I went on Friday night with my husband out for a nice dinner and this restaurant was perfect… We had an amazing time and thanks to our server Gilberto for his great recommendations! You should definitely visit this place .

Victor made us the best mojitos ever!!!! His specialty is a cuban mojito. If you are in the area, definitely hit up Toro Toro to cool off and ask Victor to make you a mojito!!!!

Definitely delicious food, staff a little hit and missed but not sure if that’s due to the big area of space they have - once the staff realised we were eating they were attentive.

Victor is really an amazing person, made us have an amazing time and his drinks were so amazing. He really makes your day amazing. I’m coming back for sure

We went for a late dinner and had a great experience. The food and service were outstanding. We had the empanadas, truffle fries, filet mignon and truffle mac and cheese; I would recommend all of our dishes. In addition, the staff is accommodating and did a great job. The restaurant is located in the Intercontinental Hotel and can be a little noisy with the bar nearby; therefore, it wouldn't be the best option if you prefer a quiet meal.

They are very unkind. The service is lousy. The staff is stressed and very poorly trained. A terrible experience. Hopefully they can read this note and improve, there is always a way to improve, it is a matter of wanting.

Great service! friendly staff! Had a great time. Good was good. Drinks were amazing. Marco was amazing.

The best dinner we had in Miami , and nearly one of the best ever - shrimps to start ( shared ) followed by fillet and la bomba dessert was to die for , although you might need four people to eat it . It was worth leaving Miami Beach to go to the city for a night to taste this food. Try grab the millionaire boat tour or the basketball define / after for a perfect night

It s a wonderful place where the had very interesting desert called Sphere. First time I tried it 9 years ago and it was full of fruits, but unfortunately now it s has just some fruits. Very disappointed. And the service is terrible as well. The girls who work there think they have a crown on their heads. Instead of giving some names of wine they have available they tell with the self confident voice that they have everything instead of offering the Eine list. Very disappointing.

On Sunday night, me and my husband had our anniversary and we decided to visit Toro Toro. We had a great time, excellent place and food, all thanks to the recommendation of our waiter Gilberto. I recommend visiting Toro Toro.

Good meat, higher values, normal food, nice atmosphere, We ate a puré meat with an average of $85.00

Went to Toro Toro for happy hour with my girlfriends and Victor the bartender provided us with an outstanding service. He eas very personal, jovial and had some great recommendations. Will definitely be going back because of him. Thank you Victor. You're one a rarity in Miami.

I loved this restaurant and what they have to offer. Tapas and steaks are awesome. Would recommend.went there on out way back from Miami ..lots vigor vibes and service was great

From checking in to paying the bill. Everything was 1st class. The staff was accommodating, the food was excellent. The desert was an added bonus. All in all - this place set a bar that many others here in Miami fell short. They even helped get us into some type of “speak easy” here in the hotel. Great experience for our party of 8.

Food is solid, but the most notable things about this spot are the vibe and the SERVICE. Everyone is super friendly. Shoutout to Yassine (manager) and Aimee (lovely server) for being so positive.

The best part of this bar was Victor. He was friendly and fun. He took great care of us while we enjoyed our evening. Thank you Victor.

Once again I had the pleasure of dining at Toro Toro restaurant in the hotel InterContinental Miami. I normally stop in for the executive lunch but since it was Saturday I decided to go off the menu and order the filet mignon. The filet mignon is USDA choice beef and cook the perfection with a wonderful presentation and a hot plate to keep it warm throughout the dining experience. As an avid cook and barbecue grill Master I could not have done this any better myself or asked to add any spices or flavors or ingredients to the steak that was prepared for me. In other words it was spot on perfect. From the flavor to the presentation. Please be advised I was so excited to eat it that the pictures do not actually represent the full portions as I had taken a few bites of everything before taking the photo! Oops once you try the filet mignon I think you'll understand my anticipation and impatience!

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. The food was excellent, and the waiter was fantastic. The beer selection was a little slim though.

Rosie and Yassine are always attentive and friendly. We meet friends for happy hour regularly and we always feel welcomed and receive great service.

The staff at ToroToro is always excellent to work with and very accommodating. Great service and delicious food added to our overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

After a long and weather delayed trip from Texas to Miami, we arrived at Intercontinental Miami and quickly made our way to Toro Toro, one of our favorites when we’re here. Wonderful and welcoming, Carlos guided us to some perfect drinks and shareable bites to finish our travel day with a happy smile. We began with the Smoky Toro Toro a whiskey forward beautiful presentation at the table and T had a wonderful Caiprinha both delicious. We shared a grilled octupus that was the best most tender I e ever had. Grilled to perfection it was better than lobster. Came with some little potatoes and a wonderful creamy sauce. Then we dive into the Ceviche Amarillo. A perfect blend of tuna, leche Tigre and white fish with mango cucumbers and red onions. Wonderful. Even though we were pretty full our sweet tooth flared up and Carlos talked us into the El Habano, a banana rum cake, espresso and flan. This was one of the most inventive presentations for a dessert. Loved everything as always.

My family and I had dinner at ToroToro Miami for our last night in Miami. We were waited on by the magnificent and intellectual Yassine. He explained the specials and dishes thoroughly for which helped me choose the 14oz Ribeye. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Yassine has made this restaurant experience one to remember with his awesome customer service. When I return to Miami I will be coming back and requesting Yassine. One of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve had here.

Torotoro is the main restaurant within the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami. With scenic views, decadent food and fun drinks, the bar has been a highlight of my stay. And Victor, our fabulous bartender, has made the experience that much more fun with his warm spirit and welcoming hospitality. I highly recommend Torotoro if you’re looking for a fun place with great food and great drinks!

