Great service and delicious food!! The plates came out quickly, the waiter was very heedful and the whole experience was very pleasant. I recommend it very much!

We had the porter house for 2. Came out on a sizzling platter pre cut and was amazing. The stuffed mushroom appetizer we highly recommend. Our server Gipa was so attentive and nice. We are coming back to NY in May and will definitely be heading to the Tuscany Steakhouse!

By far the best steak I have ever had. The service was good, sometimes a little over bearing. They try to accommodate the guests well but constant monitoring over the table can be annoying. The food was very good, ordered some sides too which were excellent but overall bill was $200+ for 2 people. Recommended place to eat if your not on a budget.

This smart, comfy, but unassuming steakhouse just behind Central Park maybe one of New York’s best kept secrets. As a solo diner walk - in on a Saturday night( not the most desirable customer) I was rewarded with a great table, outstanding service and delicious food. This place has a great atmosphere, thanks to the professional staff, and a lively mix of customers, from couples to family parties and groups of colleagues/ friends. Service was exceptional: attentive and efficient, without being in your face. Front of house were knowledgeable about the menu and able to advise on preferences etc. Pollo Tuscany was amazing, sides of steak fries and broccoli were lovely, as were the Tiramisu and Cab Sav( 172 on the wine list) . As a solo diner it’s refreshing to be valued as much as other customers: given a decent table, paid ( discreet) attention to and not expected to table turn asap. Coffee after dessert was no problem! Needless to say - I’ll be back!

I ate lunch with family. The portions are big and the lunch menu is very convenient. The place is very clean and the staff is very welcoming. The steak tasted delicious. The fruit platter was great too. Will go back soon.

This reminded me a bit of an old-school New York City steakhouse. Really great, well aged steaks served by an expert staff. Nice wine list, great veal Parm as well and great desserts.

My wife and I had a great time here in early September for dinner and dessert! Gipa our server was efficient, friendly and went out of his way to make us feel like we were at home. Awesome cocktails, starters and steaks, and the pasta was very good too! This is a real steakhouse, not like what ever some other places nearby that serve steaks purport to be. Go here if you are looking for a great steakhouse!

Food poisoning! My husband and I planned a day trip to NYC for diner and a show We had an appetizer of clams and Calamari and the entree was a porter house for 2 My husband didn't eat the clams he ate the calamari I ate the clams. We asked for steak medium. It came out rare as can be we didn't complain as we were trying to enjoy our night out for my birthday. We left to go to the show and about 2 hours later I felt stabbing pains in my stomach. So we left the show and headed home. When I got home I was in so much pain. Then the vomiting began I vomited over 60 times in 24 hours. The next day I went to the doctors and it was confirmed I had food poisoning, most likely from the clams as my husband didn't get sick. I was out of work for 3 days! Missed my birthday with kids and family. I let the restaurant know the situation and there response was we hope we don't loose you as a customer. I have never been so sick and still have stomach issues 6 days later. I'm so disgusted my holidays and birthday are a mess because they unfortunately served contaminated food I wasn't going to write a review but I'm just so upset that they had no remorse .that I had lost work and money and was so sick. Beware a lesson learned , I don't think I will ever eat seafood ever again

The staff was the most helpful and amazing. I reached with no reservation and they went out of their way to give us a table for 4. The food was yummy!!!

We were looking for a simple place to have a straight quick Italian dinner and the hotel recommended this place. What a bad idea! The average meal price is 70$! The service was a disaster. They clearly have no knowledge about the French etiquette and how to elegantly serve. We ordered still water, but instead of asking who wants water, they emptied the 12$ bottle into everyone’s glass (never suggesting tap water). They listed the suggestions but never the prices. We ordered 2 fishes and 1 starter. They asked about side dishes as if there was no side with the fish while there was. When we were done ragging, I had literally put my fork down since 10 seconds, they removed all the dishes. You don’t want dessert, ok there is your bill. 280$ for 40 minutes into the restaurant including 45$ for tips completely not deserved. We will never go back to this place

Perfect steak. We ordered porterhouse for 4. We also tried the Tuscany chicken and Tuscany salad and all were perfect. Sides also excellent. Service is friendly and professional, and the ambiance very good. Pricey as to be expected for a NY steakhouse, and appropriately priced. Definitely one of the best steakhouses in NYC.

