Must get the crab cakes

By Lisa P |

The food, especially anything with crab was delicious and fresh-tasting. The crab cakes were the highlight.

Perfect Pre Theater Sunday Brunch

By rsgreenct |

Pre theater Sunday Brunch - a winner. Food was great, service was excellent. Low key live music in a casual atmosphere. The crab cakes were perfect. I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay, so I'm a crab cake "snob". Finished with Key Lime pie. We will add this to our list of NYC go to spots.

Slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww Service

By Mike B |

We had 5:30pm reservations for a Saturday night and arrived at 5:10 pm. Seated at 5:40pm. Odd as it was crowded early and slowed down when we left at 7pm. Food excellent. Everything. The coconut shrimp and scallop sliders as well as the sanibel chicken and ahi tuna. Also the dessert and drinks. Service was also very good. My only complaint was the long wait for a table and then drinks and then apps etc etc.

Hosted a great Reception here

By Stefania T |

The staff at Tommy Bahama on 5th Avenue are great. They helped me set up a small reception in less than 48 hours, very efficient. The bar downstairs is great, great top shelf drinks. The food was AMAZING - the entire group was impressed. We were greeted at the door by staff and when we got to our area - we could see 5th Avenue, hear the music and we were not rushed in any way. The food and drinks came out in a reasonable time, we were able to settle in and chat for a bit before the food came out. Our drinks were immediately brought out. If you are looking for a place to host a reception. This place is great and very reasonably priced!! Thank you again and I will ABSOLUTELY recommend Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar on 5th to all my colleagues and friends.

Island oasis in the heart of 5th Ave - get your mai tai on

By Carolyn R |

Okay, first off, have to admit that we love Tommy Bahama restuarants with our favorite being the one in Wailea. We also lvoe the one in Newport Beach. So when we found out there was a Tommy B's in NYC, we were excited. The setup is very different than in Hawaii or California. On the bottom level is the store and a Marlin Bar. You get to the restaurant through the store (elevator or stairs). If felt like a secret entrance. From the exterior, you realize it's a Tommy Bahama store, but you'd have no idea that it was a restaurant too. The inside of the restaurant is a classic Tommy B design. When we dined for a late lunch, there were like two other people there. The soundproofing in the restaurant is amazing! You can barely hear the loud NYC noises from outside. The menu is pretty much like the other restaurants but we were disappointed they don't offer their amazing bread and honey butter. Food was good as was the service, and can you ever go wrong with a Tommy Bahama Mai Tai? No. It was a nice oasis in the city from all of the outside business. I think people don't realize that it's there. Which is a shame. I'm not sure the Tommy B island vibe is a NY thing. Maybe you have to be a West Coaster to dig it? We had a nice meal and did enjoy being there, but it really didn't feel the same as when we've dined at the warmer climate locations. I think maybe they need to work harder to bring in the island vibe to the location.

Love the coconut shrimp

By Cindy L |

This is always a must while in NYC, we go for the coconut shrimp and the coconut cloud martini. (Reminds us of when we would go to Laguna Beach in CA) Service is always excellent, great food and drink choices.

Father's Day 2018

By Caren J |

good food, relaxing décor, very nice staff, warm feeling when you enter very much like being in the Caribbean; reservation is recommended; you can actually have a conversation; the first floor offers the ability just hang out by the bar with a few table and chairs; the second floor is where you go if you made a reservation

Bread served upon request only!

By Mike B |

Please take the title as a cautionary tale. Food really good. Service good. Kima Big wave really cold. Their bread is excellent. But you must ask for it or it won't be served! What a shame. No one around me had it. I suggest that the menu explain this policy.

Good food

By Diana Z |

Had a great time. The food was great. Very cute place. I would come back again. We went with seven girls and everyone liked their food.

Fantastic Bar experience!

By JacksonSue |

Stopped in for coconut martinis- best I have ever had !!! Tiffany our bartender was excellent, attentive and professional. Huge asset to this lovely bar. A great place for business or social . Thanks Tiffany - girls from NJ.

Excellent shopping

By marcdanen |

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very extensive product range and superb quality. Is more than susceptible to repetition

TB NYC

By Bhob |

Very friendly staff. Excellent food and good music too. We ate early, pre theater and enjoyed our visit very much. We often eat at the TB on Maui and so thought we would try an urban location. We were not disappointed.

Very Noisy!

By GlobeBiker141 |

Enjoyed lunch with a friend, but it was so loud we could not hear each other. Had the grilled chicken mango salad and the ahi tuna bowl. Service and food was very was good, but will ask for a different table, if there is one, away from the loudest part of the restaurant.

Great atmosphere and food

By lcheynet |

We enjoyed dinning at Tommy Bahama. The decoration was great. The food was original, light, tasty. We enjoyed the Halibut Ceviche, Fish tacos and Filet mignon salad.

Nice Dining Spot on Fifth Avenue

By NevskyNY |

Very good food. Relaxing atmosphere. The service is good. The Kona Coffee Crusted Rib Eye is excellent. The Bok Choy and Mushrooms is delicious. Do not skip dessert. Great Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Tarte (not sure of exact name).

Great surprise

By Zeta L |

We were looking for a place to watch the soccer world cup today; walking down 5th avenue we entered a nice bar and never saw the name om it. It turned out to be Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant where we had never been before. What a great surprise! Amazing food, excellent service! Raul the bartender: Great guy from Domenican Republic! Absolutely recommend the Cilantro & Ginger Crusted Mahi Mahi!

Best fresh eating in NY

By JulianaNZ |

Actually this was the best in USA - nice fresh food! Fish! The servings are USA sized so we stuck to entrees and they were delicious. Nice selection of wine, we shared a desert. We had dinner here before a show - service was fast and staff attentive. The we had a lunch on our last day. Bonus is the shop downstairs - quite dangerous to the credit card!

Tommy Bahama, New York City on 5th Ave

By Bob |

We stopped off in the clothing store - wow - loved everything. Then popped next door to the Tommy bar - fantastic cocktails - the MaiTai is probably the best recipe of this classic drink - perfect!

Must Eat

By jennymaddox99 |

We really enjoyed Tommy Bahama. When we went, it was not crowded at all. The atmosphere was upscale, but laid back. There was also live entertainment that added to the experience. The food was delicious!

Drinks, shopping, and dinner

By MD |

This was not our first trip, and we’ve always had a good experience. Not tonight. The bar staff ignored us, and we had to go to the bar repeatedly for service. We bought a few things in the store and went upstairs for our dinner reservation. To be fair, dinner—when we finally got it after over an hour’s wait—was delicious. But the waiter clearly screwed up and didn’t own it. Everyone around us came in after we did, and all ate (appetizers and all) and left before we got our food—after we complained. Nothing was offered except a limp apology. Too bad. I doubt we’ll go out of our way to go back.

