Nice little restaurant in Korea Town. Fresh udon with different broth flavors was excellent. Our family of five tried five different types. All were excellent. The Octopus Ball appetizer was also a hit. The place can be crowded, so plan ahead. Give it a try.

Experiment on me any day! Korean Spicy Udon was delightful and soothing! Well done Udon Labs! And the service was optimal!

Great vegetarian udon. Loved the sausage and fried peppers. Service was very good. Pleasant vibe with primarily young clientele.

Upon entering the service was quite quick, there is variety of cold or hot udon. We attended a large group, most ordered the udon kimchi and it is delicious, just a little spicy, but with the creaminess of the broth it does super well the taste. I really highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and the prices affordable. Rice (I don't remember the name of the dish) that comes with egg and meat is also very rich. It's easy to get to in the metro, because right on the corner there are two exits.

Normally a bit chauvinistic about the superiority of ramen in Los Angeles, I have to admit that this kitchen has perfectly mastered the noodle bite and offers a pretty traditional assortment of broths, all of excellent quality. Given its location in midtown Manhattan, prices are quite reasonable. Try the creamy Mentaiko ramen—if you like the Japanese cod roe spaghetti, you’re gonna dig this.

Customer service was really great! The staff was kind, and were able to fit my large party without much wait time. The food was excellent as well, would definitely recommend and would go again!

Nice looking place but the udons were distinctly average. Flavour of the broth was actually OK, but the beef was incredibly cheap, fatty, grey, and somewhat inedible. Starters were odd with the "Japanese sausage" essentially a German sausage on cabbage! Also they still have the covid "booths" (plastic dividers between tables). Those need to go ASAP as they ruin the ambience and aren't doing anything useful. Maybe OK if everywhere else is busy but personally wouldn't recommend or return.

Found this spot unexpectedly on our search for dinner. Had something to please all 5 of us. Spicy udon, tofu salad, sushi, even the youngest had the sausage and rice and was in heaven. Great flavors. My son and husband thought udon portions were a little small for cost, but were super happy with the tastes.

Was staying at a nearby hotel and went here without knowing what to expect — the noodles were fantastic!!

My daughter and I went to Koreatown after a K-Pop concert the previous evening. We wanted to get a quick lunch and discovered Udon Lab just as it was about to open for lunch. The service was great and the environment cozy. We enjoyed some dumplings along with the House Udon - with my daughter's favorite K-Pop group playing in the background (the waiter had noticed her concert sweatshirt). The Udon was simply amazing - so good! If you are in Koreatown - Udon Lab is worth a visit!

Very good udon with middling service. We loved the brussel sprouts and the udon (very chewy). Service was inattentive and dismissive.

This is a lovely place providing unexpectedly joyous treats for the discerning palate. Service was excellent. The dishes were well presented and the taste was delicate and perfect in every way. Salmon and avocado sushi was an amazing introduction to someone unaccustomed to the delightful Japanese fare offered in this extraordinary restaurant. All washed down with sips of hot sake to complete the delicious, delightful, discerning culinary extravaganza!

We were very well received, the Korean meal was excellent, we had a great evening. Really restaurant to discover if you go around.

Nice and well-kept place. Unlike many places in NY, we didn't have to queue to enter. We also got the impression of being in the right place from the presence of numerous people of Asian origin at dinner. Very good ramen, served in a rich and tasty broth. Excellent grilled pork ravioli (the best I've ever eaten). Absolutely worth a visit

Extensive menu with unique flavors and textures to add to your noodles. Hand rolls and sashimi were very good also. Lon a Saturday night, it was a bit of a wait to get a table, and they seemed pretty frazzled with the volume, but the staff were friendly and service was great!

My wife loves udon after spending a large chunk of time in Japan. Udon Lab did not disappoint. We had a very good meal and the service was also very attentive. We would gladly return next time we visit NYC.

Staying in Koreatown, we decide to enter this place downstairs, tired from a long day spent walking. Honestly, it was our luck to choose a hotel next to this venue! Their udon has a really satisfying texture and the soups are delicious overall. The price isn't even too high, considering NYC prices. Advised.

Amazing food. Our lovely hotel, the Hotel Stanford, gave us a discount for the local restaurant, and it was right next door with excellent reviews. Who am I to say no to that?! Best decision ever. I ordered the Niku Udon with chicken. The broth was flavorful and the whole combination as so good. My husband is a curry fan so he ordered the Beef Curry Udon. He probably should have gotten it a little warmer than low medium as he added more spice. Better to add. He ate all of it with enthusiasm. The service was great. We didn't have a reservation - which I would recommend - yet they got us in as soon as possible. At this point, the discount was a major bonus because everything was excellent.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Very welcome, a waiter made the effort to try French. Fast and pleasant service. Cozy and warm decor in a very lively Korean neighborhood. As for the meals, we went back twice, it was a discovery for us and a treat. Very very good and hearty dishes. The bill was more than right, $70 for you, very good value Award.
