Lugu Lake is as good as its reputation! It is a beautiful and conscientious scenic spot. Dianchi Lake, Erhai Lake and Napa Lake are inferior to Lugu Lake!

The ticket price is 70 yuan/person, and the half-price ticket price is 35 yuan/person; there is no charge for vehicles to enter, and there is no charge for parking after entering the scenic area; Elderly friends in Beijing, please note: There is no charge for visiting Lugu Lake with a Beijing Senior Citizen Card.

Lugu Lake is located in two provinces, with one part in Ninglang County, Yunnan Province and the other part in Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province. You can drive into Lugu Lake from Ninglang County, Yunnan Province, and out of Lugu Lake from Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province to Xichang.

Although you don't have to pay parking fees when entering the scenic area, there is an old peasant woman in Lige Village who forcibly demands 10 yuan like a beggar. You can just call her a poor guy.

Road conditions: Ninglang County, Yunnan Province ~ Lugu Lake Scenic Area ~ Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province to Xichang. The entire road is mountainous, with many sharp turns and steep slopes. The road is narrow. It is still steep and narrow when entering the scenic area. Please drive carefully.

Under the blue sky, the water of Lugu Lake is as clear as a mirror, showing a bright blue color. The Mosuo people paddled "pig trough boats" and floated on the lake like leaves, shuttling back and forth, and water birds followed the boats up and down. In the distance, surrounded by mountains, lush forests, and overlapping peaks, it is like a poem and a painting. When you are there, you will see the scenery everywhere. When night falls, you can hear faint music in every village, with a cheerful rhythm and dreamlike. Following the sound, you will see a mysterious and passionate Mosuo dance-Jiacuo dance. Walking into these courtyards, bonfires are burning, and dozens of Mosuo young men and women are dancing around the flames. The snow-white long skirts of the Mosuo girls flutter lightly with their steps. As the rhythm of the music changes, the dance steps are also varied, bold and vigorous when fast, and leisurely and contented when slow.

The whole scenic area is beautiful

Part of Lugu Lake is in Sichuan and part is in Yunnan. The whole scenic area is quite large. You have to take a car to travel around the lake, which can be a whole day. Of course, if you have plenty of time and money, you can try hiking, cycling, etc.

The water of Lugu Lake is very clear. When you experience the pig trough boat, you can deeply appreciate the clarity of the water. We only took photos at Princess Island and Dear Inn. If you are a star chaser, it is okay.

My favorite place is not Goddess Bay, nor the Marriage Bridge, but Lover's Beach.

You can take photos in Goddess Bay, but you need to use other props. When you go there, you will know how the photos of Internet celebrities are taken.

Walking on the marriage bridge is not very fun when there are too many people. It can only be considered average. You can walk with your beloved. There is a story that says that you must not walk to the end, saying that it cannot last long or something. I forgot what it is, but the tour guide Xiao Amei told me!

Lover's Beach is a relatively natural place, just like a beach. It is very suitable for taking pictures, and you can also play in the water on the shore. Of course, safety comes first, so this is the best place for friends to take pictures and check in.

Rig Peninsula, since I only took pictures at the observation deck and didn't go down, all I can say is that the pictures taken here are just like the ones on the Internet, quite beautiful. If you have enough money, you can stay in a lake view room on Rig Peninsula, which is comfortable and has beautiful scenery.

I didn’t go up to the Goddess Gem Mountain. It looks like there are caves there, but it will become cool around four or five in the afternoon, so remember to bring a jacket!

The villages have their own rules and stories, so don't offend them. The explanation was also very good. Although there were some elements of the shop, it still felt good to me. It didn't make people feel that it was pure sales, but told some of their stories, traditions, and some health care and treatment...

The evening party was a great experience, very welcoming, and we also saw the little brother rowing for us...

Overall, I feel it deserves 4 or 4.5 stars.

Brother Xiaoyu is a very nice person. We just checked into the inn. It was our first time traveling with our parents, so we wanted to join a tour group. He enthusiastically recommended a small tour group to us. The service was very good throughout the trip. Although there was a small problem at the inn when we stayed at Lugu Lake, it was resolved and he was very considerate of the guests' feelings. The driver, Master Fan, was very nice. He drove very steadily on the winding mountain road without any sudden braking. He also took good care of our meals, told us about each attraction, and didn't rush us. We all had a great time. It was great!

Lugu Lake is commonly known as Zuosuohai, and its ancient names are Ledehai and Lukuhu. It is located at the junction of Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province and Ninglang County, Yunnan Province. Lugu Lake is the highest lake in Yunnan Province and the third largest deep-water lake in China. Many ethnic groups live on the shores of Lugu Lake, mainly the Mosuo people. The Mosuo people are the only matriarchal society still in existence in China, and they practice the "walking marriage" system of "men do not marry and women do not marry", so people call Lugu Lake the "Daughter Country".

We chose to join a tour group to go to Lugu Lake this time, mainly to save worry. As a result, we had a great two-day tour. The driver and photographer A Tao were both very skilled. We had a lot of fun talking and laughing along the way. The itinerary for the two-day tour was very adequate. We didn't go to any shopping stores during the whole trip. There was a bonfire party, we watched the sunrise and sunset, fed the seagulls, and the boat trip on the lake was beautiful. There was also a half-day of free time on the second day! Although the journey was a bit far, we gained beautiful scenery and left great photos, and met new friends. Lugu Lake is worth a visit; the customer service attitude was also very good, and they kept helping to urge the group to be successful. It was a great trip. The link is attached to the good comments, hoping to help friends in need http://www.mafengwo.cn/sales/367271.html

Lugu Lake is really beautiful, but you can't see too beautiful scenery in Daluoshui Village. You must go around the lake. Carpooling is available every day in Daluoshui, 50 yuan per person, but if you want to go to Goddess Bay, I suggest friends to charter a car. Goddess Bay is particularly beautiful. By the way, you can go to Luowa Wharf, which is the closest to the filming location of Dear Inn. It costs 70 yuan per person and the scenery along the way is also very beautiful when rowing.

As expected, the most beautiful place in Yunnan is Lugu Lake. It would be a real pity if you don't go there. The water is very clear and blue. Although the conditions and facilities there are relatively simple, it has retained a bit of its originality. The local people there are still relatively simple, but most of them are from other places. You can see the panoramic view of Lugu Lake from the Goddess Mountain Cableway. It only costs a few dozen yuan per person to charter a car, and you can take a slow tour around it.

Lugu Lake is indeed a pearl of the plateau. The islands in the lake are graceful and beautiful in various shapes, with lush forests and picturesque green. When you are there, the water and sky are one color, as clear as a mirror, dotted with algae and flowers. The pig trough boats slowly gliding on the calm water add a bit of simplicity and tranquility to the lake.

Looking from afar at the highest peak by the lake, Mount Gemu, it is tall and steep. There is always a group of white clouds floating on the top of the mountain, giving people endless space for imagination.

