It's too noisy. The bars are full of disco music, which is unbearable. And the music is very tacky!

By Super Jing Jing Jing✨ |

At night, it was very lively with bright lights and wine, but after looking carefully, I found that the so-called liveliness was all artificially designed. These people sitting at the table didn't drink. Most of them were middle-aged uncles and aunts. They danced like "collective zombies" hahaha.

By Swirling Water |

It is especially lively at night. As you walk by, you can hear the singing of various resident singers, making the night in Xitang even more lively.

By Watercolor car and Melaleuca |

Nearly 30 bars gather here. At night, the sound system thumps, the colorful lights dart, and the young, drunken generation bombards their ears and eyes with music. Just one look at the bottles reveals the frenzy here. Xitang bar prices are comparable to those in big cities. Don't enter without money.

By Think about it carefully |

There are many bars scattered around Xitang, and you can hear the resident singers singing folk songs when you pass by. The bar street is too noisy, which I personally don't like.

By Lover's Diary |

Bar Street is the most lively place in Xitang at night. All the bars try their best to attract customers, including some quiet bars and some dynamic bars. We don't drink, so we just go in for a stroll, take some photos, and then leave quickly. In order not to disturb the local residents, all the bars here close at around 10:30.

By Uzimi |

This is the most lively place in Xitang at night. There are many bars, some are very lively and noisy, and some are quiet small bars. It is a must-go for literary young people.

By kitten |

You can experience the quiet bar, I like the resident singer Mu Yan Mu Yu, which is more folk style

By Jenny |

Nearly 30 bars gather here. The thumping sound system and dazzling lights dazzle the eyes and ears. First, let's talk about the bar prices in Xitang. Generally speaking, the prices are similar to those in larger cities. And everyone is a tourist, coming to Xitang for leisure and entertainment.

By small durian |

There are resident singers in the quiet bar, which is okay.

The others are just average.

Maybe the bar I went to was not right. I felt that the cocktails were not carefully prepared and the hygiene was also average.

I can't appreciate those high bars, but I still have a lot of fun dancing. There are bar guys soliciting customers at the door.

It’s unlikely that I’ll go to Xitang a second time.

The first time I came to Xitang was in 2011, with my beloved

By The trumpet is not a trumpet |

There are many quiet bars and noisy bars on the bar street. It was a pleasure to go to the hut under the ice and listen to folk songs!

By Rachel |

We went to a music bar to see a live performance. A colleague did some research and said Chujian Bar was a good choice. We went straight there a little after 6pm. There were very few people, and the average price was over 88 yuan per person, which was very expensive. The three resident singers took turns singing, and the key was that they all sounded terrible! I suggest you go in and listen for a while to see if it’s your style before going in...

By Huang Xiaobai OP |

There are quite a lot of bars and girls, haha.

By Wang Yucheng |

It's very noisy at night, everyone is having a good time, it's boring

By Drifting in the World |

The atmosphere is very lively. There are bars that are bustling with bright lights and flashing colorful lights, and there are also more elegant music bars with dim lights and music. Although it always feels that it does not fit the positioning of Xitang Ancient Town, it is also quite interesting.

By Summer Night Rex Glass |

I like this atmosphere....it's hot till midnight...

By Can't let go of tenderness |

The bar street is very lively, and the bars have different characteristics. It is a good night for chatting up people.

By Little Candy |

There are two types of bars here: one is the quiet bar type, where only the singer sings quiet songs and everyone chats. The other type is the typical bustling bar type.

By Running with the wind |

The Xitang bar street was bustling with activity in September, with bright lights and a bustling crowd. The ancient charm and modernity collided, and the young people were having a blast. We chose a quiet bar, where we quietly drank a cocktail and listened to the resident singer's gentle singing, which relaxed our minds.

By Hannah |

It’s too noisy, not my style. The noisy environment is no longer suitable for people of our mature age!

By Cherry buns |

Although there are many gimmicks, it is really uninspiring and does not seem to fit in with Xitang.

By Nanhai Yida/Dan |

If you come to Xitang and don’t go to the bar to experience it, it feels like you have come to Xitang in vain.

Bar Street! This place really gets busy after 6:30 PM. These bars aren't open during the day. The buzz here is truly captivating. At night, the entire street fills with deafening rock music, creating a truly vibrant atmosphere. If you're not keen on the hustle and bustle, there are quiet bars along the river. Sit down, grab a drink, listen to the soothing music and the cozy atmosphere. This is a truly special place to experience.

