Daqingshan Scenic Area

大青山景区

It is a scenic spot where the mountain and sea scenery of Zhujiajian are perfectly combined, and it is also the location of the highest peak on the island.
From the foot of the mountain to the top, there is the sea on one side and the mountain on the other. The view from the top of the mountain is very wide, and it is a quiet place overlooking the beach.
Qingshan Peak is the highest point of Zhujiajian and a good place to overlook the entire Daqing Mountain. You can drive to the top of the mountain by car.
The scenic area has prominent sea erosion landforms, which bring together various island landscapes such as sea cliffs and sea headlands. It is known as the "gathering place of sea cliffs and reefs."

It rained lightly on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, but since we had free time and the highway was free, we decided to go. Perhaps because of the rain, the sea was yellow today. But when I visited Nansha in the summer, the sea was always blue. The scenic area is large, and cars can drive right into it. The off-season fee is 60 yuan per person, which is well worth it for someone like me who enjoys mountain driving. Over 90% of the road is one-way, with only a short, steep section, making it suitable for beginners. It wasn't thrilling enough for me, but it's quite spacious and quite enjoyable. The section to Qingshan Peak is a bit steeper, so we had to take the scenic bus. The driver we met was incredibly thrilling, leaving me both terrified and satisfied, and my children wanted to ride again. For those who enjoy driving, it's a great place to go when the weather warms up. You can stroll along the beach and swim in the sea. Personally, I think it's more fun than Nansha.

In Zhoushan's Zhujiajian Daqingshan Scenic Area, lush green mountains embrace the azure sea and blue sky. As you drive up, the panoramic views of the mountains and sea unfold, breathtaking. From the summit, the view unfurls across the Thousand Islands, waves crashing against the shore, and a gentle mountain breeze. Nature's grandeur and tranquility blend together. Strolling through the green hills and exploring the hidden valleys, every breath feels like a gift from nature, allowing the soul to truly relax and unwind.

The seaside highway along Daqingshan offers breathtaking views of the ocean, incredibly blue, and absolutely worth the 100-yuan entrance fee. Lisha is pristine, with soft sand and clear water, and plenty of amenities for washing up. The restaurant is also reasonably priced.

Here is the highest peak in Zhujiajian area. Standing there, you can see the whole Zhujiajian, which is very beautiful.

Tired from work, come here to relax, visit relatives, and it feels great to travel and relax.

Take a minibus to the top of Daqing Mountain, the scenery is superb. You can also go to the beach at the seaside, which is worth a visit.

By Escape Plan |

Daqingshan is worth visiting. You can drive in and take a walk around. The scenery is great.

By Panshan South Road |

The ticket price is 100 yuan. After passing the ticket gate, you have to walk for half an hour to get to the bus stop. It is really an amazing design. The scenery is average and suitable for self-driving around.

By Free and refreshing breeze |

There are mountains, sea, flowers and trees. It is a great scenic spot. You can drive by yourself and eat seafood.

Business hours: 7:40

Ticket price: 100 yuan in peak season, 60 yuan in off-season

You can drive into the scenic area and bring your pets.

There's a large lawn inside Daqingshan where you can set up a tent and have a picnic in the sun (open flames are not allowed). The park closes at 6 p.m., and patrols begin at 5:30 p.m. to urge you out.

By Fat Goddess |

Actually, we had already come here to ask when we arrived at Zhujiajian on the first day. There are no multi-day round-trip tickets. You can only enter once if you buy a ticket.

You can drive in here. Dogs are allowed in without any problem. There aren't many people here. It's super big. Luckily you can drive. If you walk, you will be exhausted.

There is only one road in the scenic area and there are parking spaces at each viewing platform.

There are almost no paths for people to walk on Daqing Mountain. You don't have to climb the mountain by yourself. It's very easy to go around the mountain. On the way, you can see a rest area with a large lawn. It's very clean. I put my baby down to play. I was so happy. Haha, children are so innocent. It's so satisfying.

To sum up, the scenery of Daqingshan is really beautiful, but there are too few paths for people to walk on. It is not suitable for hiking because there is basically no place to climb. If the dog does not swim, then this large lawn is worth playing. Because it has a marine climate, the whole island is very, very clean. No matter how much the dog runs, its feet are clean. There is no dirt on the dog's body. It is a huge contrast to our dusty Beijing, where a layer of dirt has to be wiped off every day.

I'd always worried the waters off Zhoushan wouldn't be blue, but the sea in Daqingshan was unexpectedly bluer than expected. It might have something to do with the water quality, the light, and the angle. Fortunately, everything was just right for us.