Nice ambiance, good food & drinks

By anonymousnyc2018 |

Tropical island-inspired interior, nice ambiance, great cocktails, good food, though sometimes a bit on a salty side for my personal taste. Good service, too. Happy Hour (4-6pm daily) offers some of their signature cocktails and appetizers at a discounted price. Have been dining here since it opened in NYC, never got disappointed.

Wonderful Waitresful

By Potato K |

Best waitress ever (actually the manager ). She gave us the best experience possible and made our time great. She was really nice and AMAZING music next to us. The food was amazing and very well presented. Highly recommend this place. The vibes and environment were great. Servers are very respectful and are fast to serve.

New Years in New York

By carolmilani |

After a long day we were looking for a place to have a small bite before returning to the hotel. We came across to me Bahamas restaurant and decided that we would eat there. There was an excellent food choice and it was good and the food quality was excellent too. We kind off made a mess with our cocktails but the remained calm an friendly We really enjoyed our stay and will probably return

Fabulous cocktails!

By Hari B |

We were so pleased we came across the bar, especially as it was happy hour! Fabulous yummy cocktails - you’ve got to try the Grapefruit and Basil Martini. Great staff, nice relaxing place to sit and chill out.

Defs give this a try for a great meal

By DaveOz54 |

We went based on our respect for the clothing label and the menu we saw online. We were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was great, the service outstanding but best of all the food was GREAT. Highly recommended.

Cautionary Tale

By Mike B |

First let me state that the food was excellent. My Miso Salmon and my wife's Sanibel Chicken tasted great. What I didn't like was how management operates. We were seated promptly and then waited...and waited and waited a bit more. Servor arrives and takes drink order. And then we waited and waited...She delivers the drinks and takes our orders. Seems promising. After 15 minutes, the food doesn't arrive. But the bread for the table does. I notice this is done all around us. After another 15 minutes, the food arrives. Service painfully slow. It also did not help that our entrees was delivered to the table besides us. The server then tells us that we didn't see what just happened. Again, the food was excellent.

Lots of good food and beverages. Relaxed atmosphere with great staff.

By kathypanetta |

Love going there after a day of shopping in New York. Staff is great, food is delicious and the drinks are wonderful!

Good food, good ambiance, good drinks!

By Thelma2193 |

This restaurant is what you would expect from Tommy Bahama. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, good food and good drinks...we really enjoyed our meal.

Give it a try

By Alzo-the-Rocks |

Great food good atmosphere and attentive staff would recommend a visit the happy hour menu is also great worth attending

Very average

By alkimadrid |

I went with a friend for dinner , having high expectations after reading the reviews. But it was a big disappointment. The waiter was really uninterested in what she was doing, passing by only to take the order and serve the food. It took her half an hour, literally, to bring the main course after the appetizer. The food was just OK, nothing great. There are so many better places in NYC.

Great

By JT31 |

Brilliant. Great service and good food . Will return whenever possible. Bar staff most excellent. Good value for Manhattan.

Fish tacos

By Nik209 |

Been twice, had fish tacos twice, will do so again. 3 soft tacos with a fresh zing to them. A favourite spot for that tropical/Florida vibe regardless of the weather

Good.

By Aiola |

Very friendly home cooking. Perfect location on Fifth Avenue, personal with small onions, and in addition a small concert of music to accompany a very pleasant meal.

Glad They're Back Open

By Cap Y |

I was disappointed that they no longer have key lime martini on the menu. The main reason for my visit (aside from dinner) was to have a few. I was so looking forward to having them. They are ABSOLUTELY delicious!! Otherwise, great food/fun place.

Great atmosphere with wonderful service, inventive drinks and high quality food.

By zachnyc |

Visited both the bar and the restaurant for different events on consecutive days. The manager David is very welcoming and helping and the entire staff friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is surprisingly upscale with a good size bar and multiple dining rooms upstairs. There is a wonderful room available for private dining for about 25 people. We did a tasting of various cocktails and they were all made masterfully and we incredibly tasty. The food that was served was both inventive and high quality and included many Caribbean, Mexican and Hawaiian specialties. We will definitely return for a more a la carte experience!

Great go to restaurant

By LBMH |

Saw the restaurant above the store whilst shopping and thought we would give it a try. Definitely not disappoint - great food, wine list and service.... cocktail bar downstairs and restaurant upstairs with live music. Great atmosphere and food too! Definitely worth a visit.

Average tourist and business themed restaurant

By Michael D |

Had fish tacos, which were very good, but food was very expensive for what you got. Plenty of local business people and tourists to keep the place full, but typical themes restaurant with just average food and cute decor. Service was good though.

Excellent clothes shopping!

By Helen S |

Shopping for clothes was a delightful experience in new York recently at Tommy Bahama. Lynda looked after me so very well - quickly establishing my style and sizes, offering great suggestions and fun discussions along the way. I left having added some excellent pieces to my summer wardrobe. Thank you! I shall be back both in New York and in Sydney!

Good food, drinks

By Cindy L |

I had a reservation, but had to wait a bit. No problem; they were crazy busy! I had my usual coconut cloud drink and a great meal. The service was great as always. I can hardly wait to come back.

A mystery of what looks like a clothes shop which turns out to be a bar restaurant with lovely entertainment

By mushIreland |

What a hidden gem a beautiful bar and restaurant that is on 2 floors beautiful decor and a beautiful girl singing think her name was Abby with the voice of an angel as you eat drink or just chat with friends great staff and lovely food

Dinner time

By Anya V |

Food was super tasty. Service was fast and great. Great location. This place is a must. Will visit again :)

FRIENDLY STAFF!!

By jjonjonjon |

I’m what I call a 20 minute shopper: if I can’t find anything in 20 minutes, I start to get impatient and want to leave. Since Joel has helped me the last dozen or so times I’ve been in, he has made my experience positive each and every time. When he helps, I don’t mind going 30 minutes! His knowledge of products and his knowing of my 20 minute window of tolerance has gotten me to buy much more than I’ve needed or wanted. THANK YOU JOEL!!! I love wearing your brand all the time! And I appreciate the rest of the friendly staff standing by to answer a question or lend a hand(I really don’t like shopping!!).

Fantastic Dinner

By mikepYarm_UK |

Booked for dinner on our last night of a 6 day trip. It turned out to be a fantastic time from amazing cocktails to live music and superb food and service. A truly great evening. Highly recommended.