By Carina Sissi |

The bars are bustling at night, and every bar is shouting outside. The rhythm of the music brings you a HEIGH feeling. If you go to Xitang Bar Street, you really can't miss it.

By Ta-da |

Highly recommended, a bar street, when night falls there will be a guy at the door to greet you, the bar atmosphere is very good with a large display screen, very suitable for couples or friends to have a drink at night, there are band accompaniment singing, because I was a girl so I didn't dare to go in, I really want to go in and come back next time if I have the chance

By zhm_jinan |

It's relatively quiet in the evening, but it might be lively at night.

By Jerez |

Tangdong Street in Xitang is incredibly noisy. As someone accustomed to the roar of airplane engines, it's strange to feel the sound swamping my head. Crossing Tangdong Street and heading north brings me to the river. A short walk east brings me to an independent bar called "The Story of Time." It's empty. But I chose it simply for its tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. Okay, I admit I came to the Xitang bar with the idea of a chance encounter, but once you're there, you realize it's nothing like you imagined. At this moment, all I want is to lean against the wall, drink a few drinks, listen to music that suits my taste, and reminisce about my own life. Everyone's pursuits are different, and so are their life choices. Regardless of your choices, staying true to your heart is paramount.

By Swear to wander around the world |

The bar street is very nice at night, but a bit messy.

By Sweet_Little |

The whole street was lined with bars, it was very lively and exciting. At first, when we passed by, we wanted to go to the bar called Wangfei (the handsome guy at the door was handsome and had a great figure). Then, after dinner, when we were getting off the bridge, there was a bar called Parker on the left that sounded very lively and had a great atmosphere. So we wavered and went back to Wangfei, but the music wasn't very good at that time, so we finally decided to go to Parker (actually, Parker later played some not-so-good and vulgar music to meet the needs of some customers, and Parker didn't have any activities like Meituan, so we thought we might as well go to Wangfei, haha).

The four of us ordered 12 small beers and a few slices of watermelon, which cost 650 RMB (more than what you'd normally pay at a bar in our city). My friend had seen a Meituan app that said beer in Xitang was only 15 RMB. Even though the bar we went to didn't have Meituan, it still seemed unbelievable that the price was so low! After all, when would you go to a place that doesn't rip you off? Hahahaha

By ❤Liangzi💤 |

The bars in Xitang basically close very early in the evening, and almost all tourists in Xitang will return to their hotels and inns very early, because it is said that there are some ghosts here at night.

By Dream Soul |

I encountered the folk bar Utopia and liked the love stories it told me. I saw a guy buying flowers for his beloved girl, two fashionable girls chatting and laughing, and a lonely man ordering a cocktail in silence. But my favorite was the magnetic voice of the lead singer. "I Crossed the Ocean to See You", "Miss Dong", "Nanshan Nan"... familiar melodies, I couldn't help but applaud, and the shopkeeper's singing was not bad either😂😂😂

By Lazy Cat |

The bar street is very lively at night.

By Shining Snow Floating Jade |

Xitang Bar Street is where the nightlife begins. People from all over the world gather in one place, which is a unique experience!

By carol |

It's a long bar street with all kinds of bars. The bar street is right by the river and you can sit outside.

By Baby elk |

It is very lively at night, and it is fun to dress up as a doll to attract business. The drinks are generally expensive, but it is still a good experience.

By I'm Bling Bling |

The bar street in Xitang is very lively, with quiet bars and noisy bars. When you walk on the corridor and pass by the busy bars, you can hear the noisy singing inside, which is very contagious.

By Salted Fish Classmate |

It's very noisy and the drinks are super expensive, so it's better not to go. Just take a look.

By salted egg yolk |

I usually think of bars as small, with booths. I was quite surprised to see a bar like the one below in Xitang. The entire hall was occupied by seats! So I took a quick photo at the entrance before it even opened. Overall, the bar street is similar to Lijiang, with a culture of romantic encounters and lots of trendy elements. I don't know why, but I personally feel like the overall look is a bit like a brothel in a TV drama OTZ

By Monster freedoM |

Noisy, bustling, dirty and messy, not as cool as the legend, all bars in the world are the same

By Lee. |

It's lively for young people, but I don't like the noisy atmosphere, so I didn't go in with my pregnant friend.

