Really enjoyed this place, the service was pretty good and the food was even better. We got the pizza pie in the small which was plenty to share between two since it’s so thick. The Parma pasta was amazing and would come back just to eat that again.

We love Chicago Deep Dish. And we found this restaurant by accident. Our experience was a blast. My kids loved and me and my wife were over satisfied with the food service and location. There is a couple bad reviews. But in our experience was not the case. Accurate service, friendly staff clean location, bathroom very clean. Atmosphere was great. Highly recommend. We are from southwest California and we totally recommend.

One of the restaurant We preferred till now. Very tasty and sympathic waitress. Just there was notre enough tables and We were 6 on a four table.

My bestie & I stopped by Unos for Happy Hour & Appetizers before our movie. Smachos Nachos, Wings , Margaritas & Beer! Everything was yummy! Sit at the bar, the bartender definately makes you feel well attended too! Fun environment! Say Hi to Jeff (manager)

The dough bites and dips are excellent, the nachos with guacamole and salsa are excellent, the ribs are excellent, in fact everything we've had have been really delicious. The pitcher of bud is so much cheaper than buying by the glass. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Would recommend for all appetites but bring a big one as food plentiful.

Great for a family meal with dietary requirements. 5 yr old loved building her own pizza and I was happy with a fantastic gluten free burger! Service wasn’t amazing but a good experience overall.

Went with my family for the first time before going to the natural history museum in ny. Service was a nightmare. A friend had recommended and I thought I'd give it a try, but I think I get a better service at McDonald's. At least I'm getting what I'm paying for. Had to beg for someone to come to my table. After the food arrived they didn't have any cutlery. Our food arrived separately. By the time I was halfway through my meal, my son's food still hadn't arrive. Anyway, only if you don't have anything or anywhere better to eat, try to avoid it.

We had a day in central park & needed food! We came across Uno Chicago Grill. The pizza was excellent. The service was excellent. Very amiable serving staff. Made us relaxed straight away. One small criticism. There is a small portable touch screen on the table which you can use to order & pay through, if you should choose to. It also has a simple game on it. While we waited for the food it was natural to play with it. We were then billed $1.99 for the pleasure of playing the game, which crashed incidentally!!!! When we queried it on the bill they said it states it on the machine there is a $1.99 charge. We didnt see this but it is correct, but??????? Dont let this put you off though, its a very minor point. The place, the food, the people are great. Highly recommend it!

My family attended this place twice based on its close proximity to our hotel. Both times we enjoyed the food but found the service a bit lacking and the place very noisy. We liked the deep dish pizza the best then the burgers. The service would bring drinks, take your order, then vanish until your food came quite a bit later. This is one where I wish Trip Advisor had 4.5 stars. ;)

Came here with my 2 girls after visiting the museum. They both loved their food as did I. It was Good Friday about 6:00. Service was quick and friendy, price was good too.

I stopped for lunch at UNOPizzeria and Grill today. The restaurant is very large with a very strong decor based on Chicago pictures and artifacts. Service was very prompt, very friendly and very helpful. i tried the mac & cheese and wings combo meal –- 1110 calories -- with a small salad. The wings were good but needed more spice, and the mac & cheese was as good as I can remember from my Midwestern days. The Caesar salad was fresh and very good.

For mediocre food and poor service this place is tops! It is only because of it’s proximity to the museum that we chose it. Better to walk a little further and have a better dining experience. Our waiter was downright rude!

The kids love to make their own pizzas and the mac &cheese here. The service however was slow, kids were hungry but were kept waiting almost 30 min (on a Tuesday). But I do love their deep dish, chef's choice pick your own 3 ingredients is a great option.

This is a good cheap eat near the natural history museum. The service here was not over the top, though our waiter was friendly and helpful when discussing New York. We could tell some of the other staff were not like that though. As far as Chicago style, I would say that's a loose term at this place. The food was great and I would definitely recommend it for a quick bit if your in the area.

Love to here, we always stay at the excelsior hotel, which is just across the street. The food and drinks at Uno's are great value and the service is great. Always lots of locals eating here, so you know its great.

We found this place after a long day. The staff are very attentive and we did not wait long for our meal. We had the lemon herb chicken and it was very good. Very busy and nice atmosphere .

Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for Park Avenue West. Nice and close to the Museum of Natural History so was a great way to close out our day!

I live in the city and dine out at least 4 times a week. This past weekend, I brought family members, along with 3 children. A table full of staff members sat a few tables away from us using obscene language. We ordered an appetizer which never came. When I asked our server what happened, she became angry at us and blamed the kitchen. The server then said she would ask the manager if she could take the appetizer off the bill, like she was doing us a favor. Our table was never cleared. When we asked, we received nothing but attitude!

I stopped there with my girlfriend after visiting the AMNH and I need to say that it was a great success. We had the 2 dishes for 12$ meal. They were all delicious and I need to say that the waiter Maria was very nice and friendly. I will go there again if I find one in Midtown.

A very busy restaurant right in front of Central Park. I was there on Oct 12 with a group of 45 college students who enjoyed the all-you-can eat pizza and pasta. Very friendly service, affordable price....The bathrooms were heavily used and not very clean. I have to say that was the only issue I had with that restaurant. The rest was very good.

We enter here to have a quick lunch. The place has an American traditional style. I had a deep dish pizza it was good but not the best I had ever have. My husband had a cheeseburguer. My husband is allergic to pepper and any spicy food so he asked if he could have the burger with the bacon but without the pepper. The waiter’s reaction was surprisingly bad and rude. After we were going to pay and we didn’t have change so we ask the waiter if he could make it 40 (already with a big tip of 15$) he took the money and when he came back to us he asked what we have said to him and we told him for him to make it 40. He had a super rude and aggressive attitude and gave us the chance of almost 20$ in 1$ bills. We still said thank you and wish him a good day but no reply. So in resume, the food is good for the price but the waiter is really not a good person.