Good food but not child friendly

By Metty69 |

We tried here as it was close to our hotel my two boys struggled a bit with the menu they managed to find something they were happy to try but it was rather expensive when they weren’t sure they’d like it. It was a nice lively place with live music playing I just don’t feel it was suitable for children/ teenagers.

Such great potential

By jerkyboybrit |

Mixed feelings about score rating here. Place is great, fabulous location. Excellent decor, very funky. Food was excellent, we both had wagyu burgers which were delicious. Whilst the staff were all very pleasant, place has a feeling of disorganisation, we arrived and wanted a drink at the bar first, this confused them. When we asked to be taken to table, seemed to be a bit disjointed with nobody seemingly knowing what was going on. I think with some better management this place would rock

Great place excellent food

By PortsmouthNHCouple |

We went on a Friday evening and could not have been happier. The atmosphere is light and casual, the service excellent and the food very good and hot when served. We had the mahi mahi and rib eye and the pineapple creme brulee for desert. Even though this is a chain I highly recommend it.

Hidden Gem!

By Nomad601588 |

Excellent service. Food was incredible and great selection of drinks. We can’t wait to go back. Please build one in Boston.

Years of great food - Finally got around to a review

By stephrab |

We have been coming to Tommy Bahama in Manhattan for many years. We come multiple times a year. We are "foodies" so that is saying something about the restaurant. The food is consistently of the highest quality. The drinks are always expertly done. In all the years we have never had an issue with service. The manager is always on the floor and stopped by table on a regular basis to check in. You have multiple options on where to sit. You SHOULD make a reservation as the restaurant is almost always full.

Great times!

By Crewgirl17 |

Super fun store to shop and even better you can enjoy a drink and a “ pupu” while deciding which clothes make the final cut!

Delicious lunch

By Irvinggetthecar |

I'm a regular at Tommy Bahamas in Palm Desert have never been to the one in New York City this location is beautifully decorated the staff is lovely in the food was just delicious the place is completely packed it is a bit noisy and some of their tables for two are very wide apart so you have to bend over the table in order to have the conversation so if you have any kind of hearing issues ask them when you make your reservation to tuck you in a corner otherwise everything was delicious.

Good food and athmosphere

By Sólveig G |

Nice treat from the hustle. We just came across this place as we were walking. There is a bar on the first floor and the restaurant is up on the second floor. Such a pleasant surprise. There was live music and the athmosphere was really nice. The food was also very good. Recommend!

Avoid Restaurant for Larger Parties

By Mark---MXM |

Had corporate luncheon on May 3rd for party of 12. Food was good, but service was poor and terribly slow. We won’t be back. Wanted 12:30pm reservation, but restaurant pushed for 12pm saying that the kitchen gets awfully busy around 1pm. We agreed. Big mistake. Had appetizers, but then took 40 minutes for entrees to be brought ... around 1:25pm and it took nearly 10 minutes for 1 person to bring every one of the 12 entrees. Another 30 minutes before server came by for dessert order. And had to search for waitress to get check. Embarassing and inexcusable for pricey restaurant. Didn’t depart restaurant till 2:45pm. Clearly, the restaurant has no interest in corporate customers. Amazing in light of cost that exceeded $700. My company won’t be back. Food was fine, and can’t speak of how it would be for party of 2 or 4.

Very nice discovery

By Constant |

Discovered thanks to Trip Advisor right next to our hotel. Very nice discovery, home cooking, fresh products, and especially original dishes. Desserts are extraordinary , pineapple crème brûlée and lime pie are killings.... A real treat, a beautiful discovery, more than reasonable prices (for New York and Fifth Avenue...😉). To taste without hesitation

Excellent Food & great atmosphere

By Wendyshealthylife |

The food was absolutely great. I had the king salmon salad and it was delicious! The waiter was friendly and attentive. Fun place to go for a great lunch.

Fantastic lunch!

By KarenandPaul2012 |

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance and it was simply delicious! My partner had the wagyu burger and said it was the best burger he had EVER tasted, I had the salmon with quinoa and mango salsa salad which was also delicious. Cocktails were ok, service a bit slow, but the food more than made up for this. Highly recommend.

Great!

By Thomas B |

Didn’t expect I’d enjoy this place as much as I did. Love the brand so I had to enjoy this while I was in NY.

Wonderful

By AB999 |

One of the culinary highlights of our recent trip to New York. The restaurant itself has a very relaxing and smart atmosphere. The menu is varied and interesting. Service was great. There was a special offer of a free beer for Fathers Day, but don’t think that has affected my view at all. I was very impressed.

Fabulous

By carolesea56 |

We ate here as my friend loves the Chain and the food. It was all new to me. We shopped then ate. The whole tropical theme I loved and the music added to the ambience. We ordered cocktails and coconut shrimp to start. I had the crusted sanibel chicken with a red pepper and cheese sauce followed by key lime pie. My friend had the Tommy waygu burger. The food was simply delicious and the service attentive. The location is great too. Would love to return one day.

Some of the food is good...but this is more about see and be seen culture.

By Lini M |

I have come several times to this restaurant with my kid. We enjoy sitting down for brunch whenever we are in the area. I think some of the items are good, sliders, coconut shrimp but is more of a hit or miss. Cocktails are the main attraction here...and also it is one of those places where are lot of polo wearing people go. Its about people seeing you eating there, is not about actually very good food. So, if you expect great tasting food...not the place. Clean line and classy ambience, very bougie...then yes go here.

Vegan Lunch

By Veda R |

Had a delicious lunch here! I had a roasted veggie salad 😋 Fun atmosphere and good service. Make reservations ... very busy!

Outstanding!

By Ezra R |

Hidden gem in NYC! One of the few places to grab drinks in midtown directly in 5th avenue. Their happy hour is among the best in the city for the quality, price and service. The style and attitude ("life is one long weekend") of the place are also stellar. Travis, Jared and other staff are top-notch in their service. This place is even more untouchable when you join the Island Club, which grants you even more high-quality perks! Cheers!!! Also, a great spot for parties. I threw my birthday party here this past weekend and ordered a full pina colada cake. It was a hit especially with the live music too!

Marlin Bar

By maddens20182023 |

Excellent atmosphere. Island feel without the touristy gimmicks. A bit classier for sure and aligns nicely with the brand.

Great Restaurant

By ronhertz |

Great food wonderful atmosphere and best service in town. Love the bar at night good music with an island feel.

A wonderful oasis in Manhattan

By Greg B |

This is one of Manhattan’s hidden gems. Away from the chaotic crowds of Rockefeller Center and Times Square, this relaxed, nurturing restaurant is a real tropical oasis in the heart of New York. We enjoyed the steak sandwiches with fried onions and horseradish mayonnaise, served with delicious fries ($18). The sandwiches were outstanding and were so much food we saved half the sandwich for dinner. Really friendly service and an outstanding menu both for food and drinks.

