We are staying in nyc for the month of August and I really didn’t want to eat more bad food. This place is a gem for good healthy food. My son had chicken which was gorgeous, my husband and I each had grilled chicken and vegetables, really nice and fresh. Loved it! Even had colouring pencils for my son! The only draw back was the bathrooms were miles away!

Visited twice Once for drinks , and once for dinner It’s ok if you just want a quick dinner and nothing fancy We both had burger and chips , which were ok Service and staff were very friendly Sat outside which was nice for a drink We were sat in the middle of the restaurant, which was annoying as staff and guests had to squeeze by the pillar to get through

After a week of overdoing it in NYC, i was looking for somewhere remotely healthy and found Westville located in Wall Street. I had a delicious Blackened chicken sandwich with salad and my wife a kale salad with Blue cheese. The menu seemed to have a bit of everything even burgers and hot dogs as well as more healthier options which for NYC was a bit of a change. Would definitely recommend.

Nice restaurant with good products and awesome fries! The waitress was perfect! I highly recommend it!

We love to find restaurants which offer a good choice of fresh veg, well cooked. This one was excellent and exceptionally good value. The only reason I have knocked off one star was that on our first visit, the grilled chicken was a little on the dry side, being very slightly overdone. The veg were always superb, hot, fresh, crisp and plentiful. Altogether, very pleased with their service and food.

they have really good and tasty foods. I order a normal medium hamburger with blue cheese an it was done as I like

Westville is a go-to lunch spot for me and my work buddies. As my colleague always says - “Westville is the best-ville!” I recommend the brussel sprouts and cold lentil salad. Very friendly staff as well.

My GF recently declared I was uninterested in diners. I'd say Westville is a diner for our times, when we've moved away from club sandwiches and souvlaki platters, and we want reasonable prices, variety, and contemporary cuisine. Westville offers a wide range of choices which the diner can mix and match with perennial and seasonal additions: meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, salads, and drinks. Westville Wall Street is an attractive, pleasant space with some comfortable, uncrowded tables outside, separated nicely from the street and passers-by. I've eaten at Westville West Village and Dumbo, and this is the nicest space of the three. I loved my dinner. Here's the details: Almond crusted trout, 23 Ommengang, pint, HH, 5 Jameson's, shot, HH, 4 Whoopie Pie, banana and nutella, 4 TOTAL, 36 BONUS Happy Hour to 8 PM TIP Convenient to the Pier 11 - Wall Street - Ferry dock SHOUT OUT to Giuliano for friendly banter and great service TIP We Work guest WiFi (ww-guest) is open

If you like vegetables, you will like this place. There are at least 12 different kinds of vegetables on the menu plus another 5 or 6 daily specials. Five of us ordered a market plate. A market plate is when you can choose 6 different vegetables cooked in different ways from a larger selection of around 12 possibilities. They were so good we emptied the plate within five minutes, so we had to order another market plate with 6 more different vegetables. The macaroni and cheese, and the hamburger were also outstanding. The only reservation I had was that the place was loud.

What a fun place! Had cocktails at the bar and some vegan/vegetarian dishes like split pea soup and butternut squash and sweet potato fries. Glad to find this spot so close to the ferry at Pier 11. Loved the service. They knew we didn't have much time until our ferry and food was quick. Will be back

Food was quite and they had a nice assortment of draft beers. Right next to South Street Sea Port so if you are in a rush as we were, waiting to go to the movie, this was an ideal place to stop and eat. Great eggs and the Caesar salad made my wife happy all day. Wholesome food.

The service was fast and friendly, the food was tasty, I appreciated the many vegan options. It had a nice atmosphere and the drinks were nice too. I had the quinoa artichoke burger and it was good, my husband enjoyed his turkey burger. The fries are really good! And the pecan pie was amazing.

Pros - nice location - great waitstaff - decent size menu with something for everyone - decent food, not great and good portions Cons - chairs are uncomfortable to sit in - there were little mini bugs flying everywhere - music playing inside and out was very loud Overall it is a decent place with average food. The waitstaff is excellent.

My new favorite spot after work. It is a little of the beaten track of other bars, so it is not as crowded. The food is appetizing and a great happy hour. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly.

We visited this restaurant one evening. When we called to book a table just before turning up we were advised there was a 30 minute delay. We turned up on spec and they were able to quickly find a table for two. The place was actually full - a testament to a popular haunt. The restaurant is centrally located, is large with floor to ceiling glass windows along one side which lets in plenty of natural light. The food was very good. Service was attentive and could not be faulted. The restrooms are located out of the main doors and down a flight of stairs at which there is a likelihood of getting lost because there was no clear signage. A bit of a challenge!

