Although I have had many experiences in Tibet before, I also wanted to see different snowy peach blossoms in Jiangnan, Tibet, but the season was wrong, and I never had the opportunity to see her intoxicating style and appreciate her charming demeanor.

This time, during the beautiful season of the Nyingchi peach blossom season, I made a special trip to Nyingchi to enjoy the peach blossoms, fulfilling a long-cherished wish for many years. From his hometown of Shantou, Guangdong on March 26, he returned to Shantou on April 4, a total of 10 days before and after.

The brief itinerary of this trip is Shantou - Lhasa - Nyingchi - Milin - Bomi - Ranwu Lake - Lulang - Lhasa - Shantou, including flying to and from Shantou Lhasa; Sightseeing in Nyingchi and other places is to rent a car and drive by yourself, with a self-driving journey of about 2,200 kilometers. In just a few days, I have visited all four main places to see peach blossoms in Nyingchi, including Laru Peach Blossom Village (Gongbu Jiangda County), Gala Peach Blossom Village (Nyingchi Bayi District), Suosong Village (Milin County) in the depths of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon, and Bomi Peach Blossom Valley (Bomi County). Although the chill is not over, these places have become a sea of flowers. This is a "short, fast" journey that is a feast for the eyes and a lot of gains.

weather in Tibet in January and March is still very cold, and due to the season and climate, most of the scenery in other places is not good. Therefore, to see the peach blossoms in Nyingchi, you usually need to make a special trip.

Hurry up and go to bed, tomorrow I will travel all the way and drive more than 500 kilometers to Nyingchi.

Tips

1. To see the peach blossoms in Nyingchi, flying directly to Nyingchi is of course the best choice. However, there are few flights to Nyingchi, and the price of air tickets will be high during the Peach Blossom Festival.After all, Lhasa is the capital city of the province, with more flights and large discounts on air ticket prices.

2. In terms of car rental, there will be more choices in Lhasa, and the price will be cheaper than Nyingchi. Although the distance from Lhasa to Nyingchi is more than 400 kilometers, there is the Linla Expressway, there are not many cars along the way, the scenery is good, and there is no toll, which is really good and convenient.

3. During the Nyingchi peach blossom season, car rental is very popular, so be sure to book a vehicle in advance if necessary. Now the road conditions in Tibet are very good, and it is very convenient to drive.

This time, more than 20 days in advance, I pre-rented a Toyota Highlander 2.0TSUV from Chubb Car Rental on China-TravelNote. At that time, the scheduled pick-up location was to drop off the car at Gongga International Airport, but later because we were staying in a convenient hotel in the city next to the airport, it would be more convenient to contact the car rental company to deliver the car directly to the hotel, and they were happy and delivered the car on time. The car is in good condition, the tires have just been replaced, the car has been washed clean, and the procedures that need to be handled are also very simple. Give it a thumbs up!

I drove the Highlander SUV that I had just taken over, set up the navigation with my mobile phone, and went straight to Laru Peach Blossom Village in Gongbujiangda County, more than 400 kilometers away. From the moment you step into Nyingchi, you will be accompanied by peach blossoms along the way, which is pleasing to the eye and very comfortable. There will be stops from time to time to watch and take photos.

Today, I visited the scenery and scenic spots along the road such as the Xiuba thousand-year-old building complex (Gesar Castle), Opa Village, and the Niyang River. Unfortunately, the peach blossom trees on the hillside of Laru Peach Blossom Village have just begun to bud, and the landscape is average. But the scenery along the way, as well as the partial blooming peach blossoms in many villages, is also overwhelming and lingering, and there is no sense of worthlessness because of the extra tens of kilometers.

Staying at the Vienna Hotel in Nyingchi at night (Nyingchi City Government Riverside Road Store) was also booked 20 days in advance, but the room was already very tight, and I couldn't book the same room for two consecutive nights, and I had to change the room again the next day, which was a bit troublesome, but it was very good to be able to book a room.

Tips

1. Laru Village is on the way to Basuncuo, just a few kilometers away from Basuntso. The scenery along the way is infinite, especially the area around Opa Village, which is worth turning in from the Linla Expressway (nearly 100 kilometers back and forth, and the road conditions are very good).

2. Basuncuo is very beautiful and is a place worth arranging a day or two. Because we have been there before, we didn't arrange time to go in this time.

3. During the Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival, the rooms in hotels and B&Bs here will be very tight, and accommodation must be booked in advance.

