Dinner here - quick service we had mussels in a spicy vegetable broth a large serve with quite a bite. Then beef massaman curry, and chicken red curry with steamed rice ,both tasty and fresh. Washed down by frozen margarita- happy bellies.

We had the set meal when we came here and, honestly, it filled us up and it was very reasonably priced. When I say set meal, it is very loosely a set meal as you can choose pretty much any main on the menu, it's just the side dishes where you are restricted. This was an ideal pick to visit before taking in a show on Broadway - perfectly situated and the portions keep you full throughout the performance.

My partner and I were in town on holiday and stumbled across the restaurant during a hunger pang. It was busy which was what caught our eyes first, a good sign! After some reshuffling of tables, we were sat quickly and offered water. We choose a (very) spicy green Thai curry with rice. It was popping hot and fresh. Like most restaurants in the neighbourhood, they are not great value but it was also a weekend. The decors nothing specials but the staff were attentive and the toilets were clean!

Nice place and atmosphere. Good service as Thai tradition is, however, in spite of the promising menu, the food I tried was below expectations. The shrimp mango salad was full of too much onion, the shrimp were too fried on the grill and smell like burnt and the mango was not ready to eat- too green and sour. The dumplings were ok.

It was the a very good Thai restaurant We wear 2 percent me and my k14 year old kid The food was grate The Thai Beer was also great

If you want fast food on the table this is the place with lesser wait time. The food was ok. I had the crab rice and the spring rolls. Four Spring rolls were too small for me. For the price I was expecting a little more. There is a bar with a good selection of drinks. Staff were nice and attentive. No recommendations for drinks as we didn't order any alcoholic beverages.

We were advised to try 9th Ave for food before our Broadway Show and luckily spotted a 5 course prix fixe menu displayed outside this small but smart looking Thai eatery. The deal was $20.95pp for 1) A choice of soup 2) Vegetarian spring roll or dumplings 3) Thai salad 4) A main from a good list of choices where you could add meat such as Chicken/Pork/Beef or Lamb this came with Jasmine rice and 5) an ice cram or crème brulee desert. All courses were fresh and tasty with the portion sizes being just right! Would recommend and visit again: please beware we paid by card and they add the tip automatically on your bill so watch out you don't leave double by mistake.

Great food. Servings adequate. Great presentation. Delicious! We had to wait approximately half an hour to get a table but it was worth it.

Staff were pleasant and the food was tasty although small portions. We ordered the five course set menu which felt kind of rushed. The starter and soup arrived together and before this was finished, the main course was delivered. The salad which was advertised as one of the courses, was actually a garnish to the starter, which was very insubstantial. Surrounding were typical of a mid priced eatery in New York. We paid $120 for three of us including one small bottle of beer.

This modest storefront place rates above many of its competitors on ethnic oriented 9th Avenue. It is standard East Asian with rice the main source of calories. But the Pad Krow Pow with ginger, onions, peppers, some other ingredients and some seafood, made a tasty lunch or light dinner. The seafood portion was small and I'm sure came frozen from Asia, so not the same as fresh. My wife, a big aficionado of Thai, rated it above average. It is modestly priced. Service was good.

Came across this little gem by chance on 9th Ave, great fresh food at a very reasonable price, beats anything on Times Square hands down! Great atmosphere, fast friendly service, strongly recommend.

We ate here with a New York friend after a Broadway show . staff was accommodating and efficient. Many great food choices , all pictured on the menu . Really good food.

I was referred to this place by a friend who resides in the area. I was very happy with all aspects of the business. It was busy when we arrived; however, the wait was short. Our server was very prompt and friendly. There is a wide variety of options available and I found the prices to be very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food, the portion size, and the speed of service. The place was quaint and clean. It was the perfect place to stop prior to a show on Broadway. Great food, great prices, fast, efficient service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I personally had the Green Curry which had a nice spice to it without being overpowering. My guest had shrimp Pad Thai and was pleased with her meal.

My guest had the Massaman curry with Tofu on brown rice. I had the Pineapple curry. The Massaman was definitely better, with the flavor permeating the dish. Mine seemed a bit weak in flavor.

If you are looking for an authentic Thai restaurant then this is the one for you. An extensive menu full of delicious options. Ice cold Thai beer. Delicious food and very friendly service.

We found this nice little Thai restaurant late at night after the Opera at the Met. The staff were accommodating and polite, the food was superb (King Chicken, Green Chicken Curry, various starters) and the prices were very rare reasonable, especially for a restaurant around the corner from restaurant row. Excellent. Recommended.

Nice Thai restaurant. The pad thai and salads were good. Service was quick and efficient. You can sit outside if you want they have a couple of tables.

We visited the popular Yum Yum Too on our NY trip, hungry for some delicious Thai food. The restaurant is centrally located in a charming row of houses from the last century, with lots of small restaurants. When we visited in the run-up to Christmas, it was soberly decorated, but well attended. After a friendly greeting, we were given a small table in a corner. We had barely sat down when a grumpy waiter appeared and took our order in a hurry - without a smile and with no empathy for hospitality. But what the heck; when you're very hungry, you can forgive the waiter for a bad day, right?! The table was as sober as the restaurant. The white table linen is protected with white paper as standard. As we soon discovered, rightly so. A few minutes later, the starter arrived. Our waiter placed the salad and soup in front of us without a word - of course with the same stony expression as when we placed our orders. The chef made a lot of mess when serving the soup, but that's probably why there was paper on the table... It was still tasty. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the starter before our quick waiter rushed over with the main course. If the soft drinks we ordered had at least been on the table by then, the rush could have been explained by later table reservations. But as this wasn't the case, we dismissed the experience with a sigh. What the heck, we were well supplied with unordered table water on the table... On to the main course: red curry with chicken. Deliciously spicy with some vegetables and rice, beautifully presented and in good quantity. Great! After this delicious main course, we would have liked to have chatted a little more and perhaps taken a look at the dessert menu. But that didn't happen; our "Speedy Gonzales waiter" was faster and slammed the bill on the table without being asked. Well, let's take the poor man out of the rush, pay and leave. First, let's take a look at the bill; everything we had consumed was on it and a little more: we were charged a 15% tip for the lousy service. Well then, "Cheers!"