Superb food excellent service and very attentive owner very good mix drinks well we start dinner with fr.calam.little breaded beautiful and burrata garnished and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil melted in your mouth then we order seafood pasta with ling.in red delicious sauce sup.and we order one of the best steak porterhouse tasty juice and flavorful I love this beautiful place I will go back again excellent.

I have found the best steakhouse in the US, maybe the world. Traveling for Thanksgiving & needed something amazing to take the place of our usual dinner. This was it! This may have been the best decision of our entire trip! The setting, the ambiance, the absolute politeness of EVERY person we came in contact with, and the Filet! Wow! Do yourself a favor & order the Filet!! This may be my top restaurant of all time, that’s saying a lot considering some of the places we have eaten. My husband & I joked that we may have to fly back to NYC just to eat here. Thank you Tuscany for an amazing Thanksgiving meal for my family.

Tuscany Steakhouse is a little gem, on 58th just a block south of Central park. Terrific meal, great ambience, smooth and friendly service. The room is fun and upbeat, but quiet enough to have a conversarion with your date or dinner companions. I had the lamb chops, my wife had the filet mignon. Both we're prepared exactly as we asked, and served with grace and style. We loved our evening here.

My best meal in New York! Hands down!!! This restaurant is a must visit for me every time I visit New York. The steak was superb! Sides (mac and cheese & creamed broccoli) was amazing, the dessert was absolutely delicious! The pictures I took does not do justice!!!

My family has been going every two to three months the past few years. Excellent services with amazing food and beverages. I usually like their tuna steak or Chilean sea bass or Tuna tartare, some salad and light dessert. My husband and our child love their porterhouse steak and creamed spinach, fries and heartier heavier desserts. Their wines are also always on more generous pours than most steakhouses around Central Park South!!

We had dinner here recently while staying at the JW Marriott Essex House and enjoyed it. We found it by walking by and decided to try for dinner. The place is oozy with great service and food. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend.

Not too fancy, but quiet and just around the corner from the underground food court at The Plaza, this steakhouse offers good food and quick service. We could have a conversation too!! No echo, few service interruptions. This criteria is often overlooked in reviews, but much of why we go to restaurants is to talk, and what good is that if you can’t hear???

Atmosphere just dark enough to feel intimate but still see the menu. As did everyone else we loved the food. Every dish was delicious. We each had a gimlet that was just right. And the service! Ronnie and the person working with him was professional and personable. Not cheap but worth it.

Our visit to the Tuscany Steakhouse was memorable in all aspects. From the time we were seated until the time we left all was perfect. The waiter and staff were all very knowledgeable and accommodating to our dinner requests. The burata appetizer was fantastic. The Steak, a bone in filet, was the most flavorful steak I have eaten in ages. Sides of broccoli and baked potato were prepared to perfection. The restaurant has a nice variety of wines. We will certainly eat at the Tuscany on our next visit to New York.

One of the best steak in my life. Friendly staff and hospitality. The previews are medium level, but food was amazing. Everything was excellent! Thanks!

An absolutely wonderful dining experience at Tuscany Steakhouse. We ordered the Seafood Tower & Baked Clams for the appetizer (all I can say is I dream of that seafood tower!) and then we let our host/waiter take the wheel with his dinner suggestions that consisted of a Tomahawk Steak, Porter House Steak, Broiled Lobster as main dishes all of which were served to our table by wonderful wait staff gliding around us like magical wizards bringing us the most delicious of dishes The Mac & cheese and Mashed Potato scrumptious ! Spinach , asparagus and the mushrooms were just perfect! We had one person who ordered the Salmon that was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful! We were gifted The deserts sampler and the apple strudel , cheese and Tiramisu was on point and no disappointment!

We were out walking the city and came across this restaurant. We were starving and decided to duck in for lunch. It was a beautifully appointed room with impeccably set tables and decor. In the evenings this would be an upscale restaurant that you would dress for, during the day casual attire is just fine. We had the place to ourselves as it was a little early. The staff was very professional but not stodgy. I ordered the beef and beet salad and my husband had the shrimp bisque which was the soup of the day. The presentation was excellent and I’ll swear it was among some of the best steak I’ve ever had. We will definitely look forward to visiting this restaurant again should we have the opportunity to visit NYC again. The service was perfect!

