Omg. The noise of the “music”

By Cheryl A |

Omg. The noise of the “music” was painful. Couldn’t have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Loud drumming music- why not soothing Asian background music? The prices were ridiculous for the size of the portions. They serve “from different kitchens” which means, don’t expect everyone’s meals to come out together. Instead, share “plates” so that for 50$ you get 10 bites of a food to share with everyone at the table- which might have been ok if you could converse with the people at the table. The food was delicious, but the experience was unpleasant.

Refreshingly Good

Trendy asian-themed restaurant with real bbq wood grill indoors. Exceptional service, inviting decor, and delicious food...try the lamb chops...YUM

Excellant!1

By Goutam |

What an experience! It's located in Cosmopolitan Hotel with beautiful strip view from one end. Tried some of the best Japanese cuisine in Vegas with finest Sake. But, it's very expensive!

Delicious

By Randy F |

A nice experience. Small plates of Asian cuisine. Sushi was excellent, spicy beef, sea bass, tempura vegetables all good.

Expensive, but the selection and quantity will leave you satisfied and full

By Troy H |

Sushi restaurants are always tricky unless you are a sushi chef. Its expensive, but recommend the Omasake. It is a continuous flow of small dishes across your table. I can't begin to name them all, but there was around 10-12 dishes. All were awesome. We ordered the Signature $128 (vs. the Premium $168). That is per person, but served to the whole table. We were painfully full at the end. The dessert plate topped it off. Usually Asian sweets and desserts aren't sweet or appetizing, This was awesome. A little of everything. Thoroughly enjoyed it and was worth the money. Drinks are $20 a pop, so I recommend saki or no-alcoholic beverages.

Not worth the money

By Slo |

Had high expectations for dinner ,specially for the sushi rolls. Unfortunately the taste of the fish and rolls were really disappointing, absolutely not worth the high prices at all. I speak from experience as I am eating japanese cuisine very often all around the world, but Zuma in Vegas is just overrated. Ambiente is good, service was good but the taste of the food very basic.

Top sushi

Top sushi in Vegas Great food variety and quality Right prices Cool and elegant design Great drinks Professional staff

Outrageously Delicious

By atlantisaug |

Was in town for business and a friend insisted that we dine at Zuma. I had no idea what kind of cuisine it was nor did I do my normal TA research beforehand. Setting has a cool vibe with the open kitchen and comfortable decor. Hung out at the bar first as we waited for the first seating. Friend got a glass of wine but she thought it was only ok. Bartender (forgot his name) was very friendly and gave a good show when he was making some smoky drinks for some other customers. At the table, we ordered a special appetizer that the bartender told us about - steak skirt skewers (a little too rare for me but very tasty and tender), fried soft shell crab with wasabi mayonnaise (to die for), grilled cod and blackened sea bass and asparagus. All of the dishes were amazing and entirely different from anything I’ve ever eaten before. If in Vegas, hands down a must visit. And the fact that it’s in the Cosmopolitan is an added bonus!

Amazing Food

By l_dalby |

Visited here as a big group and opted for one of the tasting menus. This place is pricey, but for the amount of food you get you don't feel ripped off. It's also all super tasty, fresh raw fish, the juiciest cuts of meat and some really inventive desserts. This is definitely somewhere you would go for a special occasion and for that it was perfect.

Try the lychee and rose petal martini

By aveerapp |

Incredible food, the best restaurant we went to over our 4 day trip in Vegas!!! Out of this world cocktails (yea they are pricey but so well balanced and worth it) try lychee and rose petal martini. Yellowtail sushi was superb. Ambiance is a cool, edgy vibe.

Excellent food & service

By Lisa B |

My husband and I ate dinner at Zuma twice in the last three months. Both times the food was superb and the service was excellent. The first time we ate from the a la carte menu. I had the steak ribbed with chili peppers. It was very tasty. My husband had a variety of sushi rolls, all very good and fresh. The second time we had the premium omikase, or tasting menu. It included grilled lobster & steak, fresh sushi, plus a lot more. I especially enjoyed the dessert tasting options, including a delicious chocolate pudding type dessert. The reason it is 4/5 stars is that the tables are very close together, making it very loud. For an expensive restaurant, I would have liked to not hear every word of the diners’ conversations near us. But, overall, I recommend this restaurant!

Delicious

By Herriotcube |

Zuma is really special, partly because of the beautifully designed interior but mainly for the absolutely delicious food. A large menu but everything that we ordered was extremely good and our group of 6 were all very happy with the decision to visit Zuma. It's not cheap so be ready for that!

Zuma in North America!!

By N S |

I was introduced to Zuma in Abu Dhabi last year and was very excited when I found out they had a location in Las Vegas. I was excited to introduce it to my family. The restaurant is quite large and we got a quiet table, but only one side of the table had a view of the dining room, sushi bar and robata grill. Our table of three ordered: miso shiru (for the teen), avocado asparagus salad, zuma kappa maki, wagyu beef tataki with truffles special, chef’s selection 3 type sashimi, miso marinated black cod, ribeye steak with garlic crisps, shiitake mushrooms with garlic soy butter, and finally, the rice hot pot with mushrooms, veggies and truffles. The wagyu beef tataki was melt in your mouth tender. The ribeye was devoured by our teen who doesn’t normally eat steak. The sashimi came with freshly grated wasabi. The mushroom truffle rice was not as good as when I had it in Abu Dhabi (it seemed a bit too saucy here and not as pungent with truffles, but it was still delicious. The salad was ok, nothing too special. The shiitake mushrooms are amazingly tender. The drinks were pretty good as well. Overall, I’m happy to have had the chance to have Zuma again without having to fly half way around the world. It is an expensive meal so I would save this for a special occasion. We don’t gamble, so what we don’t spend in the casinos, we put into our stomachs!

A great lunch

By 1879fulham |

A great choice for lunch with a great selection of Japanese dishes. Particular favourites for me was the calamari and the black cod. The Japanese rice with truffle was amazing as well. Overall the restaurant was buzzing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend you visit.

Amazing Food/Atmosphere

By MooreVegasFood |

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. I love the ambiance and the specialty cocktail drinks are great too. The food is always artistically prepared and it's a place I continue to visit time and time again.

Excellent!

A visit to Zuma is a wonderful experience! Went on a Friday Night and they was playing some good funky tunes! Friends tried plenty of dishes! Favourites where pork belly, lobster and the whisky dessert!

Best sushi in town

By Gumimaci |

I just love it. Any chance I have to visit zuma around the world I will never miss it. Top quality sushi and very good service in one of the best atmosphere. Don’t forget to order yellowtail sashimi

Really good. Once we found it.

By taradiddle |

Geez, this place is not easy to find. We walked what felt like a mile down nearly empty convention-center like hallways before we finally found it among other restaurants. It has contemporary Japanese food. Wood panels walls and a cool vibe. Great bartenders. The food was wonderful - both cooked and raw selections. I especially loved the pork belly. Hubby really loved the seared maguro.

Best restaurant in Vegas.

By chrisbutler2016 |

Cosmopolitan has probably best collection of restaurants in Vegas but this stands out as a jewel. Probaly the best Zuma in world. Fantastic food. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. Entertained 12 to dinner and all agreed best food they have ever had, what a compliment. Great food , well done. Just ask them to put some food together for you and sit back and enjoy. Can’t reccimend any higher than this.

Awesome

By Elmo1004 |

Very good experience here. We had a large group of about 20 people with a set course menu and everything was phenomenal. Top notch service and plating so beautiful you dont want to eat it. One downside is that the bathrooms at this facility is a one toilet bathroom for both men and women. Long lines for both, which kind of killed the experience

New favorite

By lucycan |

I've eaten at all the top sushi places in Vegas. Check out my reviews. I think this is my new favorite. Great vibe, great service, and sublime sushi. Its pricey, but you get what you pay for.

One of the best sushi in the world

By Gianmarco Massolari |

Service, location, open kitchen, food: everything was perfect. I tried an amazing sushi. My customers got a Tomahawk, it looked really good. Next time I will try the same, maybe in Zuma London or Dubai.

Good but expensive

By pbfues |

Six of us when to Zuma on a recent trip to Las Vegas. One of our party chose this restaurant and we were staying at this hotel. The service was excellent. Now I remember days when Las Vegas had affordable dining. Not any more. Several at the table ordered the Omakase which is chef's choice and they just keep bringing out dishes to share My husband and I are not that adventurous and so ordered items off the menu, All of the food was good and it was presented very nicely. The Omakase was around $170 per person. Our food was small portions and each item was in the $14-$20 range. The wine mark up about gave me a heart attack. I know my wine prices and there was very little under $100. We paid $120 for a bottle that I can get at our local wine shop for $33.99. Usually wine is not marked up almost 4 times. If you like Japanese food and don't mind dropping a lot of money, then this is a good restaurant. I am still trying to get over the sticker shock.

"Exceptional Cocktails, Delicious Food, and Stellar Service, must visit when in Vegas.

