Lingyan Scenic Area is the smallest scenic spot in Yandang Mountain and one of the "Three Wonders of Yandang." Within this small area, numerous attractions are housed, centered around Lingyan Temple. Behind it, the dazzling Pingxia Peaks rise like brocade, and to its left and right, the towering Tianzhu and Zhanqi cliffs stand opposite each other, each a thousand-foot cliff. However, the highlight is the "Lingyan Flying Crossing" performance (Monday through Thursday), which is a real draw for visitors.

Lingyan has three main attractions: the Lingyan Ferry, the Broken Heart Cliff, and the Xiaolongqiu. A visit lasts a maximum of three hours, including the Lingyan Ferry. The Ferry only runs at 10:00 a.m., so plan your time accordingly.
① The Lingyan Flying Crossing takes place between Tianzhu Peak and Zhanqi Peak, on either side of Lingyan Temple. The show begins with a descent at Tianzhu Peak, followed by a crossing. The best viewing spot is near Lingyan Temple. I saw the 10:00 a.m. show, which lasted about 30 minutes and is well worth a visit.
② Climb up the stone path to the Heartbroken Cliff, passing the glass plank road next to the Solitary Beauty Peak. From the cliff, the Little Dragon Pool cascades down. Above the Dragon's Mouth lies a serene green pond, where a white jade Guanyin statue resides and several red carp swim leisurely, creating a scene reminiscent of a secluded mountain valley. Continue up the stream, completing the loop and ending at the Sleeping Dragon Pool.
③ "Xiaolongqiu", in addition to going up the mountain to overlook "Xiaolongqiu", you can also look up at "Xiaolongqiu" at the foot of the mountain, the momentum is even more spectacular, but the premise is that there must be a big water
I went to Yandang Mountain five years ago in 2014. At that time, Wolong Valley was closed, but Xiaolongqiu was pretty good.
You can enter the Lingyan Scenic Area (Figure 3) by climbing over the railings near Tianxin Pavilion in Fangdong Scenic Area and going down the mountain. Near the Lotus Cave or Juexing Zen Temple in Lingyan Scenic Area, you will see the sign in Figure 2 and walk along the small path in front to reach the Jingming Valley Scenic Area.
It was free back then, I don’t know if it’s still available now.
Lingyan, located in the heart of Yandang Mountain, covers an area of 9 square kilometers and boasts 91 scenic spots. Its majestic peaks, winding cliffs, eerie ancient caves, and intricate carvings create a myriad of forms. "Yandang Mountain is the most magnificent of all, and Lingyan is the most extraordinary," earning it the nickname "Mingting Court" of Yandang Mountain. The majestic pillars of heaven, the vast flags, the mysterious skylights, the fantastical dragon noses, the sharp and elegant brushstrokes, the solitary beauty, the enchanting beauty of jade maidens, and the soaring dance of mandarin ducks are all breathtaking. A day trip here, complete with a visit to the high-altitude flyover show, Xiaolongqiu Waterfall, and the glass plank road, allows for approximately two hours of enjoyment.
I went there for the fame of the Three Mountains and Five Peaks, but was clearly disappointed. The site is so small that, including the show, it took me only 1.5 hours to complete. It's much smaller than the 4A-rated Eighteen Whirlpools in Zhejiang Province, and the scenery is so ordinary. It really can't be considered a 5A-rated scenic spot.
2023.7.19 The father and son visited Lingyan, the last stop of Yandang Mountain. The scenery was nice and the Lingyan flying show was great, but the lack of water in Xiaolongqiu was disappointing.
The Lingyan Scenic Area in Yandang Mountain is very beautiful. Every peak changes shape and shape, which can express your imagination. It is fascinating.
Focus, highlight, brothers and sisters, in addition to the Wolong plank road, the best view in the entire Lingyan Scenic Area is the Shuangzhu Valley, which is turned right after entering the gate. Focus, the picture above
The Feidu in Lingyan Scenic Area is worth a visit, but the other attractions are just average.
It was raining when I went there, so I took some pictures of the flowing water and processed them in black and white.