At night, the sky of Lugu Lake is dotted with stars, there are faint lights on the shore, and a little mist floats over the lake from time to time. Except for the occasional barking of dogs, there is no other sound.

Due to the lack of pollution, the air around Lugu Lake is fresh, the water is clear, and the scenery is beautiful. It is worth visiting or staying for a few days.

When we arrived at Lugu Lake Scenic Area, it was already getting dark.

Before we reached the lake below, there was a checkpoint set up in the middle of the national highway on the mountain: ticket sales and ticket inspection.

The ticket to Lugu Lake is 70 yuan per person. After checking the ticket, we continued down the mountain path and arrived at the lake.

We drove down for a short distance, about 7 or 8 kilometers, and arrived at the lake.

I didn't know which direction to go around the lake at that time. (In fact, there are restaurants and inns everywhere around the lake.)

Standing under a big sign of a scenic spot, I was confused:

At 8 o'clock in the morning on the eighth day of the Chinese New Year, the sun had not yet fully risen, and the color of the water in Lugu Lake was not very pretty. But I saw a charming morning mist on the lake, which became clearer and clearer as the sun rose! !

Whether I’m photographing mountain and field scenes, or sea and woods, I’m lucky to catch the sight of morning fog!

Different focal lengths, different compositions, different exposures and apertures. I took photos of that rare morning fog, but in the end I didn’t have any more photos.

The sun came out, the sky became brighter and clearer, and the color of the lake also became blue, which was very beautiful. Without the hustle and bustle of the bar and the chatter of tourists, the water of Lugu Lake at this time moved me the most, so I named this travel note [The Beauty of Lugu Lake]

Later, I flew the drone over the lake and took a few sweeping shots.

However, the photography quality of drones is definitely not as good as that of SLRs. Its advantage is that it can capture photos at different heights and angles, and it is only useful for making videos. Photos are simply unbearable to watch.

I have taken all the photos and flown, and now I can go back to the inn, check out and leave with peace of mind.

But it took a lot of effort to get out of Lugu Lake.

When I arrived at Lugu Lake, I was surprised by the beautiful scenery below the observation deck. The panoramic view of Lugu Lake really made me unforgettable. When boating on the lake, the beautiful scenery is right beside you, within reach! The morning is also a good choice. Watching the sun rise little by little, the golden sunshine sprinkled on the lake, at this moment I will feel that getting up early is worth it. Joining a tour group is a good choice

I have always been longing for Lugu Lake. Some people say that there is nothing to see in Lugu Lake, but blue sky, white clouds, seagulls and the blue lake. It is such a lake that you will always miss the first time you come here. My husband and I chose to go to Lijiang in the off-season in December, and then took a bus from Lijiang for a whole morning to reach our destination. We chose the "Sunrise and Clouds" in Xiaoyuba as our inn. During the more than two days here, I really felt the pleasure of escaping from the big city. There are only blue sky, white clouds, lake, seagulls and stars. I remembered a famous sentence on the Internet: The world is not worth it, but here is worth it.

By 🐏 |

January is the off-season for Lugu Lake, so there are few tourists. The government provides unified charter services for the trip around the lake, and the price is 75 yuan per person. Charter services usually depart in the morning. We departed at 9 o'clock, and it took 5 hours, including meal time.

There are so many ducks in Lugu Lake, they can be seen everywhere.

Lugu Lake is very beautiful. I joked that it would be a good place for recuperation when you are old. The air and scenery are great, but there is a lack of supplies, which is a big problem (there is nothing to eat). The soil in Lugu Lake can only be used to grow potatoes and corn. All the vegetables and fruits we saw were shipped in.

I was very excited before coming to Lugu Lake. I was looking forward to its walking marriage culture and matriarchal society. However, after seeing the scenery along the way, I felt that I didn't have any cultural experience, only the explanations on the signboards, which was a bit disappointing.

In fact, after walking around the lake, you will find that Lugu Lake is very beautiful, but this kind of beauty is very similar, because it is just one lake, and you will feel a little aesthetically fatigued afterwards.

Lugu Lake, commonly known as Zuosuo Lake, was named Lede Lake and Luku Lake in ancient times. In the Mosuo language of the Naxi ethnic group, "Lu" means ravine and "Gu" means inside, which means the lake in the ravine. The lake is located at the junction of Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province and Ninglang County, Yunnan Province. It is jointly governed by Sichuan and Yunnan. To the east of the lake is Lugu Lake Town, Yanyuan County (formerly Zuosuo District), and to the west of the lake is Yongning Township, Ninglang County.

Lugu Lake is the highest lake in Yunnan Province and the third largest deep-water lake in China. The people living around Lugu Lake are mainly Mosuo, Yi and Pumi people, and there are seven ethnic groups living along the shore, including Mongolians, with a total population of about 13,000.

By Wind and Clouds 508 |

It is said that the Naxi people are more Chinese. During the 3-4 days in Lugu Lake, I only saw a few old ladies wearing ethnic costumes. The younger generation usually wears popular casual clothes. Only at the bonfire party at night, they wear ethnic costumes, which are very beautiful! They sing and dance, and have fun with tourists. The pig trough boat costs between 10-50 yuan per person, and the rig rowing boat is the cheapest. The bonfire party costs from 30 yuan to several hundred yuan per person. The landlord helped us buy it (30 yuan per person). First, the local girls and boys performed a group dance, and then the tourists joined in. The happy tourist girl was thrown into the sky by the Naxi boys! Standing in front of Luoshui Temple and looking down, there is the vast Lugu Lake and the continuous green mountains. The lake and mountains are beautiful!

Lugu Lake is only half the size of Erhai Lake. The whole journey is about 50 kilometers. It is actually possible to complete it by cycling, but the road around Lugu Lake is much more dangerous than that around Erhai Lake, so no one recommends cycling around the lake. And because of the danger, Lugu Lake does not allow the rental of battery vehicles to circle the lake.

The weather was bad during our trip around the lake, so we didn’t fully appreciate the beauty of Lugu Lake! And we couldn’t see the starry sky at night!

What's floating on the water is not garbage, but a kind of small flower. The guy said it's called water lily, which is a sign of good water quality.

By AK007 |

The road from Lijiang to Lugu Lake was built in recent years. The road condition is very good. Now that the highway is open, more and more people are traveling to Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people by the lake have formed a cooperative to operate cruise ships. The fare is 80 yuan per person in this season. The boats are rowed by people, and there are no motorized boats. This environmental protection measure is commendable. The person who rowed the boat for me was a Mosuo woman in her 40s, and the person at the bow of the boat was a Mosuo man. I sat at the stern, looking at the scenery of the lake and mountains while chatting with her. I was surprised that she spoke Mandarin so well. It turned out that their village organized them to learn Mandarin the year before last, and after her family had a TV two years ago, she learned Mandarin from the TV.

The clear lake water can be drunk directly.

