The Back Mountain of Qingcheng is located behind the Qingcheng Mountain. Although the palaces in the Back Mountain are not as popular as those in the Front Mountain, they are quieter and cleaner, with more natural landscapes.
It is especially suitable for those who like leisure hiking and mountain climbing. Walking along the mountain path, you will feel very comfortable with the blooming mountain flowers, waterfalls and springs.
The main scenic spots in the back mountain of Qingcheng include Tai'an Ancient Town, Santan Mist Spring, Longyin Gorge Plank Road, Golden Whip Rock, Youyi Village and Baiyun Temple.

I went to the back mountain in the afternoon and only visited a private club and a temple. It felt good. I didn't stay long because I signed up for a small group and the itinerary was half a day. The tour guide gave me some wine lees, which was the first time I ate them. It was delicious. The place to take pictures in the club was also very good. There weren't many people, and the feeling of tourism was just right. Next time I go, I will go to the back mountain to get a guide and try it for a day.
The main purpose of the back mountain is to enjoy the scenery. The winding paths leading to secluded places are the portrayal of this place, which is very artistic.
The whole journey is quite long. If you don't stay overnight, pay attention to the time of going down the mountain. You can't see too late. The road is steep and slippery when it rains. I dropped my handbag when going down the mountain. Fortunately, I hooked it on a branch and barely reached it. I also dropped a selfie stick.
Suitable for outdoor shooting!!! Although we had poor equipment and poor acting skills, we had a lot of fun~
Among all the famous mountains I have visited, this one has the best water scenery. Above Feiquangou and below Wulonggou, the water keeps flowing all the way, and the movement and stillness are different. The scenery is better than the previous mountain, like a paradise on earth.
The scenery behind Qingcheng Mountain is beautiful and the environment is quiet, making it a good place to escape the summer heat. However, the scenery lacks characteristics and there are many farmhouses, which detracts from the quiet scenery.
The route to the back mountain is relatively complicated, and there are many ways to walk. Here are a few for reference
Half-day route: Tai'an Ancient Town - Wulonggou - Youyi Village - (Jinli Cableway) - Tai'an Ancient Town
Full climbing route: Tai'an Ancient Town - Wulonggou - Youyi Village - Baiyun Temple - Baiyun Ancient Village - Cuiying Lake - Feiquangou - Tai'an Ancient Town
Bixi Solo Route: Tai'an Ancient Town - Wulonggou - Youyi Village - (Baiyun Cableway) - Baiyun Ancient Village - Baiyun Temple - Baiyun Ancient Village - Cuiying Lake - Feiquangou - Tai'an Ancient Town
Of course, the above routes are all circular routes, and you can also go in the opposite direction, but Wulonggou is relatively steep, so it is recommended to go up rather than down.
Here are the times we travel between the points (at a moderate speed) for reference only:
Mountain Gate - 30 minutes - Wulonggoukou - 30 minutes - Santan Wuquan - 1.5 hours - Youyi Village
Baiyun Ancient Village-40min-Baiyun Temple
Baiyun Ancient Village - 1h - Cuiying Lake - 1h - Tai'an Ancient Town (Weijiang Cable Bridge)
In addition, I heard from the proprietress of Youyi Village that it takes about two hours to hike from Youyi Village to Baiyun Temple, but I have not verified it in person.
Depart from Chengdu at 7am, take the 9:13 Xipu to Qingcheng Mountain express train, turn left at the exit of the station to the No. 3 platform of the parking lot and take a minibus to the back mountain of Qingcheng. The round-trip ticket is 25 yuan. It takes about half an hour to reach the scenic spot. Walk a few minutes to the ticket office, and then walk about ten minutes to Tai'an Ancient Town. The route is from Feiquangou to Cuiying Lake (it costs two yuan to cross the river) - Baiyun Ancient Village - Baiyun Temple - Wofo Cave - Youyi Village - Wulonggou. There is no cable car in the whole journey, which took 6 and a half hours. Start from Weijiang Cable Bridge at 10:30 and arrive at Baiyun Temple at 1:00. There are 20 minutes of cumulative rest along the way. Rest for half an hour at Baiyun Temple, start to go down the mountain at 1:30, and arrive at the next stop of Baiyun Cableway at 2:30, which only takes an hour. Then it is Youyi Village. If you can't hold on here, there are black cars parked next to it. You can take a black car directly down the mountain, but you will miss many attractions. The road along the Longyin Gorge plank road was very cool. Because there was a lot of water on a section of the stairs, I took off my shoes, but my pants were still a little wet. Then I passed the Santan Wuquan and went to Wulonggou. I rested for half an hour on the way down the mountain. It was 4:30 when I walked to the main road, and 4:50 when I walked back to the bus stop. There is a shuttle bus from Wulonggou to Tai'an Ancient Town, which costs 5 yuan per person, but it is actually unnecessary because you still have to walk a distance before you can meet a bus. The minibus goes up the mountain on the front mountain road, and goes to Daguan Town when you return to the high-speed rail station, which also takes about half an hour. Catch the 17:52 train back to Xipu. It is recommended to go up Feiquangou and down Wulonggou. The slope from Baiyun Temple to Wulonggou is very steep. It will be very strenuous to go up the mountain, but you should pay attention to going down slowly when going down the mountain, otherwise it will hurt your knees. It is necessary to bring a hiking pole.