By Rome |

Zuma Las Vegas truly exceeded my expectations with its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service. I had the Chili Margarita, expertly crafted by Bree, one of the most talented and personable bartenders I’ve encountered. She nailed the perfect balance of spice and citrus, creating a cocktail that was as flavorful as it was refreshing. The Tuna Tataki was equally impressive—fresh, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. To top it off, I was thrilled to find they carry my favorite tequila, LALO, a testament to their focus on quality ingredients. A big thank you to Bree for her outstanding hospitality and skill behind the bar. She made my experience at Zuma unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back for more!

An absolute experience

By Simon J |

Zuma should be considered an absolute experience and an investment in a foodie adventure. Not your average restaurant - probably one of the best in the US - especially in Las Vegas. Modern Japanese. I was fortunate to have the full experience including the Omakasi paired with sake and wine. A real food adventure created by the chef and the many kitchens in the restaurant.

Omakase for pescatarian - Wonderful birthday treat

By Julie and Pescatarian SO |

We treated ourselves to the signature omakase while in Vegas for our birthdays. We didn't select the Premium version of omakase since we didn't want a lobster course during our meal. When we arrived, we mentioned to our waiter that one of us is a pescatarian (vegetarian that eats seafood), so the kitchen was nice enough to replace the meat (beef/chicken) courses in the omakase, with seafood and vegetables. FYI - It might not be guaranteed that the kitchen can/will replace courses that day, so it's better to call ahead and check. We watching the people working at the open robata grill since they were busy the entire time. We had so many delicious, fresh, courses, we lost count. Our waiter and food runners provided excellent service and checked on our feedback for each course, to make sure things were going well for us. We liked that the final course of fruit and desserts (chawanmushi aka Japanese egg custard w/diced fruit and bread pudding), was light enough to be filling, without going into a sugar coma.

Amazing Food and Service

By Karen C |

Great experience! Food was served quickly and was quite good. Recommend the pork belly and ribs. My friends raved about the chilean sea bass! Great atmosphere.

Delicious sashimi and sushi

By QuebecCdntraveler |

Pricy but delicious meal. We chose sea bass sashimi and black cod dumplings to start. Both mouthwatering! We then chose a variety of sushi and maki, which were all superb but salmon belly sushi was the standout. Finished off with the teriyaki filet mignon which put the cherry on top of a fabulous meal. Of course no room for dessert but cocktails and sake were top notch as well. Service was quick and attentive

Loud loud place

By LostInTime |

I didn’t like this place. And it’s not really their fault I don’t think. But the super loud pumping club music is just not my thing. My brain felt like it was being crushed. The waiter was super nice. And the food was good. But it’s so loud.

Excellent Food

By Randy R |

I tried this restaurant in the Cosmopolitan for the first time. I was looking for sushi and found so much more at this place. It is a little pricy, but they have an excellent menu and a wide variety of drinks. I had the soft shell crab appetizer, the best I have ever had, and a couple of rolls. I had an off menu roll that I would highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent, flawless

By Pete Popov |

My third time at Zuma during CES, three years in a row. Packed restaurant, yet every dish was prepared perfectly. That's not an easy thing to do at a restaurant this size, with such a crowd. We had sushi, appetizers, fish and beef, every dish was flawless. It is expensive though. Drinks, wine, all the food we had plus tax and tip came to $250/person. Pricey, but the restaurant has not disappointed me yet .

Worth the money …

By Marco W |

Interesting wine selection from small producers, had the omakase tasting menu … Surely a nice experience, quite pricey but hey, this is Las Vegas …

Great food - Ok Service - Horrible Management

By Eyal M |

TLDR; Good Food, Good Vibe, But don't complain! Let's start off by saying, the food is terrific. We took the Omakase, and most dishes were terrific. The best ones were the steak, shrimp & crab All fish dishes were also terrific. The worst one: Vegetable dish - inedible. (Which at the end of the meal, we were made aware we could have had changed. At the end, not when we literally left it uneaten) Which brings us to management. For a meal that costs 170 per person, we expect a certain level of experience. Some cons: * Food was served in a hurry, not taking into account the pace of the people dining. * Bowls that were chilling the food started leaking all over the table and diners. * Due to the pace, items like steak sticks were cold, and were re-heated, which ruined the dish. * Chilled dishes that were left on the table were left unchilled. This also ruined the dining experience. When we brought this to managements attention, things spiraled out of control. A person identified as a manager of the restaurant, accused us for not paying! We believe this was a loss in translation. However, the complains at this point were not heard, and the manager was on full defense. There are high expectations when you pay this much for a meal, and ruining the end of the experience did ruin the whole experience at the end of the day. So make sure not to complain, or you may be accused of something you didn't say!

Awful awful awful.....

By Laura W |

2am and I couldn't sleep and realized it was because I was so upset by our dinner here. Where to begin. First and foremost, we specified that my son had a peanut allergy both on the reservation and in person with our server. When the dessert came, we asked again just in case and lo and behold, there was an item with peanuts in it that noone told us about until we asked. Very dangerous and very careless of them!!! Infuriatingly so, given the well known dangers of peanut allergies. Secondly, after spending 200+ per person, we all left hungry and unsatisfied. To clarify, my husband and I came here last year for omakase and we loved it and raved about it. We brought our kids and a friend and her son this year to enjoy the experience with us. The quality of the food is good but the quantity and portion control was just awful. For example, Last year sushi sashimi course, 2 slices 2 pieces per person. This year was 1 slice 1 sushi per person. Last year, two of us shared a large peice of black cod. This year, SIX of us shared 2 peices about the same size. Same thing with the rib eye steak. 6 people sharing a tiny portion when last year, 2 of us shared a slightly smaller portion. Truffle mushroom course was made and served in the same size pot and same total portion for 2 people last year as 6 people this year. And so on and so on. They have INCREASED their prices but DECREASED their portions. What a rip off. Timing of the courses was all over the place as well. Some courses came out fast and all together and then there were long periods of time between other courses. It was a good 20 to 25 mins before we got our last dessert course. Bizarre. Icing on the cake...... I specified that we were there to celebrate a birthday and they completely did nothing. No birthday message whatsoever. Whatever. We were already displeased by the time we got the check only to find out they charged us $6 plus another $6 for the one sprite my son ordered. We had asked for a "refill" on the skinny small glass of 90% ice and 10% sprite he got, and got charged $6 for it. Honestly??? The food was good but no matter how good, when you leave hungry after spending 200+ per person, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I can see that the owners managers don't really even care about their customers bc they haven't responded to any of the negative reviews on here. I doubt they'll see or care about this but needed to warn everyone. Such a disappointment.

Average all around!

By hnasr |

I have been to other Zuma in other cities, this one had average food! No wow in any of the dishes and we ordered quite few. The food was coming so fast that it was hard to enjoy. It was obvious that they wanted to turn over the table. The best thing was the ribeye steak. The sushi we can get in any decent sushi restaurant anywhere.

Flawless dining

By Gary L |

Zuma is an experience! I have been to several and all are amazing. My personal favorite is still in Miami but you will not go wrong by stopping in at the one in Las Vegas. Everything on the menu is outstanding. If it is your first time I’d suggest going with the omakase, that way you get a sampling of several of their dishes. You will not be disappointed!

Simply brilliant Asian theme in Vegas. Great Vegan options.

By AnilJ |

Superb Asian themed food creations. All cooked fresh and served superbly. A very vibrant and cool place that attracts A-lust types. The Sushi is divine, as is the signature cravings. You must try the Burning Sensation cocktail as amazing

Japanese Exceptionalism

By medicineman |

Food, service & atmosphere was not impeccable. Second time here and better than the first. Best Japanese cuisine by a mile.

Great presentation, mediocre food

By FDCTravel |

We’ve been to Zuma before and in Miami, but it’s been a few years since our last visit. In LA we go to Katsuya in Brentwood and we basically benchmark most mid-to-high-end sushi restaurants to it (sorry Nobu). Zuma’s presentation is actually quite nice. The food is served with care and visually looks great. The drinks were also quite good and the overall vibe didn’t feel stuffy or scene-y which was nice. SERVICE Our waiter was very nice and relaxed. He offered recommendations and took good care of us throughout the night. FOOD I feel a bit bad leaving a negative review on the food, but we both felt that it lacked flavor and we actually left a few items virtually untouched. The rock shrimp dressing had virtually no flavor and just felt like dipping the shrimp into a flavourless yellow mayo. The maki was better, but again, we didn’t really get any explosion of flavors with any of the 6 items we ordered. I want to emphasize that it’s not “bad” sushi…It’s just not as good as we expected it to be and when you spend $20-$35 per sushi roll it just needs to be amazing. We will most likely never come back.

Wow

By Nicci M |

Love the small plates and the steaks are to die for. It is a great place to go for a special night out, but pricey but worth it.

Zumostly good

By JayHi96 |

Zuma in Hong Kong is one of my favourite restaurants, so I was keen to check out the Vegas version and it was pretty close. The food is good and the space is inviting, siting on the 3rd floor of Cosmo. There were a couple of favorites missing from the menu (e.g. miso black cod), but it was certainly worth a visit. In a very competitive market, Zuma still stands out

Craveable

By Ash & Jon |

Lots of hype & it lived up to it. Cocktails & food dishes were excellent. We chose not to go the sushi route because there is a lot of excellent sushi in Vegas but instead focused on prepared seafood. Food we loved: prawn and black cod gyoza, hamachi sashimi with green chile, robata scallop, skirt steak with shiso chimichurri. Cocktails we loved: Chili Passion Fruit Margarita and Zuma Mai Tai. Would go back!