This is an ok place to grab a pizza and a pint. But, really, the food is nothing to write home about. Their deep dish pizza is just a bland tasting pizza. No flavour. Just... a pizza. Service was slow, throughout. I noticed guests at other tables waiting for 8-10 minutes just to get the beer they ordered. This was a Sunday afternoon, quite a lot of guests, but not full. This is indeed a "family friendly" place, so if you come in the weekends, expect lots of loud kids.

We ordered chicken and ribs prior to going to a movie. Portions are huge and you come away very full. All in all, not a must.

The food is very delicious, the service in Spanish, a super friendly Puerto Rican girl. And very close to the natural history museum

Food was great, and hot. My steak was cooked perfectly. But my server needs some help. We have been here too long tonight.

This was a great place to eat with amazing staff. Our server Ron was fantastic - giving great advice about portion size and the history. Howard also spoke to us and was brilliant . The greatest place to eat in Chicago.

We came across this place for lunch while taking a lovely work on our last day in NYC. There was a 15 mins wait for the seats but was worth the wait as the place was full of life! Drinks were lovely but the pizza was amazing! I had deep pan meat feast, I recommend only getting 4 slice as it is quite filling and the sauce is rich with flavour. The cost was cheap also. No booking tables required unless you go in the evening. Also if you are too full and plenty left over, they also provide a pizza box for any left over.

Great atmosphere, good value and really friendly staff. Good prices at happy hour and special meal offers.

Went here for lunch after a bike run around Central Park and returning our hire bikes to Bike and Roll nearby. Good service and good selection of food with some lunch specials. Had burger sliders and chicken Cesar salad. Very tasty, nice clean place.

A good visit after visit to Museum of Natural History. High calorie franchise food but tasty. Fairly priced and sized kids menu. Beer selection average. Flatbread good but order one for two people. Service rapid. Good for lunch.

Chicago's UNO pizzeria should NEVER lend its name to the NY Uno's. Everything is amazingly different. Starting with the service which is one of the worst in the cities, and ending with the most important thing: its deep dish pizza is not even close to the Chicago version. The crust is much thicker and not as crispy, the filling is very poor and it feels like you are eating a regular pizza. I recommend if you want to try the real deep dish pizza, don't fo for it in NY. Go for the real one in Chicago.

It is unfortunate that such a beautiful place and with so much time in the Service I have such a bad service, they do not have good attention to the Customer, 1) they came to take the order after having more than 8 minutes waiting for them to come, after taking the order more than 30 minutes passed to tell us that we had to wait longer, and until removing the dishes and bringing the bill was another cause

Tasty pizza, brilliant service, nice family atmosphere. The Granny Smith all American desert was delicious. All four members of our family strongly recommend it.

LOVED this place . Order nachos for our family , 2 pizzas and the kids meatball and spaghetti and cookie with ice cream . The potion sizes were huge . Drinks were refilled without being asked which was great . Food was of a very high standard and the price was extremely cheap and the service was fab . Would definitely return to this place if we vist New York again.

greatest pizza on 2 separate occasions. we did the deep dish with mushrooms and broccoli and the flat bread with olives, tomatoes, crumble cheese. outstanding. try these guys out!

Although from the outside we had initially written the restaurant off, someone staying at our hotel recommended it. with great service we found them to be fast and efficient and the food was amazing. I had a deep dish pizza which was just like the ones in Chicago. we ate here 3 times in all, much cheaper than some of the places we had been to as well.

Shared two pizzas here with my travelling companion - great atmosphere and excellent service. Prices were very reasonable and great range of drinks available.

We had lunch here, four of us, because it was close. Surprisingly, the ambiance inside was very nice for a chain, and the food was also very good. I had a salad and the baked mac and cheese, two others had a specialty flatbread, and the young one with us a cheese pizza from the kid's menu. The hostess who seated us was extremely nice. Our waitress, not so much. Four people at the table, she only brought two waters. She said she'd bring more, but never did. We had to ask for refills of our other drinks. She seemed far more interested in checking out who was sitting at other tables than waiting on us. Too bad, we are usually big tippers.

A perfect place to eat and have a drink. We had a deep dish pizza and blue moon bear - it was perfect!

Nothing bad. I ordered Napoli artizan pizza, my husband mushrooms flatbread. Both were good. Very close to AMNH. It was fan when my son was given a blue piece of pizza dough to play with. He liked it a lot.

I was there by chance while I was in the area and honestly I didn't know the history, nor the type of pizza that is the workhorse of this place; for an Italian clearly it's a big gamble, but I must say that the deep dish pizza struck me: it's a kind of rustic pizza, but the flavors are well balanced and while not comparable to a real pizza (the dough is obviously not soft) is something to try; casual place, fair prices

We had everything from drinks to appetizers to the main meal and then desert for only 50 bucks not only that but the food was made with love

Had a Chicago pizza and a regular pizza, they were both decent but too expensive for what you get, even by NY standards. The worst that the 12.9 dollars flat tasteless beer. For this reason we tipped something around 14 % and the waiter did nothing to hide that he was upset and called us « cheap ».

If your are looking for decent and cheap drinks... above average appetizers... this is the place to go... local ball games are usually on...