Lingyan is one of the famous scenic spots in Yandang Mountain. It has many strange-shaped rocks and the Xiaolongqiu Waterfall.
Yandang Mountain is famous for its beautiful scenery and is known as "a famous mountain on the sea and a most beautiful mountain in the world". It is known as "the first mountain in the southeast of China" [1]. The main part is located on the northeast coast of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and a small part is located in the southern part of Wenling, Taizhou City. Yandang Mountain was formed 120 million years ago and is a Neogene rhyolite volcanic area in the circum-Pacific continental margin volcanic belt. "Zai Jingtang Collection" records: "Yandang Mountain is divided into North Yandang Mountain and South Yandang Mountain by the natural fault of Oujiang River. It is divided into North Yandang Mountain, South Yandang Mountain, West Yandang Mountain, East Yandang Mountain and Central Yandang Mountain according to its landscape location." The excavation of the mountain began in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and reached its peak in the Song Dynasty. Literati and poets from all dynasties came here in droves, including Xie Lingyun, Shen Kuo, Xu Xiake, Zhang Daqian, Guo Moruo, Chen Zhisui, etc., all of whom left poems and calligraphy.
Lingyan Scenic Area is one of the three wonders of Yandang Mountain.
Not bad, really not bad.
Lingyan Scenic Area is the smallest scenic spot in Yandang Mountain and one of the "Three Wonders of Yandang." Within this small area, numerous attractions are housed, centered around Lingyan Temple. Behind it, the dazzling Pingxia Peaks rise like brocade, flanked by the towering Tianzhu and Zhanqi cliffs. The highlight is the "Lingyan Flying Crossing" performance, which is a real draw for visitors. Other lesser-known attractions include Xiaolongquan, the glass plank road, and the Broken Heart Cliff.
Lingyan Scenic Area is the largest in my opinion, with beautiful scenery. The ticket price is 50 yuan. My legs are weak from climbing the mountain, but it is worth a visit.
Very beautiful, unique, beautiful, special,,,,,,
The Lingyan Flying Ferry show is very good, so don't miss it if you go. There is also a glass plank road in Lingyan Scenic Area, which looks very high from a distance, but it is not tiring to climb slowly, and it only takes 10 minutes to get up.
Lingyan Scenic Area is one of the three core scenic spots of Yandang Mountain. It goes up along the winding mountain plank road all the way to Xiaolongqiu, where there is also a glass plank road, and then up to Wolong Valley, which is a fascinating experience!
The overall feeling is okay, but I didn’t go on the glass plank road, which is a bit regrettable.
There is a flying performance in Lingyan Scenic Area, which is also a situational reproduction of the local people's traditional culture. It is similar to the "Hanging Coffin Performance" in Longhu Mountain.
The best of the three wonders of Yandang: Shuangzhu Cave, Xiaolongquan, the high-altitude iron rope show, and the glass plank road.
This is a major attraction in Yandang Mountain, but it's actually quite small, easily accessible in two hours. It lacks the imposing grandeur of a large mountain, but possesses a uniquely small charm. It resembles a bonsai, standing in the Yandang Scenic Area.
This scenic spot has many attractions. The most impressive ones are the sky-link plank road, the glass plank road, etc. It’s a pity that the glass plank road is not made entirely of glass.
Lingyan Flying Crossing is not to be missed. The performance is very short. There is one show at 2pm and one at 4pm.
We were full of expectations before coming here, but after arriving, we felt that the scenic spot was not managed at all. We were stuck in traffic for an hour, and then we parked the car in a hotel parking lot and walked to Lingyan. We originally planned to go to Dalongqiu, but it was too far to walk.
The attraction is small and not too crowded, but there is a long queue at the glass plank road.
There are a lot of tour guides chasing you at the entrance to explain. I hate this. The scenery can only be regarded as an ordinary park, with mountains but no water. It can be regarded as a 3a park at most. I am very disappointed.
Very beautiful, highly recommended! The only problem is the parking lot!