Great sushi in a beautiful setting

By dogmom71 |

The sushi was perfect. Fresh mild fish and just the right amount of rice (I ordered rolls). My favorite was the 3 fish roll and yellowtail jalapeno. Decor was beautiful - minimalist with gorgeous pink flowers. Wish I could eat at place like this more often.

Great Japanese cuisine

By leeryder1111 |

The dishes are small plates and meant to savor each flavor. We so enjoyed our experience. Great service, interesting variety and the chilean sea bass is wonderful!

Some of the best dishes in Vegas!

By Michael H |

Zuma was delicious and strange...? We were sat at a very awkward 2 top that was inches away from another 2 top. It was oddly spaced out. After we laughed about our "Pseudo party of 4" we ordered come cocktails. The Burning Desire was a great version of a smoked whiskey sour. They burn a piece of a Macallan barrel, tableside, and infuse the smoke into the drink! Definitely worth $20.00. We started with the prawn and black cod dumplings (gyoza) and they were awful! Pass on these as they were fishy and had a pasty texture. Here is a list of what we ordered next: Salmon Shizo: Delish! Pork Belly Skewer: Melted and delicious! Alaskan King Crab w/ ponzu butter: This was the best thing we ordered. Ribeye (MR) with Wafu sauce: Honestly, one of the better steaks of my life. Jumbo Shrimp: This was ok. Otoro Nigiri: Huge dissappointment!! Japanese Uni: I had 2 orders of this. The first was firm and beautiful and the second was a bit mushy...gross. After spending nearly $500 for this amount of food I realized there are better places in Vegas to enjoy this type of quality, atmosphere and cuisine. The service here was 5 star. Ken and Jeff were professional, hospitable and knowledgeable without intruding and we greatly appreciated them.

Amazing Japanese Food and Atmosphere in Vegas

By Nicoyaforever |

This is a great Japanese restaurant inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel right on the strip. The food I had (glazed pork ribs with cashews and scallions and black cod marinated in miso), was superb! The food is served family-style, so everyone can share 2 or 3 dishes. They also had a great drink menu, and the atmosphere was super cool and fun. The prices were high, but not surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. Highly recommended for a business dinner or a special occasion.

Exclusive experience

By Cristiano G |

Beautiful place with attention to every detail, open kitchen, one for sushi and one for meat, which fascinates you just to look at them for precise and orderly movements Great food with care for the raw material and details in the 'plating Some nuances in the service, the glasses of wine arrived late and something in the order of the courses but that the room manager, whom I thank, was good at retrieving with kindness and removing the glasses from the bill

Very good

By Epicuretravels |

A very good meal. Calamari, rib eye with ponzu and king crab mains were very good. Also had a crème brûlée, which was nice for sharing. Service was good if not a little rushed. Had to ask them to slow down the pace as almost everything arrived within 40 minutes. Chili passion fruit margaritas were outstanding. Would come back.

Simply Amazing!

By Josh G |

My wife and I had a really incredible dinner. The atmosphere, ambiance, food taste and presentation were superb. The staff were all super friendly. Special shout out to Josh the manager, and Snoop the chef who kept entertaining us. The waygu skirt steak was insane, so much flavour and so tender. All the sushi rolls were also great with the chirashi maki being our favourite. But the most noteworthy for me was the Burning History cocktail, a must try for any whiskey lover.

Expensive, but Excellent

By Gailyn63 |

We had a group of 6 and we all ordered the premium omikase, which wasn’t cheap at $185/pp. it was outstanding, though, from the wagyu beef to the tempura lobster to the sea bass to the sushi. Service was excellent. My only complaint would be that we were seated near the DJ, which made it very loud and difficult to have a conversation.

EXCELLENT

Dinner At Zuma Was very good The Service Was Unparalleled Alot Of Staff you wait for Nothing We were going too a show so we ate lite 4TYPES Of sushi Rolls Was great

Who’s Zooming who?

By MDDdolphin |

Zuma is upstairs in the Cosmopolitan, which means you will pay for parking unless you have MGM status and park next door at Aria. The interior accurately predicts that this is a modern Japanese eatery. As with most Strip restaurants, it can be noisy when busy. Dishes come from the sushi bar, the main kitchen and the robota grill. Dishes are designed to be shared and are delivered to the table sequentially. Service was appropriately attentive and timely. There are also omakase tasting menus but the whole table must participate. We started with soft shell crab and various skewers, all of which were tasty and a bit more flavorful than traditional Japanese preparation. The main fish dishes were were also expertly plated and prepared. Appetizers were generally $20-30, with mains from $40-64. Meat eaters may find the steaks pricey at up to $45/oz for wagyu. All in all, we would place Zuma in the upper third of Strip Asian options.

Perfect Dinner with Love & more

By AdeleS |

Perfect Dinner with Love I would recommend the premium menu omakase. The best cocktail: Mexican Zombie Service: perfect

10 out of 10

By SaugusM |

This is one of the best if not the best Japanese restaurants we've been to. The sushi is amazing, the taste and presentation are incredible, the skewers items look great as well, cooked in an open area over glowing red hot charcoal, we highly recommend it.

Tasty fun vibes

Fun cocktails, endless tasty dishes, a loud party vibe in this restaurant. Husband has been to a few others in the chain and says they never fail to impress.

An amazing experience

By TOMF |

We fell in love with Zuma in Dubai. During our recent trip to Las Vegas we wished to see if their restaurant in Cosmopolitan would be equally great. We got such a delicious food, beautifully presented served by caring personnel giving us exciting suggestions Serving Gluten free alternatives Definitely an amazing experience we want to repeat. Thank you. :)

We were IMPRESSED!

By tflah |

We went to Zuma for the first time and were SUPER impressed...wow! We always held barMasa as the standard for sushi/Japanese when in Vegas and have been looking for a replacement since they closed in April. Zuma is it!!! We sat at the bar and Danielle was our bartender...talk about top notch service! She thoroughly went through the menu and made recommendations. The food was AMAZING and we will definitely be going back next time we are in town. On a side note, we couldn't find a wine/champagne/sake list anywhere online and stopped in before they opened. The Manager/hostess were totally accommodating and we knew from there we would have great customer service, Zuma did not disappoint!

Dinner at Zuma

Really excellent contemporary Japanese restaurant, although some dishes are expensive there still plenty of small dishes to chose from that are reasonably priced and delicious. Also very good cocktails, outstanding service and a lively atmosphere

Best sushi in town!

By mark4kings |

I'm a self professed sushi snob, and I gotta say, this was awesome. I went with the 9-piece chef's choice and was nor disappointed. The fish was fresh and expertly prepared. My wife had the soft-shell crab and it too was awesome. The wait-staff were extremely friendly and prompt. Excellent meal all around!

Phenomenal meal!

By BigMac1983 |

My wife and I had previously eaten here in July. We enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere, but found the food to be average. Decided to give it another shot with a group of friends and we all had a perfect evening. Food was absolutely phenomenal this time around. On the drinks, I enjoyed the Burning History and the Japanese Old Fashioned. Both delicious. Food wise, we enjoyed 3 separate sushi rolls. I believe they were the pirikara maguro (tuna with green chili, spicy mayo and tobiko), pirikara hamachi (yellowtail with serrano pepper, avocado and wasabi mayo), and the Golden Toro Maki. All were delicious, but the Toro Maki was absolutely incredible. We also enjoyed the buta – bara yuzu miso (kurobuta pork belly with yuzu mustard miso), the suzuki no osashimi (thinly sliced seabass with yuzu, truffle and salmon roe), and the yaki taraba gani (king crab with ponzu lime butter). But, the best portion of this absolutely incredible meal was the 80 oz Tomahawk Ribeye which was covered in truffle and a delicious dipping sauce. That's not a mistype. 80. Ounces. They referred to it as the "Dinosaur" tomahawk. This visit has completely sold me on Zuma and I will be returning each time we stay at Cosmopolitan.

Authentic Japanese Fare...

By jefferywillis2016 |

Although this restaurant is not for the budget constrained - I really thought it was truly worth the toll. We dove in head first with the full seasonal tasting menu and attached several amazing flights of sake recommended by a very informed Sommelier. Most tasting menus typically fall short on filling you up but to the contrary, Zuma provided six (3 part each) courses of incredible palate drenching cuisine - from the black cod to the wagyu beef - everything was a perfect blend of culinary delight over what turned out to be a three hour meal. highly recommended if you simply want the best in service, quality, and ambiance.

This One’s a Keeper

By Doug W |

After refusing to wait any longer for our reservation at Catch, we sought out another place to dine. We were so pleased we did. There was not much we didn’t like about it. Our server was professional and helpful. The décor was lovely and noise level allowed us to speak, but there was still an energy despite being a Tuesday night. The sushi was of a very high quality, arrived like clockwork and pricing was just right. Try the beef skewers. I could eat ten of them! All boxes checked.

