Nanji Island

南麂岛

Nanji Island is the main island of the Nanji Islands and the largest of the 52 islands. It resembles a muntjac.
Nanji Island is known as the "Blue Pasture", "Fairy Blue Sea and Mountain", and "Kingdom of Shellfish and Algae". It has countless types of seafood and rare fish.
There is a rare shell-covered sandy beach in China, which is a paradise for shellfish, algae, aquatic animals and plants.
The best time to visit the island is between May and August, when there are relatively few typhoons, the sea water is clearer, and the water temperature gradually rises, making it suitable for swimming.

Nanji Island, a must-visit every year, is a summer escape. It's too cold to go there just for the seafood, the scenery, and the sea. Now, with fewer people and a quieter atmosphere, it feels unique. I went there in early June last year, and the waves at night were a fluorescent, beautiful sight. The best times to visit are July and August, when there's more to do. But avoid weekends and holidays, as prices can be higher than usual. It's best to stay near the beach for convenience. Basically, once you're on the island, you'll just hang out at Dasha'ao Beach. The next morning, you'll go to Sanpanwei to watch the sunrise. 🌄 I personally prefer staying at a farmhouse; it's affordable, and the farmhouse food is unique. Every year, I stay at Xiaoyang Fishing House, where you can go fishing with the owner for free. Chartering a fishing boat on the island costs between 2,500 and 2,800 yuan, and if you're lucky enough to catch a few yellow croaker with two nets, you can earn a lot of money. If you're a big crowd, you can enjoy a bonfire or karaoke in the evening, where the sounds of singing can echo around the island. If you want to see the sunrise, go when the weather is good and go early to choose a good spot. Both sunrise and sunset are beautiful. I plan to go to the island to eat seafood again on May Day this year😊

I went there last June. The boat ride was so tiring I nearly vomited (I don't get carsick). The scenery was beautiful, the facilities were pristine, the seafood was incredibly fresh, and I saw live snails for the first time. The prices were also very reasonable. The B&B I stayed in on the first day was quite shabby, but the food stalls there were worth trying. On the second day, I stayed in a newly opened B&B next to a fancy hotel near the Sanpanwei scenic area. It was affordable, very clean, and they even cooked your own meals. I'd really like to go back, but the boat ride was truly miserable (I was the only one of the dozens of people on the boat who didn't throw up).

Nanji Island, Wenzhou: Surrounded by turquoise waters and fine, silvery sands, the island resembles an emerald embedded in the East China Sea. With its unique reefs and rocks, azure skies and a vibrant ecosystem, it's a paradise for diving, watching fish, and catching the sunrise and sunset, a place you won't want to leave.

The scenery is super beautiful, there are many fishing houses, and it is very playful. It is suitable for staying for three to five days.

By Dream |

Because Nanji Island is quite large and the distances between scenic spots are relatively far, it is recommended to arrange a trip on the island for more than two days.

I'm waiting for you on Nanji Island. Can you let me be the lover of the sea?

By LI |

It was my first time seeing the blue sea. I heard it was nice, but the accommodation on the island was similar and not very good. Please bring your own towel. I recommend going in July and August when there will be more entertainment activities.

If you want to find a place with few people and beautiful scenery, suitable for quiet meditation, facing the sea and blooming flowers in spring, then come to Nanji Island!

By lisa |

Highly recommended. Perfect for couples, the climate is warmer than Ningbo and not too cold even during the National Day holiday. Remember to check out Nanji Villa and Nanji Bi. They're far from the sea, you can't see it, and the prices are the same as those with sea views. They're not worth staying at, and the bar is open until 9:30 PM. If you prefer a quiet stay, avoid these two hotels. Also, because they're in the mountains, pheasants crow once at midnight and every hour at 2, 3, and 4 PM, creating a vibrant reflection across the mountains. Be careful. Sanpanwei is a great place to watch the sunrise; there's no need to go around in a long circle; just walk to the natural lawn. If you're into fitness, you can continue around Sanpanwei. Farmers' seafood is okay, but they're not very good at cooking oysters. The crabs are plump in October. The beach is especially recommended; it's yellower than Hainan's, but the sand is finer and doesn't stick to the sand. It's excellent. The hotel's facilities are poor, and you won't find them clean. Staying in a farmer's house is cheaper. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

The boat ticket to Nanji Island must be purchased online in advance. You also need a ticket to go to the island, which is 100 yuan/person, and the boat ticket is 115 yuan/person. There is also a 5 yuan insurance fee. The boat ticket information for the next week is announced every Wednesday to Friday. The seats on the speedboat are very close together, and it is impossible to sit with a child.

