Sichuan boasts abundant and high-quality water resources, making it a great choice for producing high-quality liquor. Wuliangye, Luzhou Laojiao, Mianzhu Jiannanchun, Quanxing Daqu, and Gulinlang are all well-known Sichuan brands.
Common panda souvenirs include dolls, pendants, notebooks, and postcards. Panda logos and souvenirs can be found everywhere in Chengdu, including the airport, hotels, Jinli, Kuanzhai Alley, and the Panda Base. Popular stores like Panda House and Panda Post Office sell popular peripheral products.
There are also several gift shops in the panda base. The most special ones are the handicrafts made from panda feces, such as notebooks, sticky notes, bookmarks, etc., which have caused quite a sensation in Chengdu. You can buy unique souvenirs and support the cause of protecting giant pandas.
Sichuan Opera and the Three Kingdoms period are two of Chengdu's most iconic symbols, making them a truly meaningful gift for friends. Items like opera character masks, paper-cuts, hanging ornaments, Three Kingdoms figurines, and bookmarks are all reasonably priced, generally ranging from 10 to 50 yuan each. Shu embroidery, also one of China's four famous embroidery styles, boasts a wide variety of patterns and high quality. Visit the gift shop of the Chengdu Shu Brocade Research Institute (Shujiang Jinyuan), near Du Fu Thatched Cottage, for handmade brocades of exquisite craftsmanship and artistic value, with prices ranging from tens to hundreds of yuan.
Bamboo weaving is an ancient folk art unique to Sichuan. Porcelain-based bamboo weaving is a unique local handicraft in Chengdu. Fine bamboo threads and soft bamboo strips are woven tightly around porcelain. These decorative items can be found in areas like Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley.
This is a well-reputed shop in Chengdu selling high-end panda-themed toys and gifts. They sell a wide variety of panda-themed plush toys, clothing, shoes, hats, backpacks, keychains, ornaments, stationery, and other original designs that are hard to find elsewhere. The quality is excellent, making them a great choice for souvenirs or gifts for friends. Prices are a bit high. Photography is not allowed inside the shop.

Shujiang Brocade Institute, formerly the Chengdu Shu Brocade Factory, boasts over 50 years of history.