By Niu Dada |

What a lively bar street, it's so exciting and popular

By Hedgehog Apple |

There are light bars and high bars in Xitang’s bar street. Personally, I recommend the light bar. After choosing for a long time, I finally chose Hou Lai’s bar. The resident singers here are really good and it’s very comfortable to listen to them!

By Helena |

It's still a bit hot after the National Day holiday. I like this place very much. A day is enough to visit it. I can buy some handicrafts during the day and enjoy the night view at night. I can find a bar to sit and listen to music. It's very comfortable.

By bukubumei9 |

The night was so hot, really hot!!!

By Bugs leave |

Many people go to Xitang for its fresh, artistic atmosphere, and the bar street. I think Xitang's best spots are early morning and evening. At night, of course, it's all about the bar street. Actually, this was my first time going to a bar. At first, I didn't dare go in. Looking at the bright lights and the nightlife, I'd be lying if I didn't want to, but I was definitely intimidated. Finally, with the encouragement of my friends, I went to a bar called "First Sight," ordered a blue cocktail (I've forgotten the name), and cracked some sunflower seeds. The bar itself wasn't anything special, and it didn't seem as scary as I'd imagined. Maybe next time I go, I'll be more relaxed...

By China-TravelNote user 93077761 |

It's similar to the bar street in other small ancient towns.

They are all decorations in the town

I haven't been in anyway.

Some people find it lively

Some people think that it destroys the tranquility of the ancient town.

Personal opinion

I feel like a bar street is now a standard feature of various developed ancient towns.

By Visala |

The bar street during the day and at night presents completely different views, which is very impressive. However, don't just go in as soon as you hear the call. Many shops will cheat you, so be discerning.

By Not too small |

During the day, Xitang, with its flowing water, gentle breeze, and gently rocking ferryboats, resembles a beautiful watercolor painting. At night, Xitang, with its flashing neon lights, red lanterns, bustling crowds, and vibrant music, feels like a vibrant metropolis. Strolling along Bar Street, you'll find countless bars of all sizes, each with a diverse and captivating array of names, some even full of allure. It's best to stay away from Bar Street, as it's noisy until late at night, but don't miss Xitang at night.

By aa |

There is a small bar in Xitang called: I'm Waiting for You in Xitang. The bar owner likes Wang Feng's songs. He usually plays and sings by himself, and shouts "Have a baby soon" while singing. The red wine in the bar is also very genuine, without any fake wine, and the atmosphere is good.

By National treasure king |

If you're in Hangzhou, you absolutely have to visit Xitang and stay in a B&B. I stumbled upon a guide to finding a boyfriend, and the fame of Dongguan. Interesting wall writing, isn't it?

By Go with the flow |

I miss it so much, the atmosphere is so good. If I can, I would like to go again

By Jessica |

The singer sang very well. I ordered a cup of tea, played cards with my colleagues, listened to songs, talked and laughed, and had a pleasant time.

By Green military uniform dream |

It looks relatively peaceful during the day, but at night it suddenly becomes lively and has a great atmosphere. You can go and experience it at night.

By The wingless |

Bar Street is a place for romantic encounters.

It has also become a feature of many ancient towns.

During the day, enjoy the quietness and elegance brought by the small bridges, flowing water and people.

Enjoy the passion and vitality brought by wine and music in the evening.

Perhaps this kind of life is what many people pursue.

By Student He Xiaomo |

When you go to the bar street, you must choose a good shop. At that time, after the recommendation of the owner of Mu Coffee, I went to a bar and listened to music slowly. It was very comfortable.

By China-TravelNote users |

Xitang bars have two styles: the frenetic and the quiet. The frenetic type, though, never operates during the day. After 5 p.m., the "Shamatte" staff begin setting up the venue and attracting customers. As night falls, the staff at the door begin swaying to the music, and the patrons inside dance to the beat. The atmosphere doesn't resemble that of an ancient town, and older tourists often look out but avoid such places. The other type is the quieter, more artistic bar. Of course, the drinks are also expensive, with a bottle of Budweiser starting at 58 yuan, and a minimum of three bottles, which scares away many young tourists. A singer sings in the middle of the bar with a guitar, and this atmosphere is more suitable for us on vacation. Speaking of group deals, you can look for them in advance. A set menu for 58 yuan is more cost-effective, while a la carte is really boring.