Accommodation on the island is relatively poor, with the more expensive options near Sanpanwei. For swimming, I chose to stay in Dasha'ao. The island has its own transportation, priced at 45 yuan per person, with tickets available at the dock. Don't lose your ticket; there's a ticket check on the way to Sanpanwei. Drivers generally don't bring your ticket to other attractions. The speedboat from Aojiang Wharf to Nanji Island takes you through a journey through the water, from yellow to green to blue. Once you disembark, you can smell the ocean's scent, and the water is a turquoise. To protect the environment, the number of people visiting the island is reportedly limited to 1,500 per day. An ecological protection zone has been established on the beach, and tourists are not allowed to enter.

The next morning, after watching the sunrise at Sanpanwei, we headed to the famous natural lawn. It's said that the grass used on the football field is the same variety as the natural lawn. We then walked back along the seaside promenade. Beneath the rocks lay the turf, the azure waters. Walking along the beach, listening to the crashing of waves against the rocks, I relaxed my mind and body.

The beach is only open until 6 p.m., and swimming is prohibited after that. In the evenings, there are bonfire parties or open-air karaoke on the beach. Nanji Island is still relatively undeveloped, so the only recreational activities we saw were motorboats. The rest of the time, however, was just playing in the ocean. Our water heater broke, so we had no hot water for showers and had to share the bathroom with other guests. The stay was a very poor experience. Due to the island's limited supplies, vegetables and fruit are more expensive than seafood, as is the case on any island. Since it's still fishing season, the variety of seafood is limited, primarily shellfish and crabs. Prices are also quite high. The owner said the seafood is wild-caught, but it still tasted very fresh, likely due to the water quality. Our lunch meal of squid, two large swimming crabs, cabbage, and oysters cost 200 yuan. For dinner, we had a large portion of fried noodles, more than enough for our family of three, for only 40 yuan.

Overall, the waters of Nanji Island are quite clean, though the waves are quite large. Enjoying a variety of delicious seafood every day on the island was quite satisfying. It would have been even better with more people. The speedboat on the return trip was larger than the one we took here, with wider seating areas. It felt very stable, so I didn't feel seasick at all.

We stayed at the Lost Houlong Hotel, in a so-called fishing village. It cost over 2,500 yuan a night, and there were no services. Transportation was contracted out, including the speedboat. Every trip required a car hire. The supposedly free bus would stop by the roadside within minutes, and then tell us that if we wanted to go to the fishing village, we had to pay extra. There was a dedicated vehicle dispatcher who used a single phone number for all vehicles, and their attitude was extremely awful. We waited for a bus from the hotel to Sanpanwei for half an hour that morning. The scheduled time was 8:30 AM, but everyone stood at the front desk before they started calling for a car. The bus only held 18 people, but there were clearly over 20 of us. I reminded the receptionist to order two, but he said it was okay and there was room, so many people ended up standing. Our tickets said the last return bus was at 12:00 PM, but we started waiting at 11:30 AM. We called the dispatcher several times, but the bus that arrived either didn't leave or left empty. Finally, one arrived, and everyone rushed to get on, leaving many people standing. Because we had called the dispatcher several times, we didn't tell the driver where we were going. Halfway through the trip, we said we were going to a fishing village, but the driver, claiming he hadn't told us, told us we couldn't go. I asked, "You just want money, right?" He said yes. To avoid being irritated, we got out anyway. We called the dispatcher, who said we could get a taxi for 70 yuan. They didn't tell us how long the wait would be or where to wait. The instructions were utterly rude! It was 12 o'clock in the afternoon, and the temperature in August was probably around 40 or 50 degrees Celsius. We waited outside in the sun for at least an hour just to get back to our hotel. The roadside restaurant had no air conditioning, and wouldn't let you sit unless you bought seafood. It's such a nasty, dirty island. A popsicle costs 5 yuan, a plate of shredded potatoes 40 yuan, a fish starts at 150 yuan... Every meal requires you to buy abalone, scallops, and other items, and they get mad at you if you don't. And the speedboat to the pier, which the official website says runs four times a day, doesn't actually run. Tickets can't be purchased online; you have to pay cash at the counter and wait in line. You can't guarantee your departure time. The speedboat ticket is 115 (actually it’s a boat, not a speedboat), the bus ticket is 45, and the entrance ticket is more than 100. It would be a shame if you didn’t expose it.

