Resembling a dragon swaying in the East China Sea, the Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge is comprised of five distinctly designed bridges. Driving through them, the undulating curves of the bridges against the azure waters create a captivating experience. The red pylons of Xihoumen Bridge frame the azure sea and sky, creating a stunning backdrop. The bridge complex spans over 20 kilometers. Passing Jintang Island, you can admire giant container ships entering the harbor. The section over Cezi Island offers breathtaking views of the molten golden sunset. Visiting on a clear day is recommended; the magnificent contrast between the mountains and the sea along the way will completely transform your understanding of cross-sea engineering.

On October 4, 2010, my family took a bus from Shanghai to Zhoushan. We passed the Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge in the drizzle at noon. The writing on the mountain was very spectacular.

To get from Ningbo to Zhoushan, you must cross the sea bridge. Besides the sea bridge, there are also several other island-connecting bridges, all of which are impressive and impressive.

By Broken-wing butterfly magic wand |

The cross-sea scenery here is unique. It feels great to drive through it once! It’s best to avoid holidays and pay attention to crosswinds in the middle section.

By Heart is far away |

The view from this bridge is really nice. Why is the water near the coast so turbid and yellow?

By fincen |

Usually cars pass by, it is the only way to Zhoushan

By He Anfei |

The bridge from Ningbo to Zhoushan is slightly longer than the Qingdao cross-sea bridge. It spans 4 islands, passes through 9 culverts and 2 tunnels, with a total length of 48 kilometers, which is also very impressive.

Compared to the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, the Zhoushan Bridge connects the bridge and the island, and the scenery is much more beautiful. It is just a bit more expensive, with a single car costing 100 yuan.

By Travel to the edge of the universe |

It is a large cross-sea bridge. There are several cross-sea bridges in China. However, the toll has increased. This bridge shortens the travel time from Zhoushan to Shanghai.

During the Dragon Boat Festival in 2018, I visited Dongji Island, featured in the film "See You Tomorrow." It took about a four-hour bus ride from Hangzhou, followed by a two-hour ferry ride from the Banshengdong Pier in Shenjiamen, to reach Miaozihu Island on Dongji Island. The next day, I also visited Dongfushan. It was a truly enjoyable trip.

I took a long-distance bus from Ningbo to Zhoushan and passed by this cross-sea bridge. It was very shocking and huge!

By Le'er |

Every time you go to Putuo Mountain, you must pass through the cross-sea bridge. Before the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Cross-sea Bridge was built, the Zhoushan Cross-sea Bridge was the largest in the country and is worth a visit!

By Eagle |

It is divided into 4 sections, and the bridge types are different in different sections. The Xihoumen Bridge is like the San Francisco Bridge.

By Half-Life Boy |

It was my first time driving across a sea-crossing bridge. Although the bridge is not long, the experience was really great. I will definitely try the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge if I have the chance in the future.

By Jiushe is wealthy |

Driving from Zhoushan to Ningbo, passing the cross-sea bridge, it was very shocking, especially when there was a layer of mist, it looked like a fairyland from a distance.

By Free and refreshing breeze |

The reason for recommending it is because it is a must-go place when going to Zhoushan by land.

By Miss Zhang |

The drive to Zhoushan via the cross-sea bridge was breathtaking.

By Winter Bear |

This is the only way from Ningbo to Zhoushan. The journey takes over an hour. On clear days, you can watch the sea change from black to yellow and green beneath the blue sky and white clouds. The clouds on the seashore are huge, like cotton candy. The cross-sea bridge from Ningbo to Zhoushan actually consists of four bridges, spanning the mainland, Zhoushan Island, Jintang Island, and several other islands. The longest section is the Jintang Bridge.

By Mo Shangxun |

Although tolls are expensive, the construction of the cross-sea bridge has greatly reduced travel time. It's not easy to take photos from the highway, so the experience is better in person. The Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge is the collective name for the Xihoumen Bridge, Taoyaomen Bridge, and Guanyin Bridge.

By 、MO |

I have walked through the Hangzhou Bay and Qingdao cross-sea bridges. The most beautiful one is undoubtedly the Zhoushan cross-sea bridge. It feels like walking on the sea and you can't see the land. It is very magical.

By Andy.Bohu.Tang |

I came here by car from Zhoushan. The cross-sea bridge is very long and takes a long time to drive.

