes.

Absolutely fabulous 👌

By Fee |

Stumbled across this little gem and what a find. Sitting in the window watching the city go by eating super food. From pancakes to filled croissants and super cakes and above all, friendly, welcoming staff who know you after one day 😀

Good breakfast

By patricia w |

Nice small place. Bustles in the morning. Great eggs, pancakes and pastries. Reasonably priced. A nyc find in my book.

Muffins

By ruselton09@me.com |

They variety of fresh baked goods. I had the Blueberry crumble muffin and they are incredible and inexpensive.

Not bad

By TAMAN1951 |

Convenient to the hotel snd the counter service is very polite. Fair pricing. Bagels are pretty good and the black and whites seem fresh. Ham and cheese croissants are nice and fresh as well.

American breakfasts

By mincio75 |

Excellent service, excellent and typical American breakfasts, fair value for money; just minutes from Times Square.

A Great Little Eatery

By Brendan W |

We loved this place. Friendly staff, great food selection. Coffee was excellent and so were the bagels. You can order your own bagel sandwiches with whatever you want in them. They come real quick. We loved sitting in the window and watching Times Square go by. We were always early in the morning and never found it crowded but later in the day I’m sure it does get busy which is understandable. This delightful place was our go to for breakfast throughout our stay in NYC. Highly recommended but best get there early.

Old school

By Lorenzo P68 |

This place is proof that you can eat traditional food even just a few steps from TS. It is a typical, slightly old school deli where we devoured some delicious freshly prepared bagels. I recommend you sit on the stools and eat while watching the people go by. Very friendly staff and lots of choice. I'm reevaluating the importance of pickles in my diet.

Decent Food, but Nothing Special

By D. Spahr |

We visited Times Eatery in New York, and while the food was generally fine, it unfortunately didn’t stand out. The dishes were okay but lacked anything particularly memorable or unique. We also tried the cheesecake, which was rather disappointing it didn’t taste especially fresh, and you can certainly find a much better one elsewhere in the city. Overall, a reasonable stop if you’re already nearby, but not a place we would specifically recommend for those looking for a great dining experience in New York.

Casual cafe

By Rmtinz |

A very ordinary cafe. It was right in front of the hotel, so we went there for breakfast. It's a casual place. You sit at any available table in the store and order at the counter. Takeout is also available. We only went there for breakfast, but it seems convenient because it's open from morning to night.

Must go for breakfast

By giovanni l |

A very nice place where to have breakfast; fresh and tasty food, greek yogurt, high quality orange juice, quick service and very very nice people to serve you by the desk. Last but not least, not just the best espresso coffee in New York but the best espresso out of Italy. That said by an Italian.

Breakfast

By Rachael T |

What a great find amongst the metropolis of Time Square! Great food, Great Service at a reasonable price for NY. My hubby had pancakes with every choice going, I had a bacon bap. Two coffees and this set us up for the day.

Great small restaurant

By Aimee |

This small restaurant was a great find. The breakfast was brilliant and you could sit in and take away. All the burgers were really delicious, the cakes were absolutely gorgeous too! Everything was reasonably priced and something for everyone to try. The place was always busy which reflects the quality of the food. The staff were friendly, restaurant was clean and the food was served fairly quickly. Me and my family stayed over the road at the Westin Times Square hotel so, if your staying nearby go and try some of the food! Really recommend.

Best bagels and coffe!

By deborahnails |

The food is fantastic! Service as if they have known you forever. Highly recommend! The cappuccino is perfection. Plenty of seating.

Check your order!

By Robin W |

The food quality is OK but we were short in our order by one sandwich, telling them 4 times what we wanted! They're too busy and it's all too rushed! We couldn't check the order properly and you couldn't see what they were packing, sorry not again, beware tourists, this isn't cheap food to kiss out on!

Decent lunchtime sandwiches in classic NYC deli interior next to Times Square

By christopherbO9687MP |

The Times Eatery provides decent lunchtime sandwiches in a classic NYC deli interior located next to Times Square. I was on my way to one of the adjacent movie theaters (there are also many theaters in this neighborhood), and stopped in for a quick lunch. The crispy chicken sandwich I ordered was prepared promptly; I appreciated I could make my movie time and that the sandwich + classic pickle was pretty good. Unlike some of the other Times Square eateries, this place actually looks like a NYC deli both inside and outside& out. I was here on a busy holiday period weekday, and still was able to grab one of the indoors seat. The prices aren't too bad (for New York). A good choice if you're in Times Square and are looking for a decent deli.

A nice location - espresso from a barista machine: you could not expect more

By HeinBloed |

We just wanted to warm up for an espresso. The treatment was typical New York—not the most cordial. It was stressful because they only liked to rush to generate high revenue.

Decent traditional deli restaurant near Times Square & Bus Terminal

By christopherbO9687MP |

The Times Eatery proived a decent traditional deli restaurant near Times Square & the main Bus Terminal. They have the usual deli counters, with a wide variety of cold & hot sandwhich prepared to your order. Bth indoor & outside sidwalk seating is avaalble. The food & service were both decent.

It's fine.

Three times we went we loved everything we ate pasta that they make at the moment the very friendly staff speak Spanish I highly recommend

Gorgeous pancakes - just across

By Love-To-Travel |

Gorgeous pancakes - just across the road from our hotel - poped in for a breakfast. The strawberry pancakes were incredible, so light and fluffy. Stoped in on the way back to the hotel the next night and just had to sample the cheesecakes also incredible. Would defiantly recommend.

Great choice if you're in hurry---or not.

By Valleyblue |

Lots of good choices, great for a quick bite, the food was quite good and reasonably priced. Fast service. Although I didn't try them, the desserts looked really good!

Surprisingly delicious

By TAMAN1951 |

Count ER service offering a good breakfast selection. Eggs were prepared exactly as the ones on display. Loved the french toast breakfast sandwich. Great flavor. Excellent bagels. Reasonable prices. Seating is a little tight.

Rude workers

By Şahmar Ə |

I was waiting for my friend in the restaurant and my friend got here after couple minutes one of the worker came and started to rush us to order while we were talking in rude way. Never ever gonna come here again when i have 1000 other choices

Excellent Service and New York Food

By nolo |

The staff was super attentive since we were received, we followed the recommendations of the staff and the food was delicious.

Nice surprise

By Raf48 |

Classic American fast food. We ate pastrami and found it good as well as plentiful. Quick service, clean local, adequate costs to the square, so not cheap

Little gem really nice food - all cooked fresh and in front of you

By 8n5 |

We visited the cafe after staying across the road in the Westin hotel. Great little find the food was amazing and cost much less than at the hotel. We ate in there a few times and sampled the pancakes, omelettes, bagels, scrambled and fried eggs. All the food is cooked fresh in front of you which I loved! The muffins (especially blueberry crumb) were amazing!

Good place to warm up

By Ove S |
