We didn't know when we ordered, but the pizza was gluten free (we began to wonder because the crust is different). I ordered the spinach artichoke ($15) and enjoyed it, but my friends ordered the pepperoni diavola ($15) and didn't like it. The hazelnut panaccota ($8) was too sweet. Our server was super nice, and the ambiance is cute.

Wild is a small restaurant and as such it can get very noisy when there are many people especially in big parties. However it does have that authentic feel of an Italian rustic taverna because of this and you need to go with it. The food was delicious and the pizza base is gluten free think and crispy.

Who isn't annoyed by Gluten free people and food allergies? Well at this place you can go wild and eat it all. Came here with a hand full of Anti-Gluten types, and they all enjoyed their meal, as did I. The food here was good and I have no Gluten basis or Gluten *s to add either.

Love the outside seating experience. Friendly staff always with a smile and none of the hipster attitude! Really like their pizzas. They are all gluten free and really think crust. Nice outside sitting.

Went for a Sunday brunch - the staff were a bit slow with the service but when the food/drinks did arrive we were pleasantly surprised - very tasty and healthy cuisine. Enjoyed a glass of champagne which went down a treat and watched the people walk by.... Book a table outside on the sidewalk for the best people watching vantage.

This is a small restaurant with a limited number of tables. We did not make a reservation and had to wait for about 45 minutes. Eventually we were seated at a small table right next to a large, noisy birthday party group. Normally, this wouldn't bother me, but because of the small and rather cramped dining area, they were inches from our table and the sound really reverberated. The food was very good. We had the Skinny Pizza with grilled zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomato, pesto, marinara sauce, plus we added mushrooms to this. Also the Zucchini "pasta" with mushroom, onion, and peppers. We also shared a very tasty kale salad. Everything was well-prepared and nicely seasoned. The dessert was a disappointment - the vegan peanut butter bomb, though beautifully plated, was too rich for our tastes.

We went here for lunch on a beautiful summer day. We got a table outside and enjoyed a healthy appetizer plate along with a delicious thin crust pizza. The service was very friendly. Note the glasses they use for serving water have little cartoons on them. A very personal touch.

Good food and service, reasonable prices. Didn’t realize that this is a gluten free restaurant until after we left. You wouldn’t know that there was any difference. Only negative was that the restaurant is cramped - not necessarily unusual in NYC but it seemed a bit more so than other places.

We'd been to Wild for brunch in the summer, so we went back in January for dinner. The ambience is lovely and cheerful. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 different gluten-free pizzas, all tasty, but a bit crispy and dry around the edges. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Amazing amazing!! Being a celiac this place brought a tear to my eye. I had a chicken milenase with pasta and then a cannoli for dessert! So so good, and all my friends who are not gluten free enjoyed their meal as well! Also amazing location as it is in the heart of the West Village nightlife!

Family of four from Connecticut with a celiac son came here around Christmas and it was awesome! It has a neighborhood feel, like a well-kept secret. The menu is entirely gluten-free although you would never know it. My celiac son was in heaven. We came for lunch and the food was delicious (as are most places in NYC). Great service, hip atmosphere. There isn't a lot of space inside - it is small and tables are close together, but this adds to the charm of a "neighborhood spot". We will return.

Small, intimate setting with the most delicious gluten free food! Great service and wonderful bellinis for brunch!

This place is OK. A pizza restaurant not run by Italians. The staff are OK - but not especially warm or friendly. A miserly pizza costing nearly $20 is barely larger than a CD, which annoys me every time. So of course, you have to order something else and then you get a check which is 40% more than it should be for a quick snack. So I go very rarely, but if they were less grabby, I'd go all the time. I just wish some restaurants would think big not small. Makes no sense.

We were walking to Grenwich on a hot Sunday morning and decided to stop at this place for Brunch. It was busy inside but plenty of tables outside. We were offered water straight away and then the waiter took our order, i had the avocado Benedict and my wife had the yoghurt crunch, both of us had tea. We thought the price was very reasonable at 15.95 & 13.95 respectively. The food arrived promptly and was extremely good. The tea was included in the fixed price brunch too. After we had finished the food the waiter offered us more tea which we thought we’d have to pay for but when we checked the bill at the end, we weren’t, i guess it was just a refill included in the fixed price. It was lovely sat on the street watching folk go by on a chilled warm Sunday morning, good food, good service, good price. It actually turned out to be one of our favourite meals of our short break in NY

My wife and I went to this restaurant for our last evening meal on our trip to NYC. It proved to be a terrible experience. We have never experienced a place like this, unfortunately in a negative way. The service was lousy and the food didn't taste anything, to be honest. It did not help that we had to wait for one and a half hour to get our food, and the waitress ignoring us, although there were few guests in the restaurant. Go rather somewhere else.

I was so excited as this was the first fully gluten free restaurant I had ever been too. Sadly as we were pressed for time, we didn't have time to have a meal there so I ordered takeaway - a vegetarian pizza and the ravioli. Both were delicious.