Amazing, must try (if you’re rich)

By Harristan N |

I ordered the premium Omakase and I was deeply in love with the food that came out. I am a glutton and I was more than satisfied with the portions of food presented. The price point is definitely expensive. But if you have the money to blow then blow it here. If you have the chance to have Brayden be your waiter then you’re in for a treat.

I dropped in looking to ge a lobster roll.

By rick928 |

I googled Lobster Roll while in Vegas with a buddy of mine and this came up. When we go there the place looked nice, perhaps too nice for a simple lobster roll. The waitress explained they had not had lobster rolls for several years. I guess Mr Google didn't get the message. Any way we both ordered, he go jambalaya and I got crab cakes with a side of brussel sprouts. All of the food was delicious, though I'll have to say you didn't get much crab cakes for the price. The beer selection was quite limited but never the less adequate. The service was excellent. I would go there again.

Loved Zuma!!

By LuxeFamilyFun |

Located between Milo's and the new Block 16 Food Court (don't miss that!) is Zuma. We had never been before even though we frequent that area often when we are in Vegas. We found ourselves hungry on two occasions later in the evening and sat at the bar at Zuma. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere - it has music pumping and has a club-like feel. It was really cool. We had a variety of sushi rolls on both visits and the food was excellent, the cocktails innovative and the service fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing!!! Food

By Tracy S |

I cannot say enough about the food! The BEST calamari I have ever had. The scallops were fabulous, and I do not normally eat sea food. My husband ordered the sea bass, and couldn't say enough about it. Our waitress was absolutely delightful.

Zuma Las Vegas is outstanding,

By MOHAMMED ABU HAJAR |

Zuma Las Vegas is outstanding, the friendly staff and special thanks to Luis the Resturant Manager who was very kind and welcoming and took us through unforgettable experience that night, we tried the tasting menu Omakase Tasting Menu and it was best experience ever, starting with rock shrimp and tuna belly than Chilean Sea bass and Soft shell Crab and California Roll and Tuna Tartar and Uni Sushi (unique item) and grilled scallops and wagyu beef rool and wagyu steak and street corn on cup and at the end was the best world famous Black Cod miso dish and the mixture plate of fruits and ice creams with chocolate fountain was the best ending for this night, I strongly recommend it

Unbelievable

By EnriDalti |

Unbelievable food,l and excellent service. We both ordered the omakase and it was out of this world. We will definitely be back to Zuma.

Excellent food & service

By Lisa B |

My husband and I ate dinner at Zuma early on a Tuesday evening. Jeff was our waiter, and he was very attentive. We started with his recommended Japanese single malt whiskey for my husband and I had their new drink called Tokyo Drifter. It was similar to a mojito, with a minty flavor. I loved it. Then , we had several excellent pieces of sushi, especially the shrimp and tuna. One of the signature dishes is the ribeye rubbed with red chili flakes. It was precut into bite size pieces and topped with sesame seeds. I love beef and this was some of the most tasty I have ever had. The venue is beautiful with wood and stone accents. We ate early as I would recommend because the place starting filling up as we ended our meal, and it got a bit loud. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ibrahim 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

By Samuel Gonsalez |

Our experience at Zuma today was deeply disappointing and has left us questioning whether we will ever return. As loyal patrons on our third visit, we never anticipated such an unpleasant encounter. In the past, I had requested Tabasco sauce to enjoy with my oysters—a classic accompaniment to vinaigrette. Both times, the request was denied, and I was offered Sriracha, which, in my opinion, is entirely unsuitable for oysters. To avoid repeating this issue, I decided to bring my own Tabasco to ensure a better dining experience. Unfortunately, what followed completely tarnished our visit. Ibrahim, who identified himself as a manager, approached our table and proceeded to criticize me for having Tabasco on the table. Despite my polite explanation that I brought it due to the restaurant’s inability to provide it, his tone remained dismissive and condescending. A professional response from a manager would have been to approach the matter with tact and understanding. Perhaps a solution like discreetly providing a small serving dish for the sauce could have preserved both the guest’s satisfaction and the restaurant’s image. Instead, the rigid and unaccommodating attitude displayed was both shocking and disappointing. This experience overshadowed the rest of our brunch, leaving us feeling unwelcome and undervalued. When dining at a high-end establishment like Zuma, one expects not only exceptional food but also service that matches its reputation. Regrettably, today’s experience fell far below those standards.

Great Dinner with Friends

Good food, great staff! We were unfortunately, late for our reservation but the staff was very understanding and accomodating.

Lovely atmosphere, amazing choices of food, staff very good and helpful. Definitely need to pre book to get a table.

Fantastic

By Igor |

This was my 2nd Zuma experience. First was in Dubai and now I tried Las Vegas. It worth every dollar you spend there. Food is fantastic, service is great. What else? Looking forward when Zuma will open its doors in Boston!

Delicious!

Had a wonderful dinner with a variety of delicious dishes. Service was excellent! I can’t wait to go back again.

Amazing food

By Ross M |

Zuma is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The service is excellent and the food is even better. Their sushi is really fresh and steaks are excellent. This is a great place to go for sushi and steaks.

Tremendous dinner

By Tal P |

Really enjoyed our dinner at Zuma. The sushi was beyond words and the entire Eco system is wonderful. Next time we hit Vegas we will book a reservation for sure!

Amazing food and Atmosphere

By Ddb2422 |

We had a corporate dinner here and this place did not disappoint. Located in the Cosmo. The meal came family style for a group of 20 with plenty of food for everyone. I am not a big seafood person but did not have any issues finding food that worked. Also did not mind trying different types of sushi that was available. Best part for me was the lobster and wague steak that was brought out. The dessert was a sight to be seen and had at least 8 different selections on the platter. Expensive but everything in Vegas is.

Special!

By MariiiiS |

Excellent sushi, super friendly staff and high level service. The sommelier recommended an excellent wine to us. It is located inside the Cosmopolitan hotel. I recommend booking.

(2nd Review)

By Matthaios R |

Today went again at Zuma and met Zin.Shes so far the best server we met.She spent a time with us while we are waiting for the food and entertain us while we are staying in the restaurant. Also my friend Olsi is paying for my dessert today!! He’s so sweet and friendly and he with Zin made our night wonderful!! Also the cooks and chefs -photos added- did their best to cook and they made delicious meals for us!

Everything was delicious

By Travel Life💕 |

Such a comfortable, wonderful dining experience! We sat in oversized chairs at a large table for 4 and they brought us the tasting of everything special. We had steak, lobster, sushi, baked potato, and the dessert was a box of something for everyone!!

A nice choice in the Cosmo

By Will |

EXCELLENT. 4.5 stars. YES we would go back. LONGER VERSION: We are Vegas locals, and decided to go to the Strip to try Zuma for the first time. SERVICE: It was not busy in the beginning for a Sunday night, (but was later) and we were seated in a simple table. A bit cozy, but OK. Service from James - our main server - was Outstanding. He was there when you needed him and had a great attitude - especially considering the world events of March 2020. Nice job. WINE and COCKTAILS: By the glass (and bottle) had a small but adequate selection, and we opted to go with a couple of wines by the glass. Very good. FOOD: We started with the Prawn and Cod Gyoza, and the Salmon Avocado roll. Continued and shared the Chilean Seabass with the special Sweet Corn side. All fresh and Excellent - very tasty. The special - off menu - chocolate dessert rounded out the meal. OVERALL: A nice experience in the Cosmo. Visitors - Cosmo has some of the better and more unique restaurants on the Strip. Tip: Ask for a booth if you have 3+ people so you can see and be seen. Higher end for pricing, but reasonable given the freshness of the meal. YES we would go back. Four Thumbs Up.

TERRIBLE

By Nicolle Reyes |

For my birthday I make a reservation in Zuma with a 100 of expectation. Was horrible! Bad service at all, we wait por my husband dishes 40 minutes and when they came to us they forgot to cook mine. I have to left the restaurant with empty stomach and have to go to other restaurant to eat.

Fantastic Omakase

By Keithus |

We had a fantastic meal at Zuma. They did their Omakase tasting as a series of multiple plate courses that kept things interesting. Red snapper sashimi, toro tartare, grilled scallops, and Chilean sea bass really stood out. A bottle of Born Yume wa Masayuma Junmai Daiginjo (dreams come true) sake was delicious as an accompaniment. Nobu who?

Great Japanese Fusion

By a1963corvette |

Zuma is a bit of an odd bird on the 3rd level of the Cosmopolitan. It’s Japanese: sushi, sashimi, omakase, and the best beef. But it’s more than that. It boasts some Japanese fusion takes on Vegas classics too. The wooden décor would be worth the visit if the food wasn’t that great, but it is good. Amazing sushi and the freshest sashimi. I want to get back for a trial of the fare from that wood fired grill.