Bright side: Good location Beautiful place Dark side: The food was poisoned, all my family went to the bathroom after have diner there. The price is an absurd!! It’s non fair. The waiter suggested a dish with two different meets but it just came with one. The sides are too little. I definitely don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We reserved just half an hour before our arrival. We were greeted and brought to our table immediately. Service was super attentive and friendly throughout our visit. We had the porterhouse steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was amazing and grilled as ordered (medium-rare). We would definitely come back once we're again in New York.

Great service and loved the food. These are some of the best tasting steaks I’ve had! Loved that I didn’t have to go super dressed up to have a nice/fancy meal.

Thanks to Kevin at Essex House we got a reservation the day before Thanksgiving. We arrived and enjoyed a drink at the bar even though our table was ready. The Old Fashions were made perfectly. We arrived at a comfortable table for two. The service was friendly and enjoyable. We started with the special seafood salad. It was a wonderful mix with plenty of shellfish. We then enjoyed a perfectly cooked rare Florence style porterhouse. The spinach an enjoyable side.

It was such a pleasure to find this restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service and above all amazing food. I had the burrata special starter - it was creamy and really tasty served with arugula, portobello mushroom and balsamic - fantastic. I then had the filet mignon on the bone special which was so tender and possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. After the most appalling meal at the Redeye Grill two nights before, eating here was at the other end of the spectrum. Very professional and slick service too.

Service was personal and exceptional. Steve (owner) provided a warm welcome and made us feel welcomed. Thoughtful touches w wine selection which paired perfectly. No steaks for us but clams, linguine and everything else meant we will return

A nice cozy restaurant close to the Central Park. The entrance does not embrace you for what is about to happen, as it is quiet and down to earth. The decoration takes you to the Italian suburbs. Then came Jack, our waiter. I can recommend him and whatever he suggests. Excellent professional. Now for the most important part of my review, the food. Amazing taste, grilled precisely to the order and the side dishes were beyond excellent. The wine was perfect and nicely selected. If I could rate the night this was a strictly conservative 9 out of 10. The 1 point I would have to take for the entrance, however who cares about the entrance. The main issue here was the food and the service. This I would rate for its category 11 out of 10. They enjoy what they do and they show it.

We found this place through searching through the interwebby and booked it before leaving the UK. Booking was easy and the request to have the booking acknowledged by email was complied with and prompt. It was a risk as we had never eaten here before however the reviews were good and it’s in a part of town we like, so what was the risk? No risk. The only risk was my husband's eating habits. Tuscan = Italian = Cheese on everything as far as he is concerned. Cheese is a no-no. So, it’s good that we saw the menu on line before we booked and worked out that he could eat most things. We were not disappointed! A word of warning is that the portions are BIG. We were not aware of this however our waiter quite diplomatically pointed out that our order of sides would probably have fed most of the state of New York. Well he didn't actually say anything, the look in his eyes prompted us to say "is that a lot of food?". Well yes it was. So, we reduced our order and still had plenty to spare at the end. I had the Tuscan salad to start and my husband had the jumbo shrimp cocktail. A good start as they were relatively light and left room for the main event. We ordered a bottle of prosecco to wash it down with. As this is a steakhouse, our mains had to be steak. On both of us ordering sirloin, our waiter suggested that a Porterhouse may be a better option as it’s a better steak and broadly similar in price. We took the advice and were pleased with the swap. Sides were chips (fries), steamed vegetables and mushrooms. The steak was cooked how we like it - a novelty was that half the steak was cooked medium for me and medium rare for my husband. The steak was so big we only ate half of it and took the rest back to eat with a salad the next day. Needless to say, there was no room for dessert. At £288 this was the most expensive meal we have ever eaten; we knew this would be the case before booking as the menu is on line. Having said that, it was little less than my husband expected. Mainly due to exchange rate and underestimation of the tax and “tips” part of the bill. It seems to be a US thing where the basic price is inflated by federal tax, state tax, tip for the chef, tip for the chef’s mum, tip for the taxi driver who brings the chef to work, blah! Blah! Blah! He normally adds about 30% to cover this lot. In summary, we wouldn’t do this every day however when we are back in New York we will be popping in again.

I visited here with my boyfriend and we each had a sirloin steak. The portions were large and we both said that hands down it was the best steak we’d ever had. The Mac n cheese was also delicious. Less fussed about the chips!