There is another attraction this afternoon, visit the Jie Zi Ancient Town on the back mountain of Qingcheng Mountain.
Jiezi Town in Chongzhou, Chengdu, is located at the foot of Fengqi Mountain, 25 kilometers northwest of Chongzhou City, and is connected to the back mountain of Qingcheng. It has the benefits of beautiful mountains and rivers, and there are 32 temples and other historical sites centered on the ancient temple Guangyan Temple of the Jin Dynasty. Jiezi is an ancient town with a long history. It was named [Hengqu Town] during the Five Dynasties, and was named because it was across the Weijiang River. There are the ancient temple of the Jin Dynasty---Guangyan Temple, Fengqi Mountain Tourist Scenic Area, a thousand acres of virgin forest, a thousand-year-old ginkgo, a thousand-year-old ancient nan, an ancient tower from the Qing Dynasty, a street of ancient buildings in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, the site of the uprising of the national hero Wang Xiaobo in the Song Dynasty, the former residence of Tang Qiu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, the ancient dragon pond with magical legends, Wuguituo, Yunwu Cave, etc. There are more than 20 cultural relics and historical sites in the town.
The back mountain of Qingcheng is very beautiful, and the tickets are very cheap, it is worth a visit
The tickets are really cheap and the scenery is really beautiful~
Qingcheng Mountain is divided into the front mountain and the back mountain. The front mountain is famous for its Taoist temples, and the back mountain is famous for its scenery. After going there, I found that the scenery of the back mountain is more beautiful, just as the old saying goes - Qingcheng is the most secluded place in the world!
It was raining heavily when we arrived at the back mountain. We walked through the ancient town of Tai'an at the foot of the mountain and started climbing. For the locals in Chengdu, this is a good place for them to travel around. Without the hustle and bustle of the front mountain, it is good to stay here for one night.
Qingcheng is the most secluded place in the world. It is most beautiful when it is foggy or sunny.
The entrance to the back mountain is very sloppy
Tickets: 25 yuan/person
After entering, the only place you can visit is Tai'an Ancient Town
The mountain road is steep and the water flows fast. At the foot of the mountain is the ancient town of Tai'an with a strong commercial atmosphere. If you climb the mountain, there will be less commercial damage and the overall scenery is good. It is worth a visit if you want to see the scenery.
The front mountain of Qingcheng Mountain is dominated by Taoist culture, while the back mountain is dominated by natural scenery. The scenery is pleasant. There are restaurants in Tai'an Ancient Town. The seasonal wild vegetables are very delicious. Of course, the most famous Qingcheng Mountain bacon, sausage, and bacon ribs must not be missed! Tickets are 20 per person
We arrived in the afternoon in winter. We wandered around Tai'an Ancient Town, but didn't climb any mountains. It was boring. Maybe it's better for people who like to climb mountains to come in summer!
It is a place for locals to relax, cool off, eat and stay on weekends.
There is nothing special about it, so tourists from other places don't need to go there! Tai'an Ancient Town can be visited in 20 minutes, and the entrance fee is 20 yuan.
Save time and eat Chengdu!
The scenery is average, but the mountain climbing is not difficult. There are many flat roads up and down. The air is fresh and it is suitable for weekend exercise and lung cleansing. The picture is a winter scene taken at the end of December. It may be more beautiful in summer.
Open from 8am to 5.30pm, how to enjoy the starry sky🤔
The back mountain is famous for its beautiful mountains, clear waters and fresh air. It is a good place for people from Dujiangyan and the surrounding areas of Chengdu to escape the summer heat.
As a popular tourist attraction, Qingcheng Mountain is a must-visit when you go to Chengdu. Although the altitude is not high, the scenery inside is still very beautiful. Designers who do not want to go to high altitudes but still want to take pictures of the beautiful mountain scenery can choose Qingcheng Mountain.
Although [Qingcheng Back Mountain] is not as famous as the front mountain [Qingcheng Mountain]
However, the "back mountain" is indeed very beautiful, and its popularity is far greater than that of the "front mountain".
Although the temples and incense in the Qingcheng Back Mountain are not as popular as those in the Front Mountain
But it is even better in terms of quietness and cleanliness, and the natural scenery is charming
The back of Qingcheng Mountain is divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower. The middle and lower parts are separated by a lake with clear and turquoise water. If you want to continue to move forward at the lake, you must pay a ferry fee, which is not expensive, 2 yuan per person.
After crossing the lake, you will arrive at the middle of the back mountain of Qingcheng Mountain. The scenery in the middle is similar to that in the lower part, with the same overlapping mountains and beautiful scenery. Please use your imagination. The upper part of the back mountain is where the Buddha is located. There are many temple ruins here, and there is a Baiyun Temple.
After checking your ticket, walk through Tai'an Ancient Town and take a small electric car to the trailhead for 5 yuan. If you don't take the car, you have to drive 2-3km, which feels like a waste of energy. The battery car only takes 5 minutes to get there.
The cable car driver said: If you don’t take the cable car and rely entirely on walking, the climb will take about 6-7 hours.