Three or four scenic spots are concentrated in Lingyan Scenic Area, which is also the one with the most tourists. It basically has all the characteristics of Yandang Mountain. Not bad!!!
Lingyan Zen Temple is located in the mountains. This temple seems familiar. Standing at the door and looking far away along the sound of water, you can see Xiaolongqiu.
Among the many scenic spots in Yandang Mountain, Lingyan Scenic Area is relatively rich in content. It has flying performances, Lingyan Temple, Wolong Valley, Xiaolongqiu, and a glass plank road. However, the glass is relatively dirty and you can hardly see below, so it doesn’t feel dangerous. The scenery is also good. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to visit the core attractions.
Lingfeng, Lingyan, and Dalongqiu are known as the Three Wonders of Yandang Mountain, and a must-see on any trip to Yandang Mountain. All three are relatively close, and if you have time, you can purchase a combined ticket. However, I purchased a separate ticket for Lingyan. Although Lingyan is a well-known attraction in Yandang Mountain, my visit was off-season, just before the Qingming Festival, and the rainy weather meant few visitors, allowing me to fully appreciate Lingyan's beauty. The peaks of the Yandang Mountain area are distinct from those of other mountainous regions, with their jagged, rocky peaks creating a unique character. Lingyan Scenic Area's main attractions include Pingxiazhang, Lingyan Temple, Tianzhu Peak, Zhanqi Peak, Lingyan Flying Crossing, Xiaolongqiu, Longbi Cave, Zhuobi Peak, and Wolong Valley. Perhaps due to the weather, the area was very quiet, with a fresh, and tranquil atmosphere. I was lucky to arrive just in time for a performance of the Lingyan Flying Crossing. The performers are said to be local villagers, skilled in the art of walking on a tightrope, traversing cliffs. However, I still prefer to see natural landscapes. Yandang Mountain has the Big Dragon Waterfall, and Lingyan Scenic Area has a corresponding Little Dragon Waterfall. While Little Dragon Waterfall isn't as beautiful as the Big Dragon Waterfall, it's more imposing, and the sound of rushing water can be heard from far away. Lingyan Scenic Area has also adopted the trendy glass plank walkway, but perhaps because of the rain, the glass is stained and not very clear, so I personally don't find it scary at all. Climbing higher up the mountain, there's a scenic spot called Broken Heart Cliff, said to be the filming location for Jin Yong's novel "The Return of the Condor Heroes." Standing there, you can see a vast expanse of the entire scenic area, with the blend of mountain and water scenery being truly stunning. The entire scenic area is not large, and it only takes two or three hours to explore it all. Perhaps because of the high level of negative oxygen ions in the mountains, despite the climb, it's not tiring at all.
Lingyan is a must-see and it is definitely not the smallest attraction (Dalongqiu is so mad because Dalongqiu is so small) There are many things to see and do.
Lingyan Scenic Area is located in the center of Yandang Mountain. From a distance, you can see the "Guanyin Sitting on the Lotus Platform" and "Tianzhu Peak" and other scenery.
The flying show was average; I personally didn't find it very interesting. The mountain road up to Xiaolongqiu was quite nice. Let's talk about the rarely mentioned Shuangzhu Valley (not sure if that's the name anymore). After entering the scenic area, there's a mountain road behind the stone statues that leads to it. It's rarely visited by tourists, but it's quite nice. There's a waterfall up there, which is quite nice. There's also a scenic spot called Guanyin Cave, which is quite far away. We walked halfway and gave up.
The peak attraction: Lingyan Flying Ferry, which is available every morning and afternoon and is thrilling.
The best scenery in the entire Yandang Mountain is Lingyan Scenic Area. I highly recommend it.