Because the water is extremely clear, the sunlight can reach the very deep bottom of the lake. Around the lake grow aquatic plants unique to Lugu Lake, which has a very nice name called "water lily" and is said to be very delicious!

There are many seagulls in Lugu Lake that come here to spend the winter, and tourists are strictly prohibited from feeding them. Someone on the same boat took out bread to feed them, but was seriously stopped by our boatman. I am very happy that they can strictly enforce this rule. The good ecology here is the prerequisite for their survival.

There is an island in the center of the lake. You can overlook the entire Lugu Lake from the island. When we got off the island, the boatman asked us if we wanted to go and see the springs on the island, where we could see spring water bubbling up from the bottom of the lake. If we didn't want to go, we would just return directly. If we wanted to, we would have to pay an additional 30 yuan per person. Ha, they also learned the tricks.

It was almost dusk after we circled the lake. After dinner, we had a bonfire party with singing and dancing Tibetan girls.

The tourism development of Lugu Lake is not long, and the commercialization is not high. It is a good opportunity to enjoy the natural scenery. This vast and quiet environment is perfect for listening to a song of "Wild Goose"! In addition to the natural scenery, you can also visit the Mosuo Museum of Yangerche Namu. The fact that Lugu Lake can appear in everyone's travel plan is definitely due to the contribution of Teacher Namu, the woman wearing flowers.

By Changle Weiyang |

The Lugu Lake in various travel notes gives people the impression that it is a prosperous holiday resort. The photos taken at the Rig Peninsula Observation Deck make people feel that the lake is small and long. But the real experience here is complete only when you consider the lake itself, the villages around the lake and the overlapping Liangshan Mountains.

After 5 hours of difficult travel through the mountains, only when you cross the last mountain and look down at the sudden appearance of the sapphire from a high altitude can you truly appreciate the preciousness of Lugu Lake.

Lugu Lake is very closed, the atmosphere is primitive and peaceful, without the Internet celebrity atmosphere of the resort I imagined, and even made me feel a little lonely with the lingering atmosphere of Lijiang Ancient Town. But this difference is good. I easily passed through the village and arrived at the lake. Lugu Lake is very beautiful.

There are many boats at the lakeside pier, and the signs next to them indicate the prices for different islands and routes. The cheapest route is 50 yuan, which is about 1,800 meters round trip and takes more than an hour. The most expensive route is 180 yuan, which seems to take an afternoon to complete.

I thought I had to buy a ticket before taking the boat, but when I got to the ticket office where many people were chatting and lighting fires, I was told that I could pay after I got back from the boat, because there might not be enough people, and the boat would only depart if there were 8 people. There were not many people in the off-season, but I was still lucky enough to get enough people on the boat.

The boat rowers are all local Mosuo people. If you sign up for a group, there should be someone to explain the local customs. Here, you can only learn a little from chatting. The boats on Lugu Lake are all rowed by manpower, so each route is very slow. The only small boats are used for rescue, so as to protect the lake from pollution. The money earned by the locals from rowing is divided equally among everyone, and they take turns rowing. The word that the boatman repeatedly mentioned is "We are a big family", so there is no competition or anything.

The lake water is very clear and the visibility is extremely high. There are some places on the lake bottom where there are no water plants and white sand is exposed. It is said that this is where the spring water gushes out. When you arrive at the nearest island, you can choose to go directly to the island, or you can choose to go around the island for an additional 30 yuan and then go to the island.

In winter, many seagulls come to Lugu Lake. Tourists like to feed them, so when every boat sets out, a large group of seagulls will follow the boat and stay on the water on both sides.

The better views of Lugu Lake are concentrated in the first 30km. In addition to these typical viewing spots, the small villages and yellow grasslands scattered in the valleys are also very beautiful. The road sometimes goes along the lakeside and sometimes extends into the high mountains. You can see the scenery from all angles, and the color of the lake is different at different distances.

Compared with the previous Lugu Lake, it should have been renovated now, and tickets are now sold at the gate.

After entering the gate of Lugu Lake, don't rush to drive in. Be sure to go to the observation deck first and you can see the Goddess Gem Mountain directly.

One day is quite enough to travel around Lugu Lake. Although the scenery in winter is a little less beautiful, the sunny day and no one around are enough. In fact, the yellow dry grass and the blue lake water are more suitable, right? !

Lugu Lake was formerly known as Luku Lake, also known as Zuosuo Lake, commonly known as Lianghai Lake. It is located between Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province and Ninglang Yi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. The lake surface is about 2690.75m above sea level and covers an area of about 48.45km2. The residents around the lake are mainly Mosuo people, and there are also some Naxi people. The Mosuo people still retain the matriarchal marriage system. The unique "Asha" marriage, natural and primitive folk customs, and beautiful natural scenery have dyed this ancient land with a mysterious and beautiful color, and it is called the "Magical Oriental Daughter Kingdom"

We rode on a pig trough boat to wander around Lugu Lake. The water of Lugu Lake is really super clear. It would be great if Erhai Lake had such environmental awareness earlier. But now it is determined to improve it, and it can still be remedied. When I just got off the boat, the fog was very heavy, and I was shivering with cold. However, seagulls kept flying over our boat. If you hold bread, they will fly to your hand to eat.

There was a seagull flying next to us. Although my hands were shaking due to the cold, I still managed to capture the photo successfully. There were eight of us together, and it seemed like my mom and I were the only ones complaining about the cold. It was so cold. It turns out that people from Northeast China are the least resistant to cold.

In the afternoon, the sky was just about to clear up and the sun was already shining. The ultraviolet rays in Yunnan are really pure. If you don’t apply sunscreen on sunny days for just one or two days, you will get tanned one degree, and you can’t even open your eyes without sunglasses.

The car drove to Luyuan Cliff and Xiaoluo River beside the highway, and the sky was already clear and blue.

The sun is out and my body feels warm, but there are still dark clouds on the other side.

Lugu Lake is very beautiful and the water is very clear. We went there with a tourist bus and spent most of the time on the bus. We only had 10 to 15 minutes to view each scenic spot. In addition to the longer round-trip time of rowing a pig trough boat to Dear Inn, we also had to buy silver jewelry in the Mosuo Village in the morning. It is recommended that if you have the conditions and time, you can travel slowly and stay in Lugu Lake for a few more days to fully experience the feeling of a paradise.

After more than four hours of winding mountain roads, we finally arrived at the legendary Lugu Lake. The first time I saw it, I felt that the journey was worth it. I couldn't say anything else but wow! It's so beautiful!

Lugu Lake is a place suitable for relaxation and daze. Time slows down here.

Remember to look up after nightfall. The starry sky of Lugu Lake is beautiful - full of stars, clear and bright! It's a pity that I couldn't record it with a camera, so I'll just keep it in my heart and enjoy this slow time!

The ticket to Lugu Lake Scenic Area is ¥70/person. The hostel owner suggested that we charter a car for four people to go around the lake. The driver would stop at several scenic spots to give us enough time to play by ourselves. The price was ¥300/car. So it was the most cost-effective for four people to share a car.

