Enjoyed the chicken a lot - and everyone seems to have a really good time. What other said about the chicken wait is true so just know that coming in and order quickly but it’s a great place!

Went for an early dinner, so no crowds or noise. Just great chicken. Better than most of the other places in neighborhood. The tenders were moist and not overcooked.

We initially headed here on Sat eve but the wait time was 45 mins and we were starving so headed elsewhere and came back in Sunday eve. We were seated straight away and food and drink came fairly quickly. We ordered fried dumplings and fried chicken, both very tasty. The bill arrived quickly after that (without asking for it, or asking if we wanted anything else) which was a shame as we were up for staying for another cocktail, sadly when we asked for the menu to order another drink the waiter dropped off the menu but never came back to take our order. Good food, nice vibe, shame about the service.

Great place, especially if you like good old-school jazz. Decor is really funky - a mixture of Korean, audio studio, and cowboy western, not sure how to describe it. Service was great and friendly, and prices are reasonable by NYC standards. I had the Pork Belly Salad, and the pork belly and salad greens were great, but the dressing a little too sweet for my taste - this was a bit disappointing , since so many Japanese/Korean restaurants make excellent nuanced salad dressing in a similar vane.

This place is extremely loud and is what I would consider to be a dive bar. The food was good, but not good enough to make me want to go back. The atmosphere is just not attractive. It’s difficult when you constantly have to yell to hear each other. They are tiny little high top tables with stools that have no backs on them. We had to have our coats draped over our laps the whole time.

(Last visited 12/4/2021.) Hanging out in New York City to check out the Christmas decorations and of course the Rockefeller Tree, but I have to eat right? I've heard great things about this place's wings so we came here to check them out! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is SO COOL. I would consider it a huge restaurant for it being located right in the heart of Manhattan. The ceilings are super high and the place is decorated head to toe. There are book cases holding tons of records scattered all around, warm-yellow drop lighting and shelves stuffed with old radios. This place gives off such a cool vibe and I loved it. Service: I can't remember the guy's name who took care of us, but I do remember us having an issue, but no matter. We had a decent time. Food: So they have quite a few state beers on tap and I dabbled in a few of those, but let's get to the wings. First, they're breaded and I'm not the biggest fan, but... it definitely added to the wing for sure. I tried their Hot & Spicy flavor first and they were actually pretty good. The wings have a "fluffy crunch" which means the batter is very light. They're also huge might I add. The second flavor was Soy Garlic and this had a good hoisin flavor and a bit of a rounded, buttery flavor from that garlic. Solid wings. Value: I can't remember what the prices of everything was here, but I know it's New York City, but you have to pay to play. Lol. If you made it this far in the review, I appreciate you reading. Please do me a favor and head on over to "The Hungry Road" on YouTube and subscribe! My channel features a lot of food, car and exclusive shoe related content! Thank you so much!

Very cool location. For any lover of records 👍 the food is good and the staff very nice. I found the Korean tomato sauce boring, but the hot ramen was well seasoned.

Taken here by some business colleagues for a relaxing few beers and something to eat. It was busy, we didn't have a reservation and needed to wait about 45 minutes for a table, but WOW, was it worth it. I LOVED THE FRIED CHICKEN .... the crispy skin seemed to float above the juice tender meat. And the sauces/seasonings were PERFECT. I will be back, even on my own for a seat at the bar.

This is the second time I go to this restaurant and it never disappoints this time we had the Korean fry chicken among other things but I have to say it is the best chicken I’ve had in a long time it’s juicy and crunchy recommend 100%

Great hidden spot in Koreatown. Even though I've been here once before, I walked by it twice and missed it. There is a small sign board outside. So the entrance is similar to that of an apartment complex and there is a small set of stairs that go up. Inside the whole place is all sorts of turntable and phonographic memorabilia which is very interesting. This place gets packed on the weekends and noisy as well. So the best time to come here would be during the week. They're known for their wings/drums, which are indeed really good. I got the half and half combination and also got the fried dumplings. You can get that as well in both hot and soy garlic sauce. Free lychee soju with Yelp check in. They have limited drafts and they usually have the asahi and hite. Overall great place to check out if the neighborhood, don miss the entrance! 4 stars because even though the wings are good, they take a while to come out, little pricey (12 wings for 18$ is a bit much) and not really that good for the price.