Yesterday i went to Toro Toro Bar area to catch up With a friend and we were gratefully surprised with the amazing service provided by Victor. He was very kind, respectful and offered an amazing service, which is not usually seen in many Miami restaurants. We will definitely come back specially for his great service!

Toro Toro, located in the Intercontinental Miami, was a fantastic dining experience with plenty of options to choose from. Superb Latin American cuisine with a nice atmosphere to dine in romantically and also with that mix of a great location for business meetings and the like. The restaurant was also an option to use with hotel credit as a part of the fine hotels and resorts collection with American Express benefits. The server was amazing in recommending options and explaining the menu also so was a an overall amazing experience.

We were staying at the Intercontinental Miami where this restaurant is located. I have IHG Food & Beverage vouchers ($20 each), earned based on my IHG night count. I didn't want these to expire in December and was able to use 3 of my 4 current ones. We both had the Weekday express lunch @ $25 special and just drank iced tap water. We both chose Caesar salads (mine w/o croutons). I had the fried chicken thigh sandwich w/ lots of fries and a pickle slice. I ate all the chicken, the pickle, and most of the fries plus part of the bottom bun; all good but not spectacular. Other half had Cubano sandwich w/ fries, which was enjoyed and very authentic. He got a takeaway box for half the sandwich and some fries; he enjoyed that the next day at home here in Orlando. We received attentive service from Juan C Blanco, per the receipt. He and another guy were attentive with our food and water refills. The check included the standard Miami 18% tip. I never add more to protest the forced tip. So many times, the service is awful because the waitstaff knows they don't have to do anything more than basic to receive this tip. I charged it to my room so not sure if the restaurant has credit card fee; the hotel doesn't! As I said, I applied 3 of my vouchers so I had no additional charges. IHG takes such good care of me with many reward opportunities; however, I wouldn't eat here if I had no vouchers!

Clint was a wonderful server. Very friendly and accommodating. The burger and sandwiches were delicious. The drinks were awesome. The decor is pleasant. There is a lobby bar area and a more private dining area. Wonderful amenity to the hotel.

When ever co-workers and I want a happy hour drink close to work, we stop by Toro Toro. We are always greeted with a big smile and a “hello my friend” from the bartender, Victor! He knows what we like to drink, he always asks how we’re doing if we haven’t been in for a while and is great at making sure we never have to wait for refills! Victor excels at customer service and he keeps us going back to Toro Toro for happy hour.

Went here with family before a cruise for a group dinner. Service was great, especially the Fried Snapper and the Adobo Prawns! Since we were staying at the hotel we also had happy hour too. Bartender victor was great and the Manager, Yassine, was always very attentive and helpful . The drinks they recommended were strong and on point. The love is love specialty cocktail was splendid. We also love those truffle fries and the toro toro burger. DJs are on point too. Always rocking the lobby! Will definitely be back next time in Miami.

Fabulous dinner at Toro Toro! The ambiance, service and food was amazing, this is one of my husband's favorite spots for Steak, never disappoints. Juan our server was very knowledgeable and guided us through the menu and ensured we chose the right options based on what we were hoping to enjoy, delicious!

We ate here while staying at the hotel because there were few other options open for dinner. As vegetarians we found the menu options limited.

Wow! What an exciting venue!! We sat at the bar, had our drinks and dinner at the bar three nights in a row and were served by best ever!! ROSIE!! She is amazing, outstanding service, great sense of humor, accommodating, and truly a pleasure! Food was delicious, bar and dinner menu and Rosie took such good care of us!!

The best steak I have had all year. Was skeptical especially with all the other steakhouses to choose from but chose Toro Toro because of location. From the time we walked in and sat down was very impressed. Our steaks came out on metal plates that were very hot and the steaks stayed hot until the end the way they should be. I was with a couple friends and we didn’t talk much only to say how great the steak tasted. Will definitely be back to Toro Toro and will recommend to everyone that is in search of a great steak. The lady with the flames will look right through you especially when you have the camera pointed at her. Thank you for the great dinner.

Once again I had the pleasure of attending the executive lunch special at the Hotel InterContinental with some old friends from Venezuela. The executive lunch is an all you can eat buffet of everything you could possibly desire. From fine cuts of beef like prime rib and pequana, chicken, rice, fresh roasted vegetables, and today they featured an incredible coconut based seafood soup with corn and potatoes and crab legs. The dessert bar hosted mini key lime pie which is one of my favorites and it was simply Delicious. But there are others to choose from as well. Let's not forget the all you can drink sangria, the salad bar which includes an amazing cornucopia to choose from. These guys really pull out all the stops on this incredible deal. I must especially mention the service staff Sonia the manager was very attentive and checking on our quality, Clint our server was all over us attending to our ever desire. And Marta the Sous Chef was actively inquiring the quality of our food. Yes Total Quality Management is alive and well at this downtown Miami Hotel InterContinental. If you have tried the rest of the options by Bayside Shipping Mall, now come and try the best deal in town. Toro Toro Downtown Miami Florida. It is open to the public. This incredible property featuring an amazing location with incredible views as well as a mind blowing wellness spa full of highly trained professionals! Let's also not forget Ole for an incredible breakfast experience. I absolutely love this property! . Be there or be square!

Really wanted to try the Miami Spice menu and it was fantastic! Gilberto was so friendly and welcoming and provided recommendations and we chose the Ahi Tuna - Grilled Snapper and Key lime pie all was beautifully presented and delicious

Best steak and wine in Miami. And Marco was a perfect guide to help us navigate through all the options to make it a memorable meal. Def coming back for the brunch.