There are scenery, performances, stories, and a glass plank road suspension bridge. This scenic spot must be recommended. Hahahahaha
After lunch at the scenic area, we drove ten minutes to our second attraction, Lingyan Scenic Area. The area isn't large, so it took just over an hour to explore. Its main attractions are Lingyan Temple, Xiaolongquan, and the Lingyan Ferry. Entering the area, shaded by greenery and gurgling streams, the air is incredibly fresh and cool, and breathing deeply makes you feel much more refreshed. About another 10 minutes later, we came upon a temple called Lingyan Temple. Nestled against Lingyan Rock, the temple is named after the rock itself and is one of the Eighteen Ancient Temples of Yandang. Despite its small size, the temple is bustling with visitors and attracts a large number of worshippers. Surrounded by peaks and towering ancient trees, the setting is exceptionally tranquil.
We went up from the right side of Lingyan Temple to watch the Lingyan Flying Crossing performance. A 20 yuan cup of tea included a seat. In the past, the locals would climb the mountain to collect herbs, traversing the cliffs on ropes. Now, this has become a performance. The Tianzhu and Zhanqi peaks, each over 200 meters high, tower over a thousand feet. A rope was strung between the two cliffs, and professionals walked on it, set off firecrackers, somersaulted, and even performed bicycle shows. From the ground, we were terrified, both thrilled and concerned for the performers' safety. Although the figures in the sky looked like ants from afar, we could still sense the thrill of the soaring cliffs. Finally, we saw them leisurely strolling from one end to the other. Then, for the second act, two performers tied safety ropes from Tianzhu Peak and leaped vertically from the top to the base. Wow, it was more thrilling than watching a movie! Even those of us with a fear of heights, watching from over 200 meters, the equivalent of a 70-story building, had our legs shaking. How thrilling must it be to see them descend from there? The ticket price was well worth it.
After watching the Lingyan Ferry, I walked back to Lingyan Temple and took a leisurely walk along the narrow path behind the temple, enjoying the coolness of the summer. After a while, I saw a waterfall falling from the cliff. It was Xiaolongqiu, but the water volume was relatively small. I took a photo and went back.
You will climb to the top of the mountain and overlook all the mountains below. The steepness of the mountain is its characteristic, which will definitely scare you to scream.
Lingyan Flying Ferry is one of the three unique attractions of Yandang. Located in the center of the Lingyan Scenic Area, Tianzhu Peak and Zhanqi Peak stand opposite each other at similar heights. A rope is stretched between the tops of the two peaks, and acrobats perform various difficult movements on it, accompanied by commentary and music.
There are two performances of Lingyan Flying Crossing every day, and one more on holidays. I happened to catch the only performance in the morning. It starts at 10:30. The best seats for watching the performance are on both sides of the main hall.
The first performance featured an acrobat dangling from the top of Tianzhu Peak, dangling on a rope and stomping down the rock face. Another acrobat then used a pulley to slide down the rope from Tianzhu Peak to Zhanqi Peak, performing somersaults and other maneuvers along the way. The entire performance lasted about 20 minutes, and I personally think it was even worse than the flying crossover I saw at Sandiequan in Lushan that year.
After the Lingyan Flyover, we all headed to the same spot: Xiaolongqiu Waterfall in the Lingyan Scenic Area. Unlike the previous waterfalls, Xiaolongqiu finally gave me a glimpse into the waterfalls of Yandang Mountain, and rekindled my hopes for the upcoming Dalongqiu.
To avoid peak hours, I stopped by Longbi Cave before heading to Xiaolongqiu. I discovered it had become a deserted Guanyin Temple. The filming location for the "Broken Heart Cliff" scene in "The Return of the Condor Heroes" starring Huang Xiaoming and Liu Yifei was closed due to renovations on the glass plank road, so I missed it.
It is also the location of Xiaolongqiu Waterfall, where Lingyan Feidu performances are held regularly.
Lingyan Scenic Area is actually a large area, encompassing two main attractions: Lingyan Temple and Xiaolongquan. There's a Lingyan Flying Ferry performance at a fixed time each day, though it's canceled in bad weather. I have a lot of respect for the performers!
I have to say that I am still a little disappointed with this scenic spot, mainly because:
1. Why is Wolong Valley closed again? 2. Too many people 3. Flying is boring
However, the scenery is still good and it is the easiest to play. If Wolong Valley is open, please cherish it...
I watched the 3D night scene of Lingyan last night. It was so beautiful that I couldn't help but linger...