Worth the time and money. In short the waitor knew it all was pleasant and the food was awesome. Highly recommend

I was there with my family last night as always walking no reservation. Dry aging steaks you get here at Tuscany Steakhouse you get to choose the inherently most flavorful steaks, which are always those on the bone, like rib eyes and porterhouse/T-bones, without forgetting a surf-turf. For appetizers we had tuna tartar, eggplant rrolletini with special request and seafood tower taste was fresh and delicious. For main course we had T-bone porterhouse for three with side of generous hash-browns and mac-cheese and creamed spinach. Chef Eddy is really expert for steaks. We really feeling family after many times at Tuscany. Staff is really professional and very responsive with attention to details. Thank you Tuscany for make my family feel home each time we are there...

Tuscany had one of the best Porterhouse steaks around. Cooked to perfection - The outside had a bit of crispness but so tender to eat. Enjoyed the jumbo lump crab meat cocktail - It was meaty and clean. Also had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the sizzling bacon. Nice ambience. Service was great - attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Best steak I’ve had in a very long time. Staff were amazing a very attentive. One member of our party had a special birthday, the staff were polite and courteous and paid special attention to the birthday guest. 100% recommend to go to Tuscany steakhouse

This is a quite unique place with few contradictory elements. We wanted steaks and pasta and thought it was the perfect option. Nevertheless there are few options of each one. Once we chose the steaks we ordered the mac and cheese with lobster, and everything was delicious. Lamb chops also were outstanding. So the quality of the food was excellent all along the way. Very compliant wine list with excellent options. What we did not like was the service. Very mediocre and sloppy. Old rude waiters coupled with young inexperienced. Restrooms were tiny and not well cleaned.

Visited Tuscany Steakhouse with my partner for a place to eat whilst staying in New York. From the minute of walking in -to leaving the service was by far the best I received throughout my whole stay in New York. The food was also the most enjoyable. My fillet mignon was so perfectly cooked, their Pecan pie was equally delicious. Definitely a must go if you are ever in New York.

I went here with my wife and brother and sister in law for dinner before seeing Hamilton. I ordered the surf and turf which was excellent. My wife had the grilled salmon which she said was just ok. The sides were decent. It was empty at 530 when we got there but starting to fill up at 700 when we left. Overall it was very good and I would recommend.

Beautiful decor, good food, very very expensive (over-priced, in my opinion). We were a family of four and we ordered: - 3 appetizers of soup, fresh oysters and baked clams - the Porterhouse steak for 2 (amazing, melt in your mouth steak) - 1 grilled seabass (was okay, nothing special) - 1 chicken parmesan (again, okay) - 3 bottles of American beer - 4 sides of creamed spinach, mac & cheese, steak fries and sauteed mushrooms - 2 bottles of mineral water Portions are large. With tax included, our bill came to just under $450.00. We were surprised by the bill and had not planned or expected to pay this much. Having said that, my husband and son really wanted a 'decent' steak in NY and after much research, we realised that all the best steakhouses in the area we were staying in, were around the same price. I would recommend this restaurant for the food; not for value for money. Would I return? No. Not unless someone else was paying :)

The newly opened, but old, steak house kept the best dishes and best waiters from the old regime. Unfortunately the century old pianist has died, but otherwise, it is a wonderful experience of relaxed dining.

Went for a business dinner--wine selection awesome, steak was incredible, dessert was good too. Old school atmosphere, old school attentive waitstaff. Good experience and food all around.

What can I say...the food was so delicious and so was the wine. We had the porterhouse, calamari, baked clams, and salad. The staff was incredible. We seen a star or two which we did not expect, so that was an extra bonus. The vibe was on point.

I ordered the porterhouse & it was sensational. The service is good and the restaurant is located in a quint spot on W57th St.

Hadn't been to Tuscany in many months. Returned and had an excellent ribeye. Very good service. Sides were very good and huge

Had a wonderful dinner with my entire family a few nights ago. I enjoyed a Bone - in Rib Eye Steak -medium rare, and was extremely happy with the way it came out. The outside was charred beautifully and the inside was just the way I like it. The ambiance of the restaurant is really warm and inviting, modern and classic at the same time. Overall great experience, good location, great food. Will definitely be back soon!

Food, service and atmosphere at its best!Relaxed and excellent. Really recommended for a nice slice of meat.