Toro Toro in the Intercontinental Hotel totally blew us away. From the second we walked in, Breezy at the front made us feel so welcome. Aimee, our server, was amazing. Super friendly, on top of everything, and just made the whole night feel easy and fun. The steaks were delicious! They were perfectly cooked and the chimichurri and bone marrow butter took them to the next level. Every dish we tried had something special going on, and the La Bomba dessert was such a fun way to end the night. It was messy, delicious, and totally worth it. A huge shoutout to Breezy and Aimee for making our dinner one of the special highlights of our trip to Miami!

I pass to have drinks and food at the bar Toro Toro was wonderful experience with the Bartender Service Victor. Very friendly and enjoyable moment. Amazing food and great drinks recommended by Victor. The best Old fashion in my life. Hope see you soon Victor... Cheers!!

Great Restaurant food is delicious and it goes along with the great service. My Server Yahaira very attentive and super friendly,Management also super professional Jairo super. Food presentation and taste it was super amazing definitely will come back and tell everyone.

I went to Toro toro for the first time and I had such an amazing time. the ambiance was popping, music was bumping and the customer service was outstanding. Quick shoutout to Yassine from greeting us and helping us find our seats and to Victor & Omar for taking care of us throughout the night. Their service was perfect. I cannot wait to go again!

Found this bar after having to make a quick detour. Loved the decor , very sleek but my favorite part was the drinks. Victor made thee BEST this passion fruit mojito I’ve ever had and I’m a bartender myself. Definitely will be coming back 10/10

At the Toro restaurant the deal is LOUSY!! First courses that some diners do not reach and bring them the second courses first. After seeing that they do not appear, we claim them several times and get them brought in last minute "to go". Some table members eat the first course while others look on. At dessert time, of the options listed in the menu that offer us none was available and offer a single allergy option for 2 people and do not give solution, just "I'm sorry, this is the dessert of the day". After asking to speak with the Manager, oh what a coincidence, there were already those options that were on the menu for the allergic. A SERVICE DISASTER.

What a great place to spend Mother’s Day. The service was amazing and the food was outstanding. Shout to Yassine Benhaddouch for making sure it was a memorable experience

Enjoying a fabulous meal at Toro Toro Miami. Edgar is a hospitality joy! Helpful and enthusiastic. At the Intercontinental, Chopin Plaza

We stopped in for desert after a full day around town. The service was excellent and I don't recall the name of the desert, but the smash it on the table and the 4 of us sat around the table and ate it. It was amazing!

The food was excellent and I would totally recommend anyone to come here. The music was good and our server took great care of us!!

We were celebrating 2 x 50th Birthday's and the team at Toro Toro went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. Amy our server was very knowledgeable about the Menu and provided great recommendations, starting with the Adobo prawns - WOW! Then of course steak which again she expertly guided us on which steak would be best based on what we were looking for, then the best surprise, desert - La Bomba - this is a MUST for any celebrations or a decadent desert. Thank you for a great dining experience!

Family visiting us from out of town and we ended up here for dinner. We had such a great experience and Yassine the supervisor was superb. Love to go to a place where service is exceptional and is a rare find in Miami. Yassine is so personable, came by and checked on us , and even presented the smoky Torotoro at our table for my mother in law. Thank you Yassine for taking such good care of us. We will be back to see you!

An excellent restaurant in a very poor hotel. We had and meal there 3 nights in a row and on each occasion it was faultless. One of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Even had a chance to meet the head chef.

Service from Yassine B. Enhanced the delicious food. He made great drink and dinner recommendations! Recommend La Bomba to finish the night! Remember to bring your glasses the menu is tiny!

We really enjoy Richard Sandoval's Toro, in Cabo San Lucas, and were thrilled to discover a sister restaurant in Miami on our recent trip! A different menu but with similar unique takes on latin cuisine... the panko crusted prawns were one of our favorites, this time around. As we often enjoy sampling multiple flavors by ordering several appetizers as our main courses... variety is the spice of life they say... the menu lends itself to such! For a finale, we tried the "Bomba".... Wow! The lobby location in the Intercontinental and somewhat loud bar somewhat lessen the overall ambiance but don't let this be a deterrent! We'll definitely be back next time we're down in South Florida!

Bartender gave us great recommendations on in-house food as well as great recommendations for the city. Great time good food definitely coming here again

My guy Marco was great and provided amazing service! Highly recommend! The food was also amazing and well/fashionably delivered in a great presentational manner.

The Toro Toro is located right in the Intercontinental Miami hotel. Unusual for a hotel restaurant, it is simply top class. I don't think I've ever had such a good ribeye steak as here. If there is anything to criticize at all, it is the volume... more could be done to reduce the noise level. And... for older people - the font on the menu is very small... don't forget your glasses :)

The first night my husband and I had dinner at Toro Toro, the food was excellent and the service mediocre. We both ordered Lomo Saltado, which is beef with creamy jasmine rice and potato slivers. It was very good, although I did not eat the spicy sauce. The dinner roll was GF but still good. The young woman who refilled our water glasses was quite attentive. Our waiter was pathetic. My husband and I ordered drinks. I ordered a tasty pineapple and passion fruit drink and received it fairly fast. My husband ordered a bourbon old fashioned and waited forever for the drink. We finally had to flag down the waiter and ask him about my husband’s drink. When the old fashioned was finally delivered, it was really watered down. The waiter did not deserve the 18% tip that was automatically added to our bill. We are normally very generous tippers. This restaurant is extremely expensive, offering some very pricy beef dishes such as Wagu beef and some seafood. Our Lomo Saltado was not that expensive but our bill was still $170. We spent five nights at the Intercontinental Miami hotel, and our goal was not to return to Toro Toro. We ate several very good meals at other nearby restaurants. Several days later we ended up eating another dinner at Toro Toro because we did not feel like venturing out into pouring rain. Not much on the menu interested us, so we ordered Lomo Saltado again. At our second visit the service was much better. We had one breakfast at the hotel. It was decent. That restaurant might go by a different name. Overall I rate the restaurant a 4 based largely on quality of service. The food rates

We booked the 5 course dinner for New Year. The service was excellent but the food considering the price was substandard. Out of the 5 courses, one was raw salmon with a very fishy smell nobody at our table or the table surrounding dared to eat. Another one was the lobster, served cold and overcooked. The dinner is advertised as Top High Quality one and it wasn't. All the way from Switzerland looking for the perfect New Years dinner and we did not like it. Again, considering what we paid for, we even had to pay for the coffee after the meal :/ Would not go back or recommend to others

Bald guy was very rude. But Víctor at the bar was wonderful. Gave great service and made sure we were well taken care of. Food is phenomenal!