Appetizer Duck Rolls delicious, Pad Thi, Fried Rice, Soup, made for a nice dinner for two adults and a child. Service was good and food portions a nice size for family style. Restaurant became busy and loud. Service was good.

Good Thai food. Everything we had was delicious: Kua Kai Khi Mao Talay. Crab Cakes Coconut Fritter Ribs Gratiam Thai Dumplings. The Singha beer is good also. Service was quick, waitstaff friendly and professional. Price was reasonable.

Very good service. Great food. Excellent value. Awesome selection of vegetarian items, including mock duck. They have a prix fixe dinner the is awesome at 20 bucks. Personally I did not care for the drunken noodle dishes, but we plan to eat here again when back in NYC to try some of their other offerings.

We ate here during a trip with family in USA. The food was very good and the price was fair. The food was spicy, but not too much. It was really a pleasant evening in a unique context like New York

My mom and I went there 3 times during our week in NY. We enjoyed the green curry but as well other great dishes. During our 3rd visit the waitress recognized us and we got deserts on the house. What a nice gesture. Thanks. We will be back if we ever back in NY.

Stop in for a world class tropical drink at the bar, and maybe stay for dinner. A short walk from the theatre district. Highlights include the lychitini (technically not on the menu, but they can make any drink on the yum yum menu), passionfruit margaritas, and the SAB (sexy Asian bartender). It's always happy hour at the bar, and they have some outdoor seating, too. Yum!

While visiting with friends we went to Yum Yum Too for some Thai food. It was some of the best Thai food I have had in a long time. I highly recommend the Duck......

They are pretty much all n a row. They serve Thai food and it tasted good. Good selection of alcohol as well. I had the stir fry in differing ways and it was consistently good. Can sit, eat and watch the people of NY walk by.

On the recommendation of the Belvedere doorman, this nearby restaurant provided a bistro atmosphere with excellent Thai cuisine. The food was served by efficient staff. I noticed that the chicken in my dishes was real as opposed to the processed chicken meat I have eaten in other restaurants with similar menus. I really liked the warm atmosphere and the busy avenue outside. I felt like I found a warm spot to eat a delicious meal while the cold March winds and rain blew outside.

Such a great deal for lunch we come every time we visit NY Great service and great food . We always meet great people there too

Worked up an appetite after the hanging out in the city with my bae who is also an extremely picky eater we decided to give Yum Yum Too a try. Good decision, we ordered shrimp pad thai and crab fried rice both of which was delicious and satisfying. We dined outside - seating is close not much space to maneuver. Nonetheless not a bad place to dine - I would return and recommend.

We had 2 starters and 3 mains for two adults and one child and didn't manage to eat our way through it, plenty of food if your a big eater i thing next we would just have three starters and one main for reasons i will explain. The starters were extremely tasty and enough pieces for the 3 of us to have 2 each, the mains were a bit of a cross in fusion food between Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese which was hot but tempered by by palm sugar which wasn't to my pallet as i prefer hot spicy foods. but that said i did enjoy the meal, the surroundings and the extremely efficient service by the waitresses. A very enjoyable experience at a a more than reasonable price a two course meal for 3 with beers for less than $65.00 including tip is a steal in New York i would recommend all visitors to look out for this name as there are a few of them dotted around NY, just ask for the food to be spicyer if you like it that way

Yum Yum Too offers a nice ambiance and its Pre-Fix menu is delicious and at a great price! Highly recommend.

You can't beat Yum Yum for great Thai food at great price near the theaters. You can count on very good food , low prices and great service. I've been coming here for years and will continue to.

What a great discovery! Great Sangria, wonderful service and fantastic food to top it of. Green curry so good I wanted to lick the bowl, chicken and noodes equally as good. A must visit if you can get a seat.

The three of us had the prixe fixed lunch . I had a tasty noodle chicken dish, served with a nice green salad with a tasty peanut dressing, tofu vegetable soup and coconut ice cream for dessert. The entree was enough for two; I had the rest the next day. What I liked most about the food was the fact that it was NOT salty and I did not come home having to drink gallons of water. The restaurant was small, somewhat crowded, but comfortable.

Would highly recommend food was really nice and plenty of it 😍we would definitely go back again ant the staff we very polite and friendly

We had high hopes for this restaurant and the menu looked great but overall it was disappointing. Most of our group were talked out of ordering certain meals because the serving staff thought we'd find them too spicy. Quite the opposite. I ended up with a fairly bland meal because of that so something got lost in translation. It was a shame because I probably would have really enjoyed the 'spicier ' dishes. Service was friendly enough but overall the experience was just so so.

We went to this restaurant as a mistake, after our planes for some steaks backfired in this neighborhood. Nevertheless, everyone loves Thai. And we still do, this place just wasn’t memorable. The staff is ok and the restaurant moderately spacious, but the food is really disappointing. I mean, where’s the spice? We had crispy duck and Thai fried rice, but it was all very bland. We paid for three persons about $96 including cocktails (1 per person), all of which better than the food. I wouldn’t return to this place, so i can’t really recommend it.