This restaurant was my favourite dinner spot on our last trip to NYC. Two people in our party are celiac, and they raved about all the gluten free options. I myself had gluten free pizza and it was delicious. I also had a vegan coconut cake for dessert - and if all vegan food tasted that good, I wouldn't go back! The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was great, and the patio was so cute. Our service was very fast and our server was very friendly, as was everyone else in the restaurant. This is definitely a must on your next trip to the city!

Visited about 7pm for a meal, good food (didn't realise until now it was GF!) and service, great ambiance, lovely outdoor seating area and a nice clean bathroom. Very reasonably priced, would recommend for lunch on a sunny afternoon!

We had Wild's pizza for a late night snack and loved every piece. We chose the ricotta pizza scented with truffel. It was DELICIOUS! The place was full even after 10pm and the staff seemed short-handed. Maybe due to that the service was a bit messy but very nice and professional nevertheless. I would definitely go here again!

Cosy organic vegetarian restaurant with Gluten free options and locally sourced produce. Seating on enclosed sidewalk, or indoors. Staff very friendly. Great customer service. Recommend Brushetta, Mushroom & ricotta pizza, Skinny Cow (aubergines & courgettes) pizza & Artichokes & chilli pizza. Definitely recommended & worth a visit.

We visited as a family of 5, which included my youngest daughter and I who are Coeliac (and I am also vegetarian), plus husband and two teenage sons who have no food intolerances. We pre-booked for 9pm on a very busy Saturday night. They gave us a good table outside and the service was prompt and attentive throughout the meal. They coped with 5 very different food orders confidently and my husband enjoyed the gluten free lager that was recommended! It was a nice surprise to find a fully gf menu which catered for adults and children.

We called in here for lunch before flying home. We didn't realise it was vegetarian and gluten free, but were pleasantly surprised! We sat outside and had pizza and beer. The pizza was very tasty and service was good. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff.

The aspirations here are high, but, as you can tell from the reviews, service is touch and go, and those who think the pizzas are fantastic must have a pretty low bar. At lunch, there was one sullen guy behind the bar, and one waitress -- who the barman asked to load a package into a nearby parked car just after we said "Yes" to black pepper on our personal pizzas. She came back to our table about ten minutes later, saying, "There's only one of me," instead of "Sorry." I guess the rest of us have clones. The pizzas are aspirational: the crusts are paper-thin, with no flavor. The toppings were interesting: my wife's had arugula and goat cheese mozzarella, and mine had arugula plus a truffle jam, seemingly out of a can, and mushrooms -- tasty, but hardly great pizzas. Go to "Co." on 24th and 9th Ave. to see and taste the kind of pizzas Wild is trying and failing to produce.

We were looking for gluten-free meals in the Meatpacking District of NYC - A.I. told us that we had visited 3 of the top 4 and the only one left was Wild, so we had to try it and we are so glad that we did. The welcome was friendly and the choice of food (Italian) was great, and it was all gluten free (not that you would know it from appearance or taste). We had a great meal with some relations - the only downside being that the restaurant is so popular we were encouraged to depart once we had finished our meal!

The menu is extensive and offers delicious gluten free options! Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone needing Gluten Free meals

My wife and I have been coming here occasionally for many years because the kitchen is 100% gluten-free, and always had a great experience, but this lunch was other-worldly: my wife's Special Rigatoni Lamb Ragu was served with very undercooked pasta ("Al Dente" would have been welcome) that was inedible, and flavorless little pieces of sausage. We were comped for it. My Special Lobster Ravioli came as "Ravioli Soup," the tasteless raviolis (showing no hint of lobster) drowning in lobster-flavored sauce. What a shameful kitchen performance by a formerly reliable restaurant.

Gutten free Restaurant, tasty food, service is good, recommended for friends and family members, Great place to have a dinner

Located on Hudson Street in the West Village, WILD offers a healthy, local, gluten-free and vegan-friendly menu with plenty of options – from salads to pastas and wood fired pizzas.

Wild is a pretty place with wonderful gluten free pizzas and some the best salmon we've ever had. We like the white pizzas and the butternut squash ravioli, and the salmon with mashed potatoes in a caper sauce. Excellent place for families.

Love the little restaurant, Very good food, nice helpful staff. Gets very busy and reservation is recommended. Nice deco and atmosphere.

Me and my friends came across this resturant when we were in New York. We went there because I'do't eat gluten and they had a sign that said they had gluten free pizza and pasta. I had my first pizza in over a year and it was delicious. For dessert I had a glutenfree brownie and that was just as good as the pizza. The resturant had a very nive atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and serviceminded. I can recommend this resturant to anyone who is gluten intolorant or just doesn't eat gluten.

Great food and being Gluten Free was the first place I was able to eat in NY with any confidence. The chicken Milanese was lovely and the caramel cheesecake was definitely worth keeping room for.

Came across walking around having done 'The Highline'. Excellent find with pleasant & friendly service and lovely snack lunch - couldn't fault it!

Everything about this little restaurant in the Meat Packing District was charming, including our server, who was most friendly and attentive. Our breakfast was delicious, especially the baked eggs, served in a cast iron pan. We sat outdoors and enjoyed every moment. From there, we walked a short distance to the High Line, which is a great way to walk off breakfast. I shall go back!