There are mountains, water and forests, you can walk and take pictures.
The cable car down the mountain is divided into two sections, with a 20-minute descent in between.
The main attraction is the natural scenery. The mountain is a bit steep, and there are waterfalls all the way, which is worth seeing. There are two paths up the mountain. When you go down the mountain, you have to take a long cable car. Overlooking the mountains and forests, you will feel relaxed and happy. You really have a desire to retreat to nature!
There aren't as many Taoist temples on the back mountain of Qingcheng as there are on the front mountain, but because there are fewer people and tourists, it is even more quiet. It is said that the mountain is equally quiet, and the natural scenery is charming.
Walking along the mountain path, you will see a field of blooming mountain flowers and endless waterfalls on both sides; looking up, you will see steep cliffs and a line of skylight and cloud shadows; suddenly, the plank road twists and turns with no end in sight; suddenly, there is a village surrounded by mountains and covered with green grass.
The front mountain is mainly composed of various Taoist temples, while the back mountain is full of natural scenery. If you have enough time, it is best to stay in Qingcheng Mountain for one night so that you can visit both the front and back mountains at the same time.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the bus station to the gate of Qingcheng Mountain. If you choose the scenic area shuttle bus, the waiting time for the bus during the National Day is at least 30 minutes.
Qingcheng Mountain has discounted tickets. But unlike Dujiangyan, where you can just show them to the ticket seller, you need to register at the second floor of the ticket office first, and then you can bring your voucher to exchange for tickets.
The back mountain of Qingcheng is said to be a pure natural landscape. The road to the mountain is also repaired and convenient. There are trails and cable cars. If you are tired, you can take the cable car up and down the mountain. In addition to climbing the mountain, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are waterfalls and streams to make the climbing process more comfortable, not too tiring and boring! I personally prefer natural landscapes, so I chose to climb the back mountain! There is a unified parking lot at the foot of the back mountain, which is very large. It was drizzling that day, so not many people came to climb the mountain. I also passed by many restaurants that eat spring water chicken on the way up the mountain!
The process of climbing the mountain can be summed up in one word: green. Green is everywhere. The foggy weather gives it a fairy-like feeling with clouds and mist covering the mountains. It is said that Bai Suzhen, the White Snake, who lived at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain, also cultivated into a spirit here, which adds a kind of mythological color to this place!
Actually, I usually don’t like climbing mountains, but I walked the whole way up the mountain without taking the cable car. I feel that some scenery can only be better appreciated by walking. Although I am a little afraid of water and heights, I climbed higher and higher on the way up the mountain. There was water below, and I really didn’t dare to look down. The road was particularly narrow. It really took me a breakthrough to overcome a lot of psychological obstacles!
Halfway up the mountain, I was really tired and thirsty. There were locals selling yacon on the roadside. It was the first time I saw it. The small ones cost five yuan, and the big ones cost ten or fifteen yuan. I bought one and tried it. It really quenched my thirst. I felt my lungs were clear and I immediately felt energetic! These are all grown by their own family. In fact, think about it. No wonder people who live in the mountains live long. They breathe fresh air every day and climb mountains all day! When I saw an elderly person who couldn't walk anymore, there was a person with a stretcher, who let him sit on it and carried him. It was really not easy!
If you want to go to the top of the mountain, you have to pass Yingcui Lake. The lake is not particularly big, but the only means of transportation is this boat, and the ticket price is two yuan per person!
After passing Yingcui Lake, it’s not far to the top of the mountain. Because there was too much fog below, I couldn’t see clearly. It felt like I was in heaven!
I was really tired of walking down the mountain, so I chose to take the cable car down the mountain. I only chose one section of the route. The one-way cable car ticket seemed to be 25 yuan!
This is too much of a challenge for me. I didn't dare look down the whole time. If I could walk anymore, I definitely wouldn't have sat down. It's too scary!
After some calculations, the whole climb and cable car ride took about five hours in total. If I had climbed the whole way down, it would probably take about seven hours. Although it was quite tiring, there were mountains, water, and pavilions along the way to rest, so I didn't feel particularly tired!
It's a China-TravelNote tour group, with bus pick-up and drop-off, tour guide explanation, and no shopping.
Qingcheng is the most secluded place in the world, and I came here for "Bai Suzhen under Qingcheng Mountain", haha. I like climbing mountains and taking the cable car up and down. The advantage is that it saves effort, but the disadvantage is that I miss a lot of places.
You have to pay for the electric car and the cable car. The scenery along the way is very nice. It would definitely be better if there were fewer people.
This place is suitable for all ages. If you are busy working in the city, it is a good choice to use your weekends to climb the mountain and relax your tense nerves! The air is fresh! There are many small waterfalls during the climb! It's really good! And there is a section where you can take a short bamboo boat, haha! It's very pleasant! But there are a lot of people! I didn't eat much of the local snacks when I went there, because I brought them with me! The snacks should be similar! (I think)
It looks like a Taoist mountain, and the mountain gate also has a solemn color scheme.
The mountains are lush and green.
The water is clear and turquoise.
The bridge is rickety.