We went here based on reviews & we wished we hadn't. We have always been made to feel so welcome by the people of New York and we were so surprised and disappointed in our experience and yum yum too. I'm not sure if the 2 are related, but on previous visits we had been to Yum Yum Bangkok and never experienced anything like this. We had my mum and a friend with us so it was extremely disappointing from their point of view as it was their first time in the city and had heard nothing but good things from us... We were made to feel like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived until we left. There was a rice missing from our order and when my husband questioned it, the server gave him attitude and reluctantly brought us one out afterwards. He and the 2 girls stood at the bar and stared at us for the whole meal. It was awful. Never the less, we asked them to remove the tip and they were extremely abrupt with us and made us feel even worse. Never would I ever re-visit this place. I am so regretful that we had to endure this and I feel it was a waste of an evening in the city!

Delicious food! Had two entrees, a curry with chicken and a chicken with peanut sauce. Shared with three people, full, no need for more. I see why yum yum is in the name of the restaurant. Delicious!

This was our second trip here and we were not disappointed. We stopped in after seeing and off-Broadway show prior to seeing a Broadway show. The advertised prix fixe special brought us in and well worth it, $24.95 for a five course meal, although there also was a Prix Fixe 2 for $32.95, almost the same menu, but with shrimp additions added. We did a comparison shopping first along Restaurant Row and found this to be the best deal. We both started off with the Tom Yum Goong soup which was a spicy lemongrass soup. Good, but very spicy. Next was a Thai Garden Salad with a peanut dressing, surprisingly very good. I had the Original Spring Roll and my husband had the Vegetable Dumpling. We shared them and although we both liked the Vegetable Dumpling, the Spring Roll was better, nice and crispy. Plenty entrees to choose from. I had the Jungle Curry with chicken as my choice, and plenty of veggies, spicy, but delicious with white rice. Brown rice was also a choice which I thought I had requested, but the white was fine, cooked to perfection. My husband had Drunken Noodle which comes with noodles so no choice of rice, with basil and plenty of vegetables. For dessert, I chose Green Tea Ice Cream which was delicious and my husband had Creme Brulee, small, but good. In general, hearty portions, not leaving hungry at all. Would visit again, cozy and intimate although tight and probably not a good choice for those with wheelchairs.

The food is so good we had to visit it twice!! The special is what we each decided on which gets you a soup, salad, dumplings, main course and desert for $22.95. Enjoy! We did! 😀

Really great dining. Among all the crap restauants in New York there are some decent ones. Just go to Hells Kitchen. Most of them seem to be there. Yum YUm Too is one of these and the food and service was impressive. We were lucky to walk straight in around 7pm and got a tanble immediately. They turned away hoards of other wannabee diners over the next 90 minutes. Not sure if they take bookings but if you like authentic Thai food drop in here.

Disgusting, never coming back. Be aware that after you go there you will be broke, the tip is as expensive as the food I ordered. The tip was mandatory and I couldn’t chose the amount I wanted. The service was okay but nothing crazy. 👎👎👎

Excellent food options and portions. Felt like I was back in Thailand, very authentic and pleasant ambiance.

This was our second visit here. Well priced lunch with 3 courses and nice sized entree. Food was tasty and fresh. Quick, friendly service.

They Have 3 different locations right next to each other!!! We got the prizfixe and it was all very good service was good and friendly also!! 5 course prixfixe $22 get a taste os everything!!

My grandparents were very satisfied with the delicious meal! We stopped in quite late into the evening after a boat tour and were not disappointed. The service was extremely fast and the air conditioning provided a nice escape from the extreme heat outside. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the green curry! My grandparents loved all the fried rices.

Great food, not too expensive, try to catch happy hour! We stopped in on our way back after an off-broadway show, in need of a bite and a few drinks - this place did not disappoint!!

Came here after a show, really liked it. Drinks were good, curry was good, the ribs on the appetizer menu were excellent

Highly recommend! We were staying right down the street in the RIU hotel and didn’t try this place until the day before we left. Big regret. VERY good!!

I like the price fix menu. $20.00 for appetizer, salad, entree, & desert. Food is good. Service just ok. Staff not very friendly. I eat here almost every time I visit NYC.

Drunken noodles was so delicious. My friend loved her duck salad. A real find close to off Broadway shows

A lot of selection on their menu -- we had the Pad Thai with chicken. It was lots of noodles and a few pieces of chicken. Tasty but nothing special. Service was prompt. They were interested in you leaving as quickly as possible.

We go to this place once each month and the meal and staff are always great! We had the duck soup, steamed Thai dumplings, curry chicken skewers and everything was so delicious! Loved it!

Not ONCE were we asked, "can we get you anything"... the food is OK, and you don't have to put up lousy, inexpensive service in exchange... The place was very cramped... when I asked if we could move to a different table, we were told 'no'... when we offered to walk away, they said, 'Oh, thats ok, you can sit here".

This is a very popular restaurant and it seems normal that a wait for a table can be expected. The thai fish cakes are excellent but the stir fry with holy basil is quite bland and can be improved on with a little effort from the chef. Service started off well but disintegrated quickly. It does get incredibly noisy.

There are three of these cafés. They offer good value fast food with very reasonable prices for this party of the city. Not the best Thai food we've ever had but given its location not bad value.

A nice find downtown NY. Good quality Thai restaurant, attentive staff, maybe a bit too quick on service, but an enjoyable atmosphere and very tasty dishes; chicken Pad Thai and Duck Tamarind were delicious.

What a great place for Thai food! Modern interior, great location and friendly service are offered, but what really counts in an restaurant, is the food. And they have it. The starters where just fine, but our main courses nailed it. First you decide, wether you want, for example, a curry dish or a sautéed one, than it is your choice of meat or tofu or chicken etc and then you decide, wether you want green or red or etc curry...a great idea and everything was well prepared, with wonderful spices and very tasty. We will be back for sure!