I had read reviews before coming to this restaurant that were a little mixed. Wow - I'm so glad we went because we thoroughly enjoyed this place!!!! I loved the decor, the 1920s kind of jazzy vibe and music, and the service was fantastic!!!!! The servers kept checking on us throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious!!! We had the soy chicken breast (so so good) - beef bulgogi platter with sticky rice - equally tasty!! Also dumplings and beers. All food came out super hot and fresh - would definitely return here!!!!

Came here for the first time before a concert at MSG. Perfect location. The decor, records and vibe was awesome. We got the potato twister appetizer. Delicious. I Got the fried chicken sandwich and my gf got just the chicken. Crispy and flavorful. She especially got a lot of pieces. The only negative that keeps it being a five star review is that we got moved twice. The first time we were sat across from the bar, but we were then moved all the way to back which was nice and quiet, until a big party was being set up and they undercounted seats so they asked us to move again to the middle. The staff was very nice about it and felt bad. We’re easy going so we didn’t mind. First time for everything. The food made it worth it!

Great range on the menu offering a twist on classic dishes. Fried dumplings half and half were delicious and I can’t decide which I prefer. We followed this with the grilled chicken burger (so tender) and Bulgogi burger (shredded rib eye meat - lovely change) Worth a visit for good food in a relaxed setting

Great place to eat. Great decor to do with music and the beer is served in lava vessels with a tap, so looks really cool. Would recommend. Food was delicious too.

Went to turntable chicken jazz for a team work do. Despite being hard to find when we finally did it was certainly worth it. The restaurant bar has a fantastic buzz about it and had great music playing throughout the night. We ordered plenty of food and it kept coming out extremely quickly. All very good and tasty but the chicken was the real highlight. This was my first Korean BBQ chicken experience and I will certainly look forward to the next one. Only slight negative was the beer tower which the staff kept on insisting we bought rather than pitchers. Whilst we realise the pitchers hold less beer than the beer tower the novelty of the flashing tower wore off very quickly and became a pain. Several pitchers would have been easier!

A group of co-workers went after seeing a movie. We got there on the early side of dinner so there was no wait and we were seated right away. The wings were AH MAH ZING! So crispy and flavorful. Tried both kinds. The corn app was delish and super cheesy. Would totally go back here again.

The food in this restaurant is great. The chicken tastes really good but be warned because it’s very spicy.

My wife and I were spending a long weekend in NYC, and walked by this place on our way to the theater district. We are so happy we decided to stop in! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is wonderful! The portions are a very nice for the prices. The wings are a must, just terrific! We would definitely go again.

I've got to ask: What's up with the high accolades this spot's food has received from so many reviewers?!? I couldn't agree more with fellow reviewers on the atmosphere(to include choice of music): It's just short of genius in its planning and execution. Unfortunately, our "food experience" wasn't worthy of the atmosphere. Stopped here on a recent visit to NYC, as this spot was very highly recommended by friends: "You've GOT to go there! They have the BEST Korean fried chicken you'll ever eat!" Well- it wasn't by a long shot. Coming from Hawaii, we know/love good Korean food ...and expected flavorful, creative Korean "spins" on bar food offerings. Here's what we experienced: -Beers & Cocktails: All fine -Hush Puppies: Dense, flavorless- the worst we've ever had -Fried Dumplings(both flavors): Average at best (and based on the barely-warm temp. when they arrived at our table, I'm thinking they were sitting around the kitchen for quite a while before they were served) -Hand Cut Fries: Soggy(sitting around a while?), average at best -Grilled Corn: Lacked flavor (and again, appeared/tasted as though they were sitting around in the kitchen for a long time before being served) -Cheese Sticks: Flavorless! -Calamari: EXTREAMLY tough and fishy -Large order of Fried Chicken Breast (both flavors): Best described as thinly sliced, dry, overly cooked "hockey pucks". As other reviewers have mentioned, when ordering the fried chicken, you are informed that it will take 30 minutes to prepare. Our chicken came out in less than 10 minutes, leading me to believe that our chicken was pre-cooked, then dumped back into the fryer to re-heat it. At this point it became apparent that most of our items had been pre-cooked, and then probably re-heated just prior to serving. Restaruants are natorious for being "hot", and then not ...and then closed. This establishment is obviously riding a wave of popularity. While the atmosphere is worthy of "cheking the place out", the food the kitchen is turning out isn't worthy of a return visit. I have no doubt the VENUE (with its creative atmosphere) will survive: I can't picture the current owners lasting for more that a year or two.