Regular visit

By darrtinv |

I am a regular visitor to all Tommy stores around the country and love my regular visits to NYC. Always a great selection and great customer service.

Relaxed and Took a Load Off @ Tommy Bahamas

By Steve Richards |

Enjoyed some peace and quiet with a Titos and Tonic and a lobster roll. Environment was nice, bar tender was nice, people at the bar were nice. How nice it that? We enjoyed an hour there before heading back to the real world.

Not so good

By Arnold C |

Restaurant week menu looked better than it tasted. The food came out cold and had no tatse and the service was very very slow. Don't bother going there.

An enjoyable time

By Cindy L |

We stopped by twice; one night we stopped in at the bar for a coconut cloud martini and another night we stopped by for dinner. Great service, food, drinks.

Great Lunch

By David H |

After walking & shopping around on Fifth Ave, dies not want to have a fast food. Instead, would like to sit down to rest and enjoy a good lunch. Thus we found this nice restaurant on the second floor of Tommy Bahama Store. The food is tropical fusion with a lot of seafoods and drinks (of course, with delicious steak as well). Ordered the coconut shrimp, Ahi tuna and crab cake plus a cocktail and salad. What else can you ask for in a busy 5th Ave. of Big Apple.

Happy hour

By sandy h |

Pleasantly surprised & affordable. Great food & cocktails in a cool atmosphere plus live music. Very friendly wait staff.

visit

By richjacoby |

Relaxing & Delicious

By MichaelKym4007 |

After excellent service at the Tommy Bahama store, we were recommended to go upstairs to the restaurant. The food and service is excellent. The drinks are exciting and a pleasure to enjoy. We will be back.

Very good experience

By jean-marc L |

The building is imposing. On the ground floor there is a beautiful clothing store and on the 1st floor the restaurant. The restaurant is well designed in an L shape with a kitchen open to the dining room. The menu is well done with dishes that are pleasant to look at and tasty to taste. The desserts are also very good. The staff is welcoming and attentive even if you are not American. The service is fast, precise, concise.

Tommylicious

By David H |

Our server was fantastic, h doubled as barman and server and it was probably the best service that we had while we we in NYC. Food is always good likewise the cocktails

A new experience

By 141Dini |

I was shopping at the store and they offered me a free glass of wine if I downloaded the app and went to their restaurant. The service in the store was outstanding but the restaurant was not. I had to ask people for a menu and stop someone to take my order. Also when I wanted to leave I again had to find someone to get me my check and also a glass of water. I ordered the crab and avocado salad which was quite good but the waiting and being ignored was not acceptable. They need to get their service act together.

Unmissable address

By Christine G |

Beautiful discovery this October 3rd evening! Very warm atmosphere. Fine cuisine, original and excellent. In addition, the manager speaks French and he is very caring with his customers. Very friendly moment! We highly recommend. We'll go back.

Cool place

By Erica Hatfield |

The store was really pretty and had lots of stuff you don’t see at other Tommy Bahama stores! Nicely decorated for Christmas too;)

Great all round

By Dorothy S |

Meal, cocktails and service could not be faulted, live music a nice touch. End of NY trip with daughter and granddaughter. Lovely ambiance quick service and waiter believe Redolfo ??very helpful. Loved the way desserts were presented had the pineapple brulee. Don't miss this.

Helpful but not overwhelming staff, steel drum music and holiday rum punch

By Tom D |

We wondered into a Carribean party on 5th Ave in November. Extremely attentive but not hovering staff helped us find what we wanted. The whole experience was elevated with steel drum music and rum punch for the holidays. Will be back every time we are in NYC.

Cocktail hour

By Travelaway1452 |

Went into the bar to have an afternoon cocktail and get out of the cold. Bartenders couldn't be bothered and took the manager to ask us if we would like to order something. Even when we left, had to flag down a bartender to pay the bill. Cocktails and bar menu very good but service was not

perfect from start to finish

By jean-marc L |

the restaurant is very conveniently located on the first floor of a clothing store. The welcome is pleasant and friendly. The room is well arranged with small tables allowing intimacy in one-on-one dialogue. The menu is well balanced, the products used are good, well cooked, tasty, well presented with competent and professional service. The human resources team is very pleasant, competent and attentive to the customer under the direction of conductor Christopher.

A haven in NYC

By Larry H |

Great food, service, location and mood. Had lunch with one of my sons and we both really enjoyed it. Also a fantastic place to shop for high quality clothes with a very helpful staff. Get a glass of wine while you shop.

Favorite restaurant

By kellyw |

Can’t rave enough about this place. Never had a bad meal once. Ambiance is amazing and the staff is great. I’ve had many different dishes and all were excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lunch Break

By Poohbeck |

We were in the need for somewhere to grab a late bite for lunch and warm up after walking the streets of NYC. We were headed to Rockefeller Center and wanted to eat, rest, and have a cocktail before we went. The restaurant was busy but had no issues finding us a table for 2 - even without a reservation. We were tucked away in the corner, but, that was OK. We ordered a cocktail, appetizer, a burger, and sandwich. The appetizer came quickly - some guacamole, salsa, and chips. This was very good, and much better than expected. The cocktails took quite a while to come out, but, they were always quick to fill our waters. For entrees we ordered a burger and Cuban. They were OK, not the best we've ever had...but, the overall experience was just what we needed. Here's the best part! Around 3-4 hours later, as we were heading to the train station, we realized we left our souvenirs at the table. We headed back with every expectation that they would be gone...BUT NOPE - they were there! We were very thankful for the staff for finding and securing our souvenirs. We will be back the next time we are in NYC!

Wonderful dinner, nice location and setting

By 44statesandcounting |

Had a fantastic meal in this very convenient and beautiful restaurant right on 5th avenue, located above a Tommy Bahama retail store. Impeccable, attentive service from the waitstaff who frequently asking if we needed anything and refilled our water glasses as we needed it. Very nice plump coconut shrimps for appetizer and very much enjoyed the halibut special with quinoa and one of the margarita special drinks while my wife enjoyed a well prepared filet with garlic potatoes and greens. The warm bread with a cinamon and ginger butter spread was a nice touch. Offered a nice selection of delicious looking desserts but at that point were too full to partake. A gifted singer entertained us with music selection from the 60's through 80's. Nice evening spent after a long day hiking around the city. After leaving the restaurant, bought a few items from the retail clothing store located downstairs.

Terrific

By catherinek07 |

Perfect spot to grab delicious food and excellent drink before bway show. Park you car walk to the corner of 5th and feel like you are in Caribbean for an hour or so. Food so fresh and delicious. Kids loved guacamole, sliders and filet. The raw apps excellent. Perfect Martini. Then quick walk back to theatre. Avoid the crowds. Go here.