(Currently, due to safety issues, Lugu Lake has completely banned the rental of electric vehicles)

The driver will arrange the time for the scenic spots according to the duration. From Caohai-Walking Marriage Bridge-Goddess Bay-Lover Beach-Lige Observation Deck-Finally to Daluoshui Village. Each scenic spot has its own unique characteristics and is worth your exploration. (The road to Goddess Bay is quite far, and an additional fee of 50 yuan will be charged)

Shining white under the sunlight, Miss Lu appears in front of you like a fairy, and everything is so beautiful.

As the weather gets warmer, the trees are vying to squeeze out their green leaves, their shadows are reflected in the lake, and a few white clouds are floating in the water. The hazy lake surface will make you feel like you have strayed into a fairyland. This is not an observation deck, but the scenery you can see on the way around the lake, which will make people want to sit on the ground and enjoy the slow life.

In Yunnan, where the weather is unpredictable, friends who are cycling around the lake must prepare rain gear!

I was particularly reluctant to part with Miss Lu after spending two days with her. She was so beautiful that it seemed like someone from a fairyland. She was restrained and unrestrained, yet she made you touch her in a hazy state. She was like Menggu in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, with a mysterious beauty.

Because the journey to Lugu Lake is quite long and the roads are all mountainous, it would be inconvenient to travel independently, so I signed up for a travel photography group.

Actually, it is better to play on your own than to join a small tour group. For example, there is no boating in Caohai, the hotel is in a bad location, and you can't see the starry sky or sunrise; the bonfire party is not the most lively in Xiaoluoshui; you can't wait until you get to Lige Island, etc. But there are too many places to play around Lugu Lake, and there are beautiful scenery everywhere, so I think this small tour is still good if there is a photographer and a safe driver. It is very beautiful and the water is super clear.

I got up early in the morning and bought tickets from Lijiang to Lugu Lake on Taobao. I took a bus near where I live. The bus was a bit old. I slept all the way and stopped to rest at Lining Eighteen Bends. You can see the filming location of the movie "A Thousand Miles Alone". Then we arrived at Lugu Lake. The ticket was 100 yuan per person. We stopped again at the ticket office to get used to the altitude sickness. It was a little difficult to breathe when going uphill or climbing stairs. We continued inside and stayed in Daluoshui Village.

For our 2-day tour around Lugu Lake, we booked a 2-day shared carpooling tour directly on China-TravelNote.

We set off from the south gate of the ancient city at around 8 o'clock. Fortunately, there were only 4 people in the car, including us, and they were all of similar age. In the past, the only way to get to Lugu Lake was to go through the Eighteen Bends, and the journey would take 7 or 8 hours.

The road is full of Gesang flowers, which means "good times" and "happiness" in Tibetan. Gesang flowers are also synonymous with the tenacious vitality of the plateau.

Gesang flower is also called the flower of happiness. Maybe it really has some kind of magic. At this moment, I feel an inexplicable satisfaction in my heart. Happiness is sometimes really simple.

We got up in the middle of the night, thinking of going to see the starry sky of Lugu Lake. It was beautiful, really beautiful, the most perfect interpretation of the idiom "a sky full of stars". It's just that I couldn't take a picture, otherwise I would definitely post the picture.

During the day, the entire surface of Lugu Lake looks like a sapphire, inlaid between the mountains, deep and like a fairyland.

Lugu Lake is very beautiful. It is magnificent. Especially when you drive into the scenic area and drive along the winding mountain road. Looking down from a high place, it looks like a sapphire inlaid between the mountains. This is the characteristic of plateau lakes, either green or blue.

The beauty of Lugu Lake can be seen from different angles. Under different lighting conditions at different times, Lugu Lake presents different colors. Each angle has its own unique beauty. You can only feel it when you are there in person.

There are also many seagulls flying from Siberia in Lugu Lake. Maybe too many tourists feed them, so when we pretend to wave, the seagulls will subconsciously think we are feeding them, and they will fly over in groups. It is very enjoyable. You can often see many dogs by the Lugu Lake. You can often see them lying comfortably on the small stone stalls. It feels so cool.

Lugu Lake is really a place worth visiting. It is very beautiful and attractive, especially the starry sky and sunrise, which are completely unexpected and shocking.

It is beautiful, just like the blue sky in Yunnan is well known. There are many bays in Lugu Lake, each with its own beauty. For the first time, we will choose to go around the lake. Here are some tips to share.

About light

Photography is the art of light and shadow. In the beautiful scenery with mountains and water, light is the soul. So when playing, you must not go around the lake against the light. We arranged a day to go around the lake, but when we realized this, it was too late to correct it.

Morning and evening are the golden hours for photography. Lugu Lake is the most beautiful in the afternoon.

About off-season and peak season

I went to Yunnan twice, both times around November, which should be the off-season for tourism in Yunnan. Even so, there were still a lot of people. I imagined the crowds in the peak season and secretly appreciated the benefits of the off-season.

But in November, Lugu Lake gets completely dark after 7pm, so the time for sightseeing is much shorter than in the peak season, and the outdoor temperature is lower at night. I originally brought a speaker with me this time, so I wanted to hug and dance with my lover when there was no one by the lake, but that became impossible. The temperature was so low that we wanted to fight each other to keep warm.

Lugu Lake, I really can't bear to leave you. After a few days of seeing you, your beauty has entered my heart, and your helplessness can also be felt. Travel has brought me wealth, but I have lost your original simple and pure life.

Please believe that when purity meets civilization, it will create a more beautiful Lugu Lake, and you will come again.

If you don't use a car to get around, it will probably take a whole day to walk and play with an electric car.

The temperature difference is emphasized. In fact, the temperature difference between Lijiang and Lugu Lake in winter is very large! So much so that we dress like we are going to Heihe when we go out for dinner at night. The sun is bright at noon, the ultraviolet rays are strong, and the weather is changeable, so bring an umbrella when you go out.

We ate stone pot fish around the lake, rowed boats, visited Caohai and the Marriage Bridge, and stayed by the lake at night. If nothing else, it was really freezing.

But then, at night in Lugu Lake, I felt the malice of the cold winter.

The next morning, when I looked at the other side of the lake, there was still a thin layer of fog on it. It was definitely a fairyland. There was also the Geminid meteor shower last night.

The sunrise of Lugu Lake is around 7:45. The next morning we went around the lake. There are usually 4 ways to go around the lake. Chartering a car is convenient, but there is a sense of distance. However, you can ask the driver to stop along the way, or get off the car to walk around and see the beautiful scenery. There is no sense of freedom. The next is bicycles and electric cars, but believe me, in this season, it is better to sit in the car. Bicycles will definitely be very tiring when going uphill, and electric cars will worry about running out of power. On the way to Rige, you will pass a beach, where you can see the lake up close and feed seagulls.