Amazing taste, after amazing taste, after guess what?.... amazingly great tastes! Our group enjoyed all the great recommendations from our server Orlando. From the tomahawk, to the Nekei, the Arroz Chaufa, lobster Macncheese, chichArron de camarones, and the tasteful cocktails. I can’t express how much my group loved it all. The server was amazing from start to finish. Loved every moment of our first time visit to Toro Toro. There will be many more.

No expectations except a nice time. Arrived at the Intercontinental Miami hours before our cruise and the bell staff happily stowed our luggage for us. We decided to eat at Toro Toro and do the lunch buffet. FABULOUS! The Food, the ambiance, the selection, the level of service and the staff. We were treated as well any guest even though we weren’t staying. The Picanha, the specialty crafted iced mocha, and our server was the high light. Thanks for beginning our Virgin Voyage cruise on Scarlet Lady off to a spectacular start! Can’t wait to stay for a visit in Miami and come back to Toro Toro.

Amazing dining experience, definitely recommend the Miami Spice Menu, great value, great presentation and delicious - Tinsley our server was amazing!

Eddie was amazing! He paid a lot of attention to detail and made us feel very welcome. Thank you Eddie!

The food was excellent and our experience was made Perfect by our server Edgar. He knew the menu, explained it, made recommendations. Truly a lovely evening, highly recommend.

I plan on going back to Toro Toro next month and one of the things I'm looking forward to is running into Victor at the bar. I was there this past June for a birthday trip to Key West. We stayed 1 night at the Intercontinental and that was enough of a wonderful time for me. The way Victor treated my wife and me, was more than amazing!! It probably took me these 2 months to finally try and put into words how our experience with him was. I ONLY take the time to share reviews that are truly worth it and he really is! We talked about him and his exceptional hospitality the entire trip to the Keys. If you visit and you have the pleasure to run into him, you'll know it's him because he'll treat you like family.

I joined a business partner at the bar for a cocktail and late night bite. Atmosphere is nice. Service from Victor our bartender was outstanding. I started with the Smoky Toro Toro bourbon cocktail. Presentation was fantastic as he lit wood chips to “smoke”the glass before pouring. His food recommendation short rib and bone marrow arepa was to die for! Great experience! Thank you Victor!

Excellent service, my husband and I enjoyed it. Yassine was great and very attentive. The whole experience was phenomenal. Thank you !

Miami is home to a vibrant Latin community, and with it, flavorful Latin cooking. Churrasco, picanha, lomo — you can find it all here. And you can taste it at its finest at Toro Toro Steakhouse. Delicious steaks and seafood prepared perfectly on a wood-burning rodizio. Great wine list. Attentive service, family friendly. Only small caveat it is on the pricier side of things.

THE BEST BARTENDER IVE RAN INTO IN A LONG TIME!! Mojito is a must if it’s your first time and make sure it comes from Victor.

I went this past Friday with my Pops to have dinner at this restaurant and it was an amazing night. Our servers was super helpful and polite his name was Gilberto. The food was AMAZING. I will be coming back to bring my wife soon!

My fiancé and I were touring the hotel/venue for our wedding and decided to get a drink at toro toro after the tour. The drink I really wanted could not be made due to the freezer being broken (special ice cube needed) but Victor quickly made me another drink that was delicious. Victor’s attentive service and great drinks made up for some of the hiccups we encountered.

The most amazing dining experience at Toro Toro for Thanksgiving. The menu was what sold me but the service was by far superb and excellent! We felt at home and the staff super friendly especially Yassine and Wilma!!! Much appreciated your kind disposition working on a holiday!

This is specifically geared toward the New Year’s Eve 5 course meal experience, with bottle of champagne and roof fireworks view access included. The food in my opinion was great. The Music was very loud like in a club! Nearly impossible to have a conversation. Time between courses 30-40 minutes. Over 3 hours to get all 5 courses served. Unacceptable for $325 per person excluding tip and taxes that take it over $400 per person. The horrible execution of food courses being delivered in a timely manner ruined what should have been a great time.

The food here was delicious and we really enjoyed the atmosphere! Our server, Marco, was attentive and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service, a beautiful place and very friendly server, the food was amazing, it was a very good experience……..

Sunday's brunch was excellent - excellent service and food. Buffet offers so many options from seafood, sushi, salads and grilled meats. Great value. Overall a fantastic experience. We will be back.

My friends and I went here for brunch and we had the best time ever. The food was more than amazing, as well as our server Gilberto, he was very kind, and polite. We be coming back some other time.

Absolutely lovely. The food was amazing and the staff were very kind and helpful. We had a great time.

From walking up, made to feel welcome to walking out satisfied. We were extremely pleased with the staff and dinning experience. The manager Amine tended to us, and sat us even though we had no reservation. Gave us recommendations and they did not disappoint. Throughout the experience from margaritas to desert service was amazing thanks to Ilhame. Guac for an appetizer, with what seemed to be homemade tortilla chips. The signature Churrasco. Tender lamb, full flavored beef steak, and juicy chicken. Meat lovers perfect meal. Really glad we stopped by for dinner and experienced great Latin food far from home. Thank you Amine, Ilhame, and Toro staff!