When I'm in the mood for Korean Fried Chicken, this is the place I always go to. The atmosphere at this place is great as well. The service here is on point and always pleasing. They're kimchi fried rice is delicious as well too.

Only ate hush puppies, different spin but not bad. Had a glass of house wine and it was a Mondavi with a good pour. The highlight was the atmosphere. Whoever designed this place knew what they were doing. Stop in for a look.

We had so much fun and a very tailor-made experience at this place. The waitress advised us to try the Soju and it was amazing. The food was incredible too with a very great fusion and Korean touches. Last the ambiance was amazing with a very old school decoration!

Went here for another Monday supper club . To be honest I was expecting more Korean spices in the fried chicken . Was a bit disappointed however he atmosphere and prices and good . Still can’t screw up fried chicken and beer .

The Hot & Spicy Chicken was awesome -- and it really is "hot" and "spicy." Go for a milder option unless you know you can take it. Make sure you order something to cut the spice, like the seaweed salad. I also strongly recommend the "Twister" potato. The staff was friendly and the environment was relaxed, despite being quite busy. I loved the LPs and the vintage stereo equipment on the wall. I think the place needs a live DJ spinning jazz records, but maybe they do that at other times.

...you decide!!! But you will have to go to Turntable to figure out which perfectly seasoned wing will tip the scale for you! For my money it was a combo of 3 garlic to 1 spicy. The spicy was so hot (in a really good way) that it required 3 garlic wings to cool down. Opposites attract! Three of us annihilated 52 wings...and a few tasty drafts. No other nutrition required when feasting on the finest fried wings in the NYC. We went to the 5th ave incognito location. Be patient...you will find it. Just look up. Kudos to Jack...great find!

Delicious chicken, crispy, juicy, flavourful. Enormous starters! Calamari was enough for four people easily! Service friendly, fast, efficient. Overall a great experience with amazing food.

This place is a mecca for old vinyl fans and old tapes like myself. I have seen all of my favorite jazz vinyl exhibited here. The place is really amazing. The beer is good. The food is awesome. Imagine a Korean-influenced pub and you get half of the picture. It can be crowded at night, therefore with a long waiting line. If you can't sit down, just grab a drink by the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. They play mostly jazz music. Oh yeah!

Great atmosphere in the middle of a huge collection of historical records and recording equipment with inviting lighting. Very tasty food at affordable prices.

Visited by recommendation from a friend, and I'm so glad we did. The unique decor of vintage music and recording furnishings is worth the experience. We made it at dinner, and my understand is that they have jazz music in the evenings but we didn't get to experience that. It just fits New York to a T with its unique atmosphere and good food. Husband had the Korean Fried Chicken Wings, combo of spicy and regular. The spicy was....spiiiccccy! The original was really great. I had the Kimchi fried rice with a sunnyside egg on top (picture featured) and it didn't disappoint. It was a spicy, but enjoyable, not to the point of unbearable. Great experience. I would go back and have more Korean Fried Chicken for sure. But beware that the chicken takes about half an hour to cook, so plan accordingly.