Along the way along the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, we visited Yani National Wetland Park, Mirui Township, Pai Town, Buddha's Palm Sand Dune Observation Deck, etc. When I was going to pass through the edge of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon Scenic Area to Suosong Village, I was told that I needed to buy a ticket to the scenic spot to pass.He also visited Tunbai Village and Nanga Bawa Peak Observation Deck, and traveled all the way to Suosong Village.

Patches of peach blossom trees in Suosong Village grow on the shore of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon, with fields nearby, the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon, and snow-capped mountains in the distance, complementing each other, like a fairyland, beautiful and spectacular. At this point in time, the season is still a little early, and the peach blossoms are only about 50% in bloom. But no matter what, the scenery is already beautiful.

In the evening and early the next morning, we were lucky enough to see a little bit of the beautiful scenery of the Nanga Bawa Peak Rizhao Golden Mountain. Although the clouds are still thick, the visibility is not very high, the scene is not very clear, and it is only a few seconds, but it is not easy and exciting.

Staying late at the Milin Guanfengju Inn in Suosong Village is the most expensive accommodation on this journey, and there is no one.

1. Suosong Village is sought after by tourists because it is located deep in the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon and has an excellent location to look at and see Nanga Bawa Peak. Although there are many hotels and B&Bs, the peach blossom blooming period is only about ten days, during which a large number of tourists pour in every day, and accommodation is expensive. The price will generally reach more than 3 or 5 times the usual, and a very ordinary homestay will cost thousands of yuan a night for a room, and it will be booked in full a lot of time in advance.

2. The benefits of living in Suosong Village are: First, if you are lucky, you can have more opportunities to see the beautiful scenery of Nanga Bawa Peak and Rizhao Golden Mountain; The second is to have plenty of time to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery of peach blossoms on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Of course, the biggest drawback is the word "expensive"! Two words "very expensive"!! Three words: "particularly expensive"!!

3. Suosong Village is on the north bank of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon, while the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon Scenic Area is on the south bank. Because I had already visited the Brahmaput Grand Canyon Scenic Area when I came to Tibet before, I did not arrange time to go to the scenic spot this time. Nanga Bawa Peak, which is more than 7,700 meters above sea level, also appears and disappears, finally allowing us to see her whole appearance. Although the weather is not very good and the clarity is not high, it is very lucky and very rare. You must know that Nanga Bawa Peak is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, and only more than 60 days a year show its true face, so it is also known as the "Shame Peak". We also came here three times before we saw its beauty. I didn't see anything the first time; the second time I saw only a little; This is the third time, and I finally see the whole picture. On the way, we came to a place called Milin Gongzun Dem Farm, which is on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. The location here is superior and open. After getting up in the morning, I hurried to the front desk to inquire about the situation, and the bad news was that the traffic jam on the mountain was serious last night, and some guests staying in the same homestay came from the direction of Nyingchi yesterday afternoon, and arrived at 5 o'clock in the morning, and arrived at 7 o'clock in the morning even later; The good news is that there is no more snow on the mountain, the weather is gradually improving, and the snow on the road will gradually melt in the afternoon, and it will be safer to pass by this time, but the car needs to be equipped with snow chains.

After learning of these situations, hurry up and prepare, first, go to the gas station to fill up the car; The second is to buy snow chains for backup. Who knew that the snow chains in the small shop had been swept away early in the morning. Fortunately, with the help of enthusiastic people, I finally bought a pair of snow chains.

While waiting for the snow chain to arrive, I walked around the nearby Lulang Alpine Ranch and Tashigang Village and took a few photos. As soon as I got the snow chain, I immediately set off from Lulang, thinking that I could get to Lhasa before 4 p.m., and then go to the Potala Palace Square to take pictures. Every time I come to Tibet, I will go to the Potala Palace Square to take pictures.

But it backfired, and the big traffic jam not only canceled all of today's itinerary plans, but also had to drive for several hours at night to return to Lhasa. Before 11 o'clock in the morning, we arrived at the mountain, where there was already a long queue of vehicles on the mountain, occasionally moving, but soon they were motionless. In this way, in the next 6 hours, I walked about 20 kilometers intermittently. Fortunately, not far from the Sejila Mountain Pass, I left the traffic jam.

Fortunately, 10 days before we left for Tibet, we insisted on taking "Nordicon capsules" (the main ingredient is rhodiola) every day, and everyone was safe.