Yandang Mountain's most famous scenic spots include the lifelike Hezhang Peak and the majestic Guanyin Cave. The various peaks offer a variety of views, and if you have a strong imagination or follow your guide, you can discover the meaning of these volcanic rocks, which is the essence of "spirituality".
There are several caves pointed to by signposts on the left side of Guanyin Cave. There is no need to climb up. There are two temples built in the cave. If you don’t worship Buddha, save your energy to see other scenery.
Among the three wonders of Yandang Mountain, Lingyan Temple, Xiaolongqiu and Xiake Pavilion all have their own merits. Among them, Broken Heart Cliff is the filming location of "The Return of the Condor Heroes".
The Lingyan Flying Crossing in Lingyan Scenic Area is quite unique. Xiaolongqiu and Dalongqiu are similar. There are several scenic spots that require climbing, which is a bit strenuous.
I only had one day to visit Yandang Mountain, and Jingming Valley exceeded my expectations in this weather. But I had to find another Yandang Mountain attraction anyway. Sitting by the minivan window, I could see a suspension bridge looming in the distance amidst the mountains. It was thrilling! I wanted to go there! Where?
Lingyan Scenic Area
I walked into a small scenic area with few tourists and bought a cable car ticket to go up the mountain (60 yuan). I forgot how much the ticket cost, but it was not expensive at all, much cheaper than the cable car ticket.
Whether you're in the cable car or on the mountaintop plank road, the idyllic scenery is truly breathtaking. What does the scenery look like? Take a look below.
The clouds and mist in the valley sometimes appear and sometimes disappear. I stood on the plank road at the edge of the cliff and simply waited for a few minutes. Immediately, the scenery changed due to the changes in the clouds and mist: sometimes it was clearly visible in front of my eyes, and sometimes a thick fog came over, and it was all white, like a fairyland.
The cable car at the foot of the cliff cave consists of three cabins tied together to go up and down, which is also quite interesting.
After getting off the cable car, I stood at the entrance of the cliff path, greedily taking in the ethereal countryside and village from above. I waited for a while, waiting for the scenery to change quickly. After taking enough photos, I hurried on, as there were still many roads and attractions to explore.
There's no charge here, but since I'm often out and about, I'm wary of all the free traps. For example, they'd say, "Free, free, light some incense, give you a free ribbon, there's a master over there who'll write an inscription for you," or "the master can tell you your fortune for free if they see if your brow is shiny or dark." I usually just leave with a flurry of thanks: "Thank you, thank you, thank you. No, no, no, no. A shiny brow is sweat from walking; a dark brow is because the person next to me on the train didn't sleep well last night because they snored..."
It is quite interesting to tour the Fangdong Scenic Area. On one side is a thousand-foot cliff, and in front of you is shrouded in mist. It is both real and illusory, and before you know it, you have arrived in front of the suspension bridge between the two mountains.
After crossing the bridge, you can walk a short distance to the end of the road. There is no road anymore, so you have to go back the way you came. I didn't see any of the "Lingyan Flying Crossing" or other scenic spots mentioned on the Internet.
When we go back, the speed will be much faster, and we won’t waste too long lingering to take pictures.
A very famous scenic spot in southern Zhejiang, it is very popular, has beautiful scenery and is worth seeing.
This should be Lingyan Cave. I clicked the wrong one. This one is really good and the scenery is also very good.
The scenery is nice. It's nice to walk around and have a look. It's quite comfortable to climb to the top and feel the breeze.
The scenic spots of Yandang Mountain are quite scattered, but there are connecting lines - buses, which are quite convenient. You can buy tickets for each attraction separately, and you can buy them as needed, which is also good. However, I didn't pay much attention to whether there are combined tickets. If there are combined tickets, and the combined tickets are cheaper, it would be better!