If you need a place with good food and cheap prices ( for NYC) this is it. The food and service were wonderful and the restaurant was relaxing.

This place is unbelievable! The service was amazing and they went above and beyond to accommodate us with dietary concerns for a member of our family. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Just go and eat there!

A disappointing evening. Mediocre food, no atmosphere, very confused and poor service. 5 minutes up Columbus in either direction will take you to many better options

Our server was outstanding. He was friendly, efficient and helpful. Our vegetable pizza was terrific. The 16 inch was too large for just two persons but our server was quick to offer boxes and a bag to bring it home.

9:00 am: call to let them know I want to pick up a pizza at 3pm. Plenty of warning, no? Pizza was ready at 3:30 pm. Incorrect order. Wrong size. Wrong pizza. Stick to the local pizza joints in the UWS

My wife and I come here for dinner about once every 2-3 weeks. We really enjoy the food and find the wait staff to be far more attentive than other similar restaurants. Emily is the best of the best! We would definitely recommend the Columbus Avenue Uno's Pizzeria & Grill.

We stopped here for a meal after a show in Times Square. Polite, efficient staff, clean surroundings and reasonable prices. My wife had a burger and I went for the 12" pizza. Both were tasty, well presented and filling.

Ate here after the Natural History Museum and it was so much better than Artichoke pizza. Couldn't believe Chicago pizza could out do New York pizza in New York, but they did it. Service was excellent also!

This day was one of the best I had in New York City! The snow was falling very softly. I had a great time at the Metropolitan Museum (spent all day long admiring egyptian/medieval/modern art). In the corner, right in the back of the block, there is this place called Pizzeria Uno Chicago. It's doesn't seem very big when you first look, but there's a lot of room in there. The employees were not very polite: they kept my girlfriend and I waiting at the door and didn't give much attention when we asked for explanations about the menu. The pizza is different from everything we've ever tried. It's similar to Pizza Hut, but definitely better, perhaps a little too spicy. The price is not cheap, so you should be prepared. Hint: take a picture with Wayne Gretzy's shirt in the wall.

We went for a quick bite to eat after visiting the museum. We where seated very quickly and given menus to look at. The service was great the waitress who took out order was very pleasant. She took our drink order my girlfriend got a cocktail and I asked for a Brooklyn lager. My girlfriend got her cocktail and I was told the barrel had to be changed. After 10 minutes I still hadn't had a beer and was then told the Brooklyn was finished so I had a Sam Adams. The food came after about 20-30 mins which wasn't great but we didn't mind as we where on holiday. I had a pizza and pasta for $12 which was amazing price and the food tasted good aswell. My partner had a pasta she really enjoyed too. We would go back again as it was good price for good food. :)

Busy but got us in pretty quick like--doesnt appear so big but rooms in the back. We have dined there prior. this time placed in room in the back which was noisy. Server was pre-occupied with another table. Even when dealing with our table she had to be interrupted to deal with them. Would have had another beer but she never bothered--so saved a few bucks

Stopped here on the way back from the natural history museum and very glad we did food was lovely pizza just the right size leaving room for delicious dessert.waitress was very friendly and helpful beer lovely and fizzy drinks refilled free of charge would highly recommend

Pre-booked an all-you-care-to-eat menu for a group of 32 teenagers. Fantastic fantastic service. Our server (Edwin?) managed to keep all glasses topped up, at all times, with the correct drink, ensure we all had a good few slices of pizza on our plate and even hurried out the chocolate chip cookies once he knew we had a coach collecting us for the airport. We were even able to take away the left-over pizza in boxes, which was perfect for our 8 hour flight home that evening. Can't ask for anything more with a group this size, and age.

Our friend took the steak & cheese thin crust pizza, which he let us taste and it was good. My brother and I took the Farmer's Market deep dish pizza. The topping was very good, but the crust was pretty stiff, dry and grainy, which was not in accordance to our taste. Important note: it was the first time we ever ate a deep dish crust, so we have no point of comparison for this type of food. Perhaps it was fine, but just not in our taste range. We are not sure, but we didn't liked it. Service was medium. The restaurant was nearly empty and we struggled to have more water and had to wait about 20 minutes for the bill. (My brother actually had to get up to find where the waiter was to ask for it) The menu has information about the number of calories in each dishes and they also put a triangle next to every meal that exceeds the sodium recommandation for a day. Sadly, most meal busted the daily calories and salt count. Good information, but wondering why they don't do something about it.

We were looking for something to eat after several hours in the AMNH UNO's was the first "eatery" that we encountered and it was a fortunate choice. We were seated promptly. Our waiter was not the most dynamic we have encountered but provided good service. The scampi pasta and vegetarian pizza were excellent! Ingredients were plentiful, fresh and flavourful without being overpowering.

ate out of here about 4 times in a 7 day period, by far and away the best pizza i have ever tasted. Great selection of beers, friendly waiting on staff, bar staff not so much! We ordered food to take away and eat back at the hotel, didn't wait too long either, quicker than rays which was just down the road. If you are heading to the museum you must give this place a go, if you are staying around here, you will struggle to eat anywhere else if you are a pizza fan

We lucked out with a great server for our granddaughter’s pizza BD party. Our server and backup were very attentive and the tiny room filled with kids, parents and some of us grandparents worked out very well. Pizza is Uno Pizza, not a NYers favorite, but fresh and tasty anyway. Facility is a bit tired and borderline dirty, but it’s priced right. Side salad, guacamole and chicken fingers were good. Service made up for the tired facility and ok food. Seems well run otherwise.