My wife and I were visiting NY and did the typical tourist thing of visiting Canal St, Mulberry St and then walked the neighborhoods to the West Village looking for a trendy place to have lunch. We're far from vegans and being on vacation healthy eating wasn't our priority but it was a beautiful day and this small cafe has some street seating. The menu was health oriented targeting mostly vegan/non gluten lifestyle. The menu was somewhat limited. My wife ordered a salad and I ordered a flatbread. The presentation was OK but I didn't realize that healthy eating meant few spices and little flavor. Mine was basically flat bread with tomato sauce and no cheese. My wife said hers was OK but wouldn't order again. If I had to eat here every day I'm sure I would lose weight as I wouldn't eat too much!

Small portions, terrible pizza. Terrible pasta. But verry nice waiter. TerribleTerrible Terrible Terrible Terrible

We ate here and made our own pizza with the help of the nice staff. Serving was a bit confusing but our food and drinks was a nice surprise. The hummus, bruschetta's, and the other starters did not taste too much. Our self made pizza on the other hand was really good. Good atmosphere, a bit dark and with a young crowd.

Excellent gluten free meal. You would never know. Great pasta, calamari, excellent dessert. Even able to accommodate dairy free on 3 of the desserts. As adults we enjoyed the food, and our 8 year old who has both gluten and dairy issues enjoyed the food.

As the title says this place is good for Gluten Free. We'd researched this place in the UK before flying and them made the walk down from Times Square. I'd say it was nice but that's probably it. I didn't feel particularly welcome here. We had a few shopping bags as we'd been out all day and although we were not dressed up,scruffy we were not. We were placed by on a table by the door which was fine but it was tight for space and as I said we had bags. I tried to tuck them well out the way but to be honest it did start to get on my nerves after the staff kicked my stuff more than a few times. The food though was very good and a welcome break from American fast food. Although the server bringing out the main whilst you're still eating your starters is a very big no no. Our mains had to go back to the kitchen to wait where I believe they were re-nuked before being bought back out. My wife is the Coeliac and she was made up to be able to eat Gluten Free Ravioli. I'm not Gluten intolerant but was very happy with my pasta dish. The restroom in this establishment is far from ideal, just the one unisex which opens straight out into the restaurant. It is for the above reasons that I cannot score Wild any higher. I'd have loved to but it is just not quite there yet.

$200 for a modest meal for 4 people. I had a bruschetta starter, followed by a very small pizza, and a couple of beers. My wife had a salad, and my sons had a burger and a Bolognese. Nothing special about the meal, modest portions, and 'OK' quality. I realise NY is expensive, and Greenwich is a nice place etc.. but $200?

Pros: -everything is gf (including the deserts!) -can generally get a table if you just walk in - outdoor/indoor atmosphere - the food is consistently good Cons: - service. Difficult to get our orders taken. I heard one of the waiters call another waiter a swear word which was most unprofessional & really left a bad taste. - the wine list.

Wild offers a very varied menu, including gluten free pizza. However we had to wait an age to be served dinner. I think other reviews reflect this. The food when it arrived Pizza & Salmon, was lovely. The servers though really did not have a clue on customer service. There was no real apology for the long wait and then having waited forever to be served our main courses, the server appeared and asked my husband if he would like dessert whilst I was still eating!! Go figure! Needless to say we declined dessert. If you are starving like we were, don't go there.

We stopped at Wild on a whim for brunch one morning and can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised. After ordering sangria and being less then impressed we didn't have high hopes for our meals. When our food arrived both meals were hot, flavourful and simply delicious (we had the huevos rancheros and the shakshouka). Ultimately this ended up being one of the best meals we had our whole stay in Manhattan (and one of the cheapest). There is nothing special about the service or atmosphere (and definitely don't order the sangria) but the food more then makes Wild a "must do" if you are looking for a great brunch on Manhattan westside.

We stumbled upon this restaurant one evening and we're glad we did. Lots of comfort food options and the quality of food was very good. The service was excellent. The drinks were a bit weak in comparison. Good vegetarian options as well.

I just wanted to share a special restaurant if you are ever in the NY area visiting! My kids treated me to "Wild," in the West Village and it is 100% GF. They live in the West Village, do not have Celiac Disease and frequent this restaurant often, as the food is consistently good!! Not only is the food delicious, but the manager who took our order was soo helpful, kind and simply wanted to make sure I had a delicious meal when I told him I had Celiac Disease. The manager had seen my excitement, as I went through the GF menu and was making suggestions of food choices which were available as GF, which I may not be able to have in other restaurants. We started to have a dialogue and I asked if mashed potatoes could be substituted with a butternut squash ravioli! I simply could not believe when the butternut squash ravioli came out and the mashed potatoes were still plated with the chicken piccata! As he put the plate in front of me he said, "This is on me! We simply want you to have the best meal you have ever had and come back!" I ordered the individual pizza, chicken piccata and the butternut squash ravioli! My meal was excellent and of course I took 1/2 home for lunch! Not only was my meal delicious, but my family members do not have Celiac Disease, also loved the food! I highly recommend!