By Winter Bear |

Daqingshan, located in the southern corner of Zhujiajian, furthest from the main island, is well-suited for car owners. Compared to Putuoshan in Zhujiajian Nansha Park, it's much less crowded. Daqingshan boasts vast expanses of flower fields. Access is somewhat inconvenient. There's a road between the ticket office and the entrance to the Daqingshan scenic area, so we used a Didi to get in. The entrance from Zhujiajian is quite close, and Didi is quite common, but the exit is quite challenging. There are buses within the scenic area, but they seem to stop running around 5 pm or so, leaving no other transportation options. Even Didi and taxis were unavailable. We returned around 6 pm, so we walked out of the mountain.

You must drive to the Daqingshan Scenic Area. Hiking would be very far and painful.

The car can be driven all the way to the top of the mountain. There are many viewing platforms along the way and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Daqingshan is a scenic spot where Zhujiajian perfectly combines mountain and sea scenery, and it is also the highest peak on the island.

From the foot of the mountain to the top, there is the sea on one side and the mountain on the other. The view from the top of the mountain is very wide, and it is a good place to overlook the beach.

The ticket to Daqingshan is not cheap, 100 yuan per person, and children are free. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and did not take many pictures of the beautiful scenery.

By Huang Shixuan |

Highly recommended, the scenic area is large and the scenery is really good

By Peppa Pig George |

The entrance to Daqingshan is halfway up the mountain. Admission is 100 yuan per person, though cars are free. Simply follow the signs; the road is all mountainous. Every few minutes, you can park and admire the scenery and take photos. We stopped at each parking spot to take in the stunning scenery. When we got home that evening, we deleted all the photos we had taken because they were nothing compared to the views from the summit. Once we reached Qingshan Peak, we were like, "Oh my god! It's breathtaking!" I think everyone who's been there will agree.

By rego |

It contains several viewing platforms, including Qingshan Peak, the highest peak in Zhujiajian, Lisha, the most beautiful beach, and Daqingshan. It is worth a day's visit. You can drive into the scenic area by yourself (in fact, you can't play on foot). The roads in the scenic area are basically built along the mountain along the coast. There are still some good angles for changing scenery. You need to take the scenic area bus to Qingshan Peak, the highest peak (the road is very narrow and dangerous, private cars are not allowed to go up, and it also depends on luck. It is often shrouded in clouds and fog, and it will not be open if the fog is heavy). The roads in the scenic area are basically one-way streets, and you can play the whole way.

We bought a combined ticket for the Impression Putuo Temple and the Impression Putuo Temple, which cost about 50 yuan per person. Compared to the 100 yuan entrance fee, 50 yuan was quite acceptable. We drove there ourselves, and luckily my husband was driving; I, a female driver, wouldn't have dared. The navigation misdirected us to Shau Kei Wan, so our route took us to Shau Kei Wan, Qingshangang, and Niutoushan. Then, we drove to Shau Kei Wan and took the scenic bus up the mountain to see Qingshan Peak. Finally, we drove back to Qingsha, where we took the kids for a great time playing on the beach and swimming, and finally drove back to the hotel via the scenic area entrance. The scenery along the way was quite nice, with mountains and the sea on one side, and you could stop at each scenic spot to take photos. Since it's a one-way street, it's best to drive slowly to avoid missing anything. If possible, I recommend visiting Qingshan Peak (it's just a small viewing platform), but the scenery is stunning, and the mountain mist is shrouded in cool air. I was reluctant to go down the mountain, as it was much hotter down there! The final beach was also nice. While the water wasn't turquoise, it was clean. The swimming rings were free to rent, and the kids had a blast. There were also footbaths and lockers, and it was clean too. There were even some swings nearby, which I thought was pretty good. The entrance fee might be a bit pricey, but everything else in the area is free, except for meals and the marine activities. (The photos are all in my camera, so I won't upload them!)

By China-TravelNote users |

Tickets are 100 yuan each, and children are free. Cars can drive in, and there are many beautiful views along the way.

When you reach the middle of the mountain, you need to transfer to the scenic area's minibus to reach the highest peak. The waiting time is also acceptable. I personally feel that there is a bus every ten minutes.

The scenery at the highest peak is breathtaking, so it is recommended to bring a light jacket as the wind is very strong in the clouds.

By Little yellow hair loves sugar cubes |

The scenery is great, I really like the feeling here, but the prices of meals are generally much higher, but going out is a spending activity, so you should be more open-minded to avoid being ripped off.

In Han Han's film "Surfing the Waves," the racing scene with Deng Chao was filmed in Zhoushan. Haha, it seems Han Han has a particular preference for Zhoushan.