The way down the mountain was harder than the way up, but the twists and turns made it very secluded. There was even a section where there were only three of us, as if it was a closed space, isolating us from all the chaos.
There are many carpooling private cars at the foot of the mountain, priced at 15 yuan per person, which go all the way to the parking lot at the back of the mountain.
It is said that the scenery of the back mountain of Qingcheng Mountain is beautiful, and the ticket is only 20. We entered the park at 4:30, took a cable car from the back mountain, and then went down Wulonggou. The whole journey ended at 8 o'clock. Along the way, we ate watermelons and cucumbers happily. The scenery in the mountains is the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is really worth the trip. I strongly recommend staying here for one night.
There are two ways to climb the back of Qingcheng Mountain, one is Wulonggou and the other is Feiquangou. The scenery on the ticket was taken in Wulonggou. Locals said Wulonggou is the most beautiful and you can go there first. But we thought the best scenery should be left for last. It turned out that we were right. We climbed up from Feiquangou. There were waterfalls and streams all the way. Friends who like to play with water have a benefit and can play with water, but the water in the mountains is still relatively cold. Do it according to your ability. There are merchants selling food (the price is more conscientious) and a small pavilion for rest on the way up. It is recommended to store some dry food for yourself so that you can eat at any time. It is best to carry the garbage down after eating. If you don’t carry it, the patrol personnel will help you carry it down. Everyone is responsible for protecting the environment. In a blink of an eye, we arrived at Cuiyingtan, which can be regarded as a turning point (those who are not physically fit can go down the mountain and return the same way). There is no road in this place (don’t think that there will be a road if more people walk there, it’s impossible). There is another means of transportation here, the ferry, hahahaha, it is a ferry, the ticket price is 2 yuan per person (cash), come early and the boat will be full (it’s the first time in my life that I feel a little interesting to take a ferry halfway up the mountain). Baidu 5min to the other side, continue to climb the mountain.
The second turning point is the Baiyun Cableway. Some of the friends who have climbed here may want to go down. Save some energy and take the 25-minute open-top cable car (I didn't take it or ask the fare) down to Youyi Village (I will explain this place later). We continued to climb up and reached the top of Baiyun Temple in one breath (4 hours). After a short rest at Baiyun Temple, we continued to go down the mountain. The roads in these places are not easy to walk on, and there is also water and it is slippery.
Qingcheng is a very quiet place in the world. Although it is not far away, the last time I went there was more than ten years ago. . .
The scenery is beautiful, uphill and downhill, it is worth the trip.
In fact, the scenery at the back of Qingcheng Mountain is very beautiful. If you have enough time, you can spend a whole day there. There are also a variety of snacks!
The front of Qingcheng Mountain is mainly for cultural scenery, while the back is for natural scenery. The mountains are of the same origin and full of spiritual energy.
The ticket price for the back mountain is much cheaper than that for the front mountain, which is very suitable for mountain climbing and exercise.
There are many Taoist temples in the front mountain, and the scenery in the back mountain is beautiful, so we went directly to the back mountain. People with good physical strength are recommended to take the cable car up or down one way, and the other way to Wulonggou, where the scenery is better. We chose the Jinli cable car for a round trip. There is still 2 kilometers from the exit of the upward cable car to Youyi Village. Don’t underestimate these two kilometers. It takes about 40 minutes to walk. The last train for the downward cable car is at 5 o'clock, so manage your time well.
It was drizzling that day, and the weather became very cold. I was shivering in a short-sleeved shirt. But after I started climbing, I gradually stopped feeling cold, because... the mountain was too steep! Many steps were even tilted at 60 degrees, and I had to hold an umbrella, and I was trembling all over. At that time, I blamed myself for not doing a good strategy. I didn't know that the back mountain of Qingcheng was so high. I climbed the steep slopes up and down the mountain for about five hours, and my knees were shaking. But in fact, after going down the mountain, I felt that fortunately I didn't estimate the hardship of climbing the mountain, because the mountains and waters seen from the Wulonggou climbing, the Baiyun cableway that crossed three mountains from the top of the mountain, and the lush greenery coming down from Feilonggou, now think of it, they are all worth the hard work of climbing. The back mountain of Qingcheng is very beautiful. When you look up, the green trees cover the sky, waterfalls can be seen everywhere, and the water is clear green with a built-in filter. This place is really fairy-like.
I didn't go to the front mountain, but the scenery of the back mountain is superb! There are mountains, water and bamboo rafts, but the weather is not very good, so I can't sit on the bamboo raft or step on the water. The mountain is not very high, so climbing it is not very tiring. The ticket is 20 yuan, super good~~
I listened to the advice of fellow hikers and went up the mountain from "Wulonggou", took the "Baiyun Cableway" at "Youyi Village" to the other side of the mountain, and came back through Feiquangou. It took 5 hours at a normal speed and the difficulty was moderate. The only thing was that I had to control the speed when going down the mountain and not go too fast. Although it was easier to go down the mountain, it would cause greater damage to my knees.
Qingcheng is the most secluded place in the world, but it is not just quiet. The rapid flow of the spring is no less than that of the Minjiang River, roaring in the forest.
Qingcheng Mountain produces green tea and cliff honey.