When I first saw Lugu Lake, I saw the endless blue waters that stretched all the way to the horizon. A boat just floated on the lake, and it seemed to be half suspended in the air.

I don’t know if it’s because it’s the wrong season or because I’ve seen this kind of scenery too many times, but Lugu Lake didn’t give me a very stunning feeling overall. It is indeed beautiful, but its beauty is a bit ordinary.

The young Mosuo brother suggested:

1. Don’t go into temples. After burning a stick of incense, the price will not be the same as before, but will become sky-high.

2. Do not accept Mosuo home visits, as they will not be given without payment;

3. Pay special attention to chartering a car around the lake, as some will offer shopping and take you to visit Mosuo families;

4. Don’t eat anything you don’t like. It’s not convenient to call 120 if you have a stomachache.

5. Look at the menu before ordering. If there is no menu, you must ask the price first.

The air in Lugu Lake is excellent, and we could see many stars outside the car window on the way back.

My suggestion: Cycling around the lake can help you discover more beautiful scenery, because some roads are inaccessible by chartered vehicles, but remember to wear gloves when it is cold. Cycling is the right way to explore Lugu Lake.

When I saw the whole picture of Lugu Lake, I couldn't help but feel happy. I suddenly understood why my bestie couldn't forget it. The bus driver said that Lugu Lake was always cloudy and rainy some time ago, but it suddenly cleared up today. Lugu Lake is the most beautiful on a sunny day, so we are lucky.

The water of Lugu Lake is very cold, with a kind of white sea flower floating everywhere, which they call "water lilies". The oars create waves on the water, and occasionally water droplets splash up, shining brightly like stars in the sun.

If you want to travel around Lugu Lake, you can charter a car or rent a car. Self-driving is not recommended for those who are not familiar with driving, because the road is narrow and winding, and there is a risk of accidents. If you charter or rent a car, the driver will stop at each viewing platform along the way for dozens of minutes. If some drivers are in a hurry, they will urge people to get on the car after ten minutes.

If you want to go boating on Lugu Lake, it is recommended that you contact a reliable boatman yourself or ask the inn owner to do it, otherwise you may be easily ripped off.

Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province, and is jointly governed by Sichuan and Yunnan. The tourist area of Lugu Lake is surrounded by mountains and has more than three months of snow a year. It is rich in forest resources, beautiful mountains and clear waters, fresh air and charming scenery. Lugu Lake is regarded as the "Mother Lake" by the local Mosuo people. Tickets are full ticket: 100 yuan; half ticket: 50 yuan.

By Snoopy |

The movie "Dear Inn" was filmed here, which made Lugu Lake popular. The popularity may bring more income to the local area, but it is also becoming more and more commercialized. I still hope that the water of Lugu Lake will always remain pure. Lugu Lake under the sunshine feels sparkling.

While riding along the shore of Lugu Lake, Xu Wei's song was playing in my headphones: "Only green mountains are hidden among the white clouds, and butterflies fly freely in the clear stream."

At around 1:00 p.m., we finally arrived at the gate of Lugu Lake Scenic Area, bought a ticket and entered the upper observation deck. The lake was shrouded in a thin mist, and the photos we took were not very ideal, but fortunately there was a filter.

I have seen the blue of Sailimu Lake, but I was still shocked by the scene of flocks of seagulls playing on the lake surface of Lugu Lake. When I walked closer, I couldn't help but sigh that the lake water was so clear that I could see the stones on the bottom of the lake one by one. The driver said: When the weather is good, the transparency of Lugu Lake can reach 12 meters deep, which is amazing.

Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful in the early morning. The whole lake is covered with mist. Fishermen are busy paddling boats in the mist. Occasionally one or two birds fly by, chirping softly. Everything is as beautiful as a fairyland.

I think the differences between Lugu Lake and other lakes are: first, you can clearly see the swaying water lilies in the lake; second, there are flocks of water birds.

The scenery is pretty good, we drove around the lake. But the local hotels are terrible, the price/performance ratio is very low, but there is nothing we can do, the locals are all the same. We played the boating project, 200 per person, to an island in the middle of the lake, it took less than an hour, we chartered a boat from Trang Province to Koh Ngai in Thailand for only 400 RMB. People are evil, and no matter how good the scenery is, it is wiped out.

I signed up for a tour around Lugu Lake on the bus. I joined the tour group on the afternoon of the 3rd and the morning of the 4th. I set out from Daluoshui on the afternoon of the 3rd and headed towards the Lige Peninsula, including a silver jewelry shopping spot. I attended a bonfire party in the evening. On the way back, my friends called me to see the Milky Way. It turns out that there is also a Milky Way in Lugu Lake, which is quite beautiful. When we arrived at Dear Inn and Princess Island, the water plants in the lake were clear and visible, and water lilies floated on the water.

It is worth mentioning that the mushrooms in Lugu Lake are very cheap, and there are all kinds of mushrooms. There are Mosuo people setting up stalls on the way to the lake. I also bought a scarf for my mother. The Mosuo people said it was hand-woven. I didn’t dare tell my mother that I bought it at 18.

The most worthwhile attractions in the entire Lugu Lake are the Rige Peninsula and the Walking Marriage Bridge. Of course, if your schedule is not as tight as mine, I suggest you plan at least two days in Lugu Lake to visit more attractions. There are some photo spots on the way around the lake, such as glass balls and glass bars. Of course, these are made by the villagers and need to be charged separately.

The entire Lugu Lake Scenic Area is nearly 200 kilometers around the lake. Friends who drive by themselves should pay attention to the remaining fuel in the vehicle. I have not seen any gas stations in the scenic area.

The car turned a corner and the view in front of us suddenly opened up - wow, we have arrived at Lugu Lake. The water and the sky are one color, blue and clear, stunning at first sight.

Daluoshui Village is quietly located by the water and looks like a paradise from a distance.

This blue is luxurious and pure, like the luster of a gem. The water surface is calm, like a piece of silk spread out. The colorful trees, leaves, and flowers beside it all serve as a backdrop to this.

It is said that you need to go to the shore early in the morning to watch the sunrise at Lugu Lake. The driver said that it was a sunny day without fog, and you would definitely see the sunrise. Although it was off-season, there were many people watching the sunrise. I found a good seat and waited for the sun to rise slowly. Watching the other side of the mountain light up little by little, the sun suddenly jumped out and illuminated the entire mountain. When the sun came out from the mountains, there was a cheer, the sun illuminated the lake, and the body instantly warmed up. Lugu Lake was full of vitality in an instant, like the dawn of the newborn, illuminating this beautiful daughter country. In the early morning of Lugu Lake, the hardworking fishermen added a different beauty to the beautiful daughter country; the quaint villages and the kind Mosuo people happily guarded this peace; rowing a unique pig trough boat, rippling in the sea of ten thousand acres of grass, and having a close contact with Lugu Lake. The trip to Lugu Lake made me fall in love with this mysterious place, listening to the most sincere stories in a large place that is not in dispute with the world.