A really nice place to eat good glutenfree pizza and other things. The wait was friendly and the place was small and cozy.😊

We were exploring the neighborhood after a long day of travel. Looking for a place to stop for dinner. My wife is a Celiac and the fact that everything is Gluten Free was the entire draw. We were pretty hungry, thirsty, and tired. The place was packed. We were almost turned away when they created a 2-top from unused tables and chairs from other parties. Menu is italian with a touch of mediterranean. We both had pizzas and we split a cannoli. Pizzas were great! Crispy Italian (GF) bread, herby sauce, and flavorful toppings. Beer list was varied, local, and not too pricey. Our waiter was fun and attentive and the rest of the staff helped each other out with refills and service. Definitely away from the touristy areas and the place was full of locals. We loved it! Only downside is that it is a small space and with that many people it was warm and sticky. Once a few of the parties cleared out, the temperature leveled out.

This is a little gem in the west village for those who are Gluten Free. I Originally ended up there because of my friend and I was impressed by the food. It was very good ! Pizza crust are thin and it made a complete different experience of the regular pizzeria. The place is very convenient and has a nice terrace.

The service was terrible on a recent busy evening. The waiter was a scatterbrain beyond belief, and I wondered what the experience would be as he stumbled with our order. An hour and a half into the visit we asked very nicely about our food (pizzas for four out of five of us), and he only said he would bring it when the kitchen alerts him. The attitude was so annoying and changed our moods immediately. He got the billing wrong in several places, and we ultimately got the bartender to fix it because the waiter was off trying to juggle about six too many tables for his abilities. Oh, and leave the gluten-free pizza to those with celiac disease ... it's about as pasty and bland as can be, and the Wild toppings didn't help. You may regret dining here.

During a sudden downpour the we came in here to escape the rain. We had a refreshing ice tea and sat in the window watching NY pass by in the wet and it was lovely.

We had a great lunch here. The location is great and the whole restaurant has a very fun vibe, with very friendly staff. All gluten free menu makes it safe for Celiacs, and the food is delicious for everyone – I’ll definitely be returning!

Are daughter has coeliac disease so finding somewhere to eat that has a good menu for her and not taking the mick on pride is hard ! Then we found wild ! Well I can’t not fault this place ! Staff are friendly the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice , and the 100percent gluten free menu is amazing and the price is great for the fresh quality food that you get .

Food was average at best. Looked and tasted bland and unappealing. Tasted ok. Terrible service from one of the waiters. We hadn't finished with our starters when he started to pull away our plates to put down our mains. Almost pulled my fork out of my hand to put it on top of my main. It’s a shame as the waitresses who didn’t serve us seemed a lot nicer.

Do not go. I booked a pizza class. We went all the way there to enjoy a family dinner. After waiting 30 minutes they finally sit us down. No one was there to explain ANYTHING. I asked “why do we have to put honey” and they said “BECAUSE THE RECEPY IS LIKE THAT”. I ask what were we mixing, they didn’t know. After waiting 2 hours without doing nothing we left. I have been fighting the refund for 2 weeks already. NOTHING. You paid for a waist of time. And NO FOOD. Do NOT GO. It’s a SCAM.

Cannot believe some of the reviews - we stumbled on this restaurant after walking the Highline and it was a great experience. Paul our waiter was excellent, food was terrific (and all gluten free which was a relief to my wife) - wine options were good and all in a vibrant local atmosphere. Would highly recommend to other tourists - they even gave us accurate directions back to our hotel near Times Square!!!

We specifically went here for my nieces birthday as she is allergic to gluten and wanted her to get all the BEST foods for her birthday. I was NOT expecting us to all LOVE every single dish we got ! The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing and we didn’t have to worry about foot allergies for an evening !

Best Gluten Free Pizza yet and that includes a month in Italy. Good Service and excellent GF options. The pizza crust was very good. I'm almost shocked it didn't have gluten. They could go to buffalo if they could get it and this pizza would be outstanding. The service was very good. In the future I would eat outside if I could because the inside is crowded and loud. The price was a little steep but we rated it our number one restaurant for our five day stay.

The service was horrible. Twenty minutes to get a lukewarm glass of rose. The salad wasn't bad. Not much harm can be done to arugula, goat cheese and blueberries. The two gluten free pizzas were one step above eating bark. Has anyone ever heard of spices. Even our Welsh Corgi was not impressed. The restaurant has a twenty something following. They are welcome to it.

18:30. Good, just good. Nice terrace. Short variety, had to rely on the especial DayPlates to find something I really like. Willing and friend waiters.