Always have great service and cocktails and food

By Meander791104 |

The location on 5th and 45th in NYC has been a top place in the area for years. Dave the manager is always happy and nice and cares about his customers. The bottom floor bar and bartenders have been consistently nicer than any others and the drinks and food especially happy hour are great. Only miss a salad with the best dressing that was taken off the menu a few years ago. Still hoping the salad or at least dressing returns someday :)

Birthday treat

By Passport02086451997 |

A fantastic night out to end my wife's birthday treat in New York. We are very familiar with Tommy's restaurant in Sarasota - our favourite holiday place to eat. So we knew what we wanted. We go to main and dessert as we rarely manage 3 courses - the complimentary rolls and cinnamon butter serve us well for that. My main was the Kona coffee crusted rib-eye. Cooked Pittsburgh style this was one of the best steaks i have had. The fat had been chargrilled and caramelized with a hint of the coffee rub. The steak itself beautifully tender and rare, full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were perfect. My wife had a scallops fish with the most beautiful sauce that did not detract from the delicate taste of the scallops. My son opted for the steak too and my daughter had are burger. For dessert we opted for Key Lime Pie and chocolate brownie. Now this night all seem like pretty boring straightforward food which you can do at home. But you know what these guys provide the very best examples and actually steak is often poorly cooked. Add the stunning ambience of the restaurant, the attentive service (the waiter just seemed to appear just when I wanted) and it is a great restaurant. We've eaten at Tommys many many times and they never disappoint. Our family love the place. Then to round I all off we went downstairs to the store where we were provided with complimentary drinks whilst we shopped! Wow!

Great Experience

By Gerri B |

We are big fans of TB clothing and stopped in the NYC shop. While we were making selections to try on, our salesperson, Lynda, who was extremely helpful, served us a cocktail from the Marlin Bar. Cocktails were yummy and overall experience was exceptional. If we had more time, we would have had lunch at the restaurant. Stopped up there to check it out and the food looked and smelled amazing.

Take me away!

The Ribeye was cooked to perfection! The sweet butter for the bread is insanely good! The music and decor makes you feel like you're on vacation. Definitely make reservations...it can get pretty crowded!

Best Apps ever

By salrecruiter74 |

Went friday before Labor day for lunch with my daughters and friends. Had a selection of a dozen apps and each one was as good as the next!

Outstanding!

By romadaro |

The food, the service and the laid back vibe in the heart of NYC was just what we needed after a long day of shopping and taking in the sights and sounds of NYC. Even though there are tons of good restaurants serving NYC specialties, we love this place. Everything about it just feels calming in the midst of pure chaos outside! I had the Mojo Chicken and my wife had the Squash Spagetti Bowl and they were both excellent. Highly recommend!

Great Shrimp in Fun, Busy Restaurant

By Joanne |

We ate at the Las Vegas restaurant a few weeks previously, and were keen to see if the New York branch of this island themed restaurant was a good. It was packed at lunchtime and is clearly popular with workers and tourists alike. We browsed the store whilst we waited for our table. Couldn't wait to order the coconut shrimp appetizer, which we'd seen but not tried before. We also ordered the fish tacos again. Service was very good, both at reception and at the table. Coconut shrimp was amazing - no wonder it's the signature dish. The fish in the tacos was very good, but sadly let down by the dressing, which was so wet it made the taco disintegrate very quickly. The plantain side, served with the dish, is delicious. Overall a very good meal and I would happily dine here again - with a reservation next time!

Impressive once you come through the door

By PinkToursLasVegas |

We ate breakfast and dinner here. Recommend not just the food but the staff are amazing. They have live music on Saturday which is not intrusive and very enjoyable. Try the nachos very different. We celebrated friends birthday there and can onky say they pushed the boat out. Easy to locate, if you have problems climbing stairs this could be a challenge but once you arrive on the restaurant floor, you will enjiynthe experience I hope.

They Got A Great Burger Going On Now

By caymankid |

I dined here for lunch with my family on July 4, 2018 while doing some shopping. The bar tender was our server and he did a great job but I forgot to grab his name. I just had the tortilla soup and my kids had pizza and the Wagu burger and the American burger. The food has improved drastically since my last visit in 2017. The bar tender made a killer homemade lemonade with a splash of simple syrup that was to die for. Our bill for lunch was $86 not included tip.

Good food, nice atmosphere

By Tegasamaki |

Nice atmosphere, good food. There was live music and I had a tasty chicken dish. Friends all enjoyed their food too. Friendly service.

Not What I Expected…..

By romadaro |

It was even better! Didn’t really need more clothing, so I thought I’d use my $50 gift certificate for lunch and it was awesome. The food, the wait staff and the venue itself provided the perfect backdrop, not only to eat, but to relax for a few minutes. It was just the perfect setting. I’ve been to TB restaurants in Maui, Honolulu and Las Vegas but none of them compared to the great customer service at this location. I had the chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad and my wife had the vegetable bowl and they were both excellent. So, now TBRBNYC is our new go to restaurant when we’re in NYC.

Excellent Restaurant

By kellyw |

I can come here weekly for lunch. Food is delicious, staff is wonderful and it's a beautiful place. Where else can you go that has palm trees? It's also a great place for drinks and at dinner they have someone playing the guitar. My absolute favorite place in midtown!

Christmas with Tommy Bahama

By Wklimetz11379 |

Shopped and had a bite to eat in the nyc location. Excellent shopping experience along with the top notch service and food in the restaurant.

Worth a visit

By Fiona B |

This is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away above the store on fifth avenue. The food is great. Classic American, all nicely presented. The restaurant is light and pleasant. Sadly the service was slow and clumsy, not living up to the usual high standard out here. Worth a try though.

Great for Breakfast

By William L |

This is a great place for breakfast. Good menu with lots of choice. Delicious toasts, especially avocado. Attentive, friendly service.

Lovely cocktails

By Caroline W |

On a girls weekend, we stumbled across this bar and ended up revisiting it twice more over the weekend, it was so good. Staff very friendly, food is freshly cooked and lovely and good portions. The blue lump crab salad was wonderful. The cocktails were great and certainly packed a punch. The environment is very relaxing and service efficient. Only disappointing bit was the dreadful coffee, just a cup of instant hot brown liquid. For this level of establishment the least they could do is serve good quality coffee. We had to leave ours.

Oasis in Midtown

By NevskyNY |

An oasis in midtown. Very relaxed and great decor. Great service from Luis. Do not miss dessert and go for the large size. If you cannot finish it, take it home.

Great!

