So amazingly delicious! Will most definitely be back! đ Get the CREMINO! Cuor do cacao was delicious also!

The original Venchi was founded in Turin in 1878, and they recently opened this branch on the corner of Union Square, next to Paragon. This is a very small store, a chocolate boutique, that sells crepes, chocolate in many forms and gelato. There are a few small tables agains a backdrop of a very tall chocolate waterfall. The narrow area, which would be like a lost useless space, becomes a very interesting spot with the chocolate fountain that looks like a shiny chocolate curtain. Feeling surrounded by a shower of chocolate is really inspiring for chocolate lovers! They offer many different chocolate tablets, bonbons, boxed chocolate, pralines, chocolate spread. And they sell a beautiful chocolate tablet named Venezuela! The wrapper describes it: Venchi Buono Buonissimo VENEZUELA 100% cocoa. Pasta di cacao amazzonico. Ricco - Full-bodied. Latte, frutta secca e frutti rossi (milk, nuts and red fruits).

I discovered this chic Italian ice cream parlor near Union Square. It sells gelato in the front, plus chocolate and coffee farther down the counter. You can eat there or take it with you. The back has a waterfall effect in the wall, so glam. I had the cappuccino and hazelnut gelato, very delicious, but pricey at about $7 for 2 small balls in a cup. Ordering is tricky. You have to line up, check out the assortment to your right, then move back to your left to order your size portion, pay, then return to the right to choose your gelato, sort of a confusing assembly line. I rated it only 4 stars for the high price and slightly snooty service.

Open open 8 months this place is an oasis for chocolate and gelato fans. Beautifully laid out with sweet decorations it has high end products That will set you back in calories and money. Never. The less I love it and will return often. Located almost next door to Patagonia is very busy later in the day

Best ice cream experience!! The stracciatella ice cream and chocolate samples melt in your mouth! Very fresh and not too overpoweringly sweet, just right. The staff were very friendly đ Best ice cream experience!! The stracciatella ice cream and chocolate samples melt in your mouth! Very fresh and not too sweet, just right. First time eating in venchi Saw a line and I join it because I love ice cream service was welcoming and nice But .....the taste was ok and was too pricy Wasnât worth the calories

Stumbled upon this place while walking around in New York! Great place to get an after dinner dessert if you love delicious gelato!

A fantastic gelato at Venchi. I tried the 82% chocolate as well as the almond ice cream. Both were exquisite. I recommend!

Good gelato, assembly-line service somewhat snotty. $6 for a single scoop cone. Lovely store/great decor.

I went to the branch at Columbus and 69th (doesnât seem to have its own entry) and the gelato was AMAZING. It was quite expensive, but what a taste sensation. We were on vacay, so worth the splurge. A special treat.

It is a chic chocolatier and ice cream parlour. There are a few tables to enjoy on site. The ice cream is really amazing. The tastes are well pronounced and we are in the natural with good ingredients. To try especially in the summer.

Really good Italian ice cream on the way from the Subway to the Flatiron Building or Hatty Potter Store. Unusual varieties on offer, e.g. caramel with rosemary, or olive oil. For me, however, the absolute star was clearly pistachio!!!

This was an accidental stop when we were in the flatiron district. The walls were decorated with chocolate, and the gelato looked too delicious not to try. I opted for traditional vanilla in a waffle cone, but HAD to try the âPARMIGIANO REGGIANOâ gelato. I was shocked at how good it was. Sweet, creamy, almost vanilla like flavor base with an undeniable parmesan flavor. Iâm not quite sure how they were able to craft a traditional savory cheese into dessert, but they were successful! If you see a Venchi location, stop in and treat yourself!

The gelato is very tasty, but the servings are small for what you are paying. Entire store skews to the more expensive. Lots of choices of gelato and also candy bars and loose candy. What we had we enjoyed...just would have liked more.

Decided to stop by on my walk home from dinner because there is always room for dessert. Tried the chocolate gelato and it was heavenly. Had a nice space in back to enjoy the treat with a comfortable couch and plugs for phone chargers. They let you sample the different flavors of gelato as well.

An array of chocolates and delicious looking gelatos are sold at Venchi. I am partial to the store in Union Square as I can gaze at the chocolate waterfall while savoring each spoonful of gelato. Recently I had signed up for the loyalty program and became a V-Club member. So it was a pleasant surprise to receive an email asking me to drop in to have a free cone. This was to try the new Laudemio Olive Oil Gelato in a cone. Free? I was ready and went last Friday. Santiago helped get a small cone brushed inside with an olive oil chocolate spread. Then I was given a choice of either pistachio or hazelnut but like the cremino and got that. On top of that gelato, the special olive oil gelato was balanced and topped with a dark chocolate disc. I was in seventh heaven with each lick. This was truly luscious and the chocolate spread inside had pooled into the bottom of the cone making it more like a melted chocolate biscuit as a last bite. Whenever I go I get a small cone with one flavor as itâs affordable. I often think but have never got one with the works but one day I will splurge. It certainly pays to join the V-Club. After all who knows whatâs in treat for the next time?

My daughter tried this in Italy and took us to their branch in New York. Amazing gelato flavors, crepe and chocolate covered waffle cones. The white chocolate gelato on crepe was good , and eating mango gelato was good to balance the sweetness of white chocolate.
Gelato and chocolate heaven
Came across this high end gelato and chocolate store while wandering around Broadway on a hot day. The vegan raspberry gelato hit the spot - just what the doctor ordered for a hot day! It also has an amazing selection of chocolates!