This place is perfect for self-driving. The hotel owner drove us in and we used the owner's and his friend's ID cards, so we didn't have to pay for tickets.

The Daqingshan Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains on one side and the sea on the other. With a ticket, you can ride the bus for free. There's also a small fishing village within, which I really enjoyed. The stone houses and the simple, down-to-earth atmosphere of the people there give it a sense of...home.

I absolutely love it. It's near the coast of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. It's beautiful, with mountains and water. It was a pleasant surprise. I was stunned. It's in no way inferior to sea views abroad. I love it.

Nice natural scenery! It would be beautiful if the sea was blue! I stayed in a nice B&B and ate homemade seafood! I will come again if I have the chance! Finally, I left the photos I took, haha 😄

Going to the top of the mountain to see the sea, the scenery is really beautiful and makes people feel relaxed and happy.

For families with young children, Daqingshan is still very good: the sea of flowers, hammocks, swings, vines, and beaches are all to the children's liking, and are also good for adults who accompany them to play. The Zhanglin Leisure Area not only has hammocks and swings, but also provides tables and chairs under the shade of trees for picnics and playing cards; you can go surfing on the beach; of course, the highlight is the coastal self-driving trip later, and the scenery from the observation deck is still quite good.

By lotus |

The entrance fee is 100 yuan per person, and you can drive the entire route, one-way. It's a truly refreshing place! Once there, you'll forget about the city. It's worth a visit. There are places to eat, but no accommodations. There's a fruit picking area. The roads are very well maintained. Bring your swimsuit and go swimming; the entrance fee includes swimming! You can also ride a jet ski. It's a great place to take wedding photos.

By Jiangnan |

Generally speaking, the ticket price is a bit high and the quality of the tour is not very high. The scenery should be worth seeing on a sunny day.

By China-TravelNote users |

It's terrible, truly terrible. Why does a tiny beach charge such a high entrance fee? Are you crazy about money? Have you been to Long Beach, Phuket, Bali, or Saipan? Where else do you charge admission to beaches? All the beaches in Zhujiajian charge admission. I want to tell you, to boost the tourism economy, you don't need to raise entrance fees, but rather focus on retaining visitors and earning indirect income. Even if you charge admission because you've developed the beach, why is it that on such a large beach, only a small area is allowed to swim, and no other areas are allowed to swim. The lifeguards are so rude that they won't even let you into the gravel pile at the beach. Sigh, I'll definitely never go there again.

By wild kiwi |

It's ok, not worth the ticket price, you can see Nansha Beach from a high place

By Orangeらmm |

The scenery is beautiful, it is recommended to come once... The sea water is also very clear

We took a road trip there during the holidays, hoping to take the kids to the beach. Zhoushan is the only relatively close destination. We went to Putuo, but it was too crowded, so we decided it wasn't a good place to go during the holidays, so we decided to leave it to out-of-town tourists. We also visited the nearby Daqingshan Mountains, which were absolutely stunning. The drive up the mountain, including Daqingshan National Forest Park, led us straight out of the forest to the beach, a truly unique experience. The kids were thrilled.

One-day tour to Daqingshan

I arrived in Zhujiajian a little after 10 AM on Saturday. I noticed a minor glitch with AutoNavi Maps, which kept saying I was driving on an unnamed road. So I just followed the signs. We passed Nansha and a family-run hotel, but there were so many people stopping to eat that we couldn't drive fast. Once we passed Nansha, everything was fine, and we drove all the way to Daqingshan. I bought my ticket at the gate. As usual, under-18s get half-price tickets.

The entrance indicated that Qingshan Peak was closed. The rest were self-drive.

A little further in, we came to a lot of parking and a view of the ocean. Since we hadn't done much research (and had no idea what Qingshan Peak was), we just followed the crowd and parked. We went to the visitor center. We had planned to ask questions, but there were no staff. However, we saw many tourists resting and some washing their feet. Based on our experience, we knew there was water nearby.

So I went back to the car to get my flip-flops. I went in the water. I also found a nearby beach where I could swim (I later learned it was actually the Risa Scenic Area). After a while of driving, we found a winding mountain road with beautiful scenery. Parking is available near the scenic spots. After nine kilometers of one-way street, we arrived at a fishing village. The villagers were selling small businesses like fried noodles, corn, watermelon, and drinks. I sat down and ate some watermelon. We lined up for the special bus to Qingshan Peak. The bus had eight seats and it was full, so it departed. The mountain road is steep, so private vehicles are not allowed. Only after getting off the bus did I realize that Qingshan Peak is a natural air conditioner. The cool breeze of white mist washed away the summer heat. The same thing happened on the way down the mountain. The bus was full with eight people, so it departed.