Had one of the best lunches ever in New York without spending a fortune. Great lunch specials and the food was excellent. Everybody in our party agrees. Very convenient to Broadway show and service was very efficient.

A big menu and nice Thai food, served in a friendly way. We had had drinks at lunch to check the place out and were not disappointed by the food.

I received a bad service at this place Visited for the first time and the waiter embarrassed me when I made payment, in front of other guests, he dumped my cash on the table and raised his voice saying the payment is not complete, saying tip is missing. I think there should be a better way to go around that, than making me feel bad in front of people, I added a tip and left

Excellent chicken pad Thai and spring rolls. They also had great happy hour drink specials. The service was good and fast...they were very attentive.

My son just loves this place and so we had to go. Food was great, I had the pineapple rice with chicken. And the waitress was nice even though she forgot my drink. She was very apologetic (hehe). My son had found his spot for Asian food.

I have eaten here a few times with friends and we always love it each time. I come with different people and we still like the food and cocktails. Also, it is open till late so we can pop in right after a show. Good value for our money too. I will be back lol.

Restaurant that does not pay from outside Minimum but attentive service The dishes are very good and hearty Great location

While the service is quite good, the food is average. The coconut soup was watery and lacked flavor and the dumplings were bland. The chicken curry dish I had was prepared with medium spice as requested and was ok. There are better Thai restaurant around.

Typical for this part of NY, great service, very comfortable welcoming, excellent food snd drinks, fine possibilities of choice of coctails. Awesome balance value for money!

I was able to get a table without a wait and ordered from the prix fixe menu. It sounds like a lot but the portions are modest and, in my opinion, just right. The food came out very quickly with soup first (I had the chicken/coconut which was delicious) and then a small salad and dumplings came together on one plate. For my entree I had the green curry with tofu and it was delicious - very fresh and spicy. The dessert was a tiny but perfect serving of flan. Also had a wonderful Thai Sangria with it - highly recommended. I think the final bill was $38 with tip. All told I felt like the meal lasted 20 minutes - fine by me. I left quickly so they could turn the table over as it was moving into the dinner hour and the place is small and popular. A great value and you will not leave hungry.

Walked a couple blocks to Yum Yum after Broadway show. One word: DELICIOUS!! We ordered three different dishes and all were tasty, hot and made with quality ingredients. The pad see ew was great! So also enjoyed spring rolls and yellow curry. Highly Recommend!!

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was amazing. We had the spring rolls to start and Penang chicken and sweet and sour duck for main everything was lovely. I'm a big fan of Thai food and this was exceptionally tasty. Such good price for the food we received. Much better priced than most of the other restaurants in the area. Will be recommending.

We were vacationing in New York City and rushing to go to the theater. We had to stop somewhere quick for dinner and passed by this restaurant. We love Thai food so we decided to give it a chance. What a find! It’s a tiny little place with delicious food and fast service. Try it. You’ll be happy you did.

My wife and I went after theater on Friday. We both had the shrimp with green curry. We also had a papaya salad and cocktails. It was a very good meal and very reasonably priced. The cocktails, which were delicious, were only $8 each.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. Several of my friends scoff and put th I noses up but I find the cuisine consistent, tasty and it won’t break your budget. The location is perfect for pre and post theatre and it’s not a tourist trap. The decor is simple with glass windows to people watch from 9th Avenue to Resturant Row. I stop in for a few appetizers and a cocktail at least once a month. It’s convenient. They offer the traditional sautéed section with your choice of beef, chicken, vegetable or tofu. The Tum Yum Goon soup is amazing — spicy with shrimp, lemongrass and mushroom. Perfect for cooler days and winter. I prefer the chicken satay with a peanut or vinaigrette dipping sauce. You get 4 skewers. I also enjoy the shrimp summer roll made with shrimp, mint, carrot wrapped in a soft rice paper and served with peanut tamerin sauce. I’ve known the staff here for many years. Unfortunately some have moved on but Gigi is still there. If you want a quick Thai lunch or dinner in midtown, this is my recommendation.

We visited NYC with friend and there kids. We stopped at Yum Yum passing by. The place is small and quaint. The staff was amazing and accommodating for our combined 4 young children. Great food at amazing prices for Manhattan. Overall the experience at this small restaurant was excellent. Great location.

We know Thai cuisine well, and we ate really well. Proper portions, authentic flavors. Note that it is open late so it allowed us to have dinner after the Broadway show. The only negative note: they made us pay the bill directly in euros without asking for anything, instead of in local currency, with obvious mark-ups by the bank. Be careful with this particular

Our peddy cab recommended this place. We spent the least amount of money on a lunch the entire time we were in NY and the food was excellent.

Food has no real taste to it. I have been to Thailand many times and this was not Thai food. Service is not good. They nearly throw it on the table without any interaction. Tables very close together. To top it all off they insist on a very high tip. No choice, you have to pay what they say. The staff spoilt a night out with there attitude.

We arrived quite late in the evening into New York and this Thai restaurant was a 10 minute walk from our hotel. We were exhausted after. Along trip from Australia & wanted some yummy food. The food here was amazing, starters were fantastic & the curried were amazing. Service was ok for a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend a visit to this place of you appreciate tasty Thai food.

We just arrived and our former student who is NYC based took us to eat here. I was informed that there are two branches and we took the more famous one. The place is so small and so we had to wait a few minutes before we got a table. There was no waiting place and it was so cold to wait outside so we were standing near the door. The place was quiet enough to hear our conversations. The food was good; it's on the midrange in terms of price but for the servings and location, it was reasonable. Overall, we were pleased by this choice as our first dinner during our Christmas holiday. This place is highly recommended.