After raving for years, now disappointed

By Franz K |

Since London, Hong Kong I was very happy to have Zuma here in Vegas. Many unforgettable nights lead to a disappointment last night. Taking out friends, raving for weeks about the food and the cocktails, we all were really hyped up and excited. The first disappointment were the, how it was explained to us, that the Rubabu Cocktail tasted totally different than usually because the new bartender changed the recipe. The second shock was that 2 Tuna Tartare with Caviar were delivered and none was aware that we ever ordered it, well it was good but an extra $170 to the bill. In addition we had a Bottle of Sake and 3 more rounds of different cocktails! Once we received the bill, there was no adjustment or at least a replacement for the first round of messed up drinks! At a bill of almost $1,100 I'd expected that they would make some adjustments. It's not about the money, $80 more or less doesn't make a difference, but this was sad and I'd expected more from Zuma. Hello Nobu, how are you?

Excellent flavors with views of the performance kitchen

By Kevin C |

From miso cod and waygu to a Hibiki Harmony old fashioned, the flavors, ambiance and service make for a great dining experience!

Zuma is a classy restaurant with tasty food and good service.

By 44Mafia |

My wife and I had an anniversary dinner at Zuma, which was very enjoyable. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation of 5:30 pm and we were promptly seated at a cozy table for two. On a Monday night it was initially relatively quiet with just a handful of tables occupied. Our initial waiter (possibly named Greg?) explained the menu and we were quickly ordering cocktails and dinner. We ordered two sushi rolls, black cod, prime ribeye, roasted potato (served up tableside) and sweet corn. All of the food was served in a "sharable" fashion. All of the food came out of the kitchen in an organized fashion. We particularly enjoyed the black cod, ribeye and roasted potato. For me, the black cod was a huge hit. It was delicate and tasty (with a dipping sauce). Our service was very good, and a good number of random employees paid attention to us and touched our table at different times. As time passed the restaurant filled in with diners who were buzzing with chatter and energy. This is a classy restaurant and it was perfect for a celebration. Of course, you pay for it in the end so do your homework on the menu so you know what you'll pay in the end. Our bill for two was $275 (including tax, but not including the tip we added). If I had a criticism for the restaurant it would be our first waiter mysteriously left (without an explanation) to serve other tables and he was replaced by Maggie (who was fine) but letting us know about the transition would have been nice. Bottom line, we'll come back to Zuma for more.

Hit or miss Sushi? (Zuma whiffed epically this Monday night visit.)

By JAB611 |

On a Monday night my friend and I both ordered the Spicy Lobster Bisque and fortunately for me, my dinner companion commented on the pieces of lobster in their cup of bisque. I had NONE - Zuma had just served me the (admittingly very tasty) broth sans lobster, tofu, etc.! After making the server aware of the error and got an awful tasting "properly prepared with all ingredients" replacement some 20 minutes later, with an explanation that the kitchen was very busy and they most likely had to make a new batch of bisque which probably accounted for the completely different taste (I was disappointed that no offer to remove it from the bill). Restaurant was generally over crowded with tables way too close together, so we sadly experienced an evening of "excuse me" from other patrons moving throughout the restaurant! Along with the pedestrian service and minuscule sushi portions made this visit to Zuma an utter disappointment.

by far my favorite!

By Caterinaxox |

I have tried Zuma in London, Miami, New York so I had to try it here. Very good sushi. on the high side of the price point, but well worth it in my opinion.

My best culinary experience in Las Vegas

By Marcin |

The server was great. The food was exceptional. The drinks were perfect. The interior was modern with a great atmosphere. No matter your culinary preferences and standards - this place is worth checking out.

Zuma Restaurant at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas.

By Odyssey200118 |

We enjoyed a great meal dining at Zuma at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The room has a very stylish and unique look with multiple wall treatments and three separate kitchen areas including a full sushi station and grilling station. The sushi was delicious and came out quickly. The Black Cod was tender and juicy and is something you will certainly enjoy. Perfect restaurant for date nights, business meals or getting together with friends for a night out.

Good food, a tad overpriced

By KarlaSingson |

Wanted to impress a few guests to this place so I brought them here. The food was really good and some of the dishes were unique. I personally thought though they are a tad overpiced since I can get high quality sushi in other places on the strip. The ambiance was hip and caters to yuppies mostly, but it was too noisy to have a conversation even at 10pm. Book a table early through OpenTable and you're good to go. The truffle rolls were my favorite and it's not always on the menu, so ask for it. :)

Great tasting menu and ambiance!

By MarsTheWorldTraveler |

A friend recommended Zuma and we weren’t disappointed. Tasting menu was great but we didn’t like the sake they recommended, so they’ve changed it for another bottle immediately which we liked. Ambiance was good, nice little atmosphere and the service was also very good. Went there on a Tuesday right before a show. Reasonably priced (for Vegas!).

Food was good, service was horrible

By E M |

We went to Zuma’s last night for dinner based on the reviews. The food itself was actually quite good, we had ordered the tempura veggies and seafood, tofu salad which was amazing, spicy tuna sushi, vegetarian sushi, California roll , and then natural iced tea for drinks. The service was absolutely horrible! Our waiter, James, had an attitude from the start he seemed to be in a mood. Our drinks took forever to arrive and then when it was time for refills forget about it. After sometime someone brought us the wrong drink order ....twice. Then, we had asked for a description of the tempura we ordered because we just wanted to make sure that my vegan friend would not accidently eat the seafood. When they delivered the tempura they did not go over what each item was so then we asked the other waiter and he told us everything left on the plate was a vegetable but it wasn’t and my vegan friend ended up eating fish! When we told our main waiter what actually happened he didn’t care at all and didn’t do anything about it. Unfortunately because of the service staff I can not recommend this as a place to eat in Vegas...choose another option as there are plenty. I feel like the staff just don’t even put in an effort because they think they will likely not see us again being a transient city.

Excellent date night

By Carter B |

Excellent date night or occasion spot. My wife and I were able to find a table without reservations on a Monday night and were looking for a light dinner. Excellent and helpful waitstaff recommended the yaki-edamame, a spicy lemony appetizer which ended up being the best edamame ever. Then we went for the spicy tuna and prawn tempura rolls. These were perfectly sized and constructed. Highly recommended.

Great experience

By Joe Q |

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. Great atmosphere. Service is top notch. lost count how many people came by. I believe his name was Jason, our main waiter and he was terrific. They have a la cart menus and also pre fixe menus. They have 3 options for the pre fixed. We chose the middle priced one. It was fabulous, we lost count on how many dishes came out. Each one tasted great. The dessert even was incredible with 12 different fruits to chose from and other sweets. Mind you it was pricey but a great experience. Advise though if you order a bottle of wine please double check the price. My wife made the mistake and mistook the bottle price for a glass price.

Zuma Enjoyable High End Japanees dinning

By fugit13 |

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food on our visit. There was a bachelor party in the large glassed off room in the back. It was very nice it was glassed off as when the door was opened they were being quite loud. As we were getting ready to leave a bachelorette party was being seated next to us. The atmosphere was nice while we were seated but I can see it being loud and not as nice depending on the crowed. The staff were friendly, professional and prompt. The waitress did warn us that the fish I ordered would take a little more time then other items order and I was surprised how much extra time it was. She also made some good suggestions when we inquired about our options whether it was between 2 options or a blanket question on desert. The food was very good and of very high quality. I was most impressed with the cooked Black Cod and our desert. The desert was a over 20$ and called truffle something and was amazing. It was not listed on their online menu linked below a photo is attached. EDIT: Link had to be removed to do TripAdvisor Policy. It was not the best sushi I have ever had but it was very good. I would have skipped the spicy tuna and gotten something else I couldn't get as readily. It was the only thing I think I would change from what we ordered. No drinks dinner for 2 with desert was about 200$ with tip. I was happy we decided to go and would recommend going. If you go on a Fri or Sat be ready to maybe have a more party atmosphere(we were there early on a Fri).

Wow

By psetna |

Wow! Absolutely outstanding food and dining experience. We ordered the fixed menu selection and it did not disappoint.

Pricey but excellent

By jonathp |

We ordered a series of dishes we wouldn’t ordinarily order and shared across a group of four. There are some interesting and unusual dishes, and it was perfect to try different things and share as a group. Overall the food was excellent, the venue good. It’s pretty pricey but worth it.

Excellent selection and delicious sushi

By Paris F |

This place has a great menu and it will have something for everyone! Please do yourself a favor and try the sea bass! The sushimi is so fresh, it is amazing! There are so many great places to eat in Vegas and this one ranks up there with them all!

It sucked

By Rod Taverner |

Zuma has become the typical Las Vegas restaurants where the customer is the inconvenience. Server at 9:30 on a Thursday said they were closed. Would not make any cocktails and only had certain drinks. Would not return to take another order. Las Vegas and their hotel driven efficiency will long term suffer. The problem is the server world is buying into the same mentality and doesn't care about the customer. I won't be coming back. Maybe it doesn't matter but eventually it will.

Awesome restaurant at the Cosmo

By Magnus J |

We were ten friends visiting Zuma, and it was the best experience. Food, service, wine, atmosphere... everything was perfect. The food in particular was some of the best Asian cuisine I have had. Make sure to visit when in Vegas!!

