I went with 2 friends that I hadn't seen in a couple of years - we ordered the crab cake and shrimp cocktail as appetizers, really meaty crab cake and excellent sauces. We had the porterhouse for 2, a huge and delicious cut of meat, and a small filet mignon to try that as well. Garlic and peppercorn sauce was great on both cuts. A couple of great sides, a tasty Pinot Noir, and shared a chocolate lava cake for dessert. Awesome food, great music selection, and Kevin was happy to play some 70's and 80's rock at our request.

Wow! This place is a must visit. We enjoyed some dinner and drinks here this and the service made the experience without mentioning how atmospheric it was. We sat at the bar which I recommend doing too, other customers were sharing how good their meals were with us! We thoroughly enjoyed this place, my boyfriend has been once already and we will definitely be returning next time we are in New York!

Again once you walk in the front door you get that warm welcoming feeling the host stand had a very nice young lady with two vinyl record players behind her that would continuously play wonderful music while you wait! Upon being sat we met our server Artie who did a great job and he explained the entire menu and made very good suggestions everything on the menu is delicious! Our appetizers came out in a timely manner and there was four of us splitting different items so he offered to cut these steaks so that we could share it easily the sides were delicious the entire experience was wonderful! It’s like having a high-end steakhouse without having the stuffy atmosphere we talked to the people to the table next to us and then once they left we talked to the young couple and it was her birthday we had a great time! The entire experience food and atmosphere were beyond what we expected and what made it even better was we met the owner Kevin who took a picture with us upon leaving! I would highly suggest this to everybody!

WoW what an amazing experience! From the moment we entered, we felt at home. Every member of staff were attentive and really looked after us. Food was delicious and what a cool vibe this restaurant has,choose your favourite Vynil and they play it all trough fantastic idea,a must go *****

Vinyl provides wonderful food, great service, and amazing music (at a volume that still allows quiet conversation), in a charming space with a very relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. All the staff were kind and knowledgable and the service was top notch. The owner Kevin is very personable and has a great business model combining high-end steakhouse food with great music played on heirloom vinyl LPs from a wide range of genres and decades and a professional somelier to boot. We started with a Rosé Negroni and a "Smoke in the Rain" Mezcal cocktail. Both totally whet our whistles for what was to come. We shared the Maryland-inspired Crabcake which was fine, but the highlight was the very generously sized Warmed Ricotta with Roasted grapes and delicious Balthazar bread. It was so good and ample that we only ate half with our other starter and finished it off with our entrees. These were the small but We chose the smaller, perfectly-sized 8-oz filet mignon – perfectly cooked and delish. The Scallops with Cauliflower, prepared two different ways, was beautifully seared and perfect for this (mostly) non-meat eater. A carrot cake, served warm, was the icing on the cake! We will happily return and look forward to Kevin's future endeavors!

Delicious food and great vibes. I will be back! I recommend trying any of the steaks, the truffle Mac & cheese, and the crab cake. Service was also awesome.

Maden er god og rigelig, fantastisk betjening, vi lavede en walk-in og det gik fint, kan især anbefale deres ribeye, det var et godt sted at holde sin fødselsdag. The food was excellent and plenty of it, fantastic service, we took a chance with a walk-in and that went well. Can especially recommend the ribeye, it was a great place to spend my birthday.

I hesitate to leave this review as the longer it takes for word to get out, the more likely I am to get in again on my next visit to New York, but they deserve the 5 stars. We were hesitant to take our concierge's advice and dine here as there were only a handful of online reviews but we are very glad we did. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Fun/cool/casual and with great music as you would expect from the name. We were told the restaurant is family-owned and were not disappointed there either as the owner came around to every table, introduced himself and made sure that we were enjoying our meal. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

This is a great restaurant! Very nicely prepared food, good service and great atmosphere. The vinyl collection is impressive and you can ask for your own selection of songs to be played. Overall a great experience and definitely a recommendation!

OMG! WOW! We went to continue my birthday; Christmas celebration after dinner and found this hidden treasure and gem! We experienced EXCELLENT hospitality from Mr. Sebastian, who was warm and kind. We created fond new memories, and had an awesome time surrounded by cool vinyl records. So happy and grateful!

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had. So dry it was like leather. Staff know little to nothing about wine pairing.The staff are so inattentive. We waited over an hour for our food and had to keep getting up and looking for a waiter. Not to mention the filth of the place! So unhygienic. Will not be returning!

I looked up a number of different steak restaurants on my trip to New York from London. I really wanted to go somewhere where the steaks were better than the decor. There were a lot of high-end chain-like options around my hotel but their reviews were quite poor. I decided to go for somewhere slightly different and I certainly have no regrets! I had a seat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail, glass of wine and a New York strip steak with some sides. It was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. I have also not stopped talking about it since. Go Go Go!

Great spot with good food and awesome ambiance! Would definitely recommend anyone try it out! Make sure to make s reservation as they were very busy!!

Absolutely wonderful! The food, the vibe, the service. Every single course was delicious. We started with the Warmed Ricotta and Crispy Sushi appetizers. So yummy. Then we both had the 7 oz filet mignon (both cooked to perfection) and shared the Roasted Broccoli and the Garlic Mashed. Sooooo good. We were going to skip dessert because we were full but when the owner found out it was our anniversary he treated us to a piece of carrot cake. I don’t even like carrot cake and it was amazing!!! This is not a quiet romantic kind of place but the vibe was so lovely and fun. Our server Christian was friendly and attentive and all of the staff seemed happy to be there making sure everyone had a good time. We will most definitely be back!

Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had! I came here for my boyfriends birthday. The atmosphere was right up his ally, walls covered with vinyl records and intimate candle lit tables. We shared the Dry Aged Porterhouse for two 28oz, cooked medium rare. A short while after it came out the manager came by to ask "how's the cook on the steak", I think this says a lot about the quality control of the restaurant, and goes beyond the generic "how's your meal". We also got a side of Loaded Potato Pave & Vinyl Bone Marrow Corn. Those portions were large and could easily serve 3-4 people. All the courses were well paced and the staff was very attentive. I'll definitely be returning.

Wow!! Such a cool vibe! The food was amazing 😋—the steak was cooked perfectly and the appetizers hit the spot! They also have an amazing wine selection and music!! We loved the vibe here and the food and drink were amazing! A++

We went twice to this great restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent. Top service, thanks Sebastian. Highly recommend. It is not cheap but worth the money.

We went to celebrate our last nite in NYC. It was a great choice. Our steaks and vegetarian salad was faultless. The chocolate dessert was devine

This is an incredible restaurant, amazing service, amazing food and Vinyl refers to records that they have hundreds of to pick the music you like to listen to. ,one side of an entire album! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and even got 2 glasses of complimentary champagne! Our waitress Brianna was incredible! We will definitely return!