We had a wonderful lunch this past Friday, for a retirement we had here at the office. The staff and food were perfect! The food was extremely varied, seafood, steak, chicken and pork, in addition to that there was Mahi Mahi Tacos and 4 diffrent salads. You can't go wrong at Toro Toro. Yassine and his staff were very understanding of our needs. I would recommend Toro Toro for any office type luncheon or a get together with friends. Henry Montenegro.

Please see my other reviews of steakhouses all over the world, I have traveled internationally in first class hotels and destinations for years. Never ever have I been ripped of like at Toro Toro! The tomahawk steak was advertised at a market price, which is ok (no price was advertised) The quality was at best average but for 295$ ??? It was ordered medium rare but was prepared medium to well done and to salty. Service was mediocre at best. Not attentive to empty drinks even though the restaurant was 2/3 empty. Go to Five Guys instead! What a scam!!!!

They have the best drinks here. Great meal as well. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. So good, but the service is what really made our visit special was the bartender Victor. He was so good. He remember what you had and makes it so good.

Very disappointed would be an understatement. We were really looking forward to this meal and afterwards my impression was it was over priced, poorly cooked food. Normally TripAdvisor reviews are right on, this time they were off. The Ceviche appetizer was OK, nothing special. We both order the grilled Snapper, the fish was over cooked, to make up for it they undercooked the broccoli. The only dish cooked correctly and had any flavor was the carrots which raised the review from one to two stars. But 200 plus dollars for a small plate of carrots is not good value. Would not return

We came here for the Christmas dinner. Online it mentioned a intro seasonal drink, choice of app, choice of cut for a 32oz steak and a dessert. Priced per couple. The drink was miniature which set our expectations for the rest of the meal. We were then surprised when our octopus app was followed by our tomahawk with grilled peppers, a side of grilled brocollini and asparagus, a sweet potato side and a smoky salad with avocado. We ended up ordering the truffle Mac thinking we were only getting a steak. We ended up having a whole Christmas feast. The noodles were slightly overdone in the Mac but that was our only criticism for the entire meal. It was all delicious and surprised us. We’d come back, especially for a holiday meal. Noticed they have a 5 course NYE meal! Also the restaurant was abiding by distancing more than any other restaurant I’ve seen thus far in Miami. Since they are in the intercontinental they have a lot more space to spread the tables. It is a very dark environment, you might not be able to read the menu.. every table had phone flashlights out. And the music is a little too upbeat pop for a restaurant of this type. But the food was everything. Our server even wrapped up our tomahawk bone to take home for the dog.

I can absolutely recommend the restaurant. It is a highlight and every dish, starter and main course as an old horse tastes excellent and it is very unique and you can see that it was freshly prepared. In addition, the waiter Marco was very helpful and gave tips on the food but also tips on going out in the area and eating out in the area. I would come back here every time. But the price level is higher.

A restaurant that really cares about presentation. Had lunch and dinner there. Entire staff takes immense pride in what they do. Mentioned it was our wedding anniversary on Open Table, and server Edgar Gomez surprised us at dinner with champagne and an extra special dessert finale. All the courses were delicious and meticulously prepared. We look forward to returning.

I've travelled far, from the uk to Miami and this is by far the best steakhouse I've ever been to. Beating The Cut 45 park lane too. Great food , excellent cooking and amazing taste and service.

The experience was fantastic!!!! Our server Angie, the bartender Tony and GM James Eckhart were amazing. Thank you for everything.

Love it!! Jessica, Carlos and Talicia are the best!! Beautiful place, great music and delicious food and amazing service 🤩

Thank you for a great brunch! Good food, drinks and service! Yassine, our waiter was great! For a boozy brunch this location is awesome!

Bartender at toro toro was so personal and took great care of us. Drinks were so well prepared. Great environment

Being in the hotel at INTERCONTINENTAL and having arrived late we dine here. FANTASTIC! very kind and helpful food absolutely great, perfect and above all abundant. Even the right final bill. Also recommended for those who do not stay here but want to eat good meat .. and not only!

The food and atmosphere at ToroToro Miami is perfect and classic Miami. I can not speak highly enough of Yahaira. Yahaira is attentive, knowledgeable of the restaurant’s offerings, and a pleasure to deal with. The steak she recommended was great. The lobster tail she suggested I pair it with was the best I’ve had. Last but not least the Torta de Avellanas! This was a solid 5 star experience, thank you Yahaira!

Just go to the bar and ask for Victor!! He’ll make you any cocktail your liver desires. He adjusted the Machu Pichu and used Casamigos Reposado and just made my day! Best cocktails, best service and best location in downtown Miami.

Good service, well presented food and delicious food. They also have a full stocked bar available and delicious wine. Good range in the menu too for all dietary requirements. Would recommend for light option the salads they were delicious alongside the ceviche.

Had an amazing dinner at Toro Toro on a weekday evening with Irina being our server. She was extremely kind and helpful. The food came out really quickly and Irina was very attentive to our every need. Some of the food was a little spicy for my taste, but I would still go back even just for the great service.

Met a bartender at the bar, by the name of Victor who made the best mojito and negroni I’ve ever gotten the pleasure of sipping. Excellent service all around.

We booked the hotel for the last night of our Florida trip, and we decided as well to eat at the Toro Toro resturant; the evening was very quiet in the restaurant, however the food was good (dessert was exceptional in the shape of a cigar..), and service was excellent. No regret there.

Vaya! This experience was out of this world. The staff treated me as if I was a queen. My bags were brought up to my room while I enjoyed a meal and drink with my husband at Toro Toro. We enjoyed the grilled avocado, arepa dish, lobster Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. Everything was mouth watering! The pool had a DJ and bar that made our stay so fun without even leaving the hotel. Andrea told us about all of the activities going on at the hotel that week. We went to salsa night at the hotel which included a salsa class and my husband and I had so much fun. Everything was above our expectations. I are recommend this hotel to anyone.