Maybe Vegas’ best restaurant

By johnthyne |

In a city filled with celebrity chefs, Michelin stars, and hot venues it’s hard to compete. Fortunately, Zuma doesn’t need to since nobody can match this excellent restaurant that is fantastically fresh both in food and appearance. If you’re looking for tapas, delicious sushi, excellent robata grilled meats and fish, innovative dishes like made to order rice crackers and fantastic service, Zuma has it all. I would put their lime butter and ponzu poached Alaskan king crab leg dish up against any other for the world’s tastiest food and being Vegas I would bet on Zuma! We particularly loved the salmon/tuna tartare, the hirame and chu toro nigiri, the hearty ribs, the hoba leaf wrapped miso black cod, the flat iron steak with chimichurri, and the spinach in sesame. The dinner was so satisfying we didn’t have room for desserts but they are probably equally great. Service was spot on and the orchid laden contemporary Japanese design makes a perfectly comfortable environment. High recommendation for this wonderful restaurant in the Cosmopolitan hotel!

Great food and ambience

By Bjornvw |

Went to Zumba for a business dinner with a good colleague. Good service, food was good, but I must admit the pricing was a bit to the high side compared to the quality of the food. It might also just be Las Vegas.

Perfect date night

By _xoScorpion_ |

Celebrated my bf's birthday here while in Vegas for the weekend.. Everything from the craft cocktails to the appetizers and dinner was amazing! Recommendations: Pork belly skewers, robata corn, potato and steak. Don't waste time, just go! Pricey but worth it

Shocking service

By Jacques M |

The food was great but the waitress lost my credit card for 15 min and couldn’t be bothered to look for it. It wasn’t after the manager came to look for it that they found it. I’ve been to 100s of restaurants and never saw something like this. Very disappointing.

100% TOP

By Juan José |

We have gone to dinner at this restaurant and we really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, decoration, etc. Something that I definitely didn't like is that they wanted to sit us at the end of the restaurant in a room that is part of the restaurant but it is certainly not the best option and I don't recommend it! Fortunately they were able to seat us at a high table next to the drinks bar. We ordered the house serve, which was quite good and highly recommended, the sommelier who served this knows perfectly how to serve a bottle. The service from the waitress and her assistants were phenomenal, they have perfect knowledge of the menu and know everything perfectly. Without a doubt I recommend this restaurant 1000%

Wonderful food and service

By MaruchyX8 |

The selection was so vast that we opted to order a variety and share. Every single roll was amazing. The service was on point. Maria, our charming wait person, provided guidance on the menu and made the experience even more spectacular.

Really disappointed in this

By Marie O |

Really disappointed in this spot. It has a very limited menu. The sushi is really slim. If you like rolls then you have only about 6 to pick from. Nothing creative! We were served soup without a spoon and when we asked for spoons the soup was cold by the time they got it. Not going back

Excellent food

By tasyed786 |

The plates are tapa style, small yet delicious. We tried six different dishes between three of us, the food was great and so was the service. Their lamb chops were excellent, very tender and spicy. The only let down was the dessert, we had the chocolate cake with ice cream. It was extremely dry.

Another Vegas tourist trap. Terrible cost benefit.

By rcperez |

The restaurant is very busy with poor service, employees seems to be in desperate mode all the time running around and not realizing the customers needs attention. Tried for 10m to order a second drink and gave up about it. There is very loud music and screaming chefs from the open kitchens al the time. It is definitely not a place where you feel relaxed, I felt tense most of the time. It is way overpriced for the quality of food they serve. Scallops had sand like grains that stayed in the mouth all the time, sashimis were tiny and had more frozen taste then fresh fish. Terrible cost benefit.

Overrated hot food for the price

By Joe H |

I have visited other Zina’s and have had better food there. I gave this restaurant 4 stars only because of the ambience. The decor and the design are immaculate. I cannot speak for the sushi as I did not order any. I am sure it is of great quality. Te hot food was hot and miss. The Chilean sea bass was ok. The rib eye was not the greatest for the brand and the price. Winners were the fried tofu avocado salad, the asparagus robata, and the pork belly skewers. The edamame comprises a generous portion. Service was quick and decent. For the price, I would go to a different restaurant. You are basically mainly paying for the brand name and the ambience. If your goal is great food, there are less expensive places.

Superb Meal

By jonathb5 |

I go to a lot of Japanese restaurants due to my affinity for the cuisine and comes in a close second to Nobu. Had the Maki roll with salmon which was delicious as was the miso cod with a sweet citrus sauce and another takeoff on Morimoto with the yellow snapper with a slightly less spicy sauce. For desert I tried the coconut custard with passion fruit foam and mango which was delicious. This will definitely be a repeat and is well worth the higher price tab.

Zuma in one word? Unrecommendable.

By Dr Gilbert T |

Zuma in one word? Unrecommendable. We booked weeks in advance specifically for seats at the chef’s counter, only to be dumped right in front of the grill—basically a human rotisserie station. The heat was unbearable, the smell clung to our clothes like a bad decision, and the whole setup felt more like punishment than dining. We asked to be moved, and when they finally relocated us to another counter (far from the inferno), it took a full 30 minutes just to get our drinks. I’ll spare you the rest of the disaster, but let’s just say the night kept spiraling downhill. Bottom line: not worth your time, money, or dry-cleaning bill.

Did not live up to reputation

By mari a |

Went with 3 other couples - service and ambience were excellent The food was average and very overpriced for portion sizes. Some dishes were shockingly teeny portions for one although most meant to be shared- rock shrimp were average and very small portion. The sushi rolls were dry and lacked any flavour. The chicken teriyaki skewers were excellent. The wagyu tomahawk was delishous and good size. Overall this was a very average meal and very overpriced IMO

Trying too hard

By twisteddiva |

Decor very modern and sleek, music a tad too loud., making conversation difficult. Waiter, although quite friendly, went for the hard sell and tried pushing THE most expensive items on the menu and then said we should all have our own dish rather than share. Quite frankly, while the rolls and the Saba were very tasty, our favorite sushi place in Williamsburg does just as good a job, if not better. The Japanese Old-fashioned though was AMAZING! THAT was well worth the price. Would we go back? Probably not.

What a Gem!

By Julie H |

My husband and I stay at The Cosmopolitan every year and this restaurant popped up last year. I’m so glad I scanned Open Table to see current reviews. Take some time to visit Zuma, the food is excellent! Our waiter was James, absolutely superb. There are 22 chefs working behind the scenes (according to James) and the meals reflect that level of attention. Excellent sushi. My husband had spicy lamb and said it was the best he’s had...and he’s a connoisseur of lamb. Presentation is over the top, so is the service. I’m suspect of new places in Vegas, but we will be back. Ask for James. Attentive, well versed but not intrusive. He was a highlight to the meal. Highly recommend Zuma.

Amazing experience!

By davidmad1 |

Amazing experience! Chose Zuma for our Anniversary dinner and I feel it was the best choice by far. We opted for the premium:premium (A5 wagyu upgrade) tasting menu, and all of the food that came to our table, like an 8 course meal, was simply amazing. And the huge dessert tray was to die for. The entire staff, especially our server TJ, was super attentive and very responsive. Everything was performed like a well oiled machine. Will definitely be back as this was truly a stupendous experience.

Great chefs menu, highly recommend

By Mo M |

Celebrated my sons 20th birthday here and Zuma didn’t disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of Boulevard tower at Cosmopolitan Hotel. We had the chefs tasting menu, every dish was amazing, well presented and filling, probably one course too many. Pictures attached of every course. Service was great and a lively atmosphere, the place was full through the night to closing time. It is pricey, but highly recommend going if you like sushi and a fancy night out.

AmaZing

By American Pharaoh |

First time here after hearing so much about it specially their location in Miami , The atmosphere is differently different with an upscale sophisticated trend . Their open kitchen with real wood grill add to the place aroma . First we were little disappointed with the prices vs the quantity but by the end of the meal we were super full and excited , we spent 2 hrs there and did their chief tasting special . It depends if your party drink or not so Budget for price range $100-$200 per person .

Great food! Miserable hostesses.

By MTN C |

Food was amazing as always with Zuma! Great portions and tasty! Our server was great, fast and very attentive. The only let down was the miserable 4 hostess girls on the door. Wow, I’ve never encountered such miserable human beings. Paying the price you pay for Zuma I’d be expected to be warmly welcomed. But the hostess act as if they are better than you.

Excellent food and service

By Rovadia |

Had a quick late dinner at Zuma while staying at the Cosmo and enjoyed everything! Food was excellent, we had the black cod, spicy yellowtail roll and the chocolate lava cake. Service was brilliant!

Zuma Vibe!!!!

By K.Smith |

The atmosphere is excellent, I have never felt a vibe like this in a sushi restaurant. We had previously eaten here. the Japanese Old Fashioned was awesome, ordered 3 of those. Food was absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed 2 sushi rolls. I believe they were the pirikara maguro pirikara hamachi (yellowtail with serrano pepper, avocado and wasabi mayo), Red snapper sashimi and the toro tartare, All were delicious, but the Snapper sashimi was the winner. Zuma exceded our expectations, we will be returning each time we find ourselves in las Vegas

Incredible!!