Back at the village entrance, we got in the car and drove back to Lisha, where we went swimming in the sea. This is the most popular activity in Daqingshan in the summer.

The entrance fee to Daqingshan is 100 yuan. Aside from the lockers for swimming, food, and drinks, almost everything else is free. Of course, sailboats and motorboats also cost money. For safety reasons, swimming rings are also free.

By Schrödinger's cat |

After playing in Lisha for about an hour, we took the free bus to Daqingshan Scenic Area. There was a tour guide on the bus to explain the attractions along the way. Every time we arrived at a viewing platform, the bus would stop and give tourists ten minutes to get off and enjoy the view.

By Orange Jun~ |

The scenic area is quite large and can be entered by car for ¥100 per person. When you are tired of playing on the beach, you can rest in the woods next to it. There are hammocks and swings. It is a very suitable place for vacation and leisure. You can play all day.

By Niu Niu |

It is a very good beach in Zhoushan. There is little light pollution when you go there at night. If you are lucky, you can even take pictures of the starry sky.

By ty34 |

Daqingshan is okay except for the beach, everything else is just average.

By China-TravelNote users |

It is better not to come to Daqingshan. The service is bad and the transportation in the tourist area is inconvenient. Most of the time is wasted waiting for the bus.

By Qingyun Yixiao |

I went to Daqingshan hoping to see the fishing harbor from the top, but when I got to the entrance, the price was staggering. I could have tried seafood! So I skipped going in and looked around. Due to cloudy weather and the fact it wasn't fishing season, I didn't get to witness the magnificent spectacle from up high: "Where drums and horns blare, hundreds of boats compete for the top. A thousand sails line the archipelago, merchants from all over the country gather. The rising sun bathes the harbor road in a thousand hues of rosy clouds. The setting sun casts a shadow on returning sails, and the night stalls are a scene of dazzling fish." I could only watch the rising tide and listen to the Buddhist chants to calm my mind. While it wasn't a thrilling experience, it did have a profound and profound artistic conception. Daqingshan, I'll definitely go back to it someday.

The main scenic area of Keshiketeng World Geopark has many stone mortars. The scenic area is beautiful, but it closes in November every year. The transportation is too inconvenient and you need to charter a car to go there.

By Dadayu |

It started raining when we got there, and we saw a huge couple of mantises, haha. We climbed the mountain and watched the sea.

By ty34 |

The beach at Daqingshan is okay, but the scenic spots are pretty average, just going around the mountain.

By Wish |

The scenery is very good and can be given 4 points. The ticket price is 100 yuan per person and I really want to give it 0 points! The fact that everything in Zhoushan requires a ticket really makes people feel the strong smell of money, and a small hill can also receive 100 yuan. In fact, it is just a natural scenery, and it takes a long time to drive in and out. Maybe because there is a bathing beach, everyone is naturally counted as going to swim.

By Gu Xiaoliang |

It was good. I was able to swim in the sea during the National Day holiday. I was overjoyed. However, it was inconvenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. I took a Didi taxi when I entered, and had to charter a car for 40 yuan when I got there. The development of the scenic spot is not yet mature, but the scenery is beautiful.

By Sika Sika |

When we entered the scenic area around 8am, it was relatively quiet. There are actually only a few sites, with two beaches. I recommend the second one, as most people are crowded on the first. The other sites are mostly observation decks.

By Snore~ |

The scenery is great, and you can enjoy the seaside scenery on the road around the island

By Afterglow |

Daqingshan Scenic Area is the southernmost and largest scenic area of Zhujiajian. In fact, if you don’t want to go to the scenic area or the top of Daqingshan, it is also a good idea to drive along the coastal road and take photos as you go.

By Yang Dian Dian |

The ticket to the Daqingshan Scenic Area is only 100 yuan, but there are beaches and flower fields inside. The downside is that you need a car to go around the mountain, so it is recommended to drive yourself, which can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but also save a lot of trouble.