Group of 4 stopped by for a late lunch. One New Yorker (me) and 3 out of town steak fans. We did not want a big meal so two of us shared a rib eye with salads. Another had a filet mignon and the last some calamari and soup. Steak was perfectly done and one of the best I have had recently! We shared the massive portion of calamari, Bene! The servers were top notch and presented everything beautifully. They treated us like we having a major 4 course meal. Classic service. Simply put, every aspect of the meal was excellent! We will be back!

We we’re staying at NYAC and wanted something close. This place was highly rated so we decided to give it a try. We first started with martinis at the bar, and then about 30 minutes later, we were seated at our table. We selected two entrees: shrimp scampi with sautéed spinach, and then a prime aged porterhouse. Both were exquisitely prepared and were delicious! The steak was just as good as I’ve had over 40+ years of dining at many NYC steakhouses. The service was outstanding as well. We would definitely return here.

Started with a bowl of mushroom bisque that was rich and creamy and the truffle oil garnish outstanding. My entree was chicken Parm with Linguini and it was no ordinary Parm. The chicken was so tender and the breading was so light that the sauce became it’s crowning glory. Cocktails at the bar were delicious and served by a friendly and knowledgeable bartender. We felt welcomed and appreciated our entire meal.

This is our second time to this restaurant. Really like the steaks - done perfectly as requested - and the service is outstanding. Great little restaurant to take the love of your life to celebrate an event - impressive.

If you are looking for great service with great food don’t look at anything else. Waiters are excellent the steak and salmon cooked perfectly a little on the pricey side but I think it was worth it Recommended

The food and service were outstanding. Even though I was on my own, the servers took great care of me. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We were a party of 4 all in our 20’s which usually means that we will be looked down upon by the staff but that was certainly not the case. Our server, Ben was friendly, attentive, and professional. The support staff (bringing water and carrying food) were also polite, attentive, and professional. We had the opportunity to talk with the owner and he was wonderful. I had the ribeye special and it was huge and the best steak I have had in my life. Two of the others had the Porterhouse for 2 and loved it. My wife had the pollo Parmesan and also said it was great. We were full after dinner but couldn’t resist dessert. The creme brûlée and tiramisu were both amazing. By far an unbeatable experience. If you have the chance to dine at Tuscany Steakhouse, you won’t be disappointed.

The food was tremendous and the wait staff was great it’s a quiet queen little restaurant in New York City right in the Manhattan borrow it is not so busy that you can’t hear your partner or spouse or date the food is relatively expensive but quality that you get for the price that you pay is really good the steak cuts like butter the size are all Lockhart so you can share them the mac & cheese lobster was really good. I would definitely recommend going to this place anytime anywhere but again to re-iterate make sure you are ready to spend at least $100 if you are going with Someone else. But know that everything there is absolutely worth it and I would do it again.

Our first visit to Tuscany Steakhouse will also be our last, due to a very sour experience at the end of an otherwise perfect evening. We were celebrating a significant birthday for a family member and even though we were racking up the expenses, we felt it was definitely worth it to be coddled so splendidly. We wanted this to be a memorable evening. And we thoroughly enjoyed treating her to a special meal at what we thought was a special place. And the end of the meal the house sent over small shot glasses of prosecco as a gesture honoring her. Or, we THOUGHT it was a gesture until we received the check.... There it was - four TINY shot glasses of prosecco WE DIDN'T ORDER charged for $32. We were horribly offended. Not about the money - that didn't amount to much on a bill that was well over $600 (!) but because we didn't order them, thought the little glasses were a gesture from the restaurant, and then they had the nerve to charge us. We didn't raise a fuss because we didn't want to spoil her evening, but we were really turned off by this mercenary and completely inappropriate action on the restaurant's part. It spoiled our entire experience there, which had been just great until then. It's safe to say we will NEVER go there again and we will advise our family, friends, neighbors and out-of-town guests to go elsewhere as well.

Tuscany is such a great steakhouse! The food and service are excellent. We were seated and served quickly and the ribeye was delicious. The staff is very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Such a wonderful experience! We will be back again soon.

We visited many restaurants in New York most of them where packed and very noisy. This restaurant is simply great the ambiance very chick and food was tasty all dishes specially the Dover sole . Its a steak hose but they have also options a of see food and fish.and you will not find a service like they have in all New York. You most have diner or lunch there you will be more than satisfied. We will return no doubt.