On 30MAR2019 a group of four of us were looking for a supper meal on a warm evening in the area, and came across this location. We showed up to your restaurant and we were happily greeted by the bartender who was by the entrance. He let us know we'll be taken care of very soon, and got us a table, within a minute. As we took seat, it took about 10 minutes before the waiter came to take our drinks. We order drinks, appetizers, and food all at the same time. Throughout us waiting for our food, the buser would refill our water as we continued to wait. The food finally came out and we ate happily. During the entire siting, our waiter did not come to our table. He simply took our order, and gave us our tab, a tab in which I had to wave him down to get his attention to come to us. There was no service from him what so ever. We like to tip where it is deserved or even just for simply trying. We didn't add a tip to the receipt because it would have really felt as a disrespect to try to justify tipping a waiter who did not even do anything. I can't remember a time where I didn't tip. So we decided to leave cash for the buser, cash for the bar, and nothing on the ticket. I wanted to make sure the bartender and buser got their deserved due. The buser was helpful and nice. We ultimately left upset do to the lack of waiter service, we could have ordered to go, sat on the sidewalk and gotten almost the same result. We left and crossed the road. To my surprise, the waiter actually chased us down the street and demanded for us to tip him. He said we have to tip him for HIS service, and it is not right to not tip him money. He was very aggravated and I calmly listened to de-escalate his hostility and really tired to understand his point of view, which was it is unacceptable to not tip. I waited for him to hear me out. I told him that we didn't tip you because you didn't provide good service nor bad service, you simply weren't serving us. He nodded knowing I was right, and he still told me that I should still be tipping him. It looked really bad and embarrassing since he was make a scene in front of other potential customers. I had never actually had that happened to me. The restaurant has a wonderful vibe, the bartender and busers were very nice and attentive, but one waiter really made this experience very sour for the four of us. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to my friends or family. I really hope this doesn't happen to any other customers. The waiter was an older gentleman, I believe name Mourad.

My first gluten free pizza experience was fantastic! This little restaurant located in the village is very cosy and charming, it looks like a wine bar with a really nice & healthy menu. The gluten free pizza is by itself an experience and it was really good!

I reviewed this place in 2017, when it was a mediocre pizza restaurant. Since then, I have developed a serious intolerance for gluten -- and Wild has re-invented itself. My wife and I ate here recently, with no memory of the former iteration until I tried to "add a listing." My wife liked her Chicken Marsala, and I loved my Wild Mushroom Pasta. We both enjoyed the Calamari Fritti and the side of garlicky broccoli. Full bar. Such a big menu, I'll have to come back.

Wild is THE most savoury pizza I've ever eaten. Ingredients are sourced locally and all gluten-free. The quaint little restaurant is tucked away, with only a handful of tables, it makes for an intimate dining experience. The Pear Gorgonzola (pears, rosemary, mozzarella and raspberry) was almost dessert-like in its taste, but the cheese added a heartiness to the overall taste. The Wild White (mozzarella, ricotta, truffle oil, cracked pepper and chives) was a decadent, rich flavourful taste on a perfectly crispy dough.

The best gluten free pizza I've ever had ( and i've eaten gluten free in Rome at EAT MAMA and elsewhere in Italy). Mine had goat cheese, artichokes and spinach on it. Hubby had pasta, also gluten free, which he raved about and said " almost as good as what you make at home.". Brother-in-law also liked his gluten free pasta. Advice: pass on the bruschetta---bread was soggy.

After eating a lot of rich food in restaurants selected by friends we met in NYC, this was a nice break to be able eat that way I prefer to eat. The produce was fresh and in season, dedicated gluten free (for those of us who have to be concerned about cross contamination) and really delicious. A self confessed foodie, I give the pizza a big thumbs up . The salad was so fresh it could have come right from the garden! I tried the sangria, not always a fan as often it is too sweet, but this sangria was nicely balanced between fruity and refreshing.

Four of us ate at Wild on a busy Saturday evening in the west village. We were actually about an hour late for our booking, but the staff were incredibly gracious and held our table without question. We started out with a nice bottle of Pinot noir and the HOMEMADE HUMMUS, which were amazing. I ordered the Penne all’s Vodka for my main, which again was exceptional. Everyone else in our party absolutely loved their meal as well. Everything was fresh and had a real homemade Italian feel. Really, really liked this place and will be returning soon.

Third time I have visited this restaurant and for the third time we could not have been treated any nicer. We arrived around 7:00 p.m. without a reservation. They had a table available, sat us down, and gave us great service and great food! Of course everyone expects this kind of treatment at any restaurant, but given Wild's location in NYC, and the huge dinner crowds that flock to the area, one could expect perhaps a little attitude for walking in without a reservation. Not at Wild though. No attitude and totally accommodating!

We stopped at this restaurant on a nice warm summer evening after a 6 mile walk to sit outside and enjoy a nice meal. The outside seating was nice - the service extremely mediocre as was the food. If you need gluten free- this is the place for you - since everything is gluten free. For those who have a choice - move along, there are much better places to enjoy a meal.

As I have gluten free diet, it was nice surpirse to find this restaurant. Being hungry, we ordered starter and soup of the day. After 20 minutes came waiter to tell us that soup of the day he actually offered us is not available... after 40 minutes we got main courses and after that starter arrived. In Europe we first get starter and than main course. They charged us the soup even they didnt bring any. Very bad experience and not any more !!!!

I say that because it is a gluten free restaurant, but you will still like the food and the favors. I had the chicken parmigiano with spaghetti and had enough left for takeout. My wife liked her squash ravioli, and the rest of our family had the pizza. All good. The triple chocolate brownie was moist and not chalky like some other cafe brownies. Call for reservations, but if your in the neighborhood ask if they have an opening. Quiet neighborhood.