The supervision phone number on the ticket cannot be reached.

To be honest, for someone like me who grew up by the sea, this place has no appeal. The environment here is not as good as that in Yuliao, and the prices are even more expensive than there!

By Smilence_Y |

The island has not yet been over-commercialized and is suitable for sea fishing.

By The cat is a little lazy |

Nanji Island feels like an undeveloped island with very few activities. After dinner, there's basically nothing to do. Besides playing on the beach and strolling around Sanpanwei, there's not much else to do. If you're interested, you can rent a fishing rod and go sea fishing, or if you're in a group of about 10, you can go fishing for around 2,500 per boat. If you're not traveling with children, a two-day itinerary is pretty similar: play in the water in the afternoon of the first day, stroll around Sanpanwei on the morning of the second day, and return in the afternoon. Nanji Island itself is just so-so; it's not as beautiful as the photos make it out to be. Be prepared and don't set your expectations too high. Traveling is all about relaxing and seeing new sights, so just be positive.

By Bury Innocence |

I visited Nanji Island once in May 2016, but the water was still very cold and I couldn't swim, so I always felt a pang of regret. I've been wanting to return since 2018. Incidentally, tickets at both the Aojiang Port Bus Terminal and the Nanji Island Pier only accept cash, not Alipay or WeChat. Plus, the window at the Nanji Island Pier doesn't even give me change. Next time I go to Nanji Island, I'll really just stay one night on the beach and get up early the next day to watch the sunrise at Sanpanwei. Nanji Island has changed a lot since my last visit, with a lot more accommodations and vendors. I hope it stays put and retains its tranquility and quietness.

By W |

1. Don't buy the return boat ticket on the island. You can buy the return ticket at the pier when you arrive. Otherwise, you need to go to the pier at 2:30 pm the day before to book it, or it will be left over by others, and it is difficult to choose the time period.

2. Don't have too high expectations for the scenery. The surrounding environment is really not that good. The locals don't seem to have the awareness to protect the environment. There is garbage everywhere and no one cleans it up. The garbage dump is really smelly. No matter how beautiful the scenery is, it will not last long.

3. The accommodation environment is really average. The island may have insufficient electricity supply during the peak season. The owner of the farmhouse sometimes turns off the air conditioner. Those who want to stay better can choose expensive hotels, but there seem to be very few. It is not recommended to book expensive hotels in the peak season for such an environment. Personally, I feel it is not worth it.

Finally, compared with Dongji Island, this one still lacks a lot, and I won’t go there again next time, but it’s nice to have a beach. Overall, I give it three stars. It’s completely my personal opinion, so you can take it as a reference.

On a scorching summer day, instead of staying in a cold, air-conditioned room, why not buy a boat ticket to Nanji Island and enjoy the salty sea breeze? Things to note about the boat trip: 1. Be sure to buy your ticket in advance, especially on weekends and holidays, when tickets are very limited. You can book tickets through the WeChat official account. You must present your ID and boat ticket to enter the security checkpoint. You will also need to check your ticket upon boarding the boat, so it's convenient to buy your ticket together with the boat. 2. The island bus service only seats 18 people. Of course, there are many buses, so there are also many people, so you'll have to wait. It's annoying, but you have to wait. 3. The island is full of insects, so bring sixgods; they repel mosquitoes, block odors, and are very useful for refreshing your mind. 4. The ultraviolet rays on the island are very strong, so sunscreen is essential. Be sure to wear sunglasses; the Nanji Island sun is really hot during the day. Costs: 1. Round-trip ferry ticket: 2322. Island fee: 45 (round-trip from the pier to the hotel, and from the hotel to the Sanpanwei Scenic Area. Any additional trips will be charged separately, so be sure to plan your itinerary accordingly.) 3. Nanji Island ticket: 1004. Accommodation and dining options vary depending on availability. (Summer is peak tourist season on Nanji Island, so accommodation and dining are more expensive than off-island areas. Farmers on the island use their own diesel generators for electricity, so power outages can occur during peak hours. Fruit and snacks are limited on the island, so bring some if you have the means and the energy.)

Nanji Island was quite crowded on Saturday, with a bonfire party on the beach. It was so relaxing to gaze at the starry sky, listen to the music, and the sound of the waves.