I came here with my family on Christmas Day and I have to say this was hands down the worst service I have ever received. I understand the kitchen was closing soon, that said if they couldn’t properly serve us they should have at least said so instead of taking our money and rushing us out. The server had the audacity to include a 20% gratuity for mediocre service. We typically provide 22%-25% gratuity for great to excellent service. I was truly appalled that this establishment thinks treating people this way is acceptable. In fact I find the “high ratings” on yelp are deceptive considering that serval ppl have complained about the service. We will never go again.

Tuscany provided an old school New York steakhouse experience. The staff is exceptional and willing to accommodate all needs. The meal was cooked to perfection- we had the filet, macaroni and cheese, tomato and mozzarella salad and bacon appetizer. All items were delicious. The wine menu provide many options as well. A great meal.

Our family had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Tuscany Steakhouse. We had reservations somewhere else but restaurant closed due to Covid spike. Our concierge at the Park Lane suggested We had drinks at bar first and party of 7 was seated early. We had family style porterhouse, ribeye and veal Parmesan. All were very good. Servers were awesome and had 2-3 people taking care of us. Would highly recommend

All we wanted was a cocktail and a small appetizer. We explained to the waiter that we did not want a full meal. We were treated with respect and served with a smile. My husband got a rare scotch from the full bar and I tried a cocktail. He had the crab cake and raved about it and I had the Tuscany salad. Excellent! We will come back again when our appetites can make the most of the meal. Expensive - but you get what you pay for.

5 stars!!!! Would give it 10 if I could. The decor is beautiful and elegant. Perfect for business meeting, family dinner, or even just a simple drink with a friend. The staff is great and courteous. The bar tenders B and Tony were just so sweet as well as the owner Steve. The food was AMAZINGGG. the steak so juicy and tender the desert to die for. Will definitely be coming back.

The food was very good service was excellent they have private rooms beautiful wine list and the steak was to die for one of the best steaks I ever had it’s a beautiful place

My husband and I came here for our Anniversary. I had the Chilean sea bass and he had the filet mignon both were delicious. I woulc highly recommend this restaurant.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is simply magnificent and so are the staff. I heartily recommend it for anyone who wants to relax in an environment of wonderful food, served by friendly, knowledgable, and attentive staff. Thank you.

Enjoyed it very much. Apps were salad and lobster bisque, both very good. Entrees Seared Tuna and Bone in Rib both excellent. Had to take home food , large portions. Sides - creamed Spinach - terrific, not creamy (how we like it) Home fries excellent too and grilled asparagus. The wait staff was really great, accommodating and attentive. We wanted to try a white zinfandel, they kept bringing tastes until we found what we liked best. Will definitely return here

First time visit in this steakhouse. Main room is nice and relatively quiet making it a good place for business dinner. Table was unfortunately pretty small making it a bit uncomfortable with large plate brought. Service was good, and the steakhouse portions definitively too large. Less than half of the quantity served could be eaten. Good choice of wine with pretty affordable good French wine.

My wife, daughter and I stumbled across this place while out walking near our hotel. Turned out to be a fantastic Steakhouse. Ordered Filet was perfect! My wife ordered Veal and loved it daughter ordered filet as well. When the food came to the table there were 5 (yes five) waiters getting it to our table. Service way beyond expectations. My glass never got to half full, waiter was always there to top me up. Portions very generous. Value great.

Monday dinner date night was quite enjoyable. Shrimp bisque was good, but the bone-in filet we shared was great. Service was very attentive and friendly. Thanks for a great night!

Love this place! I’ve been here often, but came for a dinner with three co workers and it is an amazing spot for a business lunch/dinner. We had all the works, delicious steak with sides like mashed potatoes, fries, broccoli, cream of spinach! Everything was so good but my favorite was definitely the seafood tower! I love this steakhouse especially because I can have one of their steaks, but also can have a seafood pasta, veal parm, and more Italian dishes as well. Love it here and will most definitely come back!

Met every expectation. Shrimp bisque was very good. Sea bass was light savoury and delicious. Our drinks were prepared exquisitely. My daughters steak was so tender she could slice it in one cut. The staff was great. Very attentive.

Wonderful place, great staff and absolutely delicious food. Had a great time with my friend, we will definitely come back!

First night in New York, not really got are bearing, this restaurant was very close to our hotel just walked in with no booking, warm welcome and very helpful staff, the food was excellent, biggest shrimp cocktail I have ever seen and the best, steaks we had were also first class, highly recommended this restaurant,

This was a fabulous restaurant, from the fish, to the beef and many items in between. The wait staff was fantastic and very attentive and always with a smile.

