Phenomenal food (duck tower, lobster roll, prawn pad tai, pistachio soufflé) with attentive and courteous service. Carmella was our server and was knowledgeable about all the menu items. Must make a reservation as the restaurant gets booked up early. Although crowded noise level was tolerable.

What a find. Menu is mouth watering. But we were sensible and just ordered the signature duck dish. We then decided to try the lemon soufflé Unbelievably good. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. You could be seeing us frequently !!

The food was excellent starting yellowfin tuna , chicken satay and the main dish was Dover Sole and coconut rice.. amazing Service good !! Our reservation was running late so they offered a glass of prosecco!! It was a very cute!

Nice place, with good cocktails. The duck is delicious, which comes in a different level source. Very good fish, all oriental type. It's expensive, but it's worth it. It's inside Columbus Circle Mall

I saw a tiktok about this place and its feast menu for 2. It looked too good to be true but I decided to risk it. I called to make a res and also ask about substituting for any shrimp dish. I would not have been surprised if no substitutions were allowed but the hostess cheerfully advised that they do allow subs. Great! Made the res. We were seated fairly promptly following our arrival. The view over Columbus Circle was beautiful and the restaurant itself is beautifully appointed, def good for a date night. Our wonderful waitress, Denisa from Albania, was like the hostess of a party where we were the honored guests. We ordered the feast menu for 2 and also ordered 2 souffles. We had: Tableside-prepared papaya salad; Appetizer platter: crab salad puffs, sashimi, lobster spring rolls, chicken satay and pork rolls; Mains: marinated steak, red curry sea bass, spicy chicken hash, sticky rice served in bamboo, wilted pea shoots; Desserts: mango sticky rice, ube creme caramel and our two souffles (we had chocolate w mocha glaze and pistachio w pandan glaze). There was not a bad dish. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. We enjoyed the flavorful cocktails, beautiful darkish setting and Denisa's great service, as well. The people at the tables on each side of us were return customers, which says a lot. What a great night. We will definitely return. Strongly recommend.

I really wanted to love this place. The food is excellent, with thoughtful flavors and beautiful presentation. The venue is also visually striking and creates a memorable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The service, however, was a real disappointment. For the price point, I expected attentive and polished service, but it felt surprisingly ordinary. We had to repeatedly ask for water, drinks from the bar took a long time to arrive, and several requests were never followed up on. None of this was dramatic on its own, but together it created a sense that the service was not keeping pace with the quality of the food or the experience the restaurant is aiming to deliver. It ended up being a very expensive meal with service that did not match the rest of the evening. The potential is absolutely here, and I hope the service improves so the overall experience can reach the level that the kitchen and venue are already delivering.

As a fan of Bad Roman, I was very excited to try Twin Tails, and it certainly lived up to the hype. We went later on a Friday night, and were first seated in the bar area (which was very swanky) as we waited for our table to be ready. Fortunately we got a seat by the window so had nice nighttime views of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Everything here was really good. Sadly the duck tower was sold out by the time we sat down, but we were huge fans of the whole sashimi dorade. That’s a must-order in my book. Also really liked the summer rolls. The uni buns were yummy but overpriced in my opinion, given how small they were. I also really liked the sticky rice.

If you are looking for 10/10 food and genuinely the best service at a restaurant than visit twin tails. We went the first night of our trip and was so impressed we booked to come back two nights later. The food was fresh and delicious. But more impressive was the service. Denisa and Carmella were a dream! From making sure the food came out in a short time period when we were in a rush to giving the best recommendations, there was nothing more we could have asked for! We pray you are will be there when we come back next year! This truly is our new top restaurant.

I purchased 2 window seats at Twin Tales for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Within a few weeks I was informed the venue had been moved to a better location. When we arrived we were informed that we had a really good table by the window on the 5th floor instead of the 3rd. I really couldn’t believe that in reality we were in the back of the room with 6 other people instead of just 1. I purchased a table for 3 not 8. When we confronted them they just said that there wasn’t anything they could do. It really didn’t matter what table you were at you couldn’t see the parade at all. The food was cold but at least they had bacon. This was probably the biggest ripoff I’ve seen a long time. My wife literally sat at the window on the ledge so she could see the parade. She loved the parade however for $1500 it would have been nice to get what we paid for.
Expensive but worth it.
Very expensive, but that's to be expected from a brand new, lavishly appointed property in the Time Warner building, one floor below Per Se. From the same group that owns Bad Roman on the other side of the same building, as well as other upscale restaurants in town. Bring a few people, order a variety of dishes, and share them. The "not to be missed" dishes in our dinner were the Peking duck tower and the crispy spring rolls, but everything was delicious. Best desserts were the chocolate soufflé and the rainbow sherbet cake, which is basically a layered ice cream cake that's made, as you might guess, with several flavors of sherbet. Service was very good. Not particularly loud. Child and vegetarian friendly. Reservations are a must; we came early on a Thursday evening and the place was packed.