Terrible attendance! We waited 30 minutes for a table as they only had one option for a family table. We were just 4 adults and 2 children, one of whom was a baby. Terrible service and a delay for everything, water, food, bills… Terrible! I do not recommend.

After a visit at Museum of Natural history dropped for lunch nearby. Service was nice and pizzas were tasty. Especially vegetarian glutenfree pizza was really good.

Went for lunch after walk through Central park. Food was tasty and really good value. Service was slow despite not being particularly busy. Our waiter was friendly but man at front counter who showed us to seats wasn't. Women's restroom was very unclean. Think ok for families on a budget

Had a few hours to kill after dropping my daughter and a friend off in the city so I came here for a quick lunch. Had French Onion Soup and a cheese burger with fries. I sat in the front room and had a window view. My waiter was great and very attentive. Food was good and I enjoyed it. Place might look a little smaller than a typical Uno that is out in the suburbs but you have to remember that this is NYC. There are also several different dining rooms so get the one you want. I've eaten in the back room a few times as well. Great location if you are going to the American Museum of Natural History or Central Park.

I've been to Uno's in other states and consider it a good family dining option: reliable food, efficient service and options for kids. At this location we sat in a back room where the server was absent most of the time and always in a rush when he showed up. We were not in a rush and had lunch with no issues despite almost begging for attention. For ordering deserts we ordered a desert from the kids menu (sundae) and the server asked: "do you want that or the chocolate chip one ? The chocolate chip is tastier. " So we accepted the suggestion. This is where things took the wrong turn; he ordered 7 deserts instead of 1! We decided to keep 3 and returned 4. When we got the bill another surprise: instead of costing 1.99 (kids menu desert price), the cookie desert was actually priced at 10 bucks ! So we ordered one 1.99 desert and ended up paying for 30 dollars for desert we did not order. Sure, we ate the desert (thinking they were priced at 1.99) so we paid for them. Thinking back it seems the waiter made a mistake when ordering 7 instead of 1 (as he was always rushing and not paying attention to us at all) but the desert swap was certainly on purpose to make us order a much more expensive item from the menu (5 x the price). So while I will keep dining at Uno's in my travels I will be very alert next time just in case !

We'd never had a pizza like this before - very much like a pie! Very small establishment and very old fashioned. Small tables with not much room, but very good service and the food excellent.

I like tike the place... Very good service they you can watch any game in the bar or sit to have lunch... I order veggie pasta it was good, great mix of vegetable and tasty. Maybe for vegetarians, but not for vegan.

I absolutely love their pizza, I always order the take out. Their dine in experience is also great, nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal with friends and family

I've always enjoyed an occasional deep dish pizza and Uno's is a great place to stop by and enjoy a quality pie at a very reasonable price. The beer is good, service great, portions huge and basically a terrific place to go to catch up with friends.

The atmosphere just felt friendly. I guess that's a bit of the servers and the patrons, as well. The food was prompt and tasty. The servers were friendly, cordial, and helpful.

There are way too many good places to eat in NYC than this. The pizza was cold and beer hot. Please walk on to the next place....

Having just arrived in New York we were looking for a place that sold New York Clam chowder and this place had the perfect chowder. We went back for lunch the next day and had flat bread pizza and this was just as good. The staff are very friendly and helpful they have great beers on tap and bottles and and a good selection of wines. The second time there the manager came over and introduced himself and told us other places to visit. If you are in New York and want a friendly place that has great food make a point of going here I will be surprised if you do not enjoy the experience.

Five of us, including teenagers enjoyed a good value tasty dinner with hot food devoured very quickly. Service was prompt and meal value for money. Very near central park

We just attended UNO Pizzeria & Grill (New York) Deep-Dish Cooking Class at the Columbus Ave. location on the Upper West Side and had a lot of fun, not to mention a delicious pizza. The class was presented by Managers Sheila and Tripp and was very well planned and organized. Our class was small (6 people - 5 adults and one youngster) but it was a lot of fun interacting with 4 new friends. We all had the opportunity to add the different ingredients to create the dough and took turns kneading it. Since the dough takes time to rise and time was an issue, we were then given individual pans and previously made dough for the actual pizzas we were about to create. We learned how to spread the dough up the sides of the pan and how to add cheese as the first layer for a proper deep dish pizza. Then it was time for the toppings, then the sauce and finally another layer of cheese to complete the pie. While the pizzas baked in the oven, we had a delicious choice of 3 salads and beverages as part of the meal. Then our pizzas arrived and they were delicious. We received several nice souvenirs along with a recipe pamphlet to complete our morning. All in all, a great fun experience. Highly recommended for all, especially kids, as a family outing. Thanks to Sheila and Tripp for a job well done.

Service from our waitress was absolutely phenomenal. She was very attentive and patient. The older guy bussing tables - not so nice at all and very impatient. We waited 15 minutes for him to clean the booth and the manager had to hurry him along - bad for business at 11PM! Food quality - there was a good variety of options from quasi-Mediterranean to Italian and American food fare - you choose. Not so authentic on the hummus - high salt content; chilled vegetables in balsamic sauce - avoid this option; bruschetta and mini-toast - a sure hit; the wings were very good when you are hungry and you may choose the heat intensity of your BBQ sauce; the meatballs - just okay. My pina colada had extra cherries which made me quite happy however the taste of the drink just a bit watery - avoid. The most enjoyable part was reuniting with college roommates.

Stopped in here for lunch. Great drink selection and service. We had one of the lunch specials which was a choice of 2, either soup, salad or 1/2 of sandwich. We each picked the salad, soup combo. Could hardly eat it all. The salads were huge and they give you a full bowl of soup, with seconds if you want. All for 7.99. What a deal is that.