Loved the choices. Great service. Food was amazing. Thank you for looking after us when we just arrived after 27 hours travel.

I had an excellent version of Chicken Parmesan at lunch today and, to me, food quality is essential for a good rating. The wine list is solid, but I didn’t see any bargains. The decor is dark and unexceptional. Another issue I could see, at least at lunchtime, is that it is scarily quiet. It is also dark and has a small unenviable view onto 58th.

Our hotel concierge sent us over for dinner, after seeing Hamilton at the matinee. We were pleasantly delighted. Great wait staff, who knew how to pace the meal, beautiful wine list, intimate dining-we could hear each other talk !! The buffalo mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and onions was the best we have had in a very long time. The tomatoes tasted freshly picked, and more than enough to serve two. Their bread was fresh and delicious, almost too good. We passed on their steaks ( which looked wonderful) and settled on the Tuscany chicken ( superb), and my husband had a pasta dish ( with freshly made pasta). We were sorry we had no place to take our leftovers too! We made room for the Lemom Italian sorbet. Again, more than enough for two and a perfect treat to end a delicious meal. If ever back in NYC, we will return to Tuscany.

I took clients here for a business dinner recently. everyone was impressed by the food and the service. Our waiters were attentive and helpful. The food was first rate. It was expensive, of course. there are a lot of great steak houses in NYC, this is as good as any I've been to and better than most.

This place is IT! The people were nice, the food was incredible. In our 8 days visit to NYC we’ve seen quite a few places, and this place was far better than anything we’ve visited! It’s a little bit pricey but the food and wine is certainly worth every penny. Simply THUMBS UP!

Me and my wife had dinner there and it was AMAZING!!! Everything you want in fine dining. The service was outstanding and the our rib eye steaks were the best we have ever had. Not to mention the decor. We loved it all and will go back when we come back to New York.

This comfortable, quiet and accommodating restaurant came at the recommendation of the Conrad Midtown hotel....and we were not disappointed. While the pricing is inflated by most of the world standards, all of the menu seemed pretty much in line with NYC upscale eateries. The staff was interactive, informative, educated with the menu selections and offered just the right amount of humor to personalize our evening. My wife throughly enjoyed the veal chop while I selected the Dover Sole special. The fish dinner was presented to the table for viewing and once I approved, they offered to take it back to the kitchen to debone the dinner. The dinners were then both brought out together for our dining pleasure. Semi soft background music of old classics was greatly joyed even though you might not think of it in a steakhouse that serves Italian as well. Decor was tasteful. Definitely a keeper.

We had the Portershouse for 2. One of the best steaks I have had. The rest of our party had seafood. Also outstanding. Service was great. Can't go wrong with this one.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel,Essex House Central Park South. The ambience was that of most steakhouses. The service was good. We had the NY strip, and although it was choice not prime it was aged, and very good. Potatoes were great.

A friend brought us here and we are now hooked. Best steak in town. We especially appreciate the fantastic service; Agron is a gem.

Beautiful restaurant! Comfy and cozy. The porterhouse steak was delicious but really? Should it cost that much? My biggest beef is how they serve a little bottle of seltzer instead of getting it from the bar… not classy! Or at least pour the bottle into the glass and serve it. No one should see that little plastic, I got it at the deli on the corner, bottle in such an ‘upscale’ restaurant.

I know a good steakhouse and this place is great! The service is friendly with helpful recommendations. The steaks are cooked to order and delicious. I highly recommend people give this steakhouse a try!

To begin with: At the entry you are being welcomed by a wonderful kind lady which will take your coats and seat you to your table. The restaurant is very Cousy, beautiful and clean! The food ? AMAZING! We tried many of the “fancy” restaurants but this one was by far the best ! Yes it costs but quality has its worth ! And it’s definitely worth every dollar! And ist not overpriced at all! The staff is very friendly ! If you have any question about the menu they will kindely explain everything ! We’ve had 2 amazing evenings at the Tuscany Steakhouse and will definitely come back here on our next trip to NY! I can only recommend this place!!! We loved it !

Every time my family and I come there, the food and service has been great. We will continue to return.

Everything here is perfect, from the apps to the sides to the main event - the steak! My favorites: baked clams oreganata, tuna tartare, fried mozzarella (off menu), eggplant parm (off menu), veal park, cajun porterhouse (off menu), tomahawk rib eye (off menu), surf & turf (off menu), hash browns, creamed spinach, creme brûlée and chocolate mousse cake!