Decent food and service, nothing more. Be careful, they impose a tip and don't give you the choice of the amount, even if you question it... you feel cheated... Never again too bad 👎👎👎

Eaten here on a previous trip so thought we'd give it another go and it didn't disappoint.very hungry after our flight it was late evening and the food we ordered definitely hit the spot. There was only a few tables taken so our order of food and drinks came quickly . Very reasonable and would recommend.

Very nice little place to have lunch / dinner. We did not have reservation for wednesday evening dinner but waited only 10 min to be seated. Very friendly staff. Great pad thai.

We kept it simple and started with the coconut shrimp...the sauce was incredible, pineapple and shrimp fried rice I loved, and we ended with a triple creme brulee......If ever in the city you must have lunch/dinner here.

Great restaurant attentive staff and very tasty food and wine at great prices. I have been to NYC a few times over the years and each time this restaurant is on the list of great eateries. Staff very welcoming too.

We came to this place super hungry after a flight, so we really liked the fast serving of the food, even though the place was packed. We recommend the Papaya Salad, and obviously the Pad Thai.

Wonderful menu, we opted for the prixfixe options. Five courses for $29 or $35 (April 2024). I had Tom yum soup, curry puffs, salad, emperor duck, and coconut ice cream. Excellent. The place is very busy, they turn tables fast. Food comes fast, hot, and delicious. We’ve been in the states for 3 and a half weeks and this is the first place with actual flavour. Would be keen to visit again.

This is a bustling place with lots of energy. The menu is pretty extensive with traditional and some creative offerings. We had corn fritters and beef snack for apps, both excellent and a great combination and I had a spicy yellow curry. So delicious! We also had the house sangria, which was really good--came with a liche nut. We had a terrific visit and will be back.

This restaurant has a corner space so there is lots of glass and light. My wife and I shared the $22.95 prix fix with lemongrass soup (spicy), spring rolls (crispy), drunken noodles with pork (delicious) and creme brulee. It was a fine meal, enough for two to share although not fully filling for two. Pleasant service, no complaints. I was here a few years afo and enjoyed it then too.

Kitchen was about to close even thou it says on the nett that it wasn't closing before 1:45 am, so we had to make fast order. The food was tasty but a bit dry. Wouldn't go back for a late snack. Maybe lunch..

We walked down the street from our hotel and enjoyed a tasty dinner here. Great selection of veggie dishes ,so suitable for hubby, I had prawns which were a bit tough but tasty. Great service and good value.

I went with my son who lives in the city. Great little place with great drink specials and awesome pad thai noodles.

Excellent Thai cuisine, adorable interior and very friendly staff. The food was the best Thai I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant is very clean and the service was excellent. I had the tom yun goong and the duck salad (picture attached). Highly recommend!

We go here every time we visit the city . The food is always fresh and the lunch specials are the best value in the whole of the city .

Looking for a great, inexpensive Thai restaurant - this is it. Each time we're in Ny we eat at Yum Yum or Yum Yum too. The food is delicious, service is perfect. The restaurant is in a quieter area of Manhattan. Perfect for dinner before seeing an off Broadway play at New World Stages. Also, worth going just for the food.

In the Hell's Kitchen neighborough, we ate a seafood fried rice which was humid, fragrant and tasty.

We were here years ago when our meal had bland sauces and dried out dumplings. Recently we came back and found that things had changed. The room itself is pretty with nice lighting fixtures. A full bar has been added. And the food is better than before. The soups, Tom Kha Kai (chicken, coconut milk, and mushroom) and Tom Yum (lemongrass, mushroom and just one shrimp) could have been spicier but were okay. A chive cake, vegetable dumplings, and fried tofu were tasty appetizers. Penang curry was thick and creamy with a profusion of vegetables including a large slice of pumpkin. The Pad Thai with fried rice noodles could have had more ingredients but was nicely spiced and plentiful. The service was efficient and helpful, but check the bill. We were overcharged. With about thirty other Thai places in close proximity, we will be trying others before coming back.

We are big Thai fans and this did not disappoint. Very good food and very good service. Also a nice cosy atmosphere.

I stopped in and placed a to go order during lunch hours. I waited at the bar for my order as I was instructed to do so. Minutes later, I noticed a bagged to go order sat on the bar for a while untouched. The servers looked at it, but because they did not give me the order, I assumed it was for someone else. After about 15 minutes of the order sitting on the bar, one of the servers finally grabs the bag and hands it to me. My response was, “Thanks, but this order has been sitting there for a while now. Why am I just now receiving it?” The server immediately became hostile and replied in a rude manner, “That’s because we’re busy!” I was completely shocked because one would expect at the very least, “Sorry for your wait.” I immediately asked for her name because I wanted to speak with a manager about her attitude. She looked at me, rolled her eyes and walked away. I went to another server, a male, and explained what happened. The male server was immediately apologetic. He told me it was their fault that they over-looked the order because they got busy, which I completely understand and have compassion for. That’s literally all I was looking for… a simple sorry for the mistake. But instead, the first server, AMY, caught an attitude with me. I eventually got her name because the gentleman whom I spoke to gave it to me. Amy’s attitude was a complete turn off!

Whoever says eating a meal in NYC is expensive has never tried this restaurant. For under $10.00 at lunch you can get soup and salad or a different appetizer and an entree. The food is delicious--best Thai food I've eaten. The wait staff is so friendly and remembers you and greets you with a smile. You can look out on busy 9th Ave and see the hustle and bustle of NYC while you enjoy your meal. What could be better.

The concierge of my hotel suggested the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp rice wrap rolls. They were tough and chewy. For the entree I ordered the Pad Se-Ew flat noodles with egg and Chinese broccoli with tofu. The flavor was ok, noodles were cooked perfectly, barely any Chinese broccoli and egg. I asked for soft tofu and received firm tofu, was not flavored with the dish. The couple sitting next to me told me they’d been going there for 20 years and it was their favorite. I ordered the green tea ice cream very bitter. Very disappointed.

