Simply yum. Quite a few choices but I bought ‘de bomb’ and it certainly was. Absolutely delicious and whilst I couldn’t normally eat this as it is big it was just so good to eat. Nothing left at the end.

We were in NYC for a girls weekend. Went to Bryant Park and had food here (desert that I can't remember the name). It was so good for a quick bite.

I passed by a few times, too busy to stop & buy one. Finally, I went out specifically for a waffle and my, oh my! Absolute waffle perfection! Please try this! If you have a passion for amazing desserts this needs to be on your NYC dessert tasting bucket list. Perfection. Waffles. Do it.

Quick sweet treat in Harold Square! I opted for the Churro wafel. It was topped with a thick and rich dulce de leche caramel, and then cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. No complaints here except the amount of calories!

My wife and I stopped by this truck looking at the massive crowd around it. We were completely surprised by the best waffles we ever had. And thereafter we happened to visit the truck thrice during our stay in NYC and every time we were served most yummiest waffles..The best part is they have so many varieties and flavors. Whether you are a waffle lover or not, you are gonna like their Waffles.

I passed this stand a few times but then my friend said I had to try it. Definitely a unique sweet treat. I got the s'mores waffle. Very rich but delicious. Fast and good for a nice day out in Times Square.

Beautiful place, clean, cute, with rich food, fed up with eating on the street and standing, is the best place. Try waffles with salmon, the ice cream glass with waffle and the ham and cheese sandwich with truffle oil. The one in the box, a Belgian was very communicative and friendly. That was key!

order a waffle with nutella, not that good; it's average and very expensive. Waitress were always talking in Spanish between them in front of customers; a little bit rude.

So glad we noticed this (although with the super convenient location in Times Square it wasn't hard to miss). Lots of variety on the menu. My daughter ordered a waffle and it ended up looking like a banana split - she loved it! So many delicious toppings on it. I had the best cup of hot chocolate that I've ever had, which was perfect for a cold December day. Definitely worth stopping here!

My wife and I split the bourbon maple and bacon waffle. It was amazing. The wafel itself was simply amazing. Topped with maple syrup and bacon and it just got kicked up a notch.

The most delicious taste that can exist on a cold, hungry day after visiting the Empire State Building is satisfying. It's gratifying to eat something on that beautiful little street that becomes magical... a waffle with bacon and maple syrup is what you need... very friendly employees and efficient service!!

I had this for the first time about 5 years ago and it was out of a truck and prices were reasonable. This time I stumbled into the one at Bryant Park. The waffles are made to order and excellent but the prices are higher than I remembered. I got 1 wafel with 1 topping - chocolate that I shared. $7. Yummy. Line moves fast. Order at 1 window, pick up at the other side window. Prices in line with other NYC desserts. Lots of different toppings.

The fact that you can get it as Street Food is nice. It wasn't the best waffle or the best bacon bourbon topping I ever had. But not the worst either. If you have a craving go for it. But otherwise you can do better...

The smell was better than the taste, but still glad we tried it! It was chewy and wouldn't cut with knife fork so that was main issue.

It is right next to to broadway ticket booth. I had the maple bacon waffle with ice cream. It was excellent. It was cool to sit, eat, and watch all that was going on. They have a bunch of small red tables. So it is nice to be able to sit after walking around. Add the ice cream it is worth it.

Good, but hard to get the seat. Always so many people occupied the table and seat. This is a food you have to sit and eat ( you can't enjoy this while you walking!)

Belgian Waffles in their decadence. Liege Wafels are made with pearl sugar, a beet sugar unique to Belgium. The pearls burst and caramelize when the dough hits the waffle iron, resulting in a dense, sugary waffle that’s rich in flavor. The Liege waffle is a real Belgian “street food”. The Dinges are the toppings, which those from Belgium decline. Sweet, aromatic, flavourful! Try them but the downfall...the price. About $10 each :(

Best Belgian waffles. Or so it says on the kiosk where I bought 2 waffles on different days. I ate both times on the location near Bryant Park(Corner of 6th Ave & 42nd Street) and first time I served a Fair Waffle with water priced at a total of 12 USD then the second time I ate a Elvis waffle priced at 13 SD. As you can see from the pictures the waffles are big and the most important part is that they are great tasting. I ate a lot of waffles during my travels (even in Belgium) and I must say these are by far better, at least to my taste. While the Fair waffle is simple yet delicious the Elvis Waffle is something a bit strange. It contains bacon, peanut butter, bananas and honey so the taste was something new for me. It wasn’t the usual sweet taste you expect from a waffle but it was an interesting taste that I enjoyed. I am aware the combination might seem strange to many but I was really looking for new things and decided to give it a try and I can’t say I am sorry I did. The portion is big and I, even at my size, wouldn’t try eating two waffles. It is just too much. So if you are in the mood for something sweet this is a great option and I think there are a few locations throughout Manhattan.

The staff at Wafels & Dinges was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Smores Waffle and a Salmon Benedict waffle. Both were great. The waffles were fluffy and crisp and all of the flavors melded well together.