By Ang Ang Ge |

This island is incredibly small, and many people may not have heard of it. It's not a popular tourist destination, mostly populated by Wenzhou locals who spend their summers and weekends there. While the island may be small, it's no exaggeration to say you can get whatever you want here. For me, this island couldn't be closer—I can practically see it from the top of the mountain—but tickets are incredibly hard to come by on weekends. The key issue is that the island has a daily limit of 1,500 visitors. It's strongly recommended that you avoid weekends or holidays. It's ridiculous; who would have the time to visit without a holiday?

By Shining Little Bai |

Nanji Island's beach is quite nice, with clear blue water and fine sand, making it a pleasant walk. However, other facilities are limited, with only one motorboat for water activities and beach volleyball rentals. There's also a bonfire and outdoor karaoke in the evenings. It's actually quite pleasant to visit Nanji Island on your own; the island isn't crowded. The seafood is a bit pricey, but it's all very fresh. Just be prepared for seasickness.

By Eagle Wang Jun |

Visiting duration: 2-3 days. Suggested visit: Nanji Island is quite large, and the hike to the island is quite tiring, so you'll need to purchase a bus ticket. It's worth noting that the island's buses are one-time only, meaning you can only take one bus to visit each attraction. Nanji Island truly is an unspoiled and beautiful place. At around 4 a.m., the stars twinkled, leaving my companions transfixed. They almost forgot how long it had been since they'd seen such a beautiful starry sky. Accommodation on Nanji Island is actually quite good and reasonably priced.

By Eagle Wang Jun |

It must be said that the Nanji Islands are most beautiful in the early morning. With the morning light fading and the waves crashing against the shore, walking between the cliffs, gazing at the unknown world in the distance, feeling the traces of the vicissitudes of time left on the island, and reciting Su Dongpo's "The Eastward Flowing River"...

By Hang Hang Baby |

The scenery is beautiful and makes people linger. The people of Nanji are particularly hospitable.

By Xiangtan Train Fans |

The scenery is particularly beautiful, but the infrastructure is not so good. There are always power outages at night. When I asked, I found out that it is because they can't afford it. The infrastructure needs to be improved, but it is also good for the beautiful scenery!

Digging for clams on the beach (it's breeding season this summer, so I had to do it secretly...), scooping up small abalone from the rocks, and sea fishing were all very enjoyable. The main thing is that you can eat the seafood you caught after drying it. It's a relatively niche island, so there aren't many people, otherwise where would the abalone be for tourists to find? I'm not sure about the prices on the island... I have distant relatives on the island, and although I haven't seen them before, they provided food and accommodation when I went there, haha. There have been rumors that the military will requisition the island for many years, and apart from the addition of a helicopter airport, nothing has changed. Is it a business gimmick? Overall, it's not as beautiful as I imagined, but it's not bad either. I can't help it. As a Pingyang native, I have to give it a lot of emotional points.

Nanji Island, a national nature reserve, one of China's most beautiful islands, and a national 4A-level scenic spot, is also known as Haishan (also known as "Nanji Mountain" in ancient times). It is located in the East China Sea, 30 nautical miles from the mouth of Aojiang River in Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province, and 50 nautical miles from the city. It is a tourist island and the largest of the 52 islands in the Nanji Archipelago.

The Nanji Islands are located in the East China Sea, 30 nautical miles off the mouth of Aojiang River in Zhejiang Province, 56 kilometers from Aojiang Port and approximately 150 kilometers from Taiwan Island. They belong to Pingyang County. The area covers a total area of 200 square kilometers, with a land area of 11.3 square kilometers. They consist of 52 islands of varying sizes. With its beautiful marine scenery and well-preserved ecology, they became one of China's first five marine nature reserves in 1990. It is China's only national-level marine nature reserve for shellfish and algae, known as the "Shellfish and Algae Kingdom." In 1999, they were designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

The accommodation on the island is a bit simple and the water for daily use is not very clean, but the island is located in the sea and the scenery is still good. There are buses on the island that can travel around the island. The island is not big, so it is also good to walk and enjoy the scenery.

It has not been developed for a long time. I went there to eat steamed buns and beer.

The Nanji Islands have beautiful scenery and affordable seafood, so those in Zhejiang Province can still go there on weekends. It's said that they will become military islands in the future, so you may not be able to visit them anymore. If you want to go, hurry up!