We have just visited this restaurant. Beautiful fresh tasty food . We had the set menu for $21 dollars for 5 courses. Which I think is a very good price. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars and not 5 is that it went very fast. It seemed they wanted us in and out as soon as possible. We had just started our starters and then the main course came too!!! Or is this just an American thing? But I would definitely go there again

My daughter and I had been busy travelling and sightseeing all day. We arrived at yum yum too practically famished. We both had the four course price fixe. Absolutely scrumptious! There was so much too! All of seasons were perfect, the staff is so sweet, and attentive. We highly recommend this establishment.

We randomly tried several restaurants during our 4-day vacation in NYC. My entire family agrees that this was our best meal in the city!

It’s a very comfy and homey atmosphere. It’s on the corner and looked good. I had a drink called the Big Apple that was delicious. For dinner I had drunken noodles and they were cold, the chicken was hot on top of the noodles and it looked more like chicken shavings not chicken pieces. It really didn’t have much taste. My cousin had the Thai fried rice and she ate it but didn’t rave about it. We skipped dessert.

We tried Yum Yum Too after watching Avenue Q earlier this week. Even at 10:30 at night the restaurant was bustling. We were greeted as we came in and escorted to a table in the corner. The atmosphere is warm, lots of red and wood. The staff were all young and gorgeous. Pleasant when interacting with us, it did feel a little like we were imposing on them when requesting the check and getting the bill. We ordered the beef snack, a Tom Yum soup off the special menu and a noodle dish with sriracha. The beef snack was delicious. Bite sized pieces of beef served on a paddy of sticky-rice with a sweet chili dipping sauce. I was a little confused by the special menu since the Tom Yum indicated it came w/two options (appetizer, salad, soda, or soup) and yet the waitress didn't ask me which I wanted. When it was delivered it was just the soup and when the bill came it was substantially more than the menu indicated. The flavors in the soup were spot-on. However, I really did not care for the choice of noodles. Very soft and dense it was more of a mash and reminded me of grits while eating it. The noodles w/the sriracha were much better. Great flavors and textures. I liked the ambiance at Yum Yum Too and some of the food was amazing. But I felt like the menu, one of the dishes, and the service could use a little improvement.

Pad Thai and tom kha gai soup were delicious. Ambience is romantic. We would visit again. Wait staff was quick and attentive.

Food was quite good, little different from the usual asian places - adding automated service charge for a party of two - would like to decide on that myself.

Warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is definitely fantastic. Reasonable prices and the daily special is a must have too. Will come again for sure.

Great place, good service. This restaurant is on “restaurant row” which is much quieter, off the main roads. We had a fabulous dinner, best dishes were beef snacks starter and chicken Rama main.

Surprisingly great fare here at this Thai restaurant. Young efficient staff brought our orders quickly. Clean and comfy tables, but the food was very good. I'd recommend it to any traveller. Price and quality was great. Do it. Especially if Aussie tourist

Stopped in for the lunch special: any two appetizers, Soup, soda plus entree. A great deal at $8.95 to $13.95 depend on choice of meat. Generous portions and so good. Show : - Drunken noodle with pork - Pineapple fried rice with mixed seafood

Good food- very fresh and no wait. Spring Rolls were delish and staff was pleasant . Restaurant was clean and bathrooms were as well.

We came across this restaurant when searching for places to eat. It doesn’t look much from the outside and it was very busy inside but they managed to find us seats. So glad we came here, the food was divine. Really authentic and generous portions. We ordered the crab friend rice, shrimp tom yum friend rice, chicken satay and duck rolls. It was our favourite meal of the whole trip to NY. Not too expensive and friendly, helpful staff.

The experience was just okay. I was walking down restaurant row and wanted to try something new. The restaurant experience was great, but I was not impressed with the food. The crab cakes tasted like a breaded mess and the salmon was cooked, but had not flavor. The only thing right was the steamed vegetables and white rice. It’s a great place for order accuracy, but lacked food flavor.

Great little find in Hells Kitchen. Slightly cramped and very busy which is always a good sign. Not really a relaxing place to eat but it's full of life and vibe. There was a queue to get in which intrigued us, the turnover of the couverts are quick. The food is amazing and fresh but don't expect to stay long and to be honest it's good for a quick bite and a bottle of beer. It's not a classic dinner venue. Would go back though, maybe for lunch instead of dinner.

We came to yum yum too by an accident, but this was the best surprise in the trip! Great service and really great food. Go there and enjoy!

Wonderful food choices. Everything was tempting. It was a fine food experience, with excellent smiling service.

Really good Thai food. Fast, friendly service. Love their duck salad and pad thai. Also we tried their Chicken penang curry and Pork in tamarind sauce...delicious! Will be back next time we are in the area.

Great food and service although somewhat expensive. Although busy there was no waiting. Portions are small but appropriate for a lunch menu

Came for my birthday as had a previous excellent experience- not this time. Food ok, waitress needed a lesson in customer service skills and clearly visible dirty with food debris tablecloths that had a paper put over top- why they couldn’t just remove and replace beats me. Owner got hostile when I stated I didn’t want to pay the service tip as I didn’t feel they deserved the amount they added stating it’s customary- doubt it’s that when it’s bad service!! Won’t be returning and I would advise people to avoid.

The prices are great for NYC and the food is excellent. We had a group of 16 and we still were accommodated and received our food fairly quickly. Many choices and the wait staff was very friendly. It's so convenient for a meal either before or after seeing a show!

Yum yum too is our go to place for dinner when we go to the theater in NYC. $20.95 for 5 course fixed price. I always vote for a curry dish without all the courses. Wait staff is incredibly efficient focused on making sure you get food with a limited wait time. Not particularly romantic, but consistently reliable delicious Thai food!!!!!