After the sun goes down, Lugu Lake is really much colder, at least 7-8℃ lower. The scenery is not so bright, but people should smile brightly! As soon as you see the sun, hurry up, get ready, it won't be beautiful without it. When you come to Lugu Lake, you can't miss the tour around the lake. Set off at 10 o'clock, Lige, Lover's Beach, Walking Marriage Bridge, Pig Trough Boat, Caohai, Lianghai, Princess Island, Dear Inn, Goddess Bay. Stop along the way, beautiful autumn leaves, romantic lakeside, deserted roads, let us take pictures at will.

It is no longer possible to drive electric vehicles around Lugu Lake, so the only options are car, bicycle or hiking.

The whole journey is 68 kilometers around the lake. Cycling clockwise, there are more climbs from Daluoshui to Lige Peninsula, and the road is mainly downhill and flat. Since the temperature was only 2-3°C in the morning, I waited until the sun came out before setting off. 09:30-16:30, walking and stopping, the scenery is particularly beautiful. I found that the section from Xiaoluoshui to Zu Wharf is quite beautiful, but the transportation may not be very convenient, and the supporting facilities are not very complete, so it is not very popular. The bicycle rental fee is 30 yuan/person.

It takes about 4 hours to get from Lijiang to Lugu Lake on a winding mountain road. The mountain road is full of bends. I don't know how many mountains I climbed to reach Lugu Lake. Maybe it is because of this that Lugu Lake and the Mosuo people have a sense of mystery. The road is particularly difficult to walk. The driver has to add water to cool the brakes halfway, which is still quite scary. If you are carsick, you must bring motion sickness medicine, otherwise you will vomit until your stomach cramps. It is not recommended to drive to Lugu Lake by yourself unless you are confident in your driving skills. It may be more time-consuming to join a group. If you want to travel independently, it is better to find a local chartered car master for safety. [Note] The temperature difference between morning and evening in Lugu Lake is very large. You must bring cotton clothes. In addition, when staying in an inn, you must ask if there is air conditioning. An electric blanket alone froze us all. There is basically no clinic in Lugu Lake. It is best to bring some common cold medicine when you go there by yourself, just in case. I took a boat to Dear Inn. I felt that there was nothing to see. It has now been changed into a local inn. You can't go indoors, you can only go outside, which is not worth seeing. We had a group meal at night. It is said that this group meal is the best food in the local area. The specialty dish is pork fat. The pigs are slaughtered and the bones are removed. Salt and pepper are sprinkled in the abdominal cavity, and the pigs are sutured and marinated into a complete cured pig. It is said that it can be preserved for up to 80 years without deterioration. When guests come to their home, the Mosuo people will use it to entertain guests. During the meal, the Mosuo tour guide Alang also performed for us to drink half a bottle of white wine in one breath. It is incomparable. The boyfriend who claims to be able to drink all the time was scared and dizzy after two cups of highland barley wine. It was funny that he said he was a little dizzy. But the dishes in Yunnan are really too light. We who are used to eating Northeastern dishes need to add some spicy fermented bean curd to feel the taste. After dinner, we walked back to the inn. Lugu Lake only repaired street lights the year before last, but it will only light up during festivals. At night, along the path, I accidentally looked up at the sky. It was unexpectedly beautiful. It was really full of stars. It felt like I could grab a handful of stars with just one hand, but it was a pity that the mobile phone could not take the effect. At night without air conditioning, we could only stay in bed and rely on electric blankets to keep warm. We must find an air-conditioned room!!! The next day, we got up early to watch the sunrise. We saw the sun slowly peeking out from the valley. It was dazzling but we were reluctant to leave. As we watched the sun gradually emerge completely, Lugu Lake in the morning seemed particularly quiet. The last itinerary was to visit the Mosuo family. Amei took us to visit the grandmother's room and introduced the customs of walking marriage, the gate of life and death, and some local customs and habits. To put it bluntly, the ultimate goal was to sell silverware, but it was not mandatory to buy it. It depends on personal preference.

Lugu Lake spans the border between Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. The west belongs to Yunnan and the east belongs to Sichuan. The familiar Luoshui Village and Rige Peninsula are both on the west side. The accommodation conditions and facilities here are relatively complete. The airport bus will only stop at a few inns on the west side and will not go to the east.

Many well-known attractions of Lugu Lake, such as Goddess Bay, Lover's Tree, etc., are on the east side. However, the inns here are relatively less dense than those on the west side. However, there are still many of them. Most of the high-quality characteristic homestays are concentrated on the east side.

Staying on the west side:

Advantages: Check in to the hotel quickly, you can go directly to the hotel after getting off the bus, there are many restaurants and markets, and all kinds of services are relatively complete.

Disadvantages: noisy, crowded, far from tourist attractions, few characteristic inns.

Staying on the east side:

Advantages: It is very close to the scenic spots, so you can see the most beautiful view of Lugu Lake without having to walk around the lake, and it is quiet.

Disadvantages: After getting off the bus, you need to charter a car or take a boat to the other side of the lake. Chartering a car costs about 150. If you are alone on the boat, the boatman may not send the boat. Also, if it is late at night, the waves on the lake are very big and it is very dangerous, so the boat will not send out.

To sum up, if the purpose of your trip is leisure sightseeing and you have enough money, or if you have limited time and hope to visit most of the attractions in Lugu Lake in one day, it is recommended to stay on the east side; if you have more time and like to live in a more lively place, or if you arrive late on the day, it is recommended to stay on the west side.

As the sky gradually turned pale blue, the fog on the lake became thicker and clearer. The quietly flowing lake water and the mist gathering from the lakeside to the center of the lake made the early morning Lugu Lake look like a fairyland! It was really beautiful, so beautiful that I don’t know how to describe this excitement. This is the scenery I have been waiting for for 6 years. It is really beautiful. . . . . .

Slowly the fog began to dissipate, and ferries began to appear on the lake, one, two, and three. The ducks on the lake also began to go out to find food. Then slowly the sun came out, and Lugu Lake became sparkling and began to regain vitality.

From 4 to 7 o'clock, I waited for three hours and saw Lugu Lake awakening in late autumn. I felt that I would never forget this glimpse.