By Bihe Page♂ |

Our trip to Daqingshan was a real treat for us all. Originally, we hadn't planned to visit Daqingshan, only Dongji Island. However, ferry tickets were tight, and the only return ticket was the 6:00 AM one. So, we decided to visit Zhujiajian on a whim. The 100 RMB ticket seemed a bit pricey at first, but after spending most of the day there, it was truly worth it. The winding mountain road, with cliffs on one side and a turquoise sea and beach on the other, was a truly wonderful experience. Driving by yourself, stopping whenever you saw the stunning scenery, it was truly a delightful experience! The scenic area offers a vast beach, soaring over the towering Daqingshan Mountains, and experiencing the shrouded mist, all while enjoying the thrill of a self-guided drive. It's a highly recommended destination. The beach opened in early July, and we arrived at the perfect time. We spent hours soaking in the water, playing in the waves, and playing in the sand. We were reluctant to leave. Finally, we transferred to the scenic bus halfway up the mountain to reach the summit, where we could overlook the Zhoushan Islands. Everyone couldn't help but exclaim, "It's so beautiful!" In short, you need to experience the beauty of Daqingshan in person. If the weather is good, you will definitely linger there.

By Real teddy bear |

It exceeded expectations. Driving into the mountains, the scenery was endless along the way. I encountered a sea of rapeseed flowers. It is highly recommended for family trips.

By Lone Crane |

The beach was very comfortable, and in the distance we could see the Daqing Mountain, whose peaks were obscured by gossamer clouds. Driving to the top of the mountain, we were surrounded by clouds and mist.

The typhoon is coming, so I chartered a car with my son to visit Daqingshan. It was so cool! The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh!

By Yu Xiaomo |

Daqingshan is the most expensive attraction in Zhujiajian. Halfway up the bus, we'll transfer to a tour bus with a guide explaining the entire route. We'll stop at several scenic spots for five to ten minutes to take photos. Finally, we'll basically play on the beach at the foot of the mountain. Remember to wear shorts and flip-flops; swimming is prohibited.

By Beichen's Leaves |

It is a large park with few people and closer to nature. You can take a sightseeing bus or stroll around on your own. You can overlook the sea and there are unexpected small beaches. They are all deserted and belong to you.

By Twin Sister |

There is a coastal road that winds along the mountain, as well as a dedicated bicycle lane, which also passes by the beach. It can really be said to be a place where you can go up the mountain and down to the sea. Nansha is not far away, so there are relatively few people on the beach here.

By fay |

The coastal ring road in Daqingshan is a good scenic spot. You can drive in and the scenery along the way is also good. Lisha inside is also cleaner and less crowded than Nansha.

By Momo Fruit |

I just visited Daqingshan today. First, let's talk about transportation. It takes about an hour to get there from the Zhoushan toll gate. Secondly, there are a lot of food stalls and accommodations near the entrance. The best option is probably the Westin, which opened in July 2014 (the sea view rooms are amazing!). Third, let's review the scenic area. Admission is 100 yuan per person, and starting on November 16th, the off-season admission price is 60 yuan per person. Unless you're a sports enthusiast or a hardcore sports fan, most people choose to drive. The route is quite long, but there aren't many attractions. The highlights are probably a small beach and a few observation decks. The rest of the trip is spent in a car—not very cost-effective!

Daqingshan is a scenic spot in Zhujiajian where the mountains and the sea are perfectly combined. Driving from the bottom of the mountain, you will see green all around. From the foot of the mountain to the top, you will see the sea on one side and the mountain on the other. Driving all the way to the top, you will have a wide view overlooking the beach. It is a very quiet and good place.

The scenery at Daqing Mountain is amazing! If you have a student ID, remember to bring it! If you don't have one, you can get one; it's half price. If you can't drive up to the top, you can take the minibus that goes around Lisha Island. The fare is included in the ticket, so you don't need to pay extra.

I posted photos from Daqingshan, and many friends thought I was in a foreign country, haha. It's truly stunning. The weather was also great that day, and I was able to see the sea of clouds from the summit. The Three-Colored Sea and the Five Sands below were barely visible through the mist. It was truly stunning. It's not as famous as Nansha, but it's definitely more beautiful.

The ticket to Daqingshan is 100 yuan, including public transportation within the scenic area. Because it is a one-way street, the scenery is very good when you drive by yourself, but you can only drive to Shau Kei Wan. The slope is steeper and you have to change to the scenic area shuttle bus to get to the top of the mountain. There are several exciting turns, 360 degrees, which is scary. The scenery at the top of the mountain is very good, and you can see the beautiful scenery of the five sand chains in the Nansha area of Zhujiajian.

Daqingshan is a place worth visiting. The ticket is 100 yuan. You can drive in and take in the beautiful coastal road. You can stop at any time to enjoy the scenery. There are not many people and few cars. It is worth a day to slowly savor it in the mountains.

This was a surprise for me when I went to Zhoushan, besides the beach... It's suitable for self-driving tours because the transportation is so inconvenient!

The road conditions are very good for self-driving tours. You can see the mountains and the sea on the way.