By Kevin Rupp |

Top! We where there for lunch and the service was great and fast. The food was really good and not expensive. The place has really nice decoration and furnitures that gives it a really nice ambience. We will repeat for sure!

Tommy Bahama - great vibe, terrific food, nice people

By janicewasthere |

I'm a jaded New Yorker and expected nothing more than an ok quick bite given that I was in the area and needed sustenance. Giant surprise! Place is uber cool tropical and the food is truly good. I had crabcakes with island slaw - sparky, crisp, and yummy. Service was genuine and attentive. If you can't get to the tropics, here's a quick fix.

Love it

By Scott C |

I am a self confessed Tommy Bahama Fan, but this is the first time at the restaurant. Food was delicious and plenty of options to choose from, nice space, it overlooks the store. There was live music which was nice but a bit loud at times. The staff was friendly and let us sit and schmooze after we were done with coffee and dessert, we did not feel rushed out

Try it

By HongXin D |

Great food and impressive live music. Excellent service and very generous portion. It definitely worth the money and time you spent here.

Who knew Tommy Bahama offered more than cool clothes and beach chairs?!?!!

By RVAcat |

I never knew Tommy Bahama had a restaurant!! The sandwich board offering happy hour specials caught our attention. If you like coconut oh my gosh get the coconut dream cocktail!! we were there Saturday night before the marathon so I don’t remember exactly what I had to eat but I remember that I loved it and could highly recommend the restaurant for its service in food as well as a great location in Manhattan.

You Gotta Try the Tuna Tartare Tacos!!!

By Caroline R |

I decided to have three appetizers for dinner, which was a GREAT decision. All three were delicious: coconut shrimp, encrusted goat cheese, and.... tuna tartare tacos. OMG. The shells were SO light and crunchy.... the tuna was totally fresh.... I'm not even sure what veggies were in there, or what spices, either, but.... these were Totally Tubular Tuna Tartare Tacos! The restaurant is on the second floor; the ambience is modern, but warm; the service is good; the prices reasonable. I will go there again as soon as I can!

TBR

Convenient location with excellent ambience for TB brand. Great idea to have co-located with clothing shop. Bringing the paradise to NYC.

very good

By Vittoria |

very good restaurant they welcomed us a group of 14 girls thank you very much at the restaurant. the food is very good except for cezar salad or there is a little too much garlic if not delicious

Great Bar / Gets crowded quickly

By Bee |

It's a nice happy hour bar... it is a lively atmosphere but it does get very crowded. Love the live music!! That is my to go spot after work to meet with friends & coworkers

Very Professional

By tate0889 |

It was an awesome experience being served at this location. The sales clerk was extremely knowledgeable and professional!!

Fun place with great vibes!

By Tour24125964958 |

Great inventive food and drink and a wonderful resort atmosphere to share with friends. I’ve been to many of these restaurants around the country and each one was consistent with great good and beverage . You’ll never be disappointed!

Never Disappointed!

By Swingin_Splanky |

We love to start with the fresh bread with cinnamon nutmeg butter, followed by the blackened fish tacos with plantains on the side. Yum!

Surprisingly one of our favorite New York go to restaurant

By stephrab |

We are New Yorkers through and through. Yes surprisingly this is one of our favorite restaurants. We eat here 4 - 6 times a year. The food is consistently top quality. The staff is consistently on its toes. Management is always watching. If you’d like a high-quality meal. This is the place to come. Did I mention the amazing tuna? Did I mention the fabulous chocolate dessert!

Best Cocktails around

By 0907gee90 |

We went shopping into the store and decided to head up the bar/restaurant after. We sat and had some Mojitos and coconut cloud Martinis these were some.of the best cocktails I have ever had. The decor and ambiance was classy and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Oasis of Calm in NYC

By WINEandTRAVEL |

Not your typical restaurant. An oasis of fun and calm, very laid back. Comfortable seating, live music at night... a solo singer doing the old rock classics. The menu never seems to change, but a good mix of items. We loved the soups... both the taco and crab... order a cup... the bowl didn't seem like much more. Loved the avocado, the coconut shrimp, the chicken entree. Wine by the glass reasonable for NYC. Service was excellent.

So good

By thomaskN9433AT |

You need to try each dish. They are all so delicious. I highly recommend the flatbread filet mignon. Goat cheese. OMG I can go on but don't have enough room to mention everything

Above Average but below Very Good rating

By chadjis |

the place is in a convenient location the service is above average and the food is good. A little expensive for the food that you are getting is general a mix feeling place so that is why I am rating with an average rating. For sure there are many things that they can be improved to make the very good rating.

Shopping spree

By Linda V |

We stopped in to grab a quick bite ( which was excellent) and ended up spending some time in the adjacent store. Best Tommy Bahama shopping experience I’ve ever had.

Good food and drinks

By Cindy L |

I always have to stop to have a coconut cloud drink. They have a great menu and the food, drinks and service is always great.

NYC Birthday TRip

By ashpunt |

Fantastic food and even better prices on apparel! Staff and management was very helpful and made the experience even better!

Conveniently located and has become reliable.

By Kim S |

I tried this restaurant several years ago and had two very good experiences and then one horrible, never to be repeated dinner reservation. I decided to try Tommy Bahama, Manhattan again and wow, what a difference. The menu is fairly static but the level of service was excellent. I have been back twice and each time everything was perfect, food cooked as requested, when I had trouble deciding on a wine I was offered a taste of each, and the service was impeccable. My new fall back place.

Private room for rehearsal dinner.

By IslandzGirl |

Chairs were amazingly comfortable to sit for several hours. Coconut shrimp appetizers, coconut cream mocktails, branzino, key lime pie, it was all great!! Ella, thanks for helping us celebrate!!

Great breakfast for solo eater

By SARAH C |

Obviously spoilt for choice for breakfast and stumbled across this walking down 5th Ave... really lovely, not a huge choice but the Avocado Toast was amazing! Staff friendly and as well as table seating there are seats at the bar which makes eating alone a pleasure ... Asked for recommendations as to what to do and the staff gave some great ideas based on personal experience.. Definitely coming back here when in NY!

Always a Good Experience!

By Mike4TraveI |

Have been here several times. Always great service to go along with the food. The people at the bar are friendly which helps the time to go by quickly. This time we had their guacamole, tuna tacos and macadamia crusted goat cheese.

Not my top choice for dinner in NYC

By hsy25501 |

My reason for booking at Tommy Bahamas was that I had a complimentary drink, appetizer or dessert coupon which was expiring soon. We ordered the steak flatbread as our complimentary appetizer. It was very filling and good. My daughter ordered the large seared scallops, which were average at best. I ordered one of my favorites, the blacken fish tacos, which were very disappointing. I will say that the staff interactions and service is stellar. With so many wonderful choices in restaurants in New York City, I would not recommend Tommy Bahamas as a top choice for dinner.