Tourist tripping and we just finished happy hour. My favorite NYC couple asked if we wanted to check out some KFC wings..Korean Fried Chicken wings that is....never had it..let's go! Service: Friday evening and it's packed, but this did not hinder the great service. We were seated immediately upon walking in, our servers got our drink and food orders in and it was on. Food came out timely and later when we were asked about dessert, we ordered some Kimchee fried rice and that came out just as fast as any dessert item could have. Good stuff. KFC and more: The fried chicken wings were perfectly crispy which really brought out the taste. The batter used was thick but not overwhelming, good times. The Korean Seafood Pancake was the size of a small pizza, which is a good thing as it complimented the wings well. The Kimchi Fried rice we had for dessert had a great blend of kimchi and veggies, but it was the sunnyside egg and bacon that really brought it home. Ambiance: Turntable Chicken jazz is the name. Vintage turntables, records, stereo equipment and other music memorabilia on their cement and brick walls is their decoration game! Lots of dark wood, copper and dim lighting give for a kind of industrial steam punk vibe? Hard to describe but there's definitely a high energy pulse in the evenings to enhance your dining pleasure. The lighted beer towers with the dry ice effect is cool to look at and makes you want to order one..or maybe that's just me looking for an excuse to order too much beer. The soju comes out in a carafe which I completely appreciate as it makes it easier to order another one. Again probably just me. I had a great time in this cool trendy joint, and the next time I'm in the Empire State building area I'll probably be looking for an excuse to visit.

Atmosphere - nice Service - average Meal - good Went for drinks and dinner for a friends birthday, this place is a hot spot so make sure you get there early or be ready to wait. Chilled at the bar and got a bottle of Soju for the group, it was room temperature which I thought was ok but was later told it should be warm like a tea or chilled but not room temperature. The bar was narrow but nice, with a retro music feel. Once seated the you can see that the dining room is retro also, keeping with the motif. We had ordered the wings and hush puppies while at the bar so that we would not need to wait too long once we sat down. Ordered large both the hot and soy garlic, they were both flavorful but I have to say I was disappointed with the hot wings because they were not spicy at all, they were more bland then the soy garlic. Ordered the hush puppies which were probably the best part of the meal. Also ordered the calamari, they were fried perfectly but minimally seasoned so they tasted bland also. Maybe I went in with expectations too high because it was talked up before dinner but I found that all of their food could have been seasoned better. The service was rather average at best.

The food was good, the restaurant gets very full during the lunch rush. Service is fast and turnaround time is pretty quick. Located upstairs, be careful in the dark stairwell.

One of my favorite Korean Fried Chicken restaurants in NYC. We tried their new location in East Village this time. We've been to their other locations in Koreatown in NYC too. The chicken is double-fried and crunchy. Delicious! If you ever want perfect Chicken wings - stop by here. Definitely worth stopping by. Loved the Turntable interior design! Come early - or you get to wait for hours for a table!

We arrived late afternoon on a Friday, and were seated immediately. We tried the cheese sticks, kimchi fried rice, and the half soy / half spicy chicken breasts. All were great, the waiter was friendly and helpful with food descriptions and options, and we highly recommend!

The best fried boneless chicken breast (especially with garlic sauce, and for chili-lovers with really hot chili sauce) with Kaminchi fried rice in midtown Manhattan, under the Empire State Building. Wonderful jazz music from a huge LP-collection and really nice beers. I recommend the Six Point Sweet Action, NY, IPA and the Allagash White Ale, Maine. Of course there is a variety of menu choices. To sum up, the only reason not to visit is if you hate jazz.

Food is good but took long to arrive. We had the Bulgogi burger which was tasty - would recommend. The vibe of the restaurant is unique and worth experiencing. Would describe it as jazzy and rustic. A good experience overall but nothing particularly amazing about it.

This is one of my new favorite Korean restaurants. The food is amazing! The Korean double fried chicken wings were delicious. I could not get enough. All dishes were well prepared and we could not stop eating them. This place gets really packed, so be prepared to wait for a table. The host was really great though - he suggested, we should order the food while waiting - so the food would be ready when we get seated. And he was right! We ordered while waiting, waited about 30 min... by the time we got a table, our food arrived with our drinks. Perfect! Can't wait to go back again!