We got ribs, burgers, and pizza amongst a group of 4. Beer on special too. Very good times and food and beer!

They have Happy hour m f 4 7 and all day sun there are pretty busy on weekends because it is a good location and good prices

i have really been trying to not eat pizza, but this place is so worth it! if your going to eat pizza, eat it here!

Best Chicago pizza I’ve had outside of Chicago. This was even delivered by an Uber driver and the taste was incredible. There was one technical issue, but the overall flavor of the three pizzas were fantastic.

Uno's on the UWS is your standard Uno's. Great specials, food is consistently good, nice specials and just an overall nice place to sit at the bar or get take-in. Staff is super friendly as well.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill is a good neighborhood restaurant, especially for lunch. The food is ample, of good quality, not fancy. Don't go unless you're real hungry - because the portions are huge - which means you get a lot for your money. The service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere quiet, and the chairs comfortable. The "BLT" (bacon, lettuce & tomato) sandwich also included a side of french fries. The restaurant has been popular in the Uppper West Side for many years, and I believe is a branch of a similar Chicago-based restaurant

We were staying at a hotel close by ,friendly service nice pub food good cocktails. very noisy when we were there,we would go again

The pizza was good for the US. But most of all, our waiter was a very friendly guy and very attentive. He gets my 5 stars.

10-15 min walk from Met and I didn't even mind it. I got a small deep dish pepperoni pizza and it was amazing and just enough for me to get me full but not to full and trust me I eat a lot. I mean just thinking about it is making my mouth watery. The bartender(from what I heard, is always there on Saturdays) was so nice that she asked her coworkers for an iPhone charger because she didn't have one for me. She eventually found one and saved my life and brought my phone from 5% to 55%. With out a doubt a must go to if you by the Met Museum.

This chain restaurant is located within one block of the Museum of Natural History. The service was good and the manager checked twice to see how things were going. There was an excellent special giving two dishes per person for $12.00. We enjoyed interesting salads and I had tortellini and my husband had deep dish pizza. There was also special pricing for beers and margaritas available. We passed on them but did indulge with a brownie a la mode for $2.49 a bargain anywhere but unheard of in expensive New York City!

A fun place to eat with really friendly attentive staff. An extensive menu that you pore over for too long because the choices are so difficult (I wanted at least four of the main courses and all of the desserts!) and it comes up well presented and fresh. The flatbread is superb!

The restaurant is good and make be better. Nice staff. The service is good and quickly. The food is tasty. Not the cheaper of his category. Not warm and I ate with my jacket. The WC not clean.

We live in the neighborhood and love Pizzeria Uno. We dine there 2-3 times a month. Staff is very friendly, service is amazingly good, food is great and children are very welcomed here.

if you want good quality food in good surroundings you should eat here. It gives you a sense of the real new york

The appetizers and drinks were good. The service was prompt and courteous and professional but with a casual atmosphere.

This Chicago landmark doesn't take reservations. The interiors have an old world charm. All deep dish require a minimum of 45 min,so we ordered shrimp and crab dip, which turned out to be the star of evening. The barbecue chicken deep dish was massive but just ok taste wise.

I was here during the national championship football game and it was a great place to be. Great staff, great food and more importantly they stayed open late until the game finished. ROLL TIDE!

I will not return to Uno's even though the location and prices are very convenient. We had terrible service. It must have been the Boston Red Sox hat my husband was wearing but our waiter treated us poorly, banging our plates of food on the table, do we really have to go out of the way to ask for cream with our coffee?, he didn't even bring out my main meal and we had to wait over 10 minutes for a sandwich when it wasn't busy. We ended up getting our food to go because the waiter made us so uncomfortable. Not only was he rude, forgot the meal, but he didn't even get my order right. I ordered the rice not the fries. If he didn't like the Red Sox hat he must've been really pissed to see we were paying with a Red Sox credit card. We won't be going back because of such bad service.

The location is close to the American Natural History Museum and convenient if with a family that needs food (and an alcoholic drink for adults to calm nerves) after hours in the museum and is far better than the Museum food court. Staff waiter 'Wizeman' friendly and helpful. Menu contains various options and not only pizza.

Not wanting to go far from our hotel we ate here as it was just across the road. The name of the restaurant led us to believe it was more Italian than maybe it was. The food was ok and relatively well priced but it was not the dining experience we were expecting. One interesting thing was the very efficient system of ordering from the menu monitor on the table.

Prices are very reasonable and my bacon cheeseburger was pretty tasty. My waitress was friendly and came around often for refills. They got themselves a return customer.

With all the good places in this city,we made a terrible mistake eating here. We ordered the deep dish neat special, The pizza was served luke warm. We sent it back, STILL COLD. Very little meat and tasteless sauce. The place was on the dirty side. Server had no personality, but did an okay job. A cup of soup was pr3etty good, and salads were ok. With all the great pizzas around DON'T waste your time or money here.

We first visited a Uno pizzeria in Florida and my daughter chose to go to a Uno on her birthday in NY. Took a little while to find with our phones GPS but we eventually got there. The pizza was just how we remembered from Florida restaurant and again we wasn't disappointed and felt well and truly stuffed after eating. Cocktails that me and hubby had was spot on too! A very happy daughter on her birthday!

This place has a nice late night happy hour, so it wasn't expensive, but this is a wasted night out. Staff was friendly, that's the best thing going here. In a city full of great pizza, the pizza here is just okay. I don't know what they did wrong, but this doesn't taste like Chicago pizza. It looks like it, but it tastes bland. Save your time and money, and just walk back down to Patsy's for a better pie.

