Introducing North Shore Covered Bridge

The Bei'an Covered Bridge, located 300 meters to the right of the Hangzhou-Anhui Highway in Bei'an Town , was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. It is the most unique and spectacular bridge in southern Anhui. This world-famous ancient covered bridge is the pride of the locals.

There are two paths leading to the covered bridge along the stream. One end of the covered bridge is inscribed with " Qian'an Former Site " , the other end is inscribed with " Xiangxianli " , and the side is inscribed with " Xiliu Yuxiu " . On the other side are many windows of different shapes.

There are wooden benches on both sides of the bridge, a Buddhist shrine in the middle, and a corridor built on the bridge to protect against wind and rain, and also provide a place for people from afar to rest. Every summer, free tea is placed at the bridge head for people to use. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province.