Lingyan Flying Crossing is one of the three wonders of Yandang Mountain. The acrobatic performance is quite thrilling. There are no safety measures at an altitude of 200 meters. Don't you think it's thrilling? While watching, you can also hear the famous Yueqing song - "Birds". There are also famous attractions such as Xiaolongqiu Waterfall, Broken Heart Cliff, Wolong Valley, etc. It is generally good. You should visit Yandang Mountain once. However, the second half of the scenic area is currently under maintenance, and you can't take the elevator to Broken Heart Cliff. Please be prepared.
The various strangely shaped rocks on the mountaintop are quite vivid. The flying performance is amazing, and people really work hard to survive.
2013.12
Since you can only park in the parking lot if you are traveling by car, if you are traveling independently, you can go up the mountain directly at the intersection of Fangdong without buying tickets for Lingyan and Fangdong.
We went inside and watched the Lingyan Flying Crossing at a temple. There's one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This temple is really interesting. Unlike other temples, they played religious music, but instead played "Husband and Wife Return Home Together."
You can enjoy the mountains and water, and walk to Xiaolongqiu. I still recommend watching Lingyan Feidu, the ancient rock climbing and picking dendrobium, and crossing the chains with bare hands. These ancient techniques and brave people may not be seen in many years. I sigh a little~~~
If you don't want to join a tour group, you can hire a guide within the scenic area. A unique feature of Yandang Mountain is that you can see it from different angles as you follow the guide, so it's best to appreciate the mountain's magnificent beauty with someone to guide you. The scenic area includes Xiaolongqiu and Lingyan Ferry, and the Lingyan night view is truly stunning at night. Climbing the steps along the stream makes the climb much easier.
It's hot, I'm not in the mood. Not enough words. Not enough words.
The focus here is the night view, but I didn't go. Generally, you can finish the tour of this scenic spot in two hours. The whole journey is very beautiful. Believe me, haha
Lingyan is also called "Little Dragon Waterfall". The elevator is out of service now. The most beautiful scenery is gone, but the ticket price is not cheap. There is a performance at 10:30
Xiaolongqiu is the most worthwhile attraction that my father and I will never forget on this trip. It is better than other attractions.
Xiaolongqiu is Lingyan~
20150318 Domestic Tour Stage 9 ~ Day 15 ~ Tour: Yandang Mountain ~ Lingyan Scenic Area! From Dalongqiu, take the Dagonghu bus in the direction of the mountain for 3 yuan and it takes about ten minutes to reach Lingyan Scenic Area. The entrance fee is 50 yuan. Compared to Dalongqiu, this place is slightly better, with more mountain views and temples. It takes only an hour to walk around.
On December 31st, I climbed Yandang Mountain in the rain. Yandang Mountain is worthy of being one of the Three Mountains. It is as steep as Mount Hua. But it was too cold.
Lingfeng offers both daytime and nighttime views, with tickets priced at 40 yuan per person. The night view of Lingfeng is truly breathtaking, transforming with every step. Lingfeng's nightscape is the soul of Yandang Mountain, its hazy twilight illuminating the dramatic rise and fall of the mountains, creating a series of mysterious silhouettes.
There is a "Lingyan Flying Crossing" performance here every day: the performer hangs on a rope from the top of Tianzhu Peak and quickly descends to the ground.
There's a flying show at Lingyan Scenic Area, but it's not very good. It's very sunny, and the view is not very clear (it's over 200 meters, and you have to look up, which is hard). Don't rush to the so-called best place to watch it, which costs 20 yuan per person, just find a place below to watch it.
Heartbroken on the cliff, a crouching dragon below. The elevator near Lingyan Temple was teeming with tourists, and the plank path traversing the rock face was even more crowded. We, a bunch of lazy folks, simply didn't want to squeeze in, so we simply gave up on the heartbroken cliff and gathered in the coolness below, instantly feeling the fatigue of the journey melt away. The 3:30 PM flying performance happened to be on, so we found a quiet spot on the hillside behind Lingyan Temple, nestled against the lush bamboo, gazing up at the ropes strung from the peaks of Tianzhu Peak and Zhanqi Peak. The performers, like nimble swallows, soared up and down, graceful as startled swans and ethereal as swimming dragons. It was truly a spectacle.