This place is great for a group get together The music was excellent, there's a vinyl DJ booth overlooking the entire restaurant and the walls are library style lined with what must be 1000's of records. The beers come out in great dry ice chiilers - really good beer. The food is just Ok, and it was pretty cold in there - they leave the doors wide open. I'd go back if someone else was paying ;-)

I've enjoyed there with my friends. Wings were well prepared. I suggest you to drink - Pisco - it was pretty tasty. I emphasize that you ask for a drink in a bigGER glass. What I don't like is that the service is not that kind.

Great choice in Koreatown. Unexpected Jazz music lounge. Vinyl records & vintage audio gear everywhere. Splendid!

Met family here for lunch on a Sunday. Our first time eating Korean Fried Chicken and it was superb. Extra crispy yet juicy and tender meat. We had the soy-garlic instead of the hot and spicy, but you can get a half and half order if you like. We also tried the kimchi fried rice -- also very good. Full bar and several beers on draft. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Know that you have to wait for the chicken as it's cooked to order, but it's oh so worth the wait.

Centrally located restaurant with a fun, lively atmosphere and even better tasting chicken. Nice amount of food and drinks to chose from and I highly recommend the chicken burger/sandwich. Service was very fast and friendly.

Taking care of the aesthetics and decoration very well set Very good cocktails, something expensive like all the drink I recommend chicken combo

If your looking for some yummy Korean chicken. This is the place. They have slot of choices on the menu and I have never been disappointed. I also had the specialty cocktail they offered. It tasted great!

Very nice decor. Food is good but not great. Quite noisy. We waited for a very long time to get our food, and in a quite strange order: 20 minutes : coke and mojitos. Good coke. Bad mojitos. 30 minutes : the first starter. Twister. Good! 40 minutes : the main course : fried chicken. Good! 50 minutes. The side order. Corn. Ok. 60 minutes : the second starter. Dumplings. Good!

A friend who lives in the city recommended Turntable to us and we loved it. Sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the highly trained bar staff create craft cocktails. Had the Lychee Martini and Ginger Martini, both were delicious and perfectly balanced. Their Korean Fried Chicken is fresh, crispy and worth the 30 minute wait which they warned us about when we ordered it. We ordered the Medium Drum and Wing Combo, Half and Half, which means some Soy Garlic and some Hot, a perfect combination. The environment is hip and cool with old stereo equipment covering the two story walls with vinyl record albums and an incredible sound system. Looking forward to going back!

Astonishingly fantastic Korean chicken - simply the best I have ever had. Fantastic chicken and sides. Great atmosphere and music. Dark and cozy. Perfect Korean kimchi and sides. Would go back and that says a lot for a restaurant in Manhattan with so many to try.

Cute restaurant in Korea Town. We came for the fried chicken, and were not disappointed. Crispy, spicy and very good. Also had some kimchi (delish) and homemade pickles (eh). A worthwhile stop.

The decor was great and the music even better. As you can guess, the music was jazz. The chicken drum sticks were delicious, the porkbelly salad was interesting, kimchi almost as good as grandma's. The Korean bulgogi was nicely spiced - and the mushrooms were a surprise to me.

I loved this restaurant! I’m always looking for delicious Korean fried chicken and Turntable did not disappoint. The restaurant’s high ceilings allowed for walls covered in jazz memorabilia, collectibles and of course, lots of records. Service was super attentive during our late night meal. In addition to the twice fried, perfectly hot chicken wings, we also had a fried rice dish that was light and flavorful, and some house made pickles (delicious assortment of cucumbers, carrots, celery, cauliflower), yummy! With a great drink menu, DJ spinning jazz, an ultra hipster bar, and expansive food menu, I can’t wait to go back to sample other dishes (and of course, eat more delicious wings)!