Best thin crust Pizza I have had anywhere- unique taste, not burnt or dried out as most thin crusts pizza's tend to be. Convenient to Museum of Natural history and a much better alternative then the Museum cafe's which tend to be crowed and over priced. They also had a convenient mini-computer on table which made getting and paying the bill quick and easy

The food was avrege but the saff was very nice and fast. The area is nice just near the central park. Anyway this is a goos place to have a little pizza and go on with the day.

Food was mediocre and I received 2 drinks in plastic cups, which is less than the amount of their regular glass because they ran out of glass cups for the alcohols. Waited at the bar for 10min to get our drinks while we wait for our table and it wasn't even busy at the bar. It seems the restaurant wasn't able to handle the chaos after the marathon ran. Go somewhere else.

We’ve been there with 4 adults and 4 kids. Although a super busy place and you may have to wait for 15 minutes to get a table, the waiters are very friendly and helpful, especially with kids and their wishes. Any special kids wish is not a problem, they can do it. Not a place where you would spend a nice and quiet evening but the ideal place if you are out with your kids. Very reasonable price and ideal with/for kids, highly recommendable.

Good food fast service and an unique menu with loads of food and special things . Crazygood pizza and supper good desserts .

This eatery was opposite to our hotel The Excelsior on Columbus Avenue we ate here on two occasions and were very pleased with the high level of service provided by the friendly waiting staff. So many items on the menu with such a variety of food on offer good atmosphere on both occasions we visited. Can recommend the build your own flat bread pizzas try the pitcher of Sangria - never ending! Loved it so much we visited twice on our two night stay at The Excelsior.

Decent food but the manager (woman) is sooo rude. They were not accepting apple pay and despite me being a dad with two kids, she treated me as if I was going to run away without paying.

What a wonderful old school restaurant. Greeted at the door as we entered, offered a glass of water straight away as it was a hot day. A big selection on the menu, our waiter Patrick was so helpful and knew his job. The food was excellent, including dessert. Lovely restaurant and excellent staff, Thankyou Patrick

Family of 6 on holiday. Both the deep pan and thin pizzas were great and my veggie daughter found something to suit too

My family and I dropped by here for lunch after visiting the nearby historical museum. Food is great, and service is quick. I don’t believe the tables and chairs are cleaned thoroughly after each guest (which may or may not be a big issue depending on the guest). This is not a restaurant to seek out, but if you’re in the area and hungry, it’s definitely worth a visit.

New York Pizza at it's best. A must have. Great food and great people. The prices are very good as well.

My wife and I visited here twice on our stay in NYC - we were well impressed with the pizza choices, gluten free was on the menu - I opted for the chili with pepperoni and spicy sausage (minus the pineapple)

We had lunch here after visiting the Museum of Natural History. Friendly service, good prices and a good selection of beer and pizza - the deep dish pizza we had was excellent and more than enough for the two of us.

Good cold beer and nice environment. We ordered lobster & shrimp spaghetti and it was really good. The pasta itself could be tastier, but was good. The dessert was amazing (triple chocolate brownie sundae). Pros: beer, pasta, dessert, table service. Cons: waiting area, our name on the wainting list got strikedthrough (?) withou anyone calling us and the estimation of 20min became almost an hour. Restroom is small.

My friends and I came to NYC for a weekend and booked a cooking class to make deep dish pizza at this location. I emailed the head coordinator and we talked back and forth and everything seemed great. My friends and I all woke up early to attend the class at 8:45 A.M on Mother's Day and we were greeted by a closed restaurant. We called the coordinator multiple times and she did not pick up. We paid $45 dollars per person (4 people) and the people inside said that they had no cooking class planned for today. I have all of the confirmation emails and proof and yet we are left with no pizza. Really disappointed and definitely will not be booking a cooking class anytime soon.

Pizzeria Uno had really good food -- not only Italian. We had hamburgers which were delicious and a terrific dessert.

My wife and I happened upon this restaurant after visiting the AMNH. Service was good and quick and the food was great. We really enjoyed our meal.

This place was near my hotel so I thought to give it a try. The place is nice and they broadcast several sports (multiple TVs). Let me start with the drinks, My friend and I ordered raspberry lemonade, it was a mix that they make, and it was a total failure, very sweet and all you can taste is the raspberry syrup. The appetizer was not bad, we ordered "mozzarella cheese stix", however, it was just toasted sliced breads with cheese in it! As for the main course I ordered a cheese & tomatto deep dish pizza, and this was good. It is not a bad place but I personally regret not trying other places for my last restaurant in the states within the current trip.

Stopped here for lunch and dinner on the same day and it certainly was a contrast. Lunchtime service could not be faulted but dinner left a lot to be desired. Our waiter at lunchtime was very attentive and was quick to offer suggestions and attend to our every need even though the place was quite crowded. We had the "This, That & The Other Thing Sampler" and it was very tasty! As for dinner, well the service was certainly a let down in comparison. Our waitress was not very attentive and seemed disinterested. That being said the pizza was delicious and was reasonably priced.

Had the pizza and burger, Both were excellent choices. Price was good for the portions and the atmosphere was very nice. Not your typical family environment or for large groups. Very friendly staff.

Great way to end a visit to the natural history museum! We ordered a chicken and vegetable plate and 2 pizzas a thin crust and traditional Chicago deep dish. All 3 were perfect, we especially like the tomato sauce on the pizzas. Next time we visit NYC we’ll be back.