There was a wooden bridge that cost 5 yuan per person to cross. I've always loved bridges, so I went without hesitation. It was very shaky, and I had to hold on to the chains on both sides to avoid falling into the nets. Some people even deliberately swayed at the bridgehead...
Let's take a look at Feidu, which is very exciting. Wolong Valley and Xiaolongqiu are also worth seeing. Tiancong Cave and Longbi Cave require climbing mountains, which are just average.
The Lingyan Scenic Area is a bit large, but the road is relatively flat with few steps. The entrance fee is 40 yuan, and with a student ID, it is half price at 20 yuan.
Lingyan is a key scenic spot in Yandang. It has Xiaolongqiu and Wolong Valley. The scenery is beautiful and it is worth a visit.
Lingyan Temple is located in Lingyan Scenic Area, with its back against a bare cliff, like a barrier. It is very majestic.
The initial section was almost identical to that of Dalongqiu, with the scenery changing dramatically. After about a 20-minute walk, we arrived at the elevator entrance. This was our second elevator in three days. Perhaps only Zhejiang Province has an elevator installed on a mountain. After exiting the elevator, there was a 20-meter plank road. Then, we arrived at a turquoise pool. A variety of goldfish were kept in the pool, creating a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere against the backdrop of the blue water.
At Lingyan Scenic Area, if you don't have a tour guide, I recommend joining a group and listening to other guides. Otherwise, you might miss out on some of the best views. There's a Lingyan Flying Crossing performance, and you paid 40 yuan for a seat with a cup of tea (the cheapest is 25 yuan. Remember: you must reserve a seat upon entry and present your receipt before the show to take your seat and drink tea). Then, you can wait and see. Also, Shuangzhu Valley is completely dry. Shuangzhu Valley consists of two waterfalls not far from each other. As you can see in the picture below, the erosion marks on the cliff are the two waterfalls, about 60 meters apart. If the water level is high, the scenery is even more beautiful than at Big Dragon and Small Dragon Pools.
Upon entering Lingyan Scenic Area, there are many pictographic rocks. The guide gestured to the rocks based on his imagination, but at first glance, they don't look particularly unique. Some of the famous cliff carvings are also recent. However, the Lingyan Flying Ferry in Lingyan Scenic Area is worth seeing. At 1:30 pm, there is a thrilling flying ferry performance at the South Gate of Lingyan Scenic Area, where staff glide at an altitude of about 300 meters. It is quite thrilling.
The scenic area is well developed, with elevators going up the mountain, many outdoor games, and tightrope walking performances...very interesting~
Lingyan Scenic Area is one of the three main scenic areas in Yandang Mountain. It is located in the middle of Yandang Mountain. It mainly includes Lingyan (Pingxia Peak), Lingyan Temple, Xiaolongqiu, Wolong Valley (the filming of The Return of the Condor Heroes was filmed here), and other attractions. The Lingyan Flying Crossing performance is quite good.
The largest waterfall in Yandang Mountain, it cascades down from the 190-meter-high Lianyunzhang cliff with extraordinary momentum.
Lingyan Scenic Area starts from Xiangyan Gate in the east and ends at Ma'anling in the west, covering an area of 9 square kilometers and having 91 scenic spots.
Fangdong is famous for its steepness and is the place that best showcases the geological wonders of Yandang. It was carved out in the middle of the mountain, and because it is located in different rock layers, you can see different geological textures of the mountain. The Fangdong Scenic Area consists of a 1.2-kilometer plank road between mountain peaks, connecting ten scenic spots. The Fangdong plank road, also known as the "Silver Cliff Sky Corridor", was carved out along the natural rock layers on the mountainside. The plank road is opened on the "Golden Belt", the third phase of the flow rock interlayer of Yandang Mountain, and you can enjoy the volcanic geological features along the way. The Fangdong plank road is actually a suspended plank road carved out of the waist of the Jindaizhang of Yandang Mountain. The whole journey is walking on this "Golden Belt", walking along the cliff, with a cliff on the right, and you can overlook the beautiful mountains and rivers.