By Dream Flying Tang Dynasty |

Due to the strong winds and waves, many people got seasick and vomited. Don't rush into the accommodations you see when you arrive on the island. Check the hygiene and prices first. Don't even bother eating at the cabins and restaurant on the beach. The cabins are shabby, and the bed felt a little dirty. I patted it a few times, and then spent the night scratching my head. We were lazy and just ate there. The restaurant is in a great location, facing the beach, with a panoramic view and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I'm a frequent goer, so I asked for prices and ate, but when it came time to pay, all the prices were doubled. A plate of seaweed was priced cheaply at 20 before the meal, but it became 50 after the meal. A plate of clam soup was 30 before the meal, but it became 60 after the meal. I argued with the proprietress, and it was like a scholar meeting a soldier...

The staff on the island had a cold service attitude. At the ticket window, I asked her if this was where I could buy ferry tickets. I asked her several times in a row, but she ignored me. I was really impressed.

The sea water is much cleaner than that of Dongtou and Yuliao, making it a good choice for short trips.

By Feifei who loves to jump |

The scenery is good, but the weather is not good. There is no blue sky. It is very frustrating to leave the island early due to strong winds.

By Temporary files |

It is really comfortable to walk on the shell beach!

By chinalake |

Nanji Island is relatively pristine and underdeveloped. Management is also poor and messy, with the only beach littered with trash. There's only one scenic spot: Sanpanwei. Overall, if you haven't been to the island, it's worth a visit, but don't expect too much.

By jax |

The scenery can be described in one word: "beautiful". I have been to many islands at home and abroad, but only Nanji makes the word "beautiful" pop into my mind.

The three best spots for scenery: Dasha'ao Beach, Sanpanwei Beach for sunrise and seaside promenade, and the coastal highway for sunset (the road from the pier to Dasha'ao).

Transportation on the island is quite expensive. A ticket of 45 yuan only allows you to ride 4 times. If you want to ride again, you have to buy another ticket. If you don’t want to spend more money, you can only walk. Although the island is not big, it is very tiring to walk around in the hot sun in summer.

Accommodation on the island is poor, so if you want something better, choose a hotel; hotels are more expensive, but don't expect too much. Don't even bother with fishing lodges; a private bathroom and air conditioning are good enough.

Nanji Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Zhejiang. It is a beautiful sight to behold. I love this island so much. The people are very simple and the commercial atmosphere is not very strong.

By Mr_lichuankai-calm |

Tourism development is not yet fully developed in this area, but it is a place worth exploring. The people on the island are simple and honest, the scenery is different, and the biodiversity is diverse (huge spiders, giant mosquitoes, you can't imagine how big!).

The scenery is good compared to the sea in the east of China. The boat ride is a bit tiring, the public facilities are poor, the islanders are unfriendly, and the consumption is deep and there are many pitfalls.

By Diaspora |

The waters of Nanji Island are blue. Although the facilities are not very good, the scenery is excellent and the seafood is very fresh! The main attractions are Dashaao and Sanpanwei. The beach of Dashaao is particularly beautiful, the sea view of Sanpanwei is particularly beautiful, and the large meadow on the island is very beautiful.

By Waiting for the emptiness |

The blue sea and blue sky are not expensive. As long as you go there during holidays, farm stays are relatively cheap. The entire island is not big, so two days is enough.

By Mr. Whale |

The water is very clean, and the sunrise and scenery at Sanweipan are quite good. The beach isn't as big as advertised, but it's very clean, with strong waves, so it's a good place to play. Transportation on the island is quite convenient. After buying the package, there's basically no worries. You can just stop by and get a car wherever you want. The seafood there is less available than in Aojiang, and the prices are a bit higher. If you're a foodie, you'll still want to eat in Aojiang! As for accommodation, the conditions on the island are generally average, and almost every household on the island raises chickens. Before dawn, the island is filled with chickens crowing, which is quite a sight!

I've been wandering around the Zhejiang coast for over a decade, and aside from a few newly popular islands, I've been to almost every other one. This was my second visit to Nanji Island, and I'm quite impressed with this little island. Firstly, the scenery here is truly one of the best on the Zhejiang coast. Secondly, it's quiet and less crowded; even during the National Day holiday, the beach wasn't crowded. I think this has a lot to do with the island's distance from the mainland. It takes over an hour to get to Nanji Island by speedboat from Ruian or Aojiang, and the one-way ticket is over 100 yuan. Such a high barrier to entry deters many tour groups. With such high transportation costs, it's better to go to nearby Dongtou Island, where the bridge has been repaired and cars can drive across. Also, on windy and rough days, it's best not to drink milk or eat anything else before boarding the boat. The boat shakes violently, and most people can't stand it. Book your boat tickets in advance. The slower pace is 3 days and 2 nights, while the faster pace is 2 days and 1 night.