Basic asian food - which was just ok. The vibe was ok too ...good old fashioned jazz music with lots of memorabilia, albums etc on the walls. Not somewhere you'd linger or take a date I'd think...but priced moderately. Crowd on this particular day was young, get in eat, have a drink, and leave.

You want to go somewhere for dinner that is unique and tasty, but doesn't make you feel like a tourist? This is that place...assuming you don't miss it. It's located on the second floor, but the door is easy to miss on 5th Ave. The food is very good and the decor is really fun and unique. They serve up some fun beers with your own little light show and dry ice experience. The fried chicken and wings are different from what I've had before. Not the best I've ever had, but really tasty and meaty. The hand cut fries and fried dumplings are pretty money too. This is a really fun place to go in Korea town, no doubt. I will definitely be back.

Good place, good quality cocktails, good simple service, good Asian food, great jazz music, we will be back

The food here is absolutely superb. A great selection of Korean food that tastes out of this world. The staff are attentive and happy to suggest or recommend a dish from their menu. When we visited they only had a license to serve food and drink until 10pm so suggest getting their early to ensure you have time to savour and enjoy your experience. The decor in the restaurant is just as amazing as the food with a selection of music orientated artefacts adorning the walls. A great little spot on 5th Avenue, well worth a visit.

This was a recommended restaurant by some locals and we had a great time. The old school music ambiance was warm and welcoming. The food was good. The night we were there the place was packed, so service was slow, but well worth the wait and no one complained.

Visited my friends in nyc and went there by their recommendation. Not Jazz bar as name suggests by jazzy atmosphere. Very lively with lots of young, mixed nationality crowd. Korean fried chicken is tasty as well as calamari. But we didn't pay much attention to the food rather to the beer and fun chat.

So delicious and so fun! We couldn't get a seat at the Fifth Avenue location but they have a second restaurant just around the corner on 32nd Street. The hostess assured us that it's the same menu and we loved the vibe. The chicken wings were outrageous and so were the fries and sides. Stay away from the Cheese Corn though; it's inedible mash-up of canned corn and mediocre cheese.

The prices were decent. Service was a little slow. Environment was fun. Annnnd the jury is still out on the chicken wings. I know, I have heard so many times that they are supposed to be the best in the city, but I think chicken wings are a bit like pizza in that everyones' preferences greatly differ. Turntable's version were tasty, but are definitely more along the lines of Korean style, and I prefer Buffalo style so I was not overly impressed.

Korean Fried Chicken, that is. If you have not had it, do. It's the best chicken you;ll have, period. They've recently moved to a spot not far away from the original location. It's on the 5th floor and sort of hidden, but worth the hunt. We enjoyed the appetizers we ordered as well as the big platters of KFC. Everything is made to order, so don't go if you're in a rush.

We went there before going to the Knicks. So perfect walking distance to grap something to eat before the game starts. Service was good and fast. The chicken was really good, not dry and very juicy. We had the half half and a turntable salad, perfect to share. Location is perfect, interior very cool. With the loud music the dinner had a complete different athmosphere, but good. Watch for the sign in front of the door, cause the restaurant is on the secornd floor.

We stumbled upon turntable a few years ago. Every time we are in Manhattanwe make it a point to have dinner there. There is a hip crows and a diverse group of people dining and enjoying the music, food and especially the drinks. The restaurant is suitable for a date, family outing or a party with friends. The staff is attentive and responsive. Most importantly the food is consitently toe curling good. I have two picky eaters in my family and they devour the food each and everytime. Run to turntable for your next mean when in NYC. My all-time favorite is the fried boneless chicken breast with soy ginger sauce.

They were very accommodating as we were a party of 12. We ordered fried chicken sandwich with fries. Perfectly prepared. Also ordered spicy pickle plate which had other veggies. Very tasty. We also ordered chicken fried rice, dumplings and crispy calamari. Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful. There homemade lemonade was equally tasty, not too sweet.