Father’s Day lunch

By ebone2112 |

Really, really good. Had a burger that was excellent, salad was super fresh, and the fish tacos were decent. Stay away from the $ 6.00 lemonade it’s fresh, but kids didn’t care for it(neither did I). Overall it was excellent.

Great lunch, great shopping!

By Buffetteer |

Great, relaxed lunch after returning from France. Great crabcakes and crab salad. Our visit to the TB store was even better. . .Lynda took great care of us! Our closets could be a "Museum of Tommy B"!

Best lunch in Midtown Manhattan

By Gurleen |

I absolutely love this place! I call it a little piece of heaven in the concrete jungle. You feel like you are on vacation when you are at this restaurant. They have live music on weeknights which is an added bonus. The manager David is absolutely wonderful and made some excellent suggestions. I'm a vegetarian and they were super cool about it and totally made changes so I was able to eat a bunch of things. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the location is perfect. @traveleen_gurl

Nice Place for Drinks and to Hang out

By chadjis |

The place if for drinks it has live music and it is nice place to hang out after work. The food is ok and is reasonable priced

good lunch

By Damian C |

ate at the bar nice burger with jerk yucca fries tasty cucumber mule very island-y restaurant upstairs

Great time!

By lovethesunshine |

Great time had by all four! The Prosecco is 27$!!! We went on the Saturday night and then the Monday lunchtime, the only thing was the waiter got a full glass of water down me 🥺 Soaked to the core!!! Thankfully I had a black dress on! The desserts are to die for!!!

Tropical vibe on the urban island

By Catherine P |

Excellent take on island fare. Salads and seafood have a more modern yet distinctive island or Asian flavoring that doesn't overpower. Not too sweet or coconut filled. The blackened tacos are a lunch favorite as is the crab and avocado salad. The island inspired cocktails are a must. They change frequently. A Personal favorite is the Blackberry Mojito. The deserts however are extreme sweet and enormous. They each could feed a family of 4. You have been warned!

Serious Food and Fun

By Reasonable50 |

Dined with a group of 9 people. The service was friendly and professional. The location upstairs looked over 5th avenue and the island decor was relaxed quality. The menu was more serious. Fun place with good food. Pricey. Remember to ask for bread. We forgot to and regret that. Wish TB would be more generous about the small stuff.

A little bit of paradise in the middle of the city

By Felicia M |

Completely unaware of this gem that we would ultimately discover, my husband and I went to an iconic store in search of a couple of new Tommy Bahamas shirts for him for an upcoming trip. Due to their limited selection, we inquired about alternative options. The sales person recommended the Tommy Bahamas store attached to the restaurant. I was completely unaware that Tommy Bahamas had restaurants! First, we opted to do a little shopping prior to having lunch. The layout and shopping selections at this location were exceptional. All of the staff that assisted us was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. After a few purchases, we walked next door to the restaurant. Spacious, lively, comfortable, inviting and tropical are a few of the adjectives I would use to describe this restaurant. We chose to grab a quick bite at the bar. Our bartender, Tiffany, was the BEST! She was always smiling, knowledgeable of the menu, excellent drink recommendations based on my likes and dislikes, and all while giving the other patrons around us the same quality service. This will definitely become one of our staples for every future trip to the city.

excellent restaurant

By madpsych |

we really enjoyed our visit at this restaurant. Excellent service, food and presentation. We will return

This is a place to indulge your senses. A great meal, original cocktails and an unforgettable dessert. Enjoy!

By Inga R |

My visit to NY was relatively unsuccessful. But as I wandered down 5th avenue with tears streaming down my face, I came upon Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar, I knew I had to stop by. Fantastic atmosphere. Very kind staff, excellent meal. I realized that this was what I had been missing during the whole trip. In fact, this is a place that will definitely encourage me to come back to NY again to explore the city. After the meal, I also slipped into the shop next door. That was great. When I was offered a glass of water or prosecco, I realized that exactly such feelings appeal to me and make me happy. Thanks to the great staff.

Always an enjoyable experience

By Cindy L |

We always enjoy stopping here. The coconut cloud martini's and one in our group had the crab bisque - amazing! Our server was great.

Good atmosphere.

By lwsmms |

Very good atmosphere. All staff was very nice. My only issue Is that we were only offered tap water while a party that arrived after us (same waiter) was offered tap and sparkling water. Food was OK.

Delicious!

By volsgirl5 |

Yummy in a fun atmosphere! Loved the seasonal menu and drinks. The biscuits and pimento cheese....decadent! The fig flatbread and crusted halibut--delicious! Relaxed atmosphere. Would love to be there for the generous Happy Hour drinks and snacks...maybe next time!

Tropical flair on 5th Ave for dinner

By Jgal0 |

We made a reservation for after matinee play on Broadway. A short walk from Times Square to restaurant. Also, less crowds. We arrived 15 min early and were promptly greeted and seated. Clean modern restaurant tropically themed. One bar downstairs another up spiral staircase where seating is as well. We ordered fresh guacamole and chips. As well as cocktails. All were very good. We ordered sea scallops over mushroom risotto and a roasted chicken dish with mashed cauliflower and potatoes. Portions were satisfying and food was served warm and well seasoned. For dessert we shared pineapple creme brûlée served in a pineapple slice. Was delicious. They also offer gluten free and vegetarian options. Service was very good. For a Saturday at 5:30, they were moderately busy. Recommend!

Perfect Spot For A Business Lunch

By AWNYC14 |

After debating on several other options in the area, a colleague suggested trying the Tommy Bahama Restaurant. I am so glad we went there! The food was delicious, service fantastic, and it was filled with an atmosphere of like-minded lunches discussing business but in a more casual setting. Pricing was comfortable and portions were filling. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back for personal and business meals

Great variety of food

By Magnus J |

I have just visited Tommy Bahama and it was a great experience. Very kind staff and great menu card with lots of mouthwatering choices. I had the coconut shrimps and the fish tacos. Both were excellent. Will come back.

Christmas trip to Tommy Bahama

By Trip63877816337 |

The staff was amazing! Could not have been more helpful and friendly! And the store environment is just beautiful! Very relaxing shopping!!

Would have been excellent but.....