Yum yum too is absolutely delicious Thai food! The service is so warm and welcoming! The spring rolls, the soups, curry and Pad Thai are excellent! This place is Our favorite Thai restaurant in NYC! They have a full bar and the make great cosmopolitans!

We love to eat lunch or dinner here and always include at least one stop when we come to visit NYC! We always have great dishes, appetizers and cocktails - all are delicious and prices are reasonable. We tried several cocktails this time and had spring rolls and dumplings for appetizers, drunken noodles, pad thai and pineapple fried rice. They accommodated my friends special request for more spice level in her food as well.

Super tasty food. We had the tamarind chicken and drunken noodles with beef. Both were absolutely delicious. Good service too.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in the entire city! We had a great experience and wonderful food. The ambiance is really nice as well. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Basically, this place saved us. We were walking for what felt like an eternity. We were coming back to our hotel after watching Aladdin at Broadway. It was almost 10 pm and it was raining and with every step, our shoes were getting wet. It was cold, and so as our souls. I had a headache since I hadn't eaten anything since 1 pm (unless you count half of the mini pretzels bags we got at Aladdin for $4). It was our last night in NY and we were looking for a Thai restaurant. We found one in google and headed there. Once we arrived they told us they were about to close so they were only doing take-outs. It was demoralizing, our last night and there we were, all wet from the rain and without food in our system. We wanted to sit down in a comfortable, warm place but the city was about to go to sleep. Or so we thought... We continue our path after that Thai restaurant didn't allow us, we took just few steps and then we saw it. Right there, so cozy and nice. It was calling us. "THAI COOKING YUM YUM TOO" could be read from where we were. That was it. It was destiny. So we check out the menu, of course, because, as Mexicans, dollars can be terrifying. It was ok. Not cheap, not too expensive. It was our last night so what the hell... we entered. We asked if we could sit and eat, not just take-outs, a really kind and friendly waiter nodded and welcomed us. He showed us to our table and to paradise. We order one package of the "Prix fixe" menú. It was around 25 dollars but you could get one soup, salad, appetizers, main course, and dessert. We order that one so we could try a lot of stuff from the restaurant. The main course we choose was curry. We also ordered noodles. I really wanted noodles. And we just drank water (since I am pretty sure I was dehydrated from all the walking and no water I did that day). Everything, no, let me say it again... EVERYTHINGGGGG WAS SO DAMN GOOOOOOOOOOD. It was heaven. The whole experience at Yum Yum Too, from when we walked in, the amazing waiter and the delicious food was like a big hug from angels. Just what we needed. I want to go back to NY (who doesn't?), and when I do, one of the restaurants I would go to will definitely be Yum Yum Too.

We were looking for Thai food with outdoor seating and we're happy to see that yum yum too had a few tables outside. The service was good and the drunken noodles were delicious. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely return if I was looking for good Thai in Hells Kitchen. Yum!

3 of us ordered all different meals and each were wonderful. I had the shrimp mango salad and shrimp pad thai and it was delicious.

Enjoyed lunch with a friend recently. He enjoyed the salmon entree and I enjoyed a curry with chicken. Prices are very reasonable and service is quick and friendly.

We stopped in after spending a few hours touring The Intrepid aircraft carrier. I enjoyed a nice salad which had beef, onions and apple. It had a great tasting sauce on it. I also enjoyed the fried calamari. I only had water and my bill with tip was around $26. I recommend this place for quality food.

Everything was great until the bill arrived. Pleasant welcome and food was very tasty. When the bill came, I rounded things up with my tip to what I considered a sensible amount, that equates to around 11%. This was being generous in comparison to what I would pay in the UK as there had been nothing other than a pleasant service. I was then pretty much horrified to be told by the waiter that the tip I had left was not enough and I should pay at least 18% as was suggested on the receipt. Regardless of being in the USA, the UK or anywhere else on the planet, when did the size of the tip in recognition to the service provided get directed by the service staff involved??? I thought this was absolutely disgusting and clearly didn’t change my amount. It was quite fortunate that I didn’t change what I had put to zero!! If the waiting staff need to be paid more, then increase their salaries and increase the price of the food accordingly. Do not expect a hidden tax to be paid by the customer as the norm to allow prices to be kept lower than they should be. Real sour taste left with me and something that the tipping culture needs to address in general.

Ordered a green chicken curry, came quickly and was nice and spicy. Ate something crunchy - initially thought it was a piece of uncooked rise - it wasn’t, it was a piece of glass about a centimetre long! So don’t here choose one of the many Thai restaurants in the area. #unsafe

Te food was amazing AND so was te servise! It was fast AND tge food Wa sreally tasty. Te price its really good for te quality.

Weekday lunch - choice of main, appetizer, soup, salad or drink. 4 items to choose. Vegetarian choices are 8.50 with taxes. Prices are very much reasonable, but quantity and quality are alsi very good.

We went there before a show. got there before 6 and had a Happy hour cocktail. Also ate on the price fixxe menu and kept dinner for 3 under $100

Went out to find a restaurant in Hell's Kitchen on advice that restaurants here are less touristy with better food. Stumbled on this place - lovely atmosphere with fairy lights and a good mix of locals and visitors. We had cocktails that were $9 each - more reasonable than a lot of places and very nice. We shared spring rolls which were excellent and sharing them was enough of a starter, then I had chicken pad thai and my mum had vegetable Thai green curry. Both were lovely but the curry was super spicy! Would recommend it to a friend!

Very good Thai food in the neighborhood with great attentive service. They have lots of options in the menu and our party of three ordered very different plates and all were very tasty. They have good lunch deals, too. Definitely recommend and would go again. Their atmosphere is good too -- the restaurant had great music playing and just looked very tidy and clean.