We celebrated my Hubby's 50th Birthday with 20 of our friends. Toro Toro was very accommodating and provided us with amazing service. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

great food and service all the time! iam a fan! love it!! all richard sandoval restaurant concepts are great, i have visited NY, california, florida and all of them are fantastic, but Toro Toro Miami is one of the best!

Came here due to heavy rain, with our puppy and my husband. The food at the buffet was delicious and fresh. The service was more than excellent. Aimée was very friendly, and efficient. Definitely coming back.

Really it s very nice restaurant and delicious food I recommend for everyone come to Miami down town.thx you for Florian .he recommended for us delicious meal

My friend and I had dinner at Toro Toro to celebrate her birthday. The food was quite good and the portions are definitely generous. Our favorite part was the unexpected serenading rendition of Happy Birthday that one server sang to my friend after they brought us a piece of delicious chocolate cake.

Víctor welcomed us with open arms when we came back to the hotel from our wedding day. He is amazing and so friendly like family. Toro toro food and drinks are 5 stars. Intercontinental hotel is the best hotel. Vallet service is top notch. We wish we could stay more. We love Miami!!! Thank you for everything! We will be back

From beginning to end of this experience, I was greeted and treated like a V.I.P.. I had the pleasure of sitting at the bar with Cliff who steered me right into the Endless All you can eat, Executive Lunch Special. This is a fresh, cooked on the spot, buffet style venue featuring Pan American cuisine. From the salad bar, selection of proteins ranging from grilled beef, chicken, and salmon, to the selection of turmeric rice, grilled vegetables, desserts and everything else you may desire in-between. They have an excellent service staff attending to your every need. A must try kind of place. My lunch was so good I decided to have another plate and go to my scheduled meeting a bit late! I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy this restaurant located within the Hotel InterContinental Miami. A great property featuring incredible waterfront and city views, a few restaurants to choose from, gift shops, and a wonderful spa experience.

We went to celebrate a friend birthday, Victor our bartender was the best. Great Drinks. Ask for him if you are at the bar. Great experience

Heard so much about this place, but is just another "trendy" overpriced restaurant. Cocktails were bland and food was just ok.... will not return

We had a nice time at Toro Toro. Very similar to Toro restaurant in Los Cabos Mexico. Food was pretty good. Shrimp app outstanding. Beef Empanada very good as well. Short Rib with bone marrow was very disappointing. Service was a bit below par. Nice person but not attentive at all. Ambiance ok. I am not a big fan of hotel restaurants but this one was decent feel. Can’t wait to get out of the Miami pulsating dance music that seems to be a must have. I guess I am getting old! Overall, decent but not great value/experience for the dollar. You have better options in Miami.

Victor the bartender imade the best mojitos in Miami !! Great Happy hour super fun , great music and the guacamole is the best

Last night me and my husband had our anniversary and we decided to visit Toro Toro, we had a super cool time, excellent place and food, all thanks to the recommendation of our waiter Gilberto, I recommend visiting Toro Toro.

I have emailed, called, and even mailed a paper copy of my email, hoping for a response. No response from the manager of the restaurant. This was an expensive meal on Thanksgiving, which I expected. What I did NOT expect was to have dreadful service about half way through the meal. The server abandoned us for a lengthy period. Then another server appeared with desserts we had not ordered. Then he went away and someone, I forget who, appeared with a plastic placemat and started to set up for a fancy dessert at an extra charge of $20 per person. We had not ordered that either! Finally the manager saw we were getting terrible service, and she took over. We finally got small pecan tarts, and they were rather dry. Not good. And we waited AGAIN too long to get our check. I dont spend this kind of money to get such bad service. I asked to have a partial refund in my emails, on their own contact page, and I got no reply at all. I told them writing a bad review would be my last resort. On the plus side, the entrée was good. Finally, the restaurant was so very loud that I could not hear my companion right next to me, and I could not hear the server or the manager. We had to scream the whole time. I have learned that this is what a lot of people LIKE in Miami, so thats not what I am complaining about. Sorry to have to write this, but Toro Toro's manager left me no choice. I had hoped for a credit or a partial refund. This was a treat, not everyday dining for me. I dont have that fat a wallet. Thus, I am very disappointed. A special occasion with a niece I had not seen for years. was not special after all.

Located in the Intercontinental Hotel with a relaxing and friendly ambiance. Steaks were cooked to perfection at medium rare and rare. Try the grilled avocado. Mashed potatoes were creamy and delightful. Our server recommended the Pina Colada Rum Cake and glad that she did. She also recommended, depending of point of view, a reasonably priced Daou Cabernet Sauvignon at $70. A great meal and service for a memorable meal.

Tonight, Miss Isabella attended to us, and I must say, her service was exceptional. I can confidently say that it has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. The food was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and I would argue that it’s the best dining experience in all of Miami. When you visit, I highly recommend asking for Isabella; she is incredibly warm and attentive towards her customers, making sure that every need is met with a smile. Her dedication to providing excellent service truly enhances the overall experience.

It could have been great but it was frustrating in the end :( Cons in chronological order: - The bottle of wine we ordered was reported as sold out, even though it was not marked as such on the wine list, so we had to settle for another one, so this delayed the whole process... - one of the three main courses on the menu was sold out - again we were only told once we had ordered, more delays in the evening. - There was no sign of any food, not even a bread basket, for the first 45 minutes after we ordered - even though we asked for some bread as the kids were starving. I basically had to go ask the restaurant manager myself what was going on, after the first two issues describes above. The manager brought us some bread, and then some fries too as a goodwill gesture, but my kids had started chewing on the table legs already by then! Pros: - The food we were finally able to get was really good, except the chicken which replaced the steak (see above) in the end - The Miami spice menu actually was good value for money. We were looking forward to it but walked out a bit frustrated at the end of the dinner, really.