We visited here for late weekday lunch. Gluten-free options were ample with great service. The rain trapped us there and the staff all but got soaked to help us get a cab. All courses were delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Food was okay. Nice gluten free pizza BUT despite having reservation had 40 minute wait outside in the cold & we weren’t the only people in that situation. Once seated we got table by door which resulted in cold blast of air every time it opened. Apologies from the concierge were insincere & waiter service average at best. Disappointing

Wandered around the west village looking for brunch. I wish we had not stopped here. My friend and I both had an omelette. I and the wild mushroom and she had a custom with egg whites. Both of ours tasted greasy and drenched in oil. Mine also had sausage added to it even though that wasn't on the menu. It would have bothered me more but I had ordered a side sausage. So maybe they threw some of it in the omelette. I had asked for tomatoes on the side which came only after a few requests. The side salad was fine. We both left feeling abnormally full and greasy. I would definitely not go back.

Very excited to find such a cute, creative gluten free restaurant. Disappointment started when they said they had no record of our reservation. We were seated promptly nonetheless. Staff pleasant but felt nonexistent. Appetizer order messed up and then we waited for 45 minutes for salads and dinner-only after asking. At that point we just wanted out. Ordered zucchini noodles which was basically a bowl of tomato soup with some veggies. Pasta and salad were good. After all that we had to ask for the check and waited again. At no point did anyone apologize, let alone make amends. I am a native New Yorker and this place sadly does not cut it. Maybe we will try Williamsburg location.

We’ve been to Wild a few times this trip The ingredients are great quality so it follows...the food is excellent with broad choice. Pesto,Penne,Pizza and Salmon were great and the Aragula (rocket for we Australians) was fresh as. The desserts are lovely, and winning high distinction is the flourless chocolate cake which is perfectly balanced. Wine list is good too The staff are attentive and it is a completely gluten free environment. Thanks Wild

Too slow an tasteless food... When we arrived the place was not crowded but the service and food came first after 40 minutes.

Very nice cozy restaurant in a nice area. Bruschetta is really good and so is the pasta. Pitcher of sangria is def recommended so are the desserts. Would go back when I am in town.

I have celiac disease and Wild made my day. They’re 100% gluten-free and have all the options I would not have been able to have elsewhere. The energy in the restaurant was great and the servers were friendly. Went for brunch and they had a great deal to buy and entree with choice of juice, coffee, mimosa, etc for around $19. Will definitely be coming back.

Perfect dinner The food was perfect. Everything on the menu was gluten free. Very pleasant service and atmosphere. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Very tasty gluten free pizza & desert. Very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

We enjoyed a great meal here. The pizza was absolutely delicious and so fresh. The desserts looked amazing- though I didn't partake as I was nicely satisfied at this stage. Being a coeliac, it was fantastic to walk in and have a choice of the entire menu. Wild is in a nice location in Greenwich Village area (near the 'Friends' apartment if you fancy a visit!). The waiter was helpful and friendly. He initially brought the wrong pizza to me, but turned it to everyone's benefit- he emerged with it sliced up and offered each of the diners a piece! Well recommended.

We stopped for a quick bite and the meal was very good. Nothing fancy, but good pizza and very good hummus. Not a bad wine list. The restaurant is a bit small which was fine on a warm summer evening.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was so rushed that we were told if we ordered dessert we had to take it to go. This was a first for us, especially after only occupying our table for 55 minutes. I would order takeout in a heartbeat, but would never want to feel so rushed again while out enjoying a meal with my family. If you can’t allow people to sit at a table for 90 minutes you’re doing something wrong.

I don’t have stupidly high standards but this was THE worst meal we had during a five day stay in New York. Ordered a spiced rubbed chicken salad, I’m pretty sure that was it’s title. What I got was school homework warm chicken, onions, peppers in what tasted like jar tomato pasta sauce served on top of a bag of rocket. A combination that continues to confuse me….a very basic overcooked hot chicken pasta sauce served on top of a bowl full of dry rocket??? Spice rubbed chicken salad? My husband had chicken parmigiana equally poorly prepared and presented but resembling meat plus cheese plus pasta in a sauce as expected as per title . Incredibly overpriced for food that seemed to have been the brain child of a toddler and creation of a primary school child. One star for bringing ice fairly quickly for the bottle of warm tap water with bubbles settled in it and the smiley staff.

We loved this place! Fantastic lunch spot and amazing desserts! Gluten and dairy free macaroons and desserts! Wonderful service and quaint atmosphere!

Food is really good!! Restaurant is dedicated gluten free! We have been before because my daughter has celiac and she went to school in NYC. She just graduated and we took the entire family of grandparents, aunt and cousin. Everyone had a great meal and said you would never know it was gluten free… even the pasta dishes are just as good as gluten filled meals elsewhere. So relaxing to eat at an establishment that truly understands the disease and the food is terrific.

Stumbled upon this little gem after we walked the Highline. Very attentive service and great gf food. Cosy and local. Great shrimp pizza. Even my husband who is not gluten free loved it.

