
Tang Yin Garden, also known as Tang Bohu Cultural Park and Tang Yin's cemetery, is located southwest of Suzhou City. Built in the Ming Dynasty, it boasts a history of over 400 years. The cemetery boasts a beautiful environment, neatly arranged courtyards, simple architecture, and tranquil scenery.
Tang Yin Garden is the only Suzhou garden dedicated to the artistic life of Tang Bohu and the works of the Four Masters of the Ming Dynasty. It is a must-see for those seeking to understand Tang Yin culture, Wu culture, and Chinese calligraphy and painting. At the time of Tang Yin's death, his family was impoverished, and he was buried in his former residence in Taohuawu . It was not until the 22nd year of the Jiajing reign that his interment was moved to its current location.
As soon as you enter Tang Yin Garden , you will see a screen wall with the " Four Talents of Jiangnan " . After entering, there is a scene of " Talent Washing Fan " , " Golden Toad " , the Gate of the Number One Scholar, and a calligraphy piece created by Tang Bohu hanging in front of the gate. After that is the inscription of Tang Bohu's " Peach Blossom Temple " , and below it is the Peach Blossom Temple built by Tang Bohu based on " Peach Blossom Spring " .