The guide said that the back hill is fun. But our actual feeling is...isn't this just climbing a mountain?! Excuse Me?!
From the entrance of the scenic area, you need to pass through the ancient town of Tai'an and walk across a "Weijiang Cable Bridge" to reach the cableway. The cable car is a little old and it's a bit scary when you sit on it. There are several sections with very fast speeds. The scenery along the way is pretty good.
In fact, up to this point, we still think it is good... the mountains are nice, the water is nice... After getting off the cable car, the four of us were dumbfounded. Climb... a mountain...? ? ? As the saying goes, there is no end in sight... Everyone took out their phones and started a round of Baidu. The conclusion is that we have to climb a mountain. The cable car at the back of the mountain is divided into two sections, and the fees are separated. Cable car-climb one section-climb-climb another section-top of the mountain.
Well, now that we are here, let’s climb.
The temperature on the mountain is not high, but rather cool. The only problem is that the mountain is high. After climbing to the pavilion halfway up the mountain, the four of us exchanged glances and quickly calculated the price of the two sections of the cableway, the possibility of climbing to the second section of the cableway, the viewability of the mountaintop scenery and the time, and the conclusion was - give up. Moreover, we consulted the merchants in the pavilion, who said that there was nothing interesting on the mountain, just an ancient village.
Are there any stories about my brother Leslie Cheung?
I booked it on the "Chengdu Scenic Area Direct Bus" one day in advance. The ticket + bus ticket method, the tour guide will explain the tour route to us during the drive, and we can travel freely after arriving at the destination. Qingcheng Mountain is a Taoist holy place and a famous summer resort. To be honest, the whole mountain area is filled with a fairy atmosphere, which is super suitable for cultivating immortals. My friend looked at me with contempt and said, this is called negative oxygen ions.
Some of the mountain roads were actually very difficult to walk on, very steep, the stairs were very narrow and uneven, and the mountain was humid and the roads were very slippery. Coupled with the decline in physical strength, it sometimes felt very dangerous. The cable car went down the mountain. It took more than 5 hours to climb up the mountain, and only 10 minutes to go down the mountain.
The back of Chengshan Mountain is mainly natural environment, the mountain is more majestic, the water is clearer, and there are not so many people. The back of Qingcheng Mountain is very large, and it happened that the cableway was under maintenance, so everything was done on foot today. It is not difficult to go to the back of Qingcheng Mountain. You can buy the high-speed rail ticket from Xipu to Qingcheng Mountain online, and then transfer to the 101 bus to the main gate of the back of Qingcheng Mountain according to the prompts after arriving at the station. The high-speed rail ticket is 10 yuan per ticket, and the 101 bus is 25 yuan round trip. On the way, many people will ask you whether you want to take a private car to the main gate of the back of Qingcheng Mountain. Personally, I suggest taking a regular tourist bus for safety.
Basically, we visited all the major scenic spots, but due to time constraints (mainly because we were afraid of missing the high-speed train), we did not climb to the top.
Elegant and quiet, coming here makes people feel relaxed and refreshed
A place for leisure hiking, with a good natural environment. It takes about 6-8 hours to hike up and down the whole journey
It's very cool in summer and the water is really clear... I haven't climbed to the top of the mountain yet. The ticket to the back mountain is only 20
Take the train from Chengdu Station or Xipu Station to Qingchengshan Station. There are minibuses to the back mountain at the bus station, priced at 13 yuan per person.
The accommodation can deliver you directly to the entrance of the mountain for free before 8 am if you can get up early. But it also depends on the store. The bus stopped at the door of a certain store. They all offered the same price and offered free tickets to the scenic area as a discount. Later, when we went down the mountain, the driver didn't give us change for the tickets we bought, and asked us to go to this store to buy things and change the change. If we didn't buy anything, huh!
The natural scenery is nice. I personally like Feiquangou, which has many waterfalls, although there are no large ones. The Internet seems to recommend Wulonggou more, which has fewer waterfalls, but the ones are so large that some people go there specifically for that group of waterfalls.
The normal route should be from Feiquangou to Cuiying Lake, Baiyun Temple, and Wulonggou down the mountain, and the boat ticket is 2 yuan. In fact, we encountered boat repairs at the lakeside, and they said that it would be repaired at noon, so we had to go up the mountain in the direction of Youyi Village, which required an extra 45 minutes of walking. The route was very entangled. In the end, we went up the mountain by the cable car in Youyi Village, gave up the scenic spots such as the Water Curtain Cave by the lake, and went directly to Baiyun Temple, and then went down the mountain in Wulonggou. In addition, there is a lack of communication within the scenic area. Many tourists take the cable car from the foot of the mountain to Youyi Village, and then walk 45 minutes to prepare for the boat ride. Don’t the cable car staff remind you that the boat is broken? A large number of tourists have gone the wrong way. The signboards in the scenic area are not very clear. There are also no reminders at both ends of the maintenance section. Just like the maintenance of the cruise ship, tourists remind each other to avoid going the wrong way.
To go from the back mountain to the front mountain, the public transportation is the minibus, which will pass by the front mountain and you can get off. There is no accommodation at the entrance of the front mountain, but there is some inside the scenic area.
The scenery is beautiful, but for southerners, having seen so many mountains and rivers, it is not uncommon!