Food and service was great. Its just super expensive. Its about $70 just for the steak and sides are extra. Try it at least one. Filet, btussels sprouts, and potato 3 ways. Delicous.

Amazing service!!!! Eddy and Edgar were above and beyond!! Both were making sure our dinner was exceptional! Great recommendations and exceeded their service! Definitely coming back!

Victor, the bartender at Toro Toro’s Sunday brunch is amazing. Sit in the high tops, he wil treat you like a VIP

Marco and the staff at toro toro made it one of the best dinning experiences I’ve had in recent history, you will not be disappointed!

We when for a family brunch i called to make sure the brunch was Easter related everything they stated over the phone was lie. Supposedly they were having crabs (none) an Easter bunny never saw it the brunch was not worth it at all the food lines long. Very bad experience.

We went for a drink because we were feeling peckish. We got a guacamole which was very good. The portion is generous. The setting is pleasant with a large space and Lounge music.

The food and service was amazing! Marco made the best recommendations and was extremely helpful with explaining the menu! I am coming back for brunch soon!

Good food, portion size is satisfying. Steak was cooked perfectly. Good service. The dining room is big and they provide valuable buffet. 菜很好吃。菜量也可以,前菜+主菜能吃饱。牛排的火候很漂亮,掌勺者水平不俗。服务也可以(18%服务费)用餐区域很宽敞,同时午饭也有高性价比的自助餐选择。

Celebareted a birthday here and yassine was excellent he was on top of us and made sure everything was up to par definitely recommend him as a waiter.

I visited this restaurant on Noche Buena, my server was Gilberto, very professional and helpful, great service. The food was great, definitely recommend you go and try it out.

We had a fantastic experience at Toro Toro with the Miami Spice menu. Between our group of friends we were able to get a taste of an array of the best dishes with Marco as our wedding. Best part for me, aside from the steak was La Bomba!

We were with my family. Kids enjoyed kids meal. We ordered steak with truffled potato and it was beautiful. Service was too long because of Ultra here but everything was perfect. The bill 220 usd total

My server was Gilberto and he treated us amazing as well as the rest of the staff at the restaurant. The food quality was amazing. Will definitely be coming back some time soon!

Do not be fooled. Just because this restaurant is inside a hotel, it is one of the best restaurants in the city of Miami

This is the third and last time I return to the Intercontinental hotel restaurant. This good hotel does not deserve to be discredited with bad food. It tries to be modern American food fusion with Latin America but ends up being McDonald's type fast food, but with a bad taste. The starter was terrifying, pork belly. And it turned out to be 4 cold pieces of chicharrón on a lot of poorly made guacamole. The guacamole was too sour due to too much lemon. I couldn't finish it. It came accompanied by some chips on greasy paper in the same fryer cage where they were made. This way you save the plate, from the fryer to the table. The 8 ounce filet at $65 was not to the required level. A disaster

Amazing service and delicious food. My husband and I were able to enjoy and share the porterhouse steak… perfectly made for two! Ask for Marco!

Had a great time with my family. Came to celebrate my son-in-law’s birthday and was greeted with great service from start to finish with our waiter Orlando. He was very informative and attentive the whole time. The food was phenomenal. Thank you for a great family experience.

This is a restaurant specialized in meats which are spectacular (the way it is prepared and the flavor) and that is why it is worth trying it once, but it is a very expensive restaurant in general. The salad was very poor, the meat accompaniments were very normal, the drinks were very expensive and the dessert was very original. Almost 58 dollars of tip included (I didn't like the girl who served us) in total 410 dollars for a salad, a meat for three and a dessert plus drinks (3 waters and a beer). Thank goodness the meat was spectacular, but if you go, prepare your wallet (I know that everything in Miami is expensive compared to Europe). Good atmosphere inside the Intercontinental Hotel.

I got there late night for Miami Spice. Good food at at a good prices, can’t complain. Jessica the Hostess & Carlos who was my server made me feel welcomed. I had the Bone Marrow & Short Rib w/Garlic bread. Grilled Shrimp with corn risotto & Granita Lychee Raspberry with vanilla creamy. Cue in the sing Let Me Go by Avril Lavigne. Anniversary tribute to German American ex gf.

Great service! I went to have dinner with my friends and we ordered a Toro Toro Skewer Gilberto was who came to the table and cut up our meat. He did an amazing job at explaining the skewer and he was very professional and patient. Definitely going back soon!

Came to Toro Toro for Fathers brunch and had the best bartender servicing while I waited for my family. Victor was super friendly and made me an amazing drink! Highly recommened. Stop by and say hello and gtab a drink!

Marco was the best server we’ve had. Great recommendations for food as well as night life. Would recommend 100 times over. Make sure you get Marco!

We were a party of 7 and had exotic cocktails, ceviche to start and wonderful entrees followed by an artistic chocolate dessert. The fire dancer was additional entertainment. Parking is discounted at the Hotel Intercontinental

Wonderful good and ambiance. The stake is perfect and the lobster Mac and Cheese was wonderful. The drinks were very innovative. Enjoyed the experience. Just be prepared for a large bill. The service could have been better when it got busy. Overall great experience.

Jessica the host and the waiter marco really took care of us and our family really took care of our family for our wedding event. They gave us exceptional service and really outdid themselves. Thank you for taking care of our family and friends.

It is another restaurant from Richard Sandoval who owns around 50 restaurants around the world. I have been in many of them and they are really good. This is a Steakhouse with a touch of Mexican as all of the restaurant that he owns.