The nicest and most friends staff I ever met.. the Wafels are that good that I had to go every day.. have it with ice cream u ppl Right at the back of the NY public library .. 6ave with 42nd st

The best wafels & dinges in NYC...Try them all, so worth it. Watch out for the squirrels because they will sneak up on you and snatch a piece from you.LOL!

I felt like I was back in Amsterdam! The wafel is made after you order it, so it was fresh and the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. I got the cookie spread for my topping and on a cool night, it just hit the spot. It is a "pop up" of sorts, but for Times Square, it's a good spot to take a little pretend "trip" to Europe.

Can’t imagine coming to New York without at least one wafel stop. And now it’s even easier with a cart in Times Square. Awesome as previous trips. You can order one with fruit or one to share for a lighter treat or completely indulge with a WMD all for yourself.

We eat at the stand on 6th & 42nd on the edge of Bryant Pk. The throwdown waffle with chocolate was fabulous and the banana nutella shake was to die for!

Waffles with all the toppings you can dream of. A wonderful treat for your NYC sightseeing adventures.

Don't miss this. Best snack I had in the city! Very fresh - a great cheap mid-afternoon snack to enjoy while people watching.

If you don't like these you are a soulless cardboard shell of a human. They are divinely delicious. Will go back first thing when I get in the city.

Lovely coffee (so my hubby says) and to die for Belgian coco with marshmallows and cream... I wish we have Wafels & Dinges back at home

If you have never eaten real Belgium waffels made in Belgium, you may like these. But if you have eaten REAL Belgium waffels, you won't.. Big Disappointment.

This was breakfast on our first day in NYC and no better choice but to have waffle! I opted for the Granola waffle which was meant to be the most healthiest choice. It has lovely berries, Greek Yoghurt and honey on it. Was very enjoyable. Quite a reasonable price. Service was a bit slow as there was only one guy working who had who to the till and food prep!

Took a welcome break in Bryant Park and couldn't resist the cinnamon buns at Wafels and Dinges. Really delicious, and the coffee was great too. Highly recommended as an excuse to take the weight off and refresh.

Try it! You must! I tried this a few years ago when I visited New York. And when I came back to New York this summer, I looked out this place, just because I like it so much. Highly recommended. Price might be a little bit on the expensive side, but worthed it.

Great choice for breakfast when we headed to Bryant Park after checking into a nearby hotel. Particularly enjoyed the Speculoos and Nutella ones. The bacon one that comes with a little maple syrup bottle was too rich for my taste but would surely appeal to any bacon lover out there. I don't know how authentic these are but they are sure mighty tasty.

Perfectly fabulous! We make sure to stop at least once every time we are in the city. They are not ordinary waffles, to be sure. The speckuloos is very sweet, but fruit and Nutella combo is divine.

Found Wafels and Dinges located across the street from Macy's. Loved the name as I'd lived in Belgium many years ago. Even bigger surprise was that the staff were 100% Belgium - just like their delicious waffles. I ordered the morning special with Nutella. Possibly the best way to start the day. Delicious. Warm and sweet and just what you need before heading off to the shops. They are located across Manhattan at various locations, but the one across from Macy's I think will always be my favourite now.

OMG there are no words - so GOOD! Make sure you try these waffles when in NYC as they are worth it. You will need a good walk afterwards for all the calories but soooo worth it.

We had a Belgian waffle with nutella and bananas -- over priced but insanely delicious. We have had many of these before but this stand really executed it well and had a ton of options, including adding ice cream, chocolate, bacon, etc. The best treat we had all weekend.

I’ve been wanting to visit here for so long because I love waffles. The waffle was A-MAZING but the customer services was awful. I believe people in New York is that way. They lack of courtesy.

Delicious! The toppings were fresh. The waffle was made perfect - crispy on outside and soft in the middle. So yummy!!

We were down by the Hudson River by the Meat packing district and walked the boardwalk by the ocean overlooking the Freedom Tower and across to Jersey City. The Kiosk for Waffe and Dinges was open so we split one. Had strawberries, banana's chocolate and whip cream, paid for nuts but they forgot them, didn't matter, we inhaled the waffle, delicious and a must stop anywhere in NYC at anyone of their kiosks or trucks etc. Delicious.

Very tasty street food, was great for when we wanted some quick food on the go, went here a couple of time during our visit to NYC.

Try the small wafel with strawberry. It is enough to get a taste without feeling that you went overboard.

Wafels & Dinges was right outside our Doubletree Suites hotel in Times Square. Lots of yummy wafel choices. We had one with strawberries, bananas, chocolate and whip cream. We were able to enjoy it at a small ice cream table right in the midst of Times Square. A great NY treat and experience.

Yes, the scent wafting out was tempting and that they take credit cards sealed the deal (since I rarely carry cash). However, the waffle was soggy and a bit on the lukewarm side; the syrup was overly tacky, the powdered sugar made a right mess, the hot chocolate was quite clearly made from powdered mix, and the entire thing cost close to $10. If it were substantially cheaper and I could be assured correct waffle temperature, I'd consider going back (and leaving off the powdered sugar) but that seems a bit of a tall order to be sure.
OMG squared
Just get a little one with powdered sugar and enjoy. Anything else is great too but come on. Just wafel is the pure test. Warm, melt in your mouth wafel. Better than the Euro standard.