Lugu Lake is located in a plateau area at an altitude of more than 2,600 meters. The ultraviolet rays are very strong, so sun protection is very important! The temperature difference between day and night is large. We went there in early November, and the temperature was about 0℃~18℃. We had to bring a thick coat with us. It was still quite cold in the morning and evening. The first impression of Lugu Lake in late autumn is that the sea and sky are one color. The lake water is crystal clear and clear to the bottom. Walking by the lake, it is particularly quiet. There is no best viewing platform in Lugu Lake, because there are good scenery everywhere you pass by. If you want to take the Houlongshan hiking trail, it is recommended to go to the Beiluowa Wharf first. The entrance to the plank road is there. After walking the whole way (about 3 hours), you can reach the exit, which is near the Goddess Bay. Princess Island and Dear Inn are not too surprising. Generally, tourists will take a boat to these two places. The time to play in each place is 10~15 minutes, and they are in a hurry to check in. Dear Inn is the Yanyuan Lugu Lake Nuwanzi Inn here. The location is super good and the view is very open. The inn is open for operation. It is not open to internal visits. Tourists can only visit it outside. Regarding whether there is a way to the plank road halfway up the mountain from Dear Inn, the boating brother said that we can only climb up the mountain, and the two girls are not strong enough, and climbing the mountain road is not safe. It is recommended that we take a boat to Luowa Wharf to the entrance over there. When we went around the outside of Dear Inn, we suddenly saw a sign that prohibited entry! At this time, my mood really fell to the bottom, but fortunately, a kind local was willing to lead the way for us, and we successfully walked from the mountain road to the plank road. There are really few tourists walking on the plank road. I met two tourists along the way, and I met a local grandmother by chance. Because I didn’t bring water, I said I was thirsty, and the grandmother gave us two apples. What a kind person. When I came out of Goddess Bay and passed by the altar, I saw that I had to climb the steps. I was a little bit overwhelmed because of my physical discomfort. Thinking that there were many trips to come, I gave up. The altar is one of the best viewing platforms for watching the sunset. Originally, watching the sunrise and sunset was also in the itinerary, but I didn’t want to get up early for sunrise because of physical reasons, and the sunset was because the sky was cloudless in this season, and the sunset without clouds was not so beautiful. I would like to visit Lugu Lake in different seasons if I have the chance. I would like to see the sunrise at Xiaoluoshui and the sunset at Jishentai (these two places are the best places to watch the sunrise and sunset, according to the locals). Lugu Lake is indeed a good place to be in a daze and empty yourself. It is quiet and beautiful. It is indeed a place worth visiting! I think we will see each other again!

Lugu Lake is the lake where Zhu Bajie of the Kingdom of Daughters in Journey to the West drank the water that made him pregnant. The ticket for Lugu Lake Scenic Area is a one-way ticket. As long as it is not the peak season, you can stay as many days as you want and play as you want. The ticket is charged at 70 yuan per person, and there is no charge for cars. The ring road around the lake in Lugu Lake Scenic Area is less than 50 kilometers in a circle, which is more suitable for self-driving. There is still a certain distance between scenic spots. It is more expensive to rent a car in the scenic area. It is more convenient and cost-effective to rent a car in advance. It is recommended to stay in a lake view inn, where you can stand in the room and overlook Lugu Lake, and you can also sit on the balcony to have dinner. Take pictures in the inn. The water of Lugu Lake is still very clear, and the calm and clear lake surface will inevitably keep people for a long time.

Although the water here is very clear, very cool, and looks very clean, clean enough to drink directly, and tastes sweet. But, I still don’t dare to try it.

The tour guide said: There are usually only three types of people who come to Lugu Lake:

1 is a person who has been heartbroken

2. People who want to find a place to relax

3. Those who come with someone else's husband/wife

The scenery here is really suitable for daydreaming!

"Dear Inn" has been on air for so long, why don't you go to Lugu Lake? The sky is blue, the lake is blue, the mountains are blue too, blue blue blue~

Lugu Lake in the early morning is a little cold. The lake is calm and sparkling. My god, this lake is so beautiful.

There are also flowers that look like water plants on the lake, which are the legendary water lilies, and they can be eaten locally.

Lugu Lake is like a dream, like a poem or a dream. It is clearly in my heart, but I don’t know how to express it. It is simply a secret place that can be understood but not described.

By Li Meizhi |

The beauty of Lugu Lake cannot be described in words. I believe that everyone who comes here will be melted by its beauty. Even if all the words of praise are exhausted, they cannot express how I feel about it.

Wandering by the lake, my mind is blank, without any distractions. I just let my soul fully feel the beauty bestowed by God.

Please pay attention to the popular boats on Lugu Lake. Not only is there a charge for rowing, but there is also a charge for taking photos on the boat.

Many roads around Lugu Lake are also very beautiful. When there are no cars, you can take some road photos. Also, please note that there are many benches and hammocks on the shore at many viewing platforms that look suitable for taking photos. Most of them are charged, so be sure to check if there are any signs.

I got up early to watch the sunrise on both mornings during my stay at Lugu Lake. I was lucky enough to see two different scenes.

However, it was a cloudy day and I didn't see the sunrise, but the scenery this morning was like an ink painting...

By Flowers bloom quietly |

I don't know how to give her an accurate metaphor, just like I have exhausted all the words in my mind to describe her, but I can only say that she is "incredibly beautiful". Even though I have seen many pictures in the guidebook before going there, I was still conquered by the softness at the first sight. Say she is as quiet as a mirror? I don't think it is accurate enough, because who says a mirror must be quiet. Say she is quiet? She is indeed as quiet as if there is not a ripple on the observation deck. Say she is vast? It is even more inappropriate, because she is not famous for her vastness. In short, using "she" to describe her is the most in line with my feelings.

Lugu Lake is really suitable for couples to visit together. You can stroll quietly by the lake, watch the sunrise and sunset, the blue sky and white clouds, and the rippling water. It is very romantic. I hope I will have the opportunity to visit Lugu Lake again with my significant other in the future.

It is recommended that you stay in Daluoshui on the day of booking. Most buses only go to Daluoshui. If you live in Lige, there are no buses to Lige at night. It takes about an hour to get there. When choosing tickets, you must pay attention to where you get on the bus. You must buy a ticket when you arrive at Lugu Lake. There is a very interesting introduction and route map: The Land of Daughters.

At night, the distance of Lugu Lake is dark, the temperature is lower than that in Lijiang, and the weather is always unstable. You don't know if it will rain in the next second. So there is one very important thing, don't transfer at Lugu Lake Airport! ! ! Flights are often cancelled, which seriously affects your trip! !

Lugu Lake is really beautiful, unexpectedly. Before departure, I looked at the photos online and thought it was just average, but when I experienced it in person, it was completely different. It amazed me! Like a fairyland, its beauty can only be felt, dreamlike, mysterious, in the early morning, the mountains are foggy, the lake is shrouded in green smoke, and the red clouds are faint. At noon, the waves are glittering and the lake is quiet. Before departure, I had to choose between Erhai Lake and Lugu Lake. Now let me choose, I will definitely only choose Lugu Lake. The feeling of Erhai Lake and Lugu Lake is different. If you like lively, Erhai Lake is a good choice. If you are a couple, Lugu Lake is really great.

Lugu Lake is so beautiful. The wetlands by the lake are well maintained by gardeners without losing their original ecology. Pig nest boats passed by the far side of the lake and parked neatly on the shore before sunset. The colorful boats formed a beautiful landscape. The dark clouds gradually increased, blocking the distant hills. The wind also became stronger, and soon the rain came. We hurriedly hid in the awning. It was already raining heavily and the wind was really cold. It was so wonderful to feel the coldness of late autumn on such a hot summer day.