Victor is the best bartender ever , great smile & so attentive ! The music & the happy vibe really made this trip so UCB fun!! They got it going on here at Toro Toro ♥️

Was not all that impressed. Daughter and I shared 3 apps. Ceviche was good but nothing special, steak on a stick same, empinadas were tasteless. There are none of the great flavors I expect from South American food. Price was the only thing that was high-end. Will not be back for any return Miami trips

FOOD MADE US INCREDIBLY SICK. All 3 of us. Meal was $430 with no drinks. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that has made me sick until now. When trying to call the restaurant AND the hotel I get no reply. Insanely greasy. Restaurant was almost empty, no wonder why. I've lived in miami for years and have never heard of this place until a friend visiting from out of town wanted to go there. I don't eat meat or fish so for a restaurant to make me ill it means there is something truly bad in their food. All 3 of us ate different meals.

My company hosted a cocktail hour at the Toro Toro Lounge for 40+ guests. It's a great space and the Toro Toro team was friendly, responsive and attentive to our needs. I would certainly recommend it as a venue for a business event of up to 50 people.

A good bartender can fix you a proper cocktail, of course, but there’s more to the job than making drinks. Victor is a true bar professional. He is a true mixologist and bartender extraordinaire. Toro Toro is a beautiful bar along the Miami river and Bayside bay. The views are picturesque. I cannot imagine a more amazing spot to spend your time when in Miami. Make sure you stop by and say hello to Victor at the bar! ¡Dale!

Vary good never refilled my own glass food was amazing and tender for the stakes the seafood appetizers was way good and coook just right

Everything was amazing from service, to drinks , to food. Our bartender Victor was exquisite as well. We will definitely be back for the service

We had an amazing experience at Toro Toro. The drinks were amazing and the bartenders, Victor & Cliff, are super nice. Please check them out whenever you’re in the area.

Very nice place in the hotel. Excellent, above many hotel restaurants!, with nice atmosphere, good service, and excellent food. Great place to come with friends. Empanadas were excellent, steak and shrimp excellent. Service allowed substitution due to restrictions. Would highly suggest and come back!

I was at the ultra festival this weekend, and on Friday i went to go eat. Great service, food and treatment thanks a lot to Gilberto.

Marco was amazing! Exceptional service! Very knowledgeable about his craft. Very great energy & overall we enjoyed ourselves!

Went for Mother’s Day brunch with the family. Beautiful atmosphere, very special and fun day. Yassine was very attentive and courteous, thank you for making our visit remarkable! Our server Aimee was so kind and sweet she accommodated our kids instantly and got them chicken tenders; truly kind of her when it was a self-serve buffet style! We have been to Toro Toro for dinner and didn’t disappoint either.

It is a Wonderfull place , delicious food excellent cocktails, and worth every penny. Just go ask for Ameey and take her opinion in everything you want !!! You will not regret it I promise ! She has taste in everything.

You must ask for Victor! Best bartender ever. I went down to the bar the first day we arrived at The Intercontinental hotel because I had brought a bottle of wine to share with my wife but the bottle opener in my room was not acting right. He had such a great personality that we came down later for drinks then decided to have dinner there last night. We said hi on our way in and he waited on us for dinner! He seriously makes the best Long Island Teas I have ever had. I think we may just have to stop back down there tonight. His personality just make you feel so special after having talked with him.

My second time at Toro toro. This time for the celebration of one of my friend birthday. The service provided by Yassine was excellent , he was on top of the table all the time.It was a great experience.

Staying at the hotel. Husband having cataract surgery next day at Bascom Palmer. Sat at the bar and had a margarita while food was prepared to take upstairs to room to eat with husband. Great food and nice lady bartender made it a pleasure. Ordered corn empanadas, delicious tomato, burrata, and watermelon salad, beef tiradito.

The food at Toro Toro was phenomenal! Carlos was an incredible waiter and so personable. The drinks were even better! My hotel room was 5 star, clean, comfortable, and classy. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to have a luxurious experience.

Sat at the bar with my wife and Victor was very welcoming and took great care of us. I will definitely be back!

Located inside Intercontinental Hotel Miami. We had dinner. Friendly employees provided excellent service, and our food was tasty. Prices were as you expect in downtown Miami. There are no solid walls between hotel lobby, Bar & restaurant, so the noise factor is beyond unreasonable. It was hard to carry on a normal conversation.

My server Marco was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I really enjoyed my food and drinks but Marco was attentive, patient and pleasant and made my visit to Miami memorable. Incredible service!

Excellent place, exquisite food, impeccable service, especially Oto, very friendly and professional, a place to repeat without a doubt

This restaurant is situated inside Intercontinental hotel. We were there for lunch. My husband had a burger which was a generous portion. I had the Tiger Prawn dish which came with the empty Tiger Prawn shells so what looked like a generous portion, was in fact quite a small portion, - and it was more expensive than my husband's hamburger.

Awesome! Excellent Service, great food! We went for a late night dinner, it was amazing! and the dessert, fabolous

We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental and were really hungry when we arrived so we tried this restaurant. Usually with very view exeptions the hotel restaurants aren‘t known to be the best. This is really a biiiiiiig suprise!! I think it‘s the best steakhouse i‘ve ever been. With over 800 reviews here, thats something. Really great Service and the food was beyond. We went there twice.

Convenient for casual fine dining. My husband loves fine dining and Toro Toro is his new favorite spot for Filet Mignon and Mike as well. Sad to admit, but I had it two nights, back to back. Outstanding flavor and melts in your mouth. Ask for the server who looks like Jason Momoa, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy.
Amazing Dinner
Food was amazing, best steak l've had ever. Service was awesome, our server Juan was super nice and attentive, he really made us feel at home, Highly recommend this place, would definitely come back.