Qingcheng Mountain is located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, 68 kilometers east of Chengdu City and 10 kilometers southwest of Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. The scenic area covers an area of 200 square kilometers, and the highest peak, Laojun Pavilion, is 1,260 meters above sea level. Qingcheng Mountain is divided into the front mountain and the back mountain. Surrounded by undulating peaks and lush forests, it enjoys the reputation of "Qingcheng is the most secluded place in the world".
The scenery at the back of the mountain is very nice. Climbing the mountain will be tiring, but you can also take the cable car.
Just like what someone said before, the commercial development is too much. If you go there, don't take the bus. It's not as flexible as illegal cars (or taxis) (it depends on luck whether it's a rip-off or not, just negotiate the price carefully in advance), and it's only less than 10 yuan more expensive than the bus. Also, don't go on holidays... Don't go. It took more than three hours to travel 10 kilometers (leaving at 8 am). It's really dark.
The back mountain of Qingcheng is not as famous as the front mountain, and there are not so many tourists. In comparison, locals generally prefer to go to the back mountain, where the tickets are much cheaper and the scenery is better than the front mountain. The front mountain is mainly for Taoist temples, while the back mountain is mainly for mountains and waters.
The main tourist route is Tai'an Ancient Town - Wulonggou - Youyi Village - Baiyun Temple - Cuiying Lake - Feiquangou - Tai'an Ancient Town, which is a circular route. The back mountain is larger than the front mountain, and it is a bit rushed to go back and forth in one day, so you usually need to stay there for a day. There are more accommodations in Tai'an Ancient Town, but if you want to climb the mountain, it is best to climb from Youyi Village and rest in Youyi Village. There are more and more farmhouses there, and some accommodation conditions are not bad. If you go to the other side, you can also stay in Baiyun Village, but there are fewer hotels and they are very old.
The road at the back of the mountain is not as easy to walk as the one at the front. In some places, people going up and down the mountain have to stop and pass each other. In some places, you have to use your hands and feet... Especially from Youyi Village to Baiyun Temple, many roads collapsed on May 12, and the new scaffolding is very dangerous. The steps to the Qianfo Cliff of Baiyun Temple are also narrow and dangerous. Baiyun Temple collapsed on May 12, and the funds are being raised for reconstruction. I don't know if it has been repaired now. The cable car is not recommended because it can't reach the top.
The spring water in the mountains is very clear. After it flows out, the color is obvious. "The spring water in the mountains is clear, and the spring water out of the mountains is turbid." Many farmhouses near Tai'an Ancient Town have set up "foot washing mahjong". If you are interested, you can try it in the summer.
I feel that there are too many farmhouses in Sichuan. In many places along the way, forests are being cut down and flattened to build farmhouses. I wonder what the environment will be like when I go there in a few years.
I went with the school's travel club. It was the first and only time I climbed to the top of Mount Qingcheng. We set off at 8 am and arrived at the dormitory at 8 pm. God knows what we went through. But it was too much to climb to the top in one go. If you have enough time, you can stay halfway up the mountain and travel slowly, so that you can enjoy the seclusion, greenery and tranquility of Mount Qingcheng better.
Every form of water is everywhere in Qingcheng. There are three kinds of interesting water. One is the water under the tea table and mahjong table of Sichuan people; the second is the water near the mountain peak, where a lake of clear water hangs thousands of feet high, and you don’t know whether you are in Jiangnan or Xishu; the third is the water of my photography level.
Qingcheng Mountain is indeed a beautiful mountain, with strange and beautiful scenery, waiting for you to explore
The Back Mountain of Qingcheng is located behind Mount Qingcheng. It is in the same line as Mount Qingcheng, hidden deep and mysterious. It was not developed until the 1980s. Compared with the Front Mountain, it has more natural landscapes and is more suitable for friends who like hiking.
Although the temples and shrines at the back of Qingcheng Mountain are not as popular as those at the front, they are quieter and cleaner. There is a saying that "one mountain is equally beautiful", and the natural scenery is charming. Walking along the mountain road, you will see blooming mountain flowers, waterfalls and springs; steep cliffs and rocks, and a line of skylight and cloud shadows; suddenly the plank road is winding and you can't see the beginning or the end; suddenly you will see a village surrounded by mountains and covered with green grass.
The ticket is 20 yuan, and the opening hours of Qingcheng Back Mountain are 8:00~19:00 (someone is on duty at night). I started my back mountain climbing journey at about 8:30 in the morning. I entered Wulonggou and crossed the wooden trestle bridge to enter the mountain. Because I came early, there were few people. I walked alone among the rocks, green plants, small bridges and flowing water. The scenery along the way was natural and primitive, without the hustle and bustle of people. It was quiet and quiet. It was really a place to cleanse the body and mind. After climbing for an hour, I saw a store in the mountain ready to open for business, so I ordered a bowl of dandan noodles and two tea eggs for breakfast, and asked the store to fill the water in the travel pot and continue to move forward. The waterfalls and deep pools along the way were extremely cool. I walked and stopped, passing Santan Wuquan and Longyin Plank Road to Youyi Village. In Youyi Village, I was fortunate to meet Nantong Wang Da Ge and his party, and traveled together. Take the Baiyun Cableway (one-way ticket price 45 yuan) to Baiyun Wanfo Cave, Tongtian Cave, and Baiyun Ancient Temple. Some dangerous buildings from the 512 earthquake can be seen on the road. Please do not approach when walking. It was already noon when we returned to Youyi Village. We had a simple meal in Youyi Village. The Jinli Cableway was closed for maintenance, so we walked down the mountain, took a ferry across Cuiying Lake (ticket price 2 yuan), crossed the Baizhang Bridge and Feiquangou to reach Tai'an Ancient Town. It was already past 4 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the foot of the mountain.