By TRAVEL1346FAMILY |

Food was mouth watering. Best sushi in Vegas! Tried all other high end places- Loved this meal!!!!! Sat at sushi bar and enjoyed a variety of different dishes and sushi.

Awesome food and service!

By DAC |

The host was great and got us promptly seated although slightly early for reservations. Wagyu beef was amazing, tender, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Three salts and dipping sauce added to the experience. Shrimp appetizer with chili and lime zest was delicious. Unique flavor with good size serving for the price. Too many other foods to mention but all VERY good. Baked potatoe, yes it made the list. It was amazing and had ingredients that enhanced the simple baked potato. The service was outstanding. Each employee played a role in the wonderful experience. I’ll admit I’m a handful in a restaurant as I love to cook and have many questions. I loved that the staff knew a lot about the food but if they didn’t know something they went to find out. The education of staff added to the experience. The only thing that could have possible made this better was greeting the Chef to congratulate him on his meals! I will be back and look forward to trying more dishes and drinks. Another smoked drink perhaps!

Slightly dissapointed..

By Lv2Trav |

Looked forward to dinner after reading such great reviews. Maybe we ordered the wrong items or it was an off night, food was very mediocre. We've had better izakaya at a restaurant by our house.

Clean and delicious flavours - Bring your Wallet... $$$

By Tom D |

Salmon Nigiri, Chicken Teriyaki skewers, Sushi made to order, Salmon Teriyaki, The roast potato with some sauce mixed in, Asparagus skewers and a willingness to adjust the menu for our kids dietary needs sums up our delicious meal. Very high quality in a very well fitted out restaurant. Go there after a big win at the many casinos as the cost was off the charts - But i guess that is Vegas. Go big or go home!

Zoom Zoom Zuma-ing Into An Incredible Dining Experience

By Daniel Lawson |

As soon as you walk in you are transported to a completely different plane of artisanal dinning experiences. As another reviewer wrote, Zuma isn't just a restaurant it's a vibe, because once you're inside and at your table you begin to feel that something is different in all the right ways. The service is impeccable to the point where it's as if your waiter is more of a guide throughout the entirety of your dining adventure. It's hard to recommend specific items without rattling off the entire menu, but if I had to suggest some staples I'd go with the following: Edamame, Ika No Kari Kari Age, Gindara To Ebi No Gyoza, Ise Ebi No Aka Miso, Japanese Grade A5 Robata Beef, plus an assortment of sashimi and sushi never hurts.

Incredible sushi & fish

By VacationKing514 |

Food was incredible and worth every penny. We ordered a few special sushi rolls for 48$ which seemed expensive but WORTH IT! Black cod was amazing. Small portions but really good. We shared everything. Only complaint is that the bartenders don’t free pour. A little cheap on the drinks for Vegas

Wonderful meal at Zuma

Really enjoyed dinner here. Ordered the signature tasting menu. Almost all the dishes were really good. The fried popcorn shrimp were oily however. My only complaint is the service was very fast paced. Too many dishes served at once. Dishes were cleared the moment the last bite was taken. Pace not appropriate for a fine dining restaurant. Atmosphere is lively and restaurant space is beautiful.

If you want to eat sushi, zuma is a sure thing

By Daniela Z |

The level is slightly lower than that of Rome, identical menu, slightly lower prices. The quality remains excellent. I'd say an 8

Excellent choice

By Corrado R |

This restaurant is inside the Cosmo and serves modern-style japanese food. Portions are not generous but cooked very well. Prices are quite high.

Really yummy

We came here end of night and had their calamari which was delicious and not overly breaded or fried. Loved the jalapenos with it. We then got the super fancy roll and it was really really good.

Sushi in Las Vegas

By march19131 |

Great food, service and ambiance. We discovered this restaurant in Rome, Italy. Had a great experience. Zumba in Las Vegas did not disappoint. Located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel , the decor is beautiful, there is background music and the service and food exceptional. One of the best Sushi restaurants we have experienced.

ONE OF OUR VERY FAVORITE VEGAS RESTAURANTS

By Judy H |

We live in Vegas full-time and have dinner on the Strip at least once a week. Zuma in The Cosmopolitan is one of our top favorites. It is a very beautiful restaurant, the staff is very professional and the food is superb. The portions are not large (which is fine by us) but they are superb. The cocktails are divine and my husband's favorite is the Burning History. The music is low enough that you can carry on a conversation. We have visited restaurants with wonderful food and music so loud you had to shout. We don't go back to those. We have never had a bad experience there.

I need a fork

Great restaurant but you will come out hungry unless you order a few dishes. Really friendly staff and honestly the food is amazing even if my chop stick skills let me down.

Underwhelmed

Price does not meet the value. Sushi - tried 3 rolls (rating: 6 out of 10), Signature Ribeye (rating: 5 out of 10), Service (rating 10 out of 10).

DO NOT BOOK HERE, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED - UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF!!!

By S W |

If only I could give 0 star, this place does not warrant any star. I have been to many Zuma locations and I can honestly say Zuma - Las Vegas is so bad! The people that work here definitely don’t represent this brand at all. They need more training in customer service and failing that then replacing. The front of house staff are unprofessional and really rude. When you walk into this restaurant there is a really bad and unwelcoming atmosphere! We was surprised to be able to book a table on the same day (Sat 9th Sep at 7:30pm) and to be fair they had a lot of times available which is usually concerning as on a weekend they should be fully booked. My local Zuma in London this would not be possible as you need to book well in advance. We arrived at 7:25pm and was told our table is getting prepared and told to wait aside. It would have been nice to be offered the bar to have a pre-dinner drink. It was now 7:40pm and I went to the front of house desk, spoke to a really obnoxious lady (blonde haired) and asked for an update on our table. Her relpy was “ you arrived at 7:20 you have only been waiting 7 minutes!”. Then she continued to tap away on her iPad. She couldn’t even get her times right and I couldn’t be bothered arguing with her and using up my energy! She definitely wasn’t fit for purpose and maybe pot washer would have been a better role for this horrible employee. I didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that so we left and went somewhere else. The funny thing is 30 min after we left we got a text message from Zuma saying our table is almost ready. So had we stayed and waited our table would have been over 40 min late. How disgusting is that?! If it was the other way round and we was late for our table they would have given our table to someone else! The staff definitely need to see how London and Mykonos treat their dinners, there is no comparison! These locations would put Zuma - Las Vegas to shame! I would be mortified if my staff was running my business like this, thank god they don’t! I wound not recommend this location. There are so many great restaurants in Las Vegas, so give Zuma - Las Vegas a big pass to avoid disappointment!

Great food, fun atmosphere

By katyap1001 |

We ate at a number of places in Vegas and this was one of my favourites. The food was fresh and good. We did get a bone in gyoza but overall it was excellent. The lady who served us was nice and friendly, without an uptight attitude you can get in these restaurants. Buzzy atmosphere too. Between this and hakassan in Vegas, Zumba was a lot better.

We had reserved a table for a special occasion. Despite confirmation no table...we are busy.

All I can say is WOW

By Selyna B |

Wow, just wow! The food and service of this restaurant is just impeccable! My husband and I were there with some business associates/friends of his souring a convention and I am so glad we came. First let me say, if you are on a tight budget, this is probably not the best restaurant for you to eat at, but amazing food comes at a cost. The salmon pâté was so good and the sushi was wonderful, but I think we could have eaten the Madagascar Shrimp all night long. It is a little loud in the restaurant later in the night but that’s to be expected I think with a restaurant on the strip. I can not wait to visit Zuma again, the atmosphere, the food, and the service has made it a favorite.

Bar dining was a delight!

By kimmysue42 |

We were able to snag 4 seats at the bar on a busy Friday night. Our server- LAUREN was awesome! She was attentive, friendly and even made me an off menu drink which I loved!! It was a cucumber type martini- excellent! We also had the Osaka spritzer & and a whiskey on the rocks. LAUREN gave us samples of this interesting Plantation Pineapple Rum which was also very good. For appetizers we enjoyed the edamame and the gyozas. I would love to come back next time & try their sushi.

Experience Restaurant...huge bill for little but delicious food

By MLMRocksTravel |

There is a reason this restaurant has such a following....and it is hard to get a reservation. The food was outstanding! Super fresh and tasty. The portions were small, and I never did receive my dinner dish (Spicy Beef Tenderloin). The dessert they prepared for my son's 21st birthday made this restaurant 5 stars. If you have smaller appetite's or big wallets....this may be your spot. We left with a $400 bill (3 people including drinks, missing one dinner) and were looking for food 2 hours later. Service was outstanding.

Excellent but too expensive

By BSK1234 |

Fabulous good quality food-helpful servers in terms of how much too order-exceptional taste and a wonderful culinary experience -too bad about how super expensive it ends up being-as you need to order quite a lot of things to feel satisfied -means it is an “occasional treat “ place

Great experience!

By Fae D |

Seven of us had a reservation. I have to admit I was a little nervous about being able to find something I'd like on the menu. The server explained that it was kind of like a tapas restaurant. So we all ordered 2-3 small plates. We had 3 kinds of steaks, 2 orders of sea bass and salmon, tempura vegetables, shitake mushrooms, and roasted potato. Each dish had its own unique flavor and was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. This was definitely one of my favorite meals in Las Vegas.