During a recent trip to New York, we came across this place almost by accident, whilst looking for a place to have a quick cuppa. I decided to have the cheesecake, which was probably the best I have ever tasted. In fact it was so good, we returned a few days later, and I just had to have the cheesecake again, and enjoyed it just as much! It was only whilst talking to the waiter that I realised the cheesecake was actually gluten free, which pleasantly suprised me. My wife enjoyed the french toast and fruit dish on both occasions. Friendly service and an altogether very pleasant experience. We will certainly return here on our next visit to New York.

5 of us arrived for brunch, only another table of 3 were in there. The waiter took 10 minutes to ask us what we would like to drink. After getting our coffees which were average we ordered. 3 of us got toast with avocado and egg, 1 an omelette and 1 a pizza thing. It took us almost an hour to get our then basically lunch. The place looks inviting and is decorated beautifully. Has potential. Just very very slow service.

Food was delicious and service was great. Amazing atmosphere and location aswell. The whole menu was gluten free - there was strictly no gluten allowed in the kitchen so coeliacs can feast with confidence. General Rating - 5 Coeliac Rating - 5 Overall Rating - 5

We ate here on New Year’s Day. There was only one waiter rushing around, pouring drinks, taking payments, clearing tables, serving drinks...etc..... he was very pleasant, but obviously overstretched. We ordered a hummus starter and a Bruschetta, the Bruschetta arrived halfway through the main course. 2 pizzas were appalling! Tasteless cardboard bases with no seasoning. Salad with walnuts and blue cheese was inedible (all leaves). Good atmosphere with a young crowd. Left here feeling disappointed and hungry. When the waiter took away our plates he did not enquire how our food was.... I am sure he could guess what we thought! I wish I had read the reviews before eating here. Come on guys, sort yourselves out, how difficult can it be to get a pizza right! This food is terrible.

Just a little ordinary. None of the meals stood out. But I guess it's good to have celiac options. Anyway, almost all-gluten free places will be three stars or less.

So good! We went for dinner and ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. All great. The gardenalia vodka and the chicken parmesan were definitely stand outs. The chicken parm was better than most restaurants, where it is not GF! Mozzarella sticks and the bread that came with hummus were also great.

Super nice place. Good food , nice ambiance, friendly and accommodating stuff ! We’re seated outside, enjoying the music !

We were so disappointed with our experience after reading the reviews. It looked nice from the outside, but the fact that this restaurant was empty while everywhere else was packed, should have sounded the alarm bells. When we asked how large the individual pizza was, she said 'about 9 inches'. We were expecting a round pizza, 9 inches across. Wrong! It was oval shaped and 9 inches long x 4 inches wide. It was served on a 'proper' full sized pizza plate which just made it (and the restaurant) look ridiculous, as their pizza took up less than half the dinner plate and slid about. I don't know whether we automatically got gluten-free pizzas, but the crust was ultra-thin and hard. We were all hungry afterwards. $16 for something you can get out of the chiller cabinet in a not very good supermarket for $3. The server was not attentive, even though the place was almost empty. When they brought up the check for 4 it had a 20% service charge added in to the price. No option to add in service, or choose whether you want to leave 15%, 20% etc. Having eaten in a dozen places in New York over four days, there are definitely two types of restaurant. Those that let you decide how much you want to leave - food and service excellent - and those that ask how much you want to leave - mediocre food and service. Now there is a third category, those that give you bad food and non-existent service and but slap 20% on the bill. Head to Bleecker or anywhere but avoid the irritation and an expensive, inedible meal

We were looking for a place to have a quick lunch and this little place was exactly what we needed. Cozy atmosphere, fresh ingredients and friendly service. No reason to not stop by if in the area.

The most amazing GF restaurant!! Our whole party enjoyed this restaurant, 2 celiac and 2 “regular. “ the wine was so good (if you like reds, try the Bordeaux) the fries were delicious, our meals were delicious, capital D! You would never know to you’re eating GF!! The tables are tight but you don’t feel like you’re in another table’s space. Great menu options, including desserts! I would 100% tell anyone I know to eat here!!

My husband and I visited Greenwich Village in July with our kids (16 and 9). Three of us are gluten free. We happened across Wild, and we are so glad we did. We ate there twice on our trip; the pizza is outstanding. The atmosphere is casual and open...very nice. My only complaint was that the service was terribly slow (both nights). But, the food was well worth the wait.

If you are gluten-free, this is the place to go!!! It’s wonderful to find a full on gluten-free restaurant! There aren’t that many around. Most restaurant offer “options” usually salads and meat options, this place is the real deal! I was like a kid in the candy store. I had a hard time deciding what to choose because there are so many options. My husband and I shared 2 dishes, the Burrata Special and Chicken Nachos, we were so full, we couldn’t order another dish. We will definitely go back again and try the raviolis and pizza! Yes raviolis!!!

Nice outdoor seating. Got a mixed drink that was so so. Disappointed in the beverage selection, they do not have liquor. Service was SLOW.

We found this place really friendly and their food was awesome. We had brunch (salmon and egg benedict) and also had dessert. Their dessert ‘menu’ involves bringing out a tray full of beautiful gluten free desserts for you to drool over! We had one with peanut butter and a chocolate brownie: both excellent. Couple great food and excellent service with a cute tree-lined Greenwich setting: what more could you ask for ??

