Day 1 2022-01-09 Shanghai-Chengdu

Visit Wenshu Monastery

Wenshu Monastery was first built during the Sui Dynasty (605-617). King Yang Xiu of Shu named it Xinxiang Temple after the "holy nun". In the fifth year of Huichang (845), Emperor Wuzong of Tang Dynasty suppressed Buddhism and the temple was destroyed. Emperor Xuanzong ascended the throne (847) and restored it. It has coexisted with the world for more than 800 years. It was completely destroyed in the first year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1644). Legend has it that in the Qing Dynasty, someone saw a red light at night. The government sent people to investigate and saw the image of Manjusri Bodhisattva in the red light. Therefore, in the 36th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1697), funds were raised to rebuild the temple and renamed it Wenshu Monastery. Emperor Kangxi wrote the two words "Konglin" with his own hand and bestowed the imperial seal "敕仕空林". Emperor Kangxi's calligraphy is still preserved in the temple.

Day 2 2022-01-10 Pengzhen Old Teahouse, Yingjing Casserole

Pengzhen Old Street, the internet is famous for the teahouse and the old people drinking tea.

Yingjing Sandware is located around the ruins of the ancient city of Yandao, nestled between mountains and water. It sits on the third terrace on the south bank of the Ying River, approximately 40 meters above the water. It faces Zhongjun Mountain to the south, Qingxia Dam to the north, Dagu Creek to the east, and the steep banks of the Ying River to the west.

The primary raw material for Yingjing Sandware is clay, commonly known as white clay. It is yellowish-white, fine-textured, and extremely sticky. It is pollution-free and free of toxic and harmful elements, making it ecologically sound. This clay is unique and unique to Yingjing Ancient City.

Depart after breakfast, driving along the Yaxi-Yakang Expressway. Arriving at [Lengqi Town] at noon, we transferred to the scenic shuttle bus at Changhaizi to reach Niubei Mountain.

At the top of Niubei Mountain Camp, the mountain was shrouded in fog due to snow. Sitting in the camp, we quietly waited for sunset.

The accommodation at Niubei Mountain is extremely cold. It looks good but it’s not very livable. It’s much worse than the pictures. Don’t go there in winter. The scenery is not good and you will get altitude sickness. It’s also very cold.

Day 4 2022-02-12 Niubei Mountain Tagong Grassland

Due to a night of snowfall and the lack of emergency measures at the scenic spot, we were forced to wait until the afternoon before descending. We were originally planning to go to Yuzixi, but that was too late, so we stayed at Tagong Grassland. We specially arranged to stay near the best photo spots for capturing the stars above the Yala Snow Mountain. Due to altitude sickness, we went to bed early and didn't get to take any starry night photos.

Day 5, 2022-01-13: Yala Snow Mountain Sunrise, Moshi Park Zhonglu Tibetan Village

The next morning, we went to Tagong Grassland to capture the sunrise over the Yala Snow Mountain.

The yak climbed to the top of the mountain, and the snow-capped mountains were right in front of you and at your feet.

Day 6 2022-01-14 Middle Tibetan Village Yangrong Had

In the morning, take photos of the sunrise in the Tibetan village. After that, head north and arrive at the Tibetan village Yangrong Had via Jinchuan.

The homestay we stayed in was very warm, with air conditioning, electric blankets, and spacious rooms.

Day 7 2022-01-15 Dagu Glacier Gulugou

After breakfast, we set off for the beautiful filming location of "The Captain" [Dagu Glacier]. This is the youngest mountain glacier in the world.

It is also the snow-capped mountain crossed by the Red Army during the Long March. This new internet celebrity is famous for the [World's Highest Cableway]. We took the cableway directly to the top of the glacier at a height of 1,500 meters (the cable car top is 4,860 meters above sea level) and went to the [World's Highest Café]. Due to the high altitude, we did not dare to drink coffee, but ordered a drink and enjoyed the beautiful scenery while drinking.

Although the lake was frozen because of winter, the scenery was still beautiful. I want to come back to see it in autumn.

The elderly in the village seemed to lead leisurely lives and played cards with great enthusiasm. Some even acted as tour guides, sharing the village's history and anecdotes with great eloquence. It was very interesting.