Ah-Mazing

By Hardrocker8888 |

WOW! My cousin recommended this place. We chose the Signature Omakase. We had 15 dishes plus dessert. What an adventure of taste. So many staff helped with the experience. I’d definitely return to eat here.

The best in Vegas

By Egluccia |

It is my preferred Asian fusion restaurant in Vegas. You cannot miss tofu, kobe beef sliced steak, fatty tuna.. Very busy and loud, but the service fast and friendly. Expensive, at least $100 per person (including tip).

Prepare to Share

By MDDdolphin |

This sister eatery to Zuma Miami is located on the second floor restaurant row of the Cosmo. Paid parking remains an annoyance. Decor is modern Asian inspired with a beautiful natural wood bar and paneling. Slightly too loud for comfortable table conversation, the ambient New Age music loop should be turned down a bit. There is a sushi bar. Service was appropriately attentive and friendly. Dishes are intended to be enjoyed family style, but on the small side. Plan on ordering 2 or 3 dishes per person. The entree dishes such as the sea bass, miso glazed black cod, soft shell crab and ribeye were all simply, but excellently prepared. $30-40 apiece. The grilled shiitake and corn were tasty accompaniments. Dishes are served as they are prepared, one or two at a time. Our only gripe was that at this price point, and in comparison to other Strip restaurants, it would have been nice to be offered some uncharged appetizer; if not bread, some Asian inspired crackers or edamame to enjoy with our wine as we perused the menu would have been appreciated. On the whole, Zuma is one of the really good Asian choices in LV. We will return.

Great

Best restaurant great sushi Service perfect Music good The Cosmopolitan hotel perfect everything was perfect

Satisfies that sushi craving...

By kathyh303 |

Do they put some secret ingredient in sushi that is addictive? Every once in a while I crave sushi and have to go with someone who is an expert at ordering so I don't just order a boring California roll. We sat at the sushi bar because it was very crowded and had great service and selections of great sushi, but don't ask me what I ate!

Great ambience but the food is not as good as the Zuma in NYC, London, Hong Kong, Bangkok or even Dubai

By Samir K |

My daughter and I visited Zuma for dinner in late December. Like many restaurants in Vegas this one has a clubby vibe and unlike Tao and other venues it’s comparatively smaller and does not offer the same pizazz. All in all, it’s an average venue. In my opinion, service was quite slow. We ordered the ribs, miso black cod, shiitake mushroom skewers, miso soup, steamed spinach salad and some nigiris. The black cod was not as flaky and delicate as I’ve experienced in other Zumas. The ribs were quite chewy and did not quite fall off the bone. The shiitake mushrooms were quite nice, with a tangy sauce - I would recommend this as nice low calorie starter. The steamed spinach salad, which is my staple favorite, was great. The nigiris was quite average - not the finest production from Zuma. overall, I wouldn’t highly recommend a visit to this branch of Zuma, it does not live up to the usual Zuma standards.

Zuma Lunch

Unbelievable food and service, hands down the best meal we had in Vegas!! Every dish we had was just amazing just like the London one. Definitely recommend visiting when in Vegas

Get the sushi

By gypsy_bite |

Always have an excellent time while dining at Zuma; absolutely love the secret sushi roll and everything on the menu. Sit at the bar and get front row action to the bar service, you can watch while they make your fancy cocktails.

Not so impressive

By HanniHannover |

Good food albeit debileres with tho much show and not in the quality expected. The sushi rolls were fine but overloaded with heavy mayonnaise chunk. The main dish - spicy tenderloin arrived 7 minutes after the appetizers, which were cold by then ... and the meat itself was not spicy but partly burnt. Dubai is a far better Zuma location.

Bad Experience

By Catererz |

Have been going to Zuma ever since they opened and the food is always great but each time i go the exeperience seems to worsen. They over book so the kitchen is always slammed and the food just comes out when they feel like it and there is no flow or rhythm with the courses anymore . on this occasion all out hot food came before our starters then we had some lovely rice delivered to the table but with nothing to go with it I would always go back but the management her really need to get a grip on service and make sure the experience matches the food.

An Incredible experience

By Ayal V |

You better visit here on an expense account! We were three and the food just kept coming and coming one dish better than the other! The presentation is exquisite and the tastes explode in your mouth! Sea bass, Lobster, Sushi & Wagyu beef! And the dessert, what a creation! The service was very good and we all had a wonderful time!

Contemporary Japanese Cuisine

By James H |

While this restaurant serves wonderful Sushi including a few levels of Toro,it is much more than just your ordinary “Sushi” restaurant, The chef creates delightful dishes to please your pallet. The service is friendly as well as professional and the atmosphere is up lifted. I you are a fan of Japanese cuisine then you will not be disappointed.

Zumostly good

By JayHi96 |

Zuma in Hong Kong is one of my favourite restaurants, so I was keen to check out the Vegas version and it was amazing! The staff were amazing, friendly and engaged and the food was outstanding as always. The black cod never fails to impress, but this was complimented well by dumplings, skirt steak and yellow-tail. The space itself is serene and inviting and a welcome oasis from the craziness of he strip. Probably my new favourite Vegas restaurant

Fresh Sushi, Great Service

By TDC82414 |

We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The decor was lovely, a beautiful restaurant with and carved wood everywhere - from tables, to bar, to wall decor. The ambience was lovely, although the club music was a bit dizzying. The server was knowledgable about the menu and concerned for and accommodating of any food allergies. Not a lengthy menu, but what we did order was fresh and tasty. The chef willingly made my favorite roll that was not a standard on his menu. Our meal did set us back $159.00 - and we weren't drinking that night! If you have the money to spend and are looking for great food and great service, I'd suggest giving this place a try.

This restaurant could write the book on great service

By Molly M |

I attended an event in the private Dining room at Zuma recently and was absolutely awestruck by the whole experience. First, the room was beautifully quiet so much so our group of 14 people could hear from one end of the table to the other. Second the waitstaff was the best I have experienced in any type of restaurant in years. They effortlessly glided around our boisterous group, explaining the many communal dishes layed upon the table, water and beverage glasses were well attended to and their knowledge of the food and beverage served was encyclopedic. To say the food was sublime is an understatement. When in Vegas, taken an opportunity to dine at Zuma in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, you will be glad you did.

Tapas - Japanese Style

By Mitchell O |

Having returned from a 5 week stay in Japan earlier in the year, Zuma was a pleasant surprise. Most American sushi just doesn't live up to the standard you find throughout all of Japan. However, we found Zuma closed that gap tremendously. Although the menu is a little limited, what is on the menu is spot on delicious. Be prepared for a tapas-like experience as the menu is set up to try small plates of entrees. Of course sharing dishes is encouraged and the waitresses continued to take our orders as we tried different dishes. Overall, an excellent experience for food, service and atmosphere.

With this kind of service, spend your money elsewhere!

By Simon Chammah |

We stayed at the Zuma last week on the 4th of July weekend, I've been trying to get a table there for the last 3 times in Vegas, and finally managed to get one, therefor was really excited and looked forward for this one. After a quick glance at the menu, we decided to go with the tasting menu, we were told it would be 5 courses meals with about 15 dishes. The dishes were ok, some stood out more than the others, but as expected from a Zuma name branded restaurant. The food was coming way too fast, the feeling was like they were trying to make you eat and leave, and turnover the table to the next guests, how fast was it? You would get 3 dishes, before even finishin one or two you would get 3 more, and 2 more, until we figured this out and asked the waiter to stop and slow down, we found ourselves eating the meat dishes cold. My recommendation: be attentive to the pace and ask the waiter to try not to go super speed, especially in smaller groups. Service wise, from the waiters it was okay. some dishes were taken too fast before we were done with, some right in time, some were misplaces and we had water spilled on 1 of us from the bowl of ice of 1 of the dishes. Until then everything was still an okay experience we had enjoyed, at the end we asked to talk to a manager before paying in order to provide feedback for the restaurant to improve, something most of places accept and take with gratitude. 3 minutes later the manager was at our table and he approached us very aggressively, literally attacked us verbally and accused us that we do not want to pay the bills. Now come on, do your homework Mr. Manager, we are hotel guests for past 4 days, we have credit card as caution in the system, we attended the other restaurants in the hotel including Blue Ribbon and experience was fine there, did you really believe we intended to walk out without paying? Even after trying to explain you slowly and for 10 minutes, you didn't understand why we called you and after realizing you falsely accused us, and not only he didn't apologize but also the attitude didn't change and kept on being so hostile towards us. So Mr. Manager if your priority is not to create a great experience for your customers, not being attentive to them, not being caring, then even with the best food in the world (which it wasn't) it will not matter. I wouldn't let this manager run anything, let alone the Zuma Restaurant. To sum up, after expecting to dine at the Zuma Vegas for so long, I definitely not recommend you to eat there until a proper management is found for this branch, find a better place where you are wanted to spend your money at. BTW as a disclaimer, most of my reviews in Tripadvisor have been positive, if I did took the time to share a bad experience here there's a true reason behind it.