My group looked at the receipt a few days later and realized that this restaurant charged us 41% gratuity. This is an absolute crime. We are appalled and the 8 of us will never return to this restaurant. Large groups BEWARE of this restaurant! Not only that, this restaurant was packed to a dangerous point! They should not be accepting reservations for groups of 8 people. We arrived and they sat us at a long table merged to seat us all (not a problem), however we ended up without the ability to pull out our chairs on two sides because we were completely bumped up to the tables behind us. Mid-through our meal they moved us six inches down so they could seat a table of five with a person's back/chair up against our table at times the waiters butt was in some of our faces while he was cleaning off other tables. It was absurd. The decor was nice, but it was so loud that it was difficult to speak to the people across the way, additionally they decided to add blasting music mid-way through our meal. Even the waiter had trouble hearing us. As for the food and drinks, they were angry that we didn't order food immediately. We ordered drinks first (I had their special a $13 each for a mediocre hot sangria in a mug — not my recommendation) and they pushed us to order food every two minutes. We were waiting for our ninth person who only arrived ten minutes late. The food was good quality ingredients. Only one out of the six different pizzas we selected was a miss (the mushroom with truffle oil — it was tasteless). The others were flavorful though, we only didn't love the crust which was a little bit too hard to eat (not burnt). They brought us our check immediately after clearing our table. It was a bit too rushed for my taste. UPDATE: We called the restaurant to contest the added tip to our bill and were told there is nothing they can do. Never again will I go to this restaurant.

This fully gluten free restaurant was amazing. Me and my partner got pizzas and the chocolate layered brownie. All of it tasted great. Would go back again.

Terribly slow service. We ordered and sat for 25 minutes with no drinks, no food, no explanation, no apology. Finally the appetizer arrived and so did the main course. The tables are postage size and could not accommodate all the food. We left very unsatisfied.

Went there for brunch on Sat. when they were opening. Kitchen was a little late getting ready for the day. Waiter was very friendly and honest telling us we would have to wait 10-15 minutes. Coffee was good and food was fresh and tasty. Service was attentive although we were the only ones in the restaurant. Theme decorations very unique and interesting (like light bulb shaped salt & pepper shakers) although that might be the norm in west village. They also have bottled craft beer and wine for afternoon and evening socializing and outdoor seating for summer months. Would recommend for small intimate brunch and would go back again.

On a rainy afternoon, walking through Greenwich Village, we stopped at “Wild.” We've never heard of this place before but it looked like a good place to stop. This restaurant boasted the usual “organic,” “farm raised,” gluten free and on and on- you know the drill! Wild stood out keeping this promise in a casual, intimate space with 5 star services. The popular roasted beet salad with goat cheese took center stage with its distinct flavors (everyone serves it these days) of each carefully selected ingredient. We shared a small thin crusted pizza (next time no sharing!) Again the crust perfectly crisp, anchovy light and fresh, cheese and tomato sauce perfection! These guys are the “real deal” committing to serve you from earth to table.

We had a wery good evening at wild. We thought we should have only a drink but we got a nice table on the street and continued with salad pizza wich was excellent. Nice staff as well.

Called in for a quick bite to eat. Both of us had the pizza which was good. Wild had a rustic feel to it. Service slightly slow but no complaints.

Both wait staff completely checked out and treated us with contempt. You would think a place that advertises as gluten free would have an allergen menu. Nope!! Soon as we asked for one, staff literally ignored us until we finally left 20min later. I felt sorry for the people who came in behind us.

The food here was amazing!! The avocado ricotta pizza was one of the best gluten free pizzas we ever had! The crust was very crispy and the toppings very flavourful. Definitely worth checking out, especially for celiacs as the whole restaurant is gluten free :)

Dropped by there for a quick lunch recently. Enjoyed the spicy prosciutto pizza with marinara sauce, while my daughter had the kale salad with smoked tofu and toasted edamame. Always a pleasant spot to visit. Good service and friendly atmosphere.

Checked in at Wild on Hudson Street. Ordered the wild mushroom truffle pizza with herbs and ricotta. All gluten free and delicious! Dined on Chicken Milanese served with pasta (very spicy, but oh so tasty) along with the Zucchini noodles with mushroom, onions and pepper, and a couple of Kale salads. Our family is mostly vegan so they were in heaven with such a variety on the menu. Great and speedy service, pleasant ambience, a place to return to soon.

We ate here once on our recent trip to New York. I had bruschetta to start which was delicious. My son had pizza for mains but this was very small for the price paid. My husband and I had pasta which was delicious. It is always reassuring eating in a restaurant which is 100% gluten and wheat free. I didn't have dessert but my husband had the cheesecake (I wasn't a fan) and my son had the brownie with peanut butter parfait and chocolate. OMG, that is the nicest thing I have tried in a long time! Service was good and pur waitress was really friendly. We may have went back again but at $122 we found it a tad pricey. Would recommend trying it though...especially for the dessert!
The best GF pizza!
By far the best GF pizza I've ever tasted! This place was hopping, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu was very diverse, with many gf choices. Definitely recommend this great spot!