By Jpendejo |

Made reservations for a party of 7. Drinks were awesome. Try the Habanero Cosmo. We also ordered some apps. We then opted to have two models come up from the store with selections of clothing. We asked for several pieces to be put aside so we could go down to the store to try them on. Our group was very excited. It was about 7:45pm, and by the time dinner was served and eaten, it was after 9pm. After paying, we then asked how to get to the store, only to learn it had closed. What a huge disappointment! 2 of the couples were from out of town and were ready to buy, as they dont have a Tommy Bahama store near them. Not sure why we were not at least given a courtesy reminder that the store was closing at 9pm. Our entrees were very good, fresh and tasty, and top quality. Service was a bit slow as our server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Our experience with the restaurant would have been excellent if not for the store debacle.

Not up to their reputation

By 10Sgal55 |

Unfortunately, Tommy Bahama on Fifth Ave is not up to par with the other Tommy Bahama restaurants where I have dined. The service was inattentive; we had to flag down our waitress if we needed her. I had the coconut shrimp, which was over cooked and lacking of the usual yummy sauce that accompanies the shrimp. If I had never dined at a Tommy Bahama's and dined at this restaurant for the first time, I would not return to a Tommy Bahama restaurant. There was nothing special about our dinner,

Great atmosphere and food

By Beachvacasrbest |

Love the atmosphere in this restaurant. We’ve been several times and always get the chips and guacamole and always get the pineapple coconut cake for dessert. Their salads are very good as well! Their drinks are also very good. I had the frozen pina colada.

Drinks

By Bullsey |

We popped into Tommy's just by chance, after standing and watching a young fireman funeral prosession, very emotional and respectful. Lovely bar, very good friendly service and great range of drinks.

BIG LET DOWN

By Harvey M |

I tried the restaurant's Filet Mignon Flatbread appetizer which has an impressive sound to it but I found it disappointing. The taste was dominated by Arugula, which was not what I expected after reading the menu's stated other ingredients. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer (four Shrimp) was very pleasing and recommendable. As a main course you can have six shrimp ($18.50). Most disappointing was the restaurant's two desserts that I tried. The Butterscotch Pudding did not taste like Butterscotch Pudding to me. A good Butterscotch Pudding, in my opinion, should be able to stand on its own and not need the included topping of chocolate ganache as well as white chocolate mousse as a topping. What I was told by the waitress was the restaurant's "signature dessert" called Pina Colada Cake, to me, was very ordinary in flavor, and I thought was not worthy of the title "signature dessert."

Needs to be open earlier on the weekends!

By TravelingMan |

The store is great and I found couple of nice items. Very helpful staff. However, super disappointed the restaurant and bar was closed. Makes the shopping experience dull. Restaurant and bar apparently opens only at 3pm on weekends… what!?

Jeans and more!

By BigRo77 |

While looking for jeans, I found out that the style I liked (Belize) was not available and was shown one that was comparable in style and cut (Costa Rica).  The fit was great, although the color wasn’t what I had in mind. So, I decided to go to lunch and think it over. A friend suggested that I should eat there, and was shocked that I didn’t know about the restaurant. Long story short, doubled back towards the store, made a reservation for a table within the next 10 min. I was welcomed and seated in no time.   Ordered the Pineapple Paradisio martini, coconut shrimp, and American wagyu burger. Tommy Bahama’s did not disappoint the food was great n the martini sealed the deal!  Satisfied with lunch, I decided to go ahead and buy the jeans!  Would gladly return for the food and customer service.

Excellent!

By Fontanaditrev |

Very impressed! We did not expect a midtown Manhattan restaurant to Ace it! It has never been in the history of NYC restaurants to receive 100% perfection for its food! Ofcourse the decor makes it even more appreciated. First timer and the presentation for its food and taste was emaculent. Thank you for doing it right! Bravo to the Chef who knows what they are doing in the kitchen! Excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Tommy Bahama’s Marlin Bar & Grill (GEM)

By evelynmorico |

My girlfriend and I had lunch at Tommy Bahama’s, PGA, FL. and enjoyed our appetizers and grilled chicken salads and sliders. The presentation, delicious flavors, and attentive service was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet Daniel, Mgr., who was engaging and recommended entree options. His leadership and attentiveness, created an elevated dining experience. We looking forward to coming back, connecting, and enjoying new experiences.

Shopping at Tommy Bahamas

Customer Service woman, Kelly! She's the best! She went out of her way to help me and every store would be lucky to have someone like her in their customer service department!!

Haven’t been to a Tommy’s in a long time. Stopped in here was as good as I remembered. We sat at bar drinks and appetizers were delicious! Highly recommend.

Amazing food, amazing service and atmosphere. We ordered the world famous coconut shrimp, 212 burger, blackened mahi mahi tacos and fresh market fish sandwich which is really recommend

Relaxing Atmosphere in New York City

By GoldnAdvice |

As soon as you go up the stairs, you are transported to somewhere in the tropics. The casual laid back decor along with the Caribbean music, you can't help but feel relaxed. The menu also reflects the ambiance with entrees like ceviche, and fish taco and mango salad etc..most of what we ate was good. They had a special gluten sensitive section as well. I will definitely go there again for the drinks. They had a wonderful cocktail menu.

Great food, drinks and service

By Cindy L |

I usually stop by on a Saturday night; they usually have live music and I really enjoy the gentlemen that sings. They have a nice selection of drinks and a nice menu.

Island Lunch on a Cold Day!

By PasadenaWoman |

Friends had told us we must have drinks and lunch here and so glad we did. Reservations are advised. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in the islands which was great on our windy, very cold December day in NYC! Service was very friendly and good. The room is inviting with windows all around so you can see out on Park Ave but quiet enough to comfortably have a conversation. We ordered the American burger, Ahi Poke sandwich, Wagyu Burger and the Pulled Pork. ALL were happy. I shared the Wagyu burger with the pulled pork and although both were good the wagyu was excellent and i would definitely order that again. The coconut shrimp looked wonderful and we were sorry we didn't order it as it went by our table. Although we were very full as the portions were large, the best was the pineapple creme brulee we shared! It was served in a pineapple slice, with whipped creme. It was one of the best creme brulee I have ever had and that is my go to dessert! Definitely will be back to this soothing hour of good food and drinks off the busy NYC streets!

very mediocre

By Mark S |

Fine if you are staying at a nearby hotel and want a fine, simple meal close by, but why go to a place that is only 1/3 full of other tourists when there are so many better options around?

GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

By chesterpr2018 |

I was looking for a place to eat with my fiancé in my last visit to New York and suddenly I was in front of the Tommy Bahama store. We were planning to visit the store later on but realized that they also have a restaurant in store ! It was providencial because The food was beyond my expectations and a fabulous stile consultant Reizza came to our table and do all my shopping for me. Great experience and superb cocktails. I’ll visit the store on my next visit to NY for some Painkillers.

The best starter

The dinner was fantastic! Specially, the starter (See the picture) which was awesome! the service was perfect too.