I was in NYC for work and was looking around for somewhere to have lunch. I saw this place and I like the look so I went in. I had to sit and order at the bar because the establishment was full for the lunch rush. I was greeted and sat promptly and handed a menu. I decided to go with one of the lunch specials, the southwest chicken salad. I assumed it would be fried (it was called southwest chicken) but the chicken was grilled, which was a pleasant surprise. The grilled chicken was served on a bed of romaine and kale sprinkled with an ample amount of cranberries. I think the other ingredients include avocado. The serving portion was generous and the meal was tasty. Quite satisfying when you need to get a nice meal quick. I recommend it.

Check the website each day day between 10:50-11:15am for the daily lunch specials. My coworkers and I love the chicken burger. Their veggie scrambles are delicious too. Their website is very user friendly and makes it easy to add protein to your salad or dish. I’ve never had a bad meal from them - all ingredients are always very fresh.

The menu was not the common stuff one sees in similar places, we had the Argentinean steak rice bowl (not Chinese recipe) and a bottle of red. Very nice dish, tasty and huge - full to the brim. Service was very nice by every member working there. River front and Pier was few minutes close by - the walk was necessary to help the huge amount of food go down. Enjoy.

Great atmosphere! And the food was just wonderful considering moderate prices. Fresh and creative vegetables with quality meats. A superb butternut squash soup with perfectly toasted pumpkin seeds! Yum Yum Yum!

I've been to this location probably 4 or 5 times now. Consistently amazing food and service, close to the ferry. Excellent prices. And a full bar. Food and drinks came out very fast. Went for lunch. Had the special quinoa and artichoke burger with avocado and Brussel sprouts. Also had the molten lava chocolate cake with ice cream, and a drink special i can't remember the name of but it was WARM and yummy with oat milk, rum, frangelico and one more thing. Absolutely yummo. Service was so pleasant. We sat well after the lunch crowd left and staff were content to let us sit and chat. Thanks for another home run meal! I crave those Brussel sprouts!

Finding a reasonably priced, sit-down restaurant downtown for lunch can be hard, and Westville is a great choice for tasty dishes with tons of fresh vegetables. It can get busy midday, but worth the wait. The teriyaki veggie market bowl is excellent!

After wandering around the financial district, we were looking for dinner. It was so nice to get a very veggie-heavy dinner, as I had been eating pretty poorly while in NYC. I got the market plate which comes with four vegetables. The mushrooms and beets were amazing, the sweet potatoes were great, and the cauliflower was good. There are several locations around the city and I would recommend as a great, healthier place.

We came from Italy for a long weekend, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. We’ve been visiting New York for years and know the city well, yet this place truly stood out. We had dinner here every evening, each time trying different dishes — all of them excellent. Highly recommended for the consistently high quality of the food. Rossella & Luciano

Nice ambience in this restaurant. Fast and friendly service. Medium price range. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served here. For dinner options, choose between burgers, nachos, pastas, vegetarian options, salads, etc..

This was a perfect location for our Saturday family brunch/lunch. We sat outside and I was genuinely amazed that they were able to please the palates of 10 of us, ranging in age from 19 months to 93 years (yes, you read that correctly)! Everyone was offered the opportunity to try others' dishes, so we really got a good sampling of the menu. I loved my own California Benedict, and others were very happy with their choices of the baked challah french toast, various omelets, homemade granola with fruit, and a hot dog - remember the 19 month old :-) However, the big hit were the market plates (a choice of 3 market vegetables and I think there had to have been more than a dozen from which to choose). The vegetables were all roasted perfectly. Our server was very polite and accommodating and she didn't flinch when one of the younger members of our group accidentally knocked over and iced coffee. As busy as this location reportedly is during the week, it was very nice to be there on a Saturday without any crowds, knowing that we could relax and enjoy our meal and our family. When back in the area, we will likely return.

Food and friendly service was great. Slightly quieter area opposite Pier 11 (ferry terminal) and therefore nice to sit outside.

beautiful space, vegan options and very hospitable staff. we weren't shamed for coming in with drenched clothing (from wet snow) and they even gave us a free round of drinks because there was a loud upset business man in our vicinity!
Great brunch!!
We chose this restaurant because we couldn’t get into our “first choice”. That was great! Had the best avocado and eggs, and bagel and lox. My dish was a little cold, but they warmed it right up! Coffee yummy. Service friendly. Not overly loud. Prices reasonable.