In June, I placed an online order & upon arrival it was closed. To date, I’m still waiting for my refund. The GM Chris, finally mailed a gift card as reimbursement. Well I just checked the balance of the card and it’s INACTIVE!!!😡😡😡 No find balance available. Unreal !!

I've been here before and vowed to return. Having stayed on 81st St two years ago, Uno became a favourite eatery and bar and was great to see in the New Year. For this trip although we were staying near Grand Central, we came back for dinner and weren't disappointed. Food was good, waitress was very helpful and efficient leaving us just the right amount of time to choose and eat. Only down side was that they'd run out of 2 of the wines on the menu.

We love Uno and everywhere we go we look for one. This one was a bit below what we have come to expect out of them. The deep dish pizza still great and the service good but it was just the place. It felt small, dirty, the bathrooms were not neat...I don’t know, it felt weird...not like all other Uno we have been to.

Stopped in for beers after checking out some of the Seinfeld locations. The bartender and patrons were very helpful and fun. Great atmosphere. Next time I will try their food.

The food at Uno's is average. If one is looking to experience authentic New York pizza, then Uno's is not the place to dine. Other dishes are good. I ate a chicken dish which was very good, but the Alfredo past that accompanied it was tasteless.

Fancied something other than NY style pizza and Google threw up this place and it delivered. Service was quick and pleasant. Menu is extensive with Deep Dish and thin crust pizza plus a load of other items all at very reasonable prices. My pie was tasty and filled me up for sure. This is a good spot for a quick lunch or dinner- nothing fancy but decent food at prices to match. Especially handy after a visit to the museum.

My friend, her grand-daughter and I arrived in NYC late last night to start a tour. We randomly found UNO as it was close to the hotel we are staying at. We must have gone on a good night as we had a wonderful waitress Emily who was welcoming and attentative. My friend has coeliac disease and was ecstatic to find a gluten free menu and enjoyed her burger on a gluten free bun. She stated this was the first and most enjoyable burger she has eaten in years. I enjoyed my meal. Having read the previous reviews after eating at Uno, I cannot fault our experience.

Nice food, fairly priced. Great service. We had to wait a bit, as it was very busy, and they gave us a free appetizer. It was full of families as it is next to the Natural History museum.

A short walk from the museum of natural history. Good for a family lunch, pizza was quite good and service quick. Big chocolate cake dessert good for 3.

Place was quiet (it was mid-afternoon) and the service was fine. Nice decor, airy and fresh. Ipad type thing on the tables which could be handy if you have kids, although there is a charge for playing with it. All fine and dandy, but the pizza - well, mine was wonderful. Which is kinda important. Great pizza. Only strange aspect of the visit was a trip to the small gents' restroom, where someone (presumably a member of staff) was changing his clothes. Not in a stall, but right in front of the only urinal. In fact, his wallet was perched on top of it! As I say, strange.

This was our go to 'local' after a busy day sightseeing. A cleansing ale (albeit a bit pricey) very welcome. Good food and the trade mark bumper servings, friendly staff. Recommend

Never too much of a wait, and the best pizza, and gluten free pizza around. They've added so many things to their menu now, from salads, pasta and burgers too. Our party of 6 was very happy. Though the back room was a little noisy with a low ceiling and fake brick walls. Suggest sitting up front or in the smaller atrium room. Service was good, with only one mistake, But overall a nice place.

After a full day at the American Museum of Natural History we were looking for a place to enjoy a place with a wide range of choices. This place really fit the bill! Our grandson had pizza, my wife had shrimp scampi with angel hair and I had their "rattlesnake pasta". All were great and the service was very good...

When we arrived for lunch there was a waiting time of about 20 minutes, when we saw the menu we were really doubting about the quality of the food. We ordered a BBQ platter, a whole lot of food, spare ribs, chicken wings and a small burger. In fact it is not haute cuisine, but typical American food, it was just delicious. A big thank you to the fantastic staff serving us really well.

Cramped busy quarters give this spot it's charm. Service and food was great, highly recommend trying out the original deep dish!

My wife and I come here for dinner about once every 2-3 weeks. We really enjoy the food and find the wait staff to be far more attentive than other similar restaurants. Emily is the best of the best! We would definitely recommend the Columbus Avenue Uno's Pizzeria & Grill.

We stumbled upon this place while we were wondering through Central Park. Too hungry to pay attention to the reviews and I'm glad we did. We were seated immediately (we went on a Sunday) which obviously bodes well. The waiter too our order and was really polite. The pizza came out and we had to share at it in awe! Thankfully the menu states that it is big enough for 2 - 4 people and it really is!! The best part about this restaurant is that it has a tablet at the table which you can use to entertain kids (albeit you have to make a 1 off fee) but you can "summon" your server and pay your bill rather than having to wait for the bill etc. All round good experience and I would visit again.

We were leaving the History museum around 12 pm and wanted a nice lunch before heading back on the road. This restaurant is right next to the museum and when we walked in, we were seated immediately. Servers and host were very friendly. We ordered a Spinnocoli pizza to share, my daughter had the pepperoni pizza kid meal and my son the mac and cheese. We all enjoyed the food. Very good. The Mac and cheese was probably the weakest meal out of everything. Service was quick, too. Would recommend if you want a quite, sit down, non-crowded lunch. This was on a Saturday and we were surprised we didn't have to wait.

Just popped in here as it was close the the americqn natural history museum. Wrong choice. Service was incredibly poor and very slow... i cant count the number of times people were moaning. And then the food... not great at all. Burger smelt strange... side of broccoli was just nasty... and the shrimp and crab dish had no crab in ot and was a big bowl of cheese with some over cooked prawns thrown in. Do not enter these doors !!