Though this place is very loud, the food is excellent, and great for sharing and the decor is kitsch!! The crispy wings are amazing, but they take 30 minutes to cook (definitely worth the wait!!)! I was not a fan of the hot ones, but then again...I never am! We were a party of eight, and shared a whole mess of items. None were disappointing. If there are any beer drinkers in the bunch, you MUST order the colorful, smoky beer dispenser thingy!! It is definitely insta-worthy!! Prices are oh-so reasonable too! What are you waiting for? Order the wings now...

This place is a hive of activity and deep soulful jazz, full of old vinyls and posters of the great mothers and fathers of Jazz. The food is a slice of Korean heaven, the kimchi delicious and spicy, the blogi burger was a delight and words can't do it justice, as I go into my Homer Simpson drool mode..... The feather in their cap is the wings, these crispy tasty yummy moorish morsels come in two different flavors for those who can't take the heat... I have been back twice already.

Honestly, all this place has going for it is the ambiance and the music. It's a really cool record library/lounge kind of setting, but the greatness stops there. Service wasn't good--rude host and server. Bartender was chill. Drinks were ok. Nothing worth the $15 price tag though. They offer beer towers which are cool for sharing. And then the kicker, the chicken wasn't good! It's a fried chicken place, so you'd think that would be the best thing on the menu. Chicken wasn't seasoned so it had no flavor to it, no uniqueness to how the chicken was fried so the breading wasn't cruchy or flavorful, and then the sauces were literally just hot sauce or soy sauce, so no depth in flavor at all. Overall, really disappointing for a place that could be really awesome.

OMG the Kimchi Fried Rice was everything. Nice place, service was very good. The music was phenomenal. Swing 40's Big Band Jazz, Fusion. Noise level was doable. Nice mix of patronage. But again..That Kimchi Fried Rice was life. Bite sized pieces of pork belly, light fried rice, kimchi. Very Very good

The atmosphere and service was execellent. We ordered cocktails, hot wings, tator tots, mozzarella sticks and fries. All were amazing! The wings were the best I have ever had.

We read about this place in New York Times Magazine Article and glad we did! Disregard any reviews about this being a poor environment. The place is really cool, walls of records and record players, speakers, and other musical devices. Incredible! Awesome antique tables and chairs. The smooth contemporary jazz music nicely contrasted with the loud pub style, wing joint environment. We went specifically for the wings, and they were excellent! We did soy ginger and hot. Flavors were great, but most unique aspect is the breading, which reminded me of Winger’s (if you’re familiar). Light, crispy, and delicious! The kimchi fried rice and seafood Korean pancake were also delicious. Definitely recommend!

I've had Turntable on my bookmarks list for a while but I finally got the chance to try it one cold Friday night when a friend and I were looking for a place to grab dinner and drinks. We came in a bit after 6 and they told us the wait would be 25 minutes, which was accurate. They had us peruse the menu while we waited because the wings take half an hour to make, and we would know what we wanted to order as soon as we were seated. Once we sat, we ordered and the waitress warned us again that the wings would take a while, which we were fine with. To start, we ordered the hand cut fries, which I wasn't a fan of. It was very plain, basic, and bland. We also had the rice cake with bulgogi and added cheese. I really liked this and would definitely recommend it. The bulgogi was nice and flavorful, and there was a good amount of it. My only suggestion would be to eat it quick if you order it with cheese, because the cheese cools off quickly, making the dish a little difficult to share. For wings, we went with the medium drum and wing combo, half soy garlic and half spicy. The chicken was perfectly fried and it did taste good. However, I'm not sure if it was fried to order because when we got it, the wings weren't even that hot (temperature-wise). Aside from that, I still enjoyed the wings. I liked the flavor of the soy garlic better. I wish both had more sauce though, as some bites were a little dry. The restaurant itself had a very cool vibe for it. I don't know why I didn't put two and two together beforehand, but I only realized once I got there that the turntable is referring to a record player. The place is decorated with old records and different types of music paraphernalia. Tip - if it's winter time, try to get a table towards the back. If you sit in the middle or front, you'll get the draft from people opening/closing the door.