By 520summerxy |

Some bars are quite unique. I suggest you take a look around before deciding which one to go to.

By LXL-Small |

There are many unique bars, I like to stroll around this street

By Geaogao |

There are so many bars... I don't know which one to choose... I went to two bars in one night... one music bar... the other one has a dance floor... the average cost is about 200 yuan per person... there are three of us... young people will like it haha

By You are a goddess 😄 |

The tour guide led us through a bar. There were indeed many bars, one next to the other. I wanted to go in and take a look, but I couldn’t leave. I quite liked it.

By Shen Dafa |

A small roadside bar, no noise, just sit and chat

By Joyful Swords and Howling Rain |

Compared to the bar streets in other ancient towns I have visited, the bar street in Wuzhen is more organized and relatively quiet. There are no bands and no loud duets. It is relatively quiet, which makes people want to stop and stay longer, enjoy the beautiful night scenery, chat quietly, and enjoy the comfort. It is really petty bourgeoisie. With a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine, you can talk freely and feel free.

By Kolin_Y |

The atmosphere is great, but the prices are definitely not low, even higher than in Lijiang. Take Hison Bar as an example, we have Platinum Cards, and after a 50% discount on drinks, a dozen beers still cost 560 yuan. You can imagine.

By Calm Night |

It's a very noisy street. Every bar has a DISCO vibe, with ping-pong and all kinds of guys soliciting business at the door.

2013.12

By Gao Jie |

It's very lively, there are many tourists, and the bar guys are very enthusiastic...

By Smallangela Dream |

The impression given by the bars in Xitang is that the lively bars are particularly noisy, the music is deafening, the atmosphere inside is very lively, and there are handsome guys and beautiful girls at the door to invite you in to spend money freely. The quiet bars are not too quiet, and it is also very exciting to have resident singers singing and playing by themselves. It depends on personal preference. I suggest that you can come to the bar to sit after strolling around the Misty Corridor in the evening, or you can use Meituan group buying, but some stores require entry before 7 o'clock to use the group buying, and some are 8 o'clock, so you must check the usage time clearly, otherwise they will not verify you when you enter the bar, and you can only pay on the spot, which is quite expensive.

By Yi Ya |

It's very lively, especially crowded at night. I love the variety of quiet bars! Finding a quiet bar, drinking a Long Island, and listening to a good live music will slowly relax me! Whenever I'm feeling down, I love coming to Xitang, strolling around during the day and stopping to listen at night. Crazy Wish in Xitang is one of my favorite quiet bars. Sisi's voice is so beautiful, I love it!

By Fried mushrooms |

Xitang's bar street is truly bustling at night... Walking past it feels like stepping into the future. There are all sorts of cosplay and social dance performances at the entrance, attracting attention and attracting business—things like Sun Wukong, gorillas, and astronauts... I could only watch from the outside and didn't dare go in. After all, I was alone and a student. >.<

By Peak wearing a straw hat |

This is the busiest and most lively street in Xitang Scenic Area! As the evening approaches and the lights come on, people start to flock to the bars here! Most bars have regular resident singers! It's up to you to choose your taste! The bar prices here are slightly higher than some places outside, but since it's a scenic area, this is still acceptable! After all, it's all about the mood and the atmosphere! In a nutshell, it's all about that feeling!

By I don't Care |

You can go and feel the atmosphere of the bar. The whole atmosphere is good. Everyone drinks and chats together.

By Snail 1 |

The bar was quite fun. It was my first time going to a bar.

By LAREINAT |

At that time, there were only a few bars scattered around the bar street, but it was much more lively when I went there the following year. It should be even more lively now.

By Cabbage Locust |

Well, speaking of Xitang, I have to mention the bar street. I've never experienced anything like it, with its pop music and energetic dancing. Of course, the first bar I entered felt incredibly expensive. I wonder if you feel the same way. Entering a bar, surrounded by music, drinking cold beer, and under the swaying colorful lights, I relaxed my depressed mood. There were also many activities in the evening. It was destined to be a city that never sleeps.

By Run ^ω^ New Life |

It's very lively at night, the environment is very noisy and the sound is deafening

By K mom |