This restaurant was at the top of the road where our hotel was so we gave it a try & were not disappointed. Our waiter Abu was friendly & funny & our food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend

We had our dinner at this restaurant during our visit to NYC and it was one of the best decisions we did. This restaurant has several options to choose (including kids menu). We opted for pizzas, and spaguetti with meatball from the kids menu. Everything was really tasty, large portions, and the highlight was the chocolate cake for dessert. The giant chocolate cake. It was shared by our three, but we could not finish it! Cozy atmosphere, reasonably priced, perfectly located, and friendly staff (sometimes hard to find at some restaurants in NYC). I would repeat today!

I visited last week with a few friends on a weekend trip to NYC. We were told we would get a table in 10 minutes, 20 minutes later still no table. When we eventually did get a table, the server was not attentive; she seemed to have her mind elsewhere. The food was beyond disappointing. The Chicago thin crust pizza tasted like the frozen one from the grocery store, like if you accidentally left the cardboard on while cooking it. Not what I was expecting from a successful American chain. Plus, the menu warns you about the calorie intake of the food items. Some items have sodium levels more than the daily intake! I don't understand it. Don't trust the good reviews on here...

Having just arrived in New York we were looking for something to eat that was quick and good quality before jet lag set in. We came across this place and it was great for what we wanted. A good range of food available at reasonable prices. One of our party required a gluten free meal and there was a good choice. Gluten free, alcohol free and draft ales were all available. Service was excellent.

We visited in March 2016 as the restaurant was near our hotel. It had a variety of dishes to choose from. Staff were friendly but service was a bit hit and miss.

Had lunch there on a cold sunny day. Service was friendly and prompt. Beer was tasty & cold. Food was good and a reasonable price. I would go there again for sure.

Low quality food. A pizza so salty I had to drink a litre of water after it. No wonder it was over my recommended daily intake of sodium, tasted like my recommended yearly intake

This place had the best gluten free pizza that I went back twice!!! They also had a great deal, if you got one pizza the second was $5, takeaway only. The pizza base for gluten free was the best I've ever had. We just sat and had a drink at the bar while we waited for our order.

Look for the 2 for $12 meals. Great choice of entrees and as the title says outstanding price. Not just pizza. Great pastas, burgers, etc. Something for the whole family. If you go tell Emily (waitress) her friends from Seattle say hi. She is super friendly and remembered us from our visit last year.

We needed a warm American break in a typical place!! It was perfect!! Service and quality of food. We enjoyed it. Thanks to the whole team

As a gluten free traveler eating out in an unfamiliar city can be a difficult experience, but I was very well looked after at Uno. They have a good GF menu, and were careful to ensure there was no chance of cross contamination with my order and my husband's non-GF meal. Even better though, the GF pizza was amazing! It's been years since I was able to eat "real" pizza and I've really missed it... I loved the pepperoni pizza I had, it's just a shame I won't be able to make the 5000 mile journey from Edinburgh that often. Our waiter Neo was also lovely, and gave us some great sightseeing tips, we'd highly recommend this place especially for celiac travellers.

The worst experience of my life. More than 40 minutes to get pizza. Tourists are not welcome at all. As a bonus, the waiter insulted me openly for not tipping him. To flee

Had some great food and drink here, and David the barman was really friendly and worked really hard. Kept the bar, bar food and drinks for the restaurant supplied on his own, brilliant man.

Really friendly service and fantastic menu at a reasonable price just across the AMNH. Go the monstrously large whole hog burger and give yourself the energy to finish off the museum tour!

We stopped here for a nice break from the museum, and enjoyed some pretty tasty thin crust pizza for the effort of walking around the block, and the chicken caesar salad was pretty darn good also if you ask me. ( and I eat salad every day ) The pizza was a nice side and feed 4 adults no problem.

Used to have a Uno in our home town but it closed. This restaurant reminded me how good the food is there. The service was excellent. We were there on a Tuesday and they had a promotion where kids eat free. One of the best and cheapest meals we had while in New York.

Tried uno as it was our first night in NY and just up the block from our hotel. The food was hot, tasty and the beer cold and the service fast and polite. It was busy so we sat in the bar but still felt like we were in the restaurant area.

Since I was visiting the city I felt I couldn't leaving without experiencing the pizza! Got a takeaway took it back to my room and could not finish it at all! Side orders are definitely not necessary. Loved trying though!

I went there to eat lunch! I took a plate tasty, and good looking. The stuff was normal. Yes I'll go again

We visited this restaurant twice as it was a short walk from our hotel. The food was great and the service excellent, especially Emily who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Well worth a visit.

Stayed at the Excelsior Hotel which has limited dining hours and choices. Uno is just down the block so we ate dinner there twice. Had the flatbread with our choice of toppings and a salad for very reasonable price. This is great, tasty comfort food. It's a family restaurant and definitely gets very loud. Just be prepared, and drink more wine.

The atmosphere will have you thinking that you are in Chicago! The staff were great, but my only complaint was that the pizza was a little bit to salty for me.

Nothing bad here, just very predictable, edible food. This was not on our list of places to eat but circumstances led us there and it was a decent experience. The service was okay. Actually, the greeting/welcoming was non-existent (hostess seemed to be unsure if she should seat people or concentrate on something else) but once we were seated things were fine. Seating is tight in spots and the floor layout is strange but the servers were good and food was served promptly. Gluten Free options were numerous which is always a nice thing to find.
Nice cocktails
Good food and great cocktails, staff are really nice and friendly, they didn't pressure for a tip, which we found a rarity,
