Consequently, over 100 rare bamboo species, sourced from Hua'an, Japan, India, Malaysia, Colombia, and Ecuador, compete for attention here! The world's largest bamboo, the smallest, the most flowery, the most storied, the most beautiful, the most knotty, the most bizarrely shaped, and so on, each swaying in a dazzling array of colors.

The World Bamboo Provenance is dedicated to showcasing the global significance of bamboo, with a large collection of bamboo species from different countries. It serves as both an ecological park and a research center, promoting the sustainable use of bamboo for various industries.
Located in Zhangzhou, Fujian, the World Bamboo Provenance is easily accessible by taxi or private car. Public buses serve the area, but taxis are the most convenient for direct access. It is about 30 minutes from Zhangzhou city center.
The site is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The best time to visit is during spring or autumn when the weather is mild and comfortable for outdoor activities.
The entrance fee is approximately 40 RMB. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance, though it’s advisable to check if online booking is available for convenience.
It is not necessary to book tickets in advance, but during peak seasons or weekends, it’s recommended to buy tickets online to avoid long lines.