Wow!! The food was beyond delicious!! The service was awesome considering it’s New York City!! I highly recommend this place. My boyfriend jokingly stated he wanted a bow tie and they gave him one free of charge. Believe me, if you want to be pampered with great service at a reasonable price, this is the place to be. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding anniversary, birthday or just want to treat yourself to something special, this is the place to be!!

Called in on our last day on New York on our way back from Central Park. We ordered Sirloin, Ribeye and Salmon all of the dishes we cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and so was the food.

Quality food, nice quiet setting, extremely good service. Some italian dishes but mainly steak. Very good sides

We are new to the neighborhood, and I had been looking for a non-chain, old-style steakhouse where the priorities were service and food rather than branding. Tuscany was spot-on. Nice wine list at expected markup, but not overwhelming. Excellent service who didn’t flinch when we put several items together to share. The filet mignon was absolutely the most tender I have ever had, and we are talking about 50+ years... Even the hash browns were excellent (chunky yet crispy with that great onion and butter flavor). We had the Cakebread Merlot, which paired well and was reasonable. Our service was truly perfect - attentive without being overbearing, and with a special treat which I was craving, but didn’t ask for... Thank you Tuscany Steakhouse for weathering the storm and still delivering excellence. We will return soon.

There's an old saying, 'There is no place like home,' and while I'm still searching for that home-away-from-home in my new neighborhood, my recent experience at Tuscany Steakhouse sadly informed me that my search continues. My wife and I moved here in the summer, and our doorman recommended this place one night. The initial visit was promising - good food, great wines, and a welcoming atmosphere. I liked it enough to return a few times, even bringing friends and colleagues along. Tonight, however, cast a shadow on what I thought could be a regular spot for me. I made a reservation through OpenTable for a table for one, which was an option offered online. Upon arrival, I was informed that they would not honor my reservation for a single diner - a perplexing and frankly disappointing stance. It's a missed opportunity for them. What could have been a place of regular patronage for me now becomes a place I'm inclined to avoid. I guess my search for a local haunt continues. After all, there truly is 'no place like home.'"

This restaurant does not cut corners. It was hard to find a bad flow from start to finish. Ambiance Great Food Great Service Great Great Job

Tuscany Steakhouse, is a new restaurant near Carnegie Hall. They took over the space of an existing restaurant and completely renovated the space. Now they have excellent service, a beautiful interior, and most importantly, great food. I think their Veal Chop Parmesan (its a Tomahawk chop), is the best I've had in NYC. And it is huge! I have now been to Tuscany Steakhouse 5 times, and from a 2 person dinner to an 18 person event, they have been consistently top notch. AND they get bonus points for having high end wine glasses.

My fiance got us a table here as a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was very intimate and cozy. The service was impeccable. They even got a cake for me with a candle. The steak was excellent. The side dishes are large so order accordingly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special experience.

I put this on a special list called 'feels like the place you are looking for'. It is real, not from a design catalog. You can have good conversation with caring staff. And anything you order, relax, it will be exactly what you want. The real deal

I’ve been to several steak houses across the country and Tuscany takes the prize. I would recommend 10x over. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Already looking forward to my next visit. EXCELLENT!

This visit and review is strictly by accident! My wife and I had just rented bicycles two doors up from the restaurant and were riding directly in front when she had a bad spill. Bruised and sore we went into the Restaurant looking to sit down. Ron, one of the servers immediately came to my wife’s aid. Helpful and courteous he brought her ice to apply to her leg. I ordered two glasses of a very nice Pinot Noir while we decided whether to go to the ER (which we did). Ron was more than accommodating. We’re from out of town and visit the Big Apple at least twice a year. We are always impressed with the great attitude of people who live and work here, and Ron exemplified this. Thank you so much, Ron. When we return we will make the Tuscany a regular place to visit and bring friends.

We stopped by for a quick bite and a couple of glasses of wine, we have tried quite a few delicious appetizers and some wine. We are looking forward to our next visit so we can try more of their fresh and delicious menu choices. We had an amazing dining experience, beautiful ambiance with elegant dining room and lively bar area and excellent service.
Not worth it
I never write bad reviews, this is a first. Very good service, very mediocre otherwise, no need to go back