The ropeway said "Next Station" but I mistakenly thought it was the next station. As a result, I went up the mountain road on the left. Halfway through, I realized that I was walking towards the back mountain. It may be because of the New Year. There are few people, the environment is quiet and elegant, and the Taoist temples are not as dense as those in the front mountain, but they are also very impressive! I met three sixty-year-old men, hunched over and carrying heavy loads, shouting slogans, and I couldn't help but feel deeply moved! Every food on the mountain is carried up by such people, which is also hard work. The price at the top of the mountain is expensive, but I accepted it calmly!
Visited Dujiangyan and climbed Qingcheng Mountain. It was a rural area with a few family restaurants and supermarkets in the town for tourism, and the rest was just my mood.
The back mountain is close to the train station. The local villagers' cars at the entrance can go directly to the front and back mountains. Except for some unscrupulous people, the price is generally the same. There are many Taoist temples in the front mountain, and the road is easy to walk; the back mountain is suitable for hiking, looking at mountains and water, it is relatively steep, but compared with Huangshan, it is very flat. I hiked up the back mountain and down the front mountain. The scenery along the way is okay. It snowed a few days ago, and the sun came out that day, so there were snow scenes and sunlight, which is also a scene.
There are cable cars in the front and back mountains, which are convenient for going up and down; but if there is snow on the steps, it is easy to slip, so be careful in rainy and snowy weather. There is a paid shuttle bus for the scenic area down the mountain, which goes to an ancient town - similar to the most common local snack street. There is a bus in the ancient town that goes directly to the train station.
On that day, an aunt from Qingcheng Mountain drove us up the mountain. She introduced us to many places enthusiastically and sincerely, and even gave us a discount. But when we came back and chatted with passers-by, we found that she charged half more for the toll and the entrance fee to the scenic spot.
It's also a lesson. The rural enthusiasm makes people let down their guard.
The back mountain is really bad, the service is really bad, there is garbage everywhere, and the management is not good. As soon as you get off the high-speed train, there are people who come to solicit customers. Nine out of ten are scammers. There are even more scammers in the scenic area. A pot is sold for ten yuan. It is simply a crazy rip-off. If you have been to Mount Emei, don't go to Mount Qingcheng. The scenery is very monotonous and almost the same. Moreover, due to untimely maintenance, many ancient monuments have collapsed. The temples are also full of garbage. You can't take pictures even if you want to. I really don't recommend going there. You will regret it if you go there.
To be honest, the back mountain is really no worse than the front mountain, and most importantly, the ticket price is cheap!
Qingcheng Back Mountain is located behind Qingcheng Mountain. It is in the same vein as Qingcheng Mountain. It is extremely mysterious and has more natural landscapes. It is also more suitable for friends who like to climb mountains. The palaces and temples in Qingcheng Back Mountain are quiet and clean, which is even better. There is a saying that "one mountain is equally divided", and the natural scenery is charming. There is a direct bus from the scenic area to Chengdu, which is very convenient.
I personally prefer the back mountain. The front mountain is mainly for experiencing Taoist culture. It is more artificially developed, but the back mountain is more self-respecting and the scenery is more primitive. It is very cool in summer and you can go to see snow in winter. Drive to the entrance of the mountain. The ticket seems to be 20 yuan or I forgot how much. I recommend it.
Do you still remember the teacher who resigned and said, "The world is so big, I want to see it"? It is said that she stopped at Qingcheng Mountain.
We went to Qingcheng Houshan Wan on the 30th of 2017. We took the intercity express train from Xipu to Qingcheng Mountain at 8 o'clock in the morning. It was very fast. It took about 30 minutes to reach Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Railway Station. There is a parking lot on the left side of the next station. Walk 100 meters to a place where there are special sightseeing buses. There are relevant staff who will talk about the front mountain or the back mountain. There was no traffic jam along the way on the sightseeing bus. It took about 40 to 50 minutes to reach an open space. Going back, I also took the sightseeing bus back at the place where I got off. I bought a round-trip ticket for a total of 25. Walk another kilometer to the ticket office. The student ticket I bought was 10 yuan, and I had to add 5 yuan for insurance, a total of 15. There are many small businesses selling sauced pork ribs and sausages in Tai'an Ancient Town. I bought a sausage, which was a bit salty, but it was real pork, and the others were OK. The scenery photographed in Tai'an Ancient Town is very beautiful. We walked to the Feiquangou Scenic Area. Along the way, we could see the clear water of the stream. I stopped to rest when I was exhausted and continued to walk. It is best to carry a bottle of water with you. The water in the scenic area is more expensive. You can drink water to replenish some water when you are tired. It took almost two and a half hours to reach Baiyun Ancient Village. I wanted to take a look at Baiyun Temple, but I didn’t have enough energy to go there. I took the Baiyun Cableway down to the halfway point of the mountain. It took about twenty minutes, and then it took another hour to go down the mountain. Finally, I had a bowl of beef noodles in Tai'an Ancient Town. Finally, I took a bus back to Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Railway Station after five o'clock. I had dinner at a fast food restaurant outside the high-speed railway station, and I saw a handsome foreign brother. Although I walked for almost four or five hours that day, seeing the green water and green mountains of Qingcheng Mountain was also a great gain for me. I was tired but happy! Finally, I borrowed a picture from my bestie to show you the beautiful scenery we took.
