The White Egret Goddess is located at the South Yacht Wharf in Bailuzhou Park, Xiamen, in the heart of the park, adjacent to Yundang Lake. The 13.6- meter- tall statue is a landmark of Xiamen. Surrounded by a variety of fish, the lake offers a relaxing retreat after feeding the pigeons at the Pigeon Square, enjoying the breeze by the lake.

She is the symbol of Egret Island and a masterpiece among Xiamen's urban sculptures. The Egret Goddess gracefully and demurely kneels on a huge rock, combing her long hair, with a little egret perched on her shoulder.