We were trying to find something for the 2 hour break in Harry Potter. This turned out to be a great find. The food was excellent and the service was great. We had the spring rolls and salmon and all was really tasty. The drinks were generous and at happy hour prices. I would go back next time we go to the theater.

Cute place on corner of 9th & 46th. We were walking and stopped in because it was clean, well decorated, has an A rating and was open to outside with sidewalk tables. Vast menu with lots of choices (menu has photos) in all the restaurant categories. Wine beer and liquor with many speciality drinks

Yum Yum was truly yummy. But the tables are tiny, and almost on top of other diners. Service is quick, but you get the feeling they are rushing you out, you barely finish one plate when they swoop in and whisk it away for the next plate. Price fixe was a good deal. But with all the competition on Restaurant Row, don’t settle for Yum Yum. Better Thai down the block.

Please avoid this place, bad and rude service and the food nothing wow about it. The waitress very rude, we ask her what was good to order and her answer was “ I dont recommend because if you dont like it is not my problem.” And after that she left the table and never came back, and the hostess ended up taking our order. The food was cold and the dishes dirty. We order a beer and a bug was floating on top.

Went for evening meal, greeted with a warm welcome and service was great. The food was lovely and very tasty. The price is very reasonable for the area. Great find!!

Wish we'd found this place sooner while in NYC! Ate here 3 times! Beautiful fresh food, great, attentive service. Highly recommend if you're in New York staying in the theatre district. This place is awesome and open late! It's hard to find quality food in NYC that's open late and isn't the usual deep fried slop!

Great food and service! We ordered take away and the whole family was very happy with their choices.

I stumbled upon this place walking to the Intrepid Museum. On my way back to my hotel, I stopped for a late lunch. They had great lunch specials at reasonable prices. I was prompted seated at the bar and ordered vegetable spring rolls and pad thai with shrimp. Both were served promptly and they kept my water glass full. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Thai food.

Great food. Perfect price. Service was good even though they were busy. Just at the edge of restaurant row on 46 st. Small you might miss it but don’t.

Had been shopping most of day and rocked up at restaurant about 3 pm no problems to get a meal. Staff good, food was really tasty.

The food is great here. Such exotic flavors. The lemon grass soup is highly recommended. Really friendly staff and excellent service.

Relaxing place for lunch away from the theater district. The food is reasonably priced and delicious.

Quick table , Quick order , Quick drinks and good yummy food . Just returned from watching Aladdin and i thought i had a Genie at my service. .. The flavours were distinct and thats what i like about a good thai meal.

Perfect place before play. We stopped by and had a great Lycee Martini and Lychee lemonade and appetizers. Fast service and excellent quality. Good value for NYC. Nina is a fabulous bartender!

Enjoyed a very reasonably priced lunch here. Everything we ordered was really tasty. Would happily return.

On our way to a Mexican restaurant in the snow when we saw Yum Yum and decided to try it instead. Best decision ever! Off the beaten path away from the theatre crowds on 9th Ave. Atmosphere is nice, menu selection is large. Service is excellent! The Tom Yum soup was great and just spicy enough for me. The Pad Thai was delicious and spiced perfectly. I actually added some more spice with the extra spice our server brought to the table. Great place for thai that's reasonably priced and not touristy. We're so happy we chose this spot last minute!

Found this place just by walking 9th avenue. It looked vibrant so decided to try. So happy I did. Food and cocktails are amazing. I went back twice (two seperate days). The front of house are fantastic. They were so friendly and welcoming and took time out from their busy job to have chat and a laugh. Thank you 👍Trevor .... Ireland.

Was looking for good Thai and noticed how busy they were. We were seated right away but in front of the door so it was very cold every few minutes from opening and closing. That wasn’t a problem. I ordered tom kah soup and it was sweet. I know there’s coconut in it but this was sweet. Unfortunately my pad Thai was dry. There was no sauce or wetness to it at all. My friend had Green curry and white rice and she loved it. She also said the peanut salad dressing was the best she’s ever had. Service was quick and friendly. I wouldn’t go back though.

I was craving some Tom Yum soup and this was the right place to deal with my cravings. Great service, tasty food, but the best part was the vibes. The music selection was quirky and a bit off beat. I loved it. I heard at least three songs I love but haven't heard in a incredibly long. If you are going to go, make sure to carry your fun friends who like to sing along.

I had lunch with my son before my Broadway show here. It was busy and cozy place.I am so thankful for fast service because we had about 30 minutes before that show to eat and have a little chat. Food was good , especially soup I had. Me and my son both had good meal there. Only tables were very close to each other and there were no place to hang our coats and back of chair was small. It had lunch special pricing and was very afordable.Waitress was polite and smiled.

Great little find, good menu tasty food good price. Lots of local people eating hot plateful of food, good selection to choose from

The food was yum yum! We all loved our food, might be the best we had on our stay in New York. The restaurant was really busy and I can understand why, the food was great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the prawns in my meal was overcooked, but the overall taste was really good. I tasted some duck and it was mouth watering. I tried fried ice cream and it tasted better than I thought it would, but the portion was much bigger than I imagined. If you just want a taste of something sweet I recommend sharing a fried ice cream.

Visited the restaurant right before a Broadway show. The food was excellent and the service was good. The food also came out fast. I will definitely visit again.

Absolutely fantastic! words cannot describe the service and food here just go and experience, i know i will be back next time in New York.

I went alone and sitted at the bar. Tried a Pad Thai whit Shrimps and a glass of wine. The food was delicious and the service was great. Really charming place and price was amazing. Will come again in my next visit.
Post Broadway Show Dinner
Excellent place to have dinner after your Broadway show. Delicious food choices and nice serving. Reasonably priced menu selection. Friendly staff!