The scenery along the way is very nice

By Xi Zheng |

There is no need to stop at the central viewing platform. Because it is no different from what you see on the bridge, the water is yellow, haha

By Silent Valley Facing the Wind |

The Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge would likely consist of multiple island-crossing bridges, typically including the Jintang Bridge, Xihoumen Bridge, Taotianmen Bridge, Xiangjiaomen Bridge, and Cengang Bridge, from west to east. Driving from Shanghai to Dinghai would require crossing both the Hangzhou Bay Bridge and the Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge, reducing travel time from eight hours to four.

By soap |

The bridge is the only way to get from Ningbo to Zhoushan Zhujiajian by bus. The bridge itself is a magnificent landscape. This bridge is probably the largest island-to-land connection project in the world.

By KAREN |

I passed by on my way to work, and I only remember that the bridge was very long. I also encountered a very interesting thing. Before getting on the bridge, I stopped at the service area. As a result, there was one more person on the bus, which was not full. I asked many times who got on the wrong bus, but no one said anything.

Passing by the Zhoushan Cross-sea Bridge, which is about 50 kilometers long and consists of five cross-sea bridges and connecting roads, the bridges are majestic and magnificent. Several large-span suspension bridges have won many world titles by virtue of the application of nearly 100 technological innovations. I can't help but be shocked by human wisdom again.

By Cute little donkey |

When did the Zhoushan Bridge become a tourist attraction in Ningbo? Zhoushan is not part of Ningbo. It has been independent for many years. Zhoushan is a city! City! City! Oh, I have to explain it to others for a long time every time.

By Mushroom M |

From the north of Zhenhai, you can take the cross-sea bridge that connects several islands in Zhoushan. You can enjoy the sea view from a distance, but the view is blocked by the guardrail. There are many speed cameras.

By small belly |

It's quite spectacular. The shock I had when I first climbed the bridge is unforgettable.

By ·Root. |

Every time I go to Zhoushan, I pass by here. My mother loves going to the beach. Hahaha, the scenery is great. It would be even better if the sea water is bluer.

By YJJ |

The bridge connects Ningbo's Zhenhai District and Zhoushan's Jintang District, both of which are great places for seafood. The bridge isn't very long, but it has a limited number of lanes, so the speed limit is 80. There are a lot of speed cameras on the bridge, so be careful not to get caught on camera.

A very spectacular cross-sea bridge, the only way from Ningbo to Zhoushan, and the result of science and technology challenging nature.

By Quiet Dawn |

The Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge is a major component of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Expressway (G9211) on the national expressway network. The bridge runs from the Yadanshan Ring Road on National Highway 329 on Zhoushan Island, passing through Lidiao Island, Fuchi Island, Cezi Island, and Jintang Island in the Zhoushan Archipelago to Ningbo Zhenhai District, where it connects to the Ningbo Ring Expressway and the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. The total length is 48.16 kilometers.

Alas, the sea water is not good, the scenery is good, but the place is too small

By Youngsen |

I passed by on the way to Zhoushan. The scenery was very beautiful, but it was a pity that I couldn't get off the bus to take pictures.

By Orangeらmm |

It's a pretty nice view, the length is OK, and you can't stop while driving.

By Rui |

Because I came from Qingdao, we have a Jiaozhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge here, which is similar to the one in Ningbo.

By Want Want Little Su |

If the weather is good, you can see the sea, but the wind is very strong

By 36 |

The scenery of the cross-sea bridge is still very good, and the view from where we sit is very wide. We can see the mountains, the sea and the city. Do we think we have earned it?

By Under the white moonlight |

I really have to admire our country's bridge-building technology, which has greatly shortened the distance between two places.

By Nine-life Zi Chou |

The blue sky, pure white clouds, the scenery and air are refreshing, and the quality of public services is average.

As an island with a flourishing tourism industry in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, Zhoushan is quite nice. I've been to the seafood, beaches, and the famous Putuo Mountain three or four times. Driving there on weekdays is also very convenient, and with the construction of the cross-sea bridge, getting to the island has become even easier. The only problem is the high entrance fee, probably due to the high cost of building the bridge.

By Twinkle |

It is the only way to go to Putuo Mountain, so it can only be recommended...

When traveling, put your phone against the glass to take pictures, and there will be no stains on the glass. Look at the changes of mudflats, water, and mudflats. It would be better if the water was clearer.

By labixiaodi |

The 30-kilometer cross-sea bridge can only be experienced by driving

By Sunny |

It is really very, very long. If you have not seen the sea much, you will definitely scream, because in addition to seeing the sea, you are also passing through such a long sea, from one end to the other. You can only watch quietly in the car, feeling excited and full of more longing for the sea.

By Zhao Huoding |

My mother and I like everything about Ningbo. The city is green and the air is good. The only problem is that some roads are still under construction. I hope Ningbo will be even better in the future.