Located behind Mount Qingcheng, in Tai'an Township, it is a great place for hiking and self-driving.
It is a very suitable place to cool off in the summer. It is very quiet and the air feels so fresh.
The mountain scenery at the back of Qingcheng Mountain can be said to be a small microcosm of the mountain scenery in Sichuan. The location of the back of the mountain is convenient, so it is recommended to visit it if your schedule permits.
I took the train from Chengdu to Qingcheng Mountain after 6 o'clock in the morning. It only took 40 minutes. I had a leisurely breakfast at the foot of the mountain. Although it is a tourist attraction, the prices in Tai'an Ancient Town are the same as those outside, which is very good. I climbed the mountain in the morning. There were basically no people on the road. It was very quiet and comfortable. I climbed slowly for five hours to the top of the mountain. Because I was still quite tired, I took a section of the cable car to go down the mountain. It took nearly four hours to walk down the cable car. After all, it is easy to go up the mountain but difficult to go down the mountain. However, the scenery down the mountain is really beautiful, with many small waterfalls and clear and blue water. The pictures are all the scenery on the mountain, and the small videos are taken when going down the mountain. In short, you can experience the seclusion of Qingcheng Mountain only when you go there.
It was more beautiful than expected. If I had known that Qingcheng Mountain was so much fun, I wouldn't have stayed at Jiuyan Bridge until two o'clock the night before.
Because I was hungover and didn't have the energy to climb, I took the cable car up the mountain the whole way. The background music was Bai Suzhen at the foot of Qingcheng by my good sister. It was not a Qingcheng Mountain, but it was also very exciting. I didn't have the energy to go down the mountain, but I estimated it wrong again. I walked for nearly three hours. It was like traveling through a martial arts drama, bamboo forests, mountain streams, rafts floating quietly, and the heroine tiptoed up the tree, but I insisted on finishing the walk because I thought about Xiaolongkan.
You can take the intercity high-speed rail from Chengdu to Qingcheng Mountain, or you can take a taxi. The metered fare is about 100 yuan. If you want to have a good tour, it is best to spend a day.
The Qingcheng in the world is quiet, and the natural scenery of the back mountain is very beautiful. There are gurgling streams all the way, and there are continuous waterfalls, which is very cool! It is still very good to invite two or three friends to climb the mountain to escape the heat. The host went down the mountain from 3 pm to 9 pm, and witnessed the change of light from bright to dark. It was the last batch of scenic spots to leave, and I didn’t take the cable car the whole time! If you are not in good physical condition or have too few friends, it is not recommended. There is a section of the road on the mountain that is still very steep and a little dangerous, and there is almost no one at six or seven o'clock. You can choose to go up the mountain early and take the cable car. It is also good. The host does not know how to take pictures, but takes pictures for fun. The feeling of being in it is much better than the pictures taken!
Great experience, didn't take the cable car, climbed up and down, tired but full of sense of accomplishment
I gave it one star just because of the bus from Qingcheng Mountain Town to the back mountain.
I waited for almost an hour before the bus left. The driver even argued with me. He told me not to take his bus. If there were no buses, I would not take your bus. Rubbish!!! He also pointed fingers at me.
Really low quality!!!
I have been to Qingcheng Back Mountain many times. In one word, it is worth it. It is worth every penny. Just pay 20 yuan for the ticket.
Qingcheng Tianxiayou writes more about the back mountain, the waterfalls, valleys, Taoist temples, farmhouses, and teahouses in the back mountain. This is the bus energy we want.
The ticket for the front mountain is NT$90 for 2 hours, mainly for the Taoist temple. The ticket for the back mountain is NT$20 for 6 hours, with natural beauty.
Every time I go to the back mountain and come back, it is dark. The waterfalls along the way are really beautiful. I take pictures over and over again.
The Baiyun Cableway costs 45 RMB and takes 20 minutes. It is a small cable car for two people, which is similar to a vegetable basket. You need to hold an umbrella when it rains. It floats slowly above the forest, like a bus.
It’s a pity that there is no picture on the office computer. It would be very convincing if I posted it.
The foot of the back mountain is the ancient town. You can eat and drink tea in the ancient town. The disadvantage of the back mountain is that it is a little far away, and the transportation is still inferior to that of the front mountain. It is a bit rushed to go out in the morning and come back in the evening. Overall, it is really worth a visit. The back mountains around Chengdu are very worth visiting.