Lugu Lake is located on the border of Yunnan and Sichuan, with an altitude of about 2,685 meters. It has beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, and is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau". The Mosuo people living by the lake on the Yunnan side practice the walking marriage system of "men do not marry and women do not marry", so Lugu Lake is also known as the "Eastern Daughter Kingdom".

Highlights Overview

Lugu Lake is surrounded by green mountains and has winding and graceful shores. There are 17 beaches and 14 bays along the lake. There are 5 islands, 3 peninsulas and 1 seawall island scattered in the lake. Among them, Heiwawu Island, Liwubi Island and Lige Island are the three scenic spots with the most viewing and sightseeing value in the lake, known as the "Three Islands of Lugu". From June to August every year, water poplar flowers bloom in the lake. The flowers are as white as ice and snow, dotted with stars, and swaying in the wind. The scenery is very charming, like a fairyland on earth.

There are many villages along the lake, among which the more prosperous ones that can provide food and accommodation are mainly Daluoshui Village and Lige Village. Daluoshui Village is located on the southwest shore of Lugu Lake. It is the earliest developed village on the shore of Lugu Lake. The shuttle bus to and from Lijiang stops here. Lige Island and Lige Village are located on the northwest shore of the lake and have been popular tourist distribution centers in recent years. On the north shore of the lake are Nice Village, Xiaoluoshui and Dazui Village, which are quieter because there are fewer tourists. Going further east, you will enter Sichuan Province. Caohai and the former residence of the princess on the southeast shore of the lake are also worth stopping at.

Whether you come from Yunnan or Sichuan, it is inconvenient to go to Lugu Lake. The winding mountain road has many bends and steep slopes, and it takes two or three hours to get there. Recently, some sections of the road in Sichuan are still under construction, which is prone to traffic jams.

Although the roads are all mountainous, the road conditions are very good.

The temperature difference between morning and evening in Lugu Lake is large, so be sure to bring a thick coat to keep warm.

Although things in Rig are a bit expensive and there are few choices

But if you have enough time

I still recommend staying at least one night in Rigg

Feel the beauty and romance of Rige slowly and carefully

Then go to Daluoshui to stay for 2 nights, circle the lake and take a boat trip

Hike to Xiasanjia Village

Lugu Lake trip is perfect

You should go in July or August, when the water lilies are in full bloom and look more beautiful. I went in June, and there were only a few flowers at the beginning, and the boats that go to see the flowers were not sailing, which was a pity. In addition, if you want to take a tour around the lake, you can sign up at the long-distance bus station, which is very convenient. A tour around the lake is a real Lugu Lake tour. If you have time, it is best to stay a few more days and go to the local bonfire party at night to experience the customs of the daughter country.

It is a very worthwhile place to visit. We went to the Sea of Grass. We wanted to see the sea of grass change color, but unfortunately the weather was warm and most of the grass was green. However, the glass realm was very flat like a mirror, which was beyond our expectations. You must go to Goddess Bay and Goddess Mountain to feel the beauty of nature.

The lake water is clear, the wind blows and the waves surge. The red-billed gulls that fly from Siberia for the winter are noisy around the tourists who throw bread crumbs. In the distance, the Goddess Gem Mountain stands quietly by the lake, guarding this pure land. The deep surface of this third largest deep-water lake in the country is truly fascinating.

【Lugu Lake】-Main ethnic group: Mosuo

About 2700 meters above sea level

Lugu Lake, commonly known as Zuosuohai, was named Ledehai and Lukuhu in ancient times. In the Mosuo language of the Naxi ethnic group, "Lu" means ravine and "Gu" means inside, which means the lake in the ravine. Lugu Lake is the highest lake in Yunnan Province and the third largest deep-water lake in China. The Mosuo, Yi and Pumi people mainly live around Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people are the only matriarchal society still existing in China. They practice the "walking marriage" system of "men do not marry and women do not marry", so people call Lugu Lake the "Daughter Kingdom".

Ordinary ticket: 35 RMB

transportation:

There are tourist buses to Lugu Lake every morning from the Yuhe Square parking lot at the entrance of Lijiang Ancient Town. The bus can reach Daluoshui Village for 71-100 yuan per person. There are many buses every day and the journey takes about 4 hours. There are also buses to Daluoshui Village in Lugu Lake from Lijiang Bus Station every day.

No exaggeration, no slander, real feelings

The most beautiful and comfortable route in northwest Yunnan in November

A heavy snowfall at the end of October covered the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lugu Lake in silvery white.

It is rare to see snow in Lugu Lake in winter. It is different from the dry cold of the north with snow, and different from the bone-chilling cold of the south with continuous rain.

Not far away, the leaves of the ginkgo tree have not completely fallen. The crackling of the bonfire and the shouting of the people in the village can be vaguely heard.

Taking a pig trough boat to tour Lugu Lake is the most beautiful moment of the trip. After watching the high-end version, you may even feel that the scenery of Erhai Lake is just like that. Moreover, Lugu Lake not only has extremely beautiful lakes and mountains, but also natural and primitive folk customs. The Mosuo people are the only matriarchal society in China that still exists and practice the walking marriage system. There are also many small houses built on the mountains along the way, living a self-sufficient natural life. Although it takes 4 hours to drive from Lijiang to Lugu Lake, it is really worth it. Go and see it early. In addition to the development of tourism, I feel that the humanistic customs will gradually disappear.

For many people who have never been there, Lugu Lake is a beautiful legend.

For many people who have never been there, Lugu Lake may seem like a very commercial and vulgar tourist destination.

Actually, both are correct

Most famous attractions are famous because of their real beauty.

Most tourists think that this place is very commercial because they only go to commercial places.

Travel is about discovery and exploration

Although Lugu Lake is not big, there are a few commercial villages around the lake.

There are still few places where people can get close to the lake, so you need to experience it slowly for yourself.

My Yunnan Travel Notes: I am waiting for the wind to come here - Yunnan Lijiang / Lugu Lake / Shangri-La Travel Notes http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/17066239.html

Lugu Lake is about a 4-hour drive from Lijiang. If I were to rank the beauty of the scenic spots in Lugu Lake, I think the ranking would be as follows:

1. Rigg Viewpoint

2. Lugu Lake Observation Deck

3. Ride a pig trough boat

4. Caohai Walking Marriage Bridge

5. Lover's Beach

6. Big Fall

Lugu Lake is very suitable for taking photos. I personally think white and yellow skirts are the best for the scenery here.

The Lugu Lake National Scenic Area is indeed as beautiful as its reputation. The sun shines on the water, sparkling. The reflections of several hills in the lake form a natural landscape painting. The lake water is clear and pure, and water lilies float on the water, appearing and disappearing from time to time, like a poem or a painting.