It's still worth a visit, provided you are not a delicate person, because the island is not much developed, so development is relatively not that convenient. Go with the mentality of seeing the beautiful scenery.

It is an island far away from Wenzhou. The island is relatively backward. It is best to bring a tent with you so that you can watch the sea on the island. The food on the island is delicious.

By madman |

Although it is not as fun as the famous islands at home and abroad, it is also nice. You can rent a kayak to play in the sea. Don't dive or you will be caught as a fish.

I had read about it online before and decided to come here on the weekend. The overall feeling was that it was quite quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

First, let's talk about my trip. I traveled from Hangzhou East. I bought a bus ticket to Aojiang High-Speed Railway Station. From there, I took a 20-yuan taxi to the pier. The boat ticket and attraction entrance fee cost 230 yuan. The speedboat ride to the island took about 80 minutes. Remember to buy your return boat ticket before you get off the bus. You can take a 45-yuan minibus to the beach. The 45-yuan minibus is available all over the island and is free. Remember to call the dispatcher in advance. If you don't want to take the bus, the beach is a 25-30 minute walk. Booking a hotel in advance is essential. It's very crowded on weekends, and the accommodations are quite average. There's no air conditioning. Water, fruit, and other food are very expensive. The attractions are quite nice, though.

The scenery is pretty good, especially the scenery at Sanpanwei is worth seeing, the sunrise and the sea view...

Nanji Islands is beautiful, with beautiful beaches and lawns, and affordable seafood.

This is the farthest journey from the mainland. The air is very good, especially when you wander around the island at night and see the sky full of stars. It feels like I haven't seen so many stars in more than 20 years. It's worth a visit.

By 💎c |

The scenery is OK, the wind is strong at the beach, and it's nice to live right by the beach and watch the sea.

By cherry |

The scenery is beautiful, but the accommodation cost-effectiveness is very low!

The seafood is not cheap, the scenery is nice, and the sea is blue. However, the infrastructure is poor, making it inconvenient to travel back and forth.

By Azhi1206 |

If you come here with high expectations, you will definitely be disappointed. The island is expensive, the facilities are not good, and the seafood at the farmhouse is not very good (at least the two meals I had were not good). The beach is nice, the sea is quite blue, and I have to admit that this is a great place to watch the stars. It is very beautiful.

By Yee |

The beach is beautiful and the sea is blue. The only problem is that the infrastructure on the island is not very good. It would be better if the infrastructure could be better.

By Miya Lee |

There were relatively few tourists. It might be because it was about to rain when we arrived that the sea water looked a little turbid. However, when we were about to leave, the sun came out. Because it had just rained, the water was shrouded in mist and looked like a fairyland.

I heard that it's no longer possible to visit due to military issues. I was really lucky to be able to go. It's a very simple little island, quiet and peaceful. I loved everything except the southwest monsoon.

This kind of place will become a military stronghold in the future, so you should go there as soon as possible, it's great!

To get to Nanji Island from Wenzhou, you need to take a long-distance bus to Pingyang, then a ferry to the island. I was already a bit carsick, but the boat ride was truly unbearable. I vomited all the way and felt like I was going to die! Finally, we arrived on the island and were picked up by the hotel we'd booked online. We arrived at a farmhouse with three simple rooms, just two beds and nothing else. The toilet door had a hole in it! Hot water was only available on a timer! Food was incredibly expensive, especially vegetables. If you don't like seafood, you'll be in trouble; there's literally nothing to eat. The water was sometimes blue and sometimes murky. The scenery was pretty nice, with beaches and waves. The temperature was much lower at night, so bring plenty of clothes.

When I was a kid, the facilities were not perfect at that time, and there were ants everywhere. There were a lot of melon seeds on the beach, and you could make a dish by just touching them.

By A kite |

In Pingyang County, Wenzhou, you need to take a boat to get there, where you can camp and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

By I love to laugh |

You can see the best beaches in Zhejiang, and the sea water is blue.

By WANG |

The Nanji Islands are located in Wenzhou, near Fujian and across the sea from Taiwan. Dashaao and Sanweipan are the most scenic spots.

By windly-bb rhyme |

As a Wenzhou native, I want to say that Nanji Island is really beautiful. The scenery is beautiful and the seafood is very fresh. If I have to say a disadvantage, it is that the accommodation conditions are very average. Students who don’t know how to take a boat may feel a little bit distressed. Hehe