Delicious meal! We ordered the boneless chicken breast and the kimchi rice. The crunchiest chicken ever! The rice was just mouthwatering. Extra tip: great great draft beers! Very friendly staff.

I went to Turntable Chicken Jazz for a birthday party. Overall all it was a fun time. Food was good, not great. The highlight was actually the lava lamp beer pitchers. They helped with the party theme. The biggest drawback was the air conditioning, which did not appear to be working. I was terribly hot in the restaurant.

First off the fried chicken here is amazing. It is the perfect amont of crispy and has a great flavor. We also shared several apps - all delicious. The vibe is pretty cool - great decor and obviously jazz. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area!

First, the name, adorable. I'd love to be here when someone was spinning some of the great records featured in the wall to wall library of vinyl decor. Cute concept. Alas, no live music that night I was there, but hip tunes nonetheless. Had a couple house special martinis while waiting from attentive and friendly barstaff. Lychee anything is always high on my list, but do order a beer for the table to enjoy the lighted concept dispensers. Seated at a rear little dungeon of a room that was cozy with benches and long communal tables. This is a fun eclectic menu with a little korean, a little mexican, a little country. It works. Do get the mexican elotes-style corn, the kimchee korean scallion pancake with its quesadilla crisp-edged appeal and lovely creamy flavorful middle, the half & half style wings with their amazing flavors and utterly crisp and crunchy well done skin, and pickled daikon on the side no matter what! You'll want to order enough to take home some midnight snacks. Plan ahead. Good fried fat-coated edamame with lots of savory spices, geesh, wasn't expecting to love that smoky yummy coating as much as I did. What a terrific experience that ended my last night in nyc. Enjoyed shots of icy cold smoooooth soju with our warm and friendly manager before leaving. So glad I tasted it. I will be seeking you out on my next trip!

What is not to love about this place? So New York. And Seoul. Very cool environment. Fun menu items. And the Hite Korean beer served in space-aged pitchers will be a life-long memory. I love this place - and yes it is totally hidden on the second floor of an office building with no signage - but you're in the right place.

The place caught our attention and we went in to eat. We ordered tuna tacos, hamburger, vegetable rolls and Turntable salad. All pretty good. Good music and original and picturesque place. Correct service and reasonable prices for the area.

Good: cool atmosphere, great crowd Bad: atmosphere is fake really as it is really a glorified asian restaurant. As in all the “fried chicken” has taste and texture of what you would get at an Americanized chinese restaurant. Lots of batter, little meat, tough and overcooked. “hot and spicy” is not Nashville style but weirdly Asian hot like at a buffet Ugly: takes FOREVER to get your food. A ridiculous amount of time actually.

Sat at a High top table, service was great. Enjoyed especially the Korean Chicken and tried a few appetizers first. Interesting and relaxing décor. Saw a Beer keg delivered to one table (steaming from dried ice). Looked like fun with a group.

I loved the ambiance. The place has old records and record players all over the walls. The music that they played was very nice, easy to hear but not too loud. We ordered a portion with soy and spicy chicken wings, which was delicious. Later on we moved to the bar, where we were helped by Lim and the cocktails were amazing!
Delicious chicken, noisy place!
We went here for a quick pre-show dinner. It was packed when we arrived, so we got a beer, waited about 10-15 mins, and were seated. they took our order as soon as we were ready and I think we were all done in a total of about 45 mins. The turnovers were delicious. the fried chicken can be either wings, drumsticks or boneless breasts. We had wings and drumsticks as I find that usually the breasts don't absorb as much of the flavors they are being cooked in. the wings and drumsticks were delicious, we got some with the soy-based sauce, some with the hot sauce. Both were great, and the hot was not so hot to wipe out other flavors. The french fries were crisp, but a bit oily and so not our favorite. Also, I like IPA beers, but they had none of that on tap, and only one in a bottle. Be prepared for noise. I think a table for two or four in the front room can work, but if I were 6 or 8, I would try for one of the booths at the back. Great food, fair price. Noisy.
